The enemy's plans to take down President Trump,

On last night's NIGHTWATCH, we came before our Lord as we were hearing a common word regarding these elections this fall: OCTOBER SURPRISE.
I did not really understand what Abba was saying to us, as the October Surprise strategy has been used over the years to bring a last-minute move of sabotage (and treason) against a sitting President, thereby causing him to lose his election.
But in November, we are not voting for a President . . . "only" a new Congress.
So, as we pressed in to hear what our Lord was saying, we were led to check our calendars and guess what? We discovered that, as of this past Tuesday (the night we were in prayer), only TWELVE WEEKS remained until Election Day!
TWELVE WEEKS!
We were then quickened to recall the twelve tribes of Israel - the twelve sons of Jacob . . . but we realized that there are also TWELVE TRIBES OF ESAU who stand in opposition to the tribes of Jacob!
THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST THAT IS WARRING AGAINST THE SONS OF GOD, ATTEMPTING TO BLOCK THE EMERGENCE OF HIS COMING KINGDOM.
WOW!
So . . . THE BATTLE IS NOW ON; AND THE FIGHT HAS ALREADY BEGUN. (Week #1 has been the battle against racism . . .)
Satan's plan is not to create ONE "October Surprise" this fall through an act of treason . . . but TWELVE "surprises" -- each one designed to challenge one of the President's agenda and that of the Republican Party. . . . The enemy plans not to create one shredder that will disrupt our election, but rather TWELVE shredders designed in the end to leave the Republican party "in shreds" and President Trump's rule in danger.
BUT GOD!
We invite you now to join us in engaging in these TWELVE WEEKS OF WARFARE: each week with a specific prayer focus, an act of repentance, and prayer points and decrees to activate as you can. Let's put their shredder into the shredder of our Lord: dismantling their schemes and crying out for their souls, that each one might be set free, in the end, to worship our Lord and to worship Him only. AMEN!
As we enter into this 12-week prayer assignment, we realize that these are actually treasonous strategies that have been set in place to take down our sitting President.
TREASON (noun) - defined as:
1. the offense of acting to overthrow one's government or to harm or kill its sovereign.
2. a violation of allegiance to one's sovereign or to one's state.
3. the betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery.
Each week, we invite you to stand against these acts or plans of treason, speaking forgiveness to our enemies and blessing them as Scripture command us to do; offering repentance for each issue raised; and declaring and decreeing God's TRUTH in the midst of the lies of the enemy.
May His will be done and May His kingdom come; and may our Lord get Himself GLORY for the prayers we shall offer now.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Eph. 6:12)

1. Palestinians Plan to Expel Israel from the UN - Jerusalem Online
After the failed attempt by Palestinians to expel Israel from FIFA in October last year, they seem determined to go after a goal of much greater magnitude.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli embassy to the UN are preparing to thwart a Palestinian action aimed at permanently suspending or eliminating Israel from the international organization, according to reports. The Palestinians will argue that Israel does not take into account the resolutions of the UN Security Council, defies the Charter of the United Nations and encourages an apartheid regime through the new Basic Law "Israel: Nation-State of the Jewish People" .

2. Hezbollah is now stronger than Israel, Nasrallah declares - Israel Hayom
Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah, declared on Tuesday that his organization was stronger than ever and would "very soon" celebrate victory in Syria, where its Iran-backed militia has been fighting alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Speaking on live television on the anniversary of a 2006 war Hezbollah fought with Israel, which regards Iran as its biggest foe and Hezbollah as the top threat on its borders, Nasrallah said that "The resistance in Lebanon today, in its possession of weapons and equipment and capabilities and members and cadres and ability and expertise and experience, and also of faith and determination and courage and will, is stronger than at any time since its launch in the region." He added that Hezbollah is not scared of a possible war with Israel. "No one should threaten us with war and no one should scare us by war," he said. "We are not scared or worried about war and we are ready for it and we will be victorious."

3. Abbas: Palestinians and Arab Israelis united against 'racist' nation-state law - Times of Israel
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday said Palestinians and Arab Israelis stand together against Israel's quasi-constitutional nation-state law. Abbas made the comments at the start of a meeting of the Palestinian Central Council, the PLO's second highest decision-making body, in Ramallah.
"What Israel is doing now in this clear and scandalous manner is absolutely intolerable," Abbas said, referring to the nation-state law. "Therefore, we are united against this racist and fascist law," he added, speaking of Palestinians and Arab Israelis.

4. Hamas's fake Red Alert app used to hack Israeli phones, say cyber-security pros- jns.org
Israeli cyber-intelligence firm ClearSky has warned that Hamas is attempting to implant spyware on the mobile phones of Israelis who download a fraudulent Red Alert rocket-siren app. The company's security researches said last week that the spyware redirects users to a fraudulent website to download the malicious app, and warned consumers to beware of downloading apps from fake Facebook profiles or botnets on Twitter.
Once downloaded, the app takes control of the phone, allowing hackers to exploit the full range of the phone's abilities, including to track the user's location, take photos, record audio, send messages and make calls. It cannot be removed from the phone once installed.

5. Health Ministry urges calm as more Golan waterways said to be contaminated - Times of Israel
The Health Ministry on Wednesday urged the public to remain calm and encouraged vacationers in northern Israel not to alter their plans, while confirming that additional waterways in the area are believed to be carrying a bacterial infection that has sparked a major scare.
"The Health Ministry wants to calm the public and calls on it to continue as normal with regard to visits to nature reserves and northern Israel," a statement said. "At the same time, it is important to follow the guidelines as the ministry extends its warnings to additional streams that are forbidden to enter." A health official said authorities were considering closing off more rivers and streams in the Golan Heights - including the Jordan River - possibly for months, as more people were hospitalized with symptoms feared to be leptospirosis, a bacterial disease that can be fatal and is transmitted via animal urine.

2. Trump revokes John Brennan's security clearance over 'erratic' conduct - Washington Examiner
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders made the announcement Wednesday, weeks after revealing that Trump was considering revoking the security clearances of a half-dozen former U.S. officials.
"As the head of the executive branch and the commander in chief, I have a unique constitutional responsibility to protect the nation's classified information, including by controlling access to it," Sanders said in a statement from the president Wednesday. "Today, in fulfilling the responsibility, I have decided to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan, the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency."
"At this point in my administration, any benefits that senior officials might glean from consultations with Mr. Brennan are now outweighed by the risks posed by his erratic conduct and behavior," Sanders said. Individuals that remain under review include former FBI Director James Comey, former national security adviser Susan Rice, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe. Sanders added former deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr to the list on Wednesday.
"The president has a constitutional responsibility to protect classified information and who has access to it," she said. (Read more)

3. White House: ISIS 'Caliphate Has Been Destroyed' - Newsmax
The Islamic State (ISIS) has been severely weakened by way of the destruction of its caliphate, the White House said Tuesday. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked about ISIS and its estimated force of around 30,000 militants during the daily briefing. "We know the caliphate has been destroyed," Sanders said. "There's certainly ISIS fighters. That's why we take all of those threats seriously and look for ways to defeat them and protect the American people and our allies."
The United Nations released a report in which it concluded ISIS has 30,000 fighters, equally distributed between Iraq and Syria. The terror group was defeated in its de facto capital of Raqqa, Syria last fall, which sent its members fleeing to other parts of the war-torn nation. (Read more)

4. Editors' collusion against Trump likely self-destructive - One News Now
In a coordinated effort on Thursday, more than a hundred newspapers around the country will publish anti-Trump editorials. The Boston Globe is organizing the effort. Deputy managing editor Marjorie Pritchard appealed to her fellow editors to combat the "dirty war on the free press" by penning their own unique op-eds. "The impact of Trump's assault on journalism looks different in Boise than it does in Boston," Pritchard wrote.
Nationally syndicated talk-show host Kevin McCullough says while the verbal attacks by the president might be unusual, it takes two to fight. "The problem that the media has had with their reaction to Trump - on whether or not his claims are true - is that they've taken it personally and they've forgotten to be the objective observer," he states.
And they aren't doing themselves any favors with their editorials either, says McCullough. "They run the risk of ruining their own profitability if they do anything other than report stories as they happen and try to give opinion that's based on facts," he suggests. (Read more)

5. Trump touts GOP election wins: 'We have the team we want' - The Hill
President Trump on Wednesday praised the results of Tuesday's GOP primaries, declaring that the Republican Party had "the team we want" heading into the November midterm elections and tweeting a number of congratulatory messages. Trump's tweet comes after one of his critics, former Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R), lost his gubernatorial primary bid to Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson (R), who attacked Pawlenty throughout the campaign for his insufficient support of the president.
Wisconsin state Sen. Leah Vukmir (R) successfully fought off criticisms of her own supposedly insufficient support for the president. Vukmir is now set to face Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) in November as Republicans hope they can topple the vulnerable senator in a state that Trump narrowly won in the 2016 election. Another Trump supporter, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R), was also declared the winner Tuesday in the state's gubernatorial primary after the state's governor, Jeff Colyer (R), conceded last week's primary race to Kobach.
The president issued a slew of other congratulatory messages to Republicans on Wednesday, praising Minnesota GOP candidates Jeff Johnson and Pete Stauber and Wisconsin Republican House candidate Bryan Steil while also endorsing Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) for reelection. The president also praised GOP Connecticut governor hopeful Bob Stefanowski saying, "It is about time that Connecticut had a real and talented Governor." (Read more)

6. Walker wins Wis., Minn. saves Ellison, Dems pick trans for Vt. Gov - One News Now
Even after allegations of domestic abuse - not to mention his exposed ties to Islamic terrorist groups - Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) won the Democratic primary Tuesday night for attorney general. He was accused by his ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan, and her sons of verbal threats and physical abuse over the weekend. A first for Minnesota - which has one of the highest Somali refugee populations in the nation - was registered, courtesy of Democratic voters, who moved a Somali-American up to the midterms in November.
"Ilhan Omar - a state legislator who last year became the first Somali-American to win public office - won the Democratic primary for the state's Fifth District," the New York Times reported. "Ms. Omar, who is Muslim, is poised to become one of the first Muslim women to serve in Congress, along with Rashida Tlaib of Michigan."
"[I]n Wisconsin, Democrats making yet another effort to unseat Republican Scott Walker have nominated state schools chief Tony Evers," Re informed. "Evers emerged from a field of eight candidates in Tuesday's primary. He was the only candidate to have won election statewide before and now faces his biggest challenge against Walker, who has built up a huge financial advantage."
For the first time, Vermont voted for a transgender candidate as their nominee for governor, as former Vermont utility executive, "Christine" Hallquist, beat out her Democratic opponent. Hallquist will be going head-to-head with his Republican incumbent rival, Gov. Phil Scott (R-Vt.), who has been beleaguered by his own party for supporting gun restrictions.
There were more pivotal selections made on the Democrats' side in Connecticut, as a candidate with no political experience won a race - and may become the first African-American Democrat in the small New England state to hold a congressional seat. "Jahana Hayes - who was named 'National Teacher of the Year' by President Barack Obama in 2016 - won the Democratic primary in Connecticut's Fifth District despite having no formal political experience," the Times' Astead W. Herndon and Jonathan Martin stated. "Because the seat is a reliably Democratic district, Ms. Hayes is likely to become the first black Democrat to serve in Congress from Connecticut."
"[Hayes] continued a trend in which progressives have experienced their biggest wins in safe Democratic districts," Herndon and Martin continued. "While progressives running in statewide races like Abdul El-Sayed have not been successful - he lost last week in Michigan - Ms. Hayes is in the mold of victorious progressives like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the New York City activist who beat longtime Representative Joseph Crowley in a June primary. In both of these cases - as with Ms. Omar and Ms. Hayes - Democratic voters have shown themselves more likely to opt for progressive candidates in districts that will be reliably blue come November." 7. Trump Admin. Directive Protects Faith-Based Contractors From LGBT Discrimination Policy - Christian Post
The Trump administration has issued a directive to protect the rights of faith-based federal contractors who have religious objections to same-sex marriage and homosexuality. On Friday, the Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs issued the directive to "incorporate recent developments in the law regarding religion-exercising organizations and individuals."
Specifically, the directive cites three recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings and executive orders on religious freedom issued by President Donald Trump. The agency suggests that while discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity are still not permitted under Executive Order 11246 (as amended by former President Barack Obama in 2014), the First Amendment rights of companies and individuals who have religious objections to homosexuality will be protected.
Additionally, faith-based groups must be given a level playing field when competing for government contracts, the directive states. Top of FormThe new directive has been applauded by social conservatives. Among them is Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., who is the co-chair of the Congressional Prayer Caucus and a former Baptist youth leader. (Read more)

8. Colorado 'On a Crusade to Crush' Masterpiece Cakeshop, New Lawsuit Says - CNS News
On June 26, 2017, the same day that the Supreme Court agreed to take up Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, an attorney asked Phillips to create a cake designed pink on the inside and blue on the outside, which the attorney said was to celebrate a gender transition from male to female.
Phillips declined the request because the custom cake would have expressed messages about sex and gender identity that conflict with his religious beliefs. Less than a month after the Supreme Court ruled for Phillips in his first case, the state surprised him by finding probable cause to believe that Colorado law requires him to create the requested gender-transition cake.
"Even though Jack serves all customers and simply declines to create custom cakes that express messages or celebrate events in violation of his deeply held beliefs, the government is intent on destroying him -- something the Supreme Court has already told it not to do," said ADF Senior Vice President Kristen Waggoner. "Neither Jack nor any other creative professionals should be targeted by the government for living consistently with their religious beliefs." (Read more)

9. 300 priests, 1,000 victims, and only 2 headed to prison - One News Now
Tragic, rampant and sordid accusations of child sexual abuse by parish priests continues to haunt the Catholic Church, and now a grand jury in Pennsylvania has released a 1,600-page report alleging 300 priests in the state abused more than 1,000 children yet avoided justice.
"It's taken civil society - a courageous attorney general - to bring this information forward," Lennon says. "The Church has not done that. They've been keeping secrets and we need to stop the secrecy." Lennon is referring to Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat and former state lawmaker who was elected to that office in 2016.
Speaking to an ABC News affiliate, Shapiro described a "wide-spread, systematic" cover-up of "predator priests" across the state whose abuses were known and documented by Catholic Church officials. Instead of reporting the abuse to authorities, he said, church officials hid the crimes and moved them around the state, which is now a well-known pattern of the ongoing Catholic Church abuse scandal.
The attorney general went on to allege the Catholic leaders were attempting to hide the abusers from their accusers, and from law enforcement authorities, in an attempt to outlast statute of limitation laws. That attempt largely succeeded, he said, because only two of approximately 150 priests still alive have been prosecuted for their crimes. (Read more)

10. Trump's trade war is rattling China's leaders - Business Times
China's leaders have sought to project confidence in the face of President Donald Trump's tariffs and trade threats. But as it becomes clear a protracted trade war with the United States may be unavoidable, there are growing signs of unease inside the Communist political establishment.
In recent days, officials from the Commerce Ministry, the police and other agencies have summoned exporters to ask about plans to lay off workers or shift supply chains to other countries. With stocks slumping and the currency dropping 9 per cent against the dollar since mid-April, censors have been deleting a torrent of criticism online, some of it directed at President Xi Jinping's leadership.
If the trade war escalates - and Mr Trump has shown no sign of backing down - some worry that the public's faith in the economy could be shaken, exposing the nation to much more serious problems than a drop in exports. New economic data on Tuesday showed slower growth in investment and consumer spending, and there are fears that the financial crisis in Turkey could spread.
The Communist Party needs growth to justify its monopoly on power and is obsessed with preventing social instability. At the same time, Mr Xi's strongman grip may be hindering effective policymaking, as officials fail to pass on bad news, defer decisions to him and rigidly carry out his orders, for better or worse. The sky is falling "journalist" protest
As news comes in about the news-writers whining that they are not promoting fake news at the expense of democracy, let us consider an excellent example that clearly demonstrates why these leftist who call themselves journalists are actually biased propagandists. The mainstream media refusal to even consider that Hillary Clinton and the immediate past president were behind the entire genesis of Russians influencing the election by collaborating with Donald Trump is evidence of extreme bias. It's similar to global warming where the news media covering climate change refuses to acknowledge the proof that the very scientists who were advocating the position fudged the data to support their cause.
The entire narrative of the Russian influence on the 2016 presidential election and Trump's alleged collaboration, began with a false dossier on Trump assembled by British spy Christopher Steele, paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign to FBI. This information was used to authorize a warrant from the secret FISA Court for spying on Trump under the direction of the immediate past president. The entirety of these events were part and parcel to the establishment of the Mueller Special Counsel and the ongoing attempt to remove a duly elected President from office since before he took office-a coup attempt.
Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Request of government watchdog Judicial Watch confirm, according to the organization's president, Tom Fitton, "the shady, cash-based relationship the [sic past president's] FBI had with Clinton operative Christopher Steele. The anti-Trump Russia "investigation" had Christopher Steele at its center, and his misconduct was no impediment to using information from his Russia intelligence collaborators to spy on the Trump team. The corruption and abuse is astonishing." These are facts and evidence supporting an entirely different narrative where Clinton, the previous president, his Justice Department, State Department and FBI conspired to attempt to prevent a president from even taking office, and set in motion a massive effort to remove him from office.
Yet the mainstream leftist journalists refuse to even consider these documented facts. Instead, they cry aloud that the President characterizes them as purveyors of fake news and a threat to democracy. While the sky may not be falling in reality, we are witness to an Isaiah 59:13-14 type of moment: "In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter." If the Lord is truth, and these so-called journalists are transgressing against truth, who are they against?

again, we find ourselves in a life-or-death moment of decision concerning the
U.S. Supreme Court and the potential to overturn the 1973 decree of death known
as Roe v. Wade. By Lou Engle and Matt Lockett
We are urging everyone who cares about the future of America to join us in a three-day Esther fast, August 18-20.
n 2004, Bound4LIFE began with the simple prayer, "Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America." It is a powerful prayer that has continued to this day, and we believe that the answers of these two epic cries could now come in the same timeframe-the ending of the scourge of abortion and the beginning of another Great Awakening. To miss either one would be catastrophic for the future of our nation.
Through the years, the story of Esther has been a dominating prophetic theme for our prayer movement, understanding that Roe v. Wade is not unlike Haman's evil edict that threatened the genocide of Esther's people. She rose up "for such a time as this," risking everything to overturn Haman's death decree.
Esther's story is timeless in the sense that we periodically find ourselves in similar moments that demand intensified prayer and fasting for the sake of shifting wicked circumstances. It is our conviction that America is in another Esther moment.
For years we have prayed for the Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court by name, but we have also prayed for the seats they occupy. Their positions represent seats of authority, and we believe God wants to bring about a shift that will uphold righteousness and overturn injustice.

SANHEDRIN INVITES CHRISTIANS TO INAUGURATE UNIVERSAL
ROSH HASHANAH!
Fixing a Broken 2,000-Year-Old Relationship
I will bring them to My sacred mount And let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices Shall be welcome on My mizbayach; For My House shall be called A house of prayer for all peoples. (Isaiah 56:7 The Israel Bible)
A concert held at the base of the Temple Mount in three weeks will inaugurate a "new Biblical holiday:" a universal Rosh Hashanah (New Year) commemorating the creation of the world.
The nascent Sanhedrin and the Mikdash (Temple) Educational Center are hosting the World Creation Concert on September 3, the 23rd of the Hebrew month of Elul. According to Jewish tradition, the world was created on the 25th of Elul. The concert will be held at at the Jerusalem Archaeological Park - Davidson Center and the Hulda gates adjacent to the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem.
"We are not calling on the non-Jews to observe a Jewish holiday," Rabbi Hillel Weiss explained to Breaking Israel News. "We are creating an entirely new and unique holiday that is relevant to everyone on the planet. There are global threats that bind us all together: ecological and political. It is precisely for these situations that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob established a House of Prayer for All Nations in Jerusalem."
"This concert is a way to bring all of the nations together to praise God," Rabbi Weiss said. "This is an event organized by Orthodox Jews but it does not 'belong' to any one religion. We are acting in our prophesied role as a Kingdom of Priests, serving the nations in order to enable them to serve Hashem."
The organizers of the concert sent out invitations to representatives of every country around the world and several have responded, saying they will attend. In addition to specific nations, the Sanhedrin appointed Pastor David Decker, a self-professed "passionate Evangelical Christian who is a lover of Zion," to act as the ambassador to the Christian world.
Decker has accepted the commission with enthusiasm though he acknowledges it will not be easy given the difficult history between Judaism and Christianity.
"This concert is an opportunity for Christianity to take a step beyond all that and take a step closer towards fixing what has been broken for 2,000 years," Decker told Breaking Israel News. "Anyone who believes the prophecies has to acknowledge that Israel is back in the land and it isn't so they can build high tech companies. God called the House of Israel back to the land to build his House of Glory. Our job as Christians is to help them in this holy mission. Part of this may be to wake the Jews up who aren't yet aware."
"The Sanhedrin is inviting us as Christians and all the nations to do that. This is a direct blow to the New Age and Mother Earth movements which are paganism. This is all about the Bible and the God of the Bible."
"The Christians are supposed to be the support group for the people god chose to bring his Holy Word into the world. If Christianity were, God forbid, to disappear from the earth, the Jews would still have to do what they were assigned to do according to God's covenant. If, God forbid, the Jewish people were to disappear from the earth, Christianity would be lost. This is why we, as Christians, need to discuss this among ourselves and also with the Jews. There are many Christians who don't even love Israel. How can this be?"
Decker described the concert as a "new Biblical holiday." He explained that despite not being explicitly mentioned in the Bible, the concert would hopefully become an annual event in which the Christians and the other nations could actualize their prophetic roles.
"The Sanhedrin knows that Christians have an important role to play in fulfilling Biblical prophecies," Decker said. "To do that we need to understand our older brothers, the Jews, and to respect them. We need to learn how to work with the Jews the way we were supposed to 2,000 years ago. We will always disagree about some things but certainly there is enough common spiritual ground in our shared Bible."
Decker believes that the concept is especially relevant to Christians and they should therefore be the first to step forward.
"When our Christian rabbi, Yehoshua, prayed, he wasn't praying to himself," Decker said. "He was praying to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Christians and Jews certainly can agree on praying to this God."
"This is not an attempt to water down the Christian faith or change it in any way. Our Lord and Savior was an Orthodox Jewish rabbi. He was circumcised eight days after he was born and his parents brought a sacrifice of doves to the Jewish Temple to redeem him as the first born. We may not agree on many things about the Messiah, but when he does come, he will be heading for the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and not for the First Baptist Church of Texas."
To facilitate the universal aspect of the concert, the organizers have arranged several different manners for people to participate. A limited number of tickets are available to attend in person. Several television stations around the world will broadcast the event live. If this is unavailable, people can obtain a link to the live broadcast for a small fee on the concert's website.
But the most interesting option is available free of charge. People can sign up to be what the organizers refer to as "Points of Praise." Individuals and organizations can sign up as representatives of a local group of like-minded friends and families who will gather and watch the live broadcast together online. Their goal is simply to have God be praised by all nations around the world. (Read more)

Election Issues: Week ONE
RACISM
During this past week, two headlines began to surface in the news, both pointing to the ongoing issue of the bitter root of racism that still pervades our land.
These were: (1) the planned demonstrations (in Washington. D.C. and in Charlottesville) on the anniversary of the violence caused by the Antifa demonstration there last year; and (2) the accusations made against President Trump by his former staffer, Omarosa Manigault-Newman.
Regarding the first "flashpoint" (the riots) . . . in the end, the "riots" this year were much more subdued and under control in both cities. No one was killed or even injured, and although the media made this seem like a "big deal," in fact, only about 30 people showed up in D.C. and not many more in Charlottesville. Praise God! We believe that these subdued responses were due to the prayers of God's saints, who "got ahead of the curve" in intercession, thereby defusing the enemy's timebomb . . .
However and perhaps coincidentally . . . on the SAME DAY that the riots were to take place, Omarosa appeared "out of nowhere," took over the talk shows, and introduced her new book, "Unhinged." The public was shocked, as we learned that she had actually sneaked a recorder inside the White House Situation Room to record her last conversation with General Kelly who was, at that time, dismissing her from her position in the West Wing. She then filled her book with hundreds of allegations against President Trump . . . most of which have now been proven to have been fabricated.
So, back to Issue #1 this week: RACISM. Did the President's enemies actually coordinate last weekend's attacks, so as to stir up hatred against him and falsely call him a racist, on two fronts, or was this merely a coincidence?
Only our God knows the truth of this scheme, but praise be to Him, we do know the real TRUTH: President Trump is a great friend of Black Americans!
To support this TRUTH, we turn to our dear friend, Dr. Alveda King, who was recently quoted in this article, also cited in a report by Intercessors for America. (Go here)
And regarding Ms. Omarosa's story, we turn to Maureen Bravo and Pastor Ioan Peia of the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Network, who have graciously released these notes, transcribed during a recent conference call, and which examines her character in light of Scripture; and her actions that, without prayerful intervention, will serve to stir up racial hatred -- and the racial divide -- in our land.
As we close our prayerful consideration of this volatile issue in America, RACISM, let us first examine our own hearts in this area, to be sure we are in right standing with our God, who died to save us all: every tongue, every people, every nation, amen.

Mystery Russian satellite's behaviour raises alarm in US
A mysterious Russian satellite displaying "very abnormal behaviour" has raised alarm in the US, according to a State Department official.
"We don't know for certain what it is and there is no way to verify it," said assistant secretary Yleem Poblete at a conference in Switzerland on 14 August.
She voiced fears that it was impossible to say if the object may be a weapon.
Russia has dismissed the comments as "unfounded, slanderous accusations based on suspicions".
The satellite in question was launched in October last year.
"[The satellite's] behaviour on-orbit was inconsistent with anything seen before from on-orbit inspection or space situational awareness capabilities, including other Russian inspection satellite activities," Ms Poblete told the conference on disarmament in Switzerland.

Nearly 2,000 Come to Jesus in Missouri

A US Army Chaplain says a revival is taking place on the base of Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Since March nearly 2,000 troops have reportedly come to the Lord.
Chaplain (Capt.) Jose Rondon ministers at the base each week and has been posting testimonies and baptisms of new converts on his Facebook page.
"Today, 380 soldiers came to salvation in Christ once and for all," Rondon says in one post. "Thanks CH Tony Cech for the excellent, clear, and powerful messages during the 3 services. Since March 11, 2018, we have seen 1,839 soldiers coming to Christ. God's doing an unbelievable work through our military at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. May God bring the same powerful conviction of sin and love for Him that we are experiencing at Main Post Chapel all throughout our Nation and His world."
In an interview with The Baptist Press, Rondon said that being intentional in sharing the Gospel has been key to the conversions. "To be intentional is to be faithful to Christ and obedient to His Great Commission," Rondon said. "But we will not succeed in making disciples until the lost make the first step to follow Christ as their Savior. To be intentional not only means to preach Christ's Word in the chapel, but to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit to share His message of reconciliation if, and when, the time fits."
