This photo of the front of the Supreme Court was taken the night before the hearings on gay marriage: Monday, April 27, at sunset. Please remain with us in prayer over the pending decision on traditional marriage until the verdict has been rendered.
" . . . from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. . . What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." (Mark 10: 6,9)
Thank You, Lord, for watching over this Court. In Jesus' name, amen.

1. Senior Likud MKs Threaten Netanyahu for Portfolios - Israel National News
The Knesset is to vote next Monday on a bill to re-expand the maximum number of ministers, which was limited following a demand by Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid in the last government.
The bill follows an instruction given by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, and coalition agreements, but senior members of Netanyahu's own Likud party are apparently using the vote as an opportunity to vent frustrations with him and demand ministerial positions.
Since the bill constitutes an amendment to a basic law, it will require a Knesset majority of 61 votes in favor to pass. Netanyahu's coalition government consists of exactly 61 MKs, meaning he will need every vote.
Netanyahu is exerting pressure on Likud MKs to vote for the bill by postponing his announcement of how the ministerial positions will be distributed until after the vote.

2. Herzog: New Netanyahu coalition is prone to extortion, bound to fail -Jerusalem Post
Zionist Union chief Isaac Herzog took to Twitter late Wednesday to pan the new, narrow right-wing coalition that is set to take power in Jerusalem.
Herzog's remarks came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed President Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday night that he had succeeded in forming a government less than two hour before the midnight deadline to form a coalition.
"This government is devoid of responsibility, stability, and an ability to govern," tweeted Herzog, who has been conspicuously silent in recent weeks, fueling speculation that he had not ruled out joining Netanyahu in a unity government.
"This government is one of national failure," Herzog tweeted. "A government that is susceptible to extortion is a narrow, weak government that won't advance a thing and will be quickly replaced by an alternative that represents hope and responsibility."

3. A glance at the challenges facing Israel's new government - Times of Israel
After weeks of haggling with potential political partners, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cobbled a governing coalition together Wednesday night. His narrow coalition, dominated by nationalists and religious parties, sets Netanyahu's government on a collision course on many fronts.
The following is a glance at the challenges ahead as Netanyahu returns to power for a fourth term:

4. US may sell Saudis bombs once only offered to Israel - Time of Israel
Amid American efforts to allay Sunni Arab concerns over the nuclear deal with Iran, officials are reportedly considering selling Saudi Arabia bunker buster bombs, which are currently only offered to Israel.
American officials said privately this week that the Obama administration is considering selling GBU-28 bunker buster bombs to the Gulf monarchy, the Washington Times reported this week.
Talks for the sale are taking place in secret, since according to a 2008 congressional mandate, the US must ensure Israel's military superiority in the Middle East. But the American administration is also anxious to reassure its Sunni allies in the region that it is not abandoning them.

5. Israel holds naval drill with US, Greece - Jerusalem Post
The Israel Navy took part in a trilateral exercise with the US and Greek navies this week.
The exercise, the largest of its kind, dubbed Noble Dina, involved air-sea maneuvers and the use of a variety of naval vessels. It began on April 27 and will reach its conclusion on May 14, the IDF Spokesman's Office said.
Three Israeli missile ships - the INS Lahav, a Sa'ar-class ship, and the INS Keshet and the INS Romah, both Sa'ar-4.5 class missile ships - took part.
Israeli dolphin submarines and a naval helicopter also took part.
"On April 29 navy forces reached the Greek island of Crete and held combat exercises as well as technical anti-submarine warfare drills," the IDF stated.

6. Jewish activists move into building in Arab Jerusalem neighborhood - Times of Israel
Members of Ateret Kohanim, a right-wing group that settles Jews in Arab areas of East Jerusalem, entered a building in the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan at about 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Local residents threw rocks at the group when they entered the building, and Border Police arrived at the scene.
The building, which Ateret Kohanim said was once the synagogue of Kfar Hashiloah, a village built for poor Yemenite immigrants on the slope of the Mount of Olives in the early 1880s, is owned by the Kfar Hashiloah hekdesh, or community trust. A long legal battle in the Jerusalem District Court between trust officials and members of the Abu Naab family, who had moved into the building, ended with the family being ordered to leave.

7. Hezbollah Under Pressure After Facing Losses in Syria, Opposition in Lebanon - Algemeiner
Hezbollah has suffered severe and serious losses in the battle for an important mountainous region that serves as a natural buffer between war-torn Syria and Lebanon, Lebanese media reported on Wednesday.
At the same time, former Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri launched an unrelenting, critical campaign against the Shia Islamist terror organization.
Recent reports indicated that Hezbollah had been preparing for a bloody ground war against Al-Nusra Front and other militant Sunni organizations for control of the strategically important Qalamoun mountains, just northeast of Lebanon, in Syria. Hezbollah trained and deployed 4,000 soldiers to the region to fight alongside forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Iranian military advisers.

8. Netanyahu: New alliances forming in Mideast that may make peace progress possible - Jerusalem Post
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a conciliatory message to the world Thursday night, saying his new government would examine all the ways of leveraging the shifting alliances in the Middle East to possibly move the peace process forward.
Netanyahu, speaking at a ceremony at the Armored Corps Memorial in Latrun marking 70 years since the Allied victory over the Nazis, said that there are many security, diplomatic, and economic challenges facing the new government that he is to present next week.
"The biggest challenge is Iran's attempts to arm itself with nuclear weapons, and in parallel to open fronts of terrorism and occupation throughout the Middle East around our borders," he said.
Netanyahu asserted that Israel can meet those challenges, and that Israel knows that it is not the only country in the region threatened by Iran.
"This creates joint interests and also perhaps creates opportunities to develop alliances and possibly move peace forward," he said.

9. Syrian army, Hezbollah advance in areas along Lebanon border - Jerusalem Post
Syrian Army bombing in the mountainous area along the border with Lebanon killed dozens of insurgents and helped regain hilly territory overlooking Hezbollah strongholds, the Lebanese terrorist group said on Thursday.
For years, hideouts in the Qalamoun Mountains have allowed al-Qaida-linked insurgents attack Syrian soldiers and fighters from Hezbollah, a staunch ally of President Bashar Assad, along miles of borderland in eastern Lebanon.
The Syrian military, backed by Hezbollah fighters, captured the strategically important territory known as Assal al-Ward on the Syrian side of the border, after retaking the Qarna Heights, a Hezbollah official told Reuters, both in the 100-km. Qalamoun range.
Some insurgents were from al-Qaida's Nusra Front, he said.

1. Military posts put on elevated alert level amid recent ISIS warnings - Fox News
The U.S. military has raised its alert level for bases in North America to its highest since the 10th anniversary of 9/11 in the face of mounting threats from Islamic State sympathizers on American soil. The move, which officials said is not based on a specific threat, was "informed by recent events," a spokesman for U.S. Northern Command told Fox News.
The level, known as "Bravo," is the third of five levels of alert and means increased security at military posts across the country. A day earlier, FBI Director James Comey offered blunt remarks about the domestic threat from ISIS sympathizers, saying hundreds and possibly thousands of people in America are following ISIS on social media and consuming their "poison."
FBI director Comey said the biggest problem is that these people "go dark" like Elton Simpson, one of the two terrorists who attempted the Texas Mohammed Cartoon contest attack. "The haystack is the entire country," Comey said. "We are looking for the needles, but increasingly the needles are unavailable to us. This is the 'going dark' problem in living color. There are Elton Simpsons out there that I have not found and I cannot see." (Read more here, andhere.)
- Father, we are concerned about this "ISIS" of evil endeavoring to infiltrate our country and bring harm to our shores. We ask that they be stopped immediately and unequivocally in their tracks, unable to touch Your people and Land. We ask that You would give Your direction, and timing in dealing with this evil. You are our God, the only true and living God, and we ask You to wrap us in the protection of Your tallit, Your wings, keep us safe, and reveal Yourself to all those who wish us harm. May they come to see the error of their ways, and turn to You as Saviour and Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
- "You who live in the shelter of 'Elyon, who spend your nights in the shadow of Shaddai, who say to Adonai, 'My refuge! My fortress! My God, in whom I trust'---He will rescue you from the trap of the hunter and from the plague of calamities; He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge.' (Psalm 91:1-4)
2. US Justice Dept. to Investigate Baltimore Police - VOA
The U.S. Justice Department will investigate possible civil rights violations by the Baltimore Police Department following the death of a black man while under police custody, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced Friday. The investigation will look for unconstitutional policing practices within the city, such as patterns of excessive force or improper stops and searches.
~Precious Lord, we thank You for watching over us, and for being our Advocate and Judge. You rule in the affairs of men, and we ask that You would particularly turn your attention to Baltimore, Maryland, and this recent incident of a man dying in the course of being in police custody. We ask You to make the truth be known as to the real cause of this man's injuries and death, and also those responsible. We ask for justice to be served. We bind up spirits of murder and retribution, and loose forgiveness and compassion to those who need it. Bring comfort and encouragement to all, and show Your great love to all these folks who need Your intervention in their lives and circumstances, we pray. May they turn to You and find You as they search for You with all their hearts. Amen.
- "Pay attention and always be on your guard [looking out for one another]. If your brother sins (misses the mark), solemnly tell him so and reprove him, and if he repents (feels sorry for having sinned), forgive him. And even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and turns to you seven times and says, I repent [I am sorry], you must forgive him (give up resentment and consider the offense as recalled and annulled). The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith (that trust and confidence that springs from our belief in God)." (Luke 17:3-5)
3. Senate forces Obama to submit Iran Nuclear Deal for Congressional approval - The Washington Times
Senators voted overwhelmingly Thursday to force President Obama to submit to Congress any nuclear deal he reaches with Iran, giving lawmakers a final say before the administration cancels economic sanctions on the Islamic nation.
The 98-1 vote was a rebuke to Mr. Obama, who would prefer to have a free hand to negotiate with Iran, but will now likely have to make sure whatever terms he strikes can gain approval of enough members of Congress to stick.
The House must still vote to approve the bill, but passage there is all but certain later this month, with Republican leaders who control that chamber strongly supportive of the effort to insist Mr. Obama come to Congress before lifting any of the sanctions that have pressured Iran into negotiating in the first place.
~Abba, we thank You for this restraint placed upon our president to submit to Congress any nuclear deal he attempts to reach with Iran, giving Congress the final say. We appreciate these restrictions, as we wish to use wisdom in dealing with our enemies. We ask that You give Your wisdom to our Senators and Congressmen as they seek Your face, and also courage and innovations that will work for the good of our nation, and of the world. In Your Name we pray, Amen.
-"You shall not remove your neighbor's landmark, which the men of old have set, in your inheritance which you will inherit in the land that the Lord your God is giving you to possess. One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established. If a false witness rises against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing." (Deuteronomy 19:14-16)
4. Unemployment rate falls to 7-year low - The Hill
The U.S. economy added 223,000 jobs in April, bringing the jobless rate to a seven-year low after a dismal March that punctuated slow growth in the first three months of the year.
The unemployment rate fell slightly to 5.4 percent from 5.5 percent last month but the economy shed 41,000 more jobs in March than previously report, a sign that the economy might have contracted in the first quarter after an anemic 0.2 percent gain in the first estimate.

- Father, though it be small, we thank You for a reduction of the Unemployment rate to a 7-year-low. We praise You that You are our Provider, and Encourager. We ask that You will continue to encourage those without jobs to find employment, and experience the dignity of supporting their families. We ask for a healthy stimulation of our economy, and wisdom in using that which You have given us. In Your Name we pray, Amen.
-"Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin nor [a]weave; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these.But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith?" (Luke 12:27,28)
5. Cameron sweeps to unexpected triumph in British election - Yahoo
Prime Minister David Cameron won a stunning election victory in Britain, confounding poll predictions that the vote would be the closest in decades to sweep into office for another five years with a clear majority and his Labour opponents in tatters. The sterling currency, bonds and shares surged on a result that reversed near-universal expectations of an inconclusive "hung parliament", in which Cameron would have had to jockey for power with Labour rival Ed Miliband. Instead, Cameron met Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace to accept a mandate to form the first majority Conservative government since John Major's surprise victory in 1992. Despite the unexpectedly decisive outcome, longer-term uncertainty looms over whether Britain will stay in the European Union - and even hold together as a country.
~Lord, You are the Lord of the nations, You speak and it is done! We thank You that You choose to be involved in the affairs of men, and to move each piece on the chessboard - as You see fit. We ask that You would accomplish Your plan for England and Europe through these elections, and the placing of Your people where You desire them to be to carry out their destinies. We thank You for Your great love and Your plan for the nations, and we humbly submit ourselves to that plan, and are in agreement with You, that You do all things well!! Amen.
- "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." (Matthew 24:7)
6. Fairfax County, Virginia School Board to Add "Gender Identity" to Nondiscrimination Policies - Gary Bauer
The Fairfax County Public Schools Board voted last night to add "gender identity" to the county's non-discrimination policy. Hundreds of parents showed up to protest the vote. Many were left standing outside the packed hearing room.
They objected to the radical idea that boys should be allowed to use the girls' bathroom or change in the girls' locker room. Some rightly objected to the costs. The county is going to hire a consultant to create the policy and supervise its implementation.
Not surprisingly, the liberal board members largely ignored the commonsense concerns expressed by parents. The vote was 11-to-1, with one member abstaining. (Gary Bauer)

- Lord God almighty in heaven, we cry out to You on behalf of our children. Save us, O Lord, from the hand of an enemy who would seek to "rob, steal and destroy" each child's understanding of their own, true gender identity. God, help us, we pray, amen.

FBI Director confirms Islamic threat in US
ABC News reports that FBI Director James Comey told ABC and a small group of reporters that there may be thousands of Islamic State recruits in the United States being radicalized through social media. He also said that finding them was like searching for a needle in a haystack and "increasingly the needles are invisible to us." Comey says that IS is using social media and other "radical poisonous propaganda" to encourage joining and traveling to the "caliphate to fight," but also saying "if you can't travel, kill where you are." Comey said, "It's almost as if there is a devil sitting on the shoulder saying, 'Kill, kill, kill, kill' all day long." There is. They call him allah.
This is a pretty stark observation for a government that has continuously painted Islam as a religion of peace. Furthermore, Comey should be asking of his boss, the "president," why the border remains open, and why the Justice Department refuses to enforce immigration laws. It seems that the government has assisted in creating the problem of Islamic infiltration and colonization in this country, and now, is pointing out the obvious without admitting it's complicity. One of the terrorists in Sunday's attack in Garland, Texas had been investigated by the FBI, indicted, and convicted on terrorism charges, but never went to prison. Instead, because of legal technicalities, he was sentenced to probation.
It seems a strange game that the government is playing. They allow the terrorists into the US. They even promote Islam as a peaceful religion. They keep an eye on and track terrorist wannabes and when they catch them, the would be terrorists end up in community service programs rather than in jail or being executed. All the while, the government is saying there is a terrorist threat within the country. That an attack could happen any minute. Keeping people on edge, getting them to report one another, and tightening down on civil rights and freedoms. Too much evidence points to a government that is allowing a deadly threat so it can apply stronger control to the law abiding.
The government uses each threat to tighten its grip on society. It lets terrorists in and then tells us there is a terrorist threat. When a terrorist strikes, it takes away more privacy and increases surveillance on all citizens using the excuse of finding needles in a haystack. Now that terrorism is becoming "mainstreamed" through social media and recruitment of domestics, it becomes inevitable that there will be more attacks. This is very real. Islam is trying to take down America. That means you and me. Christ said in John 10:10, "The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." You see the difference? Speak and live Christ; make disciples through your words and example; change the nation.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Lots of Prayer on the Hill!!

Lots of Prayer on the Hill!!
There has been a lot of prayer on the Hill in the last two weeks. On April 29, over 20 Members and the Chaplains of the House and Senate participated in Washington A Man of Prayer-an event honoring the anniversary of President Washington's first inaugural-in Statuary Hall. You can see the full video of the event here.
Thursday, May 7, was the 64th annual National Day of Prayer. In addition to the National Observance held in the Cannon Caucus Room, 56 Members of Congress, led by Speaker Boehner and Co-Chairmen of the Congressional Prayer Caucus Congressman Forbes and Senator Lankford, penned an open letter to the American people about the important role prayer has played in our nation's history. The letter was published in the National Review. Members also engaged over social media to join in calling the nation to prayer (#NationalDayofPrayer).
Senator Lankford ended his maiden floor speech, given on the National Day of Prayer, with a prayer for our nation.

NDP 2015: America Mobilized to Prayer
All 50 Governors and the President of the United States proclaimed the 64th annual National Day of Prayer as millions of Americans gathered from coast to coast in solemn assembly. It was the single, largest mobilized call to prayer in the history of our nation with more than 43,000 events taking place at courthouse steps, parks, offices, government buildings, churches and homes symbolizing a single prayer - one voice - one cry - for such a time as this. It was, perhaps, the fulfillment of the vision of President John Adams, who wrote on June 17, 1775, "We have appointed a Continental fast. Millions will be upon their knees at once before their great Creator, imploring his forgiveness and blessing; his smiles on American councils and arms."
Stadiums were filled from Pennsylvania to Minnesota with shouts of prayer and adoration. Parades, motorcycle rallies, hot air balloon launches and more were planned in celebration. In Washington D.C., standing room only events with extended lines throughout the duration of the programs gave transparency to the move of the Holy Spirit to unite the church for what appears to be the sparking embers of a global revival. At the precipice of this National Day of Prayer, many within the church had been praying for just such an awakening and the results may have historic impact of immeasurable proportions. Revive us again was the popular theme of the season as millions united in prayer. It was Charles Spurgeon, who in 1866 said, "the word "revive" wears its meaning upon its forehead; it is from the Latin, and may be interpreted thus-to live again, to receive again a life which has almost expired; to rekindle into a flame the vital spark which was nearly extinguished. A true revival is to be looked for in the church of God. Only in the river of gracious life can the pearl of revival be found."
. . . The evidence that God is calling his people to revival are overwhelming and as E.M. Bounds stated in his powerful book, The Weapon of Prayer, "A breed of Christian is greatly needed who will seek tirelessly after God, who will give Him no rest, day and night, until He hearken to their cry. The times demand praying individuals who are all athirst for God's glory, who are broad and unselfish in their desires, quenchless for God, who seek Him late and early, and who will give themselves no rest until the whole earth be filled with His glory."
The formula is written for us clearly in II Chronicles 7:14 and God's people are responding by the masses. He has called his church to:
- Return to Him with humility
- Pray unceasingly
- Seek His face unconditionally
- Turn from our wicked ways
- Live in unity
- And Persevere until His return
Many will look to the headlines to see if there is instant change in America as a result of this massive public outcry and what we must remember is that God will respond in His timing. Our prayers will not go unanswered. Like the disciples who waited 50 days for the promise of Christ to be fulfilled on Pentecost, we must be patient and remain mobilized and confident that the prayers of His people are powerful and effective and generations not yet born will praise the Lord, Psalm 102:18.
"America was founded by people who believed that God was their rock of safety. I recognize we must be cautious in claiming that God is on our side, but I think it's all right to keep asking if we're on His side."
-- President Ronald Reagan, January 25, 1984

- Father, we thank You that the National Day of Prayer was honored yesterday in the very city that saw two terrorists slain during an attack over the past weekend. These two men have since been identified as ISIS. We thank you for the courage demonstrated by the citizens of Garland yesterday, and we continue to pray for the other "lone wolf" ISIS terrorists in our nation tonight. May each one find You as their Savior and as their Lord. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

US Immigration Service Changes 1st Amendment

US Immigration Exam Replaces 'Freedom of Religion' With 'Freedom of Worship.'
"A Republican senator from Oklahoma pressed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson at a hearing Wednesday about why the U.S. is "misrepresenting" Americans' First Amendment right to freedom of religion to immigrants who are applying to become U.S. citizens.
"We in the United States actually have freedom of religion, not freedom of worship," Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., told Johnson yesterday during a Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing. Lankford was referring to the department's decision to include "freedom of worship" instead of "freedom of religion" as a basic American right listed in the civics test that all immigrants must take to become a naturalized U.S. citizen.
. . . "I'd love to see 'freedom of worship' switched to 'freedom of religion.'" . . . Lankford, co-chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, said the phrasing has been that way for "over 10 years," and that he'd "love" for Johnson to take a look at changing it."" (Daily Signal) Read more here.

Obama's Assault On Our Values

As the country has rushed to redefine marriage, I heard over and over again, "Gary, what two adults choose to do in the privacy of their homes doesn't affect me." Yes it does. I hope you're prepared to explain to your middle or high school-aged daughters why they should be okay with boys in their bathrooms from now on.
And don't think that this is an isolated incident taking place in a liberal Washington, D.C. suburb. According to a memo from the district's deputy superintendent, the change in policy was demanded by Obama's Department of Education.
Deputy Superintendent Steven Lockard wrote, "If [Fairfax] refuses to amend its policy, [the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights] has the right to recommend the termination of federal funding to [Fairfax County Public Schools]."
Really? They are going to cut off federal funding to our schools over this? Clearly, Obama's left-wing bureaucrats are doing everything they can to shove their radical agenda down our throats at every opportunity. And notice they are using your tax dollars too -- forcing school districts to hire "gender identity consultants."
Members of Congress should demand public hearings to expose Obama's radicalism. And if Congress is looking for parts of the budget to cut, they should start with this nonsense. (Gary Bauer)
Congress Schedules Pro-Life Vote

Good News! Pro-Life Vote Scheduled
Urgent Action Needed
Dear Sara, Today, House Leadership has announced a vote next week on "The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act" sponsored by Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) and Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) which would end an estimated 13,000 late abortions each year. The bill bans the killing of unborn children at 5 months or later, which is when medical science shows they can experience pain.We know that abortionists like Dr. Kermit Gosnell have been convicted of murdering born-alive babies and performing abortions of unborn children late in development. This bill will help stop these late abortions and protect thousands of unborn lives.
You may know that earlier this year, the House hit an unexpected obstacle in passing this bill due to controversy over the reporting requirement for rape and incest abortions. Since then, pro-life Members have been working hard to address these concerns while preserving the goal of the bill to protect women and children from late abortions. Indeed, the bill now requires a 48-hour waiting period for a woman seeking a late abortion under the exceptions and ensures such a woman has sought counseling and medical care. It applies the federal Born Alive Infant Protection Act, so that babies born alive are guaranteed care in a hospital. It also allows a private right of action so that a woman or parent can sue a doctor who violates this law. Had this measure been law when Dr. Gosnell was operating, there is a good chance that both the unborn children and even the women would be alive today.
. . . The House is set to vote on "Pain Capable Unborn Child Act" (H.R. 36). Please urge your Member to vote for this life affirming legislation.
Urgent Action Needed! Tell Your Representative to Vote for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act
Go here to take action now!

IRAN CALLS FOR GENOCIDE AND THE WORLD IS SILENT
By General Jerry Curry, (Ret.)
In the 1930s Hitler and the Nazis declared that one of their goals was to kill every Jew on the face of the earth. They set about arming the police and creating, with a vengeance, an infrastructure designed to exterminate Jews. Even though Nazi Germany's holocaust was stopped by their defeat in WWII, the after affects still continue. The world's Jewish population has steadily declined and today stands at fewer than 14 million.
The world's Islamic leaders are ordered by the Koran to mimic the genocidal Nazi actions of the 1930s. In obedience to these Koranic instructions they have openly declared that their goal, like that of the Nazis before them, is to kill every Jew and non-Muslim on the face of the earth if they refuse to convert to Islam. But even though the Muslims have issued a death warrant for Jews and non-Muslims, there is no outrage among the condemned, except for the Jews who live in Israel. This same condition existed in Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
Since 1933 the world's total global population has increased nearly fourfold so that it now stands at just over 7 billion, while the world's Jewish population has decreased to fewer than 14 million. Jews make up 22/100th of one percent of the global population. Is it these overwhelming numbers of Jews that terrifies Iran and other Muslim nations, or is there something else going on?
Prior to the Second World War when the writing-was-on-the-wall, apathetic German and East European Jews chose to ignore the obvious tell-tale signs of Jewish genocide, failed to become energized, or to openly oppose the great evil of Nazidom. Even in the American-Jewish community it was business as usual. There were no profoundly paralyzing shock waves either in Germany, the rest of the civilized world or the League of Nations.
American Jews had become deluded and apathetic. They were unmoved by Hitler's genocidal threats certain that he and his government were bluffing, because only a fool or an idiot would believe that the Nazis intended to kill millions of Jews. That is, until the riots and arsons of Kristallnacht began to resonate.
That brings us to today. Muslim leaders in Iran, ISIS, the West Bank, Gaza, and in world- wide Muslim Terrorist Groups are clamoring for another Jewish genocide. They are encouraged by the tepidness of the response and the lack of resistance coming from the U.S. Government and America's Jews. As in Hitler's Germany there was no outrage coming from the League of Nations nor today is there any outrage coming from the United Nations, even though one of its members has been formally and publicly marked for genocide.
For many years now America's Jewish voters have been slowly gravitating towards the political right, away from the Democrat Party. Perhaps this is because the Democrat Party has become the party of the poor, the unemployed, the unemployable, the disfranchised, and the party of recent immigrants of color from Central and Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle-East.
No matter what course Israel and America's Jewish community take, the United States, as leader of the free world, owes it to them and the world's citizens to prevent genocide. No group of nations has the right to declare and implement a policy which leads toward the destruction of a free, independent and democratic people like Israel simply because they don't approve of their religion or ethnicity. That is outrageous.
Evidently the world has not learned from history. If we had, we would recognize that the Nazis of the 1930s are brothers with today's Muslims and this great, brave nation of ours would be leading the free nations of the world in outrage.

Iran Threatens War
While Barack Obama and John Kerry are doing their best to appease the tyrants in Tehran, Iran's leaders are threatening us with war. Yesterday, Brigadier General Hossein Salami of the Revolutionary Guards said the following:
"We welcome war with the U.S. as we do believe that it will be the scene for our success to display the real potentials of our power. We have prepared ourselves for the most dangerous scenarios and this is no big deal."
His comments were echoed by Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, who said this:
"The military option that the Westerners speak of constantly is ridiculous. . . if the military option could have produced any result, they would have already used it. . . Today, Iran's pride and might has made the world's biggest materialistic and military powers kneel down before the Islamic Republic."
I've got news for them. We have >real elections in this country, and we won't always have a president like this one. (Gary Bauer)

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:
I MUST TELL JESUS
"Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares about you." (1 Peter 5:7)
Lyrics:
I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.
Refrain
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.
I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate friend;
If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
Make of my troubles quickly an end.
Refrain
Tempted and tried, I need a great Savior;
One Who can help my burdens to bear;
I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
He all my cares and sorrows will share.
Refrain
O how the world to evil allures me!
O how my heart is tempted to sin!
I must tell Jesus, and He will help me
Over the world the victory to win.

About the Author:
Words & Music: Elisha A. Hoffman, 1893
About the Hymn:
There was a woman to whom God had permitted many visitations of sorrow and affliction. Coming to her home one day, I found her much discouraged. She unburdened her heart, concluding with the question, "Brother Hoffman, what shall I do?" I quoted from the word, then added, "You cannot do better than to take all of your sorrows to Jesus. You must tell Jesus."
For a moment she seemed lost in meditation. Then her eyes lighted as she exclaimed, "Yes, I must tell Jesus." As I left her home I had a vision of that joy-illuminated face . . . and I heard all along my pathway the echo, "I must tell Jesus. I must tell Jesus."
Hoffman wrote these words after reaching home.
