9/11 . . . 15 Years Later

" . . . and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
(Matthew 28:20)

Remembering 9/11

Nationwide Conference Call on 9/11

An Open Invitation to the Body of Christ

9/11 . . . 15 YEARS LATER

National Conference Call Prayer

Sunday Evening, Sept 11, 9-11 pm Eastern Call:

712-432-0075
Code: 6149782#
Mute: *6

It has been almost 15 years since the horrific attack against America on the morning September 11, 2001 - The day that we will never forget. The day that dramatically shifted the course of the nations. As followers for the Lord Jesus Christ, 9/11 is a reminder that we do not have control of our lives. We never did and we never will. 9/11 is a reminder that we must trust in Christ alone and lead others to the One who offers true life eternal. 9/11 is a reminder that we must pray, live holy lives, and go about the Father's business of transforming our families, communities, and nation.
On 9/11 . . . 15 YEARS LATER, let us gather across our nation to declare: (1) Our thanksgiving and praise to our life giving Lord; (2) Our total dependency upon Him alone; (3) Our commitment to live holy lives before God and all those around us; and (4) Our passion to reach our neighbors, including those with Muslim background, with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

On Sunday, September 11, 2016, let us desperately seek God's face for the deliverance and destiny of America.

You are invited to a national conference call prayer gathering across America on the evening of 15th Anniversary of 9/11, Sunday, September 11, 2016, 9-11 pm Eastern. We will do so by connecting with various servant leaders along the National Interstate Highway System. Confirmed servant leaders (see the list below and posted on www.nationalhighwayofprayer.net) will be asked to represent their cities/states and lead us in prayer as we look to heaven with hearts devoted to our Lord and Savior. We will begin with prayers of entering into His Courts with corporate praise for He is always worthy of our worship no matter the trials and tribulations. Then, we will offer prayers of devoting our hearts and lives to the Only True God of the Universe. Our final prayer focus will be towards building the "Highway of Holiness" together in Christ for we have been created and saved by Him unto to good works of transforming of our families, neighborhoods, cities, nation, and beyond.
Please join us for the solemn assembly 9/11. . . 15 YEARS LATER using 712-432-0075, access code 6149782#.
May the Word of the Lord spoken to Israel in Isaiah 62:10 become reality in our individual hearts, within the Body of Christ, along every Interstate corridor, throughout our nation, and impact every person in this generation!
Pass through, pass through the gates!

Prepare the way for the people.

Build up, build up the highway!

Remove the stones.

Raise a banner for the nations.

On 9/11/16: Cry Out America!

On 9/11/16: Cry Out America!

Cry Out America is an annual day of prayer initiated after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Our goal is to join every state, every county, every church, and every heart together in earnest prayer for America. On September 11th, believers from across the nation gather at state capitols, county courthouses, churches, and community centers to pray for a spiritual awakening.

Awaken our nation

"Then he returned to the disciples and found them asleep. He said to Peter, "Couldn't you watch with me even one hour?" (Matthew 26:40)

> > > NATIONAL PRAYER ACCORD < < <

We strongly urge all churches and followers of Jesus in America to unite in seeking the face of God through prayer and fasting, persistently asking our Father to send revival to the Church and spiritual awakening to our nation so that Christ's Great Commission might be fulfilled worldwide in our generation.

This voluntary agreement in prayer seems "good to the Holy Spirit and to us" (Acts 15:28) in light of the promise of Jesus in Matthew 18:19 and the unity for which Jesus prayed in John 17. This prayer accord presupposes a spirit of freedom to adjust its component parts as local Christians see need. Though many are seeking God more often than this prayer accord outlines, calling millions of others around focused times of prayer is an urgent need.

A Message from Kay Horner,

National COA Coordinator, Executive Director

"If you have not yet taken the opportunity to register as a participating ministry with CRY OUT AMERICA, we would love for you to take a few moments and click here, then select your state and county.

We would love for everyone to acknowledge their engagement in prayer with thousands of other ministries throughout the nation. This makes a huge statement about our desire for unified, prevailing prayer."

Prayers, Events, Displays, and Broadcasts to Mark 15th Anniversary of 9/11

Churches are Urged to Take 11 Minutes During their Services Tomorrow to Pray for the Nation

This Sunday will mark the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks that devastated the nation, and Dr. Ronnie Floyd, Senior Pastor of Cross Church, is urging church leaders to devote 11 minutes to an hour of their worship service for a time of prayer for the nation.

"The churches of America need to pray for our country in our worship services. Not just mention it, not just pray, but pray extraordinarily," Floyd proclaimed in a public call to prayer last month.

"Surely, as the churches in America, we can agree on one major thing: America needs prayer now!" he added. "Surely we can unite on this day to call out to God for our nation. In this desperate hour in America, we need to see Sunday, September 11, as a day to pray for America."

> > > In Murfreesboro, Tennessee, World Outreach Church (WOC) will be holding an event titled "Give Thanks Nashville," which will feature Eric Metaxas, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Michael W. Smith, and more.

Though not originally planned as an event related to 9/11, WOC Pastor G. Allen Jackson said the scheduling "seems like a time appointed by God."

"We all respond automatically to this calendar date because it is a special time of reflection and honor - a time of re-thinking and restoring, that of passion and unending thankfulness to those who bravely turned one of the darkest days of history into thankfulness," expressed Jackson in a press release. "September 11th is not forgotten. With God's help we will have the know-how to overcome despair by raising the banner of hope. This is the objective of the Give Thanks Event."

> > > Meanwhile, in Greenville, South Carolina, Bob Jones University (BJU) will commemorate the 2,977 lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, with a display of American flags at the front of the campus - one for each of the victims who perished in the attacks.

In addition, two beacon lights will represent the World Trade Center towers, and in front of the beacons, a wall of remembrance will feature the names of the 2,977. Furthermore, a piece of steel girder from the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City will be publicly displayed in the University's Welcome Center.

"Fifteen years ago, the world was forever changed by the attacks on 9/11," said BJU President Steve Pettit in a statement on the school's blog. "It is my hope that these displays will honor those who lost their lives that horrific day in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania."

> > > Ambassador Advertising is also making available an artistic rendering that it commissioned to remind believers of the eternal perspective following the events of 9/11.

In particular, the piece reminds believers that:

- we are called to compassion;

- we are surrounded by ordinary citizens who, on perhaps the darkest day of our country's history, chose to respond in extraordinary measure;

- we are uniquely blessed to live in the United States of America, where our privilege to speak Truth remains upheld;

and most of all - despite grief, fear, anger, confusion - our eternal confidence is in the God of the Universe, who reigns indeed!

TONIGHT!! A Special Prayer Canopy

TONIGHT!!

A Special Prayer Canopy:

"Where Were YOU on 9/11?"

We can all recall exactly what we were doing on the morning of Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 . . . when the news first reached us that an airplane had flown into Tower One of the World Trade Center . . .

and then came Tower Two . . .

and then the Pentagon . . .

and finally, Shanksville, Pennsylvania

We remember, and we mourn . . .

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners will host a special Prayer Canopy TONIGHT, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and ending no later than 9:00 p.m., allowing us all to remember that day, to reflect on its meaning to us now, and to pray for the protection of the United States of America from further terror attacks.

Sara Ballenger will host this call, joined by several of our regular prayer leaders on our regular, nightly Prayer Canopies.

All are welcome to join, by calling the conference line at:

605-562-2140

Access Code: 290787#

(The following quote is from FRC)

So as we mark the 15th anniversary of 9/11, we remember . . . all of the men and women who died simply for being Americans, representing beliefs and freedoms that these terrorists hate but beliefs and freedoms that can overcome evil.

We pray, 15 years later, that just as concrete memorials have been built at Ground Zero in New York and in Pennsylvania, and the stone walls of the Pentagon have been rebuilt in DC, so too are we building our resolve that those we lost will be truly honored, not just in memorials, but in the ultimate victory for faith, family, and freedom.

So let us dedicate ourselves afresh in the sight of God to that bold cause and that holy calling, and in the immortal words of Todd Beamer: "Let's Roll"
