News from the NIGHTWATCH:

Daily Reports from Facilitators and Friends of What Our Lord Has Been Speaking in the Night!

Dear Prayer Partners,

Every morning when I awaken, I find delightful reports in my Inbox of what the Holy Spirit has been doing in the night during our NIGHTWATCH. For example, today I want to share a letter we have received from a sister named Judy, who lives in Pennsylvania. She has given me permission to share her thoughts with you:

Hello Sara.

My name is Judy . . .

Through another ministry's newsletter, I learned of the 21 Nights of Prayer.

I had been asking the Lord for weeks to give me a burden for intercession, to teach me how to pray, deepen my walk with Him. I was claiming this Scripture:

"The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant." (Psalm 25:15)

It is an honor and delight to be a part of this.

I am learning so much by listening to the strategic heart cry prayers of those on the line. I still have much to learn, but I am confident that the Holy Spirit will instruct me.

Many times I am on the line when Delores is facilitating.

Can you please let her know what a blessing she is to me? May God get the glory in her life.

I am learning and learning!

Praying that all intercessors are shielded by the Lord every moment.

May all of us be so close to Jesus' heart that we are invisible to the enemy.

"But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill."(Psalm 3:3,4)

May our Lord indeed be glorified in all we say and do, amen!

4. PA again vows to continue paying prisoners, families of 'martyrs'- The Jerusalem Post

The Palestinian Authority vowed again on Monday to continue payments to Palestinian security prisoners and the families of Palestinians killed in terror attacks on Israel.

The latest pledge was made by PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, during a meeting in his office in Ramallah with a delegation from the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees.

Headed by Kadri Abu al-Rub, the commission's task is to provide various forms of aid to Palestinian security prisoners and their families.

During the meeting, Hamdallah renewed the PA leadership's commitment to continue payments to the prisoners and families of Palestinian "martyrs," said a statement published by the PA prime minister's office.

Hamdallah, the statement said, also affirmed the PA leadership's firm position regarding the payments, "despite Israel's decision to deduct the funds paid to the prisoners and the families of the martyrs from tax revenues collected by the Israeli government on behalf of the PA."

5. Netanyahu: Our Demand Is an Absolute Ceasefire in Gaza - Jerusalem Online.com

sraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Sunday that Israel will continue to operate against terrorism from the Gaza Strip after another tense week that brought back the rumors of a new large-scale war.

"We are in the middle of a campaign against terrorism in Gaza. It involves an exchange of attacks; It will not end in a single blow. Our demand is clear: an absolute ceasefire. We will not be satisfied with anything less than that, "Netanyahu said during his cabinet's weekly meeting.

Netanyahu added that Israel will not rest until security is restored in its entirety for residents of southern Israel.

"From now on, we have destroyed hundreds of Hamas military targets, and in each round, the IDF charges an additional price. I will not disclose our operational plans here; they are ready, "Netanyahu said. "Our goal is to restore silence to the residents of the south and the area adjacent to the Gaza Strip. This objective will be achieved in its entirety. "

1. New Mexico Jihadis Can Leave Jail Until Child Abuse Trial, Judge Rules - Daily Caller

A New Mexico state judge ruled Monday that five alleged Muslim extremists accused of training children to conduct school shootings do not have to remain in jail while they await trial for child abuse. Judge Sarah Backus released the five defendants, Siraj Wahhaj, Hujrah Wahhaj, Subhannah Wahhaj, Jany Leveille, and Lucas Morten, on a $20,000 "signature bond," according to the Albuquerque Journal. That means that the defendants will not have to pay money unless they violate the conditions of their release.

Backus said that New Mexico state prosecutors were unable to show that the five defendants should have their bail denied because they posed a threat to the community. Backus said that the defendants will be required to wear GPS tracking devices through the duration of their court case. All five have been charged with 11 counts of child abuse after 11 malnourished children were found at the group's compound during an Aug. 3 raid.

Wahhaj's father is a Brooklyn-based imam of the same name. The elder Wahhaj was an un-indicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing case. The four-year-old son of the younger Siraj Wahhaj was found buried near the compound. Prosecutors say that the boy, Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, died during an exorcism ritual conducted by his father. Wahhaj has not been charged in his son's death. (Read more)

- Father, we plead with You for judges who will uphold the law and exhibit common sense. Rid us of those who pervert justice, condemning the innocent and allowing the guilty to go free.

- Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent- the Lord detests them both. (Proverbs 17:15)

2. Taliban blindside U.S. forces with surprise Afghan offensive - Washington Examiner

The Taliban are on the verge of dramatically expanding their control over southern and eastern Afghanistan in a surprise offensive that has caught Afghan and U.S. forces off guard and thrown a vexing new wrench into the Trump administration's strategy for ending the nearly 17-year-old war there. The Afghan Defense Ministry said Monday a Taliban assault on the city of Ghanzi - a key provincial capital linking other areas under the Islamic militant group's control just 75 miles southeast of Kabul - has killed roughly 100 Afghan security forces and some 20 civilians over the past three days.

While the Afghan forces, backed by U.S. and NATO advisers, claimed Monday night to have retained control of central Ghanzi, local reports indicated Taliban fighters still held pockets of the city and had simultaneously swept in and taken over most of the surrounding province's rural areas. Analysts said the development has underscored the Taliban's capability for a resurgence in Afghanistan and will likely increase the group's political leverage over peace talks with U.S. officials that the Trump administration has quietly been trying to get off the ground.

David Sedney, who has worked on Afghan issues as a civilian, including multiple years in Kabul and at the Pentagon, since the war began in October 2001, said he believes the chances for peace are the best they've been. "That doesn't mean they're great," Mr. Sedney told The Associated Press. "On the other hand, the current U.S. push to draw Taliban leaders into peace negotiations with Kabul must succeed soon, he added, or risk following the failed path of previous efforts. (Read more)

- Father, we pray You will give President Trump and our military leaders an effective strategy for Afghanistan and bring our troops home. Help them know if there is a way to stabilize the country or if it is folly to keep trying.

- "He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone's hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers." (Genesis 16:12)

3. Defense rests in Paul Manafort case - Washington Examiner

Defense lawyers for Paul Manafort rested in the federal case against the former Trump campaign chairman late Tuesday morning. Lawyer Kevin Downing said in federal court that the defense would not present a case nor call any witnesses in the defense of Manafort in what is the 11th day of Manafort's trial for bank and tax fraud in Alexandria, Va. Manafort indicated to the court he had discussed the decision not to take the stand with his attorneys. Closing arguments are set to begin Wednesday morning.

Special counsel Robert Mueller's team rested their case against Manafort on Monday, capping 10 days of evidence and testimony as they worked to convince a jury that Manafort concealed millions of dollars in offshore bank accounts and misled banks to secure loans.

The government has presented evidence to the jury showing Manafort, with the help of his former business associate Rick Gates, fudged financial statements for his firm, Davis Manafort Partners International, to inflate its income. Manafort is slated to face a second trial in Washington in September on separate charges of money laundering and failure to register as a foreign agent. He has pled not guilty to all of the charges. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the jurors will see through this malicious prosecution and acquit Mr. Manafort of all charges.

- The Lord has disciplined me severely, but He has not given me over to death.
(Psalm 118:18)

4. Trump Official Lynne Patton Responds to Omarosa's New Abridged Tape - Independent Sentinel

CBS News White House Correspondent Abby D. Phillips received another tape from Omarosa Manigault Newman of a conference call with Katrina Pierson and Lynne Patton, two black Trump aides, and campaign communications director Jason Miller. They are heard allegedly discussing the 'n' word incident. Omarosa was interviewed on CBS This Morning Tuesday about the latest tape. She said she has been taping right through the campaign to the day the President called her after she was fired.

Lynne Patton is the first to respond to this latest tape. She said, "nice try" Obamarosa. "We never disputed we had multiple conversations about the alleged "Apprentice" tape b/c you were obsessed with it. On December 12, 2017, at approximately 11:30PM (EST) - a date I now know to be the evening Omarosa was relieved of her official duties by General Kelly - I received a telephone call from her informing me that she had personally heard a second-hand recording of President Trump using the "N-word" in a derogatory fashion.

Today, the individual who Omarosa confirmed to me as having played the second-hand audio recording to her last year confirmed that they have no tape, never had possession of a tape, never claimed to have possession of a tape and never played such a tape for Ms. Manigault-Newman. Based upon her conflicting accounts and the newfound information revealed in my statement, it should be abundantly clear to everyone that not only is her book a complete work of fiction, but that the existence of this elusive "N-word" tape is a figment of her imagination and merely a destructive tool of manipulation applied only when it best serves her interests." (Read more)

- Father, it is clear Ms. Manigault-Newman planned to betray President Trump for financial gain from the very beginning of her involvement in the campaign. We pray You will expose her malicious slander and expose those who have promoted and enabled this coordinated attack upon President Trump and his Administration.

- Their malice may be concealed by deception, but their wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. (Proverbs 26:26)

5. The Coordinated Purge of Right-Wing Sites Has Begun - American Greatness

It's no secret that the major social media sites and tech giants, almost entirely controlled by the Left, are silencing right-wing voices in the wake of Donald Trump's election as president. The methods they use for censorship are often more insidious and gradual, ranging from subtly removing certain sites from search engines, or purging several thousand users and dismissing all of them as "Nazis" or "Russian bots."

Now, the Masters of the Digiverse have engaged in the single most outright, blatant, and obviously coordinated act of censorship in recent memory. And the target is an all-too familiar and purposely unsympathetic one. The controversial right-wing commentator Alex Jones, who has been accused of spreading conspiracy theories through his outlet InfoWars, is now effectively purged from all but one of the major social media giants. In one fell swoop, Jones and InfoWars were permanently banned from Facebook, YouTube, Apple, and Spotify. With only Twitter left to speak to his audience, Jones claims that he was removed from all four platforms within a 12-hour span.

Jones' official YouTube channel, now deleted allegedly for "violating YouTube's Community Guidelines," had garnered more than 2.5 million subscribers and over 1.5 billion total video views. Combined with the other platforms from which Jones was removed, his audience easily constituted anywhere from 4 to 5 million people.

Whatever one may think of Jones and some of his outlandish comments, the fact that his platform, with an audience of millions, was suddenly purged from almost all major social media websites on the same day should be cause for fear and outrage. (Read more)

- Father, we pray You will renew the American desire to be and remain free. Ignite us like a flame against this censorship. Judge those who silence others and remove them from their places of power and influence.

- God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. (Daniel 5:26-27)

6. Trump: "Deal with is Mexico Coming Along Nicely . . . Canada Must Wait." - Breitbart

President Donald Trump Friday confirmed rumors that the U.S. is nearing a trade deal with Mexico but is still far from reaching an agreement with Canada. The president tweeted that an agreement with Mexico "is coming along nicely." He described the newly elected Mexican president as "an absolute gentleman."

On Wednesday, Breitbart reported that former New York Stock Exchange President Tom Farley said expected Trump to reach a trade deal with Mexico before the midterm elections and possibly with the European Union. "Likely not Canada. China will be the bogeyman. You'll see China continue to struggle. And then the idea will be can we get a big trade deal prior to [Donald Trump's] next election" in 2020, Farley said.

Before the NAFTA negotiations got underway, many predicted that Trump would have the hardest time working with Mexico because of his promise to erect a wall along the border. Instead, Trump and his administration officials have discovered they have a lot of common ground and negotiations have gone well. It is Canada that has proven the stumbling block in renegotiating NAFTA. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the renewed trade and border security agreement between Mexico and the United States will improve economic opportunities and stabilize both nations.

- Give the king Your judgments, O God, and Your righteousness to the king's son. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders. And blessed be His glorious name forever; and may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. (Psalm 72:1, 18-19)

7. Former Ohio State Wrestler Recants Claim That Jim Jordan Knew Of Sexual Abuse - Daily Caller

A former Ohio State University wrestler is recanting his claims that Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan knew of sexual abuse allegations against a university physician when he coached wrestling at the school over 20 years ago. "At no time did I ever say or have any direct knowledge that Jim Jordan knew of Dr. Richard Strauss's inappropriate behavior," Mark Coleman, a former MMA fighter who wrestled at Ohio State when Jordan coached there, said in a statement. "I have nothing but respect for Jim Jordan as I have known him for more than 30 years and know him to be of impeccable character."

Coleman is the first former OSU wrestler to recant his claims that Jordan knew about sexual abuse at the hands of Dr. Richard Strauss, an OSU physician accused of molesting dozens of student-athletes. Jordan, who was an assistant coach at OSU from 1986 to 1994, was first linked to the allegations against Strauss in an NBC News article published July 3. A former wrestler named Mike DiSabato led the push to accuse Jordan of turning a blind eye to Strauss's behavior.

Coleman is also distancing himself from DiSabato, a sports marketing executive who has sued Ohio State University in the past. "Mike DiSabato and his PR representative have released information and made statements publicly without my authorization and, in my opinion, are using them to exploit and embarrass The Ohio State University," Coleman said in his statement. "I am distancing myself from Mike DiSabato as he is not my manager and does not speak for me. I am also disappointed with many of the public statements made by Mr. DiSabato and his personal attacks on individuals employed by the university and others." (Read more)

- Father, we pray this report of Jim Jordan's innocence will reach every person who heard or read these accusations. Restore him fully, and expose the motives of those who came against him.

- Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. (Romans 12:19)

8. Missouri Democrats Slam Door on Pro-Life Voters - Free Beacon

For about a month, the Missouri Democratic Party was willing to accept voters with "differing positions on issues of personal conscience." But over the weekend, party leadership decided to rescind the olive branch it extended to pro-life Democrats earlier this summer. An amendment voted into the platform by party leadership in late June was voted back out this past Saturday-a move that Democrats opposed to an abortion purity test say the party will regret in November.

The platform clearly states the party supports "a woman's right to choose" and would "oppose any efforts to limit access to reproductive health." The now-removed amendment had stated a willingness to "welcome into our ranks all Missourians." Kristen Day, executive director of Democrats for Life of America, a national group that advocates for the Democrats to open its door to pro-life voters, called it a "mistake" to reverse course and said party chairman Stephen Webber was giving in to pressure from the "abortion lobby."

Day said she spoke to several pro-life Missouri Democrats since the amendment was removed and found many growing tired of being told they don't belong in the party. "There are so many issues we care about, so we usually hold our nose and vote for them anyway," Day said. "They want us to shut up and vote. Well, we're not going to do that anymore." (Read more)

- Father, we pray voters will diligently consider both the Democratic and Republican Party's state and national platforms and vote accordingly. We pray, especially those called by Your Name, will not be deceived to support those who deny the truth of Your Word.

- Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. (John 17:17)

9. Turkey on the Brink: Erdogan Takes a Swing at Trump, Aligns with 'Global Jihad Movement' - CBN News

With Turkey's currency crashing, the government's response has been to blame outsiders and double down on a bad economic policy that is only making it worse. The Turkish lira had lost 44 percent of its value against the dollar this year before recovering slightly overnight. And there are already signs that it's dragging down markets in Asia.

The crisis accelerated last Friday after President Trump promised to double tariffs on Turkish exports because of Turkey's continued detention of American Pastor Andrew Brunson.

Some say Turkey is already a de facto dictatorship. And by virtue of its location, sitting between the Middle East and Europe, it is one of the most strategically important nations in the world. There is concern that it may turn its back on the US and NATO and become an ally of Russia or China. Foreign policy analyst Dr. Christopher Hull believes it's already happened. "ErdoÄŸan himself is proving that he's hostile to America, he's hostile to the West, he's hostile to our values," Hull said. "He is much too closely aligned to the global jihad movement. He's creating an Islamic state." (Read more)

- Father, we have watched the rise of Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan and have seen the anti-Christ spirit working through him. We pray change will come, freeing Pastor Brunson and the Turkish people from his suffocating dictatorship.

- Therefore, Your Majesty, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed. It may be that then your prosperity will continue. (Daniel 4:27)

10. Kudlow says China's currency fall is money leaving the country: 'They're going to be in a heap of trouble' - CNBC

President Donald Trump's chief economic advisor, Larry Kudlow, said Friday that he believes that China's economy is beginning to decline, pointing to U.S. tariffs as part of the pressure as the country's currency continues its sharp drop. "Some of the currency fall is money leaving China," Kudlow, director of the White House's National Economic Council, said in an interview with Bloomberg TV. "If money leaves China, and the currency could be a leading indicator, they're going to be in a heap of trouble."

Kudlow believes the fall in China's yuan is due to Beijing stopping its defense of the currency, saying he believes the Chinese "think it's going to offset the U.S. efforts to help get rid of their unfair trading." The yuan has declined steadily since the trade war began, with its price against the U.S. dollar near its lowest levels in the last 10 years. On Thursday, Goldman Sachs economists said the currency's decline may have been behind the latest threat from the Trump administration to raise tariffs to 25 percent on another $200 billion in Chinese goods, from an earlier proposal for 10 percent. The economists said the performance of the currency may impact the U.S. decision on future tariffs.

Several U.S. administrations have threatened to call China a currency manipulator. Trump recently complained that China was keeping its currency low at the expense of the U.S., as he criticized the Federal Reserve's interest rate policies. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the pressure campaign on China's currency and economy will bring a quick end to the trade war and bring about the necessary structural changes between our two nations.

- Who planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are renowned in the earth? The Lord Almighty planned it, to bring down her pride in all her splendor and to humble all who are renowned on the earth. (Isaiah 23:8-9)

11. Trump Approves Largest-Ever Aid Package to Israel - United with Israel

US President Donald Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) on Monday, which includes $550 million in assistance to Israel and temporarily halts the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Turkey. This comes amid tensions between Washington and Ankara, which is currently holding an American pastor hostage, among other political moves.

The $717 billion Act includes a bipartisan measure honoring a decade-long Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between America and Israel, with the US giving $3.8 billion annually to the Jewish state.

The NDAA, titled the "John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for 2019," authorizes funds for research and development pertaining to weapon-defense systems, including the Iron Dome, David's Sling, Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 that help Israel defend against missile and rocket threats.

Additionally, the law provides $50 million for joint US-Israeli work on counter-tunnel technology, which has emerged as a major security threat to Israel in recent years from the Palestinian Gaza-based terror group Hamas. (Read more)

200 Newspapers expected to protest Trump

Poynter.org's Al Thompson, whose bio includes that he "has taught thousands of journalists, journalism students and educators in newsrooms around the world," says there will be a massive protest of journalists Thursday where "more than 200 newspapers will publish editorials in a "coordinated response" to President Trump calling the press the "enemy of the people." Each publication will write its own editorial." Poynter.org claims to be the global leader in journalism as instructor, innovator, convener and resource for "anyone who aspires to engage and inform citizens in 21stcentury democracies." This is a case of never arguing with someone who buys their ink by the barrel. A protest of "journalists." Uh-huh, right.

Journalism is defined by Merriam-Webster as "writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or description of events without an attempt at interpretation." Subsequently, a journalist is "a writer or editor for a news medium." Journalists are supposed to report the facts without interpretation. This is key. No matter whether atheist or religious, liberal or conservative, communist or capitalist, journalists are supposed to report the news without bias. Certainly, one can argue that journalists will report the news based on the lens in which they view it. Notwithstanding, journalists should make a conscious attempt to be unbiased in their reporting.

If you watch the news on television, hear it on the radio, or read it somewhere, discerning the truth has become so difficult in this environment because of the bias of those reporting the news. Most are so leftist in their belief system that they cannot imagine that anyone would disagree with them-so they report the news from an extremely biased position, making them editorialists, not journalists. Point number 1 of the smartest things for journalists Thompson says he heard anybody say in 2017 was "It is important for you to know what you believe, but it is more important for you to ask yourself regularly, "Why do I believe what I believe?" If you are unbiased, it shouldn't matter. But herein is the point: Journalists are supposed to report the facts in unbiased fashion, their beliefs aside.

Today's "journalists" report what they believe to be true. Most journalists vote Democrat, and most admit they are progressive. The end, therefore, justifies the means. Hence, over 90% of the stories written or aired by mainstream "journalists" are negative toward the current pragmatic, conservative President. A Pew Research study revealed that this compares with 20% negative coverage of the progressive former president. To me, it boils down to Christ. He said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life." And in John 8:32, Christ said that if you continue in his word, "then you will know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." When you see those 200 editorials whining about Trump's characterization of journalists, keep in mind that collectively they have no clue of what is truth, so they can't even write it.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

There Really is a Deep State

There Really is a Deep State

"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered," as Thomas Payne wrote, yet "we have this consolation with us that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value."

America's Millennial and Z generations appear thus far not to appreciate freedom's 'dearness'. For all they know, freedom is free. They may soon learn the true cost of independence. Human nature does not change. It is today as it was twenty centuries ago. History, therefore, constantly repeats itself.

Using their experience with tyranny to good purpose, the 17th-century Founders established checks and balances to separate powers within a constitutional framework. They were anxious to prevent any branch of the new government from grabbing power away from the others. Biblicaly literate, they recognized that natural man cannot act contrary to his corrupted nature. Without God as the source of standards for governance, freedom becomes precarious.

Scripture teaches that sin carries to the third and fourth generation [1], unless broken by spiritual regeneration. The Founders placed a premium on Biblical education among youth. They doubtlessly understood that natural man acting against his corrupted nature is just as improbable as water flowing uphill, to paraphrase A.W. Pink.[2]
Secularists deny the fact that America's Founders established the Bible as the 'principal text' in public education. Fisher Ames, author of the first Amendment and formulator of the Bill of Rights, warned in 1789: "We have a dangerous trend beginning to take place in our education. We're starting to put more and more textbooks into our schools. . . We've become accustomed of late of putting little books into the hands of children containing fables and moral lessons. . . We are spending less time in the classroom on the Bible, which should be the principal text of our schools."
. . . As long as secularists control the cultural mountains of influence, America will continue her downward spiral. The ongoing profanation of the culture provides unequivocal testimony to that. Millennial and Z generations ultimately will either return the nation to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or face profound consequences. For, as the Hungarian theologian Adolph Saphir noted, "There is no safety in distance from God."[4]

Unless Christians start bringing Biblical values outside of the church building into the public square, spiritual deflation and collapse is only a matter of time. America is on the verge of learning something that can be learned in no other way: "Notwithstanding all our blowing, the fire will not burn without the Lord."[5]

And that brings us to 2018. . .

Signs and Wonders

Thousands Gather in Israeli Desert for Meteor Shower
Thousands of star-gazers gathered overnight at one of the darkest spots in Israel hoping to be dazzled by the annual Perseid meteor shower, only to be left somewhat disappointed by the show.

Locals had the rare task of directing traffic on a moonless Monday night in Mitzpe Ramon in the heart of the Negev Desert, a spot surrounded by terrain described as similar to a lunar or Martian landscape.

The Feinberg family from the Tel Aviv region drove for two-and-a-half hours for the display but the number of meteors, about one or fewer per minute, failed to truly light up the Ramon Crater's dark night sky as in previous years.

"We are here waiting for the stars to fall, the children are very impatient," said Eliran Feinberg, 42, who works for an air cargo company. (Algemeiner)

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
