"Praying for All in Authority"

"Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!" (Mark 11:9)

Today we say Happy Birthday to:

Justice Samuel Anthony Alito, Jr.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision . . . (Joel 3:14)

The Daily Brief

1. Iran nuclear talks miss deadline; Russia says 'key aspects' agreed - Yahoo News/Canada

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (Reuters) - Six world powers and Iran missed a Tuesday deadline to reach an outline accord reining in Tehran's nuclear program, extending talks into an extra day as they edged towards a deal but failed to agree on crucial details such as the lifting of U.N. sanctions.

With Iran asserting its "nuclear rights" and the United States threatening on Tuesday to abandon the negotiations, the talks have been bogged down on the issues of nuclear research, the lifting of U.N. sanctions and their restoration if Iran breaches the agreement.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said negotiators had reached a general accord on "all key aspects", according to Russia's TASS news agency, while his Iranian counterpart said a draft agreement could be prepared on Wednesday. (Read more)

- Lord God, we now wait to learn the details of this deal. We place our trust only in You, as the nations continue to fail Your people and to turn their backs upon Israel. We ask for Your strength to be with us in the days ahead, as we witness the schemes of evil leaders unfold before us. Thank You, Father, for Your loving care upon each one of us. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)

2. Iran militia chief: Destroying Israel is 'nonnegotiable' - Times of Israel

The commander of the Basij militia of Iran's Revolutionary Guards said that "erasing Israel off the map" is "nonnegotiable," according to an Israel Radio report Tuesday. Militia chief Mohammad Reza Naqdi also threatened Saudi Arabia, saying that the offensive it is leading in Yemen "will have a fate like the fate of Saddam Hussein." (Read more)

- Lord God, it is now clear where Iran stands, so it is up to us -- the nation of the United States of America and an avowed ally of Israel -- to reject this rhetoric and this deal. We, Lord, are responsible. Forgive us, Lord (or our leaders) for even thinking to "negotiate" a deal with a nation that is so evil. We stand in the gap for America, and we ask for Your mercy to be upon us, in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "Jesus wept." (John 11:35)

3. Experts: Iran Housing Nuke Materials in North Korea, Syria - Washington Free Beacon

LAUSANNE, Switzerland - A top State Department official on Monday dismissed reports that Iran may be hiding key nuclear-related assets in North Korea and implied that she was unaware of the possibility, despite the publication this weekend of several articles by top analysts expressing alarm at the extent of nuclear cooperation between Tehran and Pyongyang.

Marie Harf, a spokeswoman for the State Department, dismissed as "bizarre" the reports, which described the transfer of enriched uranium and ballistic missile technology back and forth between the two rogue regimes.

The existence of an illicit Iranian nuclear infrastructure outside of the Islamic Republic's borders would gut a nuclear deal that the administration has vowed to advance by Tuesday, according to these experts and others. (Read more)

- Father God, we ask that all hidden things be revealed about these rumors. We ask that our leaders seek Your wisdom in dealing with both Iran and North Korea -- two of our enemies and each with a nuclear stockpile. Help us, Lord, we pray, amen and amen.

- "Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them." (Proverbs 4:5)

4. ISIS E-Book Teaches Western Jihadis How to Organize Sleeper Cells - Breitbart

The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) has released a new e-book, "How to Survive in the West: A Mujahid Guide (2015)," specifically for sleeper cells within the United States. It offers points to evade arrest and live under the radar.

The book is written in English but does not name the author. Though it does not appear to be readily available online at press time, The Tampa Tribune managed to snag a copy over the weekend and provided a full report.

"In this book, you will be taught these skills," stated the introduction, continuing:

You will be taught how to lead a double-life, how to keep your Secret life private, how to survive in a threatening land, how you can Arm and strengthen the Muslims when the time for Jihad comes to your country, and neighborhood. In simple terms, from this guide book-you will learn how to be a Sleeper-cell which activates at the right time when the Ummah needs you. (Read more) [Recommended!]

- Lord God, because this evil training manual is only available online and not in actual print, we turn to You, dear God, for help. We ask that You dispatch Your heavenly host to do warfare in cyberspace, causing this network to crash and blocking the release of this ebook. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

- "Nothing is too difficult for thee!" (Jeremiah 32:17)

5. Civilian deaths mount as Yemen falls apart - CBS News

SANAA, Yemen -- Yemeni civilians shuddered in fear and bristled with anger under an intense Saudi-led bombing campaign against Shiite rebels on Tuesday, day six of fighting that prompted international aid organizations to express alarm over high civilian casualties from the strikes and violence roiling the country.

Officials from all sides said strikes hit the city's so-called "security belt" of army camps surrounding the capital, some of which stored ballistic missiles. Those camps are held by Shiite rebels, known as Houthis, or their allies, military units loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. (Read more)

- Father, the situation in Sanaa, Yemen is dire. The Sunni Saudi war against the Iranian-backed Houthis Shi'ite rebels has caught civilians in the middle. Once again the Sunnis and Shi'ites are fighting each other in a different part of the Middle East. Lord, there will be no peace until these people come to know the one true God, Jehovah and our Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that the one true God will show up in their dreams and visions. In His Name we pray, Amen.

- "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3)

6. Iranian aircraft buzzed Navy helicopter in Persian Gulf - CNN

An Iranian military observation aircraft flew within 50 yards of an armed U.S. Navy helicopter over the Persian Gulf this month, sparking concern that top Iranian commanders might not be in full control of local forces, CNN has learned.

The incident, which has not been publicly disclosed, troubled U.S. military officials because the unsafe maneuver could have triggered a serious incident. It also surprised U.S. commanders because in recent months Iranian forces have conducted exercises and operations in the region in a professional manner, one U.S. military official told CNN. (Read more)

- Abba Father, negotiating with Iranians is like negotiating with a chameleon! In Switzerland, we negotiate against nuclear weapons; while in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and Gaza, Iran arms Shi'ite rebels; and we side with Saudi Arabia. "Tehran makes a deal, makes war and makes common cause with the United States - depending on the location." Lord forgive us for trying to make deals with an evil regime. In His Name we pray, Amen.

- "One who plans to do evil, Men will call a schemer." (Proverbs 28:4)

7. Washington gov, Seattle mayor ban official travel to Indiana in wake of 'religious freedom' law - Fox News

The backlash to Indiana's new religious freedom law grew Monday, even as state lawmakers move to clarify the legislation, with Wash. Gov. Jay Inslee and Seattle Mayor Ed Murray banning government-funded travel to Indiana.

The statements are the latest boycott threats to emerge over claims that the law has the potential to discriminate against gays and others.

Murray, a Democrat who is openly gay, issued his ban via executive order over the weekend, and Inslee issued his Monday afternoon. "I find Indiana's new law disturbing, particularly at a time when more and more states and people in America are embracing civil rights for everyone," Inslee said in a statement. "Washington will join other states and cities in opposing this law and I will impose an administration-wide ban on state-funded travel to Indiana." (Read more)

- Father there are none more intolerant than liberals/progressives/the left. It's their way or no way. Father, we repent that we have allowed the gay agenda to have such a loud obnoxious voice in our country. We pray that You bless and protect Governor Mike Pence and the people of Indiana. In His Name we pray, Amen.

- Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood and the city is full of perversion; for they say, 'The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see!' (Ezekiel 9:9)

8. Arkansas passes 'religious freedom' bill similar to new Indiana law - Fox News

Arkansas lawmakers on Tuesday approved a religious-freedom bill similar to the one recently passed in Indiana that critics say creates the potential for businesses and others to legally discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation.

The state's Republican-led House gave final approval to the bill, which prohibits the state and local governments from infringing on a person's religious beliefs without a "compelling" interest. The measure now goes to Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who has said he will sign it into law.

Doug McMillon, the CEO of Arkansas-based Wal-Mart, issued a statement Tuesday pressing Hutchinson to "veto this legislation," and adding that the law would "undermine the spirit of inclusion" in the state. "[It] does not reflect the values we proudly uphold," McMillon's statement read. (Read more)

- Father God, we rejoice at this news, but we weep for the "captains of industry" in our nation that have been hypnotized by the mantra of "tolerance" that belies the values America was founded upon. Scripture is clear; perversion is sin; and anyone who opens the door to this "compromise" will, in the end, pay the price. Thank You, Lord, for the State of Arkansas. In Jesus' name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12)

9. Obama plans first presidential trip to Kenya, father's homeland - AFP

Barack Obama will make a long-awaited return to Kenya this July, visiting his father's homeland for the first time since becoming US president, the White House announced Monday. During the much-delayed visit, Obama will attend a summit to encourage entrepreneurship and meet the country's controversial leader Uhuru Kenyatta.

Obama's late father was from a small village near the shores of Lake Victoria. He met Obama's white American mother in Hawaii, where they had a son before divorcing.

The White House hopes that a visit will also do more to cement ties between the United States and the African continent, which has received billions in Chinese investment in recent decades. (Read more)

- Abba Father, If this trip is Your will, then may You use it for Your glory to forward the Kingdom of God. If it is not Your will, then may the plans come to naught. In His Name we pray. Amen

- "The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps." (Proverbs 16:19)

10. Pastor Cruz: 'We Are on the Brink of The Destruction of This Country' - CNSNews.com

Evangelical Pastor Rafael Cruz, the father of Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), said the Obama administration is "the most lawless administration" in U.S. history, where "the Constitution is trampled every day," and further declared, "we are on the brink of the destruction" of America.

"We have the most lawless administration we have ever had, where the rule of law, the Constitution is trampled every day," said Pastor Cruz, who leads Purifying Fire Ministries, based near Dallas, Texas. "The separation of powers is trampled on a daily basis. We have judges legislating from the bench." "And we have a president who says he has a pen and a phone and totally disregards the rule of law, and is governing by decree, by executive action, basically like an emperor more than a president," said the pastor. (Read more)

- Abba Father, Pastor Rafael Cruz speaks the truth about America today under this present administration. May he continue to be a clarion voice in our nation shouting the truth. In His Name we pray, Amen.

- "Only fear the LORD and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you." (I Samuel 12:24)

The video shows a masked figure in a suit and tie delivering a prepared statement, warning that the group will eradicate Israel from cyberspace "for... crimes in the Palestinian territories".

"We will erase you from cyberspace in our electronic Holocaust," says the video's masked figure. "As we did many times, we will take down your servers, government websites, Israeli military websites, and Israeli institutions."

4. Khaled Mashaal says Israeli election results will boost extremism - Jerusalem Post

The outcome of the March 17 elections in Israel will decrease the chances for lasting peace, Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal told the BBC on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's re-election is bound to spike extremism, the head of Hamas' political bureau, who currently resides in Qatar, said.

He also promised that while Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, is not seeking any escalation, it will defend itself.

6. PM Pans World Silence over Iran General's Call to Destroy Israel - Israel National News

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded Wednesday to yesterday's statement by a senior Iranian military official that Israel should be "wiped of the map", once again criticizing international powers for softening their stance on Iran's nuclear program while Tehran simultaneously pursues an ever more aggressive foreign policy.

"Yesterday an Iranian general brazenly declared and I quote: 'Israel's destruction is non-negotiable', but evidently giving Iran's murderous regime a clear path to the bomb is negotiable," Netanyahu said of the comments by the Commander of Iran's Basij (volunteer) Force, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi.

"This is unconscionable," Netanyahu declared.

"I agree with those who have said that Iran's claim that its nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes doesn't square with Iran's insistence on keeping underground nuclear facilities, advanced centrifuges and a heavy water reactor," he added. "Nor does it square with Iran's insistence on developing ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles) and its refusal to come clean with the IAEA on its past weaponization efforts."

Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh called on Palestinian factions, including the Palestinian Authority, to unite and wage war on Israel with an intifada and armed resistance in the West Bank, Israel's NRG reported on Tuesday.

Haniyeh also addressed the results of Israel's elections earlier this month, saying that the "re-election of Netanyahu and the reinforcement of the Likud Party have revealed the true face of the occupation." He then stressed the need to move on to a real strategy of Palestinian unity against the "occupation."

(JNS.org) The Lebanese terror group Hezbollah could fire between 1,000 and 1,500 rockets per day in its next full-scale conflict against Israel, according to the latest estimates from the Israeli Home Front Command.

The estimate is part of updated information provided by the Home Front Command in order to assist local authorities to prepare them for a war.

"The scenario we are looking at is not a prediction of what will be. It spells out what we are building up our capabilities against. We believe we can stand up to the challenge," a source from the Home Front Command said, the Jerusalem Post reported.

9. US threatens to 'walk away' from Iran talks as deadline extended - Times of Israel

Top P5+1 diplomats worked past a midnight deadline into the early hours of Wednesday seeking to agree on the outlines of a nuclear deal with Iran, while the US threatened to "walk away" from negotiations if an accord could not be reached.

As the world powers were negotiating on a sixth day of talks in Switzerland aimed at laying the groundwork for a deal that they hope will prevent Iran developing nuclear weapons under the guise of its civilian program, the White House indicated that should a deal for a political framework not be reached, the US would leave the talks ahead of the final deadline in late June.

Christianity under attack

Whether it is "hands up, don't shoot," Bowe Bergdhal served with "honor and distinction," or the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, it seems that the American people are all too willing to listen to the hysteria of a biased news media and special interest groups rather than check out the facts. Property has been lost, lives ended, and reputations harmed because an ill-informed public allows lies and misinformation to lead them by the nose to the slaughter house. "Who cares," they might say, "It doesn't affect me." There is one issue, however, where if we as Christians don't start standing strong and speaking boldly as we ought to speak, it will impact generations. Our religious freedom is under attack.

When the Founding Fathers of America wrote the Constitution, there was one God in mind--the God of the Jews and Christians. This is what they meant in guaranteeing religious freedom. Much has been written in their own words about Christianity; about being from many walks of life, but generally having the same religion; that God granted us a nation and that it was our duty to elect Christians to serve wisely. Our Republic was modeled after Exodus 18:21, "Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be be rules of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens."

In fact, Islam at that time, was considered a strange and evil cult. John Quincy Adams wrote: "In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth." Thomas Jefferson had to commission a US Navy to fight the Ottoman Empire-sanctioned pirating of US ships and the enslavement of US citizens by the Islamic Barbary pirates. Yet the current "president" infers Islam's influence on early America was a positive one.

Your religious freedom, the very keystone of your rights as an American, are under vicious attack. An Islamic Marxist "president," his administration, the news media, the homosexual lobby, the abortion lobby, the Islamists are all pointing the spear at your religious freedom because they know that faith in the one true God is the only bulwark that stands between liberty and their statist goals. No one checks the facts, but it is always assumed the Christian or Jew is at fault. Christianity is not about what God can do for you, it is what we are supposed to be doing for God. When so many are wringing their hands and asking what to do, God has already told us--make disciples, overcome evil with good, speak boldly of the gospel, having done all, stand. Don't wait for a leader. The leader is Jesus Christ and he dwells in you. Let's go!

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

An Overview of the RFRA

Background: The Federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA)

- In 1993, the federal RFRA passed the House by unanimous consent and passed the Senate by a vote of 97 to 3.

- It was signed into law by President Clinton.

- RFRA codifies a common-sense balancing test for when the government restricts the exercise of religious beliefs: The government may substantially burden a religious belief only if it can prove that the burden 1) serves a compelling government interest and 2) was accomplished by the least restrictive means.

In the last few years, RFRA and its sister statute, Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) have been used to protect:

- A Muslim prisoner who was denied an exception to grow a half inch beard for religious reasons, even though similar exemptions were granted for medical reasons. The Supreme Court upheld the prisoner's rights in a unanimous decision. Holt v. Hobbs.

- A Sikh employee at the IRS who was denied admission to a federal building because she wore a kirpan, even though the building allowed scissors, knives, box cutters, and other sharp objects.

- A Native American man and member of the Lipan Apache tribe in Texas after the federal government seized his tribe's sacred eagle feathers. The government continues to pursue criminal and civil penalties for possession of the feathers, even though the government has granted permits to others for the possession of eagle feathers.

A Statement by FRC

FRC Applauds Arkansas Legislature for Overwhelmingly Approving the Religious Freedom Restoration Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, the Arkansas House of Representatives by a vote of 67 to 21 gave final approval to the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). Family Research Council (FRC) has long supported state RFRAs, which have already been enacted in 20 states since 1996 based on the federal law signed by President Bill Clinton.

FRC President Tony Perkins released the following statement:

"Family Research Council applauds the Arkansas legislature for voting to join 20 other states in aligning themselves with federal religious freedom law. Courageously ignoring the rants of the intolerant left against this legislation, Arkansas's Governor and legislators are standing up for the freedom of people to live out their beliefs.

"If there were not a growing hostility toward faith, there wouldn't be a need for RFRAs. As Americans, we have a proud tradition of respecting each other's differences. But, under the policies and influence of the Obama administration, religious intolerance has grown significantly.

"Americans of all political persuasions and all religions who care about the freedom to live according to one's beliefs --without government coercion -- should support RFRAs," concluded Perkins.

Josh Duggar, FRC Action's Executive Director, added the following comments:
"I applaud the 67 members of the Arkansas House of Representatives who voted today to pass H.B. 1228, The Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This bill is simple and to the point - that people cannot be easily trampled by the government simply for living out their religious beliefs. We are thrilled that Gov. Hutchinson has indicated that he will sign this bill affirming that religious freedom is alive and well in Arkansas."

'Dangerous' Religious Freedom

'Dangerous' Religious Freedom

Indiana passed a Religious Freedom Restoration Act -- and then the political firestorm began.

People who've relied on mainstream media outlets to learn about the law have been presented a deliberately misleading picture of what it is. Everything from the headlines, to the images, to the questions asked have been designed to create a false impression.

What does the law actually do? Why is it necessary? Why is it getting such a flood of opposition? CitizenLink President Tom Minnery answers those questions and more in the CitizenLink Report.

Pray for Passage of H.R. 1649

H.R. 1649:

Partnering with Israel to Detect and Defeat Terrorist Tunnels

Congressman Doug Lamborn has introduced H.R. 1649, The Partnering to Detect and Defeat Tunnels Act. This legislation is designed to bring high-level leadership and resources to address a problem facing America and Israel.

"We must be able to defend against illicit tunnels, whether on our southern border today or against terrorist attacks in the future. The terrorist group Hamas used tunnels against Israel to devastating effect; we have already seen rebels using tunnels against the Syrian regime. Sadly we know that terrorists are quick to learn, so it is likely only a matter of time before we see a terrorist group attack a U.S. or allied facility with tunnels. Detecting and defeating tunnels is not an easy task. That's why the government has already established an interagency tunnel working group and I am hopeful that my bill will aid in their efforts to protect ourselves and our allies."
- Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05)
What this bill does

1. Directs the Secretary of Defense to enter into a partnership agreement with Israel to develop technology to detect and counter tunnels.

2. Allows the Secretary of Defense to enter into similar partnerships with other allied countries.

3. Requires the designation of a lead federal agency for the development of tunnel detection technology.

4. Requires the designation of a lead intelligence officer for tactical tunnels.

5. Requires an annual report to Congress on tunnel threat proliferation.

6. Doubles current funding for existing U.S. government tunnel detection efforts (the Army Corps of Engineers and the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office)

NPC Offers Prayer Guidelines for Supreme Court Case

Supreme Court to Hear "Gay Marriage" Case on April 28th.

National Prayer Committee Offers Guidelines for Prayer

Prayer for Supreme Court Marriage Decision

The eyes of many in the Church are watching closely an anticipated ruling in June by the Supreme Court of the United States regarding same-sex marriage. Many believe that this battle for the family and a traditional biblical view of marriage is already over. From a worldly perspective, that may be true. But we are a people of faith who put our trust in the Lord, not in courts, or presidents, or public opinion. The Word of God is filled with examples of God responding to the prayers of His people in miraculous ways that surprise a watching world. May He do it again as we humbly come before Him in prayer. We encourage you to pray though these points and scriptures regularly.

Here are some ways we might pray:

1.Thank the Lord for the gift of family. Express your gratitude that family is God's by design and not human invention.

2. Ask for forgiveness on behalf of the Church for failing to model godly families before our society. We bear much blame for the deterioration of marriage and the family. (1 Timothy 5:8)

3. Pray for help to live out God's intent for the family. May our homes become outposts for God's kingdom. (Acts 10:2)

4. Confess our sins of responding to those caught up in a homosexual lifestyle with anger or hatred. Ask for help to love as Christ loves. (John 8:11)

5. Pray that the Lord would show us in practical ways how to speak the truth in love according to His Word. (Ephesians 4:15)

6. Ask God to pour out His wisdom on His people that we might see clearly the attack of the enemy on His design for marriage. May God's wisdom give us insight into the results of tearing down traditional one man-one woman marriage. (James 1:5)

7. Plead with the Lord for divine intervention upon the Supreme Court. Pray that He would give wisdom and courage to these jurists to respond in righteousness. (Job 21:22; Job 9:24; Isaiah 1:26)

A Model Prayer

Father, we are grateful to be able to call You that. To know that through Jesus, we have been brought into Your family. Thank You that our earthly families, as imperfect as they are, are a reflection of the eternal family for which You are our forever Father. Forgive us Lord, for not being better pictures of what the family is intended to be. Help us Lord to live out our lives in families with godliness, love, purity, and truth.

This broken world has affected all of us in so many damaging ways. We thank You for accepting us in our brokenness through Jesus, and for Your commitment to bringing us to spiritual and emotional health and wholeness. Forgive us as your people when we have gone on the offensive against those caught up in any sexual sin. Teach us how to live as You lived as You walked among us, Lord Jesus. We want to love as You loved and speak truth as You spoke truth.

From a place of humility before You, we plead with You Lord, to intervene to preserve Your intent regarding marriage. From the High Court of Heaven, would you step down into the Supreme Court of the United States to bring about Your will and purposes regarding the family? Give that wisdom which only You can give. Pour out righteousness upon our land. According to the word of the prophet Isaiah, would You restore our judges that they might rule according to Your purposes and desires? We ask this, for your honor and glory, in the majestic name of Jesus. Amen!

- Dr. David Butts - Chairman of America's National Prayer Committee

'Islam Is a Very Dark Theory':

How the Son of a Founding Member of Hamas
Rejected Extremism and Converted to Christianity

Mosab Hassan Yousef, the bestselling author of "Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices," appeared on The Glenn Beck Program Monday to discuss how he rejected radical Islam and converted to Christianity.

"I was brought up in a state of delusion, believing the Islamic theory that once we control the globe and build an Islamic State we can bring humanity, justice and happiness and solve the human condition," Yousef said. "Islam is a very dark theory and we need to face this reality."

The son of one of the founding members of Hamas, Yousef worked as a spy for the Israeli intelligence service after beginning to question the ideology he had been raised with. On Monday, he reiterated his belief that "Islam is the religion of war."

"Islam is at war with everything that is not Muslim," he said. "Islam has been in a war against the west and its foundations for the last 1,400 years. This is a fact. The Islamic phenomena that we see in ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Taliban - this is not just a new phenomenon. It has been out there for the last 1,400 years. And I think this is the time for humanity to have the courage to say no to the Islamic theory." (The Blaze) Read more.

THAT OLD TIME RELIGION

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for." (Hebrews 11:1,2)

In these perilous times, when all that can be shaken is being shaken, let us return to the "faith of our fathers" and sing the hymns and songs of old.

May we each draw strength in our own time, as we "dig the wells of treasure" to draw upon the strength that carried our ancestors through their own perilous times. Amen.

THAT OLD TIME RELIGION

Lyrics:

Refrain

'Tis the old time religion,
[or Give me that old time religion]
'Tis the old time religion,
'Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

It was good for our mothers.
It was good for our mothers.
It was good for our mothers.
And it's good enough for me.

Refrain

Makes me love everybody.
Makes me love everybody.
Makes me love everybody.
And it's good enough for me.

Refrain

It has saved our fathers.
It has saved our fathers.
It has saved our fathers.
And it's good enough for me.

Refrain

It will do when I am dying.
It will do when I am dying.
It will do when I am dying.
And it's good enough for me.

Refrain

It will take us all to Heaven.
It will take us all to Heaven.
It will take us all to Heaven.
And it's good enough for me.

Refrain

Next Blood Moon to Appear over America Early on Saturday Morning

Sources tell us that the total lunar eclipse is expected to occur at 5:03 AM EST on the morning of Saturday April 4 and will last for about 5 minutes. This "sign in the heaven," then, will appear right in the midst of our Passover Prayer Surge that night!

Also, researchers are posting information with details about this lunar eclipse here.
