1. Israeli Leader Cancels Meeting After German Official Visits Protest Group - New York Times
JERUSALEM - It was hardly the first time a top-level meeting had been canceled over hard feelings. But when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel called off a session with the German foreign minister here on Tuesday, it seemed a particularly sharp reflection of the tension within Israel, and with its allies, these days.
Israeli and German officials said the cancellation of the top-level meeting planned for later in the day came after the German minister of foreign affairs, Sigmar Gabriel, met with the group Breaking the Silence, which opposes the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
Mr. Netanyahu has accused the group of "slandering" Israeli soldiers.

2. After meeting German FM, B'Tselem calls on world to punish Israel - Times of Israel
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel met with leftwing advocacy groups in Herzliya late Tuesday after defying an ultimatum by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel the meeting.
Shortly after the meeting, one of the groups, B'Tselem, called on the international community to punish Israel for the continued occupation of the West Bank.
Netanyahu issued the ultimatum Tuesday, telling Gabriel that if the foreign minister met Breaking the Silence, B'Tselem and other groups, the prime minister would refuse to meet with Berlin's top diplomat.

3. 'Restore trust between Israel and the PA' - Israel National News
German Deputy Chancellor and Foreign Affairs Minister Sigmar Gabriel visited the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
Gabriel received a comprehensive review of the threats and opportunities on the various fronts from the Institute's experts, headed by Maj. Gen. (res.) Amos Yadlin, and presented the positions of Germany on how to make progress vis-a-vis the Palestinian Authority (PA). Gabriel also wanted to hear from experts at the Institute about ways to make such progress.
"There is a mistaken understanding that if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is resolved, all the problems in the region will be resolved. This is a mistake. The problems in Syria, Iraq, terrorism - will remain here. We know that," he said.

4. Abbas may cut off cash to Gaza, marking break with West Bank - Times of Israel
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is set to issue a dramatic ultimatum to the Gaza Strip's terrorist Hamas rulers, demanding that they either hand over governance of the area or face a funding freeze, sources close to the Palestinian leader said.
Should the PA stop all payments to the Gaza Strip it would mark a complete break between the West Bank, which Abbas controls, and the coastal enclave, which is ruled by Hamas. Needless to say, such an ultimatum would significantly ramp up tensions between Abbas's Fatah party and Hamas.

5. Australia, Israel sign environmental cooperation pact - Jerusalem Post
Sometimes even the closest relationships can be taken to the next level. That's certainly what Josh Frydenberg, Australia's energy and environment minister, hoped to achieve during his recent three-day trip to Israel.
As a follow-up to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to Australia in February, Frydenberg traveled across the country with a delegation of senior clean-tech entrepreneurs to explore what makes the start-up nation tick.
In his series of meetings, the minister found that when it comes to cybersecurity, solar technology, drone technology and agriculture innovation, Israel is the place to be.

Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
1. Expert: North Korea has EMP attack capability - WND
Michael Maloof, former senior security policy analyst in the office of the Secretary of Defense and the author of "A Nation Forsaken," warns North Korea already has the capability to launch a nuclear attack on the United States. "They have the capability, but not in the way the mainstream media talks about it," he told WND. "North Korea still doesn't have a missile capable of reaching the United States, but it doesn't need it."
Maloof explained the North Koreans are known to be able to launch a missile with a satellite on it. Pyongyang currently has two satellites in orbit.
"North Korea could orbit a satellite which would be the size of a nuclear bomb and detonate it upwards of 300 miles above Earth, on command, making North Korea a threat to any country as a result," Maloof said. A nuclear bomb launched from a satellite, he explained, could carry out an EMP, or electromagnetic pulse attack, capable of knocking out the U.S. power grid.
Maloof argues there are signs North Korea already has that capacity. "Now, North Korea has promised weekly missile launches and unless each is shot down upon launch, there is no way to determine whether the payload would be such a satellite which in effect would be a nuclear device. Maloof noted the U.S. doesn't have an anti-missile system "to knock down such a satellite at that altitude, let alone know what the payload is."

2. US sets up missile defense in South Korea as North shows power - Washington Examiner
Hours after a display of North Korean military power, rival South Korea announced Wednesday the installation of key parts of a contentious U.S. missile defense system meant to counter the North.
South Korea's trumpeting of progress in setting up the Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense system, or THAAD, comes as high-powered U.S. military vessels converge on the Korean Peninsula and as a combative North Korea signals possible nuclear and missile testing. North Korea conducted live-fire artillery drills on Tuesday, the 85th anniversary of the founding of its million-person Korean People's Army. On the same day, a U.S. guided-missile submarine docked in South Korea. And the USS Carl Vinson aircraft supercarrier is also headed toward the peninsula for a joint exercise with South Korea.

3. Turkey air strikes on Kurds in Syria and Iraq spark US concern - BBC
The US has expressed "deep concern" at Turkish air strikes that killed about two dozen Kurdish fighters in Syria and Iraq.
The US-backed Popular Protection Units (YPG), fighting against IS, said their positions were hit multiple times. Turkey regards the YPG as linked to outlawed Kurdish separatists. Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga, friendly to Turkey, also reportedly suffered fatalities.
The Iraqi government condemned the strikes carried out on its territory.

4. Venezuelan Church Leaders Ask for Prayers as Dozens Are Killed in Ongoing Political Crisis - Christian Post
Churches are some of the few institutions providing aid to Venezuela's suffering population as the death toll continues to rise in the midst of the country's political crisis which had led to 12 murders this month.
Reuters reported on Tuesday that a 42-year-old local government worker in the Andean state of Merida was shot dead at a rally in favor of President Nicolas Maduro, while another 54-year-old man was shot in the chest and killed during a protest in the western agricultural state of Barinas.

5. White House Touts Trump's Accomplishments During His First 100 Days - CNS News
President Donald Trump accomplished more in his first 100 days than any other president since President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, signing 30 executive orders during the first 100 days, the White House said.
"Despite the historic obstruction by Senate Democrats, he's worked with Congress to pass more legislation in his first 100 days than any President since Truman. And these bills deliver on some of his most significant promises to the American people," White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday.

The Trump administration sharply criticized a judge's decision to block a significant portion of an executive order that the president signed in January which would allow the federal government to withhold funds from cities that shield illegal immigrants.
Press secretary Sean Spicer said the decision by an "unelected judge" who "unilaterally rewrote immigration policy" raises "serious questions about circuit shopping."

President Trump's forthcoming tax plan will be the "biggest" tax cut in history, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Wednesday at an event hosted by The Hill.
Mnuchin provided several clues as to what will be in the package, which will be unveiled later in the day. He confirmed that the proposal would cut tax rates for businesses to 15 percent. That rate would apply to both corporations and owner-operated businesses known as "pass-throughs."

8. Trump prepares to seat Judge Thapar, first of scores of conservatives for federal courts - Washington Times
Fresh off his successful Supreme Court battle, President Trump will now try his luck stocking the federal appeals court with conservative jurists - and Democrats are mostly powerless to stop him.
First up is Judge Amul R. Thapar, whom Mr. Trump has tapped to sit on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and who will sit for his confirmation hearing in the Senate on Wednesday.
Progressive activist groups are preparing for a fight, saying Judge Thapar has several controversial rulings on his record.

9. House GOP prepares for the latest Obamacare repeal compromise - Washington Examiner
Republican lawmakers expect to evaluate a new provision Wednesday on a bill that would repeal portions of Obamacare, though a vote this week appears doubtful given the priority of passing a spending bill.
Some lawmakers said they were confident they could support the latest version of the bill, the American Health Care Act, though it was unclear whether the changes would satisfy enough centrists.

10. Indiana Bill Protects Prayer for Students - Liberty Council
The Indiana Senate and House recently passed a bill that would protect public school students from discrimination when they are praying or engaging in religious activities before, during and after school. HB 2014, sponsored by Rep. John Bartlett, has been sent to Governor Eric Holcomb for signature.
HB 1024 protects the First Amendment rights of students to free speech and religious freedom guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. This bill allows public schools to teach survey courses on world religions and students to pray in school and express their views on God in schoolwork. It allows religious student groups to use school facilities and provides that students may not be discriminated against based on their religion.

The ex "president's" militant arm Antifa
Attorney General Jeff Sessions last week pointed his finger directly at the ex-"president's" Administration and said that the lack of border security and immigration law enforcement allowed the lethal MS13 gang to take root in the US. The Daily Jot has reported in the past how MS13 and the Islamic State have infiltrated the US and work in tandem in drug and human trafficking, death and destruction-both allowed to incubate and mature under the lawlessness promoted by the previous Administration. There is yet another group that not only the previous administration allowed to foment, but that the leftist political machine is utilizing as a militant arm of far-left liberal politics, putting American citizens in harm's way.
Edmond Kozak of PoliZette reports that this militant group ventured into the public in a big way during a pro-Trump free speech rally at the University of California Berkeley campus on April 15. Masked men and women wearing black violently disrupted the Trump rally by throwing bricks and M-80 explosives into the crowd and physically assaulting the Trump supporters. Some footage of the event documented one attacker hitting a peaceful Trump supporter over the head with a bicycle chain and lock. According to The Gateway Pundit, the police chief in Berkeley ordered officers to stand down and allowed the violence. Trump supporters fought back in self-defense and the group, numbering in hundreds, ran away.
Finally, police arrested 23 and confiscated knives, stun guns and poles from the attackers of the militant group that calls itself Antifa. Antifa stands for "anti-fascist action" and, by its own definition, is an organization of anarchists and communists fighting to end fascism. In reality, they are the militant arm of the radical leftists who are protesting President Donald Trump and his Administration. Antifa is working unofficially and deniably in collaboration with the ex-"president's" Organizing for Action, which boasts a following of protesters some 30,000 strong with 250 offices across the country. OFA is the Soros-funded $40 million front group for the ex "president's" shadow government and leads other non-profits in signaling protests across the country. Antifa shows up as the "enforcer" to violently dispirit pro-Constitutional Americans.
Antifa is a terrorist group similar to Hamas, which is one of the militant arms of the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority, for example, poses as the legal representative of the "Palestinian" people, but in reality, it is calling the shots on terrorism in Israel. Antifa is emerging as the shadow government's militant arm. Of course, there is plausible deniability because of the "arm's-length" association with the group. But the members are the same, the beliefs are the same, and the goal is the same-to undermine the US government and foment a socialist takeover of America. This is not a drill. It's real. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Do not be deceived by denials, especially when these people justify violence in the name of protecting social justice and free speech while, in reality, they oppress both.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The shadow government advances
US District Court for the Northern District of California Judge William Orrick III may be a spoke in the wheel of the ex-"president's" shadow government. Orrick Tuesday blocked President Donald Trump's executive order stopping federal funding to sanctuary cities failing to uphold US immigration law. Orrick's decision means that the federal government cannot withhold funding from cities that openly break federal law. Orrick was also the judge that blocked the release of the Planned Parenthood videos that caught representatives of the abortion provider admitting to selling baby parts. He also bundled and contributed over $230,000 to the ex-"president's campaign. The ex-"president" appointed him in May, 2013.
The undermining of the law by Orrick drew a terse and immediate response from the White House. The White House statement said, "Once again, a single district judge -- this time in San Francisco -- has ignored federal immigration law to set a new immigration policy for the entire country...San Francisco, and cities like it, are putting the well-being of criminal aliens before the safety of our citizens, and those city officials who authored these policies have the blood of dead Americans on their hands." The statement, released to the press pool, also said that Orrick's decision was an "egregious overreach by a single unelected district judge" and "raises serious questions about circuit shopping."
Circuit shopping is how the shadow government undermines the law. Leftist attorneys at organizations like the ACLU, CAIR and the Southern Poverty Law Center look for the judges who would be most favorable to their position and seek to put their cases before those judges. They know that the judge, usually appointed by a Democratic President, will twist the law to their favor, or ignore it completely to uphold the leftist need. Both court decisions against Trump's immigration Executive Orders have come from the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Ninth Circuit Court, the most liberal in the nation. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 as amended gives the President authority to determine if the entry of any alien or any class of aliens would be detrimental and to impose any restrictions on their entry he may deem appropriate.
The intent of the law is to allow the President a wide berth on illegal aliens and how they are handled, especially when the national security is at stake. Cities that would willfully disobey the President's authority are breaking the law, irrespective of what some agent of the Marxist shadow government twists words to mean. The White House says that the higher courts will overturn these ridiculous decisions. In the meantime, however, an unelected, politically-appointed leftist judge is undermining the safety, security and general welfare of American citizens. Habakkuk 1:4 says that because strife exists and contention arises, "Therefore the law is slacked, and justice does never go forth: for the wicked does surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds." The shadow government has its wicked agents in place. They should be removed.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

"I Refused to Die": Holocaust Survivor's Stunning Message About the Power of Forgiveness
[Faithwire/CBN News] A Holocaust survivor who was awarded by the governor of Indiana for her advocacy work and her stunning willingness to forgive her Nazi captors delivered a passionate, must-read message to every member of Congress during her acceptance speech last week.
Eva Kor, 83, who was given the Sachem Award by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, the highest award in the state, asked Holcomb during last Thursday's award ceremony to help her get a message to everyone in Congress, WRTV-TV reported.
"I would like to tell them we all must stop fighting with each other and try to help one another," she said to rousing applause. "If they keep fighting, they cannot help the Americans."
And Kor knows a thing or two about forgiveness and kindness, as she and her twin sister Miriam were taken along with their family to Auschwitz back in 1944 when they were just 10 years old. It was there in the concentration camp that they endured the horrors of Dr. Josef Mengele, a German doctor who experimented on Jews.
