1. Ukraine Gives Rebels Deadline to Disarm or Face Military Operation - Washington Free Beacon

Ukraine has given pro-Russian separatists a Monday morning deadline to disarm or face a "full-scale anti-terrorist operation" by its armed forces, raising the risk of a military confrontation with Moscow.
-Oh, Lord, how we pray for peace to prevail in this troubled area and for the boundaries You have drawn to be honored by all. In the name of Jesus, we bind up the influences of the enemy to cause division and strife within this sovereign country, and pray that the believers in the area will join our cry for Your intervention for justice and mercy.

-"Thus says the Lord of hosts: Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother." (Zechariah 7:9)

2. Iran cancels plan to have warships approach US borders in Atlantic - UK Guardian

After a tense week of diplomacy between American and Iranian representatives, Iran has called off a deployment of warships to the Atlantic Ocean, the semi-official Fars news agency said on Sunday, shelving plans for its vessels to approach US maritime borders in response to the US navy's presence in the Gulf.
- Praise You, Father, for this victory in the turnaround of the warships headed to our waters. We pray for a restoration of our country's standing in the eyes of the world to be a peacemaker and light to the world as we draw close to You.

3. German government to 'cancel Saudi tank deal' - AFP

The German government will not approve a reported deal to sell up to 800 battle tanks to Saudi Arabia, a German Sunday newspaper said, citing government sources.
- Dear Lord, we pray that the cancellation of this purchase will produce peace and de-escalate tensions as the several countries in competition with each other yield to cooler heads. We bind up plans for aggression and dishonoring borders. We especially speak peace and safety over Israel.

-"The Lord will mediate between peoples and will settle disputes between strong nations far away. They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer fight against nation, nor train for war anymore." (Micah 4:3)

4. Satanic Temple launches campaign to 'protect' children and permit them to pray to Satan - Christian Today

Satanists want in on the right to pray in school - as long as they can pray to the devil.
- Father, protect our children and schools from this campaign launched by the satanic temple. You are Lord of All - and we praise Your name - and thank You that You have all authority in heaven and earth!

5. Arizona Closer to Snap Inspections for Abortion Clinics - CBN News

Arizona lawmakers passed a bill this week removing the warrant requirement law for so-called snap inspections of abortion clinics.
- Father, thank You for this bill. May we continue to win the fight against abortion. Forgive our nation, Lord.

- Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,(Acts 3:19)

6. As Boston marks bombing anniversary, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev awaits trial - CNN

As the dignitaries and the survivors and the rescuers gathered in Boston on Tuesday afternoon to mark the anniversary of the bombing, Tsarnaev was sitting in a cell on a former Army installation about 35 miles away. He's scheduled to go to trial in early November, when prosecutors will ask a jury to put him on death row. (Read more)
- One year later, we continue to lift up the families of the three who were killed and the 200 who were injured, for healing of the memories of that traumatic day. We thank the Lord that this young man was apprehended and we ask that justice be done, in Jesus' name, amen.

7. Jewish community shootings: Frazier Glenn Cross makes first court appearance - Fox News

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The white supremacist charged in shootings that left three people dead at two Jewish community sites in suburban Kansas City made his first court appearance Tuesday.

Wearing a dark, sleeveless anti-suicide smock, Frazier Glenn Cross sat in a wheelchair as he was escorted to a video room for the hearing. He stood under his own power to face the judge, crossing his arms and speaking only when answering routine questions from the judge. He requested a court-appointed lawyer. (Read more)
- In an ironic twist, those who were murdered outside of these Jewish facilities on Sunday night in Overland Park, Kansas, were not Jewish, but Christians. But murder is murder. In these shootings, which was clearly an act of anti-semitism, justice must be served. Again, we mourn with those who mourn, and we ask for that justice, in Jesus' name, amen.

8. BREAKING! Unsettling video shows large al Qaeda meeting in Yemen - CNN

A new video shows what looks like the largest and most dangerous gathering of al Qaeda in years. And the CIA and the Pentagon either didn't know about it or couldn't get a drone there in time to strike. . . In the middle of the clip, the man known as al Qaeda's crown prince, Nasir al-Wuhayshi, appears brazenly out in the open, greeting followers in Yemen.. . In a speech to the group, al-Wuhayshi makes it clear that he's going after the United States, saying "We must eliminate the cross. The bearer of the cross is America!" (Read more)
- Lord God, it is amazing that this large cell of al-Qaeda activists has escaped our attention until now, but we do praise you that this hidden group has come to light. Father God, we ask You to guide our own military as they seek to dismantle this cell, and keep our nation safe for another day. We ask, too, for the souls of these 100 terrorists, because we know that You died for them, too. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

9. "Christ Didn't Rise in Vain" Says President Obama at White House Prayer Breakfast - CBN News

(Washington, DC)-According to a CBN News report, over 100 Christian leaders attended the Easter gathering at the White House on Monday, invited by President Obama. The tradition was begun four years ago by the president. (Read the full report here.) > > > Also reported by: Breaking Christian News

- One of the guests at this breakfast, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, stated the following:

"I think it's amazing that the most powerful nation on the planet and probably the most important building politically speaking in the world, that we're having a moment where we're not only acknowledging but celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior."

Today we give thanks to our Lord for this news, and ask that the heart of our "king" be softened unto salvation through the Cross of Christ. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Hours before the start of the Jewish Sabbath, armed Israeli soldiers on Friday shut down a seminary for ultranationalist Jewish students in the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar.

3. Israeli Institute Prepares Priests for Jerusalem's Third Temple - US News

On April 10, at 5 p.m., hundreds of Jews will gather at the Maimonides rabbinical institution plaza in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem and start learning the Jewish laws of Passover. Rabbis and experts, including Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the head of the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem, the leading body preparing for the establishment of the third temple, will teach the audience the laws of the Passover sacrifice. Alongside Ariel, the ritual slaughterer (shohet) Rabbi Yehudah Giatt will teach the audience about the unique elements of the slaughter of the Passover sacrifice. After the lessons, the real thing will start: the simulation of the Passover sacrifice.

4. Temple Mount Explodes in Violence Ahead of Passover - Israel Today

Muslims atop Jerusalem's Temple Mount provided Israeli Jews with a Passover holiday greeting in the form of stones and firebombs on Sunday morning. Two Israeli police officers were wounded when Muslim rioters attacked them and possibly other Jewish visitors at the Mughrabi gate at the Temple Mount's southwestern end, adjacent to the Western Wall.

Israeli and Palestinian negotiators convened Sunday in Jerusalem in the latest attempt to save teetering peace talks.

Operation Desert Tortoise: Land of the Free?

The militant arm of extreme environmentalists, the Bureau of Land Management, retreated over the weekend, apparently ceding victory to a Nevada cattle rancher and the hundreds of American citizens and armed citizen militia. But I wouldn't count on the peace lasting too long. As the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13)." Property ownership is foundational to a free people. Communism, however, abolishes all property ownership, and from the BLM through to the White House, America's federal government is infested with communists. The Nevada land confiscation attempt is a small tip of a big iceberg.
Several legitimate news organizations--The Washington Post, Reuters, Breitbart, Bloomberg, WorldNetDaily, InfoWars--have been reporting since August 2012 how this Administration and certain Senators with proven socialist records have been pursuing an energy deal with Communist China that includes confiscating millions of acres of farm and ranch land from citizens. One such example was the attempted takeover of the cattle ranch in Nevada by BLM in the name of the "desert tortoise." In reality, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his son Rory had brokered a deal with Communist Chinese to use the land for a solar panel plant. The head of the BLM is a former senior advisor to Harry Reid.
WorldNetDaily and the Wall Street Journal traced Chinese interest in US oil and natural gas to a decision by the occupant of the Oval Office to allow the Communist Chinese to buy a $17 billion stake in nearly three million acres of energy producing land in eight states. This began in October 2009 and continues today. Bloomberg reported in April 2012 that Communist Chinese billionaire Wang Yusuo had teamed up with Senator Reid to buy Nevada land for one-eighth of its value for the solar energy farm. Wang's US-domiciled energy company contributed over $40,000 to Reid's reelection campaign. Reid's son Rory is the lobbyist for that same company. These people will come after your land, too, if they can.

One other thing communism abolishes is all religion--it's part of the Communist Manifesto. So taking Christ out of people in government--the very foundation of a person's moral and spiritual base, leaves the government without morals. This government as led by these communists is the manifestation of decades of infestation. These evildoers will go to any length to take the fruits of another man's labor--his land, his possessions, his freedom. From socialized medicine to confiscating your property, they will go as far as you allow them. There is no end to their greed in the name of equality and fairness. The house needs cleaning as it is full of varmints.

3. High Court Declines Appeals Involving Christian Photographers In New Mexico
"The First Amendment protects our freedom to speak or not to speak on any issue without fear of governmental punishment. We had hoped the United States Supreme Court would use this case to affirm this basic constitutional principle; however, the court will likely have several more opportunities to do just that in other cases of ours that are working their way through the court system."

It's Tax Day!

Today is the day many Americans dread -- Tax Day. While taxes are a "necessary evil," the fiscal condition of our country is one of the greatest challenges we face. Early tax receipts suggest that the Treasury Department may bring in record revenues this year due to recent tax increases and a slowly growing economy.

Yet in spite of that record revenue, the Obama Administration still expects to run a deficit of roughly $500 billion. Here's what it would look like if a typical family spent money as irresponsibility as the Obama Administration.

Clearly big government spending is out of control. Under Obama's proposed budget, interest payments on the national debt would exceed the Pentagon's budget in just six years. Perhaps that is why Obama's budget was defeated in the House of Representatives last week 2-to-413! (I bet you didn't read that in your local newspaper.)

Here's another disturbing fact about the state of Obama's "economic recovery" -- food stamp recipients now outnumber full-time working women. (Gary Bauer)

As the situation in Ukraine turns violent, Washington is buzzing about the weakness of the Obama Administration. There was another phone call yesterday between Vladimir Putin and President Obama in which, according to the White House, the president reportedly urged Putin to try to control the separatists in Ukraine.

Control them? Putin is directing the separatists in Ukraine!

He has just demanded U.N. condemnation of the Ukrainian government's efforts to retake buildings seized by pro-Russian commandos. And what happens when the U.N. fails to comply? Putin will likely claim that he has no choice but to step in to protect ethnic Russians since the U.N. will not.

Back in Washington, Obama is going so far out of his way to avoid offending Russia that a dispute has erupted within the administration over the most appropriate way to deliver MREs (meals ready to eat) to Ukraine. Some in the Pentagon argued for a visible display of American support -- sending the MREs on Air Force planes, like in the Berlin airlift. But they ended up discretely shipping them in commercial trucks.
This excerpt from a weekend Wall Street Journal report says it all:

"The White House says it is still reviewing other items on Kiev's wish-list, including medical kits, uniforms, boots and military socks. 'You want to calibrate your chest-thumps,' a senior military official said of the step-by-step American response to Russian President Vladimir Putin's military moves. 'He does something else in Ukraine, we release the socks.'"

That's right, folks. Crimea is gone. Russian tanks are ready to roll through the rest of Ukraine, and Obama's "Plan B" is to send them socks.
Meanwhile Russia is doing everything it can to avoid provoking America. . . NOT!

In response to Obama's restraint, Putin flexed his biceps again -- this time ordering a fighter jet to repeatedly buzz the USS Donald Cook, a guided missile destroyer, sailing in international waters in the Black Sea.

Putin is following Vladimir Lenin's advice: "Probe with a bayonet. If you meet steel, stop. If you meet mush, then push." So far, Putin's bayonet has met nothing but mush, and we've got three more years of Putin pushing us around.
Folks, nobody wants a war. But the point I am making is this: Reagan had it right -- peace through strength. Weakness invites war. At some point a country like Russia, Iran, China or North Korea will miscalculate, as Hitler did by invading Poland, and the response will have to be war. The way to avoid war is by quickly and clearly demonstrating that there are limits to aggression.

Passover Prayers: April 14-22

As many of you know, the Lord recently showed me a very serious need of prayer for protection for our nation during this time. He spoke to me saying that there are serious threats on many levels. These threats are not only from external enemies, but also enemies from within. In other words, any weak place in the nation is being pressed and exploited by the demonic realm.

Already we are seeing some manifestations of this in everything from school shootings and knifings, to hate crimes and violence in our cities. A shooting at a Jewish Community Center that occurred over the weekend in Kansas City carried racial overtones. Another potential terrorist plot developed by a Moroccan was uncovered as well recently.

Today, on the first day of Passover, I heard the Lord clearly say, "The death angel is going to try and move across the nation. Tell my people to apply the blood of the Lamb over their homes, schools, their churches, cities, states and the whole nation."

Therefore, we are calling for believers to spend special seasons of prayer for protection for the United States from April 14-22. We ask that you pray with us, and look forward to seeing those prayers answered in the coming days ahead.

Former Worker for Abortionist Kermit Gosnell Accepts Christ After Serving Prison Time

"We currently have a worker in our ministry who was a part of Gosnell's clinic. She has served her time in prison and is working to get her life back in order. It has truly been amazing to see her life transformed through the power of Christ." -Abby Johnson
(Round Rock, TX)-Abby Johnson's ministry to abortion workers has reached a big milestone in less than two years. On Monday, Johnson announced her group, And Then There Were None, has now helped over 100 abortion workers leave the industry.

"A few weeks ago, we told you that we were very close to reaching our 100th abortion clinic worker. I'm so happy to announce that we have now reached that mark! We are actually at 101 workers who have joined our ministry!" Johnson said in an e-mail Monday morning.
According to Johnson, her group is the first "national ministry to help abortion clinic workers transition out of the industry." She told LifeSiteNews that "there was never one group that everyone could point to and say, 'Hey, you should call them. They can help you.'"

Johnson says the stories her organization can tell are amazing. "We currently have a worker in our ministry who was a part of Gosnell's clinic. She has served her time in prison and is working to get her life back in order," she wrote. "It has truly been amazing to see her life transformed through the power of Christ. She was also very much a victim to Gosnell and his incredible manipulation. But she has overcome that part of her life and now fully supports the prolife movement."
"We also have 4 workers who have come to us... [who] worked for Douglas Karpen out of Houston. They all now have an amazing heart for the unborn, their mothers and anyone else who has been deceived by the abortion industry," Johnson says. "These women also have an amazing desire to see justice served. They are working tirelessly to shut down Karpen's clinic and to remove him from the medical field." (LifeSiteNews) Read more here.
