1. Israel says Mideast arms proliferation imperils its military edge -YNET News
Israel's neighbors are buying arms on a scale that threatens its regional military superiority, the deputy Israeli air force chief said on Sunday, in remarks that appeared aimed at helping secure more defense aid from a reluctant Washington.
US military payouts to Israel, currently around $3 billion annually, expire in 2018, and Israeli officials have spoken of needing around $4.5 billion. US officials have balked at such an increase.
At the heart of the dispute is how to perpetuate Israel's qualitative military edge - a guarantee that it gets more advanced US weapons than Arab states get. Israel says it needs to bulk up its armed forces, not just upgrade their technologies, to keep ahead of potential foes.

2. Hezbollah said building missile base in Syria, to strike at Israel -Times of Israel
The Lebanese terror group Hezbollah has reportedly been constructing a fortified base inside Syria that it may be using to store Iranian ballistic missiles with the range to hit Israel.
Satellite images of an area on the northern Lebanese-Syrian border show that Hezbollah has been consolidating positions it conquered from Syrian rebels in June 2013, global intelligence company Stratfor said Wednesday.

3. Israeli businesses, government brace for annual Anonymous cyber-attacks - Jerusalem Post
Israel's government and businesses are prepared for the annual onslaught of cyber attacks by online hacktivist group Anonymous, which has been targeting the Jewish state since 2011.
But while the group has succeeded in defacing some high-profile websites in the past, experts say there is little reason to think the attacks will be successful in more meaningful ways.

4. PM calls on IDF to act against terror 'everywhere and without restrictions' - Jerusalem Post
Amid reports that Israel and the Palestinian Authority are negotiating a deal to restrict IDF action in Palestinian- controlled areas, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the IDF to continue its anti-terrorist offensive "everywhere and without restriction."
Netanyahu's comments came during a tour the security cabinet made of the IDF's Judea and Samaria Division, hearing a briefing from top IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) officials at lookouts at Kochav Ya'acov and Psagot near Ramallah.
The ministers, according to a statement put out by the Prime Minister's Office, were told that there has been a significant decrease of late in the number of terrorist attacks and the number of wounded. They were briefed by OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Roni Numa and a Shin Bet representative.

5. Ex-president Katsav placed on suicide watch -Times of Israel
The Prisons Service has reportedly placed former president Moshe Katsav on suicide watch.
The decision follows Wednesday's ruling by a parole board rejecting Katsav's appeal for early release for good behavior, Channel 10 reported.
Katsav, 70, was convicted on December 30, 2010, of two counts of rape, among other related charges. He began serving his sentence in December 2011, and is slated for release in December 2018.

1. Congress Investigating Obama Administration for 'Internal Deception' on Concessions to Iran - Washington Free Beacon
US lawmakers are questioning the Obama administration's commitments to Congress over the Iran nuclear deal and its numerous guarantees that the Islamic Republic would not be granted extra concessions for signing it, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
Over the course of the last year, administration officials confirmed in Congressional testimony that the Iranian regime would not gain access to the US financial system and missile technology under the terms of the nuclear agreement. In one such instance, Acting Under Secretary of the Treasury Adam Szubin assured lawmakers in September that Iran would not be given the opportunity "to execute a dollarized transaction where a split second's worth of business is done in a New York clearing bank."
In March, however, the Associated Press reported that the Obama administration was contemplating "easing financial restrictions that prohibit US dollars from being used in transactions with Iran," which is currently outlawed. This change in policy would result in a significant boost to Iran's hard-hit economy. (Read more)
- Father, we thank You that Congress is investigating this administration's relationship with Iran, in an effort to bring all the facts to light, and any hidden deals exposed to Your scrutiny and ours. We ask that all information come out into the open, and that the truth will prevail. We know that Iran has chosen to be an enemy of the "free world", and detests our support of Israel, and freedom. Shine Your light on any "under the table" deals, and bring them onto the table to be dealt with for the good of all nations interacting in any way with Iran. We ask this in Your precious Name, Amen.
- "There is nothing covered up that won't be exposed and nothing secret that won't be made known. Therefore, what you have said in darkness will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in private rooms will be shouted from the housetops." (Luke 12:2-4)
2. Obama Claims Power to Make Illegal Immigrants Eligible for Social Security, Disability- CNS News
Does the president of the United States have the power to unilaterally tell millions of individuals who are violating federal law that he will not enforce that law against them now, that they may continue to violate that law in the future and that he will take action that makes them eligible for federal benefit programs for which they are not currently eligible due to their unlawful status?
Through Solicitor General Donald Verrilli, President Barack Obama is telling the Supreme Court exactly this right now.

- Lord, with 10,000 more refugees, adding them to Social Security and Disability may be devastating to the U.S Economy, not to mention those citizens who are already on these programs. We ask for wisdom for our leaders, that You not allow anything against Your Will.
-"Forsake foolishness and live, and go in the way of understanding." (Proverbs 9:6)
3. Tennessee bill would allow counselors to deny service based on religion- Reuters
The Tennessee House passed a bill on Wednesday allowing mental health counselors to refuse service to patients on religious grounds, the latest in a list of U.S. state measures that gay rights activists have criticized as discriminating against the LGBT community.
A vote by the state House of Representatives protects therapists and counselors from civil lawsuits and criminal action if they deny services to clients whose religious beliefs conflict with their own.
The bill passed by a 68-22 vote and sent to Gov. Bill Haslam for his signature. The state Senate passed the bill earlier this year.

- Lord, as states fight to bring wisdom back to America after the LGBT agendas have run rampant, we ask that You make certain that these laws are well-written and solid to protect everyone's rights.

4. 250 Syrian civilians feared kidnapped by ISIS near Damascus - Israel National News
Around 250 Syrian civilians are feared kidnapped after an attack by the Islamic State jihadist group (ISIS) on a cement factory east of Damascus, residents told AFP on Thursday.
"We haven't been able to reach our family members since noon on Monday after an attack by Daesh on the factory," said a resident of the town of Dmeir, 50 kilometres (30 miles) east of Damascus, using the Arabic acronym for ISIS.
"We have no information about where they are," the resident added.
An administrator at the plant said 250 employees had been unreachable since Monday.

5. North Korea prepping large-caliber rocket launch system, South Korea says - Fox News
North Korea has developed a large-caliber multiple launch rocket system that has the capability to strike Seoul as early as this year, South Korea's defense minister said Wednesday.
The announcement, reported in The Washington Post, comes a day after a South Korean official said the North has the ability to mount a nuclear warhead on a medium-range missile that could strike targets in Russia, China, Japan and the Korean Peninsula.
Han Min-koo said Wednesday that North Korea's recent rest-firings of 300-millimeter rockets suggest that its multiple launch rocket system is almost fully developed.

6. Mosul siege stalled as Iraqi army once again flees when bullets fly, say sources - Fox News
The much-awaited liberation of Mosul from ISIS stalled late last month almost as soon as bullets flew, when Iraqi government troops once again fled from the black-clad terrorist army, members of the broad coalition poised to retake the key city told FoxNews.com this week.
The Iraqi army, which was heavily criticized for abandoning posts - and weapons - as ISIS moved in on Mosul in June of 2014, had begun taking small villages on the outskirts after Baghdad announced the campaign March 24. But the liberation effort, which was to include Shia and Sunni militias, Kurds, Christians and Yazidis with U.S.-led coalition support, was quickly paused when the opposition struck back.
- Father, we see this army running in fear because they do not have You as their Lord and Savior. We ask that You move mightily over Iraq, ferreting out every person, that does not know You, changing their hearts and minds.
- "For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost." (Matthew 18:11)

I will fill thee with locusts
As the first Syrians are now on their way under the "president's" resettlement policy of bringing over 100,000 Islamic "refugees" from terrorist-sponsoring Syria, the same "president" is arguing with Congress and the Supreme Court whether he has the ability to forego the law and make some four million illegal aliens eligible for social security. According to CNSNews.com, on April 18, the Supreme Court will hear arguments on the case United States v. Texas, pitting the "president" against a majority of the states, which have joined in the litigation against the administration. It is essentially a test case as to whether a president can choose not to enforce the law, but there is far more than that at stake.
CNSNews.com reports that at issue is the White House policy called Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA), which would allow aliens in this country illegally who are parents of citizens or lawful permanent residents to stay in the US. The brief submitted by the Texas Attorney General to the Supreme Court on behalf of the states explains: "The Executive Branch unilaterally created a program--known as DAPA--that contravenes Congress's complex statutory framework for determining when an alien may lawfully enter, remain in, and work in the country." Bottom line, DAPA classifies illegals as "lawfully present," making over four million illegals eligible for Medicare and Social Security.
Part of this "president's" legacy is choosing the laws he wants to support and those he doesn't. We have seen this on numerous occasions since the beginning of his administration--off shore drilling, Defense of Marriage Act, Fast and Furious, border security, and immigration laws. The combined impact of this lawlessness is the invasion of the United States with lawbreakers, prospective terrorists, anti-democracy anarchists, and criminals. Aside from the attack on society--which costs billions a year in criminal acts, court defenses, and personal injury--Americans are being asked to aid and abet this invasion by shouldering the burden in "entitlements" such as health care, welfare, and even Social Security.
Add to this a report by The Tax Foundation that Americans on the average will spend more on federal, state, and local taxes in 2016 than on food, clothing, and housing combined. Those of us who work, do so an average of 114 days to pay for government programs. The cost of government policies, however, reach far beyond the tax bill. One cannot look at these policies without assigning a strategic weight to them. It appears that the Islamic Marxist in the White House is strategically accomplishing what the Lord prophesied through Jeremiah for judgment on Babylon, "Surely I will fill thee with men, as with locusts; and they shall raise a battle cry against thee." America faces an invasion of dependents whose first act of coming to the country is breaking the law. Another wave are from terrorist-sponsoring states where there is no way to vet their intent.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Sunday Worship in India Stormed by Hindu Radicals in Chhattisgarh State
New Delhi (Agenzia Fides) - A group of about 40 Hindu extremists in a Pentecostal Christian Assembly stormed during a prayer meeting, interrupting the worship, threatening the faithful and seizing Bibles: as reported to Fides by the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), the incident took place last Sunday, April 3, in Kawardha district in the Indian state of Chattisgarh.
Sajan K George, president of the GCIC told Fides: "Chattisgarh has earned a record of infamy for radicals who illegally suppress religious freedom. Last month alone 25 extremists beat men, women and children and a church was vandalized, in Raipur district".

THE CHURCH'S ONE FOUNDATION
"No one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid;
that foundation is Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 3:11)
Lyrics
The Church's one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord, She is His new creation By water and the Word. From heaven He came and sought her To be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her And for her life He died.
She is from every nation, Yet one o'er all the earth; Her charter of salvation, One Lord, one faith, one birth; One holy Name she blesses, Partakes one holy food, And to one hope she presses, With every grace endued.
The Church shall never perish! Her dear Lord to defend, To guide, sustain, and cherish, Is with her to the end: Though there be those who hate her, And false sons in her pale, Against both foe or traitor She ever shall prevail.
Though with a scornful wonder Men see her sore oppressed, By schisms rent asunder, By heresies distressed: Yet saints their watch are keeping, Their cry goes up, "How long?" And soon the night of weeping Shall be the morn of song!
'Mid toil and tribulation, And tumult of her war, She waits the consummation Of peace forevermore; Till, with the vision glorious, Her longing eyes are blest, And the great Church victorious Shall be the Church at rest.
Yet she on earth hath union With God the Three in One, And mystic sweet communion With those whose rest is won, With all her sons and daughters Who, by the Master's hand Led through the deathly waters, Repose in Eden land.
O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we Like them, the meek and lowly, On high may dwell with Thee: There, past the border mountains, Where in sweet vales the Bride With Thee by living fountains Forever shall abide!

Big Red Rainbow!
(Arlington, VA)
Sometimes clouds and rain vex astronomers. On April 4th, they had the opposite effect. "I am the director of the David M. Brown Planetarium," says Jonathan Harmon of Arlington, Virginia. "As I was preparing to open the doors for a Monday evening star show inside, I had to delay due to the amazing show outside." The show was a big red rainbow:
"I had to stitch 4 images together to catch the full arch over the planetarium dome," says Harmon.
Harmon's rainbow towered so high in the sky because the sun was hanging so low. Rainbows are always centered on the point directly opposite the sun. As the sun sets, the rainbow rises. Sunset is also the reason for the rainbow's red hue. Sunlight illuminating raindrops behind the observatory were reddened by scattering from low-hanging air molecules and dust particles. Red sunlight makes red rainbows; it's as simple as that. (SpaceWeather.com)

Beautiful, Sacred Tool Used in Jewish Temple Found in Galilee
(Israel)-A special bronze incense shovel-a tool that plays an important role in ancient Jewish rituals-has been uncovered by archaeologists at Magdala, a 2,000-year-old Jewish settlement on the Sea of Galilee.
"The incense shovel and jug found in our excavation were exposed lying next to each other on the floor in one of the rooms, at the storehouses that is locate adjacent the dock of a large Jewish settlement, on the shore of Sea of Galilee, in the late Second Temple period," said Dina Avshalom-Gorni, an archaeologist for the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).
"These implements might have been saved in the storeroom as heirlooms by a Jewish family living at Magdala, or they may have been used for daily work as well," she added.
Incense shovels, called "mahta" in Hebrew, are specifically mentioned in the Bible and play an important role in Jewish ritual.
"The mahta is thought to have been a sacred implement like the rest of the items that were utilized in the Temple where it was mainly used for transferring embers from place to place," the IAA said.
The IAA has been conducting an archaeological dig at the Galilee site for several years. During this time, archaeologists have uncovered several significant features such as Jewish ritual baths, a marketplace and industrial facilities, and a synagogue dating to the 1st century AD (around the time of Jesus' public ministry in the Galilee).
