On the Campaign Trail

On the Campaign Trail
1. Clinton Cancels Campaign Trip To California After Pneumonia Diagnosis - Huffington Post

Hillary Clinton canceled a trip she was scheduled to take to California on Monday for fundraising and other campaign events, an aide said, declining to provide further details about her schedule for the week.

Clinton, 68, was diagnosed on Friday but her condition only came to light several hours after a video on social media appeared to show her swaying and her knees buckling before being helped into a motorcade as she left the memorial early Sunday.

Clinton had a medical examination when she got back to her home in Chappaqua, New York, according to a campaign aide. Her doctor, Lisa Bardack, said in a statement that she has been experiencing a cough related to allergies and that an examination on Friday showed it was pneumonia.

. . . Political strategists said the campaign should confront the health issue head-on to tamp down any concerns, particularly as Republican rival Donald Trump and some of his high-profile supporters have repeatedly argued that she lacked the "stamina" to battle adversaries abroad. (Read more)

2. Clinton's self-inflicted wound: Misleading the press about her pneumonia - Fox News

Just when Hillary Clinton was stepping up her complaints about media bias, it turns out her bigger problem is media aversion.

The way in which the Democratic nominee and her team utterly botched the belated disclosure of her pneumonia took a modest problem and made it a thousand times worse. It reinforced the image of excessive secrecy and calculated non-disclosure that has dogged Clinton throughout this campaign. It made a mockery of the campaign's criticism of conservative critics who were speculating that she was really sick. (Read more)

3. Clinton allies criticize campaign over health secrecy - The Hill

A lack of transparency about her health has turned what might have been a non-issue into a hugely problematic storyline for Hillary Clinton that could plague the Democratic presidential nominee into November, say allies and confidants.

Clinton's campaign sought to deal with the fallout on Monday of damaging video that showed Clinton's knees buckling and Secret Service agents helping her into a van. The campaign later revealed that the Democratic nominee was suffering from pneumonia.

David Axelrod, who served as a senior adviser to President Obama, slapped Clinton and the campaign for unnecessarily withholding information from the public. "Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia," Axelrod wrote on Twitter. "What's the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems?" (Read more)

4. Democrats 'meeting in secret' to pick Hillary replacement - WND

PALM BEACH, Florida - In the wake of Hillary Clinton's physical collapse on Sept. 11 - which her campaign blames on pneumonia - some journalists are reporting secret, high-level meetings are taking place among Democrats to consider a possible replacement for Mrs. Clinton at the top of the presidential ticket, should the need arise.

Among the reporters making the claim is David Shuster, an Emmy-award winning journalist based in New York City who formerly worked for MSNBC.

After Sunday's episode where Clinton apparently fainted in the arms of Secret Service agents after she was spirited away from a 9/11 ceremony, Shuster posted numerous tweets about the machinations of the Democrats.

Shuster has since tweeted on Monday that it appears Vice President Joe Biden would be the likely choice to run at the top of the Democrat ticket if Hillary withdraws, and that Bernie Sanders' team is "scrambling." (Read more)

5. Trump denounces Clinton for 'deplorables' comment, calls on her to 'retract' remarks - Fox News

Donald Trump set aside the speculation over Hillary Clinton's health Monday afternoon and shifted focus back to his opponent's demeaning comments about his supporters -- questioning her credibility as a candidate after "attacking Americans who have no political power."

In a blistering speech in Baltimore, Trump made no mention of Clinton abruptly leaving a 9/11 memorial Sunday because of a medical emergency, instead hammering away at her for saying Friday that half his supporters belong in a "basket of deplorables."

"Hillary Clinton spoke with hatred and derision for the people who make this country run," the Republican nominee said. "She spoke with contempt for the people who thanklessly follow the rules, pay their taxes, and scratch out a living for their families." (Read more)

6. Clinton, Trump to release medical details after Hillary episode at 9/11 ceremony - Fox News

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both are planning to release additional personal health information, after Clinton experienced a medical episode Sunday that forced her to leave a 9/11 anniversary ceremony early -- and after Trump said Monday morning that candidate health is now an "issue" in this campaign.

Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said on MSNBC that the campaign will release more information in the next couple days.

Trump told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" earlier Monday morning that he'll be releasing "very, very specific" details from a recent physical.

"I think they're going to be good. I feel great," he said. Fox News has learned Trump plans to release those details during his appearance Thursday on "The Dr. Oz Show." (Read more)

7. Clinton's Deplorable Comment - Gary Bauer

While speaking Friday evening at an "LGBT For Hillary Gala," which featured a performance by Barbara Streisand, Clinton said this about conservatives supporting Donald Trump:

"You could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. . . The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic -- you name it. . . some of those folks, they are irredeemable."

Calling millions of conservatives "deplorable" and "irredeemable" -- that is deplorable!

Her campaign quickly realized how damaging the comment was. After all, her campaign slogan is "Stronger Together." Well, clearly, she's not trying to bring us together. She's trying to unite the left while she destroys conservatives!

Saturday, Hillary admitted she was wrong, sort of. She said, "I regret saying 'half.' That was wrong." Really? That's it? So her math was off, but her condescending attitude toward conservatives was just fine. (Excerpt)

7. Trump Fires Back - Gary Bauer

Addressing the National Guard Association today, Donald Trump fired back, saying:

"We have the support of cops and soldiers, carpenters and welders, the young and the old, and millions of working-class families who just want a better future. These were the people Hillary Clinton so viciously demonized. These were among the countless Americans that Hillary Clinton called 'deplorable,' 'irredeemable' and 'un-American.' She called these patriotic men and women every vile name in the book. . . She divides people into baskets as though they were objects, not human beings."

2. Senator Lindsey Graham Blocking Historical Israel-US Defense Deal - Breaking Israel News

The ten-year, billion-dollar military defense deal between the US and Israel, which US Ambassador Dan Shapiro said on Sunday would be signed very soon, is being held up by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), the Washington Post reported.

Israeli and American officials have been negotiating the next Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for months, eventually settling on a decade-long deal which the US says would increase Israel's military aid package from $3.1 billion to $3.3 billion. US officials have called it "the largest single pledge of military assistance to any country in US history."

However, while complete, the deal has yet to be signed and sealed, though senior Israeli official Brig. Gen. (res.) Yaakov Nagel traveled to Washington in July for the last round of talks before finalization (Read more)

3. IDF braces for possible new wave of terror attacks during holidays - World Israel News

The IDF is preparing for the possible renewal of the wave of Palestinian terror attacks against Israelis as the High Holidays marking the Jewish New Year approach and as Israel will mark a year since the outbreak of the year-long wave of Palestinian violence.

Israel has experienced several weeks of relative quiet after several deadly attacks at the end of June and the beginning of July, but the IDF fears the Palestinians will renew their attacks around the pending Jewish holidays, and with greater intensity.

Most of the terror attacks carried out in the past year were committed by individuals who were not affiliated with or supported by a terrorist organization, using knives, axes, cars and other such weapons and not firearms. (Read more)

4. Report: Netanyahu and Erdogan will meet - Israel National News

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet for the first time since the 2010 Mavi Marmara incident, Channel 1 News reported on Sunday.

According to the report, the meeting will take place next week in New York during the UN General Assembly.

The meeting was agreed upon in secret contacts between Jerusalem and Ankara and was made possible after Erdogan added his signature to the reconciliation agreement signed between the two countries, according to Channel 1. (Read more)

5. Israel, PA to sign deal resolving electricity debt - Israel National News

Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) will sign an agreement on Tuesday that will resolve a long-standing dispute over the PA's enormous debts to the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC), Haaretz reported on Monday night.

A senior Israeli official quoted by the newspaper said the agreement will involve erasing hundreds of millions of shekels of the debt, which currently runs to around 2 billion shekels ($530 million).

The senior official, who asked to remain anonymous, said the PA will agree to pay about 500 million shekels to the IEC immediately. (Read more)

6. Why is Bank Leumi telling foreigners to close their accounts? And what's the link to Israel's malignant black economy? - Times of Israel

All over the Diaspora, owners of holiday apartments in Israel were surprised this past spring to receive a letter from Bank Leumi.

"Dear Customer," it read, "We wish to inform you that in light of the increased exposure of Israeli banking corporations to compliance risks deriving from cross-border banking activities, and in accordance with Bank of Israel instructions in this matter, the Bank has concluded that it will not continue to maintain accounts of foreign residents with a balance of less that $50,000, or the equivalent thereof."

Recipients of the letter were then instructed to either pony up the extra cash to bring their account to $50,000 or close their account altogether. (Read more)

7. Breaking! Top Israeli defense official in US to sign massive military aid deal - Times of Israel

The acting head of Israel's National Security Council, Yaakov Nagel, touched down in Washington, DC, on Tuesday to sign a 10-year defense aid package deal with the US, according to Hebrew media reports.

The defense package, known as the memorandum of understanding, is reportedly set at $38 billion, with Israel pledging not to seek additional funding from Congress for the next decade. It also includes a provision curtailing Israel's ability to spend the funds on its own arms industry over the next six years, Channel 2 reported Monday. (Read more)

8. Analysis: Is an Israeli-Syrian military conflict on the horizon? - Jerusalem Post

It is still too soon to determine if the Syrian Army's firing of missiles at IAF aircraft before dawn on Tuesday in the Quneitra region signifies a policy shift by the Assad regime in regard to Israeli military activity in the area.

This determination can be made if similar fire is carried out the next time the IAF or IDF gunners attack in response to mortar shells or artillery fire that lands in Israeli territory.

However, one thing is already clear: The firing of two S-200 surface-to-air missiles was not a coincidence. The Syrian Army released an official statement on the incident.

This is the first known instance of Assad's army retaliating to Israeli military activity in Syrian territory since the country's civil war began some five-and-a-half years ago. (Read more)

9. Israeli officials not invited to UN Middle East peace seminar - Israel Hayom

The United Nations Public Information Department recently held an International Media Seminar on Peace in the Middle East in Pretoria, South Africa, but neglected to invite any official Israeli representatives, according to Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon. Film directors, journalists, politicians, academics and experts in a variety of fields were invited to the three-day seminar to explore "new ways to narrate the complex and evolving story of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

Despite the notable lack of Israeli officials, the Palestinian representative to the United Nations and former Palestinian ambassador to the European Union participated extensively in the seminar.

"The vast majority of the speakers at the seminar are known for having anti-Israel stances," Danon said, adding that BDS activists played a significant role in the event. (Read more)

- Yeshuah, we again see that men think that they are the ones to bring peace but You are the only One to bring this to pass. Forgive the audacity of the Palestinians and their BDF movements as they lie about wanting peace. Your Word says that You laugh at those who think they are greater than You. May You continue to separate these goats from Your sheep for all the world to see as You unravel the mysteries and show them to Your people. May Your true peace hover over Israel as Your country stands alone awaiting the victory!

- "And it will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people; all who would heave it away will surely be cut to pieces, though all the nations of the earth are gathered against it." (Zechariah 12:3)

The Daily Brief

Please note:
Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

1. White House: Obama will veto 9/11 bill - The Hill

President Obama will veto legislation allowing the families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S. courts, the White House said Monday.

"That is still the plan. The president does plan to veto this legislation," press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters. "I do anticipate the president will veto the legislation when it is presented to him. It hasn't been presented to him yet."

Those comments are the clearest indication yet Obama plans to reject the bipartisan legislation, opening up the possibility Congress could override an Obama veto for the first time.

Earnest had strongly hinted for the past several months that the president will veto the bill, but he had not issued a full veto threat before. But Earnest reiterated the White House's fear that the measure would open up U.S. citizens to legal action overseas if foreign countries pass reciprocal measures. "This law actually opens up the United States to the risk of being hauled into court in countries around the world," he said.

The bill's authors believe they have the votes to override Obama's veto; the legislation passed unanimously by voice vote in both the House and Senate. (Read more)

- Father God, we are not intimidated by Josh Earnest's remarks in the wake of the passage of this bill. We do not fear being "hauled into international courts" in future cases, as he has threatened. Rather, we stand by the right of our citizens to sue Saudi Arabia -- the home of the nineteen jihadists that perpetrated all the attacks of 9/11 -- and to have their own day in court.

We call forth the 2/3 votes in both chambers of Congress that are needed to override this veto, and we say, let this be done in the name of our King, Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen and amen!

- "What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways." (Job 22:28)

2. Hollande: US response to 9/11 increased the global terror threat - Times of Israel

PARIS, France - America's response to the 9/11 attacks augmented rather than defeated the jihadist threat, with the consequences of the Iraq war now being felt in terror-scarred France, President Francois Hollande said Sunday, as the US marked the 15th anniversary of the devastating attacks in New York and Washington, DC.

In a Facebook post commemorating the victims of the attacks, Hollande echoed a famous front-page headline from Le Monde newspaper on the day after the suicide plane strikes. "Yes, on that day, we were all Americans," he wrote.

But the Socialist leader, whose country has been rocked by a string of extremist attacks in the past year-and-a-half, was also fiercely critical of the US riposte. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for our elected leaders to take responsibility for their own mistakes and change course for the protection of the people they represent. May they model humility and reverence for You.

- "Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you; be courageous and act." (Ezra 10:4)

3. Rubio demands documents from Obama proving Iran money was not 'ransom' - Fox News

Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio is accusing the Obama administration of trying to "deceive" Congress and the American people about roughly $1.7 billion in payments to Iran -- suggesting at least some of the money was a "ransom" for American hostages and demanding official documents for the related transactions.

"Each day brings new revelations about your administration's efforts to deceive Congress and the American people regarding payments of billions of dollars to the world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism," Rubio wrote Saturday in a letter to President Obama. "The America people do not believe the story that your administration did not provide Iran an illicit and potentially illegal ransom payment."

The administration in January announced an agreement between the U.S. and Iran to settle a failed, decades-old arms deal that included Washington returning to Tehran $400 million and an additional $1.3 billion in interest. However, reports in early August revealed the initial $400 million was delivered on Jan. 17 -- the same day Tehran agreed to release four American prisoners. And Republicans are calling it a ransom. (Read more)

- Father God, we eagerly pray for Senator Rubio to have divine guidance in his quest for full revelation of the facts surrounding the payments to the Iranians which seem suspiciously like ransom. Lord, You know what happened and why and we pray that a spirit of truth will be unleashed to reveal any and all wrongdoing in this event. We praise You that the people were released and pray they are overcoming their trauma from being unjustly held. We pray that the Iranians involved with the prisoners will experience salvation from You, Dear Lord.

- "A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies." (Proverbs 14:25)

4. Alarm as Thousands of Islamic State Fighters in Syria, Iraq 'Missing' - Breitbart

"Several Arab and Western espionage agencies have set up a joint situation room to trace thousands of Islamic State fighters who have gone missing in Syria, Iraq and Libya, an Arab intelligence official told Breitbart Jerusalem.

Some of the several hundred IS fighters who took part in the battle of Sirte, in Libya, survived the defeat, as well as fighters in the lost battles of Mosul in Iraq and Manbej, Alrai, Jarabulus and other communities near the Syrian-Turkish border, he said.

According to estimates, the number of IS fighters reached several tens of thousands in those areas, "but the battles did not yield thousands of dead or captured fighters." (Read more)

- Omniscient Lord, we know You see and know all things, and we pray for You to show authorities where these numerous fighters are right now so that they may be apprehended and rendered harmless. In the name of Jesus, we strongly come against all hidden terrorist activities these men may be able to accomplish as they try to filter into various countries. We pray that they will find more peaceful ways to bring needed change to their countries and that they may come to know You as the Prince of Peace for all the world.

- "There is no darkness nor shadow of death where workers of iniquity may hide themselves." (Job 34:22)

5. Hours before truce, Assad vows to retake all of Syria - Times of Israel

Syria's President Bashar Assad vowed to retake all of Syria from "terrorists," hours before a truce brokered by Russia and the United States was due to take hold on Monday. Speaking in Daraya, a former rebel stronghold recently surrendered to the government, Assad said "the Syrian state is determined to recover every area from the terrorists," state media reported. "The armed forces are continuing their work, relentlessly and without hesitation, regardless of internal or external circumstances," he said.

After years of government siege and fighting, its remaining residents and rebel fighters evacuated the town in late August under a deal with the regime, which has since retaken control.

"After five years, some people still haven't woken up from their fantasies," Assad said, referring to the anti-government protests that erupted in Syria in 2011. Some were betting on promises from foreign powers, which will result in nothing," he added. (Read more) (Read more)

- Precious Lord, we look to You to untangle the various factions that are fighting in Syria. Only You can bring peace to the area. We pray for the war-weary citizens of Syria and pray that Your kind of peace will overtake the area. We bind up, in the name of Jesus, any situations that would bring the US and Russia in direct conflict and pray that a vision of peace will prevail. We pray that Assad will begin to rule afresh in a just way that pleases You, Dear Lord. We pray You touch his heart and save Him and the other leaders in Syria.

- "I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war." (Psalms 120:7)

6. Sniper takes out ISIS executioner from a mile away - Fox News

A sharpshooter killed a top ISIS executioner and three other jihadists with a single bullet from nearly a mile away -- just seconds before the fiend was set to burn 12 hostages alive with a flamethrower, according to a new report. The British Special Air Service marksman turned one of the most hated terrorists in Syria into a fireball by using a Barett .50-caliber rifle to strike a fuel tank affixed to the jihadi's back, the UK's Daily Star reported Sunday.

The pack exploded, killing the sadistic terrorist and three of his flunkies, who were supposed to film the execution, last month, the paper said. The ISIS butcher -- who reportedly delighted in burning hostages alive -- had been on a US "kill list" for several months, sources told the paper, which did not identify the sniper or the executioner. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for this report of 12 lives saved from the hands of evil men! We pray these 12 would testify to Your deliverance and power, as they have experienced it so directly.

- "So I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, And I will redeem you from the grasp of the violent." (Jeremiah 15:21)

7. At least 90 killed in Syria, including 28 children, after ceasefire plan announced - CNN

At least 90 people were killed in airstrikes that rained down on northwestern Syria on Saturday and Sunday, a rights group said. The surge in violence came just hours after the US and Russia announced a new ceasefire plan.

The airstrikes landed in the rebel-held areas of Idlib in the northwest and Aleppo in the north of the country, according to the monitoring group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The worst strikes were in Idlib, where at least 61 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in an attack that targeted a crowded market, an activist who witnessed the bombing and its aftermath told CNN. (Read more)

- God Almighty, We are so sorry for those who have lost their lives in this horrible war in Syria. You wish for none to perish -- especially the children. Reveal Yourself to the people of Syria so that they know You as Lord of Lords.

The pains of grief are universal for mothers who have lost their children so we ask You to comfort those who mourn. Father, how can any ceasefire hold when no one asked You what Your plans were? When the US makes deals with untrustworthy nations we can expect wickedness to continue. May all nations come before Your throne in repentance for we know not what will happen tomorrow. We love You, Lord, amen.

- "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Mathew 24: 7-8)

8. North Korea ready for another nuclear test, says South - BBC

South Korean officials have said North Korea could be ready to conduct another nuclear test at any time. The North conducted its fifth underground nuclear test on Friday, thought to be its most powerful yet. A defence ministry spokesman said there was still an unused tunnel at the Punggye-ri test site which could be used for a sixth explosion at any time.

Friday's widely condemned test has ratcheted up tension and led to fierce rhetoric from South Korea. On Sunday, one South Korean military source told the Yonhap news agency that Pyongyang, North Korea's capital, could be annihilated if it showed any signs of mounting a nuclear attack.

While doubts remain over North Korea's claim that it can now mount nuclear warheads on ballistic rockets - meaning it can carry out a nuclear attack - experts say the recent progress is worrying." (Read more)

- Father God, we cry out and ask that a spirit of restraint be released upon NK President Kim Jong Un. Protect us from harm we pray, dear God. We ask that You would release creative solutions to this dilemma to all in authority who can word to reduce the tensions that are coming out of North Korea. We ask for a miracle, Lord, amen.

- "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3)

15 Years after 911 and the prophetic path of America

I am sitting in my office 15 years after the al Qaeda operatives ran two planes into the World Trade Center towers, one plane into the Pentagon, and another was downed in a Pennsylvania field before it could do more damage. The result, nearly 3,000 American citizens met an untimely and brutal death. And where are we today? We have lost thousands of lives conquering and "giving democracy" to people who hate us; We have spent trillions trying to root out the terrorists; our economy is in a shambles; we have elected a president who has favored the Islamists as they overthrew governments across the Middle East; we live in an ever increasing hostile environment; Islam is colonizing America. So who is winning?

America is not mentioned in the Bible. There is no such word, nor nation. A good portion of the Bible is prophetically aimed at the first coming of the Messiah, his life, death and resurrection for the propitiation of our sins, and his second coming in the "Last Day," the "latter days," and "the end." I have often thought that America was a tremendous blessing, a beacon of the light of the Messiah, an evangelist to the world. Our time as a nation has served God's purpose. We have been a defender of Israel, a most valuable player in the Great Commission: "Go ye therefore and teach all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19)."

"We the People" are about to choose yet another president. It is a choice to be made for the future of our nation if we try to align our voting with the candidate that best fits our Christian values. Keep in mind, anyone who says there is more than one way to heaven rejects the central doctrine of Christianity. Anyone who says "Jesus" is a great example to live by, but denies the deity of Christ, is not a Christian. Notwithstanding, we as a people need to exercise our right to vote. Otherwise we will not even begin to turn this nation around. Romans 12:21 says, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." There is, however, an interesting twist at play here.

Because of the actions of America's leaders, Islam is advancing. There is not a more antichrist religion on earth than Islam. Islamic nations are the only ones specifically mentioned in the Bible as coming against Israel and God in the end times. Islam has cost America her wealth, her economy, her sons and daughters, and it continues to fight a decade long war of attrition, the casualties mounting economically, emotionally and spiritually. At the same time, our leaders have assisted the advance of Islam at every turn. While America is a great evangelizer of Christianity, it also has become a great accelerator of Islamic doctrine. In the 15 years after 9/11, America has been on a prophetic path, but it is not the perfect path.

Unfit

According to Webster, the definition of Unfit is: "not proper, suitable, or acceptable: not having the necessary qualities, skills, mental health, etc., to do something: not physically healthy: not in good physical condition." Hillary Clinton proves over and over again that she is unfit to hold the office of President of the United States. Both her mental and physical health have come into question in recent weeks, enough now that a former Democratic Party Chairman says there should be a contingency plan to replace the ailing Clinton if her health continues to decline-But it's not just any former Democratic Party Chair-His name is Don Fowler and he was the Clinton's hand-picked party chair during Bill Clinton's presidency.

Fowler says there needs to be a plan in place and many Democratic Party leaders agree, although none will admit that Clinton's health is a real concern. Clinton herself has been seen stumbling into vans and up steps lately, and she admitted in an interview with Anderson Cooper to passing out "only twice that I can recall. You know it is something that has occurred a few times over the course of my life. And I'm aware of it and usually can avoid it." But her campaign has shrouded the health concerns in secrecy. The New York Post reports that Clinton was taken to her daughter's house instead of to the emergency room to avoid details of her health becoming public after she became immobile at a 9-11 ceremony Sunday.

Another recent action by Clinton also meets the definition of unfit as she is not proper, suitable or acceptable to hold the office of President. She characterized those who would vote for Donald Trump as "deplorables." At a high-ticket fundraiser September 9, Clinton said, "To just be grossly generalist, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call 'the basket of deplorables. Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it." Clinton's campaign of characterizing those who disagree with her as racists and bigots is offensive in the least. She is demonstrating that she is unfit to hold the office she seeks because she has such a hate-filled opinion of conservative Americans who would not vote for her.

Her secrecy surrounding her true health is indicative of how the Clinton's handle all issues that arise. They hide the issue and attack those who question it. Also, she is characterizing those who disagree with her as "alt conservatives," right wing extremists who are conducting a conspiratorial campaign against her. Does this sound like someone who is mentally stable enough to hold public office? She is accusing a huge percentage of American voters of being hate mongers who are conspiring against her. Luke 6:45 says, "...an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." By "generally" accusing others of bigotry and hate, she exposes her heart specifically.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Prayer Alert Update

Mekudeshet Interfaith Festival

Published by: Siman Tov Allalouf, Jerusalem, ISRAEL

September 12/16

A few weeks ago I sent out a prayer alert concerning the Mekudeshet Ecumenical Festival being held in Jerusalem on September 4th to the 23rd. Following is a bit of an update to this ongoing festival and a request that the saints continue to pray.

September 12/16 Rick Riding (founder of Succot Hellel 24/7 house of worship in Jerusalem) is talking in this short video about the Lord's plan for Ben Hennon Valley the same place where Mekudeshet Festival currently has established an altar of prayer to a false god.

Tonight Rick talked about the scriptures from 1Kings 18:36- 39 and felt the Lord has shown him that this prayer altar which Mekudeshet has established in the Ben Hennon Valley from September 4th to 11th was to establish a prayer altar to a false god, with the enemies intent to deceive Israelis into following after a false god. But it is time we pray as Elijah did and challenge every false god and call on the One True God of Israel. The King Yeshua come take up His throne, a throne never to be shared with anything or anyone else!
"And it happened at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near and said, Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel, and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your Word. Hear me, O Jehovah, hear me, that this people may know that You are Jehovah God, and that You have turned their heart back again. And the fire of Jehovah fell and burned up the burnt sacrifice and the wood, and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw, they fell on their faces. And they said, Jehovah, He is the God! Jehovah, He is the God!" (1Ki 18:36 - 39)
Pray until the fire comes down and every false god be revealed as a lie that it is.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers. . .

The Philos Project

'Homeland' for Christians in Middle East pushed to protect them
from ISIS genocide campaign

What can Christians do to help protect their fellow persecuted Christians in the Middle East? The question has been around since the Islamic State (ISIS) started a campaign of genocide against Christians in Syria and Iraq two years ago.

Now, finally, a credible answer has been voiced: the creation of a protected Christian homeland in the region.

A Christian group called the Philos Project has partnered with In Defense of Christians to discuss how American believers can put policy and prayer together to stop the violence against Christians in the Middle East, CBN News reports. Advocates for the persecuted Church recently gathered in Washington, D.C. to raise awareness about the ISIS' genocide campaign against believers in the region.

During the gathering, Christians in America were urged to actively help their beleaguered fellow Christians. "We all feel the temptation to stay out of it and mind our own business . . . But minding our business is simply not an option," said Robert Nicholson, president of the Philos Project and key speaker at the event.

Many of the advocates are convinced that the only way to protect Christians in the Middle East is to create a homeland for them. "Everyone wants to help Christians with aid, but until now there has been no structure through which to deliver it - no address to mail the check," Nicholson said.

"Christians in the Middle East will only be safe when they have a protected homeland, a foundation on which to build their shattered society," he added.

The Philos Project and other organisations are now working to create an independent Christian state in the Ninevah Plains region of Iraq.

Critics say the homeland idea is impractical, but the Philos Project cites modern examples of this solution to prove that it can work.

"History has shown us various examples of this concept working in practice, of minority peoples under existential threat surviving and thriving by securing territory: Israel, Armenia, Iraqi Kurdistan, even (to a far less satisfactory degree) Native American reservations in the U.S.," Nicholson said. - Father, we know that we are to help our brothers and sisters in Christ and we are willing but there are so many questions that we have about this article. We know that You do not want us to be deceived as Your word says. Everything that sounds good is not always good. "Settlement Jihad" in America

DHS whistleblower: Muslims waging 'settlement jihad' on U.S.

Muslims from around the world are coming to America to wage "settlement jihad" and implement Shariah law, a Department of Homeland security whistleblower warns. Haney warned that most Muslims do not migrate to America with the intention of assimilating into American culture. "The observant Muslim base is the reason for civilizational and/or settlement jihad," he said. "That is why they are immigrating to America, to come and coalesce into one solid unit with the intention - and it is intentional - to implement Shariah law, which according to Islamic theology is the grace and gift to mankind."

As a Customs and Border Protection officer, Haney gathered a plethora of valuable intelligence on the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic organizations. However, in 2009 his superiors ordered him to eliminate critical "linking information" from about 820 records he had entered into CBP's internal database. Haney said the Obama administration refused to investigate Muslim Brotherhood members as terrorists because it relied on the Brotherhood and other Muslim groups with ties to terrorism to help shape U.S. counter-terrorism policy.

Haney warned the ACT for America audience of existential threats facing America from enemies both foreign and domestic - specifically, the global Islamic movement and progressive leftists. He said the intention of these enemies is "to alter or to abolish" the U.S. government, words which are ironically found in the Declaration of Independence.

Haney noted Shariah precludes any form of human law, including the U.S. Constitution. Therefore, he urges opponents of Islamization to point to the Constitution as the reason for their opposition. "If you build your rebuttal and your strategy on our founding documents by recognizing what they intend to do, which is to alter or abolish our current form of government, it puts you on a solid foundation, immunizing you from a lot of charges of Islamophobic, racist bigotry, because after all, you're defending the documents our country was founded on," Haney reasoned. Dangers Rise as America Retreats

Dangers Rise as America Retreats
Fifteen years after 9/11, the next president will face greater risks and a weaker military to combat them.

Fifteen years ago this Sunday, nearly 3,000 Americans were killed in the deadliest attack on the U.S. homeland in our history. A decade and a half later, we remain at war with Islamic terrorists. Winning this war will require an effort of greater scale and commitment than anything we have seen since World War II, calling on every element of our national power.

Defeating our enemies has been made significantly more difficult by the policies of Barack Obama. No American president has done more to weaken the U.S., hobble our defenses or aid our adversaries.

President Obama has been more dedicated to reducing America's power than to defeating our enemies. He has enhanced the abilities, reach and finances of our adversaries, including the world's leading state sponsor of terror, at the expense of our allies and our own national security. He has overseen a decline of our own military capabilities as our adversaries' strength has grown.

Our Air Force today is the oldest and smallest it has ever been. In January 2015, then-Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno testified that the Army was as unready as it had been at any other time in its history. Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert testified similarly that, "Navy readiness is at its lowest point in many years."

Nearly half of the Marine Corps' non-deployed units-the ones that respond to unforeseen contingencies-are suffering shortfalls, according to the commandant of the Corps, Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr. For the first time in decades, American supremacy in key areas can no longer be assured.

The president who came into office promising to end wars has made war more likely by diminishing America's strength and deterrence ability. He doesn't seem to understand that the credible threat of military force gives substance and meaning to our diplomacy. By reducing the size and strength of our forces, he has ensured that future wars will be longer, and put more American lives at risk. (Published by the Wall Street Journal) Read more here.

- Father God, this is another sobering report, and ultimately only You can protect us from our enemies. We pray our leaders would heed this advice from Dick and Liz Cheney, as they spent much of their lives successfully protecting the people of this great nation. In Your Name, amen.

- "I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies." (2 Samuel 22:4)

Boko Haram leader vows to attack Christians

LAGOS, Nigeria- Nigeria's Boko Haram Islamic extremists have a new leader who is threatening to bomb churches and kill Christians while ending attacks on mosques and markets used by ordinary Muslims, according to an interview published Wednesday by the Islamic State group.

He also says there is a Western plot to Christianize the region and has accused charities of using their aid for that, according to a SITE Intelligence Group translation of an interview published Wednesday in the Islamic State newspaper al-Nabaa.

The newspaper identified Abu Musab al-Barnawi as the new "Wali," or governor, of its so-called West Africa Province. The "Wali" title was previously used to describe long-time Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau. (Crux Now) Read more here.

Classic Hymns:

STAND UP, STAND UP FOR JESUS

"Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:11-12)

Lyrics

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross; Lift high His royal banner, it must not suffer loss. From victory unto victory His army shall He lead, Till every foe is vanquished, and Christ is Lord indeed.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, the solemn watchword hear; If while ye sleep He suffers, away with shame and fear; Where'er ye meet with evil, within you or without, Charge for the God of battles, and put the foe to rout.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, the trumpet call obey; Forth to the mighty conflict, in this His glorious day. Ye that are brave now serve Him against unnumbered foes; Let courage rise with danger, and strength to strength oppose.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, stand in His strength alone; The arm of flesh will fail you, ye dare not trust your own. Put on the Gospel armor, each piece put on with prayer; Where duty calls or danger, be never wanting there.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, each soldier to his post, Close up the broken column, and shout through all the host: Make good the loss so heavy, in those that still remain, And prove to all around you that death itself is gain.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, the strife will not be long; This day the noise of battle, the next the victor's song. To those who vanquish evil a crown of life shall be; They with the King of Glory shall reign eternally.

About the hymn:

'Stand Up for Jesus' was the dying message of the Reverend Dudley A. Tyng to the Young Men's Christian Association -- The Sabbath before his death he preached in the immense edifice known as Jaynes' Hall, one of the most successful sermons of modern times. Of the five thousand men there assembled, at least one thousand, it was believed were 'the slain of the Lord.'

The following Wednesday, leaving his study for a moment, he went to the barn floor, where a mule was at work on a horse-power, shelling corn. Patting him on the neck, the sleeve of his silk study gown caught in the cogs of the wheel, and his arm was torn out the roots! His death occurred in a few hours.

The author of the hymn preached from Eph. 6:14, and the verses were written simply as the concluding exhortation. The superintendent of the Sabbath school had a fly-leaf printed for the children-a stray copy found its way into a Baptist newspaper, from that paper it has gone all over the world.

AURORAS AND A FIREBALL

On Sept. 11th, Alex Conu went outdoors to photograph auroras over the Lofoten Islands of Norway. He got more than he bargained for. "BAM!" he says. "This -8 magnitude fireball streaked across the sky."

For comparison, the fireball was about as bright as the crescent Moon. "There was a bit of fragmenting towards the end," says Conu. "Very beautiful."

The fireball won't be back tonight, Sept. 12th, but the auroras might. Earth is passing through a stream of solar wind filled with negative polarity (-Bz) magnetic fields. Such a solar wind stream can penetrate our planet's magnetic defenses, sparking geomagnetic storms and auroras. (Read more)

Prominences are masses of hot plasma held above the surface of the sun by filaments of magnetism. Such structures are usually unstable and often collapse. The Good News Corner

How Our Friend Israel Remembered 9/11

American officials and police officers joined Israeli counterparts outside Jerusalem on Sunday to mark the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

The ceremony took place at a large 9/11 memorial, the only one outside the United States to list the names of all 2,996 victims.

Ron Lauder, chairman of the US branch of the Jewish National Fund, which paid for the memorial, noted that the memorial even lists numerous victims from nations that continue to view Israel as their enemy.

"Everyone is remembered, no matter their country of origin, no matter their religion, no matter what the color of their skin is," said Lauder. "That's because Israel recognizes all people as human beings, no matter what their governments say and do."

Echoing that sentiment, US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro told the gathering that "perhaps none can identify more with our pain than Israelis."

The event was addressed by several other officials, including Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and former Israeli Ambassador to the US Michael Oren. Nearby in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened his weekly cabinet meeting by stating, in English:

"We remember the victims. We embrace their loved ones. We stand with our greatest ally, the United States of America, and with other partners in the battle against militant Islamic terrorism that spreads its fear, its dread, its murder around the world."
