1. Pompeo and Pence will meet with Erdogan after Turkish leader backs off refusal - CNBC
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday that he and Vice President Mike Pence will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara despite the foreign leader earlier saying he would not attend.
"At this point, the vice president and I are planning to take off later this afternoon," Pompeo said. "And we have every expectation that we will meet with President Erdogan. And it's important, Maria, we need to have this conversation with him directly."
The comments came during an interview with Fox Business's Maria Bartiromo. They came shortly before the U.S. delegation, including Pence, Pompeo and national security adviser Robert O'Brien were scheduled to travel to Turkey in an effort to stymie the country's military actions in neighboring Syria. 2. Turkey using Israeli-upgraded tanks in anti-Kurd offensive in Syria - Jerusalem Post
Photos near the Turkish border town of Akçakale during Operation Peace Spring of M-60 tanks upgraded by Israeli Military Industries are circulating on social media. In the week since Turkey's offensive began in northern Syria, hundreds of Kurds have been killed and 160,000 people, including 70,000 children, have been displaced from their homes.
Turkey and Israel had been close allies since the 1960s in the defense industry, security cooperation, intelligence sharing and military training, which peaked with the 1994 Defense Cooperation Agreement and 1996 Military Training Cooperation Agreement.
With those two agreements, the military-security ties became one of the closest in the Middle East, with Israel providing intelligence to Turkey in its ongoing fight against the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), and Ankara providing Israel intelligence it had gathered on Iran. (Read more)
3. Syria's Kurds forge 'costly deal' with al-Assad as US pulls out - AlJazeera.com
In a renewed shift in alliances, the Kurdish-led administration in northern Syria announced on Sunday a deal with President Bashar al-Assad's government to allow Syrian troops to deploy along the border with Turkey to stave off a military offensive by Ankara.
The pact, brokered by Russia, came hours after the United States announced it was pulling its troops from Syria to avoid getting caught in clashes between the Turkish military and the Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Mazloum Abdi, the SDF's commander in chief, said his people were forced into an alliance with Washington's foes, Syria and Russia, because the US's pullback had left them vulnerable to a Turkish assault.
Turkey considers the Kurdish fighters who form the backbone of the SDF - the People's Protection Units (YPG) - to be "terrorists" linked to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a Kurdish separatist movement on its soil. The Kurdish-led forces, however, were Washington's main ally in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL, or ISIS) in Syria. And over the course of the years-long battle, the Kurds - who have long campaigned for self-rule - built an autonomous administration in northeast Syria. (Read more)
4. Russian forces sweep into U.S. base abandoned in Syria - Washington Times
Russian mercenary forces have begun sweeping in to fill a security void left by withdrawing U.S. troops in northern Syria, with a video online showing the Moscow-backed mercenaries taking control Tuesday of what was previously an American military outpost.
The video, posted on social media by Russian journalists reportedly traveling with Syrian government forces and Russian mercenaries, showed tents under camouflage netting and other apparent military remnants left behind by U.S. troops near the Syrian town of Manbij.
Russia's defense ministry said Tuesday that Russian military troops were separately patrolling front line areas between Turkish and Syrian army positions near Manbij as part of a Moscow-backed effort to keep the Turks and Syrians from clashing around the town. (Read more)
5. Syrian Kurds defend key border town as Turkey continues onslaught - Times of Israel
AL TAMR, Syria (AFP) - Kurdish forces held out in a key border town Tuesday seven days into a deadly Turkish invasion of northeastern Syria that has caused mass displacement and reshaped the political map.
The United States slapped sanctions on its NATO ally in a bid to stop an assault that its own troop withdrawal from the area triggered but Ankara showed no sign of relenting.
Using a dense network of tunnels, berms and trenches, Kurdish fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been mounting a desperate defense of Ras al-Ain. (Read more)
6. Trump sanctions fail to slow Turkey assault, Assad makes land grab - israelhayom.com
Turkey ignored new sanctions from the United States to press on with its assault on northern Syria on Tuesday, while the Russia-backed Syrian army entered one of the most hotly contested cities, filling a void created by Donald Trump's abrupt retreat.
A week after reversing US policy and moving troops out of the way to allow Turkey to attack Washington's allies in northern Syria, Trump announced a package of sanctions to punish Turkey. (Read more)
7. Franklin Graham calls out Trump, details Samaritan's Purse response to help Kurds - WND
Evangelist Franklin Graham announced on Monday that Samaritan's Purse, the humanitarian organization he leads, is responding to the crisis situation created by Turkey's invasion of northeast Syria. He also urged President Donald Trump to make the "right decisions" to mitigate further suffering.
"Samaritan's Purse is responding as tens of thousands of Kurdish people, Christians, and other minorities are fleeing after Turkey launched an invasion into Syria with its armed forces and Islamic jihadist mercenaries," Graham wrote in a Facebook post. "We will be sending winter clothing, blankets, tarps for temporary shelter, and other relief items."
"My prayer is that God will guide our President and Congress to make the right decisions that would alleviate further suffering and bloodshed. Pray for those fleeing and for our teams as we respond," he continued, tagging Trump at the end of the post.
The Associated Press reported on Monday that "in the past five days, Turkish troops and their allies have pushed into northern towns and villages, clashing with the Kurdish fighters over a stretch of 200 kilometers (125 miles). The offensive has displaced at least 130,000 people." (Read more)

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu submitted an official request on behalf of President Reuven Rivlin to Russian President Vladimir Putin to pardon Naama Issachar and to allow her to return to Israel.
The request was submitted Tuesday evening.

2. Thunderstorms and extreme heat: Unstable weather hits Israel on Sukkot - Ynetnews.com
Showers and strong wind, coupled with above seasonal average heat, forced Israelis out of their traditional frond-covered huts, built for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, as unexpected and unstable weather continued to reign across Israel for a second day in a row.
The temperatures on Tuesday remained above seasonal average and rain hit most parts of Israel in the early hours of the morning, with thunderstorms expected in the southern parts of the country later in the day. Meteorologists warn there are fears of flooding in eastern and southern rivers.

3. Lebanese blame government for blazes - Jerusalem Post
A series of fires broke out in several of Lebanon's mountainous areas on Sunday night, encouraged by high temperatures and strong winds. The biggest fire was in the village of Mushrif in the Mount Lebanon province, threatening homes and schools. Despite the efforts of at least 15 Civil Defense teams to control them, the flames continued to spread in the village that is home to some 600 people.
Wisam Andraos, a resident of Mushrif, told The Media Line that the fire started at around midnight on Sunday. "We called the Civil Defense, which by morning started work to stop the fires, but it wasn't enough. The fires reached three houses and burned some of their outside walls. After that, some of the village's young men had to help the families, and saved their homes," he explained.
On Monday, the Civil Defense members received additional support and the fire was declared 80-percent contained. "If Monday's effort took place at the beginning of the incident, it would have saved the situation and stopped the fire," Andraos said, accusing the government of failing to prepare for the fires. "Their equipment is insufficient and unsuitable, not to mention that they don't support the Civil Defense staff," he complained. "I blame the government and whichever minister is responsible for such things in this country."

5. Netanyahu likely to cancel planned trip to Japanese emperor's coronation - World Israel News
Despite earlier reports, it appears that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will cancel his planned trip to attend the coronation of the new Japanese emperor Naruhito, Ynet reports.
Netanyahu had planned to fly to Japan on Saturday night following the Jewish Sabbath for the coronation, which is scheduled for October 22. World leaders are expected to attend the historic event, including from France, Spain, Germany and Turkey.
Naruhito took over from his father, Akihito, in May. According to Ynet, Israel's Foreign Ministry and the Israeli Embassy in Japan have been preparing for Netanyahu's arrival. However, the date bumps up against Netanyahu's final day to form a coalition government on October 23.

1. Feds Bust 'Largest Dark Web Child Porn Marketplace' - Breitbart
The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia announced charges against the operator of the world's "largest child sexual exploitation market" and hundreds of others in the U.S. and abroad. South Korean officials seized the dark web server which contained about eight terabytes of child porn content.
"Children around the world are safer because of the actions taken by U.S. and foreign law enforcement to prosecute this case and recover funds for victims," U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jessie K. Liu said in a written statement. "We will continue to pursue such criminals on and off the darknet in the United States and abroad, to ensure they receive the punishment their terrible crimes deserve."
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) analyzed the images and videos stored on the server and found more than 250,000 unique videos. The investigation also led to the rescue of 23 minors who were victims of the website's abusive video content.

2. Trump Administration To Reinstate Aid To Central American Countries That Signed Asylum Deals - Daily Caller
President Donald Trump announced the White House will, once again, deliver aid to several Central American countries after their governments entered into asylum agreements with the U.S.
"Guatemala, Honduras & El Salvador have all signed historic Asylum Cooperation Agreements and are working to end the scourge of human smuggling. To further accelerate this progress, the U.S. will shortly be approving targeted assistance in the areas of law enforcement & security," the president tweeted Wednesday.
The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced McAleenan is traveling to San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, where he will meet with leaders of all three Northern Triangle countries to "discuss further collaboration to confront irregular migration and transnational criminal organizations in the region. The Acting Secretary will also participate in a bilateral meeting with Honduran government officials."

3. 'Operation Washout' leads to more than 100 arrests in Central Texas - KWTX
A five day operation led the arrest of more than 100 fugitives in Central Texas. During a press conference Friday afternoon in Waco, representatives of the U.S. Marshals Service, Waco police, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Texas Department of Public Safety and the McLennan County Sheriff's Office detailed the operation.
Law enforcement officers who participated in "Operation Washout" arrested 119 criminals between Sept. 30 and Friday. Among the arrested are people accused dealing drugs, murders and other felonies. Authorities said 24 are known gang members.
"This operation is the epitome of leveraging resources from multiple agencies to have an effect on the community in which we all live work and play as safer place," Waco police Chief Ryan Holt said.

4. States Should Be Allowed to Prosecute Illegal Aliens for Identity Theft, Supreme Court Told - Epoch Times
Kansas should be allowed to prosecute illegal aliens for identity theft when they work under Social Security numbers belonging to others, even though federal immigration law already regulates whether such individuals may work in the United States, the state's attorney general told the Supreme Court on Oct. 16.
Kansas and other states, backed by the Trump administration, want the legal authority to pursue illegal aliens for identity theft and other offenses. A victory by Kansas would give states more power to deal with illegal aliens, instead of relying solely on federal officials.
Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, a Republican first elected to the post in 2010, argued that illegal aliens shouldn't receive any "special immunity" from state prosecution just because the federal government is responsible for regulating immigration. "Kansas, like every other state, makes identity theft a crime," Schmidt said. "Our laws apply in all settings to all people, citizen and alien alike."

5. California opens state boards to undocumented immigrants and other non-citizens - San Francisco Chronicle
Undocumented immigrants and other non-citizens will be allowed to serve on state boards and commissions after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a package of bills Saturday intended to integrate immigrants further into society.
The issue rose to public attention last year, after the state Senate appointed a woman who had come to the United States from Mexico illegally as a teenager to an advisory committee on college access for low-income and minority students.
A few months later, then-Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed a similar measure, writing that he believed "existing law - which requires citizenship for these forms of public service - is the better path."

6. Pelosi announces House won't vote now on whether to begin impeachment inquiry - FoxNews
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced after meeting with the House Democratic caucus on Tuesday that there will be no vote -- at least for now -- on the launch of formal impeachment proceedings against President Trump.
"There's no requirement that we have a vote, and so at this time we will not be having a vote," Pelosi said. "We're not here to call bluffs -- we're here to find the truth, to uphold the Constitution of the United States. This is not a game for us. This is deadly serious."
The move was seemingly a boon for moderate Democrats in swing districts, who have been reluctant to have a formal vote in favor of the proceedings as the 2020 elections approach -- even as several of them have also sought to appease liberal constituents by vocally backing the ongoing inquiry.

7. Republicans Slam Schiff for Running 'Soviet-Style' Secret Basement Impeachment Hearings - Breitbart
House Democrats on Wednesday continued their closed-door hearings in the Capitol building basement as part of their so-called impeachment inquiry, just a day after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced she would not hold a full House vote to officially launch an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) has barred any members of the Judiciary Committee from attending the closed-door hearings, despite the House Judiciary Committee historically being the main committee dealing with impeachment matters, and despite its chairman, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), first declaring an impeachment inquiry against Trump.
House Freedom Caucus and member of the Judiciary Committee Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said he tried to attend Wednesday morning's hearing with witness Michael McKinley, a career diplomat who recently resigned. "Chairman Schiff and Speaker Pelosi are intentionally running Soviet-style hearings to deprive the American people of representation," he tweeted.

-Father God, we pray for an end to these hearings. And for those who have abused their positions of authority, we ask You to remove them from office.

8. Schiff pressed Volker to say Ukraine felt pressure from Trump - Washington Examiner
In a secret interview, Rep. Adam Schiff, leader of the House Democratic effort to impeach President Trump, pressed former United States special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker to testify that Ukrainian officials felt pressured to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter as a result of Trump withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine.
Volker denied that was the case, noting that Ukrainian leaders did not even know the aid was being withheld and that they believed their relationship with the U.S. was moving along satisfactorily, without them having done anything Trump mentioned in his notorious July 25 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
When Volker repeatedly declined to agree to Schiff's characterization of events, Schiff said, "Ambassador, you're making this much more complicated than it has to be."

9. Judge Rules Obamacare Transgender, Abortion Protections Violate Religious Freedom - Breitbart
A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that Obamacare's special protections for transgender individuals and women who choose to have abortions violate religious freedom.
Judge Reed O'Connor of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, a George W. Bush appointee, overturned the protections by vacating the Obama-era rule that banned health insurers and providers who receive federal taxpayer funds from denying coverage or treatment to any individual based on sex, gender identity, or termination of pregnancy.
The plaintiffs argued the regulations would require physicians to perform procedures that would force them to violate their deeply held faith beliefs. The injunction prohibited the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from enforcing some of Obamacare's requirements as they pertain to persons who claim to be of a gender that is incompatible with their biological sex.

10. US Pension Money Flows Into Blacklisted Chinese Companies - Epoch Times
U.S. investment funds turn a blind eye to human rights records of Chinese technology companies such as Hikvision and Dahua Technology. They are among the entities blacklisted by the U.S. government for their involvement in human rights violations in China.
The Trump administration added 28 Chinese organizations to its "Entity List" on Oct. 7, effectively blocking them from buying U.S. technology. However, this doesn't prevent U.S. investors from buying these companies' shares.
The list includes eight leading artificial intelligence (AI) and video surveillance companies that "have been implicated in human rights violations and abuses in China's campaign targeting Uighurs and other predominantly Muslim ethnic minorities," according to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Many Americans own shares in these companies through their retirement funds or various investment funds. Hence, they unwittingly finance China's human rights abuses, according to China experts.

Welcome to the Impeachment Game show
Come on down for the new game in the nation's capitol-the Impeachment Game--hosted by Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA), produced by Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and sponsored by the Democratic Party. The goal of the game is to remove the President from office using the most outrageous false claim. Contestants are summoned by the Democratic leadership to appear in secret tribunals. The host gathers information to leak to the media, and spins the Wheel of Deception, which lands on the act the sponsor actually did, for which the president will be accused. All television networks will carry the Impeachment Game live every day, all day, until the public demands removal of the President or the ratings crash.
Just to spice things up, the producer of the show rewrote the rules to mimic the Constitution's impeachment process. It is real enough to make the American public think it is the same, but there are some subtle changes. Pelosi modeled the game off of old communist and socialist dictator coups where secret tribunals were established to accuse and convict people of false acts that could be considered high crimes and misdemeanors. The game has a social twist to it, where the audience must discern what is real. The audience is polled daily to decide which false accusation is gaining the most momentum to remove the president.
The game also provides for Defenders of the president. The Defenders must navigate the rules which are controlled by the producer and are written as the game continues to prevent exposing what is discussed in the secret tribunals, of which no Defender is allowed to attend. Defenders of the president are not allowed to call witnesses to expose the deeds the sponsors committed, but are used to accuse the president. Defenders also must navigate public opinion after being labeled continuously as bigots, homophobes, Islamophobes, misogynists, xenophobes, racists, having toxic manhood, benefactors of white privilege, capitalists, Christians, or other slurs the sponsor believes to be derogatory.
Contestants are summoned to testify before the secret tribunal, knowing that everything they say will be twisted when it is leaked to the news media. Contestants choosing not to testify, will be allowed to select consequences, such as going to jail, being fined large sums of money, or simply having their reputations ruined. Another group in the game is Complicit Participants. Complicit Participants are those who watch the Impeachment Game, but do nothing about it. The sponsor believes this group of people will ultimately determine whether the game is successful at removing the president. Hollywood is promoting the Impeachment Game as a blockbuster television hit, sure to demonstrate a social phenomena depicting a new normal for America. The game slogan is from Matthew 24:4: "Take heed that no man deceives you."

Anti-Trump Rep. Schiff's Secret Impeachment Hearings Are a Witch Hunt in a Fantasyland
"Rep. Adam Schiff, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the leftists who are attacking President Trump - and by extension everyone who voted for and supports him - have managed to sink to a new low. On the scale of credibility, they are a minus-10. If they yelled fire, you would stay seated," Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) writes for Fox News.
So far, according to Rep. Biggs, Rep. Schiff or members of his staff have:
- Held impeachment hearings behind closed doors
- Met with the "whistleblower" before a complaint was filed
- Not followed the rules of the House of Representatives
- Excluded some members of the House from sitting in on proceedings
- Now said that the whistleblower will not even be called to testify
You can't make it up: "Schiff excuses his misconduct, claiming Republicans will attempt to manipulate the narrative if his impeachment inquiry hearings were public."

Sound the Shofar, Move the Mountain
October 15, 2019
Shalom Praying Friends,
I present to you a current day situation:
In California where I live there is no rain, drought has decimated the fertile Central Valley. Yet flooding and hurricanes destroy the southeast areas of the U.S. In Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco disease and pestilence is breaking out due to human waste from the homeless tents on the city streets.
In parts of the midwest child trafficking and opioid drug rings are being exposed. Drag Queens are allowed to hold perverted children's story hours in libraries throughout the nation. Chaos has caused battles of division over the illegal border crossing at the U.S, southern borders. People of significant financial means and celebrity are arrested over fraudulent higher education pursuit and are then castigated by everyone they know. Criminal Illegal aliens, not immigrants, which denotes validity and law abiding actions, commit crimes and are released due to sanctuary blindness laws.
Politicians fight daily with words that are profane and lies. The main stream media has gone berserk with the biased game plan of relentless savaging through accusations and lies in the press against the President of the United States. There is no due process. Good is called evil and evil is called good. False prophecies of financial recession are released from the airwaves . . .
In the last two days, a congressional representative was kicked out of an impeachment inquiry hearing where President Trump is being accused of impeachable transgressions yet is not allowed to know the charges, the evidence nor the accuser's identity who also happens to have worked for the opposition party against the president. The representative was seeking information to be made public, but was kicked out of the meeting he crashed.
. . . ABC news and media have apologized for using misleading video info when they rushed out false reports claiming fierce battles between Syrian Kurds and Turkish forces, accusing the President of abandoning the Kurds. Information regarding the withdrawal of 50 U.S Troops from the Turkish/Syrian border is till evolving with a rush to judgement by the world at large and many in the church.
The problem was that the "fierce battle" video released as the actual battle was from a nighttime gun demonstration at the Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Kentucky. Yes there was a physical battle going on in Syria but also a spiritual battle by the prince of the power of the air who was waging it through ABC. When exposed ABC apologized and deleted the false and misleading video. But the damage was done.
So how do we overturn all this corruption, sin, hate. BIG MESSES! There are scriptures in the WORD which are a sound foundation for our prayers. If we stick to the scriptures we have less chance of veering from our own lanes of assignment. I believe when we pray according to the WORD of God with faith and conviction and His will, He answers. Sometimes you may not like His answer, but He knows best! He also created supernatural spirit beings called angels to assist us when the battle seems insurmountable. So let's take care of business!

A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR GOD
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1)
A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR GOD
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1)
Lyrics
A mighty fortress is our God, A bulwark never failing; Our helper He, amid the flood Of mortal ills prevailing: For still our ancient foe Doth seek to work us woe; His craft and power are great, And, armed with cruel hate, On earth is not his equal.
Did we in our own strength confide, Our striving would be losing; Were not the right Man on our side, The Man of God's own choosing: Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He; Lord Sabaoth, His name, From age to age the same, And He must win the battle.
And though this world, with devils filled, Should threaten to undo us, We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us: The Prince of Darkness grim, We tremble not for him; His rage we can endure, For lo, his doom is sure, One little word shall fell him.
That word above all earthly powers, No thanks to them, abideth; The Spirit and the gifts are ours Through Him who with us sideth: Let goods and kindred go, This mortal life also; The body they may kill: God's truth abideth still, His kingdom is forever.
A mighty fortress is our God, A trusty shield and weapon; He helps us free from every need That hath us now overtaken. The old evil foe Now means deadly woe; Deep guile and great might Are his dread arms in fight; On Earth is not his equal.
With might of ours can naught be done, Soon were our loss effected; But for us fights the Valiant One, Whom God Himself elected. Ask ye, who is this? Jesus Christ it is. Of Sabbath Lord, And there's none other God; He holds the field forever.
Though devils all the world should fill, All eager to devour us. We tremble not, we fear no ill, They shall not overpower us. This world's prince may still Scowl fierce as he will, He can harm us none, He's judged; the deed is done; One little word can fell him.
The Word they still shall let remain Nor any thanks have for it; He's by our side upon the plain With His good gifts and Spirit. And take they our life, goods, Fame, child and wife, Let these all be gone, They yet have nothing won; The kingdom ours remaineth.

About the Author:
Words: Martin Luther, 1529
This hymn was sung at the funeral of American president Dwight Eisenhower at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, March 1969.
About the Hymn:
In 1720 a remarkable revival began in a town in Moravia. Jesuits opposed it, and the meetings were prohibited. Those who still assembled were seized and imprisoned in stables and cellars. At David Nitschmann's house, where a hundred and fifty persons gathered, the police broke in and seized the books. Not dismayed, the congregation struck up the stanzas of Luther's hymn:
And though this world, with devils filled, Should threaten to undo us; We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us.
Twenty heads of families were for this sent to jail, including Nitschmann, who was treated with special severity. He finally escaped, fled to the Moravians at Herrnhut, became a bishop, and afterwards joined the Wesleys in 1735 in their expedition to Savannah, Georgia. (Hymntime: Go here)
Signs and Wonders
Top-Level Climate Modeler Exposes 'Nonsense' of 'Global Warming Crisis'
Dr. Mototaka Nakamura, author of the book, Confessions of a Climate Scientist: the Global Warming Hypothesis Is an Unproven Hypothesis, is a top-level oceanographer and meteorologist who is calling "Nonsense!" on the models that underpin the global-warming hoax.
He received his doctorate in meteorology at MIT and worked on cloud dynamics from 1990 to 2014. He says that climate models are useful tools for academic studies, but "the models just become useless pieces of junk or worse when they are used for climate forecasting."
In 2001, the UN's IPCC Report itself conceded, "In climate research and modelling, we should recognize that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible."
Nakamura agrees, and says that the dynamics of the atmosphere and oceans are critical facets of the climate system, and the computer models are too simplistic. Furthermore, most climate researchers do not understand ocean dynamics.
There's a top-level oceanographer and meteorologist who is prepared to cry "Nonsense!"on the "global warming crisis" evident to climate modellers but not in the real world. He's as well or better qualified than the modellers he criticises - the ones whose Year 2100 forebodings of 4degC warming have set the world to spending $US1.5 trillion a year to combat CO2 emissions.
. . . Today's vast panoply of "global warming science" is like an upside down pyramid built on the work of a few score of serious climate modellers. They claim to have demonstrated human-derived CO2 emissions as the cause of recent global warming and project that warming forward. Every orthodox climate researcher takes such output from the modellers' black boxes as a given. (PRINCIPIA SCIENTIFIC INTERNATIONAl) Read more.

The Good News Corner
'Huge Victory' for Doctors Who Didn't Want to Violate Their Own Beliefs with Gender Transition Operations
[CBN News] On Tuesday, a federal court in Texas ruled that doctors are not required to perform gender-transition surgeries if the procedure in question violates their medical judgment or religious beliefs.
Becket Fund for Religious Liberty described the ruling as a "huge victory" for the conscience rights of medical professionals across the nation.
A federal mandate written during the Obama administration had threatened to force religious doctors out of practice if they would not perform gender-transition procedures that would violate medical judgment and beliefs. The US District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled against the mandate striking down the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regulation.
Three years ago, the HHS issued the regulation that would have required every doctor to perform gender-transition procedures on any patient referred by a mental health professional, even if the doctor believed the treatment could harm the patient.
Doctors who refused would have faced severe consequences, including losing their job.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
