Under the Cross of Christ"

1. In surprise move, Netanyahu says he's ready to negotiate based on Saudi peace initiative - Jerusalem Post

Israel is prepared to hold peace talks based on the Arab Peace Initiative, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu surprisingly declared Monday just moments after new Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman took the oath of office, ending a month-long saga over which party would join Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government.

"I remain committed to making peace with the Palestinians and with all our neighbors," Netanyahu said in a press conference following the swearing- in ceremony. "The Arab peace initiative includes positive elements that can help revive constructive negotiations with the Palestinians.

"We are willing to negotiate with the Arab states revisions to that initiative so that it reflects the dramatic changes in the region since 2002, but maintains the agreed goal of two states for two peoples." (Read More)

2. Israel braces itself for Paris peace confab . . . by doing nothing - Times of Israel

This coming Friday, foreign ministers from some of the world's most powerful countries, including the United States, Russia and Germany, as well as a handful of Arab states, will gather in Paris to discuss ways to reanimate the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

The two parties at the heart of the conflict will not send official representatives to this week's conference, a precursor to a second gathering later this year that Israelis and Palestinians are urged to attend.

How is Jerusalem bracing for an event that will likely lead to additional demands on Israel to make concessions toward a peace deal? (Read More)

3. Bennett supports term limits on PM - YNET News

Bennett said this in response to a round table discussion question asked by Merav Michaeli (Zionist Union), saying it is a "welcomed step."

"They say that power corrupts, and that absolute power corrupts absolutely. This conclusion was reached in the US, and they limited the president to a maximum of two terms," the education minister said, continuing "with Obama, we are seeing during his second term that he is wildly trying to push through his agenda on issues such as Cuba, Iran, healthcare reform, and more."

Bennett then added that "I view this initiative as something positive, but we have to do things with a forward looking perspective, and not from a backwards looking one. Meaning, it's not fair to go and bring this issue to someone in the middle of their term, but we will bring it to the parliamentary group. We will discuss this initiative in the coming days, and as long as this doesn't turn into a partisan issue, I think that it will be welcomed." (Read More)

4. Begin: Right-wingers who support Liberman are fools - Israel National News

Likud MK Benny Begin on Tuesday blasted the appointment of Yisrael Beytenu chief Avigdor Liberman as Defense Minister, ridiculing right-wing supporters of the move as "fools". "There are three kinds of right-wingers," said Begin, "moderate right-wingers, extreme right-wingers, and foolish right-wingers."

"Just yesterday Liberman showed us his views," said Begin, referring to Liberman's call for a two-state solution on Monday and previous statements endorsing land swaps along Israel's narrow coastal plain.

"I was surprised by those members [of the nationalist camp], some of whom live in Judea and Samaria, who remember the ideas Liberman has talked about [in the past] that the western border of that same [proposed Palestinian] state - which I see as a PLO state at the beginning that will quickly become a Hamas state - that its border needs to be along the length of Highway 6 [along Israel's central coastal plain]." 5. Arab media: New Jordanian PM is pro-Israel - Israel National News

Jordan's new Prime Minister, Hani Mulki, who was appointed by King Abdullah II on Sunday after he dissolved parliament, is being described by Arab media as "pro-Israel".

Husam Abdallat, a former senior government aide at the prime minister's office, told the Al Jazeera network on Monday that Mulki will most likely be given the job of attempting to engineer new negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.

"Mulki will be working to bring Palestinians and Israelis to the negotiation table and work to bring a final solution to the Palestinian cause which will most likely be at the expense of the Palestinian people," he said. (Read More)

1. State Dept. 'Alerting U.S. Citizens to Risk of Potential Terrorist Attacks Throughout Europe' - CNSNews.com

The U.S. State Department today issued a travel alert warning Americans of the risk of terrorist attacks throughout Europe throughout the summer.

"As part of the State Department's continuous efforts to provide Americans travelling abroad with information about relevant events, we are alerting U.S. citizens to the rise of potential terrorist attacks throughout Europe, targeting major events, tourist sites, restaurants, commercial centers and transportation," the alert said.

It specifically pointed to venues related to the European Soccer Championship that run from June to July as a potential targets and said the Catholic Church's World Youth Day that will be held in Poland at the end of July is an event under which "local infrastructure may be strained." (Read more)

- Father God, we continue to lift up prayers for the safety of all airline passengers, worldwide, from terrorist attacks. Lord, we ask for Your mercy as these souls travel abroad, and for a supernatural ability for the security personnel on the ground to keep all safe. We ask this in Your name, amen and amen.

- "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." (Matthew 21:22)

2. Plans found for ISIS attack in France as England plays Russia - Israel National News

Chilling evidence was unearthed following the confiscation of the laptop of Salah Abdeslam, primary orchestrator of the Paris and Brussels terrorist attacks. Following Abdeslam's capture, police discovered plans to attack football fans in Marseille where England will play Russia next month in the Euro 2016. Authorities fear that ISIS followers will execute the attacks outlined despite Abdeslam's arrest.

Plans include suicide bombings and large scale shooting attacks on the tens of thousands of fans who are expected to flock to the city for England's opening match. Marseille's busy Old Port, home to many of the city's most popular bars and restaurants, was singled out as a prime target for ISIS fanatics. References were also made to the use of drones as a possible means of inflicting wide scale carnage.

Marseille is France's third largest metropolitan area, and has earned the ominous title of Europe's most dangerous city. 'Marseille is sick with its violence' lamented French Interior Minister Manual Valls. The city has a significant Muslim presence, with approximately 40% of its residents adhering to the Islamic faith. Authorities fear that fanaticism could take hold of the poverty stricken region and lead to further terrorist attacks on French soil. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You that this evidence has come to light, and we see this as a direct answer to our prayers to You, Most High God. We call forth Your wisdom now for those in authority, as they employ new strategies to keep their people safe; and we continue to ask that more and more of these wicked plots be found, in Your name, amen.

- "For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open." (Mark 4:22)

3. House Committee Approves Bill to Protect Private Property From Gov't. Seizure - CNSNews.com

A bill introduced by Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) to protect citizens' private property from seizure by law enforcement officials without "clear and convincing evidence" that it was used to commit a crime was approved by the House Judiciary Committee last week by a voice vote.

The bill "raises the standard of proof law enforcement must show before depriving an individual of his or her property, increases accountability and oversight of seizures and forfeitures, and strengthens protections for Americans whose property has been seized by law enforcement agencies," according to the committee's website.

The bill, known as the Due Process Act, is part of the committee's Criminal Justice Reform Initiative, a bipartisan effort that includes seven other bills approved by the committee in the past year, including the Criminal Code Improvement Act of 2015, which would protect individuals and businesses who commit unintentional violations of the Code, and the Sentencing Reform Act, which would lower the minimum sentences for small drug offences. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for the passage of this bill in committee, and we ask that it now be passed by a vote in the full Congress when they return from recess. Thank You, too, by faith, for passage in the Senate, and the signing into law by the president. We ask all of this in Your mighty name, amen and amen.

- "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." (John 14:14)

4. Justice Dept. pushes back against Texas judge's sanctions - CNSNews.com

The Justice Department pushed back Tuesday against a Texas judge's demand that its lawyers attend an ethics course, saying the sanction is inappropriate and that complying with it could cost the government and taxpayers millions of dollars over the next few years.

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen, who earlier blocked President Barack Obama's immigration executive action, ordered legal training this month after saying he was misled by Justice Department attorneys about whether the government had begun implementing one of the proposals. He wrote in his May 19 order that "for whatever reason, the Justice Department trial lawyers appearing in this court chose not to tell the truth" and that such conduct was "certainly not worthy of any department whose name includes the word 'Justice.'"

In a response Tuesday, the Justice Department said that it "emphatically" disagrees with Hanen that any of its lawyers acted in bad faith or with the intent to deceive. The government asked the judge to put his order on hold so that federal lawyers can seek review of it. (Read more)

- Father God, we have been following this case since last week, when we learned that Judge Hanen had taken these DOJ attorneys to task for presenting false evidence in his Court. Lord, we ask for true justice in this case, and for the continued protection of this judge. In Your name, amen.

- "For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them." (Isaiah 61:8) -

5. June 7: FEMA Will Hold a Drill to Prepare for a 9.0 Cascadia Subduction Zone Earthquake and Tsunami - Charisma News

Starting on June 7, FEMA will be conducting a large scale drill that has been named "Cascadia Rising" that will simulate the effects of a magnitude-9.0 earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone and an accompanying west coast tsunami dozens of feet tall.

According to the official flier for the event, more than "50 counties, plus major cities, tribal nations, state and federal agencies, private sector businesses, and non-governmental organizations across three states-Washington, Oregon and Idaho-will be participating."

In addition to "Cascadia Rising," U.S. Northern Command will be holding five other exercises simultaneously. According to the final draft of the Cascadia Rising drill plan, those five exercises are entitled "Ardent Sentry 2016,″ "Vigilant Guard," "Special Focus Exercise," "Turbo Challenge" and "Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore." The primary scenario that of all of these participants will be focusing on will be one that involves a magnitude 9.0 earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone followed by a giant tsunami that could displace up to a million people from northern California to southern Canada.

We have never seen such a disaster before in all of U.S. history. Do they know something that the rest of us do not? (Read more)

- Lord God, we do ask . . . what do they know that we do not know? Abba Father, we do know, however, that You are a God of mercy, full of grace and compassion; and that, if we cry out to You, You answer. Thank You, Omniscient God, that You know what lies ahead. We place our trust in You, that when that time comes, You will guide us through.

Please help those who are involved in these exercises to learn needed lessons so that they, too, can respond when and if a crisis of this magnitude arises. In Your name, amen.

- "He has brought me to his banqueting place, And his banner over me is love [waving overhead to protect and comfort me]." (Song of Solomon 2:4 AMP)

6. Texas residents brace for more flooding after torrential rains kill six - Fox News

Residents of some rural southeast Texas counties braced for more flooding on Monday along a river that is expected to crest at a record level just two years after it had run dry in places because of drought.

National Weather Service meteorologists predicted that the Brazos river would crest at 53.5 feet by midday Tuesday in Fort Bend County, three feet above the previous record and topping a 1994 flood that caused extensive damage.

During four days of torrential rain, six people have died in floods along the Brazos, which runs from New Mexico to the Gulf of Mexico. A Brazos River Authority map shows all 11 of the reservoirs fed by the Brazos at 95 to 100 percent capacity. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask that You would cause these rains to stop, even though the meteorologists are predicting otherwise. Father God, rise up, we pray, and show Yourself to be mighty and sovereign on their behalf, in Your name, amen.

- "The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!" (Matthew 8:27)

7. Twisters Spotted, 9 Dead as Nation's Midsection Prepares for Severe Storms - NBC News

Funnel clouds and twisters swept through Nebraska and Colorado on Monday as several other states in the country's mid-section - including flood-battered Texas - prepared for potentially powerful wind gusts, hail and heavy rain.

Monday's bad weather watch stretched from Southwest Texas to North Dakota. Parts of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas were under severe thunderstorm watches well into the evening.

Video from Peetz, Colorado and nearby Sidney, Nebraska, showed massive funnel clouds Monday churning across a dirt road and fields. No injuries were reported, but a barn in Colorado was destroyed, and a home had its door blown off, the Logan County Sheriff's Office said. (Read more and view amazing photos of these terrifying storms by going here.)

- Abba Father, just as we have asked for Your hand of mercy over the rain, we ask for Your hand of mercy to cause these winds to abate, too. Thank You, Abba, that it is written that nothing is too difficult for You. In Your name, amen.

- "For nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1:37)

8. Anne Graham Lotz: I Believe We Are Living at the End of Human History - ChristianPost.com

The daughter of world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, is calling on Christians to evangelize, warning that America is experiencing the last stages of God's judgment before the end of human history.

Speaking to a gathering of pastors at the Family Research Council's 2016 "Watchmen on the Wall" conference on Capitol Hill Thursday, Lotz, the founder of AnGeL Ministries, discussed the "urgency to reach the lost," emphasizing that this is a critical time for believers to lead others to Christ before they are forced to live an eternity separated from God in Hell.

Lotz . . . sat down with The Christian Post for an interview following her speech and elaborated on her belief that her generation will not pass before the return of Jesus Christ, and her warning to Americans that the transgender bathroom debate reveals the country is in the last stages of God's judgment. (Read more)

- Father, we do thank You for Anne Graham Lotz - a voice of truth and clarity in a time of confusion and disorientation. We agree with her plea, that it is now time to spend all of our time and energy in reaching the lost, for Christ is coming soon. May her message be heard far and wide, and may all who are now in the Body of Christ take heed, and obey. We ask this in Your name, amen.

- "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work." (John 9:4)

Courtroom Drama for David's Tent

Courtroom Drama for David's Tent

[Please note: due to our own space limitations, we are not able to reprint all of Jason Hershey's message, given in part below. PLEASE BE SURE TO GO TO THIS LINK and to learn of the current legal challenges facing David's Tent DC. Most of all, let's thank God together for Jason Hershey and his amazing team of worshippers who have now logged thousands of hours of NONSTOP PRAISE in our nation's capital, just because He is Worthy! AMEN!]

Dear Friends,

The main purpose of this email is to inform you of a schedule change at David's Tent until further notice, and to beckon your prayers for us in a difficult situation. It's also to communicate what's happening surrounding the permitting of David's Tent.

Starting last Friday from 9am-5pm each day we have to go unamplified at David's Tent. That means, no microphones, speakers, electric guitars, keyboards etc. But does mean, voices, piano, acoustic guitars, hand drums and tambourines!

This is why we are pulling the plug . . .

For the past two weeks, since we have moved to John Marshall Park, the National Park Service has been getting calls of complaint from someone inside the U.S. Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia Circuit. This court is a Federal Court and many would say the 2nd most powerful court in the nation, trailing only the Supreme Court. They are also David's Tent's next door neighbor right now as John Marshall Park is nestled in between the DC Circuit Court and the Canadian Embassy.

They claim the volume of our worship is too loud and disrupting to their work day. David's Tent has responded by turning our volume down to extremely low levels. We even bought a decibel meter to scientifically make sure that the level of our sound is lower than the traffic going by and the general "hum" of the city. I am confident that for the past week there is no way they could hear our music inside their building.

Yet, in spite of our best efforts, this past Wednesday I was informed that the DC Circuit Court called the Solicitor of the Department of Interior (the Superior of the NPS) and put the pressure on even more. Then on Thursday the NPS informed me that the Chief Executive of the DC Circuit Court filed an injunction against the NPS demanding the revocation of our permit.

That same day, it was suggested to me from the NPS that we move the tent once again. . .

> > > To read all of these details, please go here.
- Father God, we thank You for David's Tent -- a ministry birthed out of Your love for our people, and Your desire that we praise You. We thank You, too, for raising up Jason Hershey and his amazing team of worshippers who have been so faithful to this calling.

We ask for Your will to be done in and through them, and for Your strength to infuse them, in Jesus Name, amen and amen. We speak peace to those who would attempt to stand in their way, in Your name, amen.

- "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)

Four Killed, Church and Shops Burnt as Religious Violence Breaks Out in Niger

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

ON JORDAN'S STORMY BANKS I STAND

"The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp." (Revelation 21:23)

Lyrics

On Jordan's stormy banks I stand,
And cast a wishful eye
To Canaan's fair and happy land,
Where my possessions lie.

Refrain

I am bound for the promised land,
I am bound for the promised land;
Oh who will come and go with me?
I am bound for the promised land.

O the transporting, rapturous scene,
That rises to my sight!
Sweet fields arrayed in living green,
And rivers of delight!

Refrain

. . . When I shall reach that happy place,
I'll be forever blest,
For I shall see my Father's face,
And in His bosom rest.

Refrain

Filled with delight my raptured soul
Would here no longer stay;
Though Jordan's waves around me roll,
Fearless I'd launch away.

Refrain

Mysterious huge crack developing in Wyoming

A crack that started developing in late September on a Wyoming ranch is now about the length of six football fields. The crack, which is about 50 yards wide, is located 40 miles south of Ten Sleep. And it doesn't make any sense, where it happened it's just like the ground opened up, and the size of it is just huge."

Hunting guides scouting for antelope discovered the massive tear in the ground, which is hundreds of yards long and at least 100 feet deep in some places. Employees of SNS Outfitter & Guides service took photos of their discovery and then got busy with hunting season. When they came up for air last week, they posted the photos on the company's Facebook page and watched the world react.

New Reports Out of Germany of Muslims Flocking to Jesus

(Germany) - [CBN News] Scores of Muslims are reportedly turning to Christianity in Europe.

A report by The Daily Beast claims thousands of Muslim refugees living in countries like Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark, are converting to Christianity and getting baptized.

The pastor of a German congregation in Berlin told the online publication that the conversions were "a gift from God" and said 1,200 Muslims, mainly from Afghanistan and Iran, have embraced the Christian faith in the last three years.

Earlier this year, Albert Babajan, pastor of a Pentecostal congregation in Hamburg, Germany, said many refugees escaping from Muslim-dominated countries expressed their disappointment about Islam.

One convert told a local Germany newspaper, "In Iran I began to look into various religions. Then I really asked myself why I live all the time in fear."
