1. Israeli UN Envoy: Time Has Come for World to Recognize Jerusalem as Our Capital - Algemeiner

The time has come for the international community to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, the Jewish state's UN envoy said in a letter to the president of the Security Council.

"Since King David made Jerusalem the capital of the Kingdom of Israel 3,000 years ago, the Jews have always lived in, built and defended the Holy City," Ambassador Danny Danon wrote. "Even after the Jews lost their sovereignty in the Land of Israel to the Roman sword, they still maintained a presence in Jerusalem, generation after generation."

"When the Arabs rejected UN resolution 181 in 1947, the local Arab population attacked the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and expelled its Jewish population," he continued. "For nineteen years, Jerusalem's Old City was separated from its western neighborhoods by mines and barbed wire. It was not until 1967, when Israel overcame yet another Arab attempt to destroy the Jewish state, that Israel succeeded in reuniting and liberating Jerusalem."

2. Report: Syria intercepts missiles fired from Israel - Israel National News

Syrian media reported overnight Tuesday that the country's defense systems intercepted a number of missiles fired from Israel towards southern Syria.

The Israeli attack reportedly targeted the town of Tell al-Hara, located in the Daraa region, an area considered a strategic point overlooking the Golan Heights.

It was also reported that the attack caused damage to buildings and that Israel used technological means to disrupt radar systems during the attack.

Last Thursday, several anti-aircraft missiles were fired toward Mount Hermon from Syria. No injuries were reported.

Three days earlier, Syrian media reported that the T-4 airbase in Homs had come under firefrom "hostile missiles".

3. Moldova to relocate its embassy to Jerusalem - Israel National News

Moldova's government announced on Tuesday that it will move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv, JTA reports.

The announcement followed fallout from a constitutional crisis and power struggle that ended last week with a constitutional court's suspension of the country's elected president, Igor Dodon.

The statement tied the decision, which would make Moldova the only European country with its embassy in Jerusalem, to internal unrest and the sale of the land for the construction of a new American embassy in Chisinau, the Moldovan capital.

"We are in the situation to urgently adopt these decisions taking into account the political instability and uncertainty in the country, but also the latest political developments whereas one of the political parties that constantly blocked these two projects is attempting an illegal takeover of power," the government under its acting prime minister, Pavel Filip, wrote in the statement.

4. Labor leader Avi Gabbay says he will not vie for party leadership again - Israel Hayom

Labor leader Avi Gabbay will not seek to retain leadership of the party in next month's primary race, he announced Tuesday.

"To my supporters, to my friends, to my partners, and to my dear loved ones, I want to inform you that I will not be running for leadership of the party in the elections which will be held next month," Gabbay said on Facebook.

The decision, he said, was the next logical step in light of Labor's poor showing in the April 9 general election, which saw the party dwindle to just six mandates. Labor's primary election is scheduled to take place on July 2.

5. Israel reels in Gaza fishing zone as arson balloons scorch south - Times Of Israel Israel announced Tuesday it will further scale back the Gaza fishing zone from 10 nautical miles to six, in response to a number of arson attacks from the coastal enclave throughout the day.

"In light of the fires and the launching of incendiary balloons toward Israeli territory, this evening the permitted fishing zone for the Gaza Strip has been reduced to six nautical miles until further notice," Israel's military liaison to the Palestinians said in a statement. Over the course of Tuesday, there were seven fires in southern Israel sparked by balloon-borne incendiary devices from the Gaza Strip, according to the local fire department.

Saturday's planned #ImpeachTrump Day of Action has expanded greatly in the past week with over 100 events now set around the nation to call for House impeachment hearings against President Trump. Several groups are involved including Indivisible, MoveOn, By the People, and nearly 20 others.

The protests are aimed at giving the public a greater voice in the process, said organizers. "Donald Trump has broken the law, violated the Constitution, and put the safety and future of the American people at risk. But by now, it is clear that Congress won't act unless we demand it. We need to take to the streets in every neighborhood in America to defend democracy," said Alexandra Flores-Quilty, a spokeswoman with By the People, in a statement. (Read more)

2. Trump Jr. to appear before Senate Intelligence Committee - Washington Examiner

Donald Trump Jr. is poised to testify privately before the Senate Intelligence Committee for approximately two to four hours concerning the committee's Russia investigation Wednesday. He was subpoenaed by the committee in April after special counsel Robert Mueller's federal Russia investigation concluded.

President Trump's eldest son last appeared before the panel in December 2017 but have additional questions for him after the president's former personal attorney Michael Cohen testified in February. The panel is expected to press Trump Jr. on issues including the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting and the potential Trump Tower Moscow project.

Trump Jr. previously said he was only "peripherally aware" of the project, although Mueller's report claims Cohen said he talked to Trump Jr. about the project on several occasions. Cohen characterized their conversations about the project as not just "idle chit chat." (Read more)

3. DOJ investigating 'non-governmental organizations and individuals' as part of 'broad' probe into surveillance abuses - Fox News

As part of its ongoing "multifaceted" and "broad" review into potential misconduct by U.S. intelligence agencies during the 2016 presidential campaign, the Justice Department revealed Monday it is also investigating the activities of several "non-governmental organizations and individuals."

Additionally, the DOJ announced that the probe, let by Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, was looking into the involvement of "foreign intelligence services." The information was contained in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., who had inquired as to the scope of Durham's investigation.

Multiple sources familiar with the matter told Fox News, meanwhile, that Durham is "very dialed in" and "asking all the right questions." Separately, sources within the Justice Department confirmed to Fox News that Barr has met "on multiple occasions in recent weeks" with Durham in Washington, D.C. (Read more)

4. 'True the Vote' Wins Big Case After Decade-Long Battle with IRS - CBN News

The 'True the Vote' v. IRS lawsuit has finally come to an end. And it's being seen as a big victory for freedom in the IRS-Lois Lerner saga in which conservative organizations were targeted and blocked from gaining tax-exempt status to keep them from being involved in the 2012 election.

This remarkable new ruling by US District Court Judge Reggie Walton was in favor of True the Vote, penalizing the IRS with extensive attorneys fees. The ruling indicates that, throughout the case, the IRS displayed unconstitutional discrimination and unethical behavior against True the Vote, a group that fights for election integrity. The judge's decision marks the end of a nearly decade long battle that first began in 2010.

True the Vote and its founder Catherine Engelbrecht, were targeted by top federal government agencies including the IRS, DOJ, FBI, ATF, OSHA. Under the Obama Administration, those agencies launched 23 audits, investigations, and inquiries, persistently attacking the group. Engelbrecht said, "At the outset of this case, I testified before Congress and swore that I would never retreat or surrender. Today I have fulfilled that oath. Thank you to all the citizens across the country who stood steadfastly beside us. We could not have done it without your support." (Read more)

5. Six Ohio Residents Plead Guilty to $8.5 Million Food Stamp Fraud - Breitbart

Court documents state that the business, Ohio Direct Distributors, conducted an $8.5 million food stamp fraud scheme using Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) benefits between August 2011 and September 2017. The documents state that up to 93 percent of the company's transactions could be considered fraudulent. Federal investigators say that these store owners used SNAP recipients to trade benefits for cash and often "completed transactions without the individual recipient's knowledge or consent," the court filings said.

Food stamp fraud is quite commonplace among convenience stores in the U.S. and is one of the ways the federal government loses billions of dollars each year. A Government Accountability Office (GAO) report from 2019 found that criminals were responsible for trafficking at least $1 billion in food stamp benefits. (Read more)

6. Soros Spends $1 Million on VA Prosecutor Races - Free Beacon

Liberal billionaire George Soros has continued his bid to "overhaul" the criminal justice system in the United States by pouring nearly $1 million into local Virginia prosecutor races to prop up far-left candidates.

Soros's most recent round of donations include $580,000 to Parisa Dehghani-Tafti, a candidate for Arlington County commonwealth's attorney, and almost $400,000 to Steve Descana, a Fairfax County commonwealth's attorney candidate, for their June 11 primaries.

Soros, who has quietly flooded local district attorney and prosecutor races for some time now, puts his preferred candidates at a major money advantage for such a race. (Read more)

7. No Sanctuary for the Unborn: These 42 Prosecutors Say They Won't Enforce New Pro-Life Laws - Restoring Liberty

A group of elected prosecutors from across the United States announced over the weekend that they would not enforce abortion restrictions in their jurisdictions. The group's announcement comes in response to a wave of pro-life legislation across the United States. In addition to Alabama's near-total outlaw of abortion last month, other states including Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Iowa have enacted laws outlawing abortion after the child's heartbeat has been detected.

"What brings us together is our view that as prosecutors we should not and will not criminalize healthcare decisions such as these - and we believe it is our obligation as elected prosecutors charged with protecting the health and safety of all members of our community to make our views clear." 8. Project Veritas: Whistleblower Says Pinterest Censored Top Pro-Life Site as 'Pornography' - Breitbart

A whistleblower at Pinterest has released documents to Project Veritas that explain how the social media giant censors pro-life and Christian content, even to the extent of blacklisting a top pro-life site by labeling it as "pornography."

The whistleblower also revealed the platforms "sensitive terms list" which reveals that Pinterest considers the term "Bible verses" to be "brand unsafe." In an interview with watchdog Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe, the Pinterest insider said, "Somebody happened to notice that LiveAction.org was blocked."

Project Veritas reviewed the list of websites from the "porn domain block list" and was able to confirm that along with LiveAction.org, websites like zerohedge.com, pjmedia.com, teaparty.org and other various conservative websites were also listed. The majority of the document lists pornographic websites. The whistleblower also made a "Sensitive Terms List" available to Project Veritas. The watchdog discovered that terms such as "Christian Easter" and "Bible verses" were labeled as "brand unsafe." (Read more)

9. Josh Hawley Tears Congress Apart For 'Refusal' To Address Immigration Crisis, Child Smuggling Rings - Daily Caller

Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley vehemently criticized lawmakers for failing to address one of the darkest results to emerge from the current immigration crisis: child smuggling rings. "It seems to me that the exploitation of children by cartels, human smugglers on the scale that you're describing is absolutely unbelievable, and quite frankly, the refusal of this Congress to act to do something about this humanitarian crisis is absolutely unbelievable and absolutely indefensible," Hawley said during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday.

The hearing featured testimony from Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin McAleenan. The DHS chief said his agency has uncovered three "significant" child smuggling operations recently. The same children are used numerous times by smugglers to bring in different migrants. In one child smuggling ring, eight children were used to bring 36 different adults into the U.S. "We've heard it said that crossing across the southern border is an 'act of love,' but for the cartels, it's an opportunity for exploitation of children. It's an opportunity to cash in," Hawley said. "It is about profit. It is about money. It's about their criminal enterprise." (Read more)

10. Pompeo Monitoring Drug War in China, Latin America - Free Beacon

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Tuesday that the United States is making progress in an increasingly global drug war. Pompeo appeared before the first hearing of the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control for the new Congress.

According to the Drug Enforcement Agency, most heroin is sourced from Mexico and smuggled over the porous southwestern border, while most fentanyl is made in China and then trafficked over the border or through the mail. As such, curbing the explosion in overdose deaths now requires international enforcement efforts.

In his remarks, Pompeo stressed that in his time as Secretary of State, China has been a major focus of drug-control efforts. "There should be new criminal penalties-I'm convinced that they will do that-and I'm convinced that this will shut down labs inside China and save lives here in the United States." (Read more)

Left's new case: Abortion good for business

Some of the most insane ideas of the neo-communist left have been presented to America with a straight face-letting minor children decide whether they should have sex change operations, building a bridge across the oceans, not building a military base on an island because the weight may cause it to tip over-just to name a few. But now, they have gone the route that killing babies in the womb is good for American business and the well-being of all people. Yes, this is too crazy to make up. At the behest of Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America, The American Civil Liberties Union, and Center for Reproductive Rights, some 180 businesses have started a website called "Don't Ban Equality."
Somehow, CEOs of businesses like Bloomberg LP, Amalgamated Bank, Yelp, Square, Ben and Jerry's Homemade, Atlanta Records & Warner Music Group and others believe that snuffing out a baby in the womb somehow equates to equality for all. Their newly launched website says, "Equality in the workplace is one of the most important business issues of our time. When everyone is empowered to succeed, our companies, our communities and our economy are better for it.Restricting access to comprehensive reproductive care, including abortion, threatens the health, independence and economic stability of our employees and customers.

"Simply put, it goes against our values and is bad for business. It impairs our ability to build diverse and inclusive workforce pipelines, recruit top talent across the states, and protect the well-being of all the people who keep our businesses thriving day in and out.The future of gender equality hangs in the balance, putting our families, communities, businesses and the economy at risk. We, the undersigned, represent more than 108,000 workers and stand against policies that hinder people's health, independence and ability to fully succeed in the workplace." Restricting abortion, according to these mavens of society, threatens the health, independence and economic stability of their employees and customers-In other words, all of society.

According to these people, the future of the American economy rests on gender equality that hinges on legal abortion, and they believe that their families, communities and businesses are at risk if babies cannot be killed in the womb. What about the ability of that preborn to be empowered to succeed? How about the 70 million-plus aborted American citizens who could be contributing to society, but will never have that chance? This is a case where the shrill voices of those who wish to destroy families, communities and the economy as we know it, have crossed the line. If these people want equality, perhaps they should look to the real standard of equality as is written in Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus." That's true equality and freedom.

Americans have grown accustomed to hearing about car bombings in Afghanistan. But intelligence sources say the attacks that have occurred over the past few weeks were actually "practice runs" for even bigger attacks in Europe and the United States.

The Islamic State is once again transforming Afghanistan into a base for international terrorism, according to Ajmal Omar, Nangarhar provincial council member.

"The Islamic State was not eliminated here. Daesh was just quiet for some time to re-supply themselves, so they can move to other districts in large numbers.They're armed with snipers, night vision equipment and powerful weapons," Omar says.
In March of this year, ISIS lost its final stronghold in Syria, bringing an end to the so-called caliphate it declared in 2014.

Many assumed the struggle against the Islamic State was finally near an end. But the fighters simply moved east into the mountains of Afghanistan, where they have grown from a few dozen to several thousand.

The group is reportedly actively recruiting at universities, looking for tech-savvy Afghans able to travel abroad, use social media and help plan sophisticated attacks.
Unbelievably, some say the best solution may be the Taliban because the two groups are rivals. The US is expected to offer to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan if the Taliban will keep ISIS from using the country as a base for global attacks.

Intelligence sources say without an aggressive counterterrorism strategy, the Islamic State, operating from Afghanistan, will be able to carry out a large-scale attack in the US or Europe within the next year.

Already, US authorities have arrested eight people with links to ISIS in Afghanistan.

The war in Afghanistan has cost the US over one trillion dollars and more than 2,000 dead, and now security experts warn that it is about to become a base for international terrorism again.

ISIS Behind Fires Ravaging Israel, Iraq and Syria

The new trend continued when Hamas started the 'Great March of Return' in March 2018 and introduced the incendiary balloons and kites which were used to terrorize Israel's southern regions.

The latest wave of blazes which plagued the Jewish state in May and destroyed the Jewish village Mevo Modiin and has now spread to Samaria and Judea was for a large part the work of arsonists as well.

The fire in Mevo Modiin left 50 families without a home and all their possessions, while police and the Israeli fire brigade later determined the blaze was caused by arson.

Arson-terrorism has now also reached Samaria and Judea.
A huge blaze in the Jewish village of Carmei Tzur in central Judea which raged on Wednesday last week and reached the outskirts of the embattled community started after Palestinian Arab arsonists threw firebombs across the security fence, a member of the local security team told this reporter.

The source said that Palestinian Arabs routinely throw firebombs across the fence near the Hamas hotbed Beit Umar but this time they targeted the southwestern part of Carmei Tzur where there is no fence and where most people live in caravans.

The huge blaze in Carmei Tzur coincided with a large fire near the Jewish village of Itamar in central Samaria. Residents of Itamar claimed that the fire was the fourth attempt in as many days to destroy their community.

"This is the fourth fire to break out in 4 days, endangering residents and families, destroying years' worth of work by farmers. The heart breaks," Iyar Segal a resident of Itamar told Israeli media.
The media largely ignored these fires while the major news outlets in Israel blamed the wave of fires on the unprecedented heat wave which hit the Jewish state in May. Only the state-funded broadcaster KAN reported about the real reason for the wave of fires.

KAN said, "hundreds of the fires in the last weeks in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh area were a result of arson."
The terror watchdog group Boomerang, furthermore, released a new video documenting the number of fires that firefighters fought since November 2016: a whopping 1,773 (Gaza-belt not included).

Firefighter Ron Shlaf, who was a prominent member of the team that investigated the wave of fires, said that there's no doubt about what caused the bulk of the blazes.

"Yes. We've faced arson terror. There is no dilemma or doubt about it. All the villages that were burned were Jewish and all those arrested or prosecuted were Arabs. And from a thorough investigation we conducted, no one else in the Middle East-including the Palestinians-experienced such an extreme wave of fires like we experienced," Shlaf told Boomerang.
Shlaf's team investigated 80 large fires since 2016 and came to the conclusion that 71 of them were the work of arson terrorists.

As for Gaza, since the beginning of the 'Great March of Return' the incendiary balloons and kites have caused more than 2,000 fires in southern Israel which destroyed 35,000 dunams or 8,500 acres of forests, nature reserves and agricultural fields.

The use of pyro-terror has now spread to other parts of the Middle East.

The Jihadist ISIS terror group has instructed its members to destroy the first major harvests of crops in Iraq and Syria since years by using scorched earth tactics.
Since the beginning of May, tens of thousands of acres of farmland have been burned across territory stretching from the Iranian border in Iraq to the Mediterranean Sea coast in northwest Syria.

The fires are visible from satellites and caused the loss of income for farmers who have already suffered years of deprivation and displacement.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the wave of arson terror in both Iraq and Syria.

"The harvest season is still long, and we tell the soldiers of the Caliphate: you have before you millions of dunams of land planted with wheat and barley, which are owned by apostates," said the group in a statement which was published in the al-Naba newsletter.
Israel, meanwhile, could have found the solution to the 'Kite Jihad' as some call it.

The Israeli military is currently being equipped with the Smash 2000 anti-drone system.

The system has been developed by Israeli start-up Smart Shooter and enables the average IDF soldier to hit fast moving targets on the ground and in the air by using his own M-16 or Tavor rifle.
Smash 2000 had been developed to take down drones but can also be used to neutralize incendiary balloons and kites the company said.

The combination of simple hardware and advanced image-processing software of Smash 2000 turns virtually every soldier with basic weapons into a sharpshooter, with the first round out of every rifle hitting its target, The Jerusalem Post reported last week.

Smash 2000 "calculates the target's movement and predicts its next location using advanced image processing and algorithms. SMASH 2000 prevents the bullet from being fired until the target is precisely in its crosshairs," according to JPost.

Watching so many young adults stand unashamed and passionate about their experience of walking out of the lifestyle of homosexuality into a life of freedom in Christ was a magnificent experience. This has been an answer to prayer. . .

While the LGBTQ community has no hesitation in parading their doctrines and agendas before anyone, this Freedom March gave the ex-homosexual a clear voice. They were able to declare openly, right in our nation's capital, that the lifestyle they once embraced was not God's will for their life or anyone else's life. They were able to freely stand up and say that they chose Christ and holiness over all of their sins . . .

They spoke for the countless people who were not able to march and could not attend. They spoke for the person struggling with their sexuality. They spoke for the person who is gender disoriented and insecure. They spoke for the cross-dresser and the transgender. They spoke for everyone and anyone who is unsure of themselves and unable to find love and hope. They marched to show that there is hope and there is unconditional love available through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The asteroid supposedly the size of a football field that people
are freaking out about? Don't sweat it

You may have seen reports that a massive asteroid the size of a football field is hurtling toward Earth. Although the European Space Agency (ESA) has placed asteroid 2006QV89 on its Risk List, there's no reason to sound the alarms just yet.

It's not that big

First of all, it's probably not as big as you think it is. The object is roughly 40 meters in diameter, according to the ESA. A football field is 48.5 meters wide and 109 meters long.

For comparison, some of the other asteroids on the Risk List measure 900 and 375 meters in diameter.

The Risk List is probably scarier than it sounds

The Risk List might sound scary, but that simply means that ESA calculated a non-zero impact probability. ESA says this particular asteroid has a 1 in 7,299 chance of hitting us. You're more likely to get killed by fireworks, which is a 1 in 340,733 chance. The threshold for action is if an asteroid is determined to have a 1 in 100 chance of impact with the Earth. In addition to 2006QV89, there are 869 other near-Earth asteroids on ESA's Risk List. And if we were to freak out about every one of them, we'd never get any work done.

It's still a ways away

2006QV89 is currently 4.2 million miles away from us. If the asteroid does hit Earth, it wouldn't be until September 9, 2019, at 7:03 a.m., ESA says.

Space agencies have been prepping for the worst

NASA, FEMA and other international groups including ESA have been training for what to do if an asteroid ever does hit the planet we call home. They regularly hold near-Earth object impact exercises.

In December, NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission finally made it to the asteroid Bennu. It will spend two years studying Bennu. By doing so, scientists are hoping to glimpse more information about asteroids that could impact Earth as well as how planets formed and life began

Sheriff Claims "Divine Intervention" after Family Finds Abandoned Crying Baby in the Woods

The baby girl, with the umbilical cord still attached, was wrapped in plastic and abandoned in the woods. Because Georgia has a "Safe Haven" law, she could have been dropped off at any health facility in the state rather than being left to die.

(Atlanta, GA) - [CharismaNews.com] Sheriff Ron Freeman says a Georgia family found an hours-old baby girl wrapped in plastic, crying in the woods near their home.

"It was divine intervention we found this child," Freeman said.

Alan Ragetz and his family found the baby when they returned home from a vacation June 6.

His three daughters believe God allowed them to come home at the very moment the baby was crying.

"We grabbed our flashlights and we're driving around, and we're, like, 'That doesn't sound like an animal,'" Kayla Ragatz said.

They demanded their father check it out.

"We went down, pulled it up, and there was a poor little baby wrapped in a plastic bag," Alan Ragetz said. "She was alive, she was crying, so we figured that was a good sign."
