The Daily Brief

1. US, Partners Start Airstrikes in Syria - Newsmax

The U.S. and five Arab countries launched airstrikes Monday night on Islamic State group targets in Syria, expanding a military campaign into a country whose three-year civil war has given the brutal militant group a safe haven.

Using a mix of manned aircraft - fighter jets and bombers - plus Tomahawk cruise missiles, the strikes were part of the expanded military campaign that President Barack Obama authorized nearly two weeks ago in order to disrupt and destroy the Islamic State militants, who have slaughtered thousands of people, beheaded Westerners - including two American journalists - and captured large swaths of Syria and northern and western Iraq.

U.S. officials said the airstrikes began around 8:30 p.m. EDT, and were conducted by the U.S., Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. The first wave of strikes finished about 90 minutes later, but the operation was expected to continue for several more hours, according to one U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly by name about an ongoing mission.

Because the military operation was ongoing, no details could be provided yet, said Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Pentagon's press secretary. He said the military made the decision to strike early Monday. A White House official said Obama was being updated. (Read more)

- Lord, we do pray these strikes will disrupt the militants. We pray and agree with Psalm 44 that says:

- "Through You shall we push down our enemies;
through Your name shall we tread them under who rise up against us."
Through you we push back our enemies;
through your name we trample our foes.
I put no trust in my bow,
my sword does not bring me victory;
but you give us victory over our enemies,
you put our adversaries to shame.
In God we make our boast all day long,
and we will praise your name forever."

(Psalm 44:5-8)

2. Source: Plots against U.S. discovered - CNN

. . . the United States took action -- on its own -- against another terrorist organization, the Khorasan Group. Obama described its members as "seasoned al Qaeda operatives in Syria." U.S. officials said the group was plotting attacks against the United States and other Western targets.

The plots against the United States were discovered by the intelligence community in the past week, an intelligence source with knowledge of the matter told CNN. The source did not say what the target may have been, but said the plot involved a bomb made of a nonmetallic device, toothpaste container, and clothes dipped in explosive material. A plot involving concealed bombs on airplanes "was just one option they were looking at," a U.S. official said.

"Once again, it must be clear to anyone who would plot against America and try to do Americans harm that we will not tolerate safe havens for terrorists who threaten our people," Obama said in televised remarks from the White House. (Read more)

- LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, we give You all the praise and all the Glory and all the honor for this victory. Lord God, we know that there are many more plots yet to be exposed and brought down, so we thank You that You have heard our prayers and You are working on our behalf to foil all schemes of the wicked planned against us. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "He uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings out to light the shadow of death." (Job 12:22)

3. ISIS audio urges Muslims everywhere to kill 'unbelievers' - Huffington Post

Coalition members among those targeted in latest ISIS propaganda speech

ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani is urging individual Muslims to launch attacks on civilians, including Canadians, in countries opposing the murderous Islamist group.

In the audio, Adnani rallies fighters against the United States and the coalition it is leading in Iraq and Syria.

. . . Directing a message to ISIS fighters, Adnani declared the military intervention by the U.S.-led coalition will be the "final campaign of the crusaders." (Read more)

- Lord, we cast down this plea from this ISIS audio. May their words fall on deaf ears. In Jesus' name, we disrupt and destroy all their plans. Bring chaos to their camps. Open their eyes to see the myriad of angels protecting the righteous, and let them turn and run in terror from all those they plan to attack.

- "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:17)

4. US strikes target Al Qaeda veterans in Syria plotting 'imminent attack'
- Fox News

U.S. officials say airstrikes in Syria on Monday night were aimed in part at disrupting an "imminent attack" by Al Qaeda-tied fighters on either the United States or Europe, in the strongest evidence yet of the growing threat posed by the group.

The strikes against the so-called Khorasan Group, conducted only by the U.S., were separate from the strikes against the Islamic State in which Arab allies participated.

U.S. Central Command said eight strikes were launched against the group's training camps, command-and-control facilities and other sites in the area west of Aleppo.

"We will not tolerate safe havens for terrorists who threaten our people," President Obama said Tuesday, in reference to the strikes on the Khorasan Group. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You that we were alerted to this threat yesterday, in time to publish this alert to this prayer network. We thank You, too, for the many others who have been praying since then that these planned attacks would not occur.

Father God, You do answer our prayers! In 24 hours flat, You have moved upon the hearts of world leaders to launch an airstrike against ISIS and al Qaeda/ Khorasan in Syria, AND we now have news that a plot to bring destruction on our soil has been found out and dismantled. Halleluajah, Lord!! We remain in prayer, amen and amen and in the Name of Jesus, amen!

- "Get up, you officers, oil the shields!
This is what the Lord says to me:

"Go, post a lookout and have him report what he sees.
When he sees chariots with teams of horses,
riders on donkeys or riders on camels,
let him be alert, fully alert."
(Isaiah 21:5,6,7)

5. IS 'not America's fight alone' - BBC

President Obama has hailed the support of Arab nations in air strikes on Islamic State (IS) militants, saying: "This is not America's fight alone." He was speaking hours after the US and Arab allies launched their first air strikes against IS in Syria. Activists say at least 70 IS militants and 50 other al-Qaeda-linked fighters were killed in the strikes.

US state department spokeswoman Jan Psaki said the US had warned Syria in advance "not to engage US aircraft". But she added that Washington had not requested permission or given advance notice of the timing of the attacks.

President Obama confirmed that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar had taken part in or supported the strikes. He said the US was "proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with these nations".

Syria's President Assad says he backs "any international effort against terror" in first remarks after air strikes live. (Read more)

- Father, we do thank You that these nations, led by leaders who follow Islam, nevertheless are now joining forces with the Americans to defeat ISIS. As they begin to "comingle" among us, we trust the that light of Christ, still present in the hearts of many of our servicemen and women, will penetrate the darkness of their hearts . . . leading many to salvation. Let the love of the Lord soften the hearts of the lost and lead them to our Messiah. We ask this prayer in Jesus' name, amen.

- " . . . The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5) ". . . to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'" (Acts 26:18)

6. Islamic State: Where Key Countries Stand - BBC

The lightning rise of Islamic State (IS), the jihadist militant group that has seized large parts of Syria and Iraq, has sent shockwaves around the region and beyond.

The US has assembled a coalition to fight IS, but longstanding enmities and an already complex situation in the Middle East mean forming sustainable alliances will be far from straightforward. Here is a look at where countries stand . . . (Read article here)
[Countries include: Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Turkey, Lebanon, European Union.]

- Lord God, You are the Governor of the nations. We thank You that, in the midst of this horrible time when the brutal beast, ISIS, is terrorizing the nations, you are causing the Arabs and the Moslems to flee and to seek help from a nation that was founded upon the Judeo-Christian ethic. We ask for complete and total victory as this coalition holds together in the face of this common enemy. We ask this tonight in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

7. Obama to Enlist U.N. in Fight Against ISIS - New York Times

Obama will make a wholehearted pitch to the General Assembly for the broadest possible international coalition to fight the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. In face-to-face meetings with several leaders on the sidelines of the Assembly, he will try to nail down specific commitments to the effort, whether military, financial or humanitarian. (Read more)

- Father God, we ask for favor before the United Nations as we wage war against an enemy that beheads its victims, cuts off the heads of babies, and slices children in half in front of their helpless parents. Lord God, we cry out for mercy! Let the civilized nations rise up and prevail, together and in unity, against this common enemy. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

- "I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me." (Psalm 13:4)

8. Top-level turnover makes it harder for DHS to stay on top of evolving threats - Washington Post

An exodus of top-level officials from the Department of Homeland Security is undercutting the agency's ability to stay ahead of a range of emerging threats, including potential terrorist strikes and cyberattacks, according to interviews with current and former officials. Over the past four years, employees have left DHS at a rate nearly twice as fast as in the federal government overall, and the trend is accelerating, according to a review of a federal database. (Red more)

- Dear Lord, we look to You for protection from the harm that could be done to our country in the absence of an adequately functioning Homeland Security Department. We pray that You would solve the problems that have caused so many to leave this agency and create a harmonious atmosphere to conduct the activities of this department so necessary in this current time of threats to our homeland.

- "O Lord, rescue me from evil people. Protect me from those who are violent."
(Psalm 140:1)

9. Immigration worker union warns 'serious threat' of ISIS entering US - Fox News

The union representing America's immigration caseworkers warned Thursday of the "real and serious threat" that Islamic State terrorists could gain entry to the United States, either by slipping through the southern U.S. border or exploiting "loose and lax" visa policies.

Kenneth Palinkas, president of the National Citizenship and Immigration Services Council, issued the warning in a written statement. He's the latest to raise alarm that the Islamic State may be planning to infiltrate the U.S., though top security officials have said they see no evidence of such a plot at this stage.

Palinkas specifically alleged the administration has made it easier for terrorists to "exploit" the country's visa policies and enter the homeland. (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord, that those in a position to know can warn us of the likelihood of terrorists entering through our porous borders because of inadequate visa policies. We thank You that these Union spokesmen have had the courage to point out this breach in our security, even though the "official" word has been to dismiss this threat by authorities inside the DHS. Father, those authorities have ignored the plainly stated goals of ISIS. Dear Father, deliver us from those who have a political agenda in ignoring these warnings and give this country Your very special protection for Your Name Sake.

- "Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name's sake." (Psalms 79:9)

10. Fence-jumper: Another victim of "Psych Crisis" at Fort Hood? - WND

'Omar is not some maniac. He's a veteran who needs help'

Only five months after a senior neuropsychologist in charge of Fort Hood's outpatient psychiatry clinic revealed to WND a crisis in psychological testing and treatment at the U.S. Army post, a decorated war veteran who sought therapy at the installation is now in federal custody for jumping the White House fence and bursting through the executive mansion doors.

On Sept. 26, Omar J. Gonzalez, a 42-year-old Army veteran who had deployed to Iraq three times and was injured by a homemade bomb, jumped over the north fence, sprinted across the lawn and was stopped only after he entered the White House doors. Gonzalez has suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and paranoia and was being treated at Fort Hood, Texas, for a time, according to his former stepson, Jerry S. Murphy. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for our veterans who need mental health treatments. We pray especially for Fort Hood to receive the mental health practitioners they need to successfully treat the many soldiers who come to them for mental problems.

- "He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." (Psalm 107:20)

The Middle East in Focus

This week, for all the headlines cited below, please join us in proclaiming THIS DECREE:

"He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." (Psalm 91:11)

1. Israel preparing itself for when things change in Syria, IDF official says - Jerusalem Post

The Syrian war raging since 2011 is "not ours, but we are preparing ourselves for the day when the situation will change," a senior IDF officer from the 210th territorial Habashan Division, based on the Golan Heights, said Sunday.

Israel can deploy major firepower to the area if needed "within minutes," the source said, adding that "we don't need more forces here." (Read more)

2. Four Hadassah board members resign in protest - Jerusalem Post

The board of directors of the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem on Wednesday "accepted" the resignation of four of its members.

The four - chairman Esther Dominissini, Yoram Ariav, Uri Neiger and Yossi Rosen - reportedly resigned to protest against efforts by the Finance Ministry to establish a recovery plan to restore HMO's financial health but without consulting with the board. (Read more)

- Lord, we ask that you influence the board of directors of this organization to be good stewards of the money they receive. We also pray that You will let more funding be released to keep them going. In the name of Yeshuah, amen.

3. ALERT! Reservists called up for next Hamas frontline - campuses - Times of Israel

Leading anti-Zionist organization American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) has called for massive protests on campuses to mark September 23 as the International Day of Action. Its stated goal: to "make Free Palestine and Ending the Siege on Gaza part of campus education by holding teach-ins, rallies, sit-ins, civil disobedience, and push for BDS activities."

According to the event's Facebook page, there are already organizers at work at colleges including Berkeley, SFSU and UCSF in California, Rutgers in New Jersey, University of Texas at Austin and Purdue in Indiana.

So far several hundred have indicated they'll attend to rally against the recent "Summer of Fire" in which "Israel launched an unparalleled brutal assault against the Palestinians of Gaza." (Read more)

- Oh Abba, how the eyes of many still are deceived. For them to see the fighting this summer only as Israel brutally assaulting Palestine, the enemy has clouded their eyes. Lord, please take the scales off their eyes to the truth: Israel was defending itself against attacks. We pray, Father, that as Your people seek You and celebrate Your Holy Days that You will reveal Yourself more and in a deeper way than they have experienced before. We ask that there will be peace on these university campuses and that no riots will occur because of any planned events. We thank You for your love for your children. In the name of Yeshuah, amen.

In a passionate address to students in the Cooper Union hall, Abbas said, "The international community has the responsibility to protect our people, living under the terror of settlers, an occupying army." (Read more)

- Lord, You promised this land to the descendents of Abraham. We ask that You not let Israel lose one inch of land, but in fact that You would restore the original borders of the entire promised land. In the name of Yeshuah, amen.

8. Outrage in Southern Tel Aviv Over Infiltrators Law - Israel National News

Residents of southern Tel Aviv on Monday evening set up a "mourning tent" at the Habima Square in the city, in a reaction to the High Court's decision to strike down key sections of the Infiltrators Law that made it possible to detain illegal immigrants without trial for up to one year.

Residents of southern Tel Aviv have been suffering from endless harassment, fear and violence perpetrated by the many illegal Eritrean and Sudanese infiltrators who enter Israel to find employment and come to live in their working class neighborhood.

In its ruling, the court said that about 2,000 illegal infiltrators from Eritrea and Sudan who are currently being held at the Holot detention facility in the Negev must be set free in three months' time. (Read more)

1. Secret weapon to take over America revealed - WND

Dr. Mark Christian, an obstetrician and former Egyptian Muslim with direct family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, is talking a lot these days about "stealth jihad." He says it's the Brotherhood's way of exploiting liberal immigration policies while working relentlessly through various Islamic front groups to pressure government, education and religious institutions to make concessions to Islam.

Their plan here is to use the influence of the U.S. to further their own agenda. It has been going on for quite some time," said Christian, who broke with the Islamic faith in 2003, converted to Christianity and came to America two years later. He changed his name and settled in Nebraska, only to be threatened and harassed by Muslims, including some from his own family.

"The Muslim Brotherhood is so big right now and so influential and so wealthy that they can do things on their own," he said. "The only thing that is missing is the power of the U.S. military to be on their side." (Read more)

2. The New Colonizers - PJ Media.com

There is no longer any excuse for apathy, distraction or ignorance, for the evidence of our approaching dispossession is all around us. It is equally an affront and a tragedy to find ourselves colonized in our own land. To paraphrase the prophet Ezekiel (33: 2-6), those who hear the sound of the warning trumpet and do not take the warning, their blood shall be upon them. Regrettably, far too many of us still cannot or do not or will not hear the trumpet. (Read more here.)

3. A new terror group, Khorasan, is 'much scarier than ISIS' admits US National Intelligence Director - TheMuslimIssue

They will keep being created and coming, more and more of them like a Hydra. This is why it is completely essential - for survival if nothing else - to deport religious and practicing Muslims without delay, demolish all mosques, ban the Quran, end all travels and trade with the Middle East and take no investments from Muslims anywhere. All welfare payments to Muslims must end and the rapid breeding must be stopped. Prisons must separate and isolate Muslim prisoners from others. Schools and Universities need to assure Muslims are not hired within education to teach children or youth. The true history of Islamic invasion and the endless occupation and jihad of country after country need to be exposed to the general public as a duty contained in the religion itself. Muslims need to be removed from the West and isolated back to Islamic countries; and oil trade must be ended with their countries. The extremist left who opened the doors to Muslim immigration into the West need to be taken to court and charged with treason for the worse crime to undermine security ever committed against the West.

10. Al Qaeda's quiet plan to outdo the Islamic State and hit U.S. - CBSNews.com

Sources confirm that the al Qaeda cell goes by the name "Khorasan."

Unlike ISIS, which is believed at present to be largely engulfed in its fight for territory. Khorasan is developing fresh plots to target U.S. aviation, and it's trying to recruit Westerners who have flocked to the fight in Syria, some of whom have joined the al Qaeda franchise in the country, known as the al-Nusra Front.

The fear is that U.S. and European passport holders could more easily smuggle explosives onto airplanes.

Asked if there was anything about the threat he could reveal to lawmakers during the public testimony on Capitol Hill, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said discussions about "specific organizations . . . should be left to a classified setting." (Read more)

11. Infamous Bomb Maker Member of Khorasan - CBSNews.com

Sources tell CBS News the group includes technicians trained by al Qaeda's master bomb-builder, Ibrahim al-Asiri. The Yemen-based Asiri built the infamous but ultimately unsuccessful underwear bombs and two cargo bombs concealed in printer cartridges.

He is considered one of the most innovative bomb-builders in the jihadist world, and he's still operating freely -- at least for now.

CIA chief John Brennan recently told Orr that U.S. officials were "doing what we can" to track Asiri down, and predicted that his "time will come." (Read more)

Islamic State: "We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah"

This message, full of threats and murder, boasting and Qur'an quotations (all the citations in this piece are from the Qur'an), has just been released. Even just a cursory reading shows the absurdity of blandly asserting that the Islamic State's ideology has nothing to do with Islam. Tony Blair is right: the free world does need to confront this ideology. Pretending that it doesn't exist, or is not what it is, is not confronting it.

COMMENTARY FROM GARY BAUER:

ISIS Issues New Warning

[Note from CHPP: We apply the Blood of JESUS over the following words, and declare them null and void through the work of the Cross. In Jesus' name, amen.]

ISIS thugs released more jihadist videos in recent days. Late Friday, a propaganda video, titled "Flames of War," appeared showing a mass execution of prisoners. CNN notes that toward the end of the nearly hour-long film, the Arabic speaker "seamlessly switches to English." But this time the speaker didn't sound British. His accent was either American or Canadian. He also takes part in the execution of unarmed prisoners.

A second video appeared Sunday featuring ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al Adnani, who urges Muslims in America and in nations allied with us to kill the infidels: "O America, O allies of America, and O crusaders, know that the matter is more dangerous than you have imagined and greater than you have envisioned. We have warned you that today we are in a new era. If you can kill a disbelieving American or European kill him in any manner or way however it may be."

PRAYER ALERT: Islamic State calls on supporters to kill Australians 'in any possible way'

PRAYER OF FAITH (and now for America, too.)

Dear Father in Heaven,

We acknowledge that you are calling us in Aotearoa New Zealand to "stand and pray" for our brothers and sisters at this time in support of our neighbor Australia and all Australians and their loved ones that may be threatened with the Islamic Jihad threat. We give you thanks that the signs of the times are surely at hand as they were in the days of Noah where violence filled the earth.

We thank you that you have forwarned us in scripture regarding the days when Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives to rule and reign as KING of kings and LORD of lords, for as in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. We thank you for your love for all in our region of the Great Southlands of the Holy Spirit and the purpose and your plans for all of us to stand together as ONE with the ONE TRUE GOD the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the HOLY ONE of Israel our Saviour and LORD our soon coming KING.

Bless and comfort we pray all those that are sensing fear and anxiety from this declaration against them and pour out your love and, peace as perfect love casts out fear. Thank you Abba for hearing our prayers in Jesus name we pray. Amen

> > > Please forward to your networks as the LORD leads; as we stand together as one in Christ.

Another war, another deception

The "president" has ordered the bombing of Syria, especially the Islamic State's strongholds. Breaking his promise made in Cairo, America is at war with Islam. The Islamic State is conquering Muslims in the name of Islam and expanding its declared caliphate. It is raping, pillaging, beheading, and taking spoil as instructed by the Quran. It is the face of Islam and the centerpiece of Islamic Sharia governance. The US "president" said on June 4, 2009, "America is not-and never will be-at war with Islam. We will, however, relentlessly confront violent extremists who pose a grave threat to our security." His statement is a severe contradiction. Islam is extreme, threatens security, and foments war.

But what of a hidden agenda? During Arab Spring, when the "president" was declaring a humanitarian crisis to use American tax dollars and firepower to support a Muslim Brotherhood-al Qaeda-led coup in Libya, he also employed the same narrative to justify a coup in Syria. In fact, there is some good documentation to suggest that once Libya was handed over to Muslim Brotherhood Sharia law, that al Qaeda fighters and the weapons they were using migrated quickly to arm al Qaeda affiliates operating in Syria. Al Nursa, ISIS, and several other of the "rebel" groups were expecting far more help in overthrowing Syria in the name of Islamic Sharia than the American public was willing to give.

Now the "president" is getting the best of both of his worlds. He is able to bomb Syria while feigning an end to the Islamic State.The Muslim Brotherhood must be ecstatic. Islamic State recruiting in the Muslim world will skyrocket because America is now at war with Islam, and the bombing in Syria will no doubt weaken the Syrian government that the "president" and the Muslim Brotherhood targeted to overthrow during Arab Spring. Trying to make it look like the Arab world against the Islamic Caliphate, the "president's" spin doctors are spoon feeding news media such as the New York Times, with: "Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates took part in the strikes, American officials said, although the Arab governments were not expected to announce their participation until later Tuesday." Really?

The deception is that Arab Spring, supported by this "president," is and was born out of confusion, crisis, and conflict. The "president" is bringing a longstanding Marxist-Hegalian dialectic to play in the Middle East. The ongoing thesis was America's support of Israel and stable Arab states. He stated his antithesis in Cairo--that America would have a new beginning with Islam; then came the synthesis from the crisis. The current bombings are a continuation of the synthesis of a new beginning with Sharia Islam ruling the Middle East. Ephesians 5:6 says, "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." Another war, another deception.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

ISIS Mocks Obama

ISIS Mocks Obama

Much of al Adnani's message was devoted to mocking Barack Obama, including his supposed war strategy. But he also lashed out at the oft-repeated statements by Obama and Kerry that there is nothing Islamic about the Islamic State.

We have pointed out before the oddity of Western liberals lecturing the world on the "true" nature of Islam and why the Islamic State doesn't represent the "religion of peace." How do Kerry and Obama credibly claim to know more about Islam than the Islamists?

I had suggested that Obama and Kerry sounded like "Muslim missionaries." Now even ISIS says they sound like muftis and sheikhs standing up for Islam. Noting that Obama had defended Islam "during six different addresses he made in the span of a single month," Al Adnani said:

"They [Obama and Kerry] turned into Islamic jurists, muftis, sheikhs, and preachers, standing up for Islam and the Muslims, so it appears that they no longer have confidence in the ability or sincerity of their sorcerers."
The unwillingness of Obama and his (in)security team to define the enemy -- as the enemy defines itself -- projects weakness, not only to our enemies but also here at home. Recent polls have found that a majority of voters believe Obama is "weak" and that they have no confidence in his ability to defeat ISIS. (Gary Bauer)

France Presents Israel-PA Solution at UN

BIG NEWS! Israel-Palestinian solution to be presented to UN Security Council

French president Hollande says country 'will have a resolution that will say very clearly what we expect from the (peace) process and what the solution to the conflict must be'. A "solution to the conflict" between the Israelis and Palestinians will be put to the UN Security Council, French President Francois Hollande said yesterday after meeting Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Paris. We will have a resolution, to be presented to the Security Council, that will say very clearly what we expect from the (peace) process and what the solution to the conflict must be," Hollande told reporters.

The French president said that stop-start negotiations had gone on "too long" and "there is a perception that there will never be a solution to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, even though we know the outlines" of a possible deal". The most recent armed confrontation was "the third time that Gaza has been destroyed," Hollande said. "What we must look for is a durable peace accord," he said, adding that stalled peace talks "must now reach their end".
Abbas urged "all countries to assume their responsibilities to end a conflict that has lasted more than 66 years". "Making peace will give added legitimacy to the fight against terrorism in the region," he added. Abbas, who is trying to build support ahead of a new Palestinian diplomatic push within the United Nations, said that France could give impetus to an Arab League-backed plan calling for an end to Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the formation of a Palestinian state based on 1967 borders. After France, he is to go on to New York to participate in the annual UN General Assembly starting September 24. (YnetNews) Read more here.

A COMMENTARY FROM HEBREW NATION NEWS

What does it mean? (Commentary from HN News editor)

Hmmmm . . . interesting that France is bringing this proposal for a Palestinian state with 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital to the UN Security Council now. There are 5 countries that have VETO power that can veto the Palestinian proposal. They are: China, Russia, the UK, France, and the United States.

Here is what it looks like, smells like and feels like to me: this proposal from France is very likely hot off the press from John Kerry and Obama's desk; very likely they wrote this proposal up, and handed it off to French leadership to be the "Judas" to stab Israel in the back. We have two parallel courts pondering the same matter. The UN Security Council will be convening as a "worldly court" beginning Sept 24, to begin pondering the matter of the Palestinian state. "Heaven's court" will be in session beginning sundown of Sept 24th, as we go into the Feast of Trumpets or Yom Teruah. Then Yahweh will give HIS judgement on Day of Atonement on October 4/5.

Here is a possible scenario: France refines the language of the Palestinian proposal, they delay for a few weeks, and wait until AFTER the US November elections. Once the November elections are done, Obama can do whatever he likes. Shortly after November elections, if the UN Security Council votes in FAVOR of dividing the land of Israel and declaring, decreeing and defining a Palestinian state, this is the fulfillment of Joel 3: 2, and Zech. 12. Then the judgment of Yahweh will come down upon the nations because they have divided HIS land.
Though the US has exercised its VETO power in Feb of 2011 on the Palestinian question, I would NOT count on a VETO from the US on this upcoming round! Obama wants this feather in his legacy cap: that he was the leader who helped orchestrate the birth of the Palestinian (or ESAU) nation.
This story needs to be followed closely. If things unfold the way I am anticipating, we are going to see a lot of biblical prophesy fulfilled in the days and weeks ahead. We are headed into some very exciting times. Remember, the ESAU nation will be born first, and then not long after that the JACOB nation will be born!
We were BORN FOR THESE DAYS! Buckle your seat belts, it is going to be the ride of your life!

How to Pray for our military

How to Pray for our military: Part One

We apologize for getting this Brief out to you so late today, but please know that our internal team of CHPP Prayer Shield prayer warriors have just completed ten hours of prayer for our military!

In light of the very real threats made by ISIS yesterday to attack the servicemen and their families where they live, we felt constrained to STOP and to pray PROTECTION for these precious men and women in uniform who have sworn to protect us.
To accomplish this task, we divided our prayer time into ten segments - 5 states each; one hour each - and appointed a different leader to man the watch for that hour. Using this website as our resource, we found a listing of military installations all across our nation: Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Marines, and step by step, state by state, we covered each one in the Blood of the Lamb.
I can honestly state that this has proven to be one of the most thrilling prayer initiatives we have ever experienced in the twenty years since our ministry was established.
Tonight, we encourage each of you to visit:

http://militarybases.com

and prayerfully consider how you might cover the bases in your own states in prayer.

May our Lord bless each one of you as you press in to hear His heart in this perilous time.

In His Amazing Grace,

Our "New" Marching Song!

Our "New" Marching Song!

"Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus!"

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! ye soldiers of the cross;

Lift high His royal banner, it must not suffer loss:
From vict'ry unto vict'ry, His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished, and Christ is Lord indeed.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! The trumpet call obey:
Forth to the mighty conflict, in this His glorious day;
Ye that are men now serve Him against unnumbered foes;
Let courage rise with danger, and strength to strength oppose.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! Stand in His strength alone,
The arm of flesh will fail you, ye dare not trust your own;
Put on the gospel armor, and watching unto prayer,
Where calls the voice of duty, be never wanting there.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! the strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle, the next the victor's song;
To him that overcometh a crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory shall reign eternally.

Ukraine Leaders Turn to American Pastors for Help Rebuilding Nation

"Ukraine's quest for freedom is reminiscent of the voice of our Founders who, generations ago, appealed to the God of Heaven to hear their prayers to build a new nation that would be a shining city on a hill. The question is, will we in America stand by them and let our light shine so theirs does not flame out?"

Newly elected Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko told a joint session of Congress Thursday morning that the Ukrainian people have demonstrated their commitment to freedom and that their fight to throw off oppression is a fight for which all free peoples must stand in solidarity.

As Washington's eyes are on Ukraine, at the invitation of Ukrainian leaders, the American Pastors Network has taken an active role in the rebuilding of Ukraine-politically, culturally and spiritually.

In June, APN participated by invitation in a national summit on leadership in Ukraine, providing government and pastoral leaders guidance and a pathway for establishing a new government based onBiblical principles and the Rule of Law. Future summits focusing on education and the Constitution are already being planned.

APN President Sam Rohrer said Poroshenko's speech is clear proof that the country is yearning for freedom undergirded by a Constitution that only Biblical principles can build.

"The president's speech [Thursday] morning to Congress appealed to the one body of leaders who have it within their power to advance the cause of freedom or fuel the fires of tyranny," Rohrer says. "He didn't say, 'Fight our battles for us,' he asked for help with the tools necessary for them to fight the battle-that in reality is our battle today.

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
