GOD SENDS A SIGN OF LIFE IN THE SKIES OVER ISRAEL

Amazing. Above Israel, "Chai" shines -- the Hebrew symbol of life!

In the skies over Israel recently, a day of stabbings and terror in Israel -- above Nahariya -- the sun shone through the clouds. It made the shape of "Chai" -- the Hebrew symbol for Life.

The enemies of Israel wish for death. Yet Israel survives because Israel receives life from the God of Israel.

Am Yisrael Chai!

> > > Please note that "Am Yisrael Chai" are the same words that PM Benjamin Netanyahu spoke in Hebrew in his fiery warning to the members of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Thursday, October 1, 2015.

1. PM freezes appointment of spokesman who accused Obama of anti-Semitism - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday night put Ran Baratz's appointment as his new media chief on hold, after past Facebook posts he had written insulting US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry became headline fodder around the world.

Baratz had described Obama actions as "modern anti-Semitism," referred to Kerry as someone "whose mental age doesn't exceed 12" and charged that President Reuven Rivlin is unworthy to hold office.

The posts threatened to cast a pall on Netanyahu's visit to Washington next week, when he is scheduled to hold his first face-to-face meeting with Obama in a year.

2. Israeli-Arab woman 'sent by Gazan group to carry out terror attacks in Israel' - Jerusalem Post

Security forces on Thursday arrested a 40-year-old Israeli- Arab woman and mother of seven in October at the Erez border crossing. She was indicted for spying and entering Israel from Gaza, to carry out terrorist attacks on behalf of a jihadist organization.

The woman from Haifa, Nasrin Hassan Abdullah Hassan, married a Gazan resident 15 years ago, and had been living in the Strip and moving back and forth in recent years.

She was arrested last month, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) said on Thursday, after trying to cross into Israel.

3. 'Egypt has done more damage to Gaza tunnels in a few weeks than Israel did in 2 decades' - Jerusalem Post

GAZA - Mahmoud Bakeer speaks with despair about the night of the flash flood, when he screamed at his wife and five children to flee their home on Gaza's border with Egypt as the water rushed in.

They made it to safety during the flooding last week, but a network of Palestinian tunnels running under the frontier town of Rafah is now water-logged, destroyed by Cairo to sever what it says is a weapons smuggling route out of Gaza for Islamist insurgents in Egypt's Sinai desert.

4. Danon asks UN to condemn organ-harvesting 'blood libel' - Jerusalem Post

NEW YORK -Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon called on Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to condemn the recent Palestinian accusations that Israel harvested the organs of Palestinians killed in October.

Palestinian representative at the UN Riyad Mansour wrote a letter to British Ambassador Matthew Rycroft, the president of the Security Council for November, earlier this week, seeking to "draw attention to the grave situation in Occupied Palestine, including East Jerusalem."

5. Report: PLO threatens to end recognition of Israel - Jerusalem Post

The Palestine Liberation Organization is threatening to withdraw recognition of Israel, its most senior peace negotiator told an Arab newspaper on Thursday.

Saeb Erekat, who recently took over as secretary-general of the PLO, is quoted by Al-Quds al-Arabi as saying that a decision on reversing recognition of Israel - which was enshrined in a 1993 exchange of letters between the respective Israeli and Palestinian leaders at the time, Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat - will be made after PA President Mahmoud Abbas completes a round of consultations with Arab leaders this month.

Prior to the signing of the Oslo Accords, the PLO had refused to recognize Israel since the Zionist state was founded in 1948.

Abbas is due to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Sunday before continuing to Saudi Arabia, where a conference of Arab League foreign ministers is scheduled to convene next week.

6. Major crossing closed after spate of terror attacks - Israel Hayom

The Defense Ministry on Tuesday temporarily shut down the Gilboa-Jalame crossing north of the Palestinian city of Jenin, citing security concerns.

With thousands of people, vehicles and supply trucks passing through it daily, the crossing is one of the busiest gateways between Israel and Judea and Samaria.

The Defense Ministry's Crossing Authority said "security directives issued following a series of terrorist attacks" were the reason behind the decision to close the crossing.

1. Obama rules out Israeli-Palestinian peace deal before leaving office - Times of Israel

US officials say president has made 'realistic assessment'; will discuss steps to prevent further violence with Netanyahu on Monday.

The stark assessment comes ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the White House on Monday - the first meeting between the two leaders in more than a year. Preparation for that meeting has been overshadowed by Netanyahu's appointment of a new media chief, Ran Baratz, who has previously branded Obama an anti-Semite and mocked Secretary of State John Kerry. Netanyahu was Thursday night said to have told Kerry that he was reviewing the appointment.

~O God of Israel, we ask for a calming of nerves, and cool heads, as these two world leaders "spar" over Your land. We know that our president has an anti-Israel bias, and we, as Your people stand with Israel. We especially pray for a new president who will truly love You and Israel in our next elections. We ask for protection over little Israel, and Your favor for all who treat her well. Truly Your Word is true. Protect PM Netanyahu while he is here in the U.S. and grant him favor with Mr. Obama, which, is something only You can do. In Your Name we pray, Amen.

-"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:3, 9)

2. Netanyahu to Visit White House Next Week - Bloomberg

Netanyahu Is Bringing a $4.5 Billion-a-Year Arms Wish List to Obama

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returns to the White House on Monday seeking to boost annual U.S. military aid to an estimated $4.5 billion and, his former ambassador to Washington says, unapologetic about trying to sink the U.S.-led Iran nuclear deal. "It's not going to be warm and fuzzy," said Michael Oren, an Israeli lawmaker who was Netanyahu's U.S. envoy for five years. "It's about what we need to defend ourselves and what we need to deter Iran."

Netanyahu's March 3 speech to the Republican-led Congress opposing the Iran accord so strained ties with President Barack Obama that he was told he wouldn't be welcome at the White House. Now that the deal has been approved, both men have reasons to focus during this visit on areas of agreement, such as strengthening Israel's defense capabilities. Few expect resolution of their ideological differences over Iran and peace efforts with the Palestinians before Obama's term ends.

~Father, we praise You that You are the God of miracles, and so we come to You now, asking for a major one. There has been so much tension and acrimony between these two men; so we ask that they are able to put those things aside and do what is best for Israel. We ask that favor would be shown to Netanyahu, and that his request for military aid be granted. Give them both wisdom, mercy, and grace, in Yeshua's Name we pray, Amen.

-"But Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God." (Matthew 19:26)

3. Lawmakers Pledge Close Scrutiny of Obama's TPP Trade Deal - VOA

The Obama administration has released the full text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership fu trade agreement, launching what is expected to be a fierce battle in the U.S. Congress over the controversial 12-country Pacific Rim trade accord.

Under the terms of so-called "fast-track" legislation passed by Congress earlier this year, Congress now has 90 days to study, deliberate and debate the details of the trade deal, known as the TPP, before holding votes on whether to ratify it in the House and Senate.

No amendments are allowed, and only a simple majority is required to ratify the deal in each chamber.

Ryan Reserves Judgment

New House Speaker Paul Ryan, a Republican, said trade is essential for the United States, and the U.S. should be at the table to help make the rules. But Ryan said members of Congress will need time to read and review the expansive 30-chapter deal, which is hundreds of pages long.

Asked if he supports it, Ryan said, "I don't know the answer to what my position is on a trade agreement I have not even yet read."

He added, "But again, I am pleased with the process we have coming before us."

Democratic Representative Sander Levin said: "It is vital that we use this 90-day review period - established for the very purpose of evaluating the agreement before the President signs it - to dig into the details and engage in a vigorous back-and-forth."

The TPP was negotiated between the United States and 11 other nations- Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam. When combined, these countries account for about 40 percent of global economic output. The partnership would create the world's biggest free trade bloc and serve as President Barack Obama's crowning achievement in international community.
- Abba, we bring this whole issue to You for Your consideration, and that You would give wisdom to Congress as they consider their votes. We ask that Your will would be done. You rule the nations, and we thank You that You watch over all that concerns all nations of the earth. Lord, help our Congress know how to vote on this issue, that would best protect and help us, and all the Pacific Rim nations particularly. We thank You for Your guidance. Amen.

- "So I will praise You, Lord, among the nations. I will sing praises to Your name." (Psalm 18:49)

4. Obama rejects Keystone Pipeline - The Hill

President Obama on Friday rejected the application to build the Keystone XL pipeline, bringing an end to the seven-year saga over the controversial plan to transport oil sands from Canada to the Gulf Coast.

"The State Department has decided that the Keystone XL pipeline would not serve the national interest of the United States. I agree with that decision," Obama said at the White House.

The rejection of Keystone delivers huge victory to environmental groups, who fought the project every step of the way, and a stinging defeat to Republicans and some Democrats on Capitol Hill who had championed the pipeline as a jobs-creator.
- Lord, You know what impact this pipeline would make, and if it is a good thing or not, and so we ask that Your will and Your plan and purpose would be done. It looks like the environmental lobbyists have won, and doesn't seem to have any place for further discussion. So, we ask that this would take its place among Your plans and purposes for the good of our nation. We know nothing is impossible with You, and if this needs to be reversed, You can do that, perhaps under a future administration. We trust You and that You do all things well. In Your Name we pray, Amen.

-"I will give them a place famous for its good crops, so they will no longer suffer from hunger in the land. They will not suffer the insults of other nations anymore." (Ezekiel 34:29)

5. Did a Bomb On Board Bring Down Russian Airliner? - Breaking Christian News

"We have concluded that there is a significant possibility that the crash was caused by an explosive device on board the aircraft," UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond told reporters after the government's crisis response committee met late on Wednesday. The BBC went on to say that he said Britain was suspending all flights to and from Sharm el-Sheikh indefinitely, and UK nationals already there would be helped to leave once extra security measures were put in place. Earlier, Prime Minister David Cameron's office said UK aviation experts had been sent to Sharm el-Sheikh to assess the security situation there.

~Father, we come to You concerning the downing of this Russian Airliner over the Sinai. We ask that the complete truth would come to be known, and ask for Your wisdom to be given to the nations in their response to this tragedy. We pray for the comfort of all those who grieve over this loss of life, and that somehow You would bring some good out of this terrible occurrence. We ask that the perpetrators be revealed, if there was foul play here, and give Your wisdom regarding avoiding such an occurrence in the future. In Your Name we pray, Amen.

Prophecy, The Assyrian, antichrist, Gog, Beast

As we eye the coalition of forces gathered and battling in Syria, many are pointing to end time prophecy, and rightly so. Christ said in Matthew 24:5-8, "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." While we may not be quite in the beginning of sorrows, there is deception, wars, rumors of wars. We are seeing signs of those things that must come to pass.

Again, I direct your attention to Christ's words when he was asked by his disciples about the sign of his coming and the end of the world. He began to answer in Matthew 24:4 with "Take heed that no man deceive you." Then he explained what would happen during the times leading up to the end, and in the end. His account is precisely in alignment with the prophets of the Old Testament, the Apostle Paul, and the Revelation of John. We know that God is not the author of confusion. But there is great confusion among men about the end times. Some believe all prophecy has been fulfilled, others believe they are establishing the Kingdom on earth, still others believe much prophecy is yet to be fulfilled.

End time prophecy is full of foreshadowing, partial fulfillments and precursors. Throughout history, there has been rise and fall of those who were types of the end time apocalyptic figure--what Christians call the "antichrist," what Holy Scripture calls the "beast" or, more specifically, the "Assyrian." This antichrist figure is alluded to as the Assyrian in Isaiah 10:5,10:24,14:25, 19:23, 30:31, 31:8, Micah 5:5-6, and Hosea 11:5. Ezekiel refers to him as Gog, chief Prince of Magog. The Lord speaks of the Assyrian or Gog in Ezekiel 38:17, "Art you he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring ye against them?"

If you are watching events unfold and are curious as to their prophetic implications, be encouraged. Study the prophets. Understand that they all tell a consistent story and it is true and, quite frankly, clear. Where the confusion comes in is man's interpretation, self-made doctrines, suppositions, if-then statements and so on. And much of prophecy is misunderstood because the teachers of the teachers didn't make it a priority. Bible prophecy is not something that you can just skim over and think you have it. It takes a lot of study, a lot of effort, and an understanding that we may not have all the pieces until they are revealed. One thing for certain, every day brings us closer to how these prophecies will specifically play out.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

ISIS Unleashes Death Squad To Murder Christians In Syria

Radical Muslim terror group ISIS/ISIL is reported to have unleashed its death squad to hunt down and murder Christian refugees in Syrian refugee camps, reported Breaking News Israel. The death squad is the latest horrific tactic employed by the Muslim radicals to eliminate Christians in the region and establish a conservative Muslim society.

The report was quoting a forming former Islamic State jihadi who claimed that he was sent to one of the refugee camps to carry out the mission of wiping out the country of Christians by murdering them but changed his mind and eventually left the group.

Indeed, the tactic employed by the ISIS/ISIL terrorist group was so horrible that witnesses are too scared to come out to report the atrocities being committed. In an interview, one aid worker told the Sunday Express, "They're like a mafia. People are even killed inside the camps, and the refugees are afraid to say if they saw somebody get killed. If you ask them, they'll say, 'I don't know, I was asleep.' "
A separate report by The Clarion Project claimed that the jihadi death squads are also kidnapping Christian girls and selling them as sex slaves. The aid worker said, "The camps are dangerous because they have ISIS as well as Iraqi and Syrian militias. It's another place for gangs. They're killing inside the camps, and they're buying and selling women and even girls."
The report said that ISIS extremists have already infiltrated refugee camps to join the mass exodus of refugees into European and other Western countries with the aim of planting themselves in those countries to spread the ISIS ideology and later on carry out terrorist attacks. Some of these ISIS jihadis carry out attacks and organize the sales of sex slaves back into their territory en route to temporary evacuation camps. . .
Since launching their reign of terror in large swathes of land in Syria and Iraq, ISIS/ISIL extremists have murdered thousands of Christians who have refused to renounce their faith and join their cause. (The Gospel Herald) Read more.
- "Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." (Revelation 20:4)

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS

"May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Galatians 6:14)

Lyrics

When I survey the wondrous cross On which the Prince of glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ my God! All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down! Did e'er such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

His dying crimson, like a robe, Spreads o'er His body on the tree; Then I am dead to all the globe, And all the globe is dead to me.

Were the whole realm of nature mine, That were a present far too small; Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all.
To Christ, who won for sinners grace By bitter grief and anguish sore, Be praise from all the ransomed race Forever and forevermore.
