About Judge Kavanaugh: A Message from Two National Ministries

ESTHER'S MOMENT CONTINUES
By Lou Engle and Matt Lockett

Once again, we find ourselves in a life-or-death moment of decision concerning the U.S. Supreme Court and the potential to overturn the 1973 decree of death known as Roe v. Wade.

We are urging everyone who cares about the future of America to join us in a three-day Esther fast, August 18-21.
In 2004, Bound4LIFE began with the simple prayer, "Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America." It is a powerful prayer that has continued to this day, and we believe that the answers of these two epic cries could now come in the same timeframe-the ending of the scourge of abortion and the beginning of another Great Awakening. To miss either one would be catastrophic for the future of our nation.
Through the years, the story of Esther has been a dominating prophetic theme for our prayer movement, understanding that Roe v. Wade is not unlike Haman's evil edict that threatened the genocide of Esther's people. She rose up "for such a time as this," risking everything to overturn Haman's death decree. Esther's story is timeless in the sense that we periodically find ourselves in similar moments that demand intensified prayer and fasting for the sake of shifting wicked circumstances. It is our conviction that America is in another Esther moment.

In 1857, the U.S. Supreme Court delivered a tragic decision in the Dred Scott v. Sanford case that seemingly sealed the fate of slaves in America. In spite of powerful spiritual awakenings, we failed to end the bloodshed of slavery. Catastrophe followed, and new estimates show 750,000 lives were lost on the battlefields of the Civil War. We believe the same implications of God's justice still stand today. In essence, He is saying, "If you don't deal with it in your courts, I'll deal with it in Mine."

WILL THE SUPREME COURT NOW SHIFT?
With the current vacancy on the Supreme Court now in focus, we are calling the body of Christ to understand the full weight of the situation we are facing. We cannot afford to have a new Justice seated on the court who would ultimately rule to uphold Roe v. Wade. Proverbs 14:12 teaches, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death." So much is at stake. We must rely on clarity from heaven rather than simply do what we think is right.
When Justice Kennedy announced his retirement from the court on June 27, we remembered how often we had prayed throughout the years for his reformation or resignation, in spite of the fact that a pro-life President appointed him. This is because, in 1992, he infamously switched his vote at the last minute and decided to uphold abortion in the pivotal case Planned Parenthood v. Casey. That decision strengthened Roe v. Wade and allowed the abortion total to now soar to more than 60 million lives lost.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh has now been nominated to replace Justice Kennedy. Many are rejoicing that President Trump has chosen Kavanaugh, however we-along with many concerned intercessors-do not yet sense a resounding "YES" over this choice. He may very well be the man for the job, but then he may not be the right one. We believe the body of Christ must leave nothing to chance in a moment like this.
. . .
AN ESTHER MOVEMENT WILL RISE UP

In March 2017, Lou Engle dreamed of a movement in which women gathered from all around to hear a woman teach the book of Esther. In the dream, she pointed to the text and said, "These two words mean Nazgul." You may recall from the movie series The Lord of the Rings, the Nazgul witch king was destroying the armies of men, and he boasted, "No man can kill me!" It was the maiden of Rohan who confronted the Nazgul on the battlefield. She pulled off her helmet and declared, "I am no man," as she pierced him through with her sword.

Waking from that dream, Lou understood there are certain spirits of witchcraft and death that can only be broken by women, and he knew that "Esthers" must arise to challenge legalized bloodshed that fuels witchcraft over the whole nation.

Around that time, witches worldwide rose up to curse the President of the United States. In response, we called a three-day Esther fast, which quickly spread around the world. We believe that fast strategically broke something in the spiritual realm that was necessary at that time. Later in the year, women were called to the Rise Up gathering in Washington, DC, and more than 30,000 women rallied on the National Mall to represent a corporate Esther. They made their appeal to the High Court of Heaven to overrule the Supreme Court of earth. That challenge continues today as we enter into a new season of seeing the U.S. Supreme Court shift.
A CALL TO FAST LIKE ESTHER AND MORDECAI

Immediately following Justice Kennedy's retirement announcement, something quite revealing began to take place-something you won't hear about in the news. Sources revealed that witches began making phone calls to Senators' offices to curse them with brazen witchcraft in an effort to exert a demonic influence over the process. Make no mistake-this is a spiritual battle of the highest order.

Therefore, we are calling ALL BELIEVERS-mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters-to fast like Esther, Mordecai, and their people did in the time of crisis. While we do not yet have clarity of revelation concerning the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh, the scriptures charge us to bind (or disallow) and loose (allow) on earth in cooperation with heaven (Matthew 16:18-19; 18:18). We are calling a three-day Esther fast to stand in the gap on behalf of the nation and disallow anyone from being confirmed to the Supreme Court who will not ultimately reverse Roe v. Wade. We declare, "LIFE," over this empty seat and reserve it for God's choice.

We have seen nominees rise and fall as well as seen multiple vacancies open up at the same time. We believe God's purposes are now pressing in to bring about a prophesied shift on the court. Would you stand with us now to look beyond the current vacancy and believe for yet another Justice to retire or be removed? We urge you to join us-along with thousands of believers-beginning the evening of August 18 for a three-day Esther fast of no food and no water. We believe the seriousness of the situation is that desperate. Please be careful and wise! If you are not able to do a total fast, then consider doing a partial fast or liquid fast.

A unified cry will shake the heavens! Together we will possess this seat for God's choice, for someone who will uphold the Constitution, and for the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

ESTHER FAST, AUGUST 18-21
If you read this and your heart burns to see breakthrough, then help us mobilize the fast far and wide. It's time to rise up again!

For Life,

Lou Engle and Matt Lockett

> > > Special footnote from CHPP:

We have not been in touch directly with either Matt Lockett or with Lou Engle, but we AGREE with this call to fast on the dates given.

We further note that our Lord has already called us to launch the NIGHTWATCH for 21 days this month, beginning on Sunday morning, all through the night -- the time when witchcraft is most active.

WE NOW PLEDGE TO COMMIT THIS NIGHTWATCH TO THE "CALL TO ARMS" GIVEN ABOVE, CRYING OUT THROUGH THE NIGHT FOR GOD'S CHOSEN VESSEL -- AND ONLY GOD'S CHOSEN VESSEL -- TO OCCUPY THAT VACANT SEAT ON THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
And we note, too, that after Daniel fasted for 21 DAYS, the Archangel Gabriel BROKE THROUGH . . . and the answer came.

Let it be now, Lord . . . let it be now.

"Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom." (Daniel 7:22)

1. Iran gearing up for major drill threatening to shut Strait of Hormuz - YNET News

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard forces are gearing up to stage a major exercise in the Persian Gulf, perhaps within the next 48 hours that could be aimed at demonstrating their ability to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, according to a CNN report citing two US officials "directly familiar with the latest US assessment of IRGC troop movements."

"We are aware of the increase in Iranian naval operations within the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman. We are monitoring it closely, and will continue to work with our partners to ensure freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce in international waterways," Captain William Urban, chief spokesman for US Central Command, told CNN.

In March, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani appeared to threaten to disrupt oil shipments from neighbouring countries if Washington presses ahead with its goal of forcing all countries to stop buying Iranian oil.

2. Netanyahu warns that Israel will stop any Iranian attempt to close Red Sea - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran on Wednesday that Israel, together with an "international coalition," would not allow the Islamic Republic to close a key regional waterway.

Speaking to graduates of the Israel Navy's elite captains' course at its naval training base in Haifa, Netanyahu said, "At the beginning of the week we witnessed a serious clash with Iran's proxies who tried to obstruct international movement in the straits at the entrance to the Red Sea."

He added: "If Iran tries to block the Bab Al-Mandab Straits, I'm convinced that it will find itself facing a determined international coalition to prevent this.

3. 'The Israeli people are tough and determined' - Israel National News

Arutz Sheva spoke to Aston Bright, a firefighter from Plantation, Florida, who volunteers in Israel.

"I came to Israel as part of the Emergency Volunteers Project in order to help fight the fires that have been caused by Hamas sending kites and balloons and starting arson fires throughout southern Israel," said Bright.

The EVP, he explained, is an organization that sends health care professionals, community volunteers and firefighters from the United States to Israel in time of crisis.

"I think it is insane when people target and attack civilians, and the Israeli people are very tough and determined. We're here to help augment the response to those fires by coming in and dealing with them," said Bright.

4. Hezbollah likely to replace ISIS on Israel's northern border, IDF says - Israel Hayom

The Syrian army is expected to complete its takeover of the country's southwest, near the border with Israel, in the next day or two. This will allegedly restore a familiar situation, in which Syria's regime is once again stable, even if under the auspices of Russia.

This would seem to be an ideal situation, especially if reality on the ground reverts to the one that existed before the civil war began in 2011, when Syria and Israel both adhered to the 1974 cease-fire agreement in full. This would restore peace and quiet to the Golan Heights, which could once again become Israel's most tranquil frontier.

he key word here is "if." Unfortunately, the chances of this becoming reality are slim. The Syrian army may regain control on the ground, but it will not be the only armed presence near the border. Russia will be there too, and its presence is both a blessing and a curse.

The Russian presence, ostensibly meant to inspire restraint on all sides, will only be effective if Russia agrees to act on Israeli intelligence and thwart anti-Israeli incidents. But if the Russians prove to be a modern version of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, which sees no evil, hears no evil and speaks no evil, Israel will find itself in a predicament, as Russia's presence will make it difficult for Israel to act independently.

Russia, however, is the easy part. The bigger problems are Iran and its proxy, Hezbollah.

5. Supreme Court: Netanyahu-Mozes Transcripts Will Not Be Made Public - Jerusalem Post

Three Supreme Court judges have denied an appeal filed by lawyers Yuval Yoaz and Shachar Ben Meir requesting that Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit publish the transcripts of conversations between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yediot Aharonot publisher Arnon Mozes in Case 2000.

Yoaz and Ben Meir claimed that Mandelblit's decision to prevent the publication of the transcripts, which are part of the investigation material in Case 2000, is unreasonable due to the fact that the police investigation ended in February 2018. The petitioners also claimed that it is in the public interest to publish the transcripts, in light of the serious suspicions of infringement of freedom of speech and freedom of the press in the case.

Mandelblit responded that, while it is true that the police investigation was completed six months ago, in light of the state's witness agreement with Nir Hefetz, Case 2000 was remanded to the police for further investigation.

Mandelblit claimed that the suspects in the affair have seen the transcripts, but making them public could be harmful to the law enforcement, without giving further details. Mandelblit stated that the appeal should be rejected, seeing as the prosecutors have no right to intervene in the authorities' decisions by attempting to publish material from the ongoing investigation.

1. Trump to Sessions: Stop the Mueller investigation 'right now' - Washington Times

President Trump on Wednesday directly called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to end special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling into the 2016 election. Mr. Trump demanded Mr. Sessions stop the investigation "before it continues to stain our country any further," calling the probe a "disgrace." The president's comments came after he quoted Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz, who suggested that Mr. Mueller is trying to protect his team at the expense of the investigation.

Mr. Mueller is reportedly considering Mr. Trump's tweets about former FBI Director James B. Comey and Mr. Sessions to see if they were an attempt to pressure witnesses and officials involved in the Russia investigation. The conservative group Americans for Limited Government echoed Mr. Trump's call for an end to the special counsel's probe, calling Mr. Mueller's team "a hit squad."

"It becomes clear this is a politically motivated hit job when you look at the prosecution of Paul Manafort which has nothing to do with Russia hacking, collusion or even the 2016 election," said ALG President Rick Manning. "Tony Podesta, brother of former Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, and Paul Manafort worked together on the same issues in Ukraine. Both are accused of potentially failing to register as foreign lobbyist crimes, but only one of them is being prosecuted by Mueller's team, while the other, rightfully so, has been handed off to the U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan. Why? Because Paul Manafort worked for Donald Trump."

2. Trump uses Florida speech to promote the need for voter ID - One News Now

President Donald Trump has used a political rally in Florida to promote the need of voter ID and accused Democrats of obstructing his agenda and his Supreme Court nominee. Trump, addressing thousands of supporters Tuesday night in one of the nation's top electoral battlegrounds, also mounted a rigorous defense of his trade agenda, accusing China and others of having "targeted our farmers."

"Not good, not nice," he told the crowd as tensions with China continue to escalate, adding: "You know what our farmers are saying?'It's OK, we can take it." The Trump administration last week announced plans for $12 billion in temporary aid to help farmers deal with retaliatory tariffs from U.S. trading partners in response to Trump's policies.

The freewheeling rally lasted more than an hour and included numerous attacks on the media, as well as attacking the idea of noncitizens voting and advocating stricter voting laws. He mentioned that IDs are required for everything else, including shopping. He embraced U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis in a competitive primary for governor and backed the Senate campaign of his longtime ally, Gov. Rick Scott. Trump, in railing against the idea of allowing noncitizens to vote in some elections, said at the rally, "Only American citizens should vote in American elections."

3. Noncitizens across U.S. find it easy to register to vote, cast ballots - Washington Times

Noncitizens are signing up to vote in states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia, according to research by the Public Interest Legal Foundation, a nonprofit law firm that advocates for election integrity. The foundation found that a large percentage of those noncitizens managed to cast ballots, too.

A Russian national or any other noncitizen can easily influence a U.S. election by simply registering to vote in California - just ask Elizaveta Shuvalova. Ms. Shuvalova said she didn't even know her name was added to the San Francisco voter rolls in 2012, when she was a 21-year-old Russian citizen living legally in the U.S. but ineligible to vote. More of a shocker is how easily Ms. Shuvalova was registered to vote in California without a citizenship check. Conservative watchdogs say the problem is surprisingly common across the country.

Logan Churchwell, communications and research director for the foundation, said Ms. Shuvalova's file was one of more than two dozen records gleaned from San Francisco, based on a request for other self-reported noncitizens. In six of those cases, the noncitizen also had a voting history. "Our voter registration system masks noncitizens and allows the opportunity to vote until they decide to self-report at their own peril. All of this could have been prevented if states actually verified citizen eligibility upfront," Mr. Churchwell said.

4. Congress sends $717 billion defense policy bill to Trump's desk - Washington Examiner

The Senate voted 87-10 Wednesday to pass Congress' annual defense policy bill, sending it to President Trump to be signed into law. The $717 billion National Defense Authorization Act is the second installment of a two-year budget deal aimed at rebuilding the military. It also includes provisions suspending sales of F-35 joint strike fighters to Turkey and countering Russian influence.

The bill suspends sales of the Lockheed Martin jets to Ankara until the Pentagon delivers a report on bilateral military relations and Turkey's potential purchase of the S-400 air and missile defense system from Russia, which has also raised deep concerns in Washington. The report is due within 90 days of the NDAA being signed into law.

A raft of Russia measures in the NDAA clears the way for the military to pursue a new low-yield nuclear warhead, hikes authorized funding for the U.S. military presence in eastern Europe, and provides new waivers the Pentagon says could wean allies from dependence on Moscow. The NDAA also prohibits the government and any contractors from doing business with Chinese telecom ZTE or Huawei Technologies, which many lawmakers see as a national security threat.

5. U.S. Incomes and Spending Rise Together, Savings Rate Holds Steady, Inflation Eases - Breitbart

American households' income and spending rose at a robust pace in June, indicating that consumers have the capacity to push the recent acceleration of the economy forward into the second half of the year. Personal income rose 0.4 percent from May to June, the Commerce Department said Tuesday. The wages and salaries component of income, which excludes income from investments and self-employment, rose 0.4 percent. Personal-consumption expenditures increase at the same pace.

The matching pace of income and consumption gains indicates that consumers did not dip into savings to keep up the expansion of spending, meaning the expansion is not being built on a deterioration of household financial security. The saving rate in June was unchanged from May at 6.8%.

The May consumption spending figure was revised up sharply, from 0.2 percent to 0.5 percent. April was revised up to 0.6 percent from an initial o.5 percent. This may mean that the already strong second quarter gross domestic product rate will be revised upward from the initial reading of 4.1 percent. There's some indication that much of the growth of spending is going into Americans having fun. Spending on goods was flat, while spending on restaurants and hotels rose sharply.

6. Withholding Funding To Sanctuary Cities Ruled Unconstitutional - Daily Caller

A United States federal court ruled Wednesday that President Donald Trump's executive order threatening to withhold funding to sanctuary cities is unconstitutional. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the U.S. district court's decision by a split of 2-to-1 with the dissenting judge asserting the case is not ripe for review.

The decision comes after two counties, San Francisco and Santa Clara, filed lawsuits against the Trump administration after the White House threatened to deny federal funds to jurisdictions refusing to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The summary of the opinion reads that "the panel held that, under the principle of Separation of Powers and in consideration of the Spending Clause, which vests exclusive power to Congress to impose conditions on federal grants, the Executive Branch may not refuse to disperse the federal grants in question without congressional authorization." There was also not enough evidence backing a nationwide injunction and it was "remanded for reconsideration and further findings."

7. Facebook Says It Has Identified A Political Influence Campaign Aimed At Creating Left-Wing 'Resistance' - Daily Caller

Facebook announced Tuesday that it has removed 32 inauthentic Instagram and Facebook profiles and pages because the company believes they were part of a coordinated disinformation campaign. Many of the named pages and accounts seem to espouse progressive or left-wing political messages. One page, "Resisters," went as far as creating an event scheduled between August 10 and 12 called "No Unite the Right 2 - DC." About 2,600 Facebook users expressed interest in the event and more than 600 said they were attending, according to the company.

"Inauthentic admins of the 'Resisters' Page connected with admins from five legitimate Pages to co-host the event. These legitimate Pages unwittingly helped build interest in 'No Unite Right 2 - DC' and posted information about transportation, materials, and locations so people could get to the protests," Facebook said. The page linking to information to the event has been taken down and Facebook said it would continue sharing information with law enforcement and Congress. Unlike previous incidents, Facebook did not seem confident it would be able to identify who was behind the campaign.

Over 290,000 accounts followed "at least one of these" fake pages, which had names like "Aztlan Warriors," a pro-Latin American page, "Black Elevation," a Black pride page and "Mindful Being." The left-leaning nature of this new round of fraudulent accounts throws a curveball into the narrative that outside governments or groups favor one political party over the others.

- Father, we pray these efforts to remove fraudulent accounts will not be expanded to remove actual people who are only exercising their free speech rights. Help us identify and stop censorship of political views.

8. Donald Trump Surprises Rush Limbaugh to Congratulate Him for 30th Anniversary - Breitbart

President Donald Trump surprised talk radio host Rush Limbaugh by calling him on the air to congratulate him on the 30th anniversary of his show. "You're a very special man, Rush, and you have people that love you. I'm one of them," Trump said. "What you do for this country, people have no idea how important your voice is." Limbaugh thanked Trump for the courtesy, noting that the president meant a great deal to his listeners.

Trump said his supporters were frustrated with establishment politicians who repeatedly let them down. "They've really been mistreated for so many years by the politicians," he said. "The country's been mistreated. The trade deals were so bad. The taxes were so high."

He reminded Limbaugh that he had only been to Washington, DC for a handful of occasions before he was elected president. "I had no idea how evil some of them are, but you have a lot of great people too," he said. "And outside of Washington you have the greatest people in the world."

9. Wildfire Ravages California; Bethel Church, Victims Say 'God's Got Us' - Christian Post

The Carr fire, which began in Shasta county near Redding last week, has consumed more than 103,000 acres of land and has continued to grow as the land is tinderbox dry. Reports indicate that residents have never seen anything like this and are describing the scene as "apocalyptic." At least 723 homes have been destroyed, six people have reportedly died and others remain missing.

The home of Redding residents Judah and Krystal Gowan was completely burned to the ground, and they were caught off guard by the fire's rapid movement. "I was petrified," Krystal Gowan said in a Monday interview with The Christian Post. "I have two toddlers, my parents live with me, plus cats and dogs. Within the span of five minutes we grabbed exactly that list, shoved everyone in the car, and we ran. As we drove out of our gated community the fire trucks were entering and using loudspeakers for us to exit."

As they left, they saw several homes on fire and the blaze was surrounding the whole community. Gowan heard later that others were taken out of the neighborhood via helicopter. She told CP she took her first shower last night and expected the ash she felt she was covered in to pour into the drain, but noted the water was remarkably clear. "And I thought, 'this is God saying He's got us, He's already taken care of this,'" Gowan recounted.

10. Trump administration sanctions Turkish officials over detained American pastor - FoxNews

The Trump administration on Wednesday sanctioned top Turkish officials over the country's detention of American pastor Andrew Craig Brunson. The Treasury Department sanctions, first announced by the White House, target Turkey's minister of justice and minister of interior over the holding of the 50-year-old pastor.

The administration said the two sanctioned officials -- Turkey's Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gul and Minister of Interior Suleyman Soylu -- both played leading roles in the organizations responsible for Brunson's arrest and detention. The sanctions effectively block any property or interest in property controlled by them in the U.S., and bar Americans from engaging in transactions with them.

Vice President Mike Pence told Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures" that Brunson's release to house arrest "is just not good enough. Pastor Andrew Brunson is an innocent man. He's a man of profound Christian faith, who has ministered in Turkey for more than 20 years ... There's no credible evidence of any wrongdoing against him," Pence said.

NY Times Publisher "warns" Trump

Wednesday, August 1, 2018

New York Times Publisher A.G. Sulzberger had a meeting with President Donald Trump on Sunday, July 29. The reports at first were cordial, but soon turned nasty in the public domain over social media. Trump tweeted that they talked about the "vast amounts of fake news being put out by the media and how that fake news has morphed into phrase, "Enemy of the People." Sad." Sulzberger took exception and released a statement decrying how Trump's language was "not just divisive, but increasingly dangerous." That's the new news media narrative-that Trump is a Nazi because he keeps beating up the news media for their biased reporting. They say they fear his banter will lead to violence against journalists.

Sulzberger said, "My main purpose for accepting the meeting was to raise concerns about the president's deeply troubling anti-press rhetoric.I told the president directly that I thought that his language was not just divisive but increasingly dangerous.I told him that although the phrase "fake news" is untrue and harmful, I am far more concerned about his labeling journalists "the enemy of the people." I warned that this inflammatory language is contributing to a rise in threats against journalists and will lead to violence...I warned that it was putting lives at risk, that it was undermining the democratic ideals of our nation, and that it was eroding one of our country's greatest exports: a commitment to free speech and a free press."

Some points here to consider: Sulzberger emphatically believes that the phrase "fake news" is untrue and harmful. Notwithstanding, it is documented that his newspaper and several other media outlets have repeatedly reported falsely to the American people. Sulzberger says that Trump's characterization of the mainstream media as "the enemy of the people" has caused threats and [implied deaths] against journalists, especially overseas. Blaming Trump for dictators cracking down on journalists (which they routinely have done long before Trump) is a long reach and shows the delusional thinking of Sulzberger and the media. Sulzberger concluded by saying, "I implored him to reconsider his broader attacks on journalism, which I believe are dangerous and harmful to our country."

These so-called "journalists" can gin up hatred and violence by their false reporting, but when they are called out, they say it's dangerous and harmful to our country. Let us recall how in June 2017 the combined visceral of the Democratic Party, Hollywood, and the news media resulted in an assassination attempt of conservative members of Congress at a baseball field. The news media's politically-motivated, untrue, and malicious attacks on those who disagree with their leftist agenda are actually dangerous and harmful to our country. But these so-called journalists refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Proverbs 12:22 says, "Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight." Maybe the fear of the Lord, rather than Trump's words, is where these journalists need to start.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
