1. United, 5 Religious Zionist Parties Could Win 16 Seats; Divided They Could Disappear - Jewish Press

The French say, Vendez pas la peau de l'ours avant de l'avoir tué (Don't sell the bear's skin before you killed it); English has a similar proverb: Don't count your chickens before they're hatched; even our own Bible has something similar: He who is putting on his armor shouldn't boast as if he were taking it off [after a victory] (I Kings 20:11).

Moshe Feiglin on Wednesday told Reshet Bet radio that he is certainly capable of selling unkilled bears, counting unhatched chickens and doing that armor thing, not a problem. The Zehut chairman, who believed his own propaganda about being the fair-haired boy of North Tel Aviv (they didn't bother to show up at the polling booths) said he is ready to give up the first spot in a unified slate with the New Right to Naftali Bennett.

Here's where the bear and the chickens and the armor are buried: in the April 9 elections, the threshold stood at 140,052 votes. Bennett's and Ayelet Shaked's New Right party received 138,598, just barely away from the prize. Feiglin's Zehut, on the other hand, after boasting double digits during their campaign, took only 118,000 votes. So that for Feiglin to concede stuff to Bennett borders on insolence. (Read more)

2. Arabs torch vehicles inside Border Police base - Israel National News

Three firefighting teams operated on Wednesday night to extinguish burning vehicles inside a Border Police base near Atarot in northern Jerusalem.

The fire broke out after Arabs threw firebombs at the base.

A number of vehicles and scooters went up in flames as a result of the attack. Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other vehicles and nearby buildings. (Read more)

3. Netanyahu meets with head of Ukrainian party that includes neo-Nazis - Times Of Israel

JTA - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has come under fire in recent years for allegedly failing to confront anti-Semitism and revisionism in Central and Eastern Europe, met Wednesday with the head of a Ukrainian political party whose membership includes ultranationalists and neo-Nazis.

Oleh Lyashko of the Ukrainian Radical Party came to Jerusalem as part of a parliamentary delegation led by Jewish lawmaker Georgii Logvynskyi. Lyashko was shown shaking Netanyahu's hand in a video tweeted out by the Prime Minister's Office.

Lyashko's party includes nationalist Yuri Shukhevych, the son of Nazi collaborator Roman Shukhevych, whose troops engaged in war crimes against Jews during World War II. (Read more)

4. Eu, Israel, Egypt express unease about Turkey's gas drilling off Cyprus - YNET News

Turkey said on Wednesday it rejected Greek and European Union assertions that Turkish drilling for gas and oil off Cyprus was illegitimate, and said they showed the EU could not be an impartial mediator on the Cyprus problem.

The foreign ministry said Turkey's Fatih ship had started drilling to the west of the Mediterranean island at the start of May and its Yavuz ship had recently arrived east of Cyprus and would also carry out drilling.

Cyprus says Turkey's actions are contrary to international law. Turkey and the internationally-recognised government of the divided island have overlapping claims in that part of the Mediterranean, an area thought to be rich in natural gas.

The Yavuz drillship dropped anchor on Monday to the south of Cyprus' Karpasia peninsula, a jutting northeastern panhandle. It triggered a strong protest from Nicosia and a rebuke from the European Union. (Read more)

5. 'Without an emergency plan, French Jews will stop making aliyah' - Israel Hayom

Data published Tuesday by the Central Bureau of Statistics pointing to a continued decrease in the number of French Jews making aliyah come as no surprise to officials involved in efforts to help new immigrants integrate into Israeli life.

Ariel Kendall, director general of the Qualita organization, the umbrella organization for French immigrants in Israel, told Israel Hayom on Tuesday that "the continued drop in the number of French immigrants to Israel is very painful.

"The situation in France, a country that currently suffers from numerous anti-Semitic incidents and increasing instances of violence against Jews, provides an opportunity to prompt many Jews from France to make aliyah, and Israel is missing that opportunity because it isn't prepared to take in immigrants from France and hasn't laid out any strategic plan that will allow it to absorb and settle tens of thousands of immigrants in an appropriate, effective manner," Kendall said. 6. Trump, Netanyahu discuss Iran threat, sanctions in phone call - Ynet News

The two leaders talk about ways of preventing Tehran's 'malign actions in the region' on the same day U.S. president issues threat to increase sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

President Donald Trump spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Iran on Wednesday, the White House said, the same day the U.S. president threatened to "substantially" increase sanctions on Tehran to curb its nuclear activities.

Iran recently started enriching uranium beyond a limit established in a 2015 nuclear agreement with world powers, a deal from which Trump withdrew. Trump has since intensified economic sanctions on Tehran, and tensions have escalated. (Read more)

7. Britain sending destroyer to Gulf amid Iranian threats- Times of Israel

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran on Friday demanded the British navy release an Iranian oil tanker seized last week off Gibraltar, accusing London of playing a "dangerous game" and threatening retribution, while London announced it was sending a destroyer to the Persian Gulf.

The comments from Iran's Foreign Ministry came the day after police in Gibraltar, a British overseas territory on the southern tip of Spain, said they arrested the captain and chief officer of the supertanker suspected of breaching European Union sanctions by carrying a shipment of Iranian crude oil to Syria.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi told Iranian state news agency IRNA that "the legal pretexts for the capture are not valid . . . the release of the tanker is in all countries' interest." (Read more)

8. Russian S-400 defense systems arrive in Turkey amid spat with US - Times of Israel

The first shipment of a Russian missile defense system has arrived in Turkey, the Turkish Defense Ministry said Friday, moving the country closer to possible US sanctions and a new standoff with Washington.

A Defense Ministry statement said "the first group of equipment" of the S-400 air defense systems has reached the Murted Air Base near the capital, Ankara.

The delivery of parts of the system will continue in the coming days and authorities will decide "how it will be used" once the system is made operational, Turkey's defense industry authority said in a statement. (Read more)

9. Netanyahu to Nasrallah: attack us and Lebanon will suffer 'crushing blow' - jns.org

Israel PM's remarks come after the Hezbollah leader warned last week that Israel would be drawn into any war between the U.S. and Iran and could be "wiped out" in such a conflict.

Following statements by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah last week that a war between the United States and Iran would put the Jewish state "on the brink of extinction," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Sunday that if attacked, Israel "would impose a crushing military blow on [Hezbollah] and on Lebanon."

On Friday, Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV broadcast an interview with Nasrallah marking the 13th anniversary of the Second Lebanon War, during which the Hezbollah leader said that "any [future] war will be bigger than the 2006 war for Israel and it will put it on the brink of extinction."(Read more)

10. Netanyahu: IDF the only army ready to fight Iran - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that the only army ready to combat Iran is the IDF.

Speaking to members of the National Security College at the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu slammed the 2015 nuclear deal, and said that only he was against it at the time.

"The only thing that the terrible nuclear agreement gave is a strong and sweeping rapprochement with major Arab countries," Netanyahu said. "Iran says simply: 'We will destroy you and destroy you first by nuclear weapons.'"

"I had to fight alone to block the nuclear agreement," Netanyahu lamented. "I had to fight against all the powers and against the president of the United States - I went to the American Congress.

"I thought that this agreement would not only pave the way for a nuclear arsenal, but would also give them hundreds of billions of dollars that they would not invest in Iran, but would invest in their empire. Today you can judge whether we were right or not. So first of all, you have to stop it.

"At the moment, the only army in the world to fight Iran - this is the Israeli army." (Read more)

1. Rick Perry: Now that Ross Perot is gone, I can tell this story - Dallas News

This week, the nation remembers Ross Perot for his success in business, his two independent White House bids and his no-nonsense, straight Texas talk. His love of country, larger-than-life personality and generosity are all part of his legacy that will live on. But there is another little-known part of the life of Ross Perot that should be told now that he is gone. He was a tireless, but private, supporter of our wounded veterans.

During my time as governor of this great state, I had the honor and privilege of knowing countless warriors who stepped forward to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan and returned home with horrific wounds of war. U.S. Army Cpl. Alan Babin Jr. is one such hero.

On the one-year anniversary of his wounding, I joined Alan and his family for a small gathering. He was still in very bad shape, neurologically and physically incapacitated. When I asked his mother, Rosie, what I could do to help, she said she was eager to get him out of the hospital and back home, but struggling with the prospect of transporting Alan to his many medical visits. I knew there was one person to call: Ross Perot. What happened next still amazes me to this day.

-Our Father, may the example that Ross Perot left us be duplicated many times over in the hearts of many who have the resources to reach out to the less fortunate people who have great burdens to bear, and can be helped tremendously by the testimony of the good works of Mr. Perot. Bless his family and all who were influenced by his good works. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

-"Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work." (Titus 3:1)

2. Labor Secretary Acosta Resigns amid Backlash over Handling of Epstein Sex-Abuse Case - National Review

Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta resigned Friday. Speaking to reporters outside the White House Friday morning, Acosta said he offered to resign to spare the administration from any further distractions associated with the mounting scandal surrounding his prosecution of [Jeffrey] Epstein in 2008. The White House said Acosta's deputy, Pattrick Pizzella, will take over as acting secretary of labor.

The announcement comes just two days after Acosta held a press conference [where he] blamed the Palm Beach State Attorney's Office for the lenient sentence, arguing that his office stepped in late in the prosecution and secured the best deal possible to prevent the state from letting Epstein off with no jail time.

"The Palm Beach State Attorney's Office was ready to let Epstein walk free. No jail time, nothing," Acosta told reporters at the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. "Our prosecutors, as this 2008 article recounts, presented the ultimatum: plead guilty to more serious charges - charges that require jail time, registration, and restitution - or we'd roll the dice and bring a federal indictment. Without the work of prosecutors, Epstein would have gotten away with just [a] state charge."

-Father God, we ask that Epstein will reap for all his sins. If he regards iniquity in his heart, the Lord will not hear him. Deal with this man's soul to repent and be saved. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

-"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2)

3. President Trump Delivers Lifesaving Deregulation - Forbes

How many of you noticed the most life-changing story of the week? As the President noted, roughly 100,000 Americans with kidney disease are awaiting a transplant from a donor. It's estimated that 43,000 Americans die prematurely each year because they don't receive a life-saving kidney transplant. For context, this exceeds the number of people who die in car accidents each year.

The shortage of kidneys and other organs is substantially, and probably fully, the fault of inhumane government regulations. The shortages of kidneys and livers, the second most needed organ, are especially sad. After all, an adequate supply is readily available. Unlike other organs, kidneys and livers can be donated by living persons, who, after their donation, can continue to lead normal lives.

President Trump's life-saving executive order is multipronged. The change that will probably save the most lives is the provision that allows for reimbursement of organ donors' lost wages and childcare expenses. Currently, organ donors spend money out of their own pocket and time to donate. The expansion of the supply of kidneys will [also] save the federal government, which pays the expenses of dialysis for patients not covered by private insurance, billions of dollars a year.

-Almighty God, bless President Trump in all his efforts to deliver lifesaving deregulations that will save thousands of lives every year and bring needed changes in so many areas. Father, we thank You for guiding our President in such a dynamic progressive way. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

-"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the day-spring from on high has visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." (Luke 1:78-79)

4. U.S. House passes $733-billion defense policy bill after Trump threatens veto - Reuters

The U.S. House of Representatives approved a $733-billion defense policy bill on Friday, defying President Donald Trump's veto threat by including provisions like a clampdown on funding for his planned wall on the border with Mexico.

The House passed its version of the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, by a 220 to 197 vote, without a single Republican voting in favor of the bill and after some of the most liberal Democrats opposed it as they pushed for a reduction in defense spending.

The NDAA is still several steps from becoming law. In the months to come, lawmakers must come up with a compromise version between the one passed by the House and the one passed last month in the Senate. Read more

-Almighty God, we pray that You will guide President Trump in such a miraculous way that he is able to fulfill all his responsibilities as our leader, and not be bound by the wickedness of the democrats' control to hold him back. Release President Trump by the powerful hand of our God to lead our country to victory over all the wiles of the enemy. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

-"Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face continually. Remember His marvelous works that He has done, His wonders and the judgments of His mouth." (I Chronicles 16:11-12)

5. Exclusive-Paul Gosar: Americans Must 'Put a Clampdown' on Green Card Giveaway for Big Tech - Breitbart

Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) says Americans must call Congress to "put a clampdown" on a green card giveaway plan that passed through the House. This week, 140 House Republicans [and] 224 House Democrats voted to allow Indian nationals to effectively monopolize the U.S. green card system for at least the next ten years, providing a constant stream of foreign workers that American professionals will be forced to compete against for white-collar jobs.

In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot's Breitbart News Tonight, Gosar called the plan, known as HR. 1044, a "major giveaway" to multinational corporations and tech conglomerates who are looking to continue outsourcing high-paying American jobs to foreign workers instead of hiring qualified Americans. "We've actually had whistleblowers come from some of Big Tech, like Verizon, telling us that the American workers are actually training their foreign worker replacements," Gosar continued.

Gosar also blasted the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program that gives work permits to foreign students who graduate from American universities to take white-collar U.S. jobs. Gosar's legislation, known as the Fairness for High-Skilled Americans Act, ends the OPT program to decrease the cheaper foreign job competition that American science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) graduates are forced to compete against.

-Almighty God, we plead with You to stop this Green Card Giveaway for Big Tech by the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Remove, defeat, disassemble and cast down from heaven the House Democrats, Plan HR 1044 - the Optional Practical Training program, and all the other destructive plans that are sent to bring down the United States of America. Send mighty angels from the throne room of heaven to come upon America and destroy all the demonic organizations here in our country. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

6. Trump determined to find out who is a citizen - OneNewsNow

After courts blocked putting a citizenship question on the census, President Donald Trump has directed federal agencies to try to compile the information using existing databases instead. "It is essential that we have a clear breakdown of the number of citizens and non-citizens that make up the U.S. populations," Trump declared in a Rose Garden announcement, insisting that he was "not backing down."

Trump had said last week that he was "very seriously" considering an executive order to try to force the question. But the government has already begun the lengthy and expensive process of printing the census questionnaire without it, and such a move would surely have drawn an immediate legal challenge.

Instead, Trump said Thursday that he would be signing an executive order directing every federal department and agency to provide the Commerce Department with all records pertaining to the number of citizens and noncitizens in the country.

-Lord God, we pray that You will stand behind and push through President Trump's miraculous control over the actual number of U.S. Citizens and non-citizens that make up the U.S. populations. Send the angels from heaven to do warfare against the enemies of the United States. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

-"Save us O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to Your holy Name, and glory in Your praise." (I Chronicles 16:35)

7. Trump Administration Wins Sanctuary Cities Case in Appeals Court - Epoch Times

The Department of Justice under the Trump administration secured a victory in a federal appeals court on a sanctuary cities-related case, which concerns how the DOJ awards a specific type of grant money to cities to hire more police officers.

The Ninth Circuit of Appeals court, in a 2-1 decision on July 12, ruled that the DOJ can put more priority toward approving applications for grant money that's under the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) program to cities that are willing to cooperate with federal efforts to remove illegal immigrants from the country.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement that the ruling "reverses a lawless decision that enabled sanctuary city policies," referring to a nationwide injunction that a federal judge issued in April 2018 after Los Angeles, widely recognized as a sanctuary city, sued the DOJ.

In a statement following the ruling, the DOJ wrote: "The department is pleased that the court recognized the lawful authority of the administration to provide favorable treatment when awarding discretionary law enforcement grants to jurisdictions that assist in enforcing federal immigration laws."

8. Robert Mueller public hearing to be delayed one week - CNN

Robert Mueller's long-awaited testimony has been delayed a week, until July 24, to allow more time for Mueller to testify, House Democrats said in a statement late Friday. House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff said in a joint statement that Mueller's public appearance had been pushed back at the former special counsel's request, and that Mueller had agreed to appear for an extended period.

"The House Judiciary Committee will convene on July 24 at 8:30am with Special Counsel Mueller testifying in public for three hours. After a brief break, the House Intelligence Committee will convene for additional public testimony beginning at 12:00pm," the chairmen said in a statement. "All members -- Democrats and Republicans -- of both committees will have a meaningful opportunity to question the Special Counsel in public, and the American people will finally have an opportunity to hear directly from Mr. Mueller about what his investigation uncovered."

But the committees are no longer expected to hear from two Mueller deputies -- Aaron Zebley and James Quarles -- on the same day, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Democrats had sought to question the deputies behind closed doors about the special counsel investigation. Attorney General William Barr had expressed a desire this week that the deputies not testify, and the Justice Department was resisting their appearances.

-Lord God in heaven, from the onset of this hearing, we pray that the mighty host of angels will appear in the courtroom and take control of every demonic force, whether in word or deed, and all the works of evil will go down under the Blood of Jesus. We pray that the lies of the enemy will be exposed and cast down in utter defeat. May the truth reign supreme in this hearing. We pray in the matchless Name of Jesus.

-"Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His Name, make known His deeds among the people." (I Chronicles 16:8)

9. Appeals Court Allows Trump Administration Abortion Funding Ban To Go Into Effect - FreeBeacon

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will allow a Trump administration ban on Title X funding for abortion providers to go into effect on Thursday after abortion advocates and a group of states sought an emergency stay for the policy. The administration's policy would prevent abortion providers from obtaining federal funding.

Last month, a three judge panel temporarily allowed the policy to go into effect pending the outcome of an appeal to the Ninth Circuit. The panel's decision came a few months after an Oregon judge issued a nation-wide preliminary injunction preventing the ban from taking place. A Washington state judge followed suit.

The decision requires health care clinics to be physically and financially separate from abortion clinics and forbids clinics that receive federal funding from recommending patients pursue abortions. The 7-4 decision split the judges along party lines: the seven judges in the majority were appointed by Republicans, while the four judges in the minority were appointed by Democrats. Planned Parenthood called the decision "devastating news."

-Almighty God, we lift up Your holy Name in standing behind President Trump's Abortion Funding Ban that it will go into effect and is the beginning of the abortion industry collapse. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' Name we pray.

10. U.S. Senators Blast NATO Ally Turkey After Russia Delivers S-400 Air Defense System - Haaretz

U.S. senators issued a bipartisan statement against Turkey after it said the first shipment of the S-400 Russian missile defense system had arrived on Friday, urging President Donald Trump to sanction Ankara for the move.

"We urge President Trump to fully implement sanctions as required by law under the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act. Additionally, while all F-35 material deliveries remain indefinitely suspended, we call on the Department of Defense to proceed with the termination of Turkey's participation in the F-35 program," senators Jim Inhofe, Jack Reed, Jim Risch and Bob Menendez wrote in the statement. The four are members of the Senate Armed Services Committee and Foreign Relations Committee.

"On a strong bipartisan basis, Congress has made it clear that there must be consequences for President Erdogan's misguided S-400 acquisition, a troubling signal of strategic alignment with Putin's Russia and a threat to the F-35 program," they added.

Christianity is the safeguard to Liberty

The Daily Jot has been sounding the alarm about the ongoing coup and what it means to America. Irrespective of bad doctrine that has been taught about not being involved in our nation, or supporting government even when it is evil, there is one axiom that cannot be refuted: Christianity is the safeguard to true liberty. Islam has tried to snuff out Christianity in its midst because it is the beacon of freedom, giving hope everlasting to all who believe. Communism, socialism and fascism outlaw Christianity because of the dangers it presents to totalitarianism. When you know the truth and the truth makes you free, there is no bondage to any worldly system. This is what great men in our history knew and counted on.

With the immoral and amoral trying to place a death grip on our free society, Christians must stand otherwise freedom will cease to exist. "Freedom sees in religion the companion of its struggles and its triumphs, the cradle of its infancy, the divine source of its rights. It considers religion as the safeguard of mores; and mores as the guarantee of laws and the pledge of its own duration."--these are the words of Alexis de Tocqueville, a French aristocrat who came to America in the 1830s to observe what made the country so great. His "Democracy in America" is considered a historic treasure about the unique success of the United States. Tocqueville wrote that America is free because of its collective Christian religion.

He pointed out that the laws that governed the Plymouth colony were derived from the Hebrew texts. In the later 1600s, even the law of Connecticut stated that man shall not "have or worship any other God, but the Lord God." He said that Americans "have succeeded in incorporating somehow into one another and combining marvelously. . .the spirit of religion and the spirit of freedom." Tocqueville believed America was unique in this very way. As we look around the world and see the devastation of modern human trafficking-slavery-it is non-Christian states, such as Islamic nations and others that have no defined connection to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who are perpetrating humans in bondage.

Cotton Mather wrote in 1820, "There is a liberty of corrupt nature, which is affected both by men and beasts, to do what they list; and this liberty is inconsistent with authority, impatient of all restraint; by this liberty we are all inferior; 'tis the grand enemy of truth and peace, and all the ordinances of God are bent against it. But there is a civil, a moral, a federal liberty, which is the proper end and object of authority; it is a liberty for that only which is just and good; for this liberty you are to stand with the hazard of your very lives." Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." As Christians we must demand and accept no other form of liberty.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

4.6 earthquake shakes Seattle region, no damage reported

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake shook Seattle and the Puget Sound region at 2:51 a.m. Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), rattling some people (and dogs) out of bed, while leaving other people (and alpacas) blissfully dormant and unfazed.

The earthquake emanated from Three Lakes, Snohomish County, about 9 miles east of downtown Everett. The temblor raises the probability of a larger earthquake in the next few days, although the likelihood of a bigger quake is still very small, the USGS said. There is a 4% chance of a quake larger than Friday morning's within the next week, according to the USGS.

"There's an elevated possibility of a larger earthquake in the next few days, but it is very small and it shrinks quickly in time, too," said Paul Bodin, a University of Washington seismologist and manager of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. "So if there's nothing within a week, then the probability of it being in the next week is vanishingly small."

'Unplanned' Opens Friday in 53 Canadian Theaters Despite Backlash:
'It's About Time Canadians See What Abby Saw That Changed Everything'

"The opposition to this movie by pro-abortion politicians and abortion activists has been a great indicator that they are terrified of the movie's power to influence public opinion. They would prefer to keep Canadians in the dark about the grisly business of abortion and the suffering it causes women and abortion workers who are seeking a way out of the industry." -Josie Luetke, Campaign Life Coalition

[LifeSiteNews.com] The firestorm of controversy in Canada over the screening of the pro-life movie Unplanned promises to continue tonight when the movie opens in 53 theatres across the country.

The American film dramatizes Abby Johnson's conversion from Planned Parenthood abortion facility manager to pro-life advocate and was written, produced, and directed by Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman.

Canadian abortion advocates and some media are denouncing the movie as "dangerous propaganda" and have taken to social media to plan protests in several locations, including the Cineplex's Yonge and Dundas complex in downtown Toronto; Chinook Centre Cineplex in Calgary, Alberta; Landmark Cinema 12 in Kitchener, Ontario; and Cineplex Galaxy Theatres in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

A petition is circulating on change.org against Landmark and Cineplex for showing the movie at seven and 14 locations respectively, and self-described "progressive" movement north99.org is soliciting signatures for a message to Cineplex asking it to not show the movie.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
