Pray for President Trump

I have been sent to tell you to warn the Christians to pray for their President

Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj received an angelic visitation today with a warning about an evil plan to remove President Trump from office. He sent the following message to Pastor Joe Sweet from Shekinah Worship Center.

This evening at 5.25 pm on November 13, 2018 (Singapore date and time), I had a visitation from an Angel of the Lord with a drawn sword in his right hand. He spoke to me about President Donald Trump. I wasn't thinking about him nor praying for him at that time. I was just busy doing some other works.

The Angel of the Lord said: "I have been sent to tell you to warn the Christians to pray for their president. He is in danger of being impeached and removed from office. There are sinister forces working behind the veil on this. Several Attorneys, Judges, Senators, Congressmen and even Governors are working on it. It is not the plan of God for him (President Trump) to be removed. Ask the Christians to pray."

Please prayerfully act on this Word.

This warning confirms the dream received by Christopher Harris on October 13 (see complete post). Christopher was told this plan would manifest within the next five weeks, which ends this coming weekend. Christopher was specifically shown former Speaker of the House, John Boehner, is one of the leaders of this plan. Since Christopher is an Australian citizen and resident, he did not even know who John Boehner is.

I believe what the angel told Sundar, "It is not the plan of God for him (President Trump) to be removed. Ask the Christians to pray." (Read more) Source: Z3 News

URGENT PRAYER NEEDED FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP

Pray a hedge of protection around the President and Vice President, both personally and professionally. Pray for loyalty, discernment, and strength. Pray for peace and order in our nation-for the upholding of the rule of law. Pray that God's will would be done and that His Kingdom would come to bear in the White House and in our government. Be exalted in your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise your might. (Ps 21:13)

> > > From time to time we get information, words, or impressions from people we trust, who ask us to pray. Today we are asking you to pray for our President. Begin with repentance. "Without repentance, our prayers will not get results, but God has promised if we turn away from our wicked ways and get right with Him, He will heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). Righteousness, a right relationship with God, is the only thing that can turn our nation around, and it requires with repentance."

Thank you.

> > > A response from Don Upham:

Keep praying, and repent.

- Lord we repent for not being the light to the world you have called us to be and instead letting the darkness overtake our thoughts and words.

- Lord we repent for complaining about the things going on around us but not putting on our armor and wading into the battle in the spiritual realm.

- Lord we repent for pointing fingers at the people we perceive as the enemy, but not engaging in prayer with the true spiritual enemy that is holding them in bondage.

- Lord we repent for seeking to take vengeance into our own hand for the wrongs we perceived to be done to us.

- Lord we repent for taking joy at seeing others caught in the trap created by their own sin and selfishness.

- Lord we repent for not praying for those in authority as scripture calls on us to do as we have judged them unredeemable.

- Lord we repent for the times we have said we would pray for someone but we did not or did not intend to.

- Lord we repent for justifying our sin instead of confessing it.

- Lord we repent for failing to hate the sin but love the sinner.

Feel free to add to this list, Lord help me, I intend to keep working on it.

Blessings to you all,
Don Upham

Focus on Israel

1. Israel's defense minister resigns over Gaza ceasefire, calls for new elections - World Israel News

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman announced his resignation in a press conference, Wednesday afternoon, expressing dissatisfaction with Israel's ceasefire with Hamas. He says he will call for immediate elections.

"I announce my resignation," Liberman said. "Yesterday's ceasefire, in combination with an agreement process with Hamas is a capitulation to terror. What we're doing in effect at the moment is buying quiet for the short-term at the cost of our national security in the long-term."

"The answer we gave to 500 rockets was neither adequate nor enough. From the security interest point of view, we had to finish first of all the issue of the south. The weakness that we revealed broadcasts to other areas," he said.

"If I continued in my role, I wouldn't be able to look in the eyes of the southern residents or the families of the kidnapped and missing," he added. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu defends ceasefire, cites secret information - World Israel News

Ahead of Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman's resignation due to his opposition to the ceasefire deal with Hamas, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the truce agreement, saying there were reasons unknown to the public.

"In times of emergency, when making decisions crucial to security, the public can't always be privy to the considerations that must be hidden from the enemy," Netanyahu said at a state memorial service for David Ben Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, in Sde Boker.

"At these moments, it is not up to leadership to do the easy thing but to do the right thing, even if it is difficult. Leadership is sometimes to be criticized, when you know secret and sensitive things that you cannot share with the citizens of Israel, and in this case the residents of the south, whom I love so much and appreciate," he added.

"Our enemies begged for a ceasefire, and they knew very well why," the prime minister stated. (Read more)

> > > Commentary from Insight for Intercessors on this news:

My heart is aching for Bibi. What the Lord is revealing to me about the steps Bibi is taking now is the fulfillment of what YHVH spoke to me in the Knesset in May of 1995. YHVH told me then to pray for this man (Bibi), that he might hold strong, and throw his body (his life, his career, his credibility, his reputation etc) between the closing door (on Israel's security) and the door posts (this becoming the misunderstood doorstop, sacrificing himself to save Israel from disaster.) Bibi cannot share the secrets that he knows and the truth about WHY he is doing what he is doing. What is so infuriating is that some of those speaking out against him (condemning his actions the ceasefire, etc.), know part of the realities Bibi must be operating under, but they are using Bibi's silence to prosper their own agendas to replace him. Oh, how I wish the people of Israel knew the Lord and could hear His voice!! Looking at this carnally they will totally miss what is taking place, and sacrifice YHVH's faithful servant in the process.

Today in the prayer meeting, as we were praying about the replacement of Liberman as the new Min. of Defense, one word came shouting into my spirit. That word was DICHTER. I just now read some things about Avi Dichter. He is a military man (combat), the former head of the Shabak (intelligence), speaks Arabic fluently, If this man is the Lord's choice, let's pray him into the position.

3. Jewish Home in ultimatum to Netanyahu: Give us Defense Ministry or we leave - Times of Israel

The Jewish Home presented an ultimatum to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, with the party saying it will leave the coalition and force new elections if its leader Naftali Bennett is not made defense minister following Avigdor Liberman's resignation from the position.

"It's either the Defense Ministry or we are out," party officials told The Times of Israel. "This is our ultimatum to stay in the government."

The demand came minutes after Yisrael Beytenu party chairman Avigdor Liberman announced that he would be resigning as defense minister and called for the government to be dismantled and for new elections to be held.

4. Netanyahu trying to avoid snap election after Liberman quits - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began talks with leaders of the remaining coalition parties to try to keep his government stable on Wednesday afternoon, following Avigdor Liberman's announcement that he is resigning from the Defense Ministry and removing Yisrael Beytenu from the coalition.

The Bayit Yehudi faction voted to demand that Education Minister Naftali Bennett become defense minister, or it will quit the coalition.

"A government without deterrence is not a right- wing government. Without taking responsibility for the national mission of changing the security situation, there is no reason for the government to exist," a statement from the party said.

The statement came after senior Likud sources said Netanyahu plans to take on the defense portfolio - in addition to the Foreign and Health ministries that he already heads. The prime minister automatically retains any portfolio if a minister resigns, until he appoints someone else to it. Should Netanyahu remain defense minister, he would be the first person to hold that position and the positions of prime minister and foreign minister simultaneously. He will also take on the Aliyah and ntegration Ministry, since Sofa Landver is leaving the coalition with Yisrael Beytenu.

5. Five Million Dollar Reward for Hamas Deputy Chief - Jerusalem Online

The US Department of State is offering a five-million-dollar reward for information leading to the capture of Hamas political chief Saleh al-Arouri and two other leaders of the Lebanese Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah.

Salih al-Aruri is a deputy of the Hamas's political bureau and one of the founders of Hamas's military wing. Al-Aruri is currently living freely in Lebanon, where he is reportedly is working with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force. Al-Aruri raised funds for and directed Hamas military operations in West Bank and has been linked to several terrorist attacks, hijackings, and kidnappings.

In 1992 he was arrested by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and sentenced to 18 years in prison. In 2010, he was released as part of the exchange for soldier Gilad Shalit who was held captive by Hamas for 5 years.

7. Israel, Hamas Broker Cease fire ~ Top Ministers Opposed

Four top ministers are opposed to the reported ceasefire: Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, Environmental Protection Minister Ze'ev Elkin and Education Minister Naftali Bennett.

An unnamed minster, who attended the meeting on Tuesday, told Times of Israel that no vote was held during a seven-hour meeting to decide the next steps.

This development comes as the Islamic Jihad terror group announced it launched fresh rockets into Ashkelon to "turn [it] into hell." (Read more) Source: World Israel News

- Analysis ~ Four top leaders in the Israeli government were OPPOSED to the ceasefire with Hamas: Defense minister Avigdor Lieberman, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaket, Environmental Protection Minister Ze'ev Elkin and Education Minister Naftali Bennett. In the next news story, we see more FALLOUT from the cease fire: Defense Minister Avidgor Lieberman has RESIGNED in the wake of this latest ceasefire.

8. Defense Minister Liberman resigns ~ Says Israel capitulated to terror in Gaza

Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman announced Wednesday that he would be resigning as defense minister and called for the government to be dismantled and for new elections to be set.

"I am here to announce my resignation from the government," he said at a hastily organized press conference at the Knesset after a Yisrael Beytenu party meeting, during which he told MKs of his decision.

Liberman said his decision came in light of the ceasefire reportedly agreed on Tuesday between Israel and Palestinian terror groups in Gaza following an unprecedentedly fierce two-day barrage of over 400 rockets fired by Hamas and other terror groups toward Israel. - Pray into 1 Samuel 30:1-4 ~ Israel's homeland is being burned, bombed, destroyed. David's home of Ziklag was burned and destroyed and all the women and children were taken captive. David and his men were deeply distressed. Israel's residents on the Gaza border are deeply distressed.

- Pray into 1 Samuel 30:5-8 ~ David INQUIRED of the LORD. The LORD answered: "Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all." May Netanyahu and his cabinet INQUIRE OF THE LORD! May they make any needed COURSE CORRECTIONS!

9. Netanyahu huddles with party heads as coalition teeters after Defense Minister resigns

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's party began holding discussions with senior coalition members Wednesday in an effort to hold together his government, following the resignation of Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman and an ultimatum by Jewish Home leader Naftali Bennett.

The departure of Liberman's Yisrael Beytenu's leaves the coalition with a narrow margin of just 61 seats against the opposition's 59, greatly raising the possibility of early elections before they are officially scheduled in November 2019. (Read more) Source: Times of Israel

Analysis ~ This latest development, with the resignation of the Defense Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, could lead to the collapse of the coalition government. Netanyahu now has only 61 seats in the coalition, which is the MINIMUM required to cobble the coalition together. This could result in the call for early elections. To AVOID such a move, will Netanyahu consider appointing Naftali Bennett as the new defense minister? That seems unlikely, since Bennett was one of the leaders that OPPOSED Netanyahu's recent approval of the Hamas cease fire. We continue to WATCH and PRAY.
Pray into James 4:10 ~ May Netanyahu and his standing cabinet INQUIRE OF THE LORD. May they humble themselves in HIS sight! May they SHEMA! May the be willing to make any necessary COURSE CORRECTIONS!

Pray into James 1:5-8 ~ May Netanyahu seek not the wisdom of the world, or wisdom of reason/logic, but may he seek the WISDOM OF YHVH!

The Daily Brief

1. Trump clashes with globalist European leaders, Trudeau as he embraces nationalism - FoxNews

President Trump's tirade Tuesday against French President Emmanuel Macron is the latest salvo in an ongoing war the nationalist president is fighting against a globalist clique of international leaders who have sought to scold Trump over his "America First" policies. Over the weekend, relations were much more chilly after Macron fired off a call for a European Army "to protect ourselves to China, Russia, and even the United States of America." Trump, landing in France on Friday, called the idea "insulting" and referred again to the U.S' NATO burden.

The president attacked Macron for his plans urging the French to "Make France Great Again!" Trump's reference to French nationalism appeared in response to Macron's apparent swipe at Trumpian nationalism on Sunday where he called nationalism "a betrayal of patriotism." As Trump has himself embraced the "nationalist" moniker, Macron has shaped himself as Europe's defender of globalism.

Tuesday's attacks on Twitter included a note about Macron's low approval ratings, France's high unemployment rate and even French surrender during World War II, saying that the French were "learning German" by the time the U.S. intervened in the conflict.

2. Trump ally Kevin McCarthy selected to lead House GOP - One News Now

Republican Kevin McCarthy easily won an internal party election Wednesday to take over the shrunken House GOP caucus, a familiar role for the underestimated scrapper whose top priority will be to protect President Donald Trump's agenda and try to build the party back to retake the majority.

The speaker's gavel long gone, the race for minority leader was McCarthy's to lose, but the Californian's rise was never guaranteed. He's close to Trump, but the president is also friendly with Rep. Jim Jordan, the conservative Freedom Caucus member, and both faced testy colleagues ready to assign blame after the midterm election losses. In the end, McCarthy pushed past Jordan, 159-43, according to officials familiar with the closed-door voting.

McCarthy "knows what he needs to do," said GOP Whip Steve Scalise, the Louisiana Republican who was gravely wounded in last year's congressional baseball practice shooting and unanimously won the No. 2 spot as minority whip. "You always look in the mirror and see what you can do better," Scalise said Tuesday. Republicans, he said, "need to do a better job of letting people know what we stand for."

3. Judiciary Committee processes Trump nominees over Democrats' objections - Washington Times

Senators returned to Washington Tuesday and immediately picked up where they left off - processing President Trump's judicial nominees, over the objections of Democrats. The Judiciary Committee held a hearing for Paul B. Matey, nominated to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and for four district court picks.

Mr. Matey's nomination is particularly controversial because it marks another round in the fight over Senate traditions and courtesies and their abuse in the era of Mr. Trump. Mr. Matey is slated to fill a seat on the appeals court that's traditionally ascribed to New Jersey. But that state's senators, both Democrats, object to the president's pick, and have withheld their "blue slips" to signify their opposition.

The committee also heard from Jean-Paul Boulee for the Northern District of Georgia, James David Cain Jr. for the Western District of Louisiana, Damon Ray Leichty for the Northern District of Indiana, and J. Nicholas Ranjan for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The Senate currently has more than 40 judicial nominees awaiting confirmation votes. Republicans have said they hope to get them all confirmed during the lame-duck session before the start of the new Congress in January.

4. Florida AG Pam Bondi Opens Criminal Investigation of Election Fraud - CNS News

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has opened a criminal investigation into allegations of election fraud, and although she refused to go into detail, she said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, at her direction, is conducting interviews.

Bondi spoke with Fox News's Sean Hannity Tuesday night, "We are clearly doing an investigation. We have made no conclusions. But this is about the integrity of our election process, and wherever it leads, we want to be sure that voters know that our process is going to be fair and legal, Sean." Among other things, Bondi indicated that investigators are examining missed deadlines for vote tabulations and other violations of the process that is laid out in Florida law.

She said that in addition to the ongoing criminal investigation, at least seven civil lawsuits have been filed by the Democrat Party, the American Civil Liberties Union, the League of Women Voters, and others who want to retroactively change the Florida constitution. "They want to change the law after the ballots have all been cast, and go back retroactively and change our law, which is -- it's ridiculous."

5. Denham Loses in Late Vote-Counting With Two More GOP Seats Hanging in the Balance - FreeBeacon

California Republicans lost a fourth House seat Tuesday, as late vote-counting handed political newcomer Josh Harder enough votes to push GOP Rep. Jeff Denham from his seat in the agriculture-oriented Central Valley. The loss, called by the Associated Press at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, came as two other Republican-held seats to the South in Orange County were perilously close to flipping as the provisional and late mail-in ballots continued to break for Democrats.

Rep. Mimi Walters (R., Calif.) held an election night lead of more than 6,000 votes that has dwindled as the vote-counting has continued over the last week. Republican Young Kim, a former assemblywoman and a longtime aide to retiring Rep. Ed Royce (R., Calif.), also saw her lead fall, from 1,957 to just 839 votes against Gil Cisneros, a former Navy veteran and lottery winner after a major vote dump by Los Angeles County, the most liberal of the three counties portions of which make up her district.

"We continue to observe the ballot counting process and remain committed to upholding the integrity of this election," a campaign spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon late Tuesday. "The Young Kim campaign will work to assure that every legal ballot cast is counted."

6. Historic class storms Capitol - The Hill

The most diverse Congress in history is descending on the Capitol, with newly elected lawmakers arriving in Washington, D.C., to meet their future colleagues and get acclimated to their new environment. Many of the new Democrats are young and progressive, underscoring the generational and ideological divisions that are likely to pull at the conference over the next two years.

That dynamic was on full display Tuesday, when Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), a rising star on the left, made a splash on her first day of freshman orientation by joining more than 100 youth protesters outside of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) office to demand action on climate change.

The caucus elected is not only younger and more diverse, but also reflects a wide range of ideology. Along with Ocasio-Cortez, a liberal star with more than 1 million Twitter followers, it includes Abigail Spanberger, an ex-CIA operative who defeated Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.) in a swing district, and Angie Craig, a former medical technology executive who won a seat in the Minneapolis suburbs. None of them are committing to backing Pelosi for Speaker.

7. Democrats investigate Matthew Whitaker's role in Florida 'scam' company - Washington Examiner

House Democrats have kicked off their investigations into the Trump administration by pressing Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker on his connection to a Florida company that the Federal Trade Commission shut down and called a "scam that has bilked thousands of consumers out of millions of dollars." The former Iowa U.S. attorney was an advisory board member of World Patent Marketing, a Miami-based company that promoted a promise to help inventors get patents. Justice Department spokesperson Kerri Kupec said in a statement last week that Whitaker "has said he was not aware of any fraudulent activity.

The top Democrats on the House Oversight, Judiciary, Intelligence, and Energy and Commerce committees jointly sent seven letters requesting documents and briefings about Whitaker's role on the advisory board of the company. Reps. Elijah Cummings of Oversight, Jerry Nadler of Judiciary, Adam Schiff of Intelligence, and Frank Pallone of Energy and Commerce stated that court records include documents showing Whitaker played a direct role in some of these actions.

Whitaker has faced a storm of controversy and criticism after being appointed as the temporary replacement for Jeff Sessions after Trump fired him as attorney general. The appointment put Whitaker in charge of overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia inquiry. "Because the Senate was not given an opportunity to properly vet Mr. Whitaker's background, serious questions are now arising about his fitness to serve in this position of trust," the lawmakers wrote in each letter.

- Father, we pray You will make Matthew Whitaker's role in this company clear. Help him address this issue and completely resolve it.

- Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip. (Psalm 26:1)

8. Caravan Migrants Arrive at Southern Border, Scale Fence - Breitbart

Video footage released by various Mexican news agencies show the first group of migrants with a caravan of 7,000 to 10,000 Central Americans have arrived at the United States-Mexico border. As Breitbart News's Robert Arce reported, newly released video footage shows that 400 migrants with the caravan were escorted through the northern border state of Sonora as the busloads of Central Americans head to the U.S.-Mexico border.

President Trump has deployed more than 5,000 members of the U.S. military to the southern border to aid federal immigration officials in dealing with the caravan. Nearly 400,000 illegal border-crossers have crossed into the U.S. this year, as of last month. In October, nearly 51,000 border-crossers were apprehended, Breitbart News reported.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, though the establishment media has repeatedly claimed that the caravan is seeking to enter the U.S. to seek asylum, the Central American migrants have continuously admitted they are not seeking asylum. Instead, the migrants are looking for jobs, crime-free communities, and many are previously deported illegal aliens who are looking to go back to their former, illegal life in the U.S. None of these cases is eligible as asylum claims.

9. Unable to Reach Asia Bibi, Pakistan's Muslims Attacking Random Christians - Geller Report

CNN recently spoke to members of the Christian minority community in Pakistan impacted by Bibi's acquittal. "While speculation is rife about the safety of Bibi and her family, there are larger conversations at stake regarding the protection of Pakistan's tiny Christian minority," CNN noted, adding, "The country's strict blasphemy laws are a topic of great sensitivity in Pakistan; accusations of blasphemy have seen a surge in mob violence and lynchings in pockets of the country."

Followers of Christ make up less than two percent of Pakistan's population of 200 million, according to Jacob. Yet they have been in the territory that forms modern Pakistan for centuries, long before it was declared an Islamic country. "Please don't name us," a member of Pakistan's Christian minority told CNN on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution. "But we are Christians and if Muslims aren't safe from these conversations then we are nothing to these people, we respect the judgment of the Supreme Court, and that is paramount, I just want this situation to go away and for this tension to be lifted from our shoulders."

Last Friday, the Pakistani government reached a deal with TLP to prevent Bibi from leaving the country while the Supreme Court deals with petitions to review its acquittal of the Christian mother of five. Islamabad has also agreed not to prevent the TLP from filing a petition to add Bibi to a list preventing her from leaving Pakistan. Bibi spent nearly eight years incarcerated on death row before her acquittal.

10. In first, Washington calls on Beijing to remove missiles from South China Sea - American Military News

The United States has for the first time urged China to remove missile systems deployed to contested man-made islands in the South China Sea, the Pentagon said Friday. The move came in a statement recapping high-level talks between the two sides in Washington on Friday.

"The United States called on China to withdraw its missile systems from disputed features in the Spratly Islands, and reaffirmed that all countries should avoid addressing disputes through coercion or intimidation," the statement said.

Beijing has constructed a series of military outposts throughout the waterway, which includes vital sea lanes through which about $3 trillion in global trade passes each year. Malaysia and Brunei also have overlapping claims in the waters, where the U.S., Chinese, Japanese and some Southeast Asian navies also routinely operate.

A prophetic people amidst Islamic slaughter

The US State Department has sent an entourage to Nigeria to investigate the ongoing slaughter of Christians there. International Christian Concern estimates that In October, there were 260 Christians killed at the hands of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen, bringing the total to over 2,300 killed so far this year, and 16,000 Christians killed in the past three years. This is the same issue we are dealing with in our Ghana ministry. In September 2011, I interviewed eyewitnesses in the Northern Region of Ghana to how the Fulani sized up a village, attacked it, killing the elders who resisted, raping the women, and stealing what they could. It was in this way that they brought villages under Islamic control.

Many did not believe my reports. We had to travel under armed guard to even visit the area. Our missions partner in Ghana, Pastor William Agbeti, says the reports sparked awareness. He says the villagers decided to fight back, and much to the Fulani's surprise, the tables turned. He wrote in November 2011: "Many were those who did not believe you when you started reporting on the atrocities that Fulani herdsmen were meting out to Ghanaians. Your reports were wake up calls. Today, the truth has finally come out. Everybody in Ghana now knows the Fulani herdsmen have been and are responsible for most armed robbery cases, murders, rapes and destruction of farms and villages; as several of them have been arrested and caught in the act of committing various crimes."

This, however, did not stop the ongoing Christian persecution by Islamists in neighboring Nigeria or in Ghana. Islam continues to roll across the rural areas, invading villages, establishing an organized shadow government of control and crime. In addition to the steady harassment, threats and bullying, the Muslims are now just stealing land and stripping it for its soil to sell for profit. Agbeti reports:"I went to take a look at the devastation the Muslims caused when they bulldozed the top soil away at the village. I took pictures, and the spectacle wasn't good. I also traveled through various villages bringing in building materials and saw massive destruction of land all over the place. These guys come with bulldozers and begin digging sand away from buildings and structures, destroying farms and all."

William noted that these Muslims are armed with machetes and pistols, and "have formed themselves into various groups--illegal sand winners, notorious land guards, village raiders, forced marriage and child marriage contractors, harassing beasts, land jihadists, etc.--spread across the length and breadth of villages." This is why our church project in the outpost rural bush area of Busuafise is so important. Food, clothing, clean water-are all part of Christ's lovingkindness in our ministry to these gallant people who are laboring amidst peril. At times it seems overwhelming, but we remember 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Classic Hymns

WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED UP YONDER

"And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened." (Revelation 20:12)

Lyrics

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more, and the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair; when the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, and the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

Refrain:

When the roll is called up yonder,
when the roll is called up yonder,
when the roll is called up yonder,
when the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

2 On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise, and the glory of his resurrection share; when his chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies, and the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. [Refrain]
3 Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun, let us talk of all his wondrous love and care; then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done, and the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. [Refrain]

Christian Ministries Providing Rapid Response to Aid Thousands Left Homeless by California Wildfires

Churches and ministries are gearing up to help those in California affected by the major wildfires that are devastating parts of the state.

In recent days, California has experienced the deadliest wildfires in its history, as at least 44 people have perished in the flames, 42 alone from the "Camp Fire" in the northern part of the state.

Fueled by dry weather and heavy winds, the Camp Fire is also blamed for having destroyed over 7,200 structures and burning up more than 115,000 acres, CBS News has reported. (For details, go here.)

Great Move of the Holy Spirit Erupts in SICILY

(Italy)- [Charismanews.com] A great move of the Holy Spirit has erupted like Mount Etna on the Island of Sicily. I visited there last weekend to speak in Palermo at Ministero Saron, led by Pastors Eliseo and Lina Siino.

I was greeted by major flooding in the area, though the waters did not prevent my reaching the platform. The spiritual hunger of the Italian men, women and children was evident throughout the weekend. The Italians are not only renowned for their passion, but their great culture adds to the mix, and their enthusiasm for Christ and for seeing a move of the Holy Spirit was exciting.

The Italian connection I have witnessed in Rome, Turin and Palermo, being also in Congress, proves that there is a major awakening taking place in Italy and blazing a fire across Europe. Italy is, of course, a predominantly Roman Catholic country, and to see the increase in the charismatic Catholic and Pentecostal movements brings a vibrancy not to be dismissed.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
