Vice-President Mike Pence: In the Middle East
- Father, we thank You for Mike and Karen Pence, and for their love for Israel. We ask You to keep them safe, under the shelter of Your Wing, throughout this journey. We pray that their Shalom would be released on the land, bringing Your peace to this troubled part of the world. In Your Name, Abba, we pray, amen.
- " . . . and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20)
1. Pence lands in Israel as PM stresses 'no alternative' to US as peace broker - Times of Israel
US President Mike Pence arrived in Tel Aviv Sunday evening for a two-day visit to Israel amid unprecedented tensions with the Palestinians over President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital last month.
Pence and his wife, Karen, were greeted on the tarmac at Ben Gurion Airport by Tourism Minister Yariv Levin along with a small group of dignitaries including US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and his Israeli counterpart in the US, Ron Dermer.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Pence to Israel in a Facebook post, and later at an event for foreign diplomats, hailing the vice president as a "great friend of Israel."
Netanyahu also stressed that "there is no alternative" to the United States as a peacebroker, and that anyone who rejects the US as a peacebroker "does not want peace." This was a reference to the Palestinian Authority's declared refusal to have any dealings with the Trump administration's peace team since Trump's Jerusalem declaration on December 6.
Pence will meet with Netanyahu on Monday, before addressing the country's parliament, the Knesset, later in the day - a speech that Israeli Arab lawmakers will boycott.
On Tuesday, he will visit Jerusalem's Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism, and the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, before departing. (Read more)

3. Arab MK calls Pence 'dangerous, messianic,' will boycott his Knesset speech - Times of Israel
Arab Israeli lawmakers will boycott Mike Pence's speech to the Knesset, with the head of a coalition of Arab parties saying Saturday that the US vice president is "dangerous" and has a "messianic vision" that threatens the region.
Pence landed in Egypt Saturday to kick off a Middle East trip that will also include stops in Jordan and Israel, after canceling a December visit due to the passage of US tax reform.
Ahead of his arrival, Joint (Arab) List leader Ayman Odeh said MKs in his party would not attend Pence's Knesset speech due to US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. (Read more)
4. Pence says he and Jordan's Abdullah 'agreed to disagree' on Jerusalem - YNET News
US Vice President Mike Pence said on Sunday at the end of talks with Jordan's King Abdullah that he had "agreed to disagree" with the monarch about Washington's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Earlier the monarch had warned the visiting top US official about the consequences of President Donald Trump's move, saying it destablized the region, fuelled radicalism and could hamper efforts to reach a comprehensive settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
In remarks during talks with US Pence in Amman, hours before he lands in Israel for a three-day visit, the king said the only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was a two-state one.(Read more)
5. In Egypt: Trump 'firmly committed' to restarting peace process, Pence says - Jerusalem Post
The Trump administration is "firmly committed to restarting the peace process" between Israel and the Palestinians, US Vice President Mike Pence told reporters in Cairo on Saturday.
Departing Egypt after two-and-a-half hours of meetings with its president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Pence said that they privately discussed the matter of Middle East peace, as well as US President Donald Trump's decision last month to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
"We heard Sisi out," Pence said, describing his view of the controversial policy decision as "a disagreement between friends."
"We also reaffirm what President Trump also said," Pence added, that "we are committed to a status quo of holy sites around Jerusalem." (Read more)

1. Liberman: Hamas is growing offshoots in southern Lebanon - Jerusalem Post
Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman on Friday said Hamas is trying to strengthen its presence in south Lebanon and to attack Israel from there.
"It must be understood that Hamas, which finds it hard to carry out attacks from the Gaza Strip, is currently trying to launch attack from the West Bank and is also trying - in new arenas, first of all in southern Lebanon - to threaten the State of Israel," he said at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
Liberman said that Israel has been following the growing relationship between Hamas and Hezbollah. "We will not allow [a situation where] on the one hand Hamas talks about the humanitarian crisis [in Gaza] and on the other hand it will try to carry out terrorist attacks from the West Bank or to build terrorist infrastructures in southern Lebanon," he said.

2. Abbas to ask EU to recognize 'Palestine' - Israel National News
Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas will ask the EU to officially recognize the state of "Palestine" when he meets foreign ministers from the bloc on Monday, a senior official told AFP Sunday.
Riad al-Malki, the PA official in charge of foreign affairs, said Abbas will tell the EU it should take the step "as a way to respond" to U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.
At the same time, Abbas will also "reiterate his commitment to the peace process" in the Middle East, Malki said in an interview with AFP in Brussels.

3. IDF soldier injured in attempted car-ramming attack near Jordan River baptism site - JNS
(Israel Hayom/Exclusive to JNS) An Israeli soldier was lightly wounded in an attempted car-ramming terror attack near the Qasr Al-Yahud baptism site in the Jordan Valley on Friday.
The incident came a day after hundreds of Orthodox Christian pilgrims re-enacted the baptism of Jesus in the same spot on the Jordan River. The wounded soldier was treated at the scene by a Magen David Adom emergency medical team and did not require hospitalization.
The Palestinian driver was quickly detained. The IDF classed the incident as an attempted terrorist attack. According to reports, the driver had approached the baptism site in his vehicle and was stopped by soldiers manning a security checkpoint. The driver demanded to be let in and an altercation erupted, with the terrorist refusing to heed the soldiers' instructions and driving through the checkpoint. He then hit a combat soldier patrolling the site.

5. Israel won't prosecute embassy guard over Jordan shootings: sources - Reuters
Israel will not prosecute a guard from its embassy in Amman who killed two Jordanians in July, as had long been demanded by the kingdom, two Israeli sources said on Sunday.
Instead, the Foreign Ministry and Shin Bet security agency will review protocols surrounding the actions taken by the guard, and his conduct, "and share the results with the Jordanians", a diplomatic source said.
The killings led to a rift between the countries, which both said last week had been mended.
Jordan said Israel had apologized for the embassy deaths, would compensate the victims' next of kin and "implement and follow up legal measures" in the case.

1. Trump Calls for 'Nuclear Option' to End Shutdown - Newsmax
Feuding Democrats and Republicans in Congress are trying to dodge blame for a paralyzing standoff over immigration and showing few signs of progress on negotiations needed to end a government shutdown that stretched into a second day Sunday.
The finger-pointing played out in rare weekend proceedings in both the House and Senate, where lawmakers were eager to show voters they were actively working for a solution - or at least actively making their case why the other party was at fault. The scene highlighted the political stakes for both parties in an election-year shutdown whose consequences are far from clear.
On Sunday morning, President Donald Trump upped the ante by tweeting that Senate Republicans should go "nuclear" if the government shutdown continues.
"Great to see how hard Republicans are fighting for our Military and Safety at the Border. The Dems just want illegal immigrants to pour into our nation unchecked," Trump tweeted. "If stalemate continues, Republicans should go to 51% (Nuclear Option) and vote on real, long term budget, no C.R.'s!" (Read more)
- Father, we realize that the triggering the "nuclear option" in the Senate protocol is a desperate measure, but perhaps it is time to do so. We call upon You, O Lord, once again, to grant Your wisdom to the members of the United States Senate, so that they may, indeed, resolve this issue. In Your Name, amen.
- "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)
2. Donald Trump Becomes First President to Address March for Life: We Are With You All the Way - Christian Post
Speaking via satellite from the Rose Garden of the White House on Friday, Trump stated that he was "honored" and "proud" to be the first commander-in-chief to address the March for Life. "Today, tens of thousands of families, students, and patriots, and really just great citizens, gather here in our Nation's Capital," said Trump, his speech broadcast on a large screen before the March for Life rally attendees at the National Mall. "You come from many backgrounds, many places, but you all come for one beautiful cause: to build a society where life is celebrated, protected, and cherished. The March for Life is a movement born out of love. You love your families, you love your neighbors, you love our nation, and you love every child, born and unborn, because you believe that every life is sacred, that every child is a precious gift from God. Because of you, tens of thousands of Americans have been born and reached their full God-given potential."
During his remarks, Trump touted his pro-life efforts as president, including the reinstituting of the Mexico City Policy, which bans the government funding of abortions overseas, and reversing an Obama-era policy that made it hard for state governments to defund Planned Parenthood. Most recently, his administration issued a new proposal to protect conscience rights of medical professionals. Noting that the United States is one of seven countries that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks, Trump also denounced such abortions as "wrong" and that "it has to change."
Vice President Mike Pence, who spoke in person at the 2017 March for Life, gave introductory remarks wherein he called Trump "the most pro-life president in American history. And know, as you march for life, that your compassion, your persistence, your activism and your prayers are saving lives. And this pro-life generation should never doubt we are with you, this president stands with you, and He who said 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,' is with you as well." (Read more)
- Father, we are truly grateful for leadership that embraces life. We pray the hearts of our entire nation will turn in compassion towards our children and our children's hearts will turn to You.
- "See, I will send you Elijah the man of God before the day of the Lord comes, that great day that will be full of much trouble. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Or else I will come and destroy the land with a curse." (Malachi 4:5-6)
3. Trump protects pro-life consciences - Washington Examiner
Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators will participate today in the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. On this cold 45th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, marchers young and old and of every race and creed, will petition their representatives and protest in front of the Supreme Court to end abortion.
To coincide with this, President Trump's Department of Health and Human Services has created an entire new division dedicated to safeguarding the livelihoods of medical professionals who don't want to perform or participate in abortions. Federal law already says such professionals may not be discriminated against just because they object to the grisly practice of abortion. But actions by Democratic politicians and left-wing activists in recent years have increasingly called into question the commitment on one side of the cultural divide to respecting the consciences of these professionals, and of everyone else, for that matter. (Read more)
- Father, we know all religious liberty rests on the right not to be compelled to do something against our will and Your Word. We pray these protections will be upheld by the Supreme Court when challenged.
- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
4. Fusion GPS Founder Admits: Couldn't Confirm Dossier Allegations, Spread Them To Media Anyway - Daily Caller
Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson made a surprising if not damning admission in his interview with the House Intelligence Committee in November. According to a transcript of his interview, released late Thursday, Simpson acknowledged that he "will never" be able to confirm a key allegation made in the infamous Steele dossier about Carter Page, the former Trump campaign adviser.
The admission is significant because of the likelihood that the FBI and Justice Department relied on allegations made about Page in the dossier to obtain a surveillance warrant against him prior to the 2016 election. And though Simpson apparently did not know whether some of the allegations about Page in the dossier were accurate, he admitted spreading the information to journalists as part of a broad media outreach campaign. That media outreach push was tacitly approved by the Clinton campaign and DNC, both of which paid Fusion GPS to investigate Trump. (Read more)
- Father, this Fusion GPS dossier is clearly slander. We pray You would put an end to these salacious accusations and bring those responsible to justice.
- The Lord hates six things; in fact, seven are detestable to Him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet eager to run to evil, a lying witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up trouble among brothers. (Proverbs 6:16-19)
5. GOP Lawmakers Shocked By House Intel Report Alleging Surveillance Abuse - Daily Caller
A classified House Intelligence Committee memo viewed by Republican lawmakers Thursday has been described as "shocking" and "explosive" by the congressmen who read it. National security journalist and Fox News contributor Sara Carter reported Thursday that the memo shows "extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse." The memo also reportedly contains information about the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as well as the infamous Trump-Russia dossier. Carter also writes that sources told her "they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates."
Gaetz also issued a statement on his congressional website Thursday calling for the document to be released to the public, writing, "The House must immediately make public the memo prepared by the Intelligence Committee regarding the FBI and the Department of Justice. The facts contained in this memo are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency. There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy." North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows told Fox News, "It's troubling. It is shocking. Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don't want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much." (Read more)
- Father, we pray this report will be released to the public without delay, and we pray those who have misused our intelligence agencies and courts will be held accountable.
- The Lord is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. (Psalm 9:16)
6. Supreme Court announces it will rule on Trump's travel ban - Fox News
The Supreme Court announced Friday it will take up the case against the latest version of President Trump's travel ban, which bars entry in to the United States for residents of six majority-Muslim countries. The court will hear arguments in April and is expected to issue a ruling by June. The announcement was celebrated by opponents of the ban.
"We have always known this case would ultimately be decided by the United States Supreme Court," said Hawaii Attorney General Doug Chin, who has challenged the ban. "This will be an important day for justice and the rule of law. We look forward to the court hearing the case." The president's travel ban has been repeatedly blocked and struck down in the lower courts since last year. Last month, the high court said the ban could be fully enforced while appeals made their way through the courts. The policy applies to travelers from Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen. It also affects two non-Muslim countries: blocking travelers from North Korea and some Venezuelan government officials and their families. (Read more)
- Father, we pray the Supreme Court will reign in the power of lower courts to issue orders infringing upon Executive authority and our Constitutional separation of powers.
- Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster, and their reign of terror will come to an end. (Proverbs 22:8)
7. Pentagon Shifts Strategic Focus from Terrorism to Nation States - Free Beacon
The Pentagon has shifted American defense strategy from a focus on countering terrorism to dealing with threats posed by anti-democratic states such as China and Russia. "Inter-state strategic competition, not terrorism, is now the primary concern in U.S. national security," the unclassified summary of the new strategy says. "Long-term strategic competitions with China and Russia are the principal priorities for the department, and require both increased and sustained investment, because of the magnitude of the threats they pose to U.S. security and prosperity today, and the potential for those threats to increase in the future."
Mattis recalled traveling by commercial jet to his nomination hearing last year thinking "how do I put 'America first' into, in my mind, an alliance framework. And, as we were getting ready to take off, you know what happened. You all can recite it from memory. The stewardess was standing there, and she said, 'In the event we lose cabin pressure when the masks drop, put your own mask on first, then help others.' "So what we're going to do is restore America's economic viability, because no nation in history has maintained its military power that was not economically viable and did not keep its fiscal house in order," Mattis said. (Read more)
- Father, we thank You for this shift in focus and we pray You will continue to give our military leaders wisdom as they prepare for future challenges.
- A sensible man watches for problems ahead and prepares to meet them.

8. Revisit plans to break up the 9th Circuit - Las Vegas Review Journal
Donald Trump has already left his mark on the federal judiciary through numerous selections for the bench. But he also has the opportunity to agitate for another lasting judicial reform: the breakup of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The 9th Circuit, which includes Nevada, is by far the largest of the 13 federal appellate courts, covering nine Western states and two Pacific island territories. It has 29 active judges and 20 senior jurists, dwarfing any other appeals court.
Writing in the Wall Street Journal last week, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich and Ilya Shapiro of the Cato Institute note, "The 9th Circuit has an astonishing backlog, accounting for nearly a third of all pending federal appeals. It takes an average of 13 months to decide a case, the longest of any circuit and almost five months more than the national average." Common sense would dictate that court be split into two or more manageable districts. But politics dominates the issue. The 9th Circuit is the nation's most liberal appellate court, and Democrats are wary of deconsolidation. But it makes little sense to defend the status quo on political grounds if the result is a delay in the administration of justice for those involved in litigation. (Read more)
- Lord, bless those who are working to break up the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Help them have the resources needed to accomplish this goal.
- You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.
(Deuteronomy 16:19)
9. DOJ Backs Christian Students in School Choice Case - Free Beacon
The Department of Justice filed an amicus brief Thursday in support of students claiming they were discriminated against after the state of Montana denied them placement in a tax credit scholarship program because the school they attended was a Christian one. The case, Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue, concerns a the Montana Tax Credit Scholarship Program, which allows Montanans to deduct up to $150 of their contribution to a privately run scholarship program. The state department of revenue prompted the suit when it added a rule prohibiting tax credits for contributions to schools owned or operated by "a church, religious sect, or denomination."
"The Constitution prohibits states from discriminating based on religion," said Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand. "Today's amicus brief is further proof that this administration will lead by example on religious liberty." The Department's brief is an extension of Attorney General Jeff Sessions's religious liberty priorities, specifically guidance extended by the Department in October on federal religious liberty protections. That guidance stipulated that state governments may not "deny religious schools-including schools whose curricula and activities include religious elements-the right to participate in a voucher program, so long as the aid reaches the schools through independent decisions of parents." (Read more)
- Father, we pray our schoolchildren and their parents will be free to choose the school that is best for them. Thank You for this action by the Department of Justice on behalf of these families.
- Teach a youth about the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
10. Trump accuses Russia of assisting N. Korea in violation of sanctions - Jerusalem Online
US President Donald Trump says Russia is sabotaging Washington's efforts to halt North Korea's nuclear development program. In an interview with Reuters, Trump accused Russia of helping North Korea get supplies in violation of international sanctions, adding that Pyongyang is getting "closer every day" to being able to hit the United States with a long-range missile.
"Russia is not helping us at all with North Korea," said Trump. "What China is helping us with, Russia is denting. In other words, Russia is making up for some of what China is doing." Trump also expressed doubt that holding direct talks with North Korea's leader Kim Jong-Un would be useful. "I'd sit down, but I'm not sure that sitting down will solve the problem," he said. "They've talked for 25 years and they've taken advantage of our presidents." He declined to confirm or deny that the US is considering a preemptive military strike on North Korea. "We're playing a very, very hard game of poker and you don't want to reveal your hand," Trump said. (Read more)
- Father, we pray for cooperation in isolating North Korea until they end their nuclear program. We thank You for recent progress and pray the Trump administration will be effective with their policies.
- This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies says: You can be sure that I will rescue my people from the east and from the west. (Zechariah 8:7)

Deep state against Trump and YOU
There is a four-page memo making its rounds in Congress allegedly showing how the previous "president's" administration, specifically the Department of Justice and the FBI, used the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to spy on Americans and to try to bring down the Presidential campaign of Donald Trump. Members of the House Intelligence Committee are describing the contents of the document "alarming" and liken it to Soviet-era KGB tactics. The Committee voted to make the memo public. The Daily Jot began reporting on FISA in 2013 after the ACLU filed suit that the previous administration was using FISA to spy on American citizens, but the spy saga gets far worse.
In March 2017, President Trump accused the ex-"president" of wire-tapping his campaign, setting off a barrage of sanctimonious denials from Democrats and the ex "president." The ex-"president's" spokesman Kevin Lewis said, "A cardinal rule of the [sic] Administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither the [sic] "president" nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any US citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false." Lewis lied. The White House had routinely ordered surveillance on US citizens, and used information to concoct a story to influence the elections.
The previous White House used the FISA court to back door "authority" to collect information folks like you and me. The UK Guardian reported in March 2017 that the broad scope of the court's orders and nature of the procedures established in FISA documents it obtained appeared "to clash" with assurances from the ex-"president" and senior intelligence officials that the National Security Agency could not access your telephone and email information without warrants. Now it is revealed that the previous Administration weaved a web of deceit to undermine an opposing party's presidential candidacy. The court established to fight terrorism likely was used in a failed attempt to hold control of the White House.
The FISA court audited this spying and in June issued a 99 page opinion written by judge Rosemary Collyer, who stated that Fourth Amendment rights of privacy were violated by the ex "president's" administration as early as October 2011 and continued through 2016. This information collected on US citizens was shared with the FBI, CIA and National Counterterrorism Center in violation of regulations. Now we are finding that these abuses continued and interfered with the 2016 Presidential election. Proverbs 26:26 says, "[He] Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shown before the whole congregation." This wickedness is beginning to be revealed. Unfortunately, Congress voted to renew FISA. Hopefully, the deep state will no longer abuse what was established to protect Americans.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Iranian Christian Convert Leads 1,500 Muslims to Christ in Sweden - Christian Post
An Iranian convert to Christianity who is now an ordained minister in the Church of Sweden says she has helped bring nearly 1,500 Muslims to Christ over the past five years. Two years after moving to Sweden she was baptized in the Christian faith. In 2006, she survived a car accident, which is when she said she realized God spared her life so that she could help Muslims come to Christ.
In 2012, Parson became a minister in the Church of Sweden, focusing much of her work on reaching out to the Muslim community and inviting them to explore the faith. "I have serious threats at least a couple of times per year, a threat of a knife attack or a bomb attack. I have a police officer attached to my case I can always call, and we have security during our services. I have other threats from my own distant family members," she revealed. "But for me, what I do is worth it." (Read more)

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
"God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever." (Galatians 1:4-5)
Lyrics
To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Refrain
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Refrain
Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

Three Reports: Meteors Falling from the Skies
1. Sunday, January 7th: Stunning bright light turned night to day over vast swathe of Russia - The Siberian Times
The extraordinary light show - seen here on videos - came on the night of Orthodox Christmas Day this week.
The black sky suddenly turned momentarily deep blue as if on a bright day - but according to some accounts, the earth moved too.
Experts insist the phenomenon was not manmade: there were no reports of missile tests or explosions. Nor were there reports of meteorites striking the earth.
Witnesses had the feeling something massive had happened - but what? (Read more)
2. Wednesday, January 10th - Mysterious Sound Rattles DFW Neighborhood - CBS/Dallas
A mysterious "boom" rattled a North Texas neighborhood and residents have no idea what exactly it was or what it could mean. Residents in North Oak Cliff said they heard an explosive noise around 8:34 p.m. on Wednesday night. Some reported seeing a flash first, then the loud noise.
Resident Isaac Martinez managed to capture a short video of the event from his security cameras. "Out of nowhere, just this pow!" said Phillip Washington, who heard the noise from his Kings Highway apartment. "Just this huge explosion." Washington was one of many who reported hearing the noise. "It was without a doubt, the loudest sound that I've heard," said Washington. "You could feel the percussion of the sound."
"It was immediately apparent that something had fallen from the sky," said Ron DiIulio, an astronomer at the University of North Texas. DiIulio said the noise was from a sonic boom caused by either a meteorite or some sort of space debris. "As it's coming in, it explodes. But as it's exploding it's also passing the speed of sound. So that's what we're get as it comes in," said DiIulio. (Read more)
3. Tuesday, January 16th: Huge, mysterious bright light shoots across sky in US - The Independent UK
Disturbance was likely caused by crashing meteor, officials said
A huge, mysterious bright light shot across the US sky overnight - and it's not clear what it was. The stunning flash startled drivers and the explosion was enough to rattle the walls of people's homes, according to residents.
Official weather agencies say the phenomenon can't be explained by the thunder and lightning. Instead, it's most likely that the flash was the result of a meteor entering the atmosphere, but that hasn't yet been confirmed.
Some around southeast Michigan reported that alongside the flash they felt buildings shake and pictures even fell off the wall. The flash and the disturbance came around 8.15pm local time, affecting cities around the Great Lakes like Detroit, Ann Arbor and Flint. (Read more)

Oxygen levels look wonderful and it's just a miracle from God and everybody's just amazed. They're just praising Him. Just ecstatic."

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
Friends may participate by receiving our daily prayer alerts. You may contact us at chpp1994@gmail.com for more information. CHPP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry. Thank you and God bless you!
