1. ISIS chief said to call for 'volcanoes of jihad,' after reports he was hurt in US strike - jpost
Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi called for attacks in Saudi Arabia, said his caliphate was expanding across the Arab world, and called for "volcanoes of jihad" in a speech purported to be in his name on Thursday.
- Father, may all plans of this enemy boomerang back on them. Shut the mouth of this leader. Weaken their forces on every front. May all their efforts fail from this day forward. In Jesus Name.
- Oh, look! God's right here helping! GOD's on my side, Evil is looping back on my enemies. (Psalm 54:4-5)
2. Pentagon reconsiders combat troops as Islamic State, al Qaeda affiliate align - The Washington Times
President Obama's top military advisers revealed Thursday that the administration is rethinking whether to deploy combat ground troops in the fight against the Islamic State, as signs emerged that the terrorist group may be setting aside its differences and is working with al Qaeda's affiliate in Syria -- the Nusra Front -- to attack U.S.-backed rebels in the region.
- Father, give wisdom on how to proceed in the fight against the Islamic State. Reveal plans and strategies to our top military advisers on how to stop this terrorist group.
- Strategic planning is the key to warfare; to win, you need a lot of good counsel. (Proverbs 24:6)
3. Report: $420M in U.S. Weapons, 'Sensitive Items' Go Missing in Afghanistan - The Washington Free Beacon
Nearly $420 million in weapons and other "sensitive items" have gone missing from U.S. Army bases in Afghanistan and are not likely to be recovered due to mismanagement and improper accounting, according to an internal report by the Pentagon's inspector general obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
- Father, it's hard for us to understand how $420M U.S. weapons can go missing. We pray - by some miracle - these weapons will be recovered. We also pray that the mismanagement and improper accounting issues will be corrected to prevent this predicament in the future.
- "You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another. (Leviticus 19:11)
4. Americans' Cellphones Targeted in Secret U.S. Spy Program - Wall Street Journal
The Justice Department is scooping up data from thousands of mobile phones through devices deployed on airplanes that mimic cellphone towers, a high-tech hunt for criminal suspects that is snagging a large number of innocent Americans, according to people familiar with the operations.
- Father, there is a fine line between gathering information from tens of thousands of cell phones to try and find one single criminal suspect. Protect our privacy, in Jesus name.
- For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:14)
5. Pentagon Studies Reveal Major U.S. Nuclear Infrastructure Problems - New York Times
The Pentagon will have to spend billions of dollars over the next five years to make emergency fixes to its nuclear weapons infrastructure, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel will announce on Friday, after two separate Pentagon studies concluded that there are "systemic problems across the nuclear enterprise," according to senior defense officials.
The reports are a searing indictment of how the Air Force's and Navy's aging nuclear weapons facilities, silos and submarine fleet have been allowed to decay since the end of the Cold War. A broad review was begun after academic cheating scandals and the dismissal of top officers for misbehavior, but it uncovered far more serious problems. (Read more)
- Lord God in heaven, we call forth all the resources needed to be able to repair and restore our nuclear facilities to their maximum level of efficiency and safety. We thank You, Lord, that as we ask of You, with clean hands and pure hearts, we shall receive. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.
- " Ask, and it shall be given you . . ." (Matthew 7:7)

1. Police Will Not Restrict Muslim Entry to Temple Mount - Israel National News
Police announced on Thursday evening that, unlike in previous weeks, they will not limit the entry of Muslim worshippers into the Temple Mount on Friday.
Tensions and intelligence information about planned riots have in recent weeks caused the police to limit entry to the Temple Mount to men over the age of 35. However, this Friday Muslim men of any age will be permitted entry. (Read more)
2. Hamas Threatens Violence Unless Gaza is Rehabilitated - Israel National News
The so-called "military wing" of the Hamas terrorist group warned Thursday of renewed violence unless Israel allows the reconstruction of Gaza, AFP reported.
"We are saying to all sides -- if the siege on Gaza and the obstacles for reconstruction remain, there will be a new explosion," said Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
The United Nations brokered a deal allowing the delivery of construction materials to Gaza by ensuring they will not be diverted by Hamas. (Read more)
3. Spain to Vote on Recognition of 'Palestine' - Israel National News
Spain is following in the footsteps of several other European countries, and its parliament plans to hold a vote next week on a resolution to recognize a Palestinian state, The Associated Press (AP) reported on Thursday.
The non-binding, largely symbolic resolution, presented by the Socialist opposition party, will be debated in parliament on Tuesday, and it appears the governing conservatives will support it. (Read more)
4. Kerry: Israel, Jordan agree on steps to reduce Jerusalem tensions - Times of Israel
The trilateral meeting in Amman between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Jordan's King Abdullah II and US Secretary of State John Kerry to discuss the recent surge of violence in Jerusalem ended Thursday evening, with Kerry issuing a statement praising the sides for their commitment to reduce tensions surrounding the Temple Mount. 5. Israel's fate at Security Council may hinge on increasingly critical Europe -Times of Israel
The Palestinian Authority is threatening to go to the United Nations Security Council with a resolution calling for an Israeli withdrawal within two years to the pre-1967 lines. PA President Mahmoud Abbas declared this week that he intends to do so within the month - perhaps on the symbolic date of November 29, on which the UN in 1947 voted on its Partition Plan and in 2012 granted Palestine nonmember state status at the General Assembly.
In the council's present constellation, it will be difficult - though certainly not impossible - to get the number of yes votes required to pass a resolution or force the US to veto it. However, if Abbas decided to hold off until next year, when five of the non-permanent Security Council members will be replaced, the chances of the Palestinian demarche will increase significantly. Shields Up!!
An alert from Cindy Jacobs
Dear Intercessors,
This morning I awakened deeply disturbed in my spirit that Satan was planning something big concerning terrorism in America. Other people have written me concerning possible suicide bombers. Pray against racial tensions exploding. It seems the heavens are very violent now after the elections.
Let's put shields up over our nation! Please pray especially for playgrounds, schools, and places where people publicly gather. Also pray against attacks on military bases and police stations as well as federal buildings.
We know that God is faithful to expose every secret and hidden plot when we pray.
Standing in the gap!

Accountability Teams
Many have asked me to explain the concept of accountability teams to hold those we elected accountable. Accountability is nothing new. There are many Biblical examples of accountability. Nathan held King David accountable for his affair with Bathsheba and ordering her husband Uriah killed in battle. Achan was held accountable for transgressing God's covenant by hiding forbidden spoils, causing Israel's army to be defeated. Joshua 7:25 reports, "And all Israel stoned him with stones..." Ecclesiastes 4:9 says that two are better than one, "for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow." This is also true with accountability. We can transfer Biblical accountability to our socio-political environment. And we should.
I have heard Christians argue repeatedly that Matthew 18:15-17 is only for dealing with a brother who sins against you. Legalism aside, Jesus gives us the principle on how to hold people accountable:
"Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican." In these verses are the foundation for the accountability team concept.
Anyone can be part of an accountability team. You and your spouse; you and your significant other; you and your co-worker; you and your friend. Accountability teams can be large or small. Certainly, they can hold one another accountable and/or extend to others. In our case, we want to extend to those we elected and why we elected them. Now people may argue that those we elected are not disciples of Christ. So be it. But we are and we have both the Lord and our votes on our side. We have taken the great step of sending a message to these politicians that we don't like how they are handling government. We threw a bunch of them out. Now its time to hold them accountable.
Accountability teams may work in many different ways. My suggestion is to determine as a team the four or five issues on which you want to hold accountability (ie., socialist healthcare, amnesty/border security, ISIS, marriage, spending, or others). Every time there is a possible action on those issues, team members should each write the senator or representative a brief email--something that can be read in less than 15 seconds--something like "We elected you to oppose socialist healthcare. Do the right thing." Also call the office with the same message. If they don't vote correctly, write a brief press announcement and have each member of the accountability team call the local paper, radio station, and TV station to complain. Tell them citizens are angry because the politician isn't doing what we elected him/her to do.
See how this follow's Jesus' guidelines?--go to the person first; If he doesn't listen, go to the news media. I know that much of this will be frustrating because neither the media nor the elected official may respond very favorably. But with the power of the Lord with you, great things can happen. And if we get enough people doing this, both the politicians and the media will have to take notice that we mean business. Be polite, but firm. Don't be all religious and self righteous. Straight to the point--let your yes be yes and your no be no. Build relationships if you can, but take the upper hand. Let's see if we can back up our votes and start turning this sinking ship back to safe harbor.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

2 Members Praise New Air Force Policy

Forbes, Lamborn Praise Revision of Air Force Policy
Washington, D.C. - Representatives J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) and Doug Lamborn (CO-05) issued the following statement in response to an announcement from the United States Air Force that they have revised Air Force Instruction 1-1:
"The Air Force's new policy more clearly reflects the priority of religious freedom in our Constitution and in the conscience protections for servicemembers and chaplains that Congress passed in the National Defense Authorization Act. Whereas the old language was misleading and confusing for Commanders to apply, these revisions point to well-established standards for protecting religious expression. We are grateful to General Welsh and Chaplain Stendahl for their leadership in revising this policy, and hope that this new language will better aid commanders in maintaining the high standard that our Nation has always had for protecting freedom of religion for our men and women in uniform."
From the Office of Congressman Doug Lamborn:
Congressman Lamborn Lauds Major Air Force Step to Protect Religious Freedom 11/10/14 This afternoon Congressman Doug Lamborn and religious freedom advocates released the following statement after the Air Force announced revised religious freedom regulations. These revised regulations are in direct response to an amendment offered by Congressman Lamborn on the House-passed National Defense Authorization Act for FY2015 (Sec. 528 of H.R. 4435).
"These revised regulations are a significant step in the right direction and represent a big win for common sense and decency. The Air Force has now made it clear that serving in uniform does not come at the cost of one's religious views, no matter what they might be. The First Amendment guarantees religious freedom, not freedom from religion like some extremists will argue, and these regulations seem to make that clear. While there is still room for improvement, the Air Force needs to work diligently to ensure that these regulations are properly implemented across the Air Force and at every level of command. I do believe that if these regulations are properly implemented they will provide significantly better protections for Airmen. I am particularly grateful for General Welsh's efforts on this issue and believe that Airmen of all religious beliefs will benefit because of his leadership." - Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05).

(On Amnesty): We Will Fight!
During a meeting today with House Republicans, Speaker John Boehner reiterated his opposition to any executive amnesty. According to Politico Boehner said, "I told the president last week directly: 'If you proceed with executive amnesty, not only can you forget about getting immigration reform enacted during your presidency, you can also expect it to jeopardize other issues as well. . . .if he proceeds, we are going to fight it."
And we will too, my friends! Stay tuned. (Gary Bauer)

7th Circuit Reverses Decision Stripping Away Clergy Tax Housing Allowance
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today Family Research Council commended the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit for reversing a decision by U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb that declared the clergy housing tax allowance unconstitutional. Family Research Council's "Watchmen on the Wall" pastors network is composed of over 40,000 churches from across the country.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins made the following comments:
"On behalf of the over 40,000 pastors who make up our church network, we welcome today's appellate decision striking down Judge Crabb's ruling stripping away pastors' tax-free housing allowance. We commend the 7th Circuit for holding accountable a judge whose name became virtually synonymous with religious harassment when she tried to strike down the National Day of Prayer as unconstitutional four years ago.
"Going back to Patrick Henry in 1785, society has tried to relieve the clergy's housing burden because of the tremendous social benefits churches offer the culture and because so many clergy, despite their exceptional educations, receive only modest salaries. Through charitable work for the homeless, substance abuse, marriage counseling, adoption, and other initiatives, the church's outreach helps treat a lot of the social ills that otherwise would become the burden of taxpayers and the federal government. What's more, the Supreme Court has already made it clear that these sorts of tax laws don't injury anyone-which is why Judge Crabb's decision ended the same way as her last attack on religion: in embarrassment," concluded Perkins.
