1. Israel's Foreign Minister to Announce Plan for all World Embassies to Move to Jerusalem - Breaking Israel News

The Israeli government is preparing an official initiative, including an incentive package, to encourage countries to relocate their embassies to Jerusalem. Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz will soon present a proposal to the Cabinet to designate the transfer of embassies to Jerusalem as a "national, diplomatic and strategic objective of the highest order."

When Katz began his tenure as foreign minister in February 2019, he learned there were countries that agreed in principle to open embassies in Jerusalem, but sought reciprocal measures from Israel. For example, Honduras and El Salvador have agreed to open embassies in Jerusalem but want Israel to open full diplomatic missions in their respective capitals in return-a move which hasn't been forthcoming on Israel's part.

Other countries have requested developmental and economic aid from Israel, while also hoping such a move would open doors in the United Sates and have even asked Israel to help pay for the relocation to Jerusalem. In these cases, too, there has been little to no Israeli follow-up, which has stalled progress on the matter.

2. Palestinians Have 'Halted' All Agreements With Israel, Says Abbas- Jerusalem Post

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas announced on Thursday that the Palestinian leadership has decided to "halt" all agreements signed with Israel.

Abbas reached out to Hamas, offering to end the dispute between the movement and his ruling Fatah faction.

"We announce the leadership's decision to stop dealing with agreements signed with the Israeli side," Abbas said during an emergency meeting of PA leaders in Ramallah.

3. Israel, U.S. Carry Out Successful Test Of Arrow-3 Missile Over Alaska - Jerusalem Post

In the face of Iran's continued development of long-range missiles, Israel and the United States completed a series of tests of the long-range Arrow 3 ballistic missile defense system at the Pacific Spaceport Complex-Alaska (PSCA) in Kodiak, Alaska, which included the successful interception of an "enemy" target.

The series of tests over the course of 10 days saw three successful interceptions. It was the first time that such a test took place outside of Israel. The successful test was attended by Israel's ambassador to the US, Ron Dermer.

The system was tested against targets similar in behavior to advanced ballistic missiles being developed by Iran, and against future threats that Israel may face. Israel and the US remain concerned that Iran has continued to work on both its nuclear program as well as its ballistic missile program, despite international criticism.

The series of experiments successfully demonstrated the missile's capability against exo-atmospheric targets. An American AN-TPY2 radar participated in the test and successfully demonstrated operational connectivity between the systems.

4. Dermer Travels Secretly To Alaska For Mysterious Trip - Report- Jerusalem Post

Israeli Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer traveled secretly to Alaska last week to discuss sensitive Issues dealing with US-Israel security cooperation and Iran.

Channel 13's Barak Ravid first reported on the visit Friday night and quoted unnamed Israeli officials as saying this was not a usual diplomatic visit to one of the US states, but rather a "much more important and even dramatic" trip.

According to the report, the visit was concerning an issue "at the core of the US-Israel security relationship" and has to deal with cooperation regarding the threat from Iran.

Dermer's trip came in the same week when Iran reportedly tested a Shahab-3 missile that has the capability of carrying a nuclear warhead. According to a New York Times report, that missile was launched from southern Iran and flew 1,100 km., landing east of Tehran.

6. Israeli minister: Anti-BDS House resolution has one major flaw - World Israel News

Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Ze'ev Elkin avoided congratulating the U.S. House of Representatives last week on its passing of an anti-BDS resolution because it included language supporting the creation of a Palestinian state.

In an interview with Dov Eichler of Kan Israel Radio, Elkin expressed a mixed reaction to House Resolution 246, which passed overwhelmingly, 398-17, with five abstentions.

"You know my personal opinion is that a Palestinian state is not the solution, it's the problem - even the source of the problem, so I'm not enthusiastic about this resolution," he said. (Read more)

7. Will Christian Repentance on the 9th of Av Help Bring Redemption?- Times of Israel

Beginning last year and continuing in a dramatically expanded way this year, there is a movement in the Christian world to use Tisha B'Av to repent for the atrocities committed against the Jewish people in the name of Christianity over the past two millennia.

Rabbi Tuly Weisz believes that Christian repentance holds a key to reversing the tragic associations of Tisha B'Av and turning it from a fast day into a feast day for the Jewish people. (Read More)

The Daily Brief

1. Trump says Dems 'created this phony crime' with obstruction claims, in 'Hannity' interview - FoxNews

President Trump lashed out at Democrats following former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's testimony on Capitol Hill, telling Fox News' Sean Hannity on Thursday night the Democrats "created this phony crime" by accusing him of obstruction of justice. "This should never happen to another president of the United States again," Trump said. "This is an absolute catastrophe for our country. This was a fake witch hunt."

When asked by lawmakers whether or not the findings of the nearly two-year-long Russia investigation truly exonerated the president, Mueller testified before two House committees on Wednesday afternoon, answering, "No." During his testimony, Mueller denied Trump's assertions that the investigation was a "witch hunt" and insinuated that the Trump campaign welcomed Russian aid to help them win the 2016 election. Still, the former special prosecutor reiterated what was laid out in his report, saying, "we did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime."

"This was treason. This was high crimes. This was everything as bad a definition you want to come up with," Trump said of the investigation. (Read more)

- Father God, we cry out to You to bring down to nothing every lie that the enemy has brought about President Trump. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "Behold, all they that were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with you shall perish." (Isaiah 41:11)

2. Former Fed Prosecutor: Trump Was Right; Mueller Didn't Run His Own Investigation - The Western Journal

For former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, the biggest loser from former special counsel Robert Mueller's appearances on Capitol Hill on Wednesday might have been Mueller's probe itself.

Mueller's demeanor, and evident unfamiliarity with the contents of the report on the Russia "collusion" investigation, had McCarthy pointing out the probe was clearly "staff-driven" and not run by Mueller at all. That raises questions about who was really in charge of the investigation into events surrounding the 2016 presidential election.

Among other problems with Mueller's testimony, McCarthy pointed out that Mueller appeared to be unfamiliar with Fusion GPS, the political research firm that was ultimately behind the largely debunked Steele dossier that accused the Trump campaign of collusion - a basic character to anyone who has followed the investigation. "I never had an investigation in my life where you didn't need to know how the agents collected the information in your investigation," McCarthy said. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that the total truth is revealed regarding the shadow government's control over this entire report on the Russia collusion propaganda investigation, to prevent President Trump from becoming president of the United States. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word. Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion."
(Isaiah 41:28-29)

3. Federal government to resume capital punishment, schedule executions for first time since 2003 - FoxNews

The Justice Department said Attorney General Bill Barr has directed the Federal Bureau of Prisons to adopt a proposed addendum to the Federal Execution Protocol that will clear the way for the executions. Barr has also directed the bureau of prisons to schedule the executions of five death-row inmates.

"Congress has expressly authorized the death penalty through legislation adopted by the people's representatives in both houses of Congress and signed by the President," Barr said in a statement.

He added: "Under administrations of both parties, the Department of Justice has sought the death penalty against the worst criminals, including these five murderers, each of whom was convicted by a jury of his peers after a full and fair proceeding. The Justice Department upholds the rule of law-and we owe it to the victims and their families to carry forward the sentence imposed by our justice system." (Read more)

- Father God, we trust that capital punishment again being adopted to the Federal Execution Protocol will have a great impact of healing upon the families of the victims. Bless the Justice Department as they uphold this rule of law. In the Name of Jesus.

- "Whoso sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man." (Genesis 9:6)

4. Russian Oligarch Wants Mueller To Pay Back $25 Million He Gave Him After "Testimony Tantrum" Ends - The Impious Digest

Multi-billionaire Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska-the 597th richest person in the world who, in 2009, gave then FBI Director Mueller a little under $25 million to conduct a secret negotiation with Iran to free captured CIA-FBI agent Robert Levinson.

FBI Director Mueller deliberately violated a US federal law known as the Antideficiency Act that prohibits federal agencies from accepting voluntary services-which Mueller ignored by his pleading with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to spend over $25 million of his personal monies to pay for Levinson's release-money in addition to Deripaska dispatching his own private jet to Iran to pick Levinson.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton [scuttled the plan] when she refused to issue a statement absolving the Iranian government of any responsibility for Levinson's spying actions and capture - thus causing Deripaska to order his private jet back to Moscow - and left Levinson to disappear forever, along with Deripaska's millions. 5. Dem-led House clears Trump-backed budget and debt limit package, most Republicans oppose - FoxNews

House lawmakers on Thursday approved a budget and debt deal that President Trump had endorsed, although most Republicans voted against the package.

While not funding the government, the measure would stave off another government shutdown by permitting the Treasury to borrow freely to pay the government's bills and solidify recent budget gains for military and domestic programs.

The measure would tackle two big items on Washington's agenda: increasing the debt limit through 2021, thus averting a default on U.S. payments, and setting overall spending limits to prevent $125 billion in automatic spending cuts from hitting military and domestic programs, with 10 percent cuts beginning in January. The legislation is expected to be sent to the Senate for approval before it is sent to President Trump's desk. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said the Senate will consider the plan next week. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that the wisdom of God will cover all these financial matters in our government's spending so that You will take charge and everything be done according to God's knowledge and not man's. Route out the evil and bring in the good. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things." (Proverbs 28:5)

6. ICE DIRECTOR: CONGRESS IS SETTING US UP FOR FAILURE - IFA Pray

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Matthew Albence told reporters Tuesday that Congress is setting the agency up for failure as it tries to enforce targeted enforcement actions.

Albence spoke during a teleconference call with reporters to discuss the recent ICE operations that are targeting 2,000 illegal immigrants with deportation orders. "There's not just a humanitarian crisis," Albence said. "There's a public safety crisis - it's a border security crisis. Congress is kind of setting us up for failure on some of these issues."

Albence also hit back at reports that referred to the operation as raids. "Calling these 'raids' does a disservice to everybody that's involved in this process," Albence said Tuesday. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we trust You to take all 2,000 illegal immigrants and safely send them back to their homeland. Put the Blood of Jesus over the entire immigration issue. Stretch out Your hand to prevent the destructive acts of those promoting more and more illegal aliens from arriving at our borders. Let God arise and our enemies be scattered. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "For innumerable evils have compassed us about: our iniquities have taken hold upon us, so that we are not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of our head: therefore our hearts fail us. Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver us: O Lord, make haste to help us." (Psalm 40:12-13)

7. 16 Marines arrested on accusations ranging from human smuggling to drugs, officials say - Fox News

The U.S. Marine Corps said in a news release that 16 Marines were arrested during a Battalion formation at Camp Pendleton in California. All are members of the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, between ranks of E-2 and E4 (PFC-Corporal), a spokeswoman told Fox News, adding that none of the Marines officially has been charged. None of the Marines arrested or detained to questioning on Thursday were serving in support of the ongoing Southwest Border Support mission, the Marine Corps said. "1st Marine Division is committed to justice and the rule of law, and we will continue to fully cooperate with Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) on this matter," officials said in a statement.

Earlier this month, two Camp Pendleton-based Marines were arrested and accused of transporting illegal immigrants for money, according to a federal complaint obtained by Fox 5. The Marines, Byron Darnell Law II and David Javier Salazar-Quintero, were arrested on July 3 in east San Diego County and face one felony count of seeking monetary compensation for moving unauthorized immigrants into the country after they had crossed the border, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported at the time. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we trust that all those who are guilty of breaking U.S. Marine Corps laws will be called up to face the charges for which they are guilty and be punished. We bind lawlessness off our military, from the highest to the least by the power of God. In Jesus' Name we do pray.

- "Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about Him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people." (Psalm 50:3-4)

8. Rand Paul Says Omar Is 'Ungrateful as You Can Get,' Offers To Pay for Somalia Trip - Western Journal

"I hear Representative Omar say, 'Oh, America is a terrible place. I thought there'd be justice and there's no justice here,'" he said. "It's like, she came here and we fed her, we clothed her, she got welfare, she got school, she got health care, and then lo and behold she has the honor of actually winning a seat in Congress, and she says we're a terrible country. I think that's about as ungrateful as you can get."

"So while I'm not saying we forcibly send her anywhere, I'm willing to contribute to buy her a ticket to go visit Somalia," Paul said, "and I think she could look and maybe learn a little about bit about the disaster that is Somalia, that has no capitalism, has no God-given rights guaranteed in a Constitution and has about seven different tribes that have been fighting each other for the last 40 years.

"And then maybe after she's visited Somalia for a while, she might come back and appreciate America more." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we look to our Lord in heaven to observe the ingratitude of those from another country who are in our political arena. We pray for Omar to recognize the opportunity that America has given her. We pray her eyes be opened to the kindness of the Lord which leads to repentance. We pray in the victorious Name of Jesus.

- "Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God's kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking-seek His purpose for your life]?" (Romans 2:4) Amp

9. Fallen Officers Memorial Covered up and Taken Down Because It Mentioned God - CBN News

A memorial marker honoring fallen police officers in Tega Cay, SC recently stirred a huge controversy because it mentioned God - then God was removed, kicking off another fight. Tega Cay City Manager Charlie Funderburk told CBN News, "There was polarization on both sides of the discussion. It was in everyone's best interest to remove the marker and place it in storage." The memorial stone was erected at the local police station on July 12, but city officials modified it to cover up all mentions of God after offended residents flooded their office with complaints.

Originally, the back of the marker was inscribed with a scriptural message where the word "Lord" was used three times. The marker was also engraved with the Bible verse Matthew 5:9. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that the faithful few who currently have Jesus in their hearts, will stand up and honor the God of heaven who created everything, the earth, the universe, galaxies, stars, moon, sun and man. Father, silence the blasphemous insults and hatred toward God from having a voice that changes our God-honoring American beliefs. We pray in the holy Name of Jesus our Savior.

- "You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that takes His Name in vain." (Exodus 20:7)

10. Democrats Are Launching "News" Outlets to Turn Swing State Voters Against Trump - Vice News

One of the [Democrat] party's largest Super PACs is finally pulling the trigger on a $100 million plan to help boot Trump from office. Priorities USA is planning to flood swing states - many of which have lost their local papers - with stories favorable to the Democratic agenda.

Four "news" outlets staffed by Democratic operatives will publish state-specific information across social media in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Wisconsin. The idea is to convince voters that Trump's economy isn't working for them.

Priorities brought its ads team in-house to respond more quickly to news cycles and push out a greater volume of content across Facebook, Google, and elsewhere. It'll face off with a Trump re-election effort that has put nearly $13 million into digital ads so far this year, far more than any of its potential rivals. (Read more)

Look Inside The Secret Service's Command SUVs That Are Being Converted For Special Ops Use

These "Roadrunners" will now support special operators during crisis response missions in the United States and elsewhere in North America.

Special Operations Command North, or SOCNORTH, is in the process of converting six Chevy Suburban sport utility vehicles to better meet the needs of its Crisis Response Team. The White House Communications Agency had previously used these already heavily modified "Roadrunners" to provide critical command and control and communications support for presidential motorcades, something you can read about in great detail in this past War Zone feature. We now have pictures of the outside and inside of these SUVs that offer a unique look at their previous lives and future roles.
Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), which is managing the vehicle modification contract for SOCNORTH, posted the set of photos on the U.S. government's main contracting website FedBizOpps on July 24, 2019. The headquarters for AFSPC, SOCNORTH, and U.S. Northern Command are all at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado. The six Roadrunners are presently there and the Air Force says it would prefer whichever contractor it hires to do the work on the base, though it is willing to consider offers from companies wishing to use facilities up to 80 miles away.
. . . When fully modified, the SUVs look set to provide an important set of capabilities as the CRT continues to expand and evolve to take on greater responsibilities both within the United States and elsewhere in North America. (Read many more details of this technical report here.)

'It snuck up on us': Scientists stunned by 'city-killer' asteroid that just missed Earth

Alan Duffy was confused. On Thursday, the astronomer's phone was suddenly flooded with calls from reporters wanting to know about a large asteroid that had just whizzed past Earth, and he couldn't figure out "why everyone was so alarmed."

"I thought everyone was getting worried about something we knew was coming," Duffy, who is lead scientist at the Royal Institution of Australia, told The Washington Post. Forecasts had already predicted that a couple of asteroids would be passing relatively close to Earth this week.

Then, he looked up the details of the hunk of space rock named Asteroid 2019 OK.

"I was stunned," he said. "This was a true shock."

This asteroid wasn't one that scientists had been tracking, and it had seemingly appeared from "out of nowhere," Michael Brown, a Melbourne-based observational astronomer, told The Washington Post. According to data from NASA, the craggy rock was large, an estimated 57 to 130 meters wide (187 to 427 feet), and moving fast along a path that brought it within about 73,000 kilometers (45,000 miles) of Earth. That's less than one-fifth of the distance to the moon and what Duffy considers "uncomfortably close."

"It snuck up on us pretty quickly," said Brown, an associate professor in Australia with Monash University's School of Physics and Astronomy. He later noted, "People are only sort of realizing what happened pretty much after it's already flung past us." (Washington Post) Read more.

Jesus loves me-this I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong-
They are weak, but He is strong.

Refrain

Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me-He who died
Heaven's gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.

Refrain

Jesus loves me-loves me still,
Though I'm very weak and ill;
From His shining throne on high
Comes to watch me where I lie.

Close beside me all the way,
Then His little child will take
Up to Heaven for His dear sake.
