1. Report: Trump to oppose Palestinian 'Right of Return' - World Israel News

President Donald Trump will announce the US rejection of the Palestinian "Right of Return" in the next several days, Israel's Hadashot TV reported Saturday. The Palestinians claim refugee status for five million people, which includes millions of descendants of the approximately 700,000 original refugees who were living in British Mandatory Palestine, or what is now the State of Israel, and were displaced during the 1948 War of Independence.

These descendants of refugees, supported by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA), live in Judea and Samaria, the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

The majority of the original refugees are no longer alive.

3. Netanyahu: No urgency for Trump to present peace plan - World Israel News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he saw no pressing need for US President Donald Trump to unveil his long-awaited Middle East peace plan.

"It's his issue if he wants to promote it," Netanyahu told reporters during his ongoing visit to Lithuania. "From time to time he says things about it, and it can come, even though I don't see urgency in this matter."

Questioned about the Palestinians' refusal to engage with the Trump administration on the peace issue, Netanyahu stated, "The Americans are thinking about it, they're not blind, but I don't know - when they propose it, we'll see."

Trump has spoken a number of times of his desire to broker the "deal of the century" between Israel and the Palestinians.

4. Russian Warships Heading for Syria - Breaking Israel News

It was reported Turkey sighted three Russian warships passing through the Bosporus last Thursday en route to Syria.

Debka File, an Israeli military intelligence website, reported on Saturday that the armada, composed of the Krivak Class Pytlivy missile frigate, the Tapir class LST (tank landing ship) Orsk, and a landing craft, the Nikolai Filchenko. The Filchenko is the largest landing craft in the Russian fleet capable of transporting 300 soldiers and either 20 tanks and trucks or 40 armored personnel carriers.

"Debka File's military sources conclude that the two large Russian landing craft consigned from the Black Sea to Syria are almost certainly carrying Russian marines or special forces for attacking rebel groups in Idlib from the sea or the coast," the site reported.

5. With violence 'significantly reduced,' Israel to reopen Erez crossing to Gaza - Times of Israel

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman announced on Sunday that he will open the Erez Crossing on the Gaza Strip's northern border beginning on Monday, due to the "significantly reduced" number of violent incidents stemming from the Hamas-run coastal enclave. The border crossing, which acts as the only pedestrian crossing between the Gaza Strip and Israel, has been closed for the past week.

The Defense Ministry statement said the decision to reopen the crossing came "in light of the security calm that was upheld over the past week and the significantly reduced [number] of [violent] incidents."

However, the past week has seen violent border protests and some arson kites flown into Israel.

1. President Trump Tweets 'Deepest Sympathies' After John McCain's Death - TIME

President Donald Trump tweeted "deepest sympathies and respect" for the family of John McCain shortly after the senator died Saturday after a battle with brain cancer.

"My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!" he tweeted.

Trump's reelection campaign later released a statement that read: "All of us at the Trump Campaign offer our sincere condolences to the family of Senator John McCain following his passing this evening. We encourage all Americans to take the opportunity to remember Senator McCain and his family in their prayers on this sad occasion." (Read more)

- Father, we pray the good things John McCain did for our nation will remain and honor him. We ask You to help the state of Arizona choose a new Senator who will honor You and represent the people with integrity.

- "Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart." (Ecclesiastes 7:2)

2. Ohio GOP state Sen. Troy Balderson wins US House special election - Fox News

Republican Ohio state Sen. Troy Balderson was certified the winner of Ohio's 12th Congressional District on Friday, denying Democrats the major upset they had sought ahead of the November midterm elections. The Trump-backed Balderson had declared victory over Democrat Danny O'Connor on Aug. 7, but O'Connor had declined to concede because of the small margin. According to the Associated Press, after final absentee and provisional ballots were counted, Balderson defeated O'Connor by 1,680 votes - a mere 0.8-percent margin in a district Trump won by 11 points two years ago. Balderson takes the seat previously held by Republican Pat Tiberi, who resigned in January to take another job. But Balderson and O'Connor will face each other again in November for a full term.

Balderson's victory buoys Republicans concerned over how Trump might be playing among voters, especially in political battleground states such as Ohio. O'Connor's odds were considered long in the gerrymandered district, which has been held by Republicans for nearly 35 years. (Read more)

- Father, how thankful we are for Your overshadowing hand in bringing Sen. Troy Balderson through to win this election. We pray Your presence will be upon him to be extremely successful as he fulfills this position. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He will save us." (Isaiah 33:22)

3. Rand Paul's bid to defund Planned Parenthood - Washington Examiner

The Kentucky senator late last week signaled that he would offer an amendment to the appropriations bill funding the departments of Labor and Health and Human Services, the relevant legislative vehicle for the Planned Parenthood funding ban. By a vote of 45 to 48, his amendment was rejected. It would have would barred Planned Parenthood and other abortion outlets from receiving federal funding.

In a statement announcing his amendment, Paul said, "One of the top priorities for a Republican Congress that professes pro-life values on the campaign trail should be to stop taxpayer funding for abortion providers." He added, "This is our chance to turn our words into action, stand up for the sanctity of life, and speak out for the most innocent among us that have no voice."

LifeSiteNews.com reported that Planned Parenthood received more than $543 million in fiscal year 2016-2017. The site added, "It is forbidden from spending that money directly on most abortions, but pro-lifers warn that subsidies earmarked for non-abortion purposes ultimately enable abortion groups to commit more abortions by freeing up money from their other revenue services. Duke University healthcare analyst Chris Conover estimates that taxpayers end up covering almost 25 percent of all abortion costs." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that by an ACT OF GOD, abortions will be banned all over the United States. Only the exception of death to the mother will an abortion be given. God, withhold all abortions by the end of 2018. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.

- "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good." (Romans 12:9)

4. Trump cancels Pompeo's N. Korea visit: 'We are not making sufficient progress' - Washington Times

President Trump announced Friday that he instructed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo not to go to North Korea, citing a lack of progress towards denuclearization. Mr. Pompeo announced Thursday that he would make his fourth trip to North Korea next week. Stephen Biegun, the newly appointed special representative to North Korea, was meant to be joining the trip. State Department officials said Thursday there was "no expectation" Mr. Pompeo would meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on the visit.

The president blamed the ongoing trade war with China for being at least partially responsible for the stalemate with North Korea. He no longer believes China is "helping with the progress of denuclearization as they once were." He said that Mr. Pompeo will return to North Korea "in the near future" once the trade dispute is settled.

Mr. Trump's criticism of China comes after he touted his relationship with President Xi Jinping during an interview Thursday with Fox News. "I get along great with President Xi," he said, "But I can no longer give you $5 billion in bad trade deals." Mr. Trump acknowledged his tough trade policies during the Fox interview, saying the only reason China didn't face tariffs sooner was so that he could secure its help with North Korea. "And China's been a big help with North Korea. I hope they continue to be," he said. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for the wisdom You have given President Trump in handling this matter with North Korea and China. We pray he be unmovable in his convictions and the God of the Universe stand by his side and protect his leadership with integrity and honor. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9)

5. Trump unleashes troop-level diplomacy - Washington Times

President Trump says he wants to bring U.S. troops home from Syria, the Korean Peninsula, Europe and elsewhere and unload part of America's military burden onto other nations, but his "default position" meets stiff headwinds inside the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill, defense insiders and experts say.

Analysts say Mr. Trump believes it's in the nation's best interest to bring at least some troops home, but his position routinely meets institutionalized resistance among Defense Department officials and hawks in Congress. Knowing that he may not be able to follow through with his goal, the president relies on the mere mention of troop withdrawal as a negotiating tool with defense officials, continually forcing them to justify troop deployments anywhere in the world, analysts say. "It puts the leaders in the military on notice that everything has to have a continuing case," said retired Army Gen. Thomas Spoehr, who now serves as director of the Center for National Defense at the conservative Heritage Foundation. "The president has a default position which says, 'Evaluate everything. If it's not serving our interests, reduce it, eliminate it,'" Mr. Spoehr said. (Read more)

- Lord Almighty, we cry out to the Most High God that what President Trump desires to accomplish by bringing all U.S. troops home from these countries will be done. We pray the power of God in heaven will push this through and be accomplished even now, today. Through the Power of the Blood of Jesus, we pray You will bind the opposition from the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, Defense Department, hawks in Congress and any others of like mind. Close off the enemy, my God, and bring our troops home. Employ those in other countries to stand up to the task. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." (Romans 13:1)

6. Bolton Confirms That the U.S. Will Defund UN Human Rights Office - CNS News

National Security Advisor John Bolton on Thursday reaffirmed that the administration's withdrawal from the U.N. Human Rights Council is being accompanied by an end to U.S. funding for the world body's human rights office. U.S. taxpayers have long paid the largest share. Bolton told the Associated Press in Geneva that the U.S. will defund the HRC and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), by reducing by the relevant amount the sum that it pays into the regular U.N. operating budget.

CNSNews.com reported on the defunding decision in June, on the same day Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley announced President Trump's decision to exit the HRC. Haley said in June that the decision to leave the HRC followed unsuccessful efforts to fix problems including the presence of rights-abusers in its ranks and a skewed focus on Israel.

She stressed the administration will continue to promote human rights outside that forum, pointing to past U.S. initiatives in the U.N. Security Council, including a first-ever session "dedicated to the connection between human rights and peace and security" last year, and a session last January focused on human rights in Iran. (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray that the actions of John Bolton will remain solid and protected from the onslaughts of enemy forces. Close the mouths of the lions who are self-serving. Establish a wall of protection around the United States and President Trump. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)

7. Tech Companies Are Gathering For A Secret Meeting To Prepare A 2018 Election Strategy - BuzzFeed

Representatives from a host of the biggest US tech companies, including Facebook and Twitter, have scheduled a private meeting for Friday to share their tactics in preparation for the 2018 midterm elections. Last week, Facebook's head of cybersecurity policy, Nathaniel Gleicher, invited employees from a dozen companies, including Google, Microsoft, and Snapchat, to gather at Twitter's headquarters in downtown San Francisco, according to an email obtained by BuzzFeed News.

"As I've mentioned to several of you over the last few weeks, we have been looking to schedule a follow-on discussion to our industry conversation about information operations, election protection, and the work we are all doing to tackle these challenges," Gleicher wrote. The meeting, the Facebook official wrote, will have a three-part agenda: each company will present the work they've been doing to counter information operations; there will be a discussion period for problems each company faces; and a talk about whether such a meeting should become a regular occurrence.

The meeting highlights tech companies' recent efforts to be more proactive with governments' use of their sites to achieve political goals. Several companies have announced operations this week where they partnered with other organizations to address such problems. (Read more)

- Lord God, we invite Your presence to be in this meeting so that all formidable forces be dislodged and dismayed and disconnected from each other. Hold each tech company to be subject to the watchful eyes of the Lord God in heaven. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever." (Philippians 4:20)

8. Democrats Are Leaving Their Party in Droves. Conservatives Should Pay Attention. - Daily Signal

Two thousand years ago, St. Paul found himself blinded by a bright light on the road to Damascus. The dramatic experience led him to stop persecuting his opponents and to take up new beliefs. Today, many former leftists are taking their first steps on their own road to Damascus, and the right is not doing nearly enough to capitalize on this unprecedented mass exit from the left. It all began just a few short weeks ago when gay New York hairdresser Brandon Straka posted a hard-hitting video explaining why he is no longer a Democrat or a liberal. Since then, his #WalkAway Campaign Facebook group has attracted more than 172,000 members. A multitude of videos from other WalkAways have been posted online.

Make no mistake, the left has been greatly rattled by all this. The left's treatment of the #WalkAway Campaign mirrors the way it reacted to the Tea Party movement. First, it ignored it, hoping it would go away. Then it moved on to minimizing and attempting ridicule, which it has done with #WalkAway. (Read more)

- Almighty God, bless those who are following the conservative thinking mindset and making sound choices to drop the deceptive ways of the Democratic Party and move away from their doctrine. Praise the Lord. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "And having spoiled principalities and powers, God made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:15)

9. FEC Records Indicate Hillary Campaign Illegally Laundered $84 Million - The Federalist

The mainstream media took no notice of last week's federal court filing that exposes an $84 million money-laundering conspiracy the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign executed during the 2016 presidential election in violation of federal campaign-finance law.

That lawsuit, filed last week in a DC district court, summarizes the DNC-Clinton conspiracy and provides detailed evidence from Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings confirming the complaint's allegations that Democrats undertook an extensive scheme to violate federal campaign limits.

Dan Backer, a campaign-finance lawyer and attorney-of-record in the lawsuit, explained the underlying law in an article for Investor's Business Daily: Under federal law, "an individual donor can contribute $2,700 to any candidate, $10,000 to any state party committee, and (during the 2016 cycle) $33,400 to a national party's main account. These groups can all get together and take a single check from a donor for the sum of those contribution limits-it's legal because the donor cannot exceed the base limit for any one recipient. And state parties can make unlimited transfer to their national party."

There was "extensive evidence in the Democrats' own FEC reports, when coupled with their own public statements that demonstrated massive straw man contributions papered through the state parties, to the DNC, and then directly to Clinton's campaign-in clear violation of federal campaign-finance law." (Read more)

- Almighty God, remove the power of the undercover hidden government that controls the media and slanders the truth. We pray You will expose all of Hillary Clinton's violations of federal campaign-finance law as DNC-Clinton conspiracy. God, we pray the indictments and charges made against her deception will be acted upon she be brought to justice. We ask in the Name of Jesus.

- "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil." (I Thessalonians 5:21-22)

10. Despite Comey Assurances, Vast Bulk of Weiner Laptop Emails Were Never Examined - Real Clear Investigations

When then-FBI Director James Comey announced he was closing the Hillary Clinton email investigation for a second time just days before the 2016 election, he certified to Congress that his agency had "reviewed all of the communications" discovered on a personal laptop used by Clinton's closest aide, Huma Abedin, and her husband, Anthony Weiner. At the time, many wondered how investigators managed over the course of one week to read the "hundreds of thousands" of emails residing on the machine, which had been a focus of a sex-crimes investigation of Weiner, a former Congressman.

Comey later told Congress that "thanks to the wizardry of our technology," the FBI was able to eliminate the vast majority of messages as "duplicates" of emails they'd previously seen. Tireless agents, he claimed, then worked "night after night after night" to scrutinize the remaining material. But virtually none of his account was true, a growing body of evidence reveals.

In fact, a technical glitch prevented FBI technicians from accurately comparing the new emails with the old emails. Only 3,077 of the 694,000 emails were directly reviewed for classified or incriminating information. Three FBI officials completed that work in a single 12-hour spurt the day before Comey again cleared Clinton of criminal charges.

RealClearInvestigations pieced together the FBI's handling of the massive new email discovery from the "Weiner laptop." This months-long investigation included a review of federal court records and affidavits, cellphone text messages, and emails sent by key FBI personnel, along with internal bureau memos, reviews and meeting notes documented in government reports. Information also was gleaned through interviews with FBI agents and supervisors, prosecutors and other law enforcement officials, as well as congressional investigators and public-interest lawyers.

"There was no real investigation and no real search," said Michael Biasello, a 27-year veteran of the FBI. "It was all just show - eyewash - to make it look like there was an investigation before the election." (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that James Comey will be held responsible for spoliation of evidence regarding the emails that were tampered with. Lord, move powerfully to expose all sin, all unlawful deeds, all coverup activities and bring out the absolute truth for all the world to see regarding Mrs. Clinton's deception and breaking the law on every count. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
( I Thessalonians 5:3)

11. Former Top Vatican Official Calls on Pope to Resign amid Abuse Crisis - Newsmax

The Vatican's retired ambassador to the United States has penned an 11-page letter accusing senior Vatican officials of knowing as early as 2000 that the disgraced former archbishop of Washington, ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, regularly invited seminarians into his bed but they still promoted him to cardinal.

The letter, an extraordinary j'accuse from a one-time Holy See diplomat, also accuses Pope Francis of having initially rehabilitated McCarrick despite being informed of his penchant for young seminarians in 2013, soon after he was elected pope.

The National Catholic Register and another conservative site, LifeSiteNews, published the letter attributed to Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano on Sunday as the pope was wrapping up a two-day visit to Ireland.

Vigano, 77, a conservative whose hard-line anti-gay views are well known, also urged the reformist pope to resign over the issue. He and the pope have long been on opposite ideological sides, with the pope more a pastor and Vigano more a cultural warrior.

The Vatican didn't immediately comment on the letter or confirm its authenticity. (Read more)

- Father, we have sensed Your Spirit doing a work of cleansing throughout Your whole church. We pray these words of rebuke from Archbishop Viganò will be heeded, bringing the accountability needed to reform the Catholic church. We also lift up individual Catholics, many of whom are experiencing a crisis of faith. We pray, Lord, even as their faith in Catholicism is shaken, they will find the foundation of their faith, Jesus, can never be shaken.

- May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
(1 Thessalonians 3:13)

Conspiracy 3-Tech Giants

There is a real danger to representative government and Christianity when free speech is oppressed. Of course, the First Amendment states that the government cannot abridge free speech. That doesn't mean, however, that corporations-non-government entities-have to allow free speech. But in this day and age, there is a great danger to free speech when large ubiquitous platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Google, Microsoft, and others begin to not only censure speech, but target the speech of those with which they disagree. These platforms have been built on free speech and people use them to express themselves socially, politically and economically. Now, however, there is a new danger of tyranny.

These aforementioned companies are holding a secret meeting (not so secret now thanks to Buzzfeed News) to plot their midterm election strategy. BuzzFeed reports it obtained an email invitation from Facebook's head of cybersecurity to employees from a dozen tech giants to Twitter's headquarters for "a follow-on discussion to our industry conversation about information operations, election protection, and the work we are all doing to tackle these challenges." Given that these companies recently have moved to prohibit many conservative voices in the name of hate speech, but not visceral liberal voices, should give everyone pause about the very real conspiracy to influence the mid-term elections.

Remember that the immediate past "president" accessed some 190 million people's private information without their consent from Facebook during his re-election campaign. Carol Davidsen, a former campaign official for the ex-president tweeted March 18, "They (Facebook) came to office in the days following election recruiting & were very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldn't have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side." It's no secret that these tech giants are globalists that favor leftist ideology. By virtue of their agreements with the previous Administration to allow spying on Americans, use of private information for campaign purposes, and censorship of opposition, it is a very deep concern that these platforms, not the Russians, are conspiring against the current White House.

Indeed, leftist billionaire George Soros organization Media Matters For America is working a plan over social media to identify and discredit what it calls "fake news" and "propaganda" from conservatives-which it says is anything that supports the Trump Administration. On May 17, Facebook announced it was launching a joint effort with the Atlantic Council to prevent its service "to be abused during elections" by monitoring content to "spot" abuse. Soros and many of his pass-through organizations financially support the Atlantic Council. The Apostle Paul offers good advice in Romans 16:17-18, ". . . mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them. For they . . . by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple."

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS

"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling." (Ephesians 4:4)

Lyrics

1 Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, With the cross of Jesus going on before! Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe; Forward into battle, see his banner go!

Refrain:

Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
going on before!

2 At the sign of triumph Satan's host doth flee; On, then, Christian soldiers, on to victory! Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise; Brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise! [Refrain]
3 Like a mighty army moves the church of God; Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod; We are not divided; all one body we, One in hope and doctrine, one in charity. [Refrain]

4 Onward, then, ye people, join our happy throng, Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song; Glory, laud, and honor, unto Christ the King; This thro' countless ages men and angels sing. [Refrain]

The Earth is Shaken Violently Like a Shack

August 26, 2018

"The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard And it totters like a shack, For its transgression is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again."
(Isaiah 24:19-20)

During the past week the earth has been violently shaken by an unprecedented 144 major earthquakes! During the midst of the last seven days we have seen an enormous 7.3 earthquake hitVenezuela, and an 8.2 quake hit the island of Fiji.

Incredibly, a week ago this past Sunday the earth was struck by an astounding 50 plus earthquakes.

These are not small earthquakes! The USGS says that any earthquake over 4.5 is a significant one. Right now, earthquakes are happening so fast around the globe it is hard to keep up with them.

It is interesting to note that Jesus prophesied regarding one of the signs in the last days, when "Birth Pangs" would come upon the earth, there would be earthquakes!

(Matthew 24:6-8)

"You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs."
The prophet Isaiah prophesied the earth would be "broken asunder, split through, and shaken violently The earth would reel to and fro like a drunkard, and totter like a shack." Ask yourself, "What is Isaiah describing and prophesying in these verses?" He is prophesying earthquakes! Earthquakes so strong they could even possibly cause the earth's axis to shift!

"I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke." (Acts 2:19)

It's Going to be an Outpouring of God's Spirit:'

Powerful Move of Reconciliation Set for
Stone Mountain, GA

[CBN News] Georgia's iconic Stone Mountain has long been a symbol of racial division, emblazoned with depictions of Confederate war heroes.

But on Saturday, August 25, thousands from across denominational and racial lines, will hike to the top of the mountain to pray for healing and racial reconciliation.

It's all part of an event called, "One Race."

"We feel like God's identified two historic strongholds that are real places of division in the city of Atlanta, and that's dead religion and pharisaical religion that causes us to cloister in our denominational huddles," Hazen Stevens, a director with "One Race" told CBN News during a recent episode of The Prayerlink.

"Also, the racial divide causes us to stick together in our individual cultures, and we feel like when the Church is united across the denominations and across cultures with a spirit of prayer, we know united prayer and intercession always precedes the outpouring of God's spirit," Hazen explained.

"So, we feel like if we can bring people together across denominations and across cultures for the purpose of reconciliation or revival, we believe it's going to produce an outpouring of God's Spirit in this city," he added. Josh Clemons, also of "One Race," believes the event is timely.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
