The Daily Brief

1. Obama orders U.S. airstrikes in Syria against Islamic State - Reuters

President Barack Obama told Americans on Wednesday he had authorized U.S. airstrikes for the first time in Syria and more attacks in Iraq in a broad escalation of a campaign against the Islamic State militant group. Obama's decision to launch attacks inside Syria, which is embroiled in a three-year civil war, marked a turnabout for the president, who shied away a year ago from airstrikes to punish Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for using chemical weapons against his own people.

In a widely anticipated, 13-minute White House speech, Obama said he would hunt down Islamic State militants "wherever they are" in a drive to degrade and ultimately destroy the group, which has seized broad stretches of Iraq and Syria. "That means I will not hesitate to take action against ISIL in Syria, as well as Iraq. This is a core principle of my presidency: if you threaten America, you will find no safe haven," he said, speaking on the eve of the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Obama asked Congress to authorize $500 million to train and arm "moderate" Syrian rebels. The training would take place in Saudi Arabia. It is unclear whether more American weapons and training can shift the battlefield balance toward the U.S.-backed rebels, who are badly outgunned by Islamic State, other militant groups and Assad's forces. (Read more)

- Lord God, we do thank You that this president has now done an "about face" and is seemingly determined to take action to degrade and dismantle the forces of ISIS. We thank You for guiding His steps, and we ask that all air strikes undertaken in Syria and Iraq would be directed by Your Hand.

Father, we ask Your wisdom for our leaders as they seek to train another group of "moderate" rebels from Syria - the very ones who have turned against us in days past. We ask that You make all crooked paths straight in this part of the world, so that clear and definite policy guidelines will be established as we wage war against a "new" and a brutal enemy. There are no 'moderate' rebels in Islam. We ask this in the Name of Jesus and under His Shed Blood, Amen and Amen.

- "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)

2. ALERT! Entire Leadership of ISIS Opposition Wiped Out by 'Unexplained' Explosion - Breitbart

Nearly fifty senior commanders of a major coalition of Islamic 'moderates' opposed to ISIS in Syria have been killed by an explosion at their secret command bunker as they met to discuss strategy against the the Islamic State.

The blast in the Northwest region of Idlib, Syria on Tuesday killed senior members of rebel group the Ahrar-al-Sham brigade (AaS), including leader Hassan Abboud and 45 others including senior members from other rebel alliance groups, reports The Times. The Idlib region stands in AaS territory, but it is close to the front-line with ISIS in neighbouring Aleppo.

Sources dispute the source of the blast, with it being unclear whether it was an opposition group, suicide bomber, or accidental explosion at a nearby ammunition dump. Regardless, the incident will destabilise and possibly tear apart the AaS group and associated Islamic Front Coalition which was recently described as "the most powerful armed group in Syria". (Read more)

> > > For more details on this story, see our Tracking ISIS section, below.

- Lord God, that was fast! Just as soon as the U.S. announced that we will begin arming and training the rebels in Syria, an explosion has mysteriously wiped out their entire command structure. This IS war -- even though the State Department announced today that they will not be using this term in its statements. War is war and the fight is on.

Lord God, we offer the support of our own "weapons of warfare" joined with man's weapons to take down the structure that now threatens us all. In Jesus' name, amen.

- "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds . . ." (2 Corinthians 10:4)

3. Lawmakers worried Obama using wrong military model to target ISIS
- Fox News

President Obama earned positive marks from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle for announcing an unequivocal campaign to destroy the Islamic State, but Republicans are worried the president is relying on the wrong military model to go after the terror group. In his prime-time address Wednesday night, Obama described a four-point "counterterrorism" strategy and compared the operation to efforts against al-Shabaab in Somalia and an Al Qaeda affiliate in Yemen. But Republican lawmakers suggested the Islamic State represents a far bigger challenge than the Islamic militants who operate in Somalia and Yemen - and said the U.S. approach to those countries still hasn't rooted out the terror threat. "These countries are still extremely unstable," Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., told Fox News on Thursday. Rubio said he's glad Obama has "come around" on recognizing the threat posed by the Islamic State - and on pushing to arm moderate Syrian rebels - but voiced concern about the strategy. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, may President Obama truly hear the voiced concerns about his strategy as to dealing with ISIS. May he recognize that Somalia and Yemen are still very unstable and full of violence, so this not a strategy to copy. Father, have mercy and confront these actions on every level so that many innocent lives are not again 'lost' and 'wasted.' We ask this in the Name of Jesus and under His Shed Blood, Amen and Amen.

- "Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding." (Proverbs 3:13 NKJV)

4. Syria, Iran slam US strategy in fighting militants, while opposition welcomes airstrikes - Fox News

Syrian and Iranian officials criticized the Obama administration on Thursday for excluding them from an international coalition coming together in the battle against the Islamic State group, while a state-run Syrian daily warned that unauthorized U.S. airstrikes on Syria may trigger the "first sparks of fire" in the region.

Syria's main Western-backed opposition group, meanwhile, welcomed President Barack Obama's authorization of U.S. airstrikes targeting - for the first time - the extremists inside Syria, saying it stands "ready and willing" to partner with the international community to defeat the militants. But the Syrian National Coalition said that airstrikes need to be coupled with a strategy for ultimately toppling President Bashar Assad.

Kurdish politicians in Iraq similarly praised Obama's announcement of wider airstrikes and assistance to Iraqi forces. "We welcome this new strategy," said Hoshyar Zebari, a Kurdish politician and one of Iraq's newly-appointed deputy prime ministers. "We think it will work with the cooperation of the indigenous local forces like Iraqi Security Forces, the Kurdish peshmerga and other forces. There is an urgent need for action. People cannot sit on the fence. This is a mortal threat to everybody," he told The Associated Press. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, this is a mixed response with many groups seeking their own particular agenda instead of one unified one for the safety and future of this region of the world. Airstrikes may be the solution in Iraq but it appears to be a mixed mess in Syria. Father, we ask You to rise up and raise Your right arm and extend it over Syria so that what You alone want will occur. Do not let these airstrikes start a nightmarish war for all the region and the world. We pray this in Jesus' Name and under His Shed Blood, Amen and Amen.

"But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be uprooted from it." (Proverbs 2:22 NKJV)

5. Arab allies commit to US fight against Islamic State - Ynet News

Key Arab allies of the US agreed on Thursday to "do their share" to fight against the Islamic State group, promising to take action to stop the flow of fighters and funding to the militants and possibly to join military action.

The announcement came after US Secretary of State John Kerry met with regional counterparts in the Saudi Red Sea coastal city of Jeddah in an effort to pin down Middle Eastern allies on what support they are willing to give to the US plan to beat back the Islamic State group, which has seized large swaths of Iraq and Syria.

After their talks, Saudi Arabia, other Gulf states and Egypt, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon issued a joint statement saying they were committed to stand against terrorism. They promised steps including stopping fighters and funding and "as appropriate, joining in the many aspects of a coordinated military campaign" against the militants. (Read more)

- Lord God, we do thank You that these nations are all joining forces with us to fight ISIS, but we also recognize that these nations are governed by Shi'a Islam and not Sunni. It is the Sunni government of Iran and others that is determined to quash ths Shi'a "apostates" of Islam. We ask that You brood over all the people of Islam - Sunni and Shi'a - that each one might find new life in Christ Jesus through His Shed Blood on the Cross, and that in Him, there would be true unity, and peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

- "And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation." (Rev. 5:9)

6. Israel will cooperate with US in fight against IS, envoy says - Times of Israel

US ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro expressed confidence Thursday that Israel and the US could work together in the fight against the Islamic State jihadist group. There is no doubt that every nation has something to contribute to this effort, including Israel," Shapiro told Israel Radio. "There is always close and full cooperation with Israel against mutual threats. I am sure our intelligence services will continue this cooperation when it comes to [IS] just as they have against other threats."

Shapiro also said that "we will make an effort to arrange a meeting between [President Barack Obama] and [Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu] during his visit to the US" after the Jewish New Year. (Read more)

- Abba Father, we ask You to be in the midst of any meeting between President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the US after the Jewish New Year. Expose and defuse any pressures and intimidation given to Israel by the US, we pray. Let our president hear and understand clearly any information given him by P.M. Netanyahu, and to honor his words. We ask that this be a meeting of Your plans and not those of the enemy. We pray this in the Name of Jesus and under His Shed Blood, Amen and Amen.

- "For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things." (Proverbs 2:6, 10-12 NKJV)

7. White House contradicts Kerry, says US 'at war' with Islamic State
- Fox News

The White House and Pentagon acknowledged Friday that the U.S. "is at war" with the Islamic State -- contradicting Secretary of State John Kerry who a day earlier refused to use that term, prompting criticism from lawmakers that the administration was downplaying the conflict.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest and Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby used almost identical language when pressed by reporters Friday whether or not the expanded military operation against the terrorist group is in fact a war.

"In the same way that the United States is at war with Al Qaeda and its affiliates . . . the United States is at war with ISIL," Earnest said. (Read more)

- Lord God, we come against the spirit of confusion that is already manifesting itself in our government regarding whether or not we are actually at war with ISIS. We bind that spirit, and we loose truth, in Jesus' name, so that all foreign governments know exactly where we stand as we confront ISIS. Amen and amen.

- "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18)

8. Brother of James Foley tells Fox government 'threatened' him over ransom bid - Fox News

The family of James Foley had critical words for the government's handling of his case, with the murdered journalist's brother telling Fox News the Obama administration threatened him when he tried to raise funds for his brother's release from ISIS -- the terrorist group that beheaded him in an Internet video that shocked the world.

"They were actually an impedance," Michael Foley told FNC's Megyn Kelly of the U.S. government's role in rescuing his older brother, a photojournalist who was kidnapped by ISIS militants in northern Syria in 2012 and held captive for 21 months before he was executed by the terrorist group.

U.S. policy does not allow for government negotiations with terrorist organizations or ransom payments for Americans kidnapped by them. Foley, however, said the administration made it difficult for the family to privately raise funds on its own to secure his brother's release. (Read more)

In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

9. DC Biker 9/11 Organizer Threatened with Arrest by Parks Service Police
- Breitbart

An annual motorcycle rally intended to honor the victims of 9/11 and military veterans almost did not happen on Thursday when U.S. Park Services threatened to yank their permits and tow the motorcycles parked on the mall.

"The way the parks people talked to us and took my picture like I'm some sort of criminal was disgusting. We were basically threatened several times with pulling the permits at the last minute," Belinda Bee, a national organizer for the 2 Million Bikers to DC told Breitbart News. "And everything they said that wasn't on the permit, I pulled the permit out and showed them where it was."

Bee added, "They tried to deny the 9/11 still memorial, which is on the permit. They tried to deny all of the stage and the truck. That's on the permit." (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask that You would move on the hearts of our governing authorities in Washington, D.C., who are attempting to deny our rights to freedom of speech - even in a rally in honor of Patriot's Day. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

- ". . . He will be . . . a strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate." (Isaiah 28:6)

10. The Black Swan Of Scotland - Zerohedge.com

It appears The UK government's approach to Scotland has shifted dramatically from threats (we can't guarantee your safety against terrorists) to hugs and kisses . . . as David Cameron begs Scots not to tear apart Britain's "family of nations." Evangelists on the ground in that nation are very concerned, stating that if Scotland votes to break away from the UK, the collapse of both Scotland and England is imminent! Please pray much in the Spirit over these reports, asking that God's perfect will be done for both nations. In Jesus' name, amen.

- "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah 9:7)

1. Israel concerned ISIS threat may distract Obama from Iran -Ynet News

The coalition created by US President Barack Obama to combat the threat posed by the Islamic State has brought rare cooperation to a divided and conflicted Middle East.

Rivals like Egypt and Qatar will line up side-by-side, as Sunnis and Shiites volunteer their help, but voices within the US have pointed a finger on Thursday on missing member of the coalition: Iran.

The New York Times dedicated its top slot on Thursday to the concern within Israel that Obama will focus less and less on Iranian efforts to develop nuclear weapons, at a critical moment in the diplomatic effort to curb such a result. (Read more)

- Lord God, We ask that You will give President Obama the focus to handle whatever tasks You put before him. Let him not miss any details or be too distracted by one thing or another. We ask that you also give wisdom to his administration to watch Iran while they work on ISIS. In the Name of Yeshua, amen.

2. Hamas admits to rocket fire from residential areas -The Times of Israel

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - Two weeks after the end of the Gaza war, there is growing evidence that Hamas operatives used residential areas as cover for launching rockets at Israel, at least several times. Even Hamas now admits "mistakes" were made.

But Hamas says it had little choice in Gaza's crowded urban landscape, took safeguards to keep people away from the fighting, and that a heavy handed Israeli response is to blame for the deaths of hundreds of Palestinian civilians. (Read more)

A family from Ramat Gan narrowly escaped a lynch attempt on Thursday evening when they made a wrong turn and entered the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Wadi Joz, where rioters threw a volley of rocks and bricks at the vehicle they were travelling in.

The family had been on their way to a swearing-in ceremony of the Golani Brigade at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

Fortunately, the father was the only one to sustain injuries, which were minor. This past week, riots have been taking place in the Arab neighborhood after residents heard that a local youth had died of wounds suffered in a clash with Israeli police last week. (Read more)

Islamic group Ahrar-al-Sham, whose name translates as 'The Free Men of Syria', is one of many movements competing in the inter-rebel conflict in Syria. A number of rebel groups are presently fighting each other as well as besieged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose power base is in West and South-West, for overall control of the Region.

As the main rival to ISIS for control of Syria, the AaS blast if not orchestrated by the Islamic State will certainly be greatly beneficial to them. The 'decapitation' strategy, targeting Ahrar-al-Sham's political, military and spiritual leadership is reminiscent of the United States' targeted strikes against the leadership of Al-Qaeda.

The death of Abboud and his followers in Idlib highlights the difficulty of Western involvement in the conflict, where enemies of the apparent first enemy ISIS also make fairly poor potential allies. Many members of AaS have come from groups like Al-Qaeda and would in any other context be considered hard line Islamists.

Ahrar-al-Sham has appointed a new leader, Hashim al-Sheikh, who will attempt to hold together the fragile coalition which has lost most of its senior thinkers and strategists. al-Sheik said the attack "will only make us more resilient to fight and continue the fight until we liberate our homeland" on Wednesday. A senior Democratic senator said Thursday that President Obama already has the authority to train and arm moderate forces in Syria, raising questions over whether a congressional vote to approve the program is necessary.

"He's asked for $500 million dollars for training and equipping, and he's asked for specific authority and support for training them - he already has the authority by the way," said Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), chairman of the Armed Forces Committee, at the Council on Foreign Relations. (Read more)

6. Ted Cruz and Michele Bachmann's ISIS Denaturalization Bills - Front Page Magazine

Michelle Bachmann, Ted Cruz As I wrote last week, any serious strategy against ISIS has to prevent Jihadists with US citizenship from entering this country after getting training abroad. This is a lot harder than it should be since a series of Supreme Court decisions and State Department action have made what used to be a routine procedure into a process that is rarely used.

(Statement by Senator Cruz) "Mr. President, that is why I have today filed legislation, the Expatriate Terrorist Act of 2014, which would amend the existing statute governing renunciation of United States citizenship to designate fighting for a hostile foreign government or foreign terrorist organization as an affirmative renunciation of citizenship. By fighting for ISIS, U.S. citizens have expressed their desire to become citizens of the Islamic State, and that cannot and will not peacefully coexist with remaining American citizens." 7. UN: Islamic State killed hundreds of children this year - where's the outrage? - Times of Israel

Envoy says many kids in Iraq are used as suicide bombers and child fighters for jihadists, others are summarily executed

Islamist fighters in Iraq have killed hundreds of children including in summary executions and used some as suicide bombers, the top UN envoy on children and armed conflict said Monday. "Up to 700 children have been killed or maimed in Iraq since the beginning of the year, including in summary executions," Leila Zerrougui told the UN Security Council.

The Daily Jot

Pieces of the prophetic puzzle taking shape

Turkey, a major player in end time prophecy (Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Pergamos), responded to the US "president's" new Arab Spring strategy announced in his Wednesday address to Americans. A high level Turkish government official Thursday told AFP that "Turkey will not be involved in any armed operation but will entirely concentrate on humanitarian operations. Turkey will not take part in any combat mission, nor supply weapons." AFP reports that Turkey is the only Muslim country in a coalition of 10 countries who agreed at the recent NATO summit to fight the Islamic State, but as we can see, it is not. Conversely, Turkey has been criticized for its indirect support of the Islamic State (IS).

Moreover, the occupant of the Oval Office continued as a Muslim apologist saying that the IS, which he calls ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) is not Islamic and that Muslims are its greatest victims. He said, "Now let's make two things clear: ISIL is not "Islamic." No religion condones the killing of innocents. And the vast majority of ISIL's victims have been Muslim. And ISIL is certainly not a state. It was formerly al Qaeda's affiliate in Iraq, and has taken advantage of sectarian strife and Syria's civil war to gain territory on both sides of the Iraq-Syrian border. It is recognized by no government, nor by the people it subjugates. ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way."

Many wonder how the end time beast empire spoken of by the prophets in the Bible could rapidly come to power. While we may not be witnessing the rise of the actual end time beast empire, we may be seeing a foreshadow of just how quickly these events can take shape. The "president" is obviously selling to a mostly unaware and ignorant public that the caliphate in the Levant (which includes Israel and Jerusalem) does not represent Islam. He boldly claims that no religion would kill innocent people. But Islam has been doing it for centuries. He ignores that the IS Caliphate not only is carrying out the Quran in word and in deed, but also believes it is ushering in the end times from an Islamic eschatological vision.

His Arab Spring strategy in the Middle East replaced decades of US foreign policy of maintaining stable secular governments in the region with one of overthrowing governments and establishing Sharia states. His support of the Muslim Brotherhood and its military arm, al Qaeda, combined with not addressing Iran's nuclear quest, and the added component of Turkey supporting the caliphate, quickly shapes up the prophetic puzzle, a foreshadowing of the end times at the very least. The Apostle Paul spoke of how in the latter days sound doctrine will not be tolerated, persecution will abound, and "evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:13)" This is how it's done.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Solar storm begins

Solar storm begins

What does it mean for you?

Experts are unsure of what will happen, but power grids, GPS, radios and satellites could be affected by the solar radiation.

Should we be worried the solar storm will fry our smartphones or other gadgets? "No, very unlikely," Dr. Petrus Martens, an expert on solar flares and a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Georgia State University, told CNN. "Of course if we lose the (power) grid, that will eventually affect cell phones and the Internet as well."

Besides power grids and satellites, Martens says other possible impacts are:

- Distortions in GPS readings of up to a few yards. That is not much, but it can be crucial for military applications; for example, targeting by drones.

- Increased corrosion of long pipelines like the Alaska oil pipeline.

- Homing pigeons going off course. (Martens is not joking about that one.)

I am spending time "underground" seeking the counsel of the Lord. What I am hearing is that there are three different phases of attacks being planned to bring down the warriors.

The intercessors are doing great damage to the kingdom of darkness, more than they know. The enemy is getting confused, in other words his confusion is being turned back on his own head. Because of this he is marshalling his forces to make a concentrated effort to stop, discourage and dissuade the intercessors. The prayers of repentance are being heard and having great effect but do not be deceived if it seems like the victory is at hand, the victory will come when the hand of the Lord falls heavy on the enemies plans. First the enemy will try to stop the intercession by reporting that the war has been won. Next he will announce that the war cannot be won and that the warriors need to give up lest they be destroyed. The third attack will be an attempt to distract the warriors with maneuvers in other areas to give the appearance that the focus of battle has shifted.

Every General must know his or her assignment and stay on God's battle plan because when the enemy is confused enough he will destroy his own army.

- Lord God, we praise You that You are watching over Your own, and that nothing escapes your attention. We thank You for the revelation You have given to Pastor Bowles, and his obedience to release this to Your intercessors.

Lord God, we receive this word from you as an exhortation to remain on watch, and to be wise to the strategies of the enemy, who is seeking to take us off the wall of prayer.

We thank You, Lord, that our intercession is doing great damage to the camp of the wicked, causing great confusion among them. We continue to cry out to You for each and every soul that is caught in the grip of the enemy, asking that You set each one free, through Your Shed Blood and in Your mighty Name, amen.

An Amazing First! - Nearly 900 Doctors Sign Dublin Declaration Stating "Abortion Isn't Necessary" to Save the Life of a Mother!

"The first step towards turning today's society against abortion is to show them that legal abortion is not needed in maternal healthcare, that is not needed to save women's lives and that banning abortion does not bring about a rise in maternal mortality." -Dr. Eoghan de Faoite

Almost 900 medical professionals have now signed the Dublin Declaration on Maternal Health, launched in 2012 to declare that abortion is not needed to save women's lives.

Unveiled at the International Symposium on Maternal Healthcare in Dublin, Ireland, the Declaration states: "As experienced practitioners and researchers in obstetrics and gynecology, we affirm that direct abortion - the purposeful destruction of the unborn child - is not medically necessary to save the life of a woman.

"We uphold that there is a fundamental difference between abortion, and necessary medical treatments that are carried out to save the life of the mother, even if such treatment results in the loss of life of her unborn child.

"We confirm that the prohibition of abortion does not affect, in any way, the availability of optimal care to pregnant women."

Signatory Dr. Eoghan de Faoite told LifeSiteNews there is a fundamental difference between life saving treatment a woman may need during pregnancy, and abortion, which is the direct and intentional taking of the life of the unborn child.

"The Dublin Declaration clarifies this quite succinctly," he said.

He pointed out that through the Dublin Declaration, obstetricians, gynecologists, neonatologists, pediatricians and other doctors from across the specialties of medicine and surgery testify that a country does not need legalized abortion in order to preserve maternal health and reduce maternal mortality.

"Let us not underestimate the power of such a statement," de Faoite stressed. "This is hugely important to all of us who work to protect women and children from abortion and who seek to make this cruel injustice made illegal, and unthinkable, right across the world."

"The first step towards turning today's society against abortion," de Faoite continued, "is to show them that legal abortion is not needed in maternal healthcare, that is not needed to save women's lives and that banning abortion does not bring about a rise in maternal mortality. This is the sentiment the Dublin Declaration achieves and that fact that it was born in Ireland is also significant."

Today's Birthday

Today's Birthday on the Hill

Almost every day of the year, a member of Congress or a Senator is celebrating a birthday. Let's lift up these men and women, day by day in prayer on their special day, that God might bless them and show them His love for each one. Indeed, let's move together in obedience to the Lord's mandate in I Timothy 2:1-4. It is written:
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."

Today's Birthday Greeting goes to:

Rep. Henry A. Waxman (CA)
