1. (Update): Revised exit poll shows dramatic gain for Left-Arab bloc - Israel Hayom

Despite an earlier assessment of a virtual tie between Right and Left in the projected Knesset seats, it appears that the latter may get 6 more seats thanks to revised data from Channel 13 News' exit poll.

According to the revised data, the Joint Arab List is expected to get 15 seats, giving the overall left-wing bloc 69 seats, compared to the Right's 53. While this still means neither bloc has a majority, it makes it much harder for Likud to claim victory and for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to secure a fifth term.

The data was revised after it became apparent that some participants interviewed for the exit poll had lied. This was verified in part by the real vote count from certain ballots, Channel 13 News said.

2. Benny Gantz: We Want To Build Broad National Unity Government - Jerusalem Post

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz said the time had come to heal Israel's wounded society after exit polls suggested his party would be the largest in the Knesset. He added that his party would immediately start to work on a broad national unity government and that he had already spoken with the leaders of the left wing parties.

"According to the current results, the Israeli public put their faith in us for the second time," said Gantz in the early hours of Wednesday, speaking to supporters at the party's election night headquarters in Tel Aviv.

"No to incitement and division, yes to unity. No to corruption, and yes to clean hands. No to attempts to destroy Israeli democracy, and yes to statesmanship and Israel as a democratic and Jewish state."

A feeling of cautious optimism swept across a modest crowd of Blue and White Party supporters as they watched exit polls broadcast simultaneously on Israel's three major television channels at the party's election night headquarters in Tel Aviv. Revised exit polls gave even greater cause for optimism.

3. Liberman's Gambit Pays Off As Yisrael Beytenu Remains Kingmaker - Jerusalem Post

Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman's high-risk election gambit appeared to have paid off on Tuesday night, as exit polls showed he had dramatically increased his party's Knesset representation and remains the kingmaker in the convoluted political landscape.

According to the three major exit polls, Yisrael Beytenu can expect to gain between eight and 10 Knesset seats, an impressive increase from the five seats it scraped together in the April election.

Channel 12 and Channel 13's exit polls both gave Yisrael Beytenu eight seats, while Kan's exit poll put the party at 10 seats.

4. Benjamin Netanyahu Vows To Build A New Government - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised that he would build the next government in a speech to his supporters at Expo Tel Aviv, after 3am early Wednesday.

Netanyahu spoke half an hour after Blue and White leader Benny Gantz vowed to do the same. Amid chants of "no to a unity government," the prime minister said all of the Likud's current coalition partners want to build a coalition.

"All of the Likud's partners want to move forward together to build a strong government and not permit a dangerous anti-Zionist government," Netanyahu told the crowd.

A hoarse Netanyahu was greeted by chants of "Bibi, King of Israel." He quipped that "it is better to lose your voice than lose the state."

5. "Voters said 'no' to Netanyahu" - Israel National News

Tuesday's Knesset election constituted a rejection of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his right-wing government, freshman MK Orit Farkash-Hacohen (Blue and White) claimed Tuesday night, after exit polls show Blue and White leading the Likud.

"If the exit polls reflect a [real] trend, then the people have clearly spoken, and they have said 'no' to Netanyahu," said Farkash-Hacohen in an interview with Arutz Sheva.

"The public said that it wants a broad unity government, a government that will work for them, represent the majority and respect the entire Jewish people."

Farkash-Hacohen expressed optimism that the results of the election would force the formation of a "secular unity government", which she defined as a coalition "which isn't satisfied with being a narrow government representing specific sectors, but is instead a large national liberal government that appeals to everyone. The Blue and White party has many people from the national-religious sector, and we will turn to as many other parties as possible."

6. Rivlin pushes for speedy coalition moves, aims to avoid third election - YNET News

President Reuven Rivlin said Tuesday night that he will press party leaders to quickly form a new government after exit polls showed no clear winner in parliamentary elections.

Rivlin's office said that his nomination of a candidate to form the next government would be guided in part by the need to avoid a third election, after two votes in five months. It said he would meet with party leaders" after he receives a clear picture of the results, "and as soon as possible."

The president's statement said that he would act "in full coordination with the chairman of the Central Elections Committee, and once he has heard the position of all the factions he will take all considerations into account.

The president will be guided by the need to form a government in Israel as quickly as possible and to implement the will of the people as expressed in the results of the election, as well as the need to avoid a third general election."

The Daily Brief

1. Christine Blasey Ford's Friend Says She Was Threatened with 'Smear Campaign' if She Didn't Back Kavanaugh Story - Breitbart

On Sunday, Breitbart News reported that several Democrat presidential candidates were calling for Justice Kavanaugh to be impeached. However, the Times was forced to correct the story on Monday after it was revealed that the "victim" of Kavanaugh's alleged vulgar action at college refused to confirm the story.

On Monday evening, Jan Crawford of CBS News reported Keyser claimed "Ford's allies pressured her" to support the accusation against Kavanaugh and was threatened with a "smear campaign" if she did not comply.

Ford said her high school friend, Leland Keyser, was at the party that took place in 1982 when she claims Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her. However, in a new book titled The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation, written by New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, Keyser is quoted as saying, "I don't have any confidence in the story. Those facts together I don't recollect, and it just didn't make any sense." (Read more)

- Father, we lift up the Kavanaugh family and pray they find their peace in You. Give Justice Kavanaugh recourse against those who have tried to destroy him, without cause.

- For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. (Psalm 44:6-7)

2. Trump names five finalists for national security adviser - Washington Examiner

President Trump told reporters on Air Force One that he now has five finalists for the position of national security adviser. Trump named attorney and U.S. hostage negotiator Robert O'Brien, assistant to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Ricky Waddell, Energy Department nuclear security expert Lisa Gordon-Hagerty, former National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz, and retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who currently advises Vice President Mike Pence.

Trump implicitly ruled out leading contenders with large bases of support, including retired Army Col. Douglas Macgregor, a favorite of noninterventionists, U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, and U.S. special representative for Iran Brian Hook. (Read more)

- Father, we ask You to give President Trump wisdom and discernment as he chooses the best person for national security advisor. We pray he will be surrounded with the right people in every position.

- Now God gave Solomon wisdom and very great discernment and breadth of mind, like the sand that is on the seashore. (1 Kings 4:29)

3. Without Accountability, There Can Never Be Trust in Our Government - Epoch Times

It was announced on Sept. 13 that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz has written a letter to members of Congress, informing them that he has at last completed his long-awaited investigation of matters involving the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC).

For a year and a half, Horowitz and many of the 450 people working in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) have been digging deeply into just how the fake Trump-Russia collusion information was used by top federal officials to start law enforcement investigations and intelligence operations against the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

The crimes here amount to a deliberate attempt to subvert the federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies and turn them into political engines of partisan policy to shield political friends and destroy political enemies. After covering up serious crimes committed by their political friends, these key government officials used their offices to manufacture crimes to use as a pretext to investigate and punish their political enemies.

All safeguards carefully and thoughtfully put into place to prevent exactly what happened in this Spygate scandal were deliberately subverted and corrupted. Unless this behavior is punished with the utmost severity, no one will ever be able to place trust in the federal government. The ball of accountability will soon end up in the court of U.S. Attorney General William Barr. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the result of this DOJ Inspector General investigation will lead to consequences for the guilty and justice throughout our nation.

- My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. (Isaiah 51:5a)

4. Obama's team lines up to defend Andrew McCabe in court - Politico

A cavalcade of Obama-era national security leaders have committed to testify on behalf of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe should he face trial over allegations that he misled officials about leaks to the media, however - former FBI Director James Comey - has said he could be a witness against him.

McCabe was fired in 2018 after the Justice Department's inspector general concluded that the FBI's No. 2 had exhibited a "lack of candor" during its probe into disclosures to the media about the bureau's investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

If McCabe ultimately does face charges, he'll have the backing of several top national officials who have now left government, including Mary McCord, a career DOJ attorney who oversaw the government's Russia probe as acting head of the DOJ's National Security Division, and David Cohen, the No. 2 at the CIA from 2015 to 2017. Lisa Monaco, an Obama-era homeland security adviser, and Denis McDonough, a former Obama chief of staff, also agreed to testify. (Read more)

- Father, we pray no one will be able to deceive the court with a multitude of witnesses.

- You shall not bear a false report; do not join your hand with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. (Exodus 23:1)

5. Judge Rules Against Scrapping Epstein's Plea Deal That Protected Alleged Accomplices - Epoch Times

A Florida judge this week ruled not to scrap the non-prosecution agreement that protected convicted sex offender and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged accomplices, just months after ruling that it had violated the Crime Victims' Rights Act (CVRA).

U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra on Monday, Sept. 16 said the controversial plea deal will remain intact despite a previous ruling on Feb. 21 that prosecutors at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida broke the law when it was arranged in 2007 without notifying victims.

Marra also ruled on Monday that a group of women who said disgraced financier Epstein sexually abused them are not entitled to money damages from the United States. The case, brought by Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 against the United States was ordered closed, reported CNN. In Marra's ruling, he refused to fulfill the victims' demand that the government turn over FBI records linked to the Epstein investigation. Brad Edwards, a lawyer for the accusers, said they may appeal. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for justice for every victim of Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplices. We ask You to protect each one, drawing them near to You for healing and salvation.

- He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor. (Psalm 72:4)

6. Andy McCarthy: Manhattan district attorney 'politicizing state law' by going after Trump tax returns - FoxNews

New York authorities are playing a "really dangerous game" by subpoenaing the tax returns of President Trump and the Trump Organization, Fox News contributor Andy McCarthy said Tuesday on "America's Newsroom".

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.'s office reportedly issued the subpoena late last month, seeking the records through the Trump Organization's accounting firm. McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor, said it's legal for tax returns to be subpoenaed under state law, but argued that Vance's decision appears to be politically motivated.

"This is basically an obvious politicizing of state law to try to investigate the president for political purposes. In politics, just like in law, what goes around comes around and this is something that could bite the Democrats if a Democrat is in the White House at some later point," he said, adding that prosecutors will have to show that the subpoena is "relevant" to an investigation and not "political harassment." (Read more)

- Father God, we ask for Your help to defeat those who use the law for their own political and personal benefit.

- Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees
(Isaiah 10:1)

7. Federal judge tosses lawsuit over Southern Poverty Law Center's hate group labels - Washington Times

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson has thrown out a lawsuit that accused leaders of the Southern Poverty Law Center of trying to financially destroy one of the organizations that it has labeled as a hate group.

The The Center for Immigration Studies' accused the Montgomery, Alabama-based law center's leaders of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act when they designated it as a hate group in 2016. The judge, however, said the suit improperly attempts to "shoehorn" a defamation claim into the framework of a RICO case.

The law center's attorneys asked the judge to impose monetary sanctions against the group for filing claims that it said were frivolous and designed to "censor constitutionally protected speech." The law center also argued that the First Amendment barred the suit's claims. Jackson refused to impose sanctions, concluding the lawsuit wasn't "completely frivolous." The judge also said she didn't need to rule on the law center's First Amendment arguments because she found that the suit failed to state a claim under the RICO statute. (Read more)

- Lord, we ask You to remove all unjust judges from our courts.

- Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, iniquity was there. (Ecclesiastes 3:16)

8. Qatar-Funded Group Engages In 'Propagandistic Activities' While Divvying Out Millions To US Schools - Daily Caller

The Washington, D.C.-based Qatar Foundation International (QFI) has disbursed more than $30 million to U.S. public schools to fund Arabic language programs, The Wall Street Journal reported in 2017. The Qatar Foundation has been registered as a foreign principal since 2006 and is tasked with carrying out the vision of the country's royal family.

QFI is not required to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, or FARA, because it says it's strictly an educational organization. Republican lawmakers questioned the Justice Department in June about whether Al Jazeera, which they called a "messaging tool for the Qatari government," should be required to register as a foreign agent of the Middle Eastern nation. Holman also said the Al Jazeera and QFI co-produced video should be considered foreign propaganda.

U.S. public schools that accept QFI's grant money are contractually required to give over a degree of access to the foreign-funded organization, according to a 2013 agreement between QFI and the Tucson Unified School District in Arizona. The contract also stated that Tucson teachers "will be required to organize or facilitate at least 6-8 cultural activities inside and outside of the classroom." (Read more)

- Father God, we pray this campaign by QFI to propagandize our children will be stopped by concerned parents, teachers, administrators, and school board members.

- Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)

9. A Bipartisan House Group Rallies With Farmers for USMCA - Epoch Times

A bipartisan group of lawmakers and farmers from across the country rallied Sept. 12 in the nation's capital for the new free-trade agreement with Mexico and Canada, which will replace the 26-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The Trump administration on Sept. 11 sent the latest proposal to Pelosi to address some of the concerns raised by Democrats about the USMCA. Democrats, who control the House, have called for stronger labor and environmental provisions. "[Pelosi] knows how important it is to America's economy-for consumers, for working people, as well as for farmers, ranchers, and dairyman," he said. "She's from California, the largest agricultural state in the nation."

The leaders of the United States, Canada, and Mexico signed the USMCA in November 2018. The agreement must be approved by lawmakers in all three countries. In June, Mexico became the first country to ratify the new trade deal. The agreement now needs to gain legislative approval in Canada and the United States. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the final USMCA bill will benefit all U.S. citizens, retain our sovereignty, and protect constitutional rights.

- He who is devoid of wisdom despises his neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his peace. (Proverbs 11:12)

10. CA Senate Passes Resolution Telling Pastors to Embrace LGBTQ Beliefs - CBN News California Senate passed a resolution telling Christian clergy to accept and support LGBTQ ideology, even if doing so violates their Christian beliefs. Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99 (ACR-99) was introduced by Democratic state Assemblyman Evan Low of San Jose on June 4 as a way to gather support for LGBTQ identity and behaviors.

More than two dozen doctors, counselors, former homosexuals, and other Christian leaders signed a letter condemning the resolution, which they said violates religious freedom. The resolution also condemns counseling for unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion, known as conversion therapy. "We have actual patients and clients who have benefited from therapy to help them with their unwanted attractions. We've helped them change their lives," Roger Gannam, vice president of legal affairs for Liberty Counsel said.

Supporters of the resolution assert that religious liberty does not apply here as it amounts to discrimination. They also argue that such counseling from faith-based groups is "psychological torture" and "mental health malpractice." (Read more)

- Father God, we lift up Pastors and religious leaders throughout California who honor Your Name and Your creation. Help them have the courage to continue helping those who are falling prey to sexual sin and uphold Your standards.

- Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Matthew 16:24)

Watching prophetic events

It is often said that you cannot stop the march of prophecy, but you can determine your place in it. It seemed that during the past 20 years the prophecy clock moved significantly forward. Israel's enemies are increasingly empowered. We witnessed key prophetic players jockeying for position on the world stage. Turkey has become increasingly radical and is attempting to reestablish the Islamic Caliphate for which it was home base of the Ottoman Empire, lasting some 623 years until 1923. We saw an American president assist in the destabilization of the Middle East through support of Arab Spring and empowering terrorist-sponsoring Iran. Russia stood in the gap for Turkey, Iran, Syria, N. Korea and others.

Then, in 2017, the prophetic clock slowed down a bit, although the events that were set in motion during the previous Administration continued to brew. Iran, for example, continued its expansion into Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. Iran has been attacking oil freighters since June, and now it has attacked Saudi Arabia. It is difficult to completely discern Iran's strategy other than to disrupt oil supplies and perhaps draw the United States into another drawn out war. These things may not make sense to the Western mind. But judging from the events, we may be seeing an acceleration toward the end time prophecies found in Daniel and Ezekiel.

The attacks by Iran may not make sense in that it would appear to the world that Iran has nothing to gain and most everything to lose. But the world is not God. Governments and policies of governments are not God. It doesn't need to make sense for prophecy to advance. The march of prophecy will continue on God's time, not man's time, AND man/countries/religions will determine their place in it. A wonderful clue in this is Ezekiel 38:4, "And I will turn you back, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords." Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Sudan), Libya (Libya and NW Africa) with Magog, Meshach and Tubal (all in Turkey).

The Lord will "put hooks" in their jaws and bring them forth. Iran may have strong delusion that it will be the Islamic Caliphate and rule over the Middle East. It has been working in that direction through its armies and its terrorist sponsorship. Iranian leaders may believe they have a shot at ruling the world, eliminating Israel from the face of the earth, or even controlling the world's oil supply and bringing all to submission of Shiite Islam. But this may just be the prophetic process of bringing Iran into submission to Turkey for those end time events. As we watch and pray, let us discern the times and seek the Holy Spirit for guidance and wisdom. Do not fear, but be excited and expecting of the Lord!

Have a blessed and powerful day,

Classic Hymns

MARCHING TO ZION

"Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion." (Jeremiah 31:6)

Lyrics

Come, we that love the Lord, And let our joys be known; Join in a song with sweet accord, Join in a song with sweet accord And thus surround the throne, And thus surround the throne.

Refrain

We're marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We're marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.

The sorrows of the mind Be banished from the place; Religion never was designed Religion never was designed, To make our pleasures less, To make our pleasures less.

Refrain

Let those refuse to sing, Who never knew our God; But favorites of the heavenly King, But favorites of the heavenly King May speak their joys abroad, May speak their joys abroad.

Refrain

The God that rules on high, And thunders when He please, Who rides upon the stormy sky, Who rides upon the stormy sky, And manages the seas, And manages the seas.

Refrain

This awful God is ours, Our Father and our Love; He will send down his heav'nly powers, He will send down his heav'nly powers, To carry us above, To carry us above.

Refrain

There we shall see His face, And never, never sin! There, from the rivers of His grace, There, from the rivers of His grace, Drink endless pleasures in, Drink endless pleasures in.

Refrain

Yea, and before we rise, To that immortal state, The thoughts of such amazing bliss, The thoughts of such amazing bliss, Should constant joys create, Should constant joys create.

Refrain

The men of grace have found, Glory begun below. Celestial fruits on earthly ground Celestial fruits on earthly ground From faith and hope may grow, From faith and hope may grow.

Refrain

The hill of Zion yields A thousand sacred sweets Before we reach the heav'nly fields, Before we reach the heav'nly fields, Or walk the golden streets, Or walk the golden streets.

Refrain

Then let our songs abound, And every tear be dry; We're marching through Immanuel's ground, We're marching through Immanuel's ground, To fairer worlds on high, To fairer worlds on high.

Triple threat: Tropical Storm Imelda swamps Texas, Humberto nears Bermuda and TD 10 forms in Atlantic

A trio of tropical threats has emerged in the Atlantic basin, and forecasters are keeping a close watch.

Tropical Storm Imelda threatens to swamp portions of southeastern Texas with more than a foot of rain this week, possibly leading to dangerous, life-threatening flash floods.

Although the storm officially made landfall Tuesday afternoon, enough rainfall is still forecast to cause significant street, highway and low-lying area flooding along the Gulf Coast of Texas, AccuWeather said. This includes the cities of Beaumont, Houston, Galveston, Matagorda, Victoria and Corpus Christi, Texas.

"Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour and potentially saturated soils from the precipitation that falls today will continue the threat of flash flooding into Thursday," the National Weather Service in Houston said Tuesday.

A flash flood watch has been posted across the entire Houston metro area, the weather service said. . .

Hurricane Humberto

Bermuda was under a hurricane warning on Tuesday night as Humberto strengthened to a Category 3 major hurricane and closed in on the tiny island.

"Humberto is likely to track near Bermuda by later Wednesday, potentially bringing strong winds, battering surf and heavy rain," the Weather Channel said. . .

Tropical Depression Ten

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Ten formed Tuesday morning in the central Atlantic Ocean about halfway between Africa and South America, the hurricane center said. It was located 1,110 miles from the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean.

The system should become Tropical Storm Jerry in the next day or so and track north of the Caribbean islands as a hurricane by the weekend. The depression is still too far away for forecasters to determine whether it will have any impact on the United States. (USA Today) Read more.

Native American Evangelist Says Prophecies Are Coming True:

Revival Is Breaking Out for a 'World Longing for Light Again'

"The Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world..." -Crazy Horse's 1877 Prophecy

Evangelist and Pastor Dr. Negiel Bigpond says he believes that Billy Graham's 1975 prediction of Native Americans becoming a "spiritual superpower" to change the world is coming true. On The Jim Bakker Show, Bigpond referenced both Graham's comments as well as an 1877 prophecy by Crazy Horse, leader of the Oglala Lakota Sioux from 1840-1877.

"He said, 'The Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world,'" Bigpond says. "Now listen to this. This is 1877. 'A sick world, a world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations, a world longing for light again.' I believe that that's where we're at now."

Bigpond says he has been preaching health, wealth and miracles on reservations across the country, and that he is working to prepare the nation for revival and healing.

"That's what we're seeing on the reservations," Bigpond says. "That's what we're trying to bring out, is that healing power, that forgiveness, that unity, and also to bring forth the gifts so we can start seeing great revival. There's great things happening on reservations. As dim as it looks, God still shows up."
