1. Israel Unveils Rafael's New Advanced Bunker Buster Missile, 'Rocks' - Jerusalem Post
With tensions still high between Israel and Iran a new air-to-surface long-range missile designed to destroy targets deep underground in heavily defended areas has been developed by Israeli defense giant Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
Dubbed "Rocks," the innovative missile is being presented this week for the first time at the Aero India Air Show in Bangalore, India.
Earlier in February, a senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander threatened to "raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground" if the United States attacked the Islamic Republic.

2. Israel Attacks Hamas Following Airborne Firebomb From Gaza - HAARETZ
The Israeli military attacked a Hamas outpost Wednesday in response to the first airborne firebomb fired from the Gaza Strip since November.
According to the military statement, the attack was done from the air. Palestinian military reported that the attack was east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp.
A balloon-borne incendiary device sent from Gaza started a fire Tuesday in the Kissufim Forest near the Gaza border. The fire was fairly small and was put out quickly. The incendiary balloon comes a few days after Hamas approved a renewal of these attacks in light of stalled talks on lifting the closure of the Gaza Strip.

3. Day 2 of Temple Mount Violence in Jerusalem - Jewish Press
For the second time in less than 48 hours, Muslim worshipers clashed with Jerusalem Police Tuesday on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. This time, a number of rioters were injured in the violence.
The rioters were trying to force their way through the Golden Gate - also known as the Gate of Mercy - into the small compound known as the Bab-a-Rahem, which has been sealed by court order since 2017, and prior to that was closed in 2003 by Jerusalem Police.

4. IDF arrests 17 Palestinians, clash with rioters in West Bank raids - Jerusalem Post
The IDF arrested 17 Palestinian suspects during multiple raids in West Bank towns early Wednesday morning and clamped down rioters in Nablus and in the Al-Aroub refugee camp, who lightly injured a soldier, according to the army.
The soldiers entered Al-Aroub - which is located between Bethlehem and Hebron - in a counter-terrorist operation to prevent attacks on Israeli vehicles traveling on Route 60 in the West Bank.
Palestinians threw stones, including cinder blocks, at the soldiers and IDF vehicles in Al-Aroub. One soldier was lightly injured.
The IDF used riot dispersal means and live fire, in accordance with the open-fire regulations, the IDF said.

5. Jewish Home party votes overwhelmingly to merge with extremist Otzma Yehudit - Times of Israel
The Jewish Home central committee votes overwhelmingly to adopt a merger deal with the extremist Otzma Yehudit faction.
The 250 or so members of the internal body also give their blessing to continue negotiations with Yachad chairman Eli Yishai to join the Jewish Home's Knesset slate in the upcoming elections.
Earlier, the Likud party announced it would reserve the 28th spot on its parliamentary list for the Jewish Home party and grant it two Cabinet ministries in a future government if it merged with Otzma Yehudit.

1. Supreme Court curbs power of government to impose heavy fines and seize property - Fox News
In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled to drastically curb the powers that states and cities have to levy fines and seize property, marking the first time the court has applied the Constitution's ban on excessive fines at the state level.
"Protection against excessive fines has been a constant shield throughout Anglo-American history for good reason: Such fines undermine other liberties," Ginsburg wrote. "They can be used, e.g., to retaliate against or chill the speech of political enemies. They can also be employed, not in service of penal purposes, but as a source of revenue."
While the ruling was unanimous, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a separate opinion outlining different reasons for reaching the same conclusion -- namely, that "the right to be free from excessive fines is one of the 'privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States' protected by the Fourteenth Amendment." Ginsburg's opinion was based on the due process clause of the same amendment. (Read more)

2. Trump Takes Back $1 Billion from California; Gavin Newsom Complains: 'Political Retribution' - Breitbart
The Trump administration announced Tuesday that it was canceling a federal grant to California worth nearly $1 billion after Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the cancellation of the state's high-speed rail project last week.
The Federal Railroad Administration listed several factors informing its decision, including the likelihood that the high-speed rail would not be completed by 2022, as contemplated by the original agreement. The state's high-speed rail authority had also failed, according to the FRA, to provide "timely and satisfactory financial reports" to the federal government. The Los Angeles Times reported additionally that the Department of Transportation said it was "actively exploring every legal option" to recover the other $2.5 billion granted by the federal government to California for the project. Newsom complained angrily that Trump was carrying out "political retribution" for California's legal challenge Monday to his emergency declaration to build a barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border. 3. Congressmen Call for U.S. Designation of Mexican Cartels as Terror Orgs - Los Zetas, Gulf in Crosshairs - Breitbart
U.S. Representatives Chip Roy (R-TX) and Dr. Mark Green (R-TN) drafted a letter that will be sent to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting specific Mexican cartel factions be designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs). The letter follows years of coverage by Breitbart News and calls from Border/Cartel Chronicles Director Brandon Darby for these specific cartel factions to be added to the terror list.
"Cartels are the problem and it is time we started acting like it. These cartels undermine our national security with a relentless attack on our border while trafficking in human beings and dangerous narcotics," Rep. Roy said in a written statement. "Cartels are endangering American citizens, our Mexican neighbors, and the migrants who seek to come here. I am proud to join my friend Rep. Mark Green to urge the State Department to consider designating them as a Foreign Terror Organization."
Given these harrowing circumstances, law enforcement needs to have every tool at their disposal to dismantle drug cartels. Labeling cartels that utilize terrorism as FTOs would make it unlawful for any person who knowingly provides "material support or resources" to the cartel to enter the United States, prevent any member of a designated drug cartel from legally entering the United States, and allow the Secretary of the Treasury to block all assets possessed or controlled by the drug cartels. 4. ICE Busts Millionaire Obama Donors - FrontpageMag
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) this week arrested two millionaire fugitives from Ecuador whose family donated heavily to American political campaigns. Roberto and William IsaÃas, 74 and 75, were detained Wednesday in Miami and taken to a detention facility for undocumented immigrants awaiting deportation, The New York Times reported Friday.
The IsaÃas brothers were convicted in 2012 of embezzlement by an Ecuadorean court and sentenced to prison terms in absentia, since they had been living in South Florida for nearly a decade. The brothers have denied any wrongdoing, claiming the Ecuadorean government politicized the case and wrongfully seized their assets, the Times reported.
The Ecuadorean government alleges that the brothers cost the country $400 million and has sought their extradition for years. As Ecuador sought the duo's extradition, the IsaÃas family reportedly donated tens of thousands of dollars to members of the U.S. Congress and $90,000 to former President Obama's reelection campaign. 5. Justice Department preparing for Mueller report as early as next week - CNN
Attorney General Bill Barr is preparing to announce as early as next week the completion of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, with plans for Barr to submit to Congress soon after a summary of Mueller's confidential report, according to people familiar with the plans. The preparations are the clearest indication yet that Mueller is nearly done with his almost two-year investigation.
The scope and contours of what Barr will send to Congress remain unclear. Also unclear is how long it will take Justice officials to prepare what will be submitted to lawmakers. The Justice Department and the special counsel's office declined to comment.
Barr has said that he wants to be as "transparent" as possible with Congress and the public, "consistent with the rules and the law." The regulations require Mueller to explain in his report all decisions to prosecute or not prosecute matters under scrutiny. Barr would also need to inform Congress if the Justice Department prevented the special counsel team from pursuing any investigative steps. (Read more)

6. Trump Names Successor to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein - Epoch Times
President Donald Trump intends to nominate Jeffrey Rosen to succeed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, according to the White House. Rosenstein is expected to step down by mid-March, a Justice Department official said on Feb. 19. Rosen's nomination must be confirmed by the Senate.
Rosen currently serves as the deputy secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOT). Prior to that, he supervised more than 400 attorneys as the general counsel at the DOT, and served as general counsel and senior policy adviser at the White House Office of Management and Budget.
Rosen was nominated to be a federal judge by Republican President George W. Bush in 2008 but didn't get a confirmation vote in the Senate, which was under Democratic control at the time. He was rated "well qualified" by the nonpartisan American Bar Association. Thomas Yannucci, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis who has known Rosen since 1982, described him as an able legal administrator who will be committed to ensuring the independence of the Justice Department. 7. New Emails Confirm FBI Tried To Work Deal With State Dept To Minimize Hillary Email Scandal - Daily Wire
Newly released FBI emails obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request confirm that James Comey's FBI attempted to work out a quid pro quo deal with the Obama State Department to help minimize the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal just weeks before the 2016 election.
Fox News's Catherine Herridge and Pamela K. Browne first reported on the alleged deal back on October 15, 2016, but full confirmation did not come until this week when the government transparency watchdog group Judicial Watch released FBI communication related to the deal. On Monday, Fox News' Gregg Re reported that over two years later, the allegation that the FBI and State Department floated a "quid pro quo" deal has now been confirmed, and it originated with the FBI:
The trove of documents turned over by the FBI included discussions by former FBI lawyer Lisa Page concerning a potential quid pro quo between the State Department and the FBI -- in which the FBI would agree to effectively hide the fact that a Clinton email was classified in exchange for more legal attache positions that would benefit the FBI abroad, and allow them to send more agents to countries where the FBI's access is ordinarily restricted. 8. #RedforEd: Socialists Organizing Teachers to Turn Purple States Blue by 2020 - Breitbart
A well-funded and subversive leftist movement of teachers in the United States threatens to tilt the political balance nationwide in the direction of Democrats across the country as Republicans barely hang on in key states that they need to hold for President Donald Trump to win re-election and for Republicans to have a shot at retaking the House and holding onto their Senate majority.
This teachers union effort, called #RedforEd, has its roots in the very same socialism that President Trump vowed in his 2019 State of the Union address to stop, and it began in its current form in early 2018 in a far-flung corner of the country before spreading nationally. Its stated goals-higher teacher pay and better education conditions-are overshadowed by a more malevolent political agenda: a leftist Democrat uprising designed to flip purple or red states to blue, using the might of a significant part of the education system as its lever.

9. Parkland Student Activist, Father of Victim Reflect on Year Fighting for School Safety - Daily Signal
One year after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, that left 17 students and staff dead, Kyle Kashuv and Andrew Pollack have emerged as two of the most prominent and outspoken critics of Broward County officials and defenders of the Second Amendment. Pollack, who lost his daughter Meadow, 18, in the massacre on Feb. 14, 2018, founded the grassroots organization Americans for CLASS (Children's Lives and School Safety) and refers to his movement online with the hashtag #FixIt.
"I'm always working. I never stop. Right now, I'm working on making sure that the school board and superintendent are held accountable for their actions. I'm here, ready to help the new sheriff and governor with whatever they need. Just fighting day in and day out for accountability. That's my life now-accountability."
"We've been in a war this past year against Broward's corrupt elected officials," he told The Daily Signal. "They failed to stop the shooter, failed to confront the shooter, and are now failing to work for the community. Everything is a cover-up, and the media got the story dreadfully wrong." (Read more)

10. Putin warns: Russia will target US with new weapons if it deploys missiles to Europe - Fox News
Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking during his state-of-the-nation address Wednesday, warned that Russia will aim new hypersonic missiles at the U.S. should it deploy new intermediate-range missiles in Europe. Putin reaffirmed that Russia will not be the first to deploy new intermediate-range missiles in Europe, but warned that it will retaliate if the U.S. puts such missiles on the continent. He said it will not only target the host countries but field new weapons that will target U.S. decision-making centers.
He insisted that Moscow hopes to patch up its difference with the U.S., saying: "We don't want confrontation, particularly with such a global power as the U.S." But he also criticized what he described as the "destructive" U.S. policy of targeting Russia with sanctions.
Putin also focused on a range of social issues in the annual speech, promising to raise welfare payments, improve education and healthcare, as well as remove toxic dump sites from cities. He also said Russia needs to modernize its infrastructure, claiming 60 airports will be upgraded in the next six years. (Read more)

The Story Behind the Song:
How We Discovered "The Kingdom Warriors' Marching Song"
(A Lesson in "Walking by Faith!")
Part One:
About three weeks ago, I began to hear a melody in my Spirit, that kept repeating itself over and over again. It sounded familiar, but I could not recall the words to that song. I then asked several friends if they could identify the song, but they could not.
This began on a Friday morning. The melody remained with me all day Saturday, and by now it was getting to be a bit irritating - especially as I could not "find" its words!
When I woke up on Sunday morning, it was still there, on my mind, still over and over and over again!
"OK," I thought,"I've had it!" I decided to call a fellow prayer warrior so that, together, we could bind the harassing spirit from me, and I would be free to hear other praise songs through the day.
Just as I was going to pick up my cell phone to make this call, the Lord said "STOP!"
I thought, "what?"
And the Lord said: "I am trying to give you the words to this song! Ask Me and I will give you the lyrics!"
OK, so I was somewhat stunned, as worship has never been a part of my resume, but I put the phone down and tried to calm myself . . . then I asked our Lord for His words for the melody.
They came quickly; the tune was very short; and the job was done.
Here is what our Lord gave me to sing:

Part Two:
So, on Tuesday, Feb. 12th, the Lord again nudged me -- this time to share my song (without the music) with all of you out there on the Daily Brief! (This took courage!) Under the heading, "Sneak Preview," this is what I wrote:
This past weekend, God did something very unusual in my life: He put a new song in my heart!
This is a "marching song" for prayer warriors in this hour, with a real military cadence to its melody. It goes:
WE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE OUR LAND!
AND FOR OUR LORD WE WILL TAKE OUR STAND!
THROUGH HIS BLOOD WE FIGHT EVERY RAGING FOE
SPEAKING FORGIVENESS AS THE WAY TO GO!
AND FOR OUR LORD WE WILL TAKE OUR STAND!
THROUGH HIS BLOOD WE FIGHT EVERY RAGING FOE
SPEAKING FORGIVENESS AS THE WAY TO GO!
I have shared this inspiring "marching song" with several others already, and they all want me to record it and post it on You Tube. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do that, yet -- but I believe that soon this will happen, too.
In the meantime, they have also encouraged me to go ahead and post the words to this song, now, so you can all grasp what Abba is saying to us in this critical hour in our nation's history.
I then gave this back to our Lord, trusting Him to nudge someone else who could put these words to music.
Part Three:
You know what? Walking by faith really pays off!
A wonderful brother, Richard Hilleman, stepped forward in response to my request, and offered his services to help me publish the music to go with the words. Praise the Lord!
(Richard and I have a mutual friend within our CHPP network, so I knew I was probably in good hands.)
Richard told me that he does this professionally and would like to help me finish this job. And so, yes, he was "hired!" (Pro bono, of course)
Part Four:
Well, about a week later, when Richard had finished his work and sent me the audio clip, I was, once again, stunned. IT WAS PERFECT!
Set to a military cadence, you can truly hear the sounds of the marching feet of God's soldiers!
And so now, I have the joy of sharing this song with you today. Oh, and I also then asked our Lord for the name of His song, and He said to call this "The Kingdom Warriors' Marching Song."

Part Five: Richard's story
Here are a couple of things that were a part of this project:
- The marching steps at the end were not downloaded. I got every pair of shoes that I had and recorded myself marching and added them all up together. I even got my brother's friend, who was visiting next door, to come in and I recorded him too - he never saw that coming. But, the end result sounds good!
- As always, I didn't know how to do the project so I asked the Holy Spirit to show me. He showed me how to start the project one day. Then He showed me more the next day, etcetera, until it was done.

Spacecraft Named for "Genesis" Will Carry a Bible
(Israel)-[Israel Today] Israel is making history. In just a few days, an Israeli spacecraft will take off for the moon. Named Beresheet (Genesis), it took nearly eight years of hard work by SpaceIL and Israel Aerospace Industries to finally reach this exciting launch event.

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."
