1. CNN Analyst Admits Trump is Right About Immigration: 'It Pains Me to Say This' - Conservative Tribune

Stop the presses and mark the date on the calendar, because history has just been made: A liberal CNN analyst just admitted that President Donald Trump might be right about something.

On Sunday, Fareed Zakaria begrudgingly admitted that the president had a point about the broken asylum system, which is part of the ongoing immigration problem. The Indian-born journalist is no fan of conservatives and certainly not of Trump, making his statement a bit of a surprise.

"It pains me to say this, but he is right, that the United States faces a crisis with its asylum system," Zakaria said.

The commentator's use of the word "crisis" to describe the immigration problem is also noteworthy, considering how much of the establishment media have refused to use the term and even mocked Republicans for worrying about the border. (Read more)


2. Trump Unloads on Democrats over Border Crisis; Illegal Aliens Will Now Be FINED - Restoring Liberty

President Donald Trump slammed Democrats on Wednesday for not helping to address the crux of the problem with the crisis on the southern border and suggested that Democratic lawmakers were lying about what they saw during their visit to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility this week.

"Our Border Patrol people are not hospital workers, doctors or nurses. The Democrats bad Immigration Laws, which could be easily fixed, are the problem. Great job by Border Patrol, above and beyond," Trump tweeted. "Many of these illegals aliens are living far better now than where they came from, and in far safer conditions. No matter how good things actually look, even if perfect, the Democrat visitors will act shocked & aghast at how terrible things are. Just Pols. If they really want to fix them, change the Immigration Laws and Loopholes. So easy to do!" (Read more)


3. Tlaib Had a Sudden Awakening and Now Understands What Border Patrol Agents Have Said for Years - Restoring Liberty

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Wednesday spoke with CNN's Wolf Blitzer about the Democratic caucus' trip to the southern border, where they toured multiple facilities in Texas. What's interesting though, is Tlaib said exactly what Border Patrol agents have been saying for years.

"I can tell you that the couple of agents that have taken me aside were imploring me to please, report back what's happening here because they don't want any part of it anymore," Tlaib explained. "And they do actually feel like it's making us less safe because they're not at the border. You know, in their eyes, they're not social workers. They're not supposed to be watching over 4-year-olds, you know, some nine and 10 year olds. These are not agents that are equipped to taking care of them and throwing money at it is not going to fix it." (Read more)


4. Hispanic pastors tour border facility lambasted by AOC and say they are 'shocked by misinformation' - Fox News

Rev. Samuel Rodriguez was "full of indignation" when he saw the reports and heard from politicians about the deplorable and inhumane conditions for illegal immigrants at an El Paso County, Texas migrant detention center. But what he saw at the same facility toured by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. with a group of pastors was "drastically different."

"I read the reports, saw the news clips. I just wanted to see what was actually happening in order to better enable our efforts to find a fair and a just solution to our broken immigration system," Rodriguez, who has advised President Trump and both Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush on immigration reform, noted. "To my surprise, I saw something drastically different from the stories I've been hearing in our national discourse. Even as a veteran of immigration advocacy in the U.S., I was shocked at the misinformation of the crisis at the border." (Read more)


5. Hispanic evangelical group offers to house migrant children in churches - Religion News Service

The head of the largest Hispanic evangelical Christian network in the United States announced it will offer to work with the Trump administration to provide resources and shelter to migrant children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

Speaking during a call with reporters Monday (July 1), the Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, said his organization plans to launch a campaign to offer aid to immigrant children held in detention centers at the border.

The effort, which organizers are calling the "For His Children" campaign, will involve sending "shipments and cargo and truckloads of resources to the border," including shoes, clothing and hygiene products, Rodriguez said.

When a Religion News Service reporter asked if the campaign would involve churches providing shelter or foster homes for migrant children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, Rodriguez said yes. "That's part of what we have in the rollout of the campaign," he said. "It's part of it." (Read more)


6. BUSTED! Video confirms Ocasio-Cortez faked her crying incident - World Net Daily

A newly surfaced video confirms photos that indicate Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was crying in front of an empty parking lot, not [in front of] suffering migrant children, during a 2018 event outside a migrant tent city that she spotlighted this week via Twitter.

Previously, photos showing the freshman congresswoman crying and covering her face with her hand suggested she was reacting to the sight of inhumane treatment of migrant children by immigration authorities.

But photos from different angles indicate she was facing an empty parking lot and police officers. (Read more)


7. Border Patrol Union President Fires Back Against Ocasio-Cortez's 'Ridiculous' Accusations - Western Journal

The president of the National Border Patrol Council shot back at New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Monday, saying she was "lying" about a recent trip to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility.

In a recent interview with Breitbart News Tonight, Brandon Judd called Ocasio-Cortez's claims "a baseless and ridiculous allegation."

The Democratic representative posted a series of tweets on Monday laying out a list of atrocities she claimed to have seen at a CBP facility including seeing detainees drinking from the toilets. (Read more)

9. Tijuana Authorities Investigating Migrant Groups Trying to Buy Children to Cross into the United States - San Diego Union-Tribune

"Some migrants in Tijuana are trying to purchase children from vulnerable single mothers in local shelters so they can more easily cross into the United States, according to shelter directors, migrants and Tijuana law enforcement authorities," Wendy Fry reports for The San Diego Union-Tribune.

"U.S. border authorities have been warning since June 2018 about people fraudulently using children who aren't theirs to pose as family units and gain entry into the United States a claim that critics said was overblown.

But now, authorities in Tijuana are warning migrant mothers to keep their children close by and supervised, after reports of men offering to purchase migrant children in order to cross."

"I can't go to work because I can't take my eyes off my boys," a migrant from Honduras says. "They want to rob our kids so they can cross into the United States." (Read more)


10. REPORT: President of El Salvador Says His Nation - NOT UNITED STATES - to Blame for Migrant Crisis - Sean Hannity

The newly elected President of El Salvador weighed-in on his region's escalating migrant crisis Monday; saying local countries -not the United States- are to blame for the current border surge. "The new president of El Salvador on Monday took responsibility for the June deaths of a father and daughter who drowned crossing the Rio Grande in a bid to reach the United States, saying the onus is on his government to make the country a safer place - and one where migration is 'an option, not an obligation,'" reports Fox News. 11. Trump revives ICE raid threat, blasts judge who ruled against border wall - Fox News

President Trump vowed Saturday to "immediately" appeal a judge's ruling blocking funding for his border wall, while reviving threats to proceed with stalled deportation raids as soon as a week from now.

His administration, just after notching a win with the passage of a $4.6 billion bill to address the humanitarian crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border, was dealt a blow Friday when a California judge barred Trump from tapping $2.5 billion in military funding to build high-priority segments of the border wall in California, Arizona and New Mexico. Judge Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr. in Oakland acted in two lawsuits filed by California and by activists who contended the money transfer was unlawful and construction would pose environmental threats.

"We're immediately appealing it and we think we'll win the appeal," Trump said at his press conference, calling the decision a disgrace. "There was no reason that that should have happened."

Meanwhile, the president made clear that despite the passage of the aid package in Congress, he plans to move forward with controversial Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids absent a deal on reforming the asylum process, which he described as unlikely.

"We will be removing large numbers of people . . . starting in a week after, you know, sometime after July 4th," Trump said. (Read more)


12. 9th Circuit Refuses Trump Request to Block Judge's Ruling to Stop Military Funds for Border Wall - Restoring Liberty

An appeals court denied the Trump administration's emergency request to block a federal judge's ruling that prevents President Trump from using $2.5 billion in military funds to build a wall along the southern border.

In a 2-1 ruling, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit said in an opinion that "a stay of the district court's order granting Plaintiffs an injunction is not warranted."

The Justice Department appealed after U.S. District Court Judge Haywood Gilliam, who is an appointee of former President Barack Obama, ruled to permanently block the $2.5 billion after issuing a temporary injunction in May to stop the administration's use of the funds. The ruling stymied several construction projects in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. (Read more)


Focus on Israel

1. Israel targets Gaza-bound weapon shipments in Sinai - Israel Hayom

In recent months, Israel has bombed several trucks in the Sinai Peninsula carrying weapons and missiles bound for terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip, according to an exclusive report in i24NEWS.

Palestinian sources said that from November until the end of May, the Israeli Air Force has targeted three trucks, including one carrying a shipment of Iranian missiles bound for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad discovered in March.

The trucks, carrying missiles, weapons, and highly explosive materials, were on their way to Gaza after being transferred through arms dealers in Libya, where they had been sold to Hamas and other terrorist groups by Palestinian intermediaries in various countries.

Israel is reportedly leading a large intelligence operation in the Sinai to prevent the arrival of weapons and money to Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in Gaza through smuggling tunnels.

In recent years, Israel has bombed more than 13 tunnels dug by Hamas and PIJ in an effort to bring money, weapons, rockets, and materials to develop rockets and other explosives into the terrorist enclave.

2. Second 'son of Hamas' leaves terror group, exposing corruption, Turkish spy ring - Times of Israel

It isn't every day that a Hamas member turns his back on the terror organization, flies to Southeast Asia and decides to expose the corruption and inner workings of its operations in Turkey in an interview with an Israeli TV journalist.

It's even more incredible when he's the son of one of Hamas's founding members. And it's almost unthinkable when he's the second of that founder's sons to escape the clutches of the Islamist group and go public with his story. According to an interview broadcast Wednesday on Israel's Channel 12, that's exactly what happened.

Suheib Yousef - son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, and brother of Mosab Yousef, who became know as the "Green Prince" for his efforts to help the Shin Bet thwart terror attacks - secretly left his post in Turkey and flew to an unnamed country in Asia.

3. Abbas, PA Economy Minister, 'Ready to Sever All Ties with Israel' - Jewish Press

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday announced that he is ready to sever all ties with Israel if it continues to refuse to honor its agreements, WAFA reported.

Abbas was speaking to reporters at his Ramallah Muqata headquarters.

"If Israel does not abide by the agreements, we are going to cancel them all," Abbas said in response to a question about reports that the Palestinian Authority may collapse under its financial troubles. Those troubles have resulted from the PA's refusal to accept Israel's withholding of millions of dollars in clearance revenues to offset the salaries paid to terrorists behind bars. Abbas decided back in February that it's all or nothing, and now, like the nice reporter said, the PA is collapsing.

4. Netanyahu: Israel preparing for wide-scale campaign in Gaza - Jerusalem Post

Israel wants to restore calm to the South, but at the same time is preparing for a wide-scale military campaign inside the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday.

Netanyahu's comments came after he convened a security cabinet meeting at the IDF Gaza Division headquarters to discuss the situation in the Strip, followed by a meeting with local and regional council heads, some of whom left the meeting in protest.

"Our policy is clear: we want to restore the calm, but at the same time we are preparing for a large-scale military operation, if such an action is required," Netanyahu said. "Those are my instructions to the army."

5. DNA shows that the Philistines, arch-enemy of the Israelites, came from Europe - World Israel News

A study to determine the place of origin of the Philistines has shown that "a substantial proportion of their ancestry was derived from a European population," according to the international team from the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History and the Leon Levy Expedition to Ashkelon.

DNA extracted from the remains of 10 individuals buried in Ashkelon, along Israel's southern Mediterranean coast where the Philistines were known to be based, displayed molecular links which "showed an affinity with European-related populations," say the researchers.

Using advanced technology, the researchers analyzed genome-wide data that had been retrieved from people who lived in Ashkelon during the Bronze and Iron Age. The European-derived ancestry that was discovered by the team was said to have been introduced into the Ashkelon area around the time of the estimated arrival of the Philistines in the 12th century BCE.

A paper by the researchers was published Wednesday in Science Advances magazine.

"This genetic distinction is due to European-related gene flow introduced in Ashkelon during either the end of the Bronze Age or the beginning of the Iron Age. This timing is in accord with estimates of the Philistines' arrival to the coast of the Levant, based on archaeological and textual records," explains Michal Feldman of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History, leading author of the study.

1. Air Force chief details US response to Russian nuclear attack - Fox News

Red lights start flashing in rapid succession, space-based infrared sensors detect a heat signature, somebody calls the President . . . and in what may seem like a matter of seconds, the U.S. launches an immediate, massive counterattack. F-35s, B-2 bombers, nuclear-armed Navy submarines, missile-armed destroyers, Ground Based Interceptors and satellites -- are all instantly thrust into action. Why?

2. F-22 Raptors Deployed . . . Trump Isn't Messing Around - The Western Journal

As tensions continue to rise between the United States and the "Death to America" rulers of Tehran, the Trump administration has positioned some of the U.S. military's most advanced fighter planes in the region.

3. House Committee Sues Trump Again - Arkansas Democrat Gazette

The House sued the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service on Tuesday, demanding access to President Donald Trump's tax returns and escalating a fight with an administration that has repeatedly dismissed as illegitimate its attempt to obtain the financial records.

The lawsuit moves the dispute into the federal courts after months of sniping between the Democratic-led House Ways and Means Committee, which requested and then subpoenaed the returns, and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. The case may ultimately go to the Supreme Court, and its outcome is likely to determine whether financial information that Trump has kept closely guarded despite long-standing presidential tradition will be viewed by Congress and, ultimately, the public. 4. U.S. (Democrats') Backup Plan Launched 'to Force People of Faith to Abandon Beliefs - Restoring Liberty

Democrats in Congress already have staged a massive campaign to promote their Equality Act, which would impose the LGBT agenda on churches and faith-based organizations.

But now they're working on a backup plan should the aggressive Equality Act fail.

It's named the Do No Harm Act, but it would destroy protections for the exercise of religion by changing the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The bill would make the exercise of religion in public life subservient to LGBT rights in all cases. (Read more)

5. Dems plan 'end run' to push transgenders in uniform - OneNewsNow

U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) is sponsoring an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2020 that would codify the addition of "gender identity" to military equal opportunity non-discrimination categories such as race, color, national origin and religion.

Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, says far-left Democrats are attempting an "end run" around Trump's policies that have angered Capitol Hill, LGBT activists, and LGBT allies in the Pentagon. Donnelly hopes Congress will remove this amendment from the NDAA or else Trump would be forced to veto the entire bill, starting the entire defense spending bill all over again.

According to Donnelly, the Democrats are pushing through "bizarre" measures that get passed in the Democrat-controlled House but get stopped in the GOP-controlled Senate. "But then there are a few Republicans who have not thought this issue through," she says. "They haven't thought about the consequences of including gender identity as an official non-discrimination factor." (Read more)

6. #PurpleforParents Defeats #RedforEd in Arizona State Board Victory on Sex Ed Standards - Breitbart

A grassroots parents group won a victory over the #RedforEd movement and the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network in Arizona last week as the State Board of Education dropped plans to introduce new sex education standards for public K-12 schools supported by those liberal groups.

Monday's decision is most immediately a defeat for Sen. Martin Quezada, D-Glendale, and allies on the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network that sought to remove verbiage that now bans the teaching of "abnormal, deviate or unusual sexual acts and practices." Instead, that proposal sought to spell out that sex education instruction must be "medically and scientifically accurate" and that courses provide "medically accurate instruction" on methods to prevent the transmission of disease.

More than half a dozen members of the grassroots parents group #PurpleforParents, clad in purple, addressed the State Board of Education as they considered the proposed language change in the standards at Monday's meeting. #PurpleforParents prevailed, and the State Board of Education voted not to change the standards. 7. Human trafficking in America among worst in world: report - FoxNews

The United States is again ranked as one of the worst countries in the world for human trafficking. According to a recently released report by the State Department, the top three nations of origin for victims of human trafficking in 2018 were the United States, Mexico and the Philippines.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered the Trafficking in Persons report, which is created annually by the State Department to document human trafficking in the year prior, and highlighted the growing focus that government agencies and nonprofit organizations have dedicated to stopping human trafficking.

If there's one takeaway from our reporting, it's that the industry is fueled by an unceasing demand. It's here that officers focus their enforcement actions. And it's where advocates focus their education efforts to end the illicit trade. "So there are tremendous numbers of kids, a multitude of kids that are being sold as sex slaves today in America. These are American kids, American-born, 50 percent to 60 percent of them coming out of the foster care industry."

This assertion is confirmed by the State Department's report, which found that children in foster care, homeless youth, undocumented immigrant children and those with substance abuse problems were especially at risk to fall into the human trafficking trap. (Read more)

8. Bozell: Facebook Move Gives ACLU, 90 Left-Wing Groups 'Power Over Every Post a Conservative Makes' - CNS News

On Sunday, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg announced the company's latest efforts to institutionalize the demands of 90 left-wing organizations into the company's operations, including disturbing efforts geared toward the 2020 elections.

Media Research Center President (MRC) Brent Bozell issued the following statement Tuesday on behalf of The Free Speech Alliance, a coalition of more than 50 conservative organizations committed to combating online bias and censorship.

"Sheryl Sandberg just announced that she is allowing the ACLU and 90 left-wing organizations to dictate nearly every aspect of Facebook's policies. This will let the left dominate the most powerful social media platform on the face of the earth. That raises significant legal and statutory issues that should worry both left and right." (Read more)

9. Russia paid radio broadcaster $1.4 million to air Kremlin propaganda in DC - OpenSecrets

Marking DOJ's first successful civil enforcement action under the Foreign Agents Registration Act in more than two decades, U.S. District Court Judge Robin Rosenberg ruled that RM Broadcasting should be registered as a foreign agent under FARA due to its relationship with Rossiya Segodnya, the Russian government's media enterprise that owns Sputnik International and was created by Vladimir Putin to advance Russia's interests abroad.

Starting shortly after Trump's election, RM Broadcasting agreed to act as the Russian media enterprise's middleman brokering airtime on WZHF 1390, a Washington, D.C., area radio station owned by Way Broadcasting. The station, which previously played bluegrass music, made serious money airing content the U.S. government considers pro-Russia propaganda. RM Broadcasting reported being paid more than $1.4 million from November 2017 to June 2019 to air Sputnik 24 hours a day.

Broadcasters have received mixed signals on whether they should register under FARA. DOJ's new focus on foreign influence has entangled several foreign state-funded media outlets, including the Kremlin-owned Russia Today and potentially Qatar's Al Jazeera. (Read more)

10. Significant earthquake rattles California, USGS says - Fox News

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Southern California and Nevada on Thursday morning.

The quake occurred about 7 miles outside Searless Valley, located about 130 miles west of Bakersfield and about 200 miles east of the Nevada border, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Swarms of smaller quakes occurred immediately after the 6.4 magnitude tremblor struck the region. Several people took to Twitter to report that they felt the shaking. However, there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage from the quakes. (Read more)

U.S. stocks traded higher on Wednesday lifting the Dow Jones Industrials, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq to new records as financial markets closed early for the July 4th holiday.

President Trump celebrated the milestone tweeting a "congratulations!" noting the 19 percent annual gain for the broadest measure of stocks. (Read more)

Remembering the American Revolution


As we approach the day of our Independence from Britain, it may be helpful to be reminded of the sufferance of the Founding Fathers and what was going through their minds as they decided to take on the most powerful political and military force on the planet. They said, "A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people." What happens when that "Prince" collectively becomes the government and the news media working to usurp and awe the will of the people? What happens when people are so confused about our history and our Constitution that they cannot act even to save themselves? Great introspect is needed. Let us remember.

The Declaration of Independence is a masterful document that served as the true "preamble" to our Constitution. It begins by saying: "When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
"--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government." The signatures of 56 men were written on the Declaration after this sentence: "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
In other words, they risked everything. They counted the cost. They understood the will of God. They acted. This Independence Day, please take time to remind yourself and others about the sufferance of those who made such a pledge on their Lives, Fortunes, and sacred Honor. Please contemplate our national condition. Please seek God. For as Peter and the disciples said in Acts 5:29, "We ought to obey God rather than men." And recall the words of James 1:25, "But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." The body without spirit is dead, faith without works is also dead. Please consider your destiny.

German Homeschooling Family Wins Back Custody of Children after Years of Struggle


(Germany) - [CBN News] A German court has granted homeschoolers Dirk and Petra Wunderlich custody of their minor children after they were removed in 2013.

The victory in family court in Darmstadt comes a few months after the European Court of Human Rights ruled against an appeal by the family. An appeal before the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights is still pending.

In Germany, a new judge ruled in the family's favor after the judge who was involved in the removal of the children in 2013 was replaced on grounds of bias.

"The right of parents to direct the education of their children is a fundamental right, protected in international law," said Robert Clarke, Director of European Advocacy for ADF International and lead counsel for the Wunderlich family at the European Court of Human Rights.

"We are pleased to see that the German court respected this right and acknowledged that the Wunderlich children are doing well. As we wait for referral to the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights, we hope that, there too, the rights of the Wunderlich family will be safeguarded," Clarke said.
