"Standing Together in the Kingdom of God . . . Under the Cross of Christ"

Congratulations, Mr. President!

"First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers ... be made
... for kings and all who are in authority ..."
(I Timothy 2:1,2)

Congratulations, Mr. President!

Congratulations, Mr. President!

Dear Friends,

Yesterday, we were all blessed to witness one feature that makes our nation great: the peaceful transfer of power. Throughout the entire day, as we witnessed the swearing-in of our new president and vice-president; the congressional luncheon that followed in their honor; the magnificent Inaugural parade that marched down Pennsylvania Avenue, and finally the balls last night, our hearts were thrilled with joy and with pride to witness, once again, what it means to be an American citizen.

Praise the Lord!
Tonight, we dedicate this Special Edition of the Daily Brief to our new President, Donald Trump; to our new Vice-President, Mike Pence, and to this great day in our nation.
As you study this edition, you will find several articles of particular interest to intercessors, as well as a summary of tools for prayer that have now been made available by several other ministries, covering both the First 100 Days of the Trump administration, and more . . .
May each one of you be richly blessed as you lift up prayers for "all in authority" in this new year. Your prayers ARE availing much!
In His Amazing Grace,

Sara Ballenger, Founder and President

A Prayer for Our President

A Prayer for Our President

Father God, we are overwhelmed by Your goodness and mercy. Thank You so much for our President, Donald Trump and his wife Melania, their children and grandchildren. Thank you for the great relief and peace that we are feeling today and the comfort that our new President spoke to us yesterday in his inaugural address . . . to not be afraid, that our military and police forces will protect us, but most of all GOD will protect us.

How beautiful were those words spoken from the abundance of his heart. May he always fear You and Your Word, and place You above the over abundant and endless opinions of men who want their way, and not Yours. Bless Mr. Trump´s presidency with Your wisdom, grace and great favor, here and all over the world. Change the hearts of those who feel so hopeless today and help them to swiftly see that righteousness exalts a nation while sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer of thanksgiving today, amen.

"The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the Name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel." ~Psalm 20:1-4

PRAYER REQUEST:

Father, we thank You for raising up these fine ministries, who are working so diligently to help all of us "pray in the spirit and with understanding" for all of our leaders on Capitol Hill and throughout the federal government.

We ask that You equip each one and bless the work of their hands, in Your name, amen.

A VERSE TO DECREE

"What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also." (I Corinthians 14:15)
