"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10)

1. Israeli Arabs warn gov't: Razing Beduin settlement is 'declaration of war' - Jerusalem Post

Thousands of Arabs protested across the country on Wednesday to mark the 40th annual Land Day with a major event held in the Negev where community leaders threatened resistance to government plans to destroy an unrecognized Beduin village.

The two main events were held in the unrecognized illegal Beduin settlement of Umm al-Hiran in the Negev and in the northern town of Arrabe. Smaller demonstrations took place in the northern localities of Sakhnin, Deir Hanna, and Kafr Kana.

The first test could come if the government moves to implement the Supreme Court approval of the demolition of Umm al-Hiran and the eviction of its residents in order to build a Jewish town called Hiran.

"Destroying Umm al-Hiran would be a declaration of war against Arabs of the Negev," Joint List MK Ahmad Tibi told The Jerusalem Post at the event in the Beduin village.

2. Quartet envoys in Jerusalem to work toward restarting peace talks - Jerusalem Post

Envoys from the Middle East Quartet, made up of the US, Russia, EU and UN, met in Jerusalem earlier this week to work on a report it is expected to release in a number of months on the steps needed to create a political environment conducive to a relaunch of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

During the visit the representatives met with officials from the Prime Minister's office and the Foreign Ministry, as well as representatives from the Palestinian Authority and the PLO.

3. Defense minister tells IDF commanders to stand firm amid Hebron shooting firestorm - Jerusalem Post

In the wake of the firestorm raging over the Hebron shooting of a downed attacker by an IDF soldier, and the soldier's subsequent arrest, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon fired back on Tuesday against attacks from right-wing ministers and politicians who accused him and senior IDF commanders of abandoning soldiers.

During visit to IDF Central Command, Ya'alon told commanders that it is their duty to "prevent dark winds fro the outside to influence us," adding, "There is a struggle here over the character and image of the state of Israel, and Israeli society, in a way that influences the IDF.

It is important that the IDF remains as a stable anchor, and that it continues to safeguard norms and values." Ya'alon, who toured the Central Command's headquarters in north Jerusalem, said Thursday's Shooting incident generated an "ugly wave, and it is important to keep the IDF away from this ugly wave, which is being caused by an extreme minority or political elements."

4. Israel and China commit to completing free-trade agreement -YNET News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed gratitude and appreciation to visiting Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong for her determination and commitment to complete a free- trade agreement with Israel during a meeting at the Israeli Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

"I was very glad to hear today from Vice Premier Liu that China is ready to start negotiating for free-trade with Israel," Netanyahu remarked. "This is a significant development and we are ready to do it immediately."

According to Netanyahu, a free-trade agreement would significantly improve bilateral cooperation in many different sectors.

5. UN's Ban apologizes for saying 'occupation' - Israel National News

UN secretary-general Ban Ki-Moon has apologized for using the label "occupation" - no, not in the context of Israel's presence in its Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria which he regularly condemns, but rather in Western Sahara.

Ban's change of heart came after the government of Morocco turned hostile on his "occupation" comments, made earlier this month in a visit to Algerian refugee camps for the Sahrawi people who claim ownership of the Western Sahara.

In response, there were mass protests in Morocco and the state expelled dozens of UN peacekeepers stationed in Western Sahara within three days, a move that the local Sahrawi groups warned could bring about war in the region.

Morocco has occupied the mineral rich region since it was handed to its troops by Spain in 1975, when Madrid ended its colony there. The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) holds a government-in-exile in Algeria, arguing for its rights to rule over the region, and the Algerian-backed Polisario Front has been fighting for independence in the disputed territory.

But apparently Morocco's hostilities were enough to have Ban reverse his terming of the region as "occupied," as on Monday UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric backtracked for him, reports Reuters on Tuesday.

1. FBI agrees to unlock iPhone, iPod in Arkansas homicide case - Fox News

The FBI agreed Wednesday to help an Arkansas prosecutor unlock an iPhone and iPod belonging to two teenagers accused of killing a couple, just days after the federal agency announced it had gained access to an iPhone linked to the gunman in a mass shooting in California.

Faulkner County Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland said the FBI agreed to the request from his office and the Conway Police Department Wednesday afternoon. A judge on Tuesday agreed to postpone the trial of 18-year-old Hunter Drexler so prosecutors could ask the FBI for help. Drexler's trial was moved from next week to June 27.(Read more)

- Father it was this very thing that concerned many, including Apple: that they would not use their ability in that one case alone, but any case they choose. Privacy is now extremely crippled. We pray that You will have mercy over the people of America, and protect us all from overreach by the government.

- "For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught." (Proverbs 3:26)

2. Pakistan Pledges Not to Amend Law That Imposes Death Penalty for Blasphemy - CNS News

Muslim radicals ended a four-day sit-in in a high-security "red zone" near Pakistan's federal parliament, claiming victory after the government late Wednesday gave assurances it will not seek to amend the country's notorious blasphemy laws or show leniency to anyone convicted under them.

The government's pledge to the protestors came just days after a deadly Easter Sunday bombing in Pakistan's second-biggest city underlined anew the threats faced by minority Christians both from terrorists and from Islamist extremists like those at the sit-in in the capital. (Read more)

- Father, this is a terribly sad situation for Christians in the nation of Pakistan. It means that they will face more and more persecution. As Constantine saw the golden cross in the sky, we ask that You do whatever it takes for the Muslims of Pakistan to come to You. We ask in the meantime we pray that You will give Christians wisdom, and protection from the continual assaults.

- "For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling." (Psalm 116:8)

3. Report: US and Russia agree to Assad's departure to another country - World Watch Daily

US Secretary of State John Kerry informed several Arab countries that the US and Russia have reached an understanding that Syrian President Bashar Assad will leave to another country as part of the future peace process aiming to put an end to the bloody civil war, reported the London-based Al-Hayat Thursday.

According to the report, based on a Security Council diplomat, a timetable was not set for Assad's departure. The understanding between the United States and Russia came about in behind-the-scenes diplomatic channels involving military operations against Islamic State and it includes the departure of Assad to another country at some point. However it was stressed that "the timing of the move and its context in the political process is still not clear to everyone so far."

It should be noted that recently there have been several contradictory reports on alleged agreements between the US and Russia regarding the fate of Assad.

Al-Hayat represents the Saudi hawkish line of coverage of the Syrian crisis and therefore it is quite possible that this is a leak emanating from one of the Gulf countries aimed at exerting pressure. (Read more)

- Father while the world seems to think this is the solution to all of the problems in Syria, we know that it is not. The only true solution for Syria is a move of Your Holy Spirit to change hearts and turn minds from worshiping false gods.

- " . . .Then this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's . . ." (1 Samuel 17:47)

4. Iranian leader says missiles more important than talks - Times of Israel

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that his country needs its controversial missile program in order to negotiate from a position of strength and that those who oppose rocket development are treasonous.

The comments came as Western powers called on the UN to take action against Iran over recent tests of ballistic missiles, noting they threatened Israel. (Read more)

- Father, we have known all along that this is an issue with Iran that our government has ignored. Let Your power be shown over the land of Israel and the United States, so that our enemies will see that You are God.

- "I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them." (Amos 9:15)

5. North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper won't defend transgender law in court - Fox8

Attorney General Roy Cooper, who is challenging Gov. Pat McCrory for governor, spoke out against House Bill 2 Tuesday morning during a press conference. Cooper said his office, "will not defend the constitutionality of the discrimination in House Bill 2." McCrory signed the bill, called the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, last Wednesday after it was passed by the North Carolina Senate.

The law was in response to Charlotte's nondiscrimination ordinance that allowed transgender individuals to use public bathrooms of the sex with which they identify. (Read more)

- Lord, North Carolina officials were simply trying to protect women and children from sexual assault in the bathrooms. The firestorm that has ensued is trying to force governments to allow this dangerous practice. We repent for our nation, in the Name of Jesus, and we plead Your mercy over us. Change the minds and heart of these people, Father.

- "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not." (Lamentations 3:22)

6. Bible charity vows to continue translation work after murders of four employees - Fox News

The murders of four translators working to bring the Bible to obscure languages in the Middle East earlier this month won't stop the charity behind the effort from its work, officials said.

The four unidentified translators, who worked secretly for Wycliffe Bible Translation, a Florida non-profit dedicated to bringing the gospel to hundreds of obscure languages, were killed by suspected Islamist militants at an undisclosed location, Wycliffe officials said in a statement.

"They shot and destroyed all the equipment in the office," read the statement. "The invaders burned all the books and other translation materials in the office." (Read more)

- Father, we ask Your comfort over Wycliffe and the families of those who were lost in this vicious attack. Was ask for Your Mighty Protection over all those who serve You in "secret places." We know that You will protect Your Word, and that the translation will continue regardless of the dangers.

- "So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

The prophetic Islamic invasion of the US

Islam has been at war with America for some 233 years, beginning with the birth of our nation and the onslaught of the Barbary Pirates of the Ottoman Empire. This has continued through the 9-11 terrorist attacks and several other smaller attacks on American soil and against Americans abroad ever since. But now, America is beginning to experience a type and shadow of the Babylon prophecy of Jeremiah 51:14, where the Lord says, "Surely I will fill thee with men, as with locusts; and they shall lift up a battle cry against thee." This invasion, aided and abetted by Congress and the office of the Presidency, is part of the Muslim Brotherhood strategy to takeover the US. The "president" is complicit in this strategy.

In his Easter weekend radio address, the "president," still referring to the Islamic State as "ISIL" (which includes Israel), said that the US will continue to allow Islamic immigrants into the US from terrorist nations such as Syria as a part of his strategy to defeat "ISIL." The White House web site summarizes the "president's" remarks: "that defeating ISIL remains our top military, intelligence, and national security priority. He reminded us that as we move forward in this fight, we must use the power of our example as a Nation that is open to refugees escaping ISIL's violence, refuses ISIL's hateful and violent propaganda, and rejects any attempt to stigmatize Muslim-Americans."

The "president's" strategy appears to be that America will defeat the Islamic State by bringing as many Muslims to the United States as possible. In his radio address he said: "Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL's violence; our determination to win the battle against ISIL's hateful and violent propaganda--a distorted view of Islam that aims to radicalize young Muslims to their cause" was paramount to victory. He ignores Islam's history of war, terror, slave trade, human sex trafficking, violence against women and children, and drug trade continue today in every country where there is a Muslim majority. And the "president" appears to believe the way to defeat this history is to bring Islam to America.

Truth be told, Islam is at war with anyone who is not Islamic. It is using a dark and evil concept of "religion" to advance its fascism. Anyone who disagrees with its religion is labeled an Islamophobe, a bigot, even a racist rather than a wise discerner of the truth. As President John Quincy Adams wrote in the 1827 American Annual Register about the Islamic war against Christianity: "That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extincture of that impostor, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man." Adams knew of the Genesis 16 prophecy of the father of Islam, Ishmael: "he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him." Adams understood then, what America seems not to understand today.

Good News from David's Tent!

200 Days, Riding on the Bond of Love:

Turning the Corner of our 200th Day

Today is the 200th day of David's Tent DC running 24/7 on the National mall. The St. Rose Convent in La Crosse, Wisconsin (who have been praying 24/7 for 137 years!) would have every right to smirk a little, but for us in DC, this is a huge victory and to be celebrated greatly! Hundreds of worship teams and thousands of people have come to worship and pray at David's Tent DC since the kickoff Sept. 11 of last year. Thank you to all who have participated, prayed, given financially or have been a part in any way!

As I reflect on the 200 day benchmark, I've been struck by one thing: gratitude for our 40 full-time staff. Many of them don't have a cent to their name, and aren't even able to pay their housing fee to stay here, incurring debt to be faithful as a priest. Yet not one of them is expendable. Like the desert needs the rain, we are in desperate need of more staff. If even 2 or 3 of them would leave, we could not continue.
These staff are the most selfless servant hearts I've ever had the honor to lead. The community of people that make David's Tent possible for our nation are, in my estimation, holding the line of intercession (standing in the gap) as sacrificial as any community of believers I know or have ever known. They are true intercessors that have laid down their lives, pride, comfort, futures, and ambition to be united as a team to intercede 24/7 for America to be awakened in Christ. They live together in discipleship houses of 10 people each, in bunk beds. It's the only way to for us to economically exist in this city. I have so much hope for America because of these 40 dedicated men and women who have created a platform for the thousands of others that have each taken their watch before the Lord.
. . . This is my conclusion: David's Tent DC is riding solely on the bond of love, in Christ, that our community has with one another. But it's bigger than that. This is a small parable for the whole of America.

Revival in all of America - the church of America rising victorious in this hour - is also hanging so precariously on this same bond. We must choose love, for the sake of Christ, and keep going forward bringing His wonderful kingdom . . . or? I wince to think of what happens to our country if the church does not unite in this hour.

"This is my commandment, that you love one another. That your joy would be full."
By His grace we will race into day 201, riding bareback on the bond of love, in and for Christ Jesus our Lord. I pray that Jesus would give us the strength to hang on and not fall off this racehorse called: The Bond of Love.

"'Bond of Love' is in the lead, coming into the final stretch! It's a win for 'Bond of Love'!!!"

You can bet on that horse. If only the bride of Christ can hang on.

He is Worthy of a Unified Bride,

Dear EVERYONE,

THANK YOU!

Your response to our call to "stand down" and to "stop, drop and pray" for our nation and for our elections every Friday has truly been overwhelming.

You have truly touched our hearts! THANK YOU!

For those who live in the D.C. area, you are more than welcome to join us any Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at a prayer house on Capitol Hill as we offer up intercession during this Kingdom Prayer Watch. ISIS Forbids Remaining Christians from Leaving Raqqa

The Islamic State is now preventing the last remaining Christians from leaving Raqqa, Syria, according to activists on the ground.

According to the group Raqqa Is Being Silently Slaughtered, which was founded by a group of journalists turned activists, ISIS has put out a new decree preventing both Christians and Armenians in Raqqa from leaving.

There are approximately 25 Christian families left in Raqqa today, according to RIBSS.

Raqqa, now the de-facto Syrian headquarters of the Islamic State, fell into rebel control in March 2013 in a battle between insurgents led by the Islamist jihadi group Al Nusra and Bashar Al Assad's regime. Raqqa then became the first provincial capital under rebel control in the war.

"The suffering of Christians began with ISIS control of Raqqa," RIBSS said on its website about the treatment of Christians under the jihadi militant group.

"ISIS looks at Christians as infidels loyal to the West more than their loyalty to their homeland which they live."

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

WHEN THEY RING THE GOLDEN BELLS

"The Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces." (Isaiah 25:8)

Lyrics

There's a land beyond the river,
That we call the sweet forever,
And we only reach that shore by faith's decree;
One by one we'll gain the portals,
There to dwell with the immortals,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

Refrain

Don't you hear the bells now ringing?
Don't you hear the angels singing?
'Tis the glory hallelujah Jubilee.
In that far off sweet forever,
Just beyond the shining river,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

We shall know no sin or sorrow,
In that haven of tomorrow,
When our barque shall sail beyond the silver sea;
We shall only know the blessing
Of our Father's sweet caressing,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

Refrain

When our days shall know their number,
And in death we sweetly slumber,
When the King commands the spirit to be free;
Nevermore with anguish laden,
We shall reach that lovely Eden,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

Refrain

Signs and Wonders

Watch as a comet or asteroid smashes into Jupiter

Take that, Jupiter! The largest planet in the solar system just got whacked by an asteroid or a comet, and some intrepid stargazers have captured the planet's latest collision on camera.

Amateur astronomer John McKeon was observing the king of planets by telescope from Swords, Ireland, on March 17 when he captured this stunning time-lapse video of something hitting Jupiter. McKeon was recording the transit of Jupiter's moons Io and Ganymede with an 11-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and his ASI120mm camera when something struck Jupiter, and he struck cosmic pay dirt.

"The original purpose of the imaging session was to get this time-lapse, with a happy coincidence of the impact in the second, last capture of the night," McKeon wrote in a YouTube video description.

While it's still too early to know exact details on the Jupiter crash, NASA asteroid expert Paul Chodas, who heads the agency's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, said there's greater chance that an asteroid, not comet, is the culprit.

"It's more likely to be an asteroid simply because there are more of them," Chodas told Space.com by phone. (CBS News) Read/see more!

"I Knew I Had to Protect You": Survivor of Brussels Bombing Writes Letter to Her Unborn Baby

(Belgium)-If there is one thing a survivor of last week's Brussel's bombing wanted her unborn child to know, it is that "life is a wonderful thing."

The woman, 28-year-old Sneha Mehta, had just flown into Brussels from Abu Dhabi with her husband, Sameep, when bombs tore through the facility.

As of Sunday, the Islamic terrorist attack had claimed the lives of 35 people, including four Americans. But Sneha and her family were not among them.

The mother commemorated her survival-and the way her unborn baby gave her a sense of peace and assurance-in a letter to her baby.

Sneha does not know the sex of her 16-week-old child, but she said she knew the moment that the bombs went off that her paramount concern was the baby's survival.

Having the child gave both parents "faith and reason to live," she wrote, according to CNN.

"I felt more alive than I ever have, and I knew I had to protect you," she wrote, "so I was calm, composed and fully aware that we will survive."
