Time to Repent

Holy Spirit Fire Burns Away the Dross

"Remove the dross from the silver, and a vessel for a silversmith will come forth." ~ Proverbs 25:4

Dear Christian Warriors:

For the fifth year in a row a raging forest fire is on the edge of my community in California. The hills are black.

Wood, hay, stubble--- worldly goods are now easily seen as expendable. Hanging on to God's Robe is experienced as vital.

I repent for all the time I've spend accumulating worldly stuff which can all be gone in an instant.

The fires in California are a result of a seven year drought. Following 2 Chronicles 7:13 God has done what He said He was going to do: He has withheld the rain.

He withheld it because our state stands increasingly for wicked practices. It now may rank as the most wicked of our fifty states. Our legislature, governor, and courts place the stamp of authority on practices that are an abomination to the Lord: abortion, same sex marriage, pornography, greed, idolatry, focus on mammon, rebellion against authority, mind-destroying drugs, restrictions on religious freedom, euthanasia. The stench keeps rising.

Attempting to shove God aside, there seems to be a demonic race to public wickedness.

Governor Brown claims the fires are a result of "global warming." No, God is in charge;

it's His "GLOBAL WARNING."
God's time-tested, Scriptural solution to this situation is for His people, called by His name, to humble themselves, to pray, to seek His face, and to turn from their wicked ways. Only when those four steps are taken will the Lord hear from heaven, forgive sin, and heal a land which had been in covenant with Him.
Again, we need to see this simple prescription for national sin:

#1) HUMBLE YOURSELF---Personally, as well as nationally.
#2) PRAY---for God's Justice, Mercy and Restoration
#3) SEEK---His Face instead of only His blessings
#4) TURN AWAY---from wicked ways. STOP doing them!

We must STOP slaughtering innocents, STOP promoting perversions, STOP removing God Almighty from our public square and STOP betraying the Throne of David (Yeshua).
(Read all by going here.)
"Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." ~ 2 Corinthians 7:1
