A Banner Day!

BANNON: MONDAY WAS BIGGEST DAY OF TRUMP'S PRESIDENCY

Stocks fell sharply Tuesday, with Wall Street disappointed that President Trump's threat to raise tariffs on goods from China was not a bluff.

But as with nuclear weapons, there's no weight behind tariff threats without the will to implement them, former White House chief strategist Steven Bannon argued in an interview.

He said that Monday, when Trump vowed to follow through with his tariff threat, was the most important day in Trump's presidency.

Bannon told the Fox Business Network's Lou Dobbs it's important to keep in mind that the pressure on Trump to be soft on China has been enormous.

"The IR department of the Chinese Communist Party, the Investors Relations department, is Wall Street, the lobbyists of corporate America. The pressure on President Trump has been relentless, and it's all the Fear Project," he said.

Bannon explained "Project Fear" is "that we're being told that 'if you don't actually get a deal that's just about buying more soya beans, you're going to have a collapse of the stock market and economic catastrophe.'"

Trump has stood up against that, he said.
"President Trump says, 'No! This is an economic war.' We're going to have fundamental, structural change in the state capitalism that China has," Bannon said.

"China has this system of state capitalism. We are going to get changes on forced technology transfers, subsidies to state-owned industries, intellectual property. These are deep issues."

Bannon said Trump won the presidency because working-class and middle-class people rejected "the managed decline of our country at the hands of people like Hillary Clinton."

"These globalists and elitists were very comfortable with the managed decline, particularly vis-a-vis the rise of China," he said.

"People understand (that) the factories went to China, the jobs went to China, and the opioids came in," said Bannon. "So I think that Trump understands that tariffs are more than taxes. They're more about self-empowerment of the working class."

Trump has threatened to more than double the tariffs on $200 billion in Chinese goods, beginning Friday, after U.S. negotiators accused Beijing of reneging on previous commitments. (WorldNetDaily) Read more.

1. Netanyahu vows to keep Iran from nukes after Tehran backs away from deal - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear arms Wednesday, hours after Iran declared it would step up enrichment activity as the 2015 nuclear deal appeared close to crumbling. Netanyahu has been one of the leading critics of the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and world powers. The US pulled out of the deal in May 2018, and Iran marked the one-year anniversary of that move by announcing it was pulling out of some commitments under the deal and could soon begin ramping up its enrichment activity again.

"We will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon," Netanyahu said at an official ceremony to mark the annual Memorial Day held at the Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem.

2. Islamic Jihad: We are preparing rockets - Israel National News

Abu Hamza, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad's "military wing", the Al-Quds Brigades, said on Wednesday that the Palestinian "resistance organizations" would start from the point at which the last round of the conflict ended should the "enemy" refuse to implement the understandings.

He stressed that the Palestinian "resistance organizations", headed by the Al-Quds Brigades, are closely following the implementation of the understandings by the "enemy" and that their hand is always on the trigger.

Abu Hamza added that immediately after the ceasefire, the military production units began working to replenish their rocket arsenal.

"The enemy wanted to reach, through the Cairo negotiations, a situation of calm in exchange for calm, but the leadership of the resistance organizations refused to do so," Abu Hamza said, adding that the rocket and anti-tank missiles forced Israel to accept the Palestinian conditions for a ceasefire.

3. PA admits all Palestinian terrorists 'receive orders from us' - World Israel News

As Israel mourned its fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism, top Palestinian Authority officials explained that the PA is "obligated" to pay salaries to 6,000 imprisoned Palestinian terrorists, and to the families of suicide bombers and other so-called "martyrs," because they were "soldiers" who had been "sent" by the PA and acted out of "national interest, and not for personal reasons." Most significantly, they "received orders" from the Authority.

PA leader Mahmoud Abbas' spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina admitted: "It is impossible to send a soldier to war and then not take care of his family."

Speaking about the P.A.'s difficult financial situation, Rudeina told Israel's Kan TV on April 16 that "Israel needs to understand this. It is impossible to send a soldier to war and then not take care of his family. We are talking about someone who acts on our behalf and receives orders from us."

Similarly, Abbas himself stressed the PA's "obligation" to pay terrorists and their families, calling them "the martyrs, the prisoners, and the wounded."

4. Jordan's King Abdullah seeks regional prestige and standing . . . at Israel's expense - JNS

(May 8, 2019 / JNS) At the recent Washington Institute for Near East Policy dinner, White House senior adviser Jared Kushner voiced confidence in his upcoming proposal to resolve the seemingly intractable Arab-Israeli conflict, calling it "realistic" and "executable." While the plan has been a tightly kept secret since its inception, rumors have been swirling about as to what it contains.

Israelis are worried, Palestinians are worried, and Jordan is worried as well.

Jordan's King Abdullah II is nervous that he will lose his custodianship of the Temple Mount as part of the plan, and he has therefore declared that "Jerusalem is a red line, and we won't change our stance. It is our duty to protect the Muslim and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem." According to the 1994 peace agreement between Jordan's King Hussein and Israel, Jordan is the guardian of the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem. And the Temple Mount remains a flashpoint between Israel and Jordan.

5. US Secretary of State Confirms Full Implementation of Jerusalem Embassy Act - Algemeiner

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday confirmed the full implementation of the law mandating the relocation of the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

"On May 14, 2018, the US Embassy in Jerusalem officially opened for business," Pompeo said in a statement. "Now, as we near the first anniversary of that momentous event, I am pleased to report that I have provided my determination to Congress that the relevant elements of the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 have been addressed. Accordingly, no further Presidential waiver of the funding restriction under the Act is necessary."

"The Jerusalem Embassy Act called on the Department of State to open in Jerusalem not just the offices of the US diplomatic mission to Israel, but also a chief of mission residence for our Ambassador to Israel," he continued. "In March 2019, in consultation with the Government of Israel, we established a chief of mission residence in Jerusalem. I have therefore determined that the US Embassy in Jerusalem, including the chief of mission residence, is officially open, consistent with the Act."

8. Grandson of Nazi Soldier Returning Golden Menorah to Atone for Crimes Against Jews - Times of Israel

Dietz is a devout Christian and has a strong belief in Jesus but, through his Bible study, he realized that this necessarily connected him to the Jews. . .

His return to the Church led him to discover the damage replacement theology had wreaked on Christianity.

"Replacement theology is the basis of antisemitism and is bad for the Jews," Dietz said. "But it is much worse for the Christians. It affected our faith in Jesus. Demonic influences entered the Church. I always ask Hashem why he allowed this."

Dietz prayed for and received an answer. He noted that the changes he had witnessed in recent years, the growing connection between faith-based Zionism among Christians and Jews showed him that we are at a pivotal point in history when a great change is developing for both religions.

"It wasn't yet time to remove replacement theology from the world," he said. "Now is the time for Christianity to move away from replacement theology and to move back to connecting with Israel. (Read more)
Give praise and thanksgiving to the Father for this amazing story of how one grandson is making restitution for the sins of his Nazi grandfather!

Pray into Leviticus 26:40-42 ~ Pray that more and more people would understand the importance of repenting for the sins of our church forefathers and then do acts of restitution!

Pray into Jeremiah 16:19 ~ Pray that the scales would come off many eyes of people in the church, that they would recognize the lie and sin of Replacement Theology and they would turn from it! (Prayers offered by Bridge Connector Ministries)

The Daily Brief

1. DOJ on Contempt Vote: 'No One . . . Will Force the Department of Justice to Break the Law' - Breitbart

The Department of Justice reacted defiantly to Democrats' vote on the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday to recommend that Attorney General William Barr be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to release the full and underrated report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into "Russian collusion" during the 2016 election.

The Department of Justice was defiant, releasing a statement after the contempt vote that insisted: "The Attorney General could not comply with the House Judiciary Committee's subpoena without violating the law. "Chairman Nadler's actions have prematurely terminated the accommodation process and forced the President to assert executive privilege to preserve the status quo. No one, including Chairman Nadler and his Committee, will force the Department of Justice to break the law."

The committee vote was 24-16 on straight party lines. Barr and the Department of Justice (DOJ) said that the subpoena was premature and that the attorney general could not legally release sections of the report that involved evidence presented before a grand jury. (Read more)

2. Steele's stunning pre-FISA confession: Informant needed to air Trump dirt before election - The Hill

If ever there were an admission that taints the FBI's secret warrant to surveil Donald Trump's campaign, it sat buried for more than 2 1/2 years in the files of a high-ranking State Department official.

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec's written account of her Oct. 11, 2016, meeting with FBI informant Christopher Steele shows the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded British intelligence operative admitted that his research was political and facing an Election Day deadline.

And that confession occurred 10 days before the FBI used Steele's now-discredited dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign's ties to Russia.

Kavalec's notes do not appear to have been provided to the House Intelligence Committee during its Russia probe, according to former Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.). "They tried to hide a lot of documents from us during our investigation, and it usually turns out there's a reason for it," Nunes told me. Senate and House Judiciary investigators told me they did not know about them, even though they investigated Steele's behavior in 2017-18.

One member of Congress transmitted the memos this week to the Department of Justice's inspector general, fearing its investigation of FISA abuses may not have had access to them. Nonetheless, the FBI is doing its best to keep much of Kavalec's information secret by retroactively claiming it is classified, even though it was originally marked unclassified in 2016. (Read more)

- Father, we pray this revelation will get the attention of our mainstream media and force them to report what was truly going on within the Obama Administration.

But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out. (Numbers 32:23)

3. Donald Trump Jr. subpoenaed by Senate Intelligence Committee - Fox News

The Senate Intelligence Committee has issued a subpoena for Donald Trump Jr. . . . The subpoena is in regards to remarks President Trump's oldest son made while testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2017, The Associated Press reported, citing a person familiar with the situation.

The committee's desire to speak to Trump Jr. follows testimony from Michael Cohen, the president's former attorney, in February.

The move to subpoena Trump Jr. was met with disapproval from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who argued that politicians should redirect their energy away from investigating potential Russian collusion.

".@DonaldJTrumpJr has already spent dozens of hours testifying in front of Congressional committees," McCarthy tweeted. "Endless investigations-by either party-won't change the fact that there was NO collusion. It's time to move on. It's time to focus on ISSUES, not investigations." (Read more)

- Father God,we agree with the House Minority Leader: it is time to move on.

"This far and no further, and here shall your proud waves be stopped." (Job 38:11)

4. If media think they are in the clear on the Russia hoax, they need to think again - American Thinker

It is beyond dispute that officials in the Obama administration, and others, can be prosecuted for crimes committed in carrying out the conspiracy to try to take down President Trump. What has drawn no attention whatsoever is the question of whether members of the media can hide behind the First Amendment to protect themselves from prosecution for involvement in the conspiracy.

Under an apparently little-understood legal doctrine, recognized in existing precedent by the Supreme Court, the media is not in the clear. There is ensconced in well-established case authority what is typically known as the "state actor" doctrine.

In cases brought primarily under Federal civil rights law, non-governmental parties including members of the media, have been held to be extensions of the state. There are criminal provisions in those civil rights statutes. (Read more)

- Father, we pray every member of the media who knowingly repeated disinformation, and refuses to come clean, will experience the full consequences of their actions. We speak forgiveness to each one in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool." (Isaiah 1:18)

5. Mike Pence: Trump administration to challenge lower courts issuing nationwide injunctions - Washington Times

Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday called on the Supreme Court to step in and order lower courts to limit their rulings to the parties in front of them, tamping down on the explosion of nationwide injunctions that have stymied many of the Trump administration's policies. Mr. Pence said the administration will give the justices a chance to make that ruling.

"In the days ahead, our administration will seek opportunities to put this question before the Supreme Court - to ensure that decisions affecting every American are made either by those elected to represent the American people or by the highest court in the land," the vice president told the Federalist Society.

He said the Trump administration has "faced more nationwide injunctions than the first 40 American presidents - combined." For most of the country's history when lower court judges issued a ruling it applied to the parties in the case. But in recent years judges have blocked policies nationally. (Read more)

- Father, we pray You will give the Trump Administration favor before the court to curtail this abuse by federal judges.

But let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.(Amos 5:24)

6. Appeals Court Rules Trump Can Send Asylum Seekers To Mexico - Washington Examiner

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that President Donald Trump has the authority to send asylum seekers to Mexico as they wait for the United States to adjudicate their claims, handing the president a big win on immigration policy.

The "Remain in Mexico" policy seeks to curb catch-and-release by denying fraudulent asylum seekers the incentive of being released into the interior of the U.S. while their cases proceed in immigration courts. The circuit court overruled an earlier decision by San Francisco Judge Richard Seeborg, who blocked Trump's policy on the grounds that the administration was making the asylum process too difficult and could be putting migrants at further risk by demanding they stay in Mexico. The lower court still has to rule on the merits of the case, which could end up at the Supreme Court. (Read more)
- Father, thank You for this victory! We pray migrants will hear about this ruling and be discouraged from leaving their home countries.

But we prayed to our God, and because of them we set up a guard against them day and night. (Nehemiah 4:9)

7. Colorado school shooting prompts Dem presidential hopefuls to call for gun reform - Fox News

After a Colorado school shooting left one student dead and at least seven others injured on Tuesday, Democrats vying for the White House in 2020 renewed calls for stricter gun legislation. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said news of the deadly shooting at the STEM School Highlands Ranch left her "heartsick for the victims," and urged lawmakers to pass gun reform immediately.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., pointed out the haunting significance of Tuesday's deadly shooting, noting that it took place just eight miles away from Columbine High School. New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker shared a message on social media claiming that the government had "more federal regulation over toy guns than real ones" -- a claim that critics have slammed as misleading.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., shadowed Booker's sentiment, saying: "another school shooting. Another life cut far too short. Another family and community changed. Forever." Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., also called for more "common sense gun reform," calling the shooting part of a "mass epidemic." California Sen. Kamala Harris asked how many more children would have "to watch their classmates get shot before Congress and the White House act?" (Read more)

8. FBI Currently Conducting 850 Domestic Terrorism Investigations - CNS News

In his opening statement to the House Homeland Security Committee at a hearing on the rise of domestic terrorism, Michael McGarrity, assistant director of the counterterrorism division of the FBI, said that despite successes from the "hard work" of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, "domestic terrorism continues to pose a persistent threat to the homeland."

"We currently have 850 predicated domestic terrorism investigations, and as we just saw a few weeks ago in California, the threat of domestic terrorism exists in every region of the United States and affects all walks of life," McGarrity said.

"We believe domestic terrorists pose a present and persistent threat of violence and economic harm to the United States; in fact, there have been more arrests and deaths caused by domestic terrorists than international terrorists in recent years. We are most concerned about lone offenders, primarily using firearms, as these lone offenders represent the dominant trend for lethal domestic terrorists. Frequently, these individuals act without a clear group affiliation or guidance, making them challenging to identify, investigate, and disrupt," he wrote. (Read more)
- Father, we pray for You to give our law enforcement supernatural insight into the plans of those who desire to do harm.

Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men. (Proverbs 2:12a)

9. Former FBI translator - who joined CAIR in an attempt to shut down terror screening database - charged with obstructing terror investigation - The Blaze

Last year, a Somali-American man was listed as a plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by the terror-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) against the Trump administration, as part of a concerted, transparent campaign to have a federal judge declare the U.S. government's terrorist screening database as unconstitutional.

Today, that man, Abdirizak Haji Raghe Wehelie, who served as an FBI translator from 2012-15, was charged on multiple counts related to his alleged interference with a federal terrorism investigation. According to the indictment, Wehelie misled investigators when they were scrutinizing a terrorism investigation involving unnamed individuals connected to Al-Shabaab, an Islamic terrorist group that operates in East Africa and controls territory in Somalia.

It remains unclear why Wehelie remained on the FBI's payroll for several years, given his family's well-established connections to radicalism. In 2017, Yusuf Wehelie - one of Wehelie's sons, who had been originally banned from entry - was sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempting to illegally transport high-powered weapons. In interviews with undercover informants, he discussed his willingness to target U.S. military recruitment centers on behalf of the Islamic State terrorist group. (Read more)
- Father, we thank You for removing this man from his place within the FBI. We also pray government watchdogs will find out how he was hired in the first place.

Remove wicked officials from the king's presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness. (Proverbs 25:5)

10. Washington school district wants teachers to bless Muslim students in Arabic during Ramadan, religious liberty group claims - Fox News

A religious liberty advocacy group is threatening to slap a Seattle-area school district with a lawsuit claiming the district has urged teachers to bless Muslim students in Arabic during the holy month of Ramadan and give them preferential treatment, including skipping tests.

The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF) claims the Dieringer School District is officially endorsing Islam and is following a script by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) that urges schools to make special accommodations for Muslim students and to wish them "Ramadan Mubarak," which means "Happy Ramadan," or "Ramadan Kareem," which means "Have a generous Ramadan."

Though there is nothing in the Constitution that prohibits public schools from accommodating students' religious exercise to the extent it would not interfere with educational interests, FCDF claims that by issuing CAIR recommendations to district employees, Martinson "acted under color of state law to create an official policy that has a primary effect of advancing religion. The Ramadan Policy, in both adoption and implementation, plainly imposes liability on the District under the United States and Washington Constitutions." (Read more)
- Father, we pray teachers will not be compelled to observe Ramadan in any of our schools around the nation.

You shall have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3)

11. Maduro providing a 'safe haven' for Iranian terrorists in the West, Pence says - Washington Examiner

Venezuelan strongman Nicolás Maduro is partnering with Iran to establish a beachhead for terrorist groups in the Western Hemisphere, Vice President Mike Pence warned Tuesday. "The Iranian regime has been working with Venezuela's corrupt dictatorship to establish a safe haven for its terrorist proxies," Pence said in an address before the Council of the Americas.

Maduro loyalists deny that Hezbollah, the preeminent terrorist subsidiary of Iran, has a presence in Venezuela, even though the regime's top diplomat traveled to Beirut to meet with a Hezbollah leader last month. U.S. officials have contradicted those denials for years, but Pence's State Department speech intensified the allegations just days after the dictator withstood an opposition-led call for a military uprising to overthrow the regime.

The vice president also denounced Maduro confidant and cabinet member Tareck El Aissami, who has been sanctioned by the United States as a drug kingpin and the European Union as a human rights violator. Pence described him as "a drug runner and a money launderer who partners with terrorist networks to bring Iran-backed terrorists into the country. Hezbollah is working to extend its dangerous network throughout Venezuela, and from there, throughout our hemisphere," Pence concluded.(Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for Mike Pence drawing attention to Iranian infiltration throughout Central and South America. We pray the United States will be successful in repelling this threat in our hemisphere.

For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

Progressive's own study warns against socialism

Many in the Democratic Party are trying to appeal to younger voters by promising a universal income and free college tuition. They are playing to the data that growing numbers of Millennials and Gen Z support socialism. This is a long-game politically because polls indicate that nearly 60% of Americans believe that socialism is not compatible with American values. That same Monmouth University Poll confirmed those under age 35 are 71% neutral or negative on capitalism. The younger voters are swinging far left in their political ideology. This is problematic when there is empirical evidence that socialism impoverishes populations, and takes away rights of free speech and religious freedom. But there is more.

A recent study conducted by New Economics Foundation, supported by Public Services International a pro-union organization that represents over 20 million public service workers, shows that one of socialism's basic underpinnings-universal minimum income-is an abject failure in bringing income equality and reversing poverty. The study, Universal Basic Income-A Union Perspective, surmises, "At the heart of the critique of UBIs contained in this brief is the failure of the most basic principle of progressive tax and expenditure, which can be summarized as "from each according to their ability, to each according to their need." The estimates of funds required to provide a UBI at anything other than token levels are well in excess of the entire welfare budget of most countries."

The study of 14 Universal Basic Income schemes, or what is called minimum income, revealed it's really a bad idea. It says, "Making cash payments to individuals to increase their purchasing power in a free-market economy is not a viable route to solving problems caused or exacerbated by neoliberal market economics; There is no evidence that any version of UBI can be affordable, inclusive, sufficient and sustainable at the same time; There is no evidence that UBI will help to increase the bargaining power of workers and trade unions or solve problems of low pay and precarious work." Still, the report persists, "We must not alienate the majority of UBI proponents who genuinely seek to build political power to tackle inequality, support the welfare state, deal with precarious work and fund public services."

Bottom line is that socialism/communism doesn't work. We see the historical evidence of it everywhere it is tried. As William Bradford described the Pilgrim's failed socialist experiment in "Of Plymouth Plantation": "The experience that was had in this common course and condition may well evince the vanity of that conceit of Plato's and other ancients applauded by some of later times; that the taking away of property and bringing in community into a commonwealth would make them happy and flourishing, as if they were wiser than God." In ending the socialist experiment that nearly ended the colony, Bradford wrote: " . . . God in his wisdom saw another course fitter for them." The first commandment, Exodus 20:1 says, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." That includes government. Moreover, Bradford is still right. Man is not wiser than God.

Have a blessed and powerful day,

One Year Ago . . .

One year after leaving the disastrous Iran deal

One year ago, President Trump officially withdrew the United States from the fatally flawed, one-sided Iran nuclear deal-under which Iran was free to sponsor terrorist networks, develop its missile force, and brutalize its own people. Today, the President imposed tough new sanctions to further deprive Iran of funds for its campaign of violent terror.

"We are successfully imposing the most powerful maximum pressure campaign ever witnessed, which today's action will further strengthen," President Trump said in a statement. "Tehran can expect further actions unless it fundamentally alters its conduct."

President Trump issued an executive order on Wednesday announcing new sanctions targeting Iran's steel, aluminum, copper and iron sectors, which provide foreign currency earnings for the Islamic Republic's crippled economy, as tensions escalate between Washington and Tehran. Earlier Wednesday, Iran threatened to enrich its uranium stockpile closer to weapons-grade levels in 60 days if world powers fail to negotiate new terms of the 2015 nuclear deal.

About the Deep State

Why Americans hate the swamp

Today is an example of why Congress' approval rating is 20 percent.

It doesn't take a polling expert to tell you that a majority of Americans want Washington to work on solving problems that make their lives better, not on advancing their own Beltway careers through noisy, never-ending spectacles of partisan theater.

Americans know the drill by now: Careerist politicians yell. They hold hearings. They call on witnesses. They make themselves look busy. And then they do nothing of actual substance to help the very people who elected them in the first place.

No ordinary citizen thinks for a second that Congressional Democrats are making a principled stand for a Constitution they readily ignored through eight years of Obama Administration executive overreach. Voters see how the political establishment treats the Constitution as a tool of convenience-useful to praise at times, then easily ignored when it gets in the way. Everyone knows today's performance is about one thing only: power.

Congressional Democrats don't even pretend to care about governing anymore. Not fixing our broken immigration system. Not rebuilding infrastructure. Not jobs. Not trade. Not manufacturing. Not anything the American people want and need Washington to help fix.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders released a statement today in response to House Democrats' ongoing refusal to accept the conclusions of the Mueller Report-and, by extension, their refusal to accept the legitimacy of the 2016 election. It reads in part:

The American people see through Chairman Nadler's desperate ploy to distract from the President's historically successful agenda and our booming economy. Neither the White House nor Attorney General Barr will comply with Chairman Nadler's unlawful and reckless demands . . . The American people deserve a Congress that is focused on solving real problems like the crisis at the border, high prescription drug prices, our country's crumbling infrastructure, and so much more.
Donald J. Trump is President largely because Americans couldn't stand another minute of Washington's do-nothing, business-as-usual, insider political circus. Today, in the halls of the United States Congress, the swamp proved that it hasn't listened to a single word of it.

Judicial Watch v. George Soros

Judicial Watch drops bomb on Soros

Judicial Watch has just dropped a major bomb on George Soros, as Judicial Watch today has revealed that the US Government has subsidized hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Soros and his foundations.

Of course these documents likely involve the Obama administration and of course the Department of State, as the State Department program known as USAID is known for sending millions of taxpayer dollars to Soros and his causes. These documents also officially confirm that US Intelligence agencies politically lean to the Left, as a 12 year veteran of the CIA who was an analyst for the CIA revealed just a few days back.

And of course this is proven through these documents that highlight the Federal Government giving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Soros and his causes. Hopefully this money has already been pulled under Trump. (IsraPundit) Read more.

A Word from our Readathon

A Word of Reflection from our Bible Readathon

I SHARE WITH YOU TONIGHT THE REPORT I RECEIVED THIS MORNING FROM MARY ANN WHO FACILITATED 4am - 6am. THEY WERE READING FROM 2nd CHRONICLES, CHAPTER 1 THROUGH NEHEMIAH, CHAPTER 9.

Submitted by:
Janet Dibble, National Administrator
CHPP Bible Reading Marathon

We started praying about how the people provoked the Lord until there was no remedy. As we continued into Ezra, we noted the importance of faithfulness in small things, and that the people kept doing what God wanted, even though they were afraid. They offered the proper offerings and kept building the temple until they were forced to stop. We declared the fear of the Lord over our nation.

God caused Darius to start the rebuilding of the temple again-we prayed that intercessors would not stop praying, and would be protected. We prayed that the Lord would make us joyful, as he did for the Israelites.

Ez 7:24-one of the scriptures that indicate churches and clergy should not be taxed; we prayed that our churches would remain tax-exempt. We prayed that the good hand of the Lord would be on us, and we would get understanding and fast as appropriate, because we tell people about how our God protects us-for God's name's sake.
We prayed that we would "sit astonished" as Ezra did (chapter 9), at the sin of the church, and would fast and pray in repentance. And we prayed for revival! We noted that the people who put away foreign wives were willing to pay a great price to come back to God-real repentance can be costly. We prayed that each of us would do the particular work assigned to us-with joy!

Dorothy prayed that the President will be able to get our southern wall built. And we prayed that we would not be afraid, but would remember God and fight; Neh 4:20-our God will fight for us! From Neh 5, Linda FL prayed that we would treat each other fairly and with love and kindness. We prayed for protection and discernment for President Trump-expose all those against him. We decided to read Neh 9 because of the repentance prayer, even though we went a bit over time. We prayed it on behalf of our nation, that we would repent and make a sure covenant with God, sealed by our leaders.

We ended by thanking God for the privilege of reading His Word over the land.

Asia Bibi - Free at Last!

Free at Last! Asia Bibi Touches down in Canada

It's one thing to be acquitted and another to be free. No one knows that better than Pakistani Christian Asia Bibi, who may have been released from prison last October but spent months living in fear for her life. For Bibi, who won a historic victory from nine-year-old blasphemy charges in court, the idea of seeing her children and living a somewhat normal life seemed impossible. Until now.

This morning, after weeks of grim reports on international religious liberty, people around the world finally got the news they'd been waiting for: the brave mom was finally safe on Canadian soil! "It is a big day," her attorney, Saiful Malook, told reporters. After seven months of living under guard, "Asia Bibi has left Pakistan and reached Canada. She has reunited with her family. Justice has been dispensed." Malook tipped his hat to the global cooperation that helped them smuggle Bibi out of Pakistan, where riots and protests carried on for days after her charges were overturned. At several points, no one was sure if Bibi would make it out alive on the streets where men held signs saying, "Hang Asia Bibi!"

Leaders around the world deserve credit, Malook insisted, for "st[anding] by Bibi in hard times and work[ing] for her freedom." Across North America, diplomats are breathing a sigh of relief. If there is a silver lining to the case, which resulted in the assassination of at least two of Bibi's outspoken defenders, it's that the world finally understands the danger of apostasy, blasphemy, and anti-conversion laws. Just last week, FRC released a report on the status of apostasy, blasphemy, and anti-conversion laws, which threaten the ability to freely live out, choose, or change one's faith.

In Asia Bibi's case, the only reason she was ever in prison is because fellow farm workers accused her of insulting Islam's Mohammed -- grounds in Pakistan and other places for death. Ultimately, the court couldn't prove the charges and threw them out. But, as FRC's Travis Weber points out, "This sad saga reminds us of the clear threat posed to religious freedom by the abuse of blasphemy laws. These laws -- which infringe on a proper conception of religious freedom -- would be bad enough on their face. Yet quite often, they aren't even used for their ostensible purpose, but become vehicles to settle personal disagreements and even political scores."

For now, though, we celebrate this great day for religious liberty -- and pray for Asia as she settles into her new life. Her flight to freedom is great to see, Travis agreed. "But we must not forget the many others suffering under blasphemy laws around the world -- laws that are still in place in many countries."

AMAZING GRACE

"I was blind, but now I see!" (John 9:25)

Lyrics

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
