1. Cameron blasts 'genuinely shocking' Israeli 'occupation' - Israel National News
British Prime Minister David Cameron used particularly harsh language against Israel's presence in eastern Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria which were liberated during the 1967 Six Day War.
Speaking at Parliament, Cameron branded Israel's construction of new communities in these areas as "genuinely shocking", The Independent reported.
The Prime Minister said that though he was a strong supporter of Israel, he had been taken aback by what had seen first hands on visits to Jerusalem.
"I am well-known as being a strong friend of Israel but I have to say the first time I visited Jerusalem and had a proper tour around that wonderful city and saw what has happened with the effective encirclement of East Jerusalem - occupied East Jerusalem - it is genuinely shocking," he was quoted by The Independent as having told MPs in the House of Commons.

2. Netanyahu shoots back at Cameron over Jerusalem comments - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired back at his British counterpart David Cameron on Thursday, saying Europe should remember that Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem prevents Islamic State and Hamas from burning holy sites in the capital, as they have done elsewhere.
Netanyahu's sharp comment at a Likud political gathering in Ofakim came in response to statements made Wednesday by Cameron in Parliament, slamming Israel's policies in the capital.
"I am well known for being a strong friend of Israel, but I have to say the first time I visited Jerusalem and had a proper tour around that wonderful city and saw what has happened with the effective encirclement of east Jerusalem - occupied east Jerusalem - I found it genuinely shocking," Cameron said during a question period.

3. Yemen government says Hezbollah backing Houthi rebels - Times of Israel
ADEN, Yemen - Yemen's embattled government accused Lebanon's Hezbollah Shiite militia on Wednesday of sending fighters to support Iran-backed Houthi rebels controlling parts of the war-ravaged country including the capital.
The government has evidence of "Hezbollah's involvement in the Houthi war against the Yemeni people," its spokesman Rajih Badi said in a statement published by the official Saba Net website.
Hezbollah militants are present in "the battlefields along the border with Saudi Arabia," where attacks from Yemen have killed about 90 civilians and soldiers in the kingdom since March last year, said Badi.

4. Gazans said streaming into Sinai to fight with Islamic State - Times of Israel
Despite Egypt's relentless efforts to seal off its side of the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, a steady if light stream of Gazans are managing to leave the Strip and join the ranks of Islamic State fighters locked in combat with Egyptian forces in the Sinai, sources in the Strip said Thursday.
The Gaza fighters are crossing mainly via the last few tunnels still connecting the Sinai Peninsula to Gaza. Egypt has closed most of the smuggling tunnels in recent years.
Some of those crossing to join IS have fought against Israel in the past, either as members of Hamas or of Salafi-jihadist terror groups, the sources said.

5. Israel cooperation puts Palestinian forces in tough spot - Times of Israel
AMALLAH, West Bank (AP) - It was nearly 2 a.m. when Amjad Sallaj heard a loud explosion outside his home. In a matter of seconds, Israeli troops burst into the building, ransacking apartments in a door-to-door search for wanted Palestinian fugitives.
When the raid was over, the apartments had been trashed, furniture destroyed and Sallaj's 30-year-old son, Ahmad, had been taken into custody.
Palestinian Authority officials say that such raids, carried out in PA-controlled territory, have become a daily occurrence since a wave of violence erupted five months ago - undermining the public's trust in their own security forces and jeopardizing one of the last areas of official contact between Israel and the Palestinians.

6. Netanyahu appoints new national security adviser - Israel Hayom
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday named Brig. Gen. (ret.) Avriel Bar-Yosef as the new national security adviser and director of the National Security Council. Bar-Yosef will replace Yossi Cohen, who was appointed Mossad director in January.
"Brig. Gen. (ret.) Bar-Yosef has considerable and rich security and diplomatic experience both in the IDF and the National Security Council," Netanyahu said in a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office. "Given the complex challenges facing the State of Israel, I am certain that as NSC director, he will know how to use his experience and talents for the benefit of Israel's security."
The National Security Council, which is part of the Prime Minister's Office, is tasked with analyzing information from all branches of the defense establishment and presenting it to the prime minister and the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet.

7. Health Minister Litzman likens gays to sinners as Knesset votes down LGBT rights bills -Jerusalem Post
The opposition put a series of gay rights bills to a vote Wednesday, hoping to embarrass coalition members who took an active part in the Knesset's first-ever LGBT Rights Day the day before.
Bills proposed by Zionist Union and Meretz MKs allowing gay civil unions and same-sex couples to adopt, educating health professionals about gender identity and sexual orientation, prohibiting "conversion therapy" aimed at changing someone's sexual orientation, and giving samesex partners of an IDF soldier killed in action the benefits heterosexual widows or widowers would get were all voted down in preliminary readings.
In some of the cases, the responding government representative pointed out that the Ministerial Committee for Legislation had not yet voted on the bill. In other words, it could have had a chance to pass, had the opposition MKs waited.

2. UN Security Council votes in support of Syrian cease-fire scheduled to take effect - Fox News
The United Nations Security Council voted unanimously in support of a planned cease-fire in Syria Friday, calling on the "hostilities" to stop.
The U.S. and Russia drafted the plan, which U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power said included "practical, concrete steps . . . to reduce the violence and create space for a long-overdue political transition." She admitted that the cease-fire would not include terror groups such as the Islamic State.
It was set to take effect at 5 p.m. local time Friday in New York, midnight in Syria. Peace talks would resume March 7 if the cease-fire "largely holds," according to Staffan de Mistura, U.N. Special Envoy for Syria. (Read more)

3. Obama Orders Acceleration of War Against ISIS - ABC News
President Obama ordered his national security team to "continue accelerating" the U.S.-led military campaign against the Islamic State "on all fronts." Obama convened a meeting with his National Security team today at the State Department as diplomats grapple over the details of a cessation of hostilities in Syria.
"This is a tough situation with a lot of moving parts," Obama said of a tenuous cessation of hostilities in Syria's civil war.
"If implemented, and that's a significant if, the cessation could reduce the violence and get more food and aid to Syrians who are suffering and desperately need it," Obama said. "It could save lives. Potentially, it could also lead to negotiations on a political settlement to end the civil war so that everybody can focus their attention on destroying ISIL [or ISIS] and that's why the United States will do everything we can to maximize chance of success in this cessation of hostilities." - Father, again we come to You as our Commander-in-Chief, and God of effective military strategies, and we ask for wisdom to be given to this president concerning accelerating the war against ISIS "on all fronts". 4. U.S. test-fires ICBMs to stress its power to Russia, North Korea - Reuters
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. The U.S. military test-fired its second intercontinental ballistic missile in a week on Thursday night, seeking to demonstrate its nuclear arms capacity at a time of rising strategic tensions with Russia and North Korea.
The unarmed Minuteman III missile roared out of a silo at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California late at night, raced across the sky at speeds of up to 15,000 mph (24,000 kph) and landed a half hour later in a target area 4,200 miles (6,500 km) away near Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands of the South Pacific.
Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work, who witnessed the launch, said the U.S. tests, conducted at least 15 times since January 2011, send a message to strategic rivals like Russia, China and North Korea that Washington has an effective nuclear arsenal.
"That's exactly why we do this," Work told reporters before the launch.
"We and the Russians and the Chinese routinely do test shots to prove that the operational missiles that we have are reliable. And that is a signal ... that we are prepared to use nuclear weapons in defense of our country if necessary." (Read more)

Again, we would ask for supernatural wisdom in the use of these weapons, and the timing of that use. 5. North Korea Threatens 'U.S. Mainland' in Response to Largest-Ever Joint Drill on Border - Breitbart
he doom of the U.S. has been sealed.' So reads a statement on North Korea's official state media outlet, warning Pyongyang will attack the 'U.S. Mainland' if American and South Korean forces complete a military drill simulating the collapse of the Kim Jong-un regime in March.
'All the service personnel and people of the DPRK are ready to immediately and mercilessly punish without slightest leniency, tolerance and patience anyone provoking the dignified supreme headquarters even a bit,' a statement at the Korean Central News Agency's (KCNA) website read Tuesday, in response to the news that the United States and South Korea are preparing for a military drill that will have 300,000 soldiers simulating an invasion of North Korea. Pyongyang did not limit their rhetoric to vague proposals for attacking both countries, instead highlighting specifically what their first and second targets of attack will be should the military drill occur.
'Our primary target is the Chongwadae [the residence and office of South Korea's president], the centre for hatching plots for confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north, and reactionary ruling machines,' the statement read. 'The U.S. imperialist aggressor forces' bases for invading the DPRK in the Asia-Pacific region and the U.S. mainland are its second striking target,' it adds.
'The U.S. is fated to be punished and perish in the flames due to the DPRK's deadly strikes,' the statement concludes. (Read more)
- Father God, only You can intervene to calm the tense nerves of the leaders in North Korea, South Korea, China and the U.S. in what continues to be an escalation of potential war maneuvers in this region of the world. We ask for Your Hand to help us to de-escalate that tension, in Your name, amen.
- " For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation . . ." (Eph. 2:14)
6. Air Force unveils initial B-21 long range bomber design - Fox News
The U.S. Air Force has unveiled the first concept image of its futuristic B-21 long range bomber, which will be built by Northrop Grumman. Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James revealed the artist's rendering at the Air Force Association's Air Warfare Symposium in Orlando, Fla., Friday. There are no existing prototypes of the aircraft, so the artist's rendering is based on its initial design concept.
Known as the Long Range Strike Bomber (LRS-B) until now, the designation B-21 recognizes the aircraft as the military's first bomber of the 21st century, according to the Air Force. James said the B-21 will let the Air Force launch from the continental U.S. and deliver airstrikes on any location in the world. The Air Force Secretary also acknowledged the B-21's resemblance to the current B-2 stealth bomber, which is also made by Northrop Grumman. "The B-21 has been designed from the beginning based on a set of requirements that allows the use of existing and mature technology," she said. (Read more)

7. Judge rules against Obama on 'Fast and Furious' - The Hill
A federal judge on Tuesday ruled President Obama cannot use executive privilege to keep records on the "Fast and Furious" gun-tracking program from Congress. U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered the administration to release documents that it has been attempting to withhold by asserting executive privilege. The ruling also requires the administration to release to Congress all "segregable portions" of records they are withholding that are considered "attorney-client privileged material, attorney work product, private information, law enforcement sensitive material, or foreign policy sensitive material."
Operation Fast and Furious was launched by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The gun-running operation, which lasted from 2009 to 2011, resulted in the ATF losing over a thousand firearms. Two of those weapons were linked to the 2010 murder of a Border Patrol agent in Arizona. Many of the weapons are suspected to have landed in the hands of Mexican drug cartels.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that brought the lawsuit, lauded the ruling on Tuesday. "Today's decision will help us advance the Fast & Furious investigation into this administration's gun running operation," he said in a statement. "After allowing guns to walk, the administration's attempt to hide behind executive privilege only adds insult to injury. While the decision doesn't give us access to all the documents, it is an important step forward. We will continue investigating until we get to the truth." (Read more)
- Father, we say Hallelujah to this wonderful news, and we thank You for it! We pray that every rock will be uncovered, and that You would expose all things that are hidden or secret, and bring them out into the light, and be dealt with. We pray that there be no appeal of this judge's order, and that truth will prevail. We pray that those who have been complicit in any crimes here will be held accountable. In Your precious Name, we pray. Amen.
- "Everything that is hidden will be shown, and everything that is secret will be made known. What you have said in the dark will be will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in an inner room will be shouted from the housetops." (Luke 12:2,3)
8. Senators Introduce Bill to 'Ensure Prompt Return of Unaccompanied Alien Children' - CNSNews.com
Senators Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) introduced a bill that would "ensure a prompt return of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) who illegally cross the southern border" after their numbers more than doubled during the first four months of the current fiscal year.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, there was a 102 percent increase in the number of unaccompanied alien children (20,455) who were apprehended at the southwest border between Oct. 1, 2015 and Jan. 31, 2016 compared to 10,105 apprehended during the same time period in FY2015.
However, less than four percent (4,680) of the 127,193 UACs who have been caught illegally entering the U.S. over the past two and a half years have been sent back home because the vast majority do not show up for their deportation hearings, Sessions noted during a Judiciary Committee hearing held earlier this week.
"Nobody's looking for them. The system is not working. All you have to do is just come into the country unlawfully, be released into the country, and if you don't show up for court, you're never looked for and deported," the senator pointed out.
The Protection of Children Act of 2016 (S.2561) "amends the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 to provide expedited processing for unaccompanied alien children who are not victims of a severe form of trafficking in persons and who do not have a fear of returning to their country of nationality or last habitual residence," according to a press release from Sessions' office. - Father, we thank You that Senator Sessions has introduced this bill, for the good of our nation and of these "children." Lord God, only You know the truth that surrounds the entry of each of these illegal youths into our country, and we ask Your grace as the authorities escort them out again. We ask for passage of this bill when it is voted upon shortly in the Senate Judiciary Committee and later by the full Senate. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

10. Atheist Group Abandons Fight Against 'Big Mountain Jesus' on Montana Ski Slopes - CNS News
A statue of Jesus dubbed "Big Mountain Jesus," which stands on a Montana ski slope as a World War II Memorial, is nowsafe from removal attempts by the atheist group, The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), which claims that the statue's presence on federal land violates the First Amendment.
The monument was erected by the Knights of Columbus in 1954 on Montana land with a permit from the U.S. Forest Service. World War II veterans who were also members of the Knights of Columbus commissioned the statue in memory of their fallen comrades, and to remind themselves of religious shrines they saw in Europe. Gun related deaths and the facts
The Second Amendment to the US Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." In the early days of the nation, the Founding Fathers were terribly concerned that any government formed would become a tyranny such as that of Britain. Britain's military was brutal on the colonists. The Founders did not want this repeated. In fact, they did not want a standing army during peacetime. They believed it was the duty and honor of every citizen to defend the homeland and their property during times of armed crisis. They also believed that an armed citizenry would keep government in check. (Read more)

Trump: As president, I can't take Israel's side - WND
Cruz, Rubio explode on GOP kingpin: 'Have you ever negotiated with terrorists?'
Editor's comment:
We continue to "stand down" from covering the play-by-play in this election cycle, trusting that you are each following this news, and praying, on your own. However, there remains one issue which is the plumbline to all the rest, and that is the issue of America's foreign policy towards Israel.
Last night's debate gave some very revealing information on where the Republican candidates now stand regarding this issue. We quote excerpts from that debate, below, followed by our own intercession over this critical matter.
The original article is from WorldNetDaily and can be found by going here. Thank you.
During a wildly animated GOP debate Thursday evening, GOP front-runner Donald Trump asserted that, as president, he cannot side with Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict because doing so would "demean" Palestinians.
Trump's comments brought an onslaught of criticism from Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, both of whom vowed to stand by Israel.
CNN's Wolf Blitzer moderated the debate, and Telemundo's Maria Celeste Arraras, Salem talk-radio host Hugh Hewitt and CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash asked questions of the candidates.
During the debate, Blitzer began a round of questions on foreign policy by addressing the conflict between the Palestinians and Israelis. He quoted Trump as having previously said, "Let me be sort of a neutral guy. I don't want to say whose fault it is. I don't think it helps."
Blitzer then asked Trump, "How do you remain neutral when the U.S. considers Israel to be America's closest ally in the Middle East?"
"Well, first of all I don't think they do under President Obama, because I think he has treated Israel horribly," began Trump. "Alright? I think he's treated Israel horribly."
Trump added, "I was the Grand Marshal down Fifth Avenue a number of years ago for the Israeli Day parade. I have very close ties to Israel. I've received the Tree of Life Award and many of the greatest awards given by Israel. As president, however, there's nothing that I would rather do [than] bring peace to Israel and its neighbors."
He then insisted, "I think it serves no purpose to say you have a good guy and a bad guy."
"Now, I may not be successful in doing it. It's probably the toughest negotiation of anywhere in the world, of any kind, OK? But, it doesn't help if I start saying I'm very pro-Israel, very pro-Israel, more than anybody on this stage. But it doesn't do any good to start demeaning the neighbors. Because I would love to do something with regard to negotiating peace, finally, for Israel and for their neighbors."
Trump said he can't do that as a negotiator while taking sides.
Cruz then responded, "This is another area on which Donald agrees with Hillary Clinton. And on which I disagree with them both strongly. Both Donald and Hillary Clinton want to be 'neutral,' to use Donald's word, between Israel and the Palestinians.
"Let me be clear, if I'm president, America will stand unapologetically with the nation of Israel. The notion of neutrality is based upon the left buying into this moral relativism that is often pitched in the media. Listen, it is not equivalent. When you have terrorists strapping dynamite around their chests, exploding and murdering innocent women and children, they are not equivalent to the IDF officers protecting Israel. And I will not pretend that they are.
Blitzer asked Rubio what's wrong with the U.S. being an "honest broker" in negotiations, as Trump has proposed.
"Because, I don't know if Donald realizes this, I'm sure it's not his intent, perhaps, but the position you've taken is an anti-Israel position, and here's why," Rubio said.
"You cannot be an honest broker in a dispute between two sides in which one of the sides is constantly acting in bad faith. The Palestinian Authority has walked away from multiple efforts to make peace, very generous offers from the Israelis.
"Instead, here's what the Palestinians do: They teach their four-year-old children that killing Jews is a glorious thing. Here's what Hamas does: They launch rockets and terrorist attacks against Israel on an ongoing basis.
"The bottom line is, a deal between Israel and the Palestinians, given the current makeup of the Palestinians, is not possible. And, so the next president of the United States needs to be someone like me, who will stand firmly on the side of Israel.
"I'm not going to sit here and say I'm not on either side. I will be on Israel's side every single day because they are the only pro-American, free-enterprise democracy in the entire Middle East."
Rubio charged, "He thinks (negotiating with) the Palestinians is a real-estate deal."
- Father, we thank You for the positions expressed by both Cruz and Rubio regarding standing with Israel. Clearly, Mr. Trump does not seem to truly understand the gravity of what is happening in Israel, and the need for our nation to be supportive of her. Israel is the "Apple of Your Eye", Your chosen people, and the only pro-American, free-enterprise democracy in the Middle East. We pray for her protection, and we pray that the next president will be very supportive and wise in dealing with the nation of Israel. Thank You for bringing this to our attention. In Your Name we pray, Amen.
"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls, and security within your citadels." (Genesis 12:2,3;Psalm 122:6,7)

Pakistani Christian Asylum Seekers Failed by U.N. and Thailand
A BBC investigation has found that Thailand, a country known for its hospitality to tourists, routinely arrests and detains asylum seekers. Many are Pakistani Christians who have fled religious persecution in their own country. Some are children. And they are held despite being UN-registered asylum seekers, whom the UN is under a duty to protect.
The sound of the faithful in prayer and song bursts out of a small rented room where a congregation of more than 100 people have gathered for Sunday mass.
They would be risking their lives to worship like this in their homeland, where Islamist extremists force Christians to convert, or even kill them.

Hail the day that sees Him rise, Alleluia! To His throne above the skies, Alleluia! Christ, awhile to mortals given, Alleluia! Reascends His native heaven, Alleluia!
There the glorious triumph waits, Alleluia! Lift your heads, eternal gates, Alleluia! Christ hath conquered death and sin, Alleluia! Take the King of glory in, Alleluia!
Circled round with angel powers, Alleluia! Their triumphant Lord, and ours, Alleluia! Conqueror over death and sin, Alleluia! "Take the King of glory in! Alleluia!"
