4. Today's Prayer for the First One Hundred Days
January 24 - Cabinet Finalization

"Choose some well-respected men from among you who are known for their wisdom and understanding, and I will appoint them as your leaders." (Deuteronomy 1:13)

Inauguration Day was the first day Cabinet members could be officially confirmed by the U. S. Senate. You can see a list of individuals both nominated by President Trump and those confirmed by the Senate here. Many of the hearings for confirmation took place just before the President was inaugurated. Hearings for each nominee can go on for months, but typically are completed before the President's first 100 days are complete. The faster the Cabinet members are confirmed, the faster the new government can move forward. Since we have such a strong ideological change between President Obama's White and House and President Trump's, there will be much to do. While there is a Republican majority in the Senate, which can help the process, there are bound to be many challenges by the Democrats.
Points for Prayer:

Pray for those individuals yet to be confirmed. Ask the Lord for truth to be known, so that individuals above reproach can be confirmed and individuals of trustworthy character will not be denied their positions. If there is anything hidden, it must be revealed, as well, for the sake of our nation's future.

Pray for each one in accordance with Deuteronomy 1:13, that these would be men and women known for having wisdom and authority in their areas of expertise for the Cabinet seat they will hold.

Intercede between the political parties, that conflict between them would be minimized for the sake of our nation's reputation. We need a John 17 unity to fall upon them. We need a miracle.

Ask the Lord for the perfect staff members to be added to each governmental department. Proclaim the doors closed to anyone who would subvert the activities in each department, undermining the authority of the Cabinet Secretaries and the President, or who would cause delays, or who would carry out acts of espionage against our nation.

Focus on Israel

1. Report: White House starting to discuss transferring embassy to Jerusalem - Jerusalem Online

The White House announced that the US government began discussions on the issue of transferring the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This is the first time that Donald Trump has related to the issue since he was sworn in as US President. Later in the evening, Netanyahu and Trump are expected to talk about political issues.

White House Spokesman Sean Spicer stated that the US is in the initial stages of the discussion. Shortly after that, Israel welcomed the decision. "I welcome Trump's government fulfilling his electoral promise to transfer the US Embassy to Jerusalem," Minister Ze'ev Elkin stated. "A united Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel according to Israeli law and the US Congress recognizes this in special legislation. The time has come to realize this and to transfer the embassy to Jerusalem." (Read more)

- Father, we pray for the US leaders working on moving the embassy to Jerusalem. We ask You to guide every step of this process. We ask that you protect our leaders and nation as well as all of Israel during the embassy move. We know that Jerusalem is Your city, Your foundation and if our embassy is there, the US's foundation will be there too! We pray this in the mighty name of Yeshua, amen.

-"And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem I will put my name." (2 Kings 21:4)

2. Jerusalem mayor says he's in talks with US about embassy move - Times of Israel

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said Monday he has held talks with American officials about moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a day after a White House official said discussions of the controversial transfer were only in their early stages.

Barkat, who has hailed Trump for committing to move the embassy to Jerusalem, a move long sought by Israeli officials, said he believes the administration intends to follow through on its promises.

"From the conversations I've had with US government officials, I know they are serious in their intentions [to move the embassy]," Barkat told Army Radio. (Read more)

3. Abbas meets King Abdullah to discuss possible US Embassy move - Jerusalem Post

PA President Mahmoud Abbas and Jordanian King Abdullah met in Amman on Sunday to coordinate policy over the possible relocation of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

"Abbas and King Abdullah II discussed the possible ramifications of moving the American Embassy to occupied Jerusalem and agreed to take a number of measures if the embassy is relocated," the official Palestinian Authority news site Wafa reported, without clarifying what such measures would be. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, we pray that all plans and measures put in place by Mr. Abbas and King Abdullah be marked null and void. We ask, Lord God, that You would protect Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel, President Trump, and the United States from all plots of destruction or harm. We ask You to give a supernatural revelation of Your claim to Jerusalem to Mr. Abbas and King Abdullah, as well as leaders of other nations. In the name of Yeshua, amen.

4. Rivlin: Internal divisions a grave threat to Israel's security - Israel National News

President Reuven Rivlin warned that internal divisions within Israeli society constitute a grave threat to national security Monday at the annual Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) conference.

During his address, Rivlin praised the work of the INSS in bringing discussions about national security to the Israeli public.

"Debates on national security are usually conducted behind closed doors, in smoke-filled-rooms - far from the eye of the public and the media, and far from the listening ears of the enemy," he said. "There is no doubting the need for discretion, for reasons of security. Solidarity should not be harmed; not out of recklessness, nor out of decisions taken for populist or unconnected reasons. (Read more)

- Abba, we pray for the unity of the Israeli people and government. We pray for safety and security for all of them. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. In Yeshua's holy name, amen.

5. Knesset bill seeks to return 4 West Bank settlements from 2005 disengagement - Jerusalem Online

While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is calling for Israeli politicians to proceed with caution regarding West Bank issues, MKs within the coalition are advancing a bill that seeks to return four settlements in the northern West Bank area, which were evacuated as part of the 2005 disengagement. "There is no justification to prevent Jewish people from being there," said the MK who is proposing the bill. (Read more)

The Daily Brief

Please note:
Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

1. Trump Signs Order Defunding International Planned Parenthood, and Stopping Federal Funding of Foreign Abortions - LifeSite News

In his very first pro-life action, President Donald Trump signed an executive order today reinstating the "Mexico City Policy" banning government funding of foreign pro-abortion groups like the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

A cultural political football, the policy was first enacted by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 and was maintained by President George H.W. Bush until it was rescinded first by Democratic President Bill Clinton in 1993. Eight years later, President George W. Bush reinstated Mexico City and it was in effect until Barack Obama reversed it upon entering office in 2009.

The Mexico City Policy bans funding to organizations that perform abortions overseas or lobby for legalizing them in foreign nations.

"This is a vital step in the journey to make America great again, recognizing and affirming the universal ideal that all human beings have inherent worth and dignity, regardless of their age or nationality. I thank President Trump for issuing an executive order in keeping with his campaign promise that he will protect taxpayers from having to pay for abortions." - Tony Perkins, president-Family Research Council (Read more)

- Thank You Lord for this marvelous action! We rejoice that the President has taken this step toward removing that curse of paying for abortions with our taxpayer money. Praise You, Father, for this righteous act - the first step in this new administration. Amen.

- "The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous will stand." (Proverbs 12:7)

2. Senate confirms Mike Pompeo as CIA director - Washington Post

Mike Pompeo was confirmed as CIA director by the Senate on Monday, putting the conservative Kansas congressman in charge of an agency that is bracing for its most contentious relationship with the White House in decades.

The vote was 66-32.

As CIA director, Pompeo will be responsible for managing a global spying network at a time of escalating security problems, including renewed aggression from Russia, the nuclear ambitions of North Korea and the splintering terrorism threat posed by the Islamic State.

But, at least initially, Pompeo's most vexing task may involve finding a way to establish a functional relationship between the CIA and President Trump. The new commander in chief traveled to CIA headquarters Saturday, in a trip that was an effort to create a fresh start with an agency he has frequently treated with contempt. Instead, what Trump delivered Saturday was a stream-of-consciousness airing of grievances, attacking Democrats and journalists. (Read more)

- Thank You, Jesus that another member of the cabinet has been confirmed. We pray for Your wisdom to rest on Mr. Pompeo. We ask that You would help him to hear Your voice and understand You so that he may fulfill this position with Your power and anointing.

- "There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the Lord's counsel - that will stand." (Proverbs 19:21)

3. GOP senators unveil ObamaCare replacement bill - Fox News

Two Republican senators on Monday unveiled one of the first ObamaCare replacement bills of the new Congress -- a state-centric plan they admit is imperfect but describe as a tangible start to overhauling the 2010 health care law on a bipartisan basis.

"We recognize that our bill is not perfect," said Maine Sen. Susan Collins, who introduced the 2017 Patient Freedom Act with Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy, a physician and fellow Republican. "We need comprehensive legislation," Collins continued. "It's still a work in progress. But if we don't start putting specific legislation on the table that can be debated, refined, amended and enacted, then we will fail the American people."

The senators introduced the bill amid a host of pending alternatives from fellow congressional Republicans, including from Georgia Rep. Tom Price, Trump's pick to run the Department of Health and Human Services, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, also a doctor. Among the highlights of the plan are measures allowing states to continue to offer ObamaCare, urging "price transparency" on medical procedures, keeping existing subsidies and tax credits provided in the 2010 law and extending coverage to 30 million more uninsured Americans. (Read more)

- Lord we ask that only Your will be done with this healthcare bill. Let this new bill and all like it not be a burden on Americans, let it be a help to us.

- "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:30)

4. Trump Signs Executive Order on Federal Hiring Freeze - Newsmax

President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order putting a freeze on hiring and wage increases for some federal government workers. The order fulfilled a promise Trump made during his campaign.

The hiring freeze excludes military and national security employees.

The new president has vowed to take on the federal bureaucracy and the action could be the first step in an attempt to curtail government employment. The memorandum signed by Trump's is similar to one that President George W. Bush signed at the start of his administration in 2001. (Read more)

- Father, we rejoice that this action may indeed slow down the growth of the Federal bureaucracy. We pray for the President to have wisdom in all of these actions.

- "I will pay my vows to the Lord now in the presence of all His people." (Psalm 116:18)

5. Trump to sign executive order to withdraw from TPP - The Hill

President Donald Trump's first executive action on Monday will be to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Trump vowed before he assumed office to withdraw from the TPP trade agreement as his first order of business in the White House.

He called the TPP a "potential disaster for our country" and said he prefers bilateral trade deals.

TPP was President Obama's signature trade deal and the one he had hoped to push through Congress before leaving office. Withdrawing from it would unravel years of work and inject fresh uncertainty into global relations. (Read more)

- Oh Father, after eight long years, it is now such a JOY to pray over today's headlines - many of which are now the answers to many years of heartfelt prayers by many of Your children. Thank You, once again, Abba Father, for this answer of prayer as well. In Your Name, we offer praise, amen.

- "All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you." (Psalm 145:10)

6. Reform, Repeal: House Conservatives Are More Than Ready for their New Commander in Chief - Breaking Christian News

Over two-thirds of current members of the House of Representatives have never served under a Republican president. Now that the 115th Congress is officially in session, House conservatives are more than ready for a commander-in-chief who will turn their bills into law.

Republicans have hit the ground running, preparing to take full advantage of their three-branch control. On the top of the conservative priority list is repealing Obamacare. Budget resolutions that dismantle the act have already passed in both the House and Senate, but not all Republicans supported them.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-KY, one of the few who voted against party lines, says he's in favor of repealing the law as soon as possible, but not if it adds $9 trillion to the debt. "My point to them was why don't we introduce a budget that actually balances," Paul said. "My hope is that at the same time we repeal Obamacare, which I will vote for, we also have a separate vote on replacing Obamacare."

Another pressing matter is boosting the military. "We need to rebuild our military. It's in very bad shape. It's been cut by 21 percent," Sen. John McCain, R-AZ, chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, explained. "Other adversaries have increased their capabilities to the point that they're closing the gap between ourselves and them." (Read more)

- Lord, we are grateful for a new Congress, and a new President. We ask that Your Spirit hover over them and grant them the ability to work toward Your path, Your Will in these bills. We speak peace to them, we plead for Wisdom as we go forward.

- "Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil." (Proverbs 4:25-27)

7. FBI Director Comey, Who Angered Democrats, Gets Hug from Trump - Newsmax

FBI Director James Comey upset Democrats over the email drama that engulfed Democrat Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. On Sunday, he got a hug from President Donald Trump. It occurred at a reception for law enforcement and security officials in the White House Blue Room on Trump's second full day as president.

Trump saw Comey in the audience and called out to him. Comey then strode up to Trump, who shook his hand and gave him a hug. "He's become more famous than me," Trump said with a chuckle.

Comey sent a letter to the U.S. Congress only days before the Nov. 8 election announcing that he was reinstating an investigation into whether Clinton mishandled classified information when she used a private email server while secretary of state from 2009 to 2012. The FBI director announced a week later that he had reviewed a new batch of emails and decided there was no new indication that a prosecution was needed, but the political damage was already done. Days after the election, Clinton privately blamed Comey for her shock defeat, telling donors that Trump was able to seize on both of Comey's announcements and use them to attack her. (Read more)

- Father, James Comey became a controversial figure during the elections. We pray that if there are areas that need healing within the FBI, please do so. We ask for Your Presence and intervention in the Justice Department .

- "The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out." (Proverbs 13:9)

8. Majority of 230 protesters arrested on Inauguration Day - Daily Mail

Each will face 10 years in prison and $25k fine as US attorney says they will be charged with felony rioting

Most of the 230 rioters arrested after violent protests erupted in Washington D.C. following Donald Trump's inauguration will be charged with felony rioting, federal prosecutors said on Saturday.

The charge carries a punishment of up to ten years in jail and a $25,000 fine.

Thousand of protesters launched a violent rampage just blocks away from the White House as anti-Trump demonstrators smashed store windows, set fire to cars and threw bricks at police. (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord that these rioters may face some serious punishment for their anarchist actions. Maybe as a captive audience in prison, they may have time to reflect on their actions, and have a vision of whatever can change their hearts.

- "In disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, fear came upon me and trembling, which made all my bones shake." (Job 4:13,14)

9. Secret Service now involved in Madonna threat against Trump - WND

Donald Trump has been president of the United States for only three days, and it appears "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is exploding nationwide with numerous threats against the commander in chief as well as those perceived to support him.

The U.S. Secret Service has reportedly opened an investigation into the case of pop star Madonna, who publicly declared Saturday that she herself has "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House."

A spokesman for the Secret Service told the Gateway Pundit the agency is aware of the comment by Madonna during a large women's protest against Trump held in Washington, D.C. "The spokesman said an investigation would be opened but that the decision to prosecute rests with the U.S. Attorney's office," the Gateway Pundit reported.

Threatening a U.S. president is a serious crime and a class E felony. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the president of the United States." (Read more)

- Lord we thank You that finally there is an investigation into this kind of vicious rhetoric that threatens our President and even our nation. Even as she tries to back pedal her remarks, let her know the severity of them and give her vision of the consequences.

- "Lord make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am." (Psalm 39:4)

10. Tornado Destroys East Jerusalem - But it's not what you think- Breaking Israel News

A tornado hit East Jerusalem on Saturday, and it received very little media coverage - possibly because it was East Jerusalem, Mississippi, and not its more famous namesake. Yet as the world argues over the fate of East Jerusalem in Israel, it seems that the fates of the two cities, with identical names on opposite sides of the globe, are remarkably intertwined.

Over the weekend, a massive hurricane in the American south created a tornado which ripped through Hattiesburg, Mississippi, killing four and ravaging East Jerusalem, a small Hattiesburg neighborhood with a peculiar name whose history is oddly connected to its Jerusalem cousin.

Like its American counterpart, Israel's East Jerusalem was also recently a target. Just a few weeks ago, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) passed a resolution declaring it illegal for Jews to live there. But this is not the first time the two were simultaneously targeted: four years ago, in February of 2013, another tornado in Hattiesburg coincided with another anti-Israel UN resolution, which called for Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria to be immediately withdrawn without preconditions. (Read more)

- Father we often do not understand the significance of prophetic events, but in this case that tie to the spirit realm may be very real. We pray for Your mercy and comfort over this Mississippi town, and ask you to protect Your people in East Jerusalem in Israel as well. In your judgments, remember mercy.

- "O, Lord revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy." (Habakkuk 3:2b)

Left's dark take on Trump speech exposes graft to light

The Marxist globalist left's talking points across the Democratic Party and the mainstream news media characterized President Donald Trump's inauguration speech as "dark" and "Hitlerian," but in reality his populist speech exposed the establishment's cabal of graft and corruption to the light. Again, these perpetrators of darkness continue to project what they have been doing for decades as something evil when it exposes their deeds. Perhaps most Americans have over spiritualized the very physical manifestation of Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Trump plainly said in some 16 minutes what America and the rest of the world have been experiencing without exception prior to and immediately after the presidency of Ronald Reagan-"For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished -- but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered -- but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land."
It took great courage to say these words when the very generations of those complicit in what Trump exposed were sitting right behind him-from Jimmy Carter to both Bush's to the Clintons to the immediate past "president," all participated in a corrupt globalist agenda that worked counter to the well-being of every American they swore to uphold and protect, so help them God. The oath of office didn't mean anything to them because "God" in their public statements was whatever anybody thought at any given time. They all have said that allah and God were the same, indicating they were no respecter of the one true God and that their "god" was the god of this world. They showed by their actions the realm of wickedness in high places.
For the past eight years in particular, Americans have heard nothing but lectures of how bad we are, how Christians were akin to radical insurgents, how we were culpable for all the woes on earth. The highlight of the globalist agenda was to demonize all that is good and celebrate all that is evil, and wrap it in some strange form of patriotism. No, Trump's speech was not dark, it was exposing these people and their agenda to the light so that all can see. The immediate response from the antichrist crowd was to swear to fight him at every juncture, a call for no quarter. All of God's people are in a battle against this spiritual wickedness. Trump set a record for the number of prayers lifted up on inauguration day. Let us solemnly engage by not allowing others to speak evil of our good. May we shine the light of Christ across our land.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The Sound of Lions Roaring

On Inauguration Day, I Heard the Sound of Lions Roaring

By Jennifer LeClaire, Charisma News

But in that moment, there was more than the sound of victory-there was the sound of lions roaring in the spirit. When Trump decreed and declared so emphatically, "There should be no fear. We are protected, and we will always be protected . . . by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement. And most importantly, we will be protected by God," roars echoed in the spirit.

It wasn't Trump's roar. It wasn't the roar of false prophets with conspiracy theories who try to wring money from your pocket with fearful predictions that offer no hope of redemption or mercy.

No, it was the sound of the Lord roaring from on high, uttering His voice from His holy habitation (Jer. 25:30). It was the sound of God Almighty roaring from Zion, reminding us He is a refuge and stronghold for His people (Joel 3:16).

I also heard the sound of the enemy roaring with the sting of a setback-and I urge you to keep praying. The enemy's agenda took a massive blow on Friday. We won a battle, but we're still fighting a spiritual war against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6).

Remember, 1 Peter 5:8 tells us, "Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
God has shown forth His mercy on America, just as the true prophets of God with a reverent fear of the Lord proclaimed despite being laughed to scorn as the mainstream media manipulated the news to portray Hillary Clinton as a shoe-in.
As Amos 3:8 puts it, "The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy?"

I prophesy to you, in the name of Jesus, we will see more divine interventions in the days ahead. We're in a Kairos moment. It's an opportune time. We're on the precipice of a Third Great Awakening. There's just one condition. We must continue with the heart posture of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Classic Hymns:
THOU ART COMING, O MY SAVIOR

"I come quickly." (Revelation 22:20)

Lyrics

Thou art coming, O my Savior, Thou art coming, O my king, In Thy beauty all resplendent, In Thy glory all transcendent; Well may we rejoice and sing: Coming! in the opening east Herald brightness slowly swells; Coming! O my glorious priest, Hear we not Thy golden bells?

Thou art coming, Thou art coming; We shall meet Thee on Thy way, We shall see Thee, we shall know Thee, We shall bless Thee, we shall show Thee All our hearts could never say! What an anthem that will be, Ringing out our love to Thee, Pouring out our rapture sweet At Thine own all glorious feet!
Thou art coming! Rays of glory Through the veil Thy death has rent, Touch the mountain and the river With a golden glowing quiver, Thrill of light and music blent. Earth is brightened when this gleam Falls on flower, rock, and stream; Life is brightened when this ray Falls upon its darkest day.
Not a cloud and not a shadow, Not a mist and not a tear, Not a sin and not a sorrow, For that sunrise grand and clear! Jesus, Savior, once with Thee, Nothing else seems worth a thought! Oh, how marvelous will be All the bliss Thy pain hath bought! (To read all lyrics, please go here.)

Signs and Wonders

Space weather forecasters remain vigilant in 2017 for potentially crippling solar storms

As ridiculous as it sounds, the fiery, roiling sun was "tame" in 2016. It spewed very few solar storms and had minimal impact on our electrical, digital life on Earth. Our star is in a declining phase of activity - it sounds good on paper, but seemingly quiet moments on the sun can still produce crippling geomagnetic storms.

Huge eruptions of radiation and plasma from the surface of the sun can, if headed toward Earth, impact or bring down the electrical grid, radio communications, GPS and other satellite services and increase radiation exposure for passengers on high-latitude flights. And they can last for days to weeks to months, depending on the strength of the invisible storm.
One such storm in 2012 was particularly concerning - the near-miss was moving even faster than the historic "Carrington Event" of 1859, scientists speculate. If that type of event happened in the 21st century, some suggest it would knock us back into the stone age. Power would be out. Cellphones and GPS would be dead. If left unprepared, electrical infrastructure over a large portion of the globe would go dark and could stay that way for weeks or months.
The financial impact of an event like this is catastrophic. A study published this week found that a "blackout" event would cost $40 billion per day - more than half of which would accumulate outside the main region of impact. (The Gazette UK) Read more here.

"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." (Luke 21:25)

The Good News Corner

Billy Graham's Granddaughter, Cissie Graham Lynch: Millennials Must Stand Strong for the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Washington, DC)-[Billy Graham Evangelistic Association] Cissie Graham Lynch, flanked by fellow millennials, stood before a packed congregation during Thursday's special inauguration prayer event at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Washington, DC.

"Dear God, I lift up a generation who seeks truth," the daughter of Franklin Graham and granddaughter of Billy Graham prayed. Behind her, members of the millennial generation-her generation-prayed right alongside her; some with arms outstretched.

"Lord, I pray that they proclaim Your Name boldly and will not be ashamed for the Name of Jesus Christ," Cissie continued. "Lord, I pray that they will study Your Word to know what it says, to know what is truth so they can teach, correct and rebuke a forever compromising world that will tell them they're wrong. Lord, I pray that they will cling to You and Your Word only."

Cissie's prayer was one of many shared during the service, which focused on lifting up the nation in eight primary ways before Inauguration Day. Cissie's father, Franklin Graham, read Scripture during the official ceremony on Friday, and she followed in the footsteps of her grandfather and father by praying during the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Service on Saturday.
