What Are We Waiting For?
A Sacred Assembly in Your Prayer Closet or Your Church
April 30th, 2019
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. ~ 2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV)
Dear Christian Warriors:
Are you grieved for our
nation's spiritual health? We've made such a mess only He can begin to fix it.
The Lord is looking for repentance to begin at the grassroots; to you and me. In due season church or government officials will call for such a day but in the meantime, we are His people called by His name. If we humble ourselves, and pray, and seek His face, and TURN, really repent, more than just feeling sorry--- from our wicked ways, THEN He will hear from heaven, forgive sin, and heal our lands. (2 Chronicles 7:14).

In due season church or government officials will call for such a day but in the meantime, we are His people called by His name. Can you set aside 60 to 90
minutes on the 30th of April? For the eighth year in a row NDR is calling for a
National Day of Repentance. Join thousands not just in the USA but in other
nations who will join us in repenting.
According to 2 Chronicles 7:14
and 15, when you or I, anyone in the Body of Christ, His Bride, repents, the
LORD promises that He will "heal our land."

my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek
my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I
will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed
His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also,
because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of
a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that
fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in
our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes
those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of
intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the
powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
