A member of the security cabinet and a former IDF general, Gallant continued, stating, "This is a sensitive time and we need to be vigilant in order to prevent it from happening."

6. Israeli prisons prepare for terrorist hunger strike - Israel National News
Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan held a non-scheduled meeting Sunday afternoon ahead of the start of a hunger strike by security prisoners, expected to begin tonight.
According to intelligence sources at the Israel Prison Service, senior Fatah official Marwan Barghouti, imprisoned since 2004 for his involvement in numerous deadly terrorist attacks, is seeking to strengthen his position against PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas through the publicity to be gemerated by the hunger strike.
Erdan's office noted that the Public Security Minister recently examined the prison service's level of preparedness for the hunger strike and ordered the establishment of a field hospital outside the Ketziot Prison to provide a response to the hunger strikers, thus preventing the evacuation of prisoners to civilian hospitals. 7. Azerbaijan wants pan-Arab summit with Israel, envoy says - Jerusalem Post
WASHINGTON - A US-led summit gathering Israel's prime minister and the Palestinian Authority president on one stage with Levant and Gulf leaders would greatly benefit the region, and likely advance a stalled peace process, Azerbaijan's envoy said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.
Israeli officials told the Post last month that the Trump administration is exploring the feasibility of such a summit, which would bring Israel and Sunni leaders from Saudi Arabia and neighboring nations together for the first time.
Egypt and Jordan are reportedly on board with the initiative, as long as Israel informally freezes settlement activity outside of established blocs, the officials said. (Read more)

Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
1. 51.3% vote to grant Turkish PM sweeping powers in final stages of count - Jerusalem Post
ANKARA/ISTANBUL - Votes for constitutional change to hand President Tayyip Erdogan sweeping powers held a narrow lead with almost all ballot boxes opened on Sunday, but Turkey's three largest cities and the mainly Kurdish southeast looked set to vote "No."
"Yes" votes stood at 51.3 percent after 98.2 percent of ballots had been opened for counting, state-run Anadolu news agency said, though a lag between opening and counting them could see the lead tighten further in the final stages.
Erdogan called Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and the leader of the nationalist MHP party, which supported the "Yes" vote, to congratulate them, presidential sources said. They quoted Erdogan as saying the referendum result was clear.
A "Yes" vote would replace Turkey's parliamentary democracy with an all-powerful presidency and may see Erdogan in office until at least 2029, in the most radical change to the country's political system in its modern history. (Read more)
- Holy God, we pray today for the nation of Turkey. Lord, we do not understand the ways of man, but we do know that You are in control of all things. Please protect the people of Turkey, and especially Your church, in the days to come, now that President Erdogan has been granted dictatorial powers as the result of this election. We plea for Your grace to rest upon the people of Turkey today, in Your name, amen.
- "For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations." (Proverbs 22:28)
2. Trump-Abbas White House summit said set for May 3 preceded by a preparatory PA delegation on April 23- Times of Israel
Fatah official says Palestinian leader will be preceded in Washington by a preparatory PA delegation on April 23
A Palestinian official said Sunday that the much-touted first meeting between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and US President Donald Trump will take place on May 3 in the White House.
Senior Fatah official Azzam al-Ahmad also told the Jordanian newspaper Al Ghad that a Palestinian delegation will head to Washington on April 23 for preliminary meetings with the administration.
There was no immediate confirmation of the date from the White House or the Palestinian Authority.
"President Abbas will go to discuss the vital political and economic issue, with an emphasis on confirming the two-state solution, completely ending settlement construction and the occupation, and establishing a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with occupied Jerusalem as its capital," al-Ahmad said. (Read more)
- Father God, we bring this proposed summit before Your Throne of grace, and we ask that only that which You purpose to allow will be done. We ask this in Your name, amen.

3. North Korea missile test: Latest launch 'blew up almost immediately' - Fox News
A North Korean missile fired from the east coast of the country Sunday "blew up almost immediately," officials said. The U.S. Pacific Command said the missile, which came near the city of Sinpo, "blew up almost immediately," but the type of missile was still being assessed.
The failure came one day after Pyongyang celebrated one of the biggest propaganda events of the year - the 105th birthday of the late North Korea founder Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Un's grandfather.
The failed launch also comes ahead of Vice President Pence's arrival in Seoul, South Korea for talks about how to handle Kim's regime. Pence had been in contact with President Trump about the test. Trump did not release a statement on the launch. Defense Secretary Mattis said Trump and his military team "are aware of North Korea's most recent unsuccessful missile launch. The president has no further comment." (Read more)
- "Almighty God, this is Your hand of mercy and power over North Korea's missile program. May the world acknowledge God's intervention and be thankful for Your wisdom in overseeing the affairs of nations around the world. May the nations be humbled before our mighty God and honor be given to You. In the holy Name of Jesus we pray.
- "Let God arise let his enemies be scattered; let them also that hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God." (Psalm 68:1-2)
4. US said preparing strike to 'utterly destroy' N. Korean nuclear program - Times of Israel
On Sunday, the UK's Sunday Times reported that top military advisers to US President Donald Trump have told their British counterparts that Washington was considering a preemptive strike against North Korea's nuclear program, and believed it had the firepower to neutralize it. Citing "senior sources" in the British government, the paper said the US believed it would be able to "utterly destroy" the key installations required to remove the threat the program posed to North Korea's neighbors and the US.
According to the paper, US Defense Secretary James Mattis discussed a US strike on North Korea with his British counterpart, Michael Fallon, some two weeks ago, and similar conversations have been held between British officials and Trump's national security adviser, H.R. McMaster. (Read more)
- Father God, let the enemies of our nation take note. We are no longer hiding in a corner at the news of their threats, but we are coming out swinging, letting the truth of our own nuclear arsenal be revealed. We thank You, Lord, that our strength lies in You, Who has graciously granted us the wisdom to develop these mighty weapons for our protection. In Your Name, amen.
- "But the LORD is with me like a dread champion; Therefore my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed, With an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten." (Jeremiah 20:11)
5. Pence, speaking near the DMZ, delivers strong message to North Korea - Fox News
Vice President Pence warned North Korea Monday the "era of strategic patience is over," expressing impatience with the speed and willingness of the regime to end its nuclear weapons program.
Pence, speaking near the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea, said President Trump is hopeful that China will use its "extraordinary levers" to pressure Pyongyang to abandon its weapons.
"But the era of strategic patience is over," Pence said. "President Trump has made it clear that the patience of the United States and our allies in this region has run out and we want to see change. We want to see North Korea abandon its reckless path of the development of nuclear weapons, and also its continual use and testing of ballistic missiles is unacceptable."
Pence called North Korea's failed missile launch "a provocation." He said the U.S. and its allies will achieve its objectives through "peaceable means or ultimately by whatever means are necessary" to protect Seoul and stabilize the region. (Read more)
- Almighty God, protect our Vice President Mike Pence as he defies the giant Goliath. Guide him by the mighty hand of God in all the negotiations to prevent war. God, guide President Trump as he considers a preemptive strike against North Korea's nuclear program, that he defies the plans of North Korea. Stop the enemies of peace, oh God. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- "It is God that avenges us, and subdues the enemies under us. He delivers us from our enemies: yea, God lifts us up above those that rise up against us: God has delivered us from the violent man. Therefore, will we give thanks unto You, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto Your Name." (Psalm 18:47-49)
6. US Conducts Successful Field Test Of New Nuclear Bomb - Zero Hedge
With the world still abuzz over the first ever deployment of the GBU-43/B "Mother Of All Bombs" in Afghanistan, where it reportedly killed some 36 ISIS fighters, in a less noticed statement the US National Nuclear Security Administration quietly announced overnight the first successful field test of the modernized, "steerable" B61-12 gravity thermonuclear bomb in Nevada.
In a well-timed statement, just as tensions over North Korea's nuclear program and potential US airstrikes run wild, the NNSA said that in conjunction with the US Air Force, it had completed the first qualification flight test of B61-12 gravity nuclear bomb on March 14 at the Tonopah Test Range in Nevada.
In the press release, the NNSA said that the "non-nuclear assembly test" was dropped from an F-16 based at Nellis Air Force Base and was intended to evaluate "both the weapon's non-nuclear functions as well as the aircraft's capability to deliver the weapon." This test was the first of a series that will be conducted over the next three years to qualify the B61-12 for service. Three successful development flight tests were conducted in 2015. (Read more)
- Abba Father, thank You for the protection of our nation as You guide those developing necessary defenses against our enemies. Give the U.S. Your wisdom, knowledge and strength to defend itself and to help its allies from all countries led by evil and egotistical leaders. May You be honored and glorified by the actions of the U.S. giving all the opportunity to come to You for salvation.
- "And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding." (Daniel 2:21)
7. Getting ready: Pentagon to protect electric grid from massive attack - Washington Examiner
Amid warnings that North Korea and Iran have plans to take out parts of the U.S. electric grid through a cyber attack or atmospheric nuclear blast, the Pentagon is taking steps to both protect the nation's communications and power lifeline. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has charged BAE Systems to map a system that can detect a cyber attack and gin up an alternative communications network for military and civilian use if the grid is fried, according to Defense Systems, the online newsletter.
Former CIA Director James Woolsey has been warning for years that the grid is extremely vulnerable, and recently the Pentagon and some states have taken the warning seriously. Woolsey and former EMP Commission chief of staff Peter Vincent Pry have pointed a finger at North Korea, which is now threatening the U.S.
DARPA's focus is on thwarting a cyber attack, but Pry and Woolsey have also warned that North Korea or Iran could attack the grid with an atmospheric nuclear explosion over the East Coast that will disable the grid and that could end up leading to the death of 90 percent of those in the East. (Read more)
- Father God, You know how dependent the U.S is on the electric grid. We pray Psalm 91 over it that no harm will come near it. Give Your supernatural protection over this lifeline. We ask in Your name.
- "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds . . . " (2 Corinthians 10:4)
8. China says North Korea tension has to be stopped from reaching "irreversible" stage - Ynet News
China said on Friday tension over North Korea had to be stopped from reaching an "irreversible and unmanageable stage" as a US aircraft carrier group steamed towards the region amid fears the North may conduct a sixth nuclear weapons test.
Concern has grown since the US Navy fired 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian airfield last week in response to a deadly gas attack, raising questions about US President Donald Trump's plans for North Korea, which has conducted missile and nuclear tests in defiance of UN and unilateral sanctions.
The United States has warned that a policy of "strategic patience" is over. US Vice President Mike Pence travels to South Korea on Sunday on a long-planned 10-day trip to Asia. China, North Korea's sole major ally and neighbour which nevertheless opposes its weapons programme, has called for talks leading to the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. (Read more)
- Almighty God, the heart of North Korea's leader is hard. You can melt the hardest heart. We prayerfully ask that You take to task that leader's heart and bring him in line with You. Thank You for China's influence on that evil man that his plans will fail and he will have total loss of power. Thank You, our loving Father.
- "God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God."
(Psalm 62:11)
9. 'Top Secret' State Dep't Employee Charged With Concealing Contacts With Chinese Agents - CNSNews.com
Candace Marie Claiborne, 60, a long-time employee of the U.S. State Department -- starting in 1999 under the Clinton administration -- was arrested and charged with obstrucing an official proceeding and making false statements about her alleged contacts with agents of Communist China, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced.
Claiborne started at the State Department as an Office Management Specialist and she held a "Top Secret" clearance. Claiborne served in the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations, and in the first two months of the Trump administration. Over the years she held posts at embassies and consulates in Baghdad, Iraq, Khartoum, Sudan, and Beijing and Shanghai, China. She was arrested on March 28, 2017. She can speak Arabic, Chinese and Spanish.
"Candace Marie Claiborne is a U.S. State Department employee who possesses a Top Secret security clearance and allegedly failed to report her contacts with Chinese foreign intelligence agents who provided her with thousands of dollars of gifts and benefits," said Acting Assistant Attorney General Mary McCord in a DOJ statement.
"Claiborne used her position and her access to sensitive diplomatic data for personal profit," said McCord. "Pursuing those who imperil our national security for personal gain will remain a key priority of the National Security Division." (Read more)
- Father in heaven who sees all, hears all, and has ultimate control over all that transcends in the earth, to You do we intercede that Ms. Claiborne will be withheld from having any power or authority in the U.S. State Department, that she be tried and speedily brought to justice as charged, and that all her previous undercover contacts be severed completely. Weed out and expose any and all co-conspirators. We pray in the Name of Jesus and thank You for answering our prayers.
- "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened." (Luke 11:9-10)
10. Trump Signs Resolution Overturning Obama Regulation That Forced States to Fund Planned Parenthood - CNSNews.com
President Donald Trump on Thursday signed H.J. Res. 43, a resolution that overturns former President Barack Obama's regulation forcing states to fund Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, under Title X.
"This resolution that he signed today overturns a regulation that was put in place by the previous administration on their way out the door that would have taken away the right of states to set their own policies and priorities for Title 10 family-planning programs," White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced Thursday.
H.J. Res. 43 brings the total number of Congressional Review Act legislation pieces that the president has signed to 13, Spicer said.
Pro-life groups praised the president's decision.
"This week the pro-life movement had two huge victories: first, the swearing-in of Justice Gorsuch and now, President Trump will undo former President Obama's parting gift to the abortion industry," Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement ahead of the signing Thursday.
"The resolution signed today simply ensures that states are not forced to fund an abortion business with taxpayer dollars. Rather, states have the option to spend Title X money on comprehensive health care clinics that better serve women and girls," said Dannenfelser who was present at the signing.
"We thank President Trump, Vice President Pence, who cast the tie breaking vote last month, as well as the women who led this effort in Congress, Rep. Diane Black and Sen. Joni Ernst," Dannenfelser said. "Prioritizing funding away from Planned Parenthood to comprehensive health care alternatives is a winning issue. We expect to see Congress continue its efforts to redirect additional taxpayer funding away from Planned Parenthood through pro-life health care reform after the spring recess," she added. (Read more)
- Praise God from whom all blessings flow, that millions of babies' lives will be spared from the knives of the abortionists. Thank God for our President Trump's acting against abortion by signing this bill into law, and for this reversal of the evil of the past administration. Father, we pray that there be a healthy mindset given to all to use contraceptives, and even abstinence until marriage in order to not be impregnated and choose to abort unborn babies, thus being guilty of murder. Cleanse the minds of the younger generation to choose what is right. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God." (Romans 14:12)

Working out our salvation
As we Christians celebrate the highest of holy days in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it may well be wise to have some introspect. My son recently sent me an article about the decline of Christianity in our nation. It talked about how only 18% of Millennials find Christianity relevant. It said Christians get enraged at immorality, policy, and the state of affairs in our country and around the world. Yet we are demanding that people hold to moral beliefs as justified by a book that they don't even read. On a day that we commemorate Christ sacrificing his life that all who believe on him may have everlasting life, we Christians, as a whole, should be doing a better job as disciples than what we are doing.
1 Corinthians 5:12 asks, "For what have I to do to judge them also that are outside? do not you judge them that are within?" In direct speak, it means that we have no business holding those who do not know the gospel accountable to our standards. That's why we are exhorted, even commanded, to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey what the Lord has commanded us. We must find ways to make Christianity relevant. It has been tainted to be identified with political ideals, when in reality, the political ideals should be identified with Christianity, foundationally centered on God's love and love for one another. It starts with our individual relationship with the Lord. To look at our families, communities, states, nations from a Christian lens, we should first start by looking in the mirror.
The Apostle Peter wrote in 1 Peter 4:17-19, "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God; and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator." The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 10:13-14, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?"
Jesus said in Matthew 24:23, "Then if any man shall say unto you Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not." Our national identity and, more importantly, our personal salvation is diluted tremendously if we, as Peter put it, "scarcely be saved." If America's preachers are so intent on preaching/teaching a self indulgent, extra Biblical and emotional version of the Christ, then what Christ are we following--the real Son of God, crucified and risen, for our sins, or some humanist version of Christ that fits a social or political extra-biblical gospel? It is here, not on the national policy front, that we as a people have lost our identity. This should be a serious personal consideration that gives weight to working out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Magog, Meshach, Tubal, Persia and Today
A possibly significant prophetic event occurred over the weekend when voters in Turkey passed a referendum to afford the country's president near dictatorial powers by replacing the nation's parliamentary system with a presidential government. Associated Press reports that some 18 changes will "allow the president to appoint ministers, senior government officials and half the members of Turkey's highest judicial body, as well as to issue decrees and declare states of emergency. They set a limit of two five-year terms for presidents." This means that current president Tayyip Erdogan will have over a decade more of power that already has seen Turkey move rapidly toward a radical Islamic state. There are prophetic implications.
Ezekiel 38:2 says, "...set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against them." Magog, Meshech, Tubal are all located in what is now modern Turkey. Verse 5 says, "Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them..." Persia is modern day Iran.Turkey and Iran are rivals as they are positioning for control of the Middle East. We know, however, that Magog (Turkey) eventually leads and Persia follows. These players represent both Shiite and Sunni Muslims who unite against Israel in the "acharit-hayamim," meaning the end of days. God will destroy them with earthquakes, fire and brimstone. Ezekiel 38: 21 says, "...every man's sword shall be against his brother."
Tensions between Iran and Turkey have been increasing as both countries vie for dominance in the region. The Islamic Sunni Turkey, under Erdogan, has become increasingly totalitarian and Shiite Iran is a formidable terrorist sponsoring state working on a very real nuclear program. Turkey has been supporting the terrorist Islamic State, while publicly denying that support, in an effort to block Iran from gaining a stronger foothold in the Middle East. It's a complicated mix of treacherous foreign policy involving Syria, Iran, Turkey, Israel and several outside forces, including Russia, Europe, and the US. Russia is simply supplying weapons and skills to Iran and its vassal state Syria against the Islamic State.
We know what the Bible says is going to happen. For Gog (the antichrist) to lead Magog, Meshech, Tubal, and a broader coalition of what are currently Arab-dominated nations and Persia, against Israel, Persia must submit to Gog. The developments in Turkey bear careful watch as its leader seeks to establish a more radical Sunni state and support actions to impede the Shiite ambitions of Iran. For the end time battle of Ezekiel 38 to play out, there must be an alliance, however fragile it may be, to move against Israel. We know that these nations may hold hate toward one another, but it is a greater hate for Israel that unites them even for just a specific time. Watch Turkey and Iran to see how it all comes together.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near; Praise Him in glad adoration.
Praise to the Lord, who over all things so wondrously reigneth, Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth! Hast thou not seen how thy desires ever have been Granted in what He ordaineth?
Praise to the Lord, who hath fearfully, wondrously, made thee; Health hath vouchsafed and, when heedlessly falling, hath stayed thee. What need or grief ever hath failed of relief? Wings of His mercy did shade thee.
Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee; Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee. Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, If with His love He befriend thee.
Praise to the Lord, who, when tempests their warfare are waging, Who, when the elements madly around thee are raging, Biddeth them cease, turneth their fury to peace, Whirlwinds and waters assuaging.
Praise to the Lord, who, when darkness of sin is abounding, Who, when the godless do triumph, all virtue confounding, Sheddeth His light, chaseth the horrors of night, Saints with His mercy surrounding.
Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore Him! All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him. Let the Amen sound from His people again, Gladly for aye we adore Him.

Wet winter sets precipitation record in Northern California
A series of late-season storms has vaulted this winter into the history books, making it the wettest winter for California's northern Sierra Nevada in nearly a century of record-keeping, according to the California Department of Water Resources.
As of Thursday, an astonishing 89.7 inches of precipitation across a zone of eight stations in the northern Sierra has been recorded since October. That breaks the record 88.5 inches that fell by the in the 1982-83 rainy season.
Sierra Nevada precipitation is significant because the mountain range supplies large amounts of water to the rest of the state.
"When we receive a record amount of rainfall in the north, that translates to everybody who benefits from water down the state," said Doug Carlson, spokesman for the California Department of Water Resources.
The intense winter prompted Gov. Jerry Brown last week to finally declare the drought over in all counties except Fresno, Kings, Tulare and Tuolumne, where diminished groundwater levels still require a need for emergency drinking water.
But right now, the above-ground water supply is much improved for most parts of the state. (LA Times) Read more.

Meet a Modern-Day Joseph of Arimathea:
"No One's Telling Me to be Quiet at the Grave"
She's not certified. She's not equipped. She just said "yes."
Linda Znachko is a modern-day Joseph of Arimathea, the wealthy man who approached an elected official to ask if Jesus could be buried in His own tomb.
Znachko has her own plot of land at a cemetery where she buries her babies. Each of these children was abandoned by his or her birth mother, and Znachko claims them in death.
"'We're going on a walk,'" Znachko remembers the Lord telling her after she heard of her second abandoned baby in need of final resting arrangements. "He said,' I'm inviting you into something. I'm going to give you revelation after revelation. Nothing will be clear-cut, there's no five-year plan. It's going to be messy, but it's going to unfold.'"
That was almost a decade ago.
In 2009, Znachko saw media coverage about a baby abandoned in a dumpster in her home state of Indiana. She called the coroner and asked how she could help. Before Znachko would be granted the legal rights to bury the boy she'd named Nicholas, an investigation must occur.
Znachko thought it was a one-time thing, but during the investigation of Nicholas' abandonment, Znachko heard about baby Zachary. His mother was homeless and had no resources to bury her son. Znachko stepped in.
"As I stood over baby Zachary's casket, I remembered God had given me a vision that I was going to stand over a little white casket," Znachko says. "I thought it was Nicholas, but those senses and impressions weren't panning out. I thought that none of this makes sense, but when you try to make sense of the supernatural, you miss out . . . This opportunity God was giving me in this little window of time was to rescue children in His name, to claim them in His name, because they are His little children."
