New American Leadership Moves To Weaken National Security
Immediate changes that will be made by the new Democratic leadership will place the United States national security in a vulnerable position and limit the country’s ability to defend itself against terrorism. At the same time the push toward leftist issues targeting American industry, such as global warming, are waiting in the wings to accelerate the United States into the one world order. These, combined with the advancing of normalization of homosexuality, promotion of death culture issues such as embryonic stem cell research and encouraging school children to have abortions, could well signal the rapid decline both spiritually and physically of the world’s only legitimate superpower.
Sources close to leftist California House Speaker- to-be Nancy Pelosi say she plans to make sure Democrats who support strong national security and the war on terror, and have worked with the Republicans to pass defense-related legislation, will be blocked from important committee chairmanships. Already, socialist Democratic cut and run anti- war experts are meeting to develop a strategy to pull out of the war in Iraq. Former Democratic Senator George McGovern is scheduled to meet with the 62- member Congressional Progressive Caucus to recommend a strategy to remove U.S. troops from Iraq by June.
Meantime, Iran has signaled it will continue to develop its nuclear program with a doubling of its uranium enrichment capabilities. Iran and China have worked together to develop a long-range missile capable of delivering multiple cluster bombs that are currently indefensible by American anti-missile defenses. China and Egypt have agreed to a nuclear military cooperation protocol. Hamas, for the first time, has called on its members around the world to attack United States interests. And Russia continues to build its alliances with various terrorist factions such as Iran and Syria.
Leftist California Senator Barbara Boxer said she will accelerate global warming legislation—meaning harsh regulations and taxes on American businesses and cooperation with other nations such as Russia, China, and third world countries on what other Senators have said is the “greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people.” And Pelosi and President Bush have met to discuss the legislative agenda items, among them high on the list is so-called immigration reform—amnesty for illegal aliens. In essence, short sighted voters have opened the flood gates to long term ramifications. The prophet Amos wrote in Amos 9:8, “Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom.” Watch and pray that God has mercy upon us.
