ABORTION - THE U.S. SUPREME COURT COMMITS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND INVITES JUDGMENT

The U.S. Supreme Court has considered three major abortion cases this term, concluding with its decision in the Texas case today. In the two previous cases, the Supreme Court has committed two major crimes against humanity. Today it continues with a third.

Under International Law, a crime against humanity occurs when a government withdraws legal protection from a class of human beings which results in heinous acts against them, including death.

"It is with grief and respect that I make this report" says Allan Parker, President, The Justice Foundation (TJF), attorney for over 3,000 women in the three Supreme Court cases. The fact that the child in the womb is a human being, a member of the species Homo Sapiens, has been upheld based on science by the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.

With the Texas decision, the Supreme Court has also withdrawn legal protection from another class of human beings, women. More women will suffer physical and psychological injuries and death from abortion. (Please go here to read entire statement.)


2. SCOTUS Chooses Riskier Business on Abortion - Family Research Council

It's a surreal day in America when hundreds of young women stand outside the U.S. Supreme Court and cheer a decision that subjects them to dirty and dangerous abortion chambers like Kermit Gosnell's. Yet that's exactly what happened this morning when five unelected justices decided to topple a law enacted by the leaders of Texas, which required that abortionists offer such "controversial" things as trained staff, up-to-date sanitation codes, or hallways wide enough to accommodate gurneys. 3. A Sad Day At The Supreme Court - Gary Bauer

Today is a sad day for the pro-life movement. In a 5-to-3 decision, the Supreme Court struck down laws passed by the state of Texas regulating the health and safety standards of abortion clinics. After Texas passed these regulations, more than half of the abortion clinics in the state shut down. Many states adopted similar laws in recent years.

Incredibly, the court's majority opinion, written by Justice Stephen Breyer and joined by Justice Anthony Kennedy, claimed that the safety regulations failed "to justify the burdens upon access that each imposes."

. . . when it comes to destroying innocent unborn life in the womb, the left wants no limits at all. Abortion until the moment of birth, paid for by the taxpayers -- that is Hillary Clinton's extreme position.

It is worth remembering that these state laws were a reaction to Kermit Gosnell and his barbaric abortion practices.

Today's decision further highlights the stakes this November. Not only will the next president fill Justice Scalia's vacancy, but he or she could likely make several appointments. (Read more here)


4. Supreme Court's Ruling a "Sad Day for Women" - LifeSite News

Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in dissent that the "decision exemplifies the Court's troubling tendency 'to bend the rules when any effort to limit abortion, or even to speak in opposition to abortion, is at issue.'" (Read more here)


5. Supreme Court Opinion Rules Against Texas Abortion Law - Liberty Counsel

Today the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 5-3 opinion, overturned the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt, which relates to two provisions in a Texas abortion law, requiring that doctors have local admitting privileges at nearby hospitals and that abortion facilities have to meet the standards of outpatient surgery centers.

Only Justice Thomas would have upheld the abortion clinic regulations. Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito would have sent the case back to the lower court for further hearings. The case is very fact intensive and thus similar regulations in other states will continue to be litigated. (Read more)

1. Israel sets up 24-hour situation room to monitor Brexit effects - Jerusalem Post

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon on Sunday said the Finance Ministry has set up a 24-hour "situation room" to keep tabs on economic repercussions from the United Kingdom's vote to break from the European Union.

"We have a strong and stable economy that is prepared to deal with any scenario and challenge," Kahlon said, noting that he was coordinating closely with Bank of Israel Governor Karnit Flug and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he met over the weekend to discuss the British exit, or Brexit.

The TA-100, representing the largest 100 companies trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, opened down roughly 3 percent at 1,203.1 on Sunday, the first day of trading following the referendum, and closed even lower at 1,199.5. (Read more)


2. Israelis push back against Turkey normalization deal - Times of Israel

More than half of the Israelis are against a deal to restore ties with Turkey, a poll released Monday found, as politicians and families of slain soldiers criticized the agreement announced earlier in the day.

Out of 600 respondents in the survey conducted Monday morning, 33 percent voiced support for the Turkey deal, 56% were opposed and 11% were undecided, according to Channel 10, which commissioned the poll.

There was significantly greater support for the deal among the 100 Arab Israelis surveyed - 72% supported it, compared to just 24% of the 500 Jews polled. Jewish Israelis were overwhelmingly opposed, with 65% saying they did not support the deal. (Read more)


3. Coalition head lashes out at 'leftist' defense chiefs, sparks uproar - Israel Hayom

Coalition Chairman MK David Bitan (Likud) sparked controversy Saturday after suggesting the political views held by Israel's top defense officials are becoming increasingly leftist.

"Over the years something happens to people who serve as Mossad or Shin Bet [security agency] directors," Bitan said at a cultural event in Beersheba. "I believe that during their term in office they develop leftist political views."

Using late Mossad director Meir Dagan to illustrate his point, Bitan said, "Dagan wanted to vie for a Knesset seat before he was named Mossad director. I knew Meir Dagan. Coming into the Mossad he was a radical rightist, and coming out he was a leftist. With the exception of [former Shin Bet Director and Likud MK] Avi Dichter, everyone in the Mossad and the Shin Bet are leftists." (Read more)


4. Lebanon's Hezbollah vows to increase presence in Syria - Israel Hayom

Lebanon's Hezbollah said on Friday it would increase its military presence in Syria's Aleppo, saying the battle for the northern city was a fight to defend the entire country.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that as fighting in Syria intensified, 26 of the group's fighters had been killed in the Aleppo region since the beginning of June, a rare acknowledgment of the toll the battle is taking.

Hezbollah is fighting alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad's army.

"We are facing a new wave, or a new stage, of projects of war against Syria which are being waged in northern Syria, particularly in the Aleppo region," Nasrallah said in a speech broadcast live on the group's Al-Manar TV. (Read more)


5. Israel moves to strip citizenship, residency of would-be IS fighters - Times of Israel

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri on Sunday moved to strip two residents of East Jerusalem of their Israeli citizenship and residency status for their involvement with the Islamic State terror group.

Deri asked Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to revoke the citizenship of Luqman Atun, 24, who is a resident of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Tsur Baher. Atun flew to Turkey in October 2014, but didn't have enough money to be taken to the Syrian border. (Read more)


6. Netanyahu praises British PM after resignation as 'true friend of Israel' - Jerusalem Post

Departing British Prime Minister David Cameron is a true friend of Israel and the Jewish people, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after the UK premier resigned.

"Cooperation between Britain and Israel grew much closer in the years of his term in the areas of security, economics and technology, and together, we set strong foundations for continued cooperation," Netanyahu said Friday.

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, meanwhile, said he was saddened by Cameron's resignation, calling him a "responsible and fair leader and a true gentleman. "I met him when he was opposition leader and showed a deep friendship with Israel, and continued to act that way throughout his years as prime minister," Erdan stated.

Erdan, who is responsible for the government's boycott-fighting policies, pointed out that Cameron recently led an important campaign opposing procurement boycotts by public authorities.

Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Avi Dichter also called Cameron a friend of Israel, and saying his resignation was "unfortunate," but proves his integrity. "In March 2014, Cameron came here and gave one of the most important and stirring speeches by a European leader since the establishment of the state," Dichter recounted.

"Cameron stated his commitment to Israel's security and recognized that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish People." Dichter thanked Cameron for his cooperation with Israel and expressed confidence that the UK will continue in his path in the coming years. (Read more)

1. Supreme Court strikes down Texas abortion law - Fox News

The Supreme Court on Monday struck down a Texas law regulating abortion clinics, delivering a 5-3 decision that was the high court's first major foray into the abortion issue in nine years.

Justice Stephen Breyer wrote the majority opinion for the court, with Justices Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan joining him. Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented. (Read more)

- Father, we are deeply grieved that this Texas law was not upheld, first for the protection of women and their unborn children and second for the constitutional will of the people of Texas being overturned. We pray for people around this nation to choose life, thereby having the same effect as laws protecting the unborn. A virtuous people have no need of the laws of men. Return US to You, O Lord, and restore the foundation of our representative government.

2. Obama Invites 18.7 Million Immigrants to Avoid Oath of Allegiance, Pledge to Defend America - Breitbart

It's not only illegal aliens who are escaping enforcement of the nation's immigration laws.

Under the Obama administration's expansive interpretation of executive authority, legal immigrants seeking citizenship through the nation's Naturalization process are now exempt from a key part of the Oath of Allegiance.

Immigrants seeking to become citizens no longer have to pledge to "bear arms on behalf of the United States." They can opt out of that part of the Oath. Nor do they have to cite any specific religious belief that forbids them to perform military service. (Read more)

3. See Something, Say Nothing? Ex-Homeland Official Ordered to Hide Links to This Group - CBN

A senior member of the Department of Homeland Security is speaking out about how he was punished for identifying links between Islam and terrorist threats on U.S. soil.

Whistleblower Philip Haney, who is set to testify before a Senate subcommittee Tuesday, recently shared some of his remarkable story with CBN's Jennifer Wishon. After the terror attack in Orlando, the Justice Department tried to redact all references the shooter made to Islam during his 911 call.

That blunder allowed the public to see the type of scrubbing that's been going on behind the federal government's closed doors for years -- a systematic erasing of links between Islam and terrorism. "They told me, we want you to eliminate - the word was modify - all the linking information in about 150 records that I put into the system on - guess what group? The Muslim Brotherhood," Haney told CBN News.

That was in 2009, one year after President Barack Obama was elected. Haney says the president relied on the Brotherhood and other Islamic groups with ties to terrorism to craft U.S. policy.

"Then in 2012 it happened again. This time they didn't just modify the information in the records, they completely eliminated them out of the system, erased them forever and then they investigated me for putting that information into the system when that's exactly the job that I was supposed to be doing," Haney said. 4. West Virginia deadly floods: Obama declares major disaster - BBC

US President Barack Obama has declared a major disaster in the state of West Virginia, where the worst floods in more than a century have left at least 24 people dead. Mr Obama ordered federal aid for three of the worst affected counties following a request by Governor Earl Ray Tomblin. Residents will now receive grants for temporary housing and repairs. More than 30,000 homes and businesses are without power.

Heavy rain on Thursday turned rivers and streams into torrents, cutting off several towns. The floods are the worst in a century in some areas and hundreds of people have had to be rescued. West Virginia received a quarter of its annual rainfall in a single day, the US National Weather Service said. A storm system dumped up to 10 inches (250mm) of rain on parts of the state, causing rivers and streams to overflow.

President Obama "ordered federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected by severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides", a White House statement said. Governor Tomblin said the federal help included medical support and housing to Kanawha, Greenbrier and Nicholas counties. Officials were still assessing the damage in other areas and additional requests for aid could follow, he added. (Read more)

5. Japan Could Go Nuclear 'Virtually Overnight' Joe Biden Tells Chinese President - Forbes

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, never one for a loss of words, told Chinese President Xi Jinping that Japan has the capacity to acquire nuclear weapons "virtually overnight."

Biden made his disclosure while giving a speech at a Public Broadcasting Service program aired on Monday. Biden said he had urged Xi to exert influence on North Korea so it will abandon its missile and nuclear weapons developments. . .

Biden said that China had the single greatest ability to influence North Korea, adding that North Korea is building nuclear weapons that can strike as far away the U.S. mainland. (Read more)

6. Fallujah declared 'fully liberated' from Isis by senior Iraqi army commander - Independent UK

Fallujah has been declared "fully liberated" from Isis by the Iraqi army commander leading the operation against the jihadis. The head of the counterterrorism forces in the operation, Lt Gen Abdul-Wahad al-Saadi, said on Sunday that his troops had entered the northwestern al-Julan neighbourhood - which was the final area of the city under Isis control. Lt Gen al-Saadi said the operation, which began in late May, "is done and the city is fully liberated". (Read more)

7. Signs of Insurrection in Mosul as ISIS Executes Top Commanders - Washington Free Beacon

A synchronized attack on ISIS militants by unknown persons in the city of Mosul suggests spreading unrest in the last large city held by ISIS in Iraq.

Local sources in Mosul have told Iraqi media that ISIS terrorists were shot at by unknown men in several areas in Mosul. ISIS has deployed its fighters in the city to find the shooters. This is the largest synchronized attack since ISIS occupied the city in 2014, Daesh Daily reported Friday.

Additionally, a local activist says coalition warplanes bombed an ISIS vehicle on Masaref Street in Mosul, and bombed the location two more times after terrorists gathered there, according to the Syrian news site ARA. (Read more)

8. Russia: Turkish president 'sorry' for shoot-down of Russian military jet - Fox News

The Kremlin reported Monday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin saying "I am sorry" for the downing of a Russian jet last November, an incident Putin had called a "treacherous stab in the back."

Erdogan expressed his "sympathy and deep condolences" to the family of the killed pilot and "asked to be forgiven," Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

The letter added that Turkish authorities were conducting a probe against a Turkish citizen who allegedly shot and killed the plane's pilot as he was descending by parachute, the Kremlin added. The plane's co-pilot survived and was rescued, but a Russian marine was killed by militants during the rescue mission near the border. (Read more)

- Father God, we sense there is more to this story than meets the eye, but at face value, we do thank You for this gesture made by the Turkish government towards the nation of Russia. When any nation asks forgiveness of another for its transgressions, this can only lead to peace. Amen.

9. Russia is harassing U.S. diplomats all over Europe - Washington Post

Russian intelligence and security services have been waging a campaign of harassment and intimidation against U.S. diplomats, embassy staff and their families in Moscow and several other European capitals that has rattled ambassadors and prompted Secretary of State John F. Kerry to ask Vladimir Putin to put a stop to it.

At a recent meeting of U.S. ambassadors from Russia and Europe in Washington, U.S. ambassadors to several European countries complained that Russian intelligence officials were constantly perpetrating acts of harassment against their diplomatic staff that ranged from the weird to the downright scary. Some of the intimidation has been routine: following diplomats or their family members, showing up at their social events uninvited or paying reporters to write negative stories about them.

But many of the recent acts of intimidation by Russian security services have crossed the line into apparent criminality. . . (Read more)

10. Political chaos unleashed by Brexit pounds markets for another day - POLITICO

Markets suffered another day of Brexit-induced chaos as the British pound continued to plunge, big banks came under pressure and Treasury Secretary Jack Lew went on TV to reassure the public that, really, this isn't the Lehman Brothers-induced global meltdown all over again.

The pain was slightly less severe on Wall Street than on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down nearly 300 points in afternoon trading after falling over 600 points to close out last week. The S&P 500 dropped close to 2 percent to its lowest level since March as the overall decline in European shares since the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union reached 11 percent. Prophetic implications of Brexit


The exit of Great Britain from the European Union has left many wondering whether this accelerates or decelerates the one-world order Beast empire of the end times. One school of thought is that it delays prophecy because the revived Roman Empire predicted as the platform for the antichrist is suffering a setback. Some say if Turkey moved ahead with plans to enter the European Union, that it would then become a primary stakeholder in the revived Roman Empire theory. Turkey, however, has grown increasingly Islamic and less European in nature (It is part of Asia Minor, not Europe). But there is yet another way of looking through the prophetic lens at the toothless European Union and its break up.

Daniel 12:4 says, "But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." As we approach the end times, knowledge is increasing, especially about what the prophets were saying about the end. As we study the Old Testament prophets, map their words with those of Jesus and the Apostles, and apply history to them, the picture becomes clearer. Not one European nation is mentioned among the nations that come against Israel in the end times. Those that are mentioned are all traditional enemies of Israel going as far back as the foundations of Esau and Ishmael. Today, they are all Islamic nations.

The Islamic Caliphate/Ottoman Empire, headquartered in Turkey, was one of the longest lasting empires in history spanning 624 years from 1299 to 1923. It ruled over much of southeast Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. Its control over the Middle East was far greater than the Roman Empire. Some scholars now believe that a revised Ottoman Empire is the one prophesied by Daniel as the end-time antichrist system. Also the antichrist army of Ezekiel 38 is led from specific locations in Turkey--Magog, Meshech, Tubal. Jesus is quoted in Revelation 2:13 that Pergamos is "even where Satan's seat is...where Satan dwells." Pergamon is in Turkey.

Given the current Islamic invasion of Europe under the guise of "refugee migration," it is possible that within a short period of time, traditional Europe as a political body will be even weaker than it is today. As Islam increases in power, the possibility of an end time caliphate of traditional enemies of Israel can rise to tremendous political power as a platform for the beast empire. Britain's exit from the EU signals a setback in prophecy to those who believe a revised Roman Empire will be the one that the antichrist rides to power. Britain's withdrawal signals an acceleration of prophecy to those who see the antichrist leading a coalition, or caliphate, of Israel's traditional enemies in the Day of the Lord. Irrespective, it's on God's time.

SCOTUS decision changes nothing


The US Supreme Court decision protecting abortion clinics changes nothing. It only further demonstrates that even without one of the most conservative judges on the court, abortion remains sacrosanct by the highest court. A decision that doctors who commit abortions will be considered guilty of murder-now, that would change America. A culture that is so enamored with rights, cannot even uphold the right so prominently spoken in its founding document: "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Think of what these unelected tyrants could do with three more leftists on the court.

But there is a solution to the abortion issue: Christians. Yes. Christians. First, just because there is a law that makes murder legal, doesn't mean one has to do it. Prostitution is legal in Nevada, but Christians don't have to participate in it. A law such as this does not force participation. If Christians would hold the line on abortion, conquer this evil by showing the love of Christ, holding accountability to those we know, teaching the precepts of life and true liberty in Christ, getting outside the four walls of the Sunday clubs and shining the light of Christ, aiming at changing hearts, AND, at the same time working to make abortion illegal, perhaps there would be no one patronizing abortion clinics.

There are many, however, who call themselves Christians who believe abortion should be legal. Many pastors preach it from the pulpit, or secretly support it. Imagine the public outcry if today's so-called "civil rights" leaders would take abortion on as the issue it was intended to be-Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood wanted abortion legalized for the purpose of eradicating Black people. Yet leftist politicians, such as Hillary Clinton and the current "president" claim they fight for the rights of people of color. What about their right to life? There are so many things wrong with abortion that no nation, doctor or prospective parent who participates in abortion will escape judgment save for the blood of Christ.

As Israel in Jeremiah 2:34, America stands guilty and shameless in the sacrifice of her children, "Also on your skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but plainly upon all these things." This evil is no secret thing. A Supreme Court decision allowing abortion clinics to have lower medical standards causes these lost people to carry signs and dance in the streets, rally in public, howl to the rooftops in celebrating their man-given "right" to kill their own babies. Oh how they need Christ! There is no solution in government, nor in politicians, but only in Christ. We are his messengers, not in judgment (for that is his alone), but in love. It's thing to criticize. It's another to act.

Damning Benghazi Report Finally Released!


A damning report authored by the Republican-led House committee probing the Benghazi terror attacks faulted the Obama administration for a range of missteps before, during and after the fatal 2012 attacks - saying top administration officials huddled to craft their public response while military assets waited hours to deploy to Libya.

The report released Tuesday pointedly blamed a "rusty bureaucratic process" for the slow-moving response the night of the attack. The report said despite orders from President Obama and then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to deploy, the first military force did not do so until more than 13 hours after the attack started.

The report said one anti-terrorism security team known as the FAST unit sat waiting for three hours in Rota, Spain, as Marines changed "in and out of their uniforms four times," and even debated whether they should carry personal weapons, according to one witness. All together, the report said, "it would take nearly 18 hours" for that team to move.

The report described a web of internal debates and hold-ups, including apparent State Department guidance that "Libya must agree to any deployment," though Panetta would later say Libya approval was not necessary.

While various officials debated how to proceed, U.S. personnel were under attack at two sites in Benghazi.

In the end, U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans -- foreign service officer Sean Smith and former Navy Seals Ty Woods and Glen Doherty -- were killed in the attacks. (Fox News) Read more here.

Bathroom Opposition in Full Swing . . . States


If President Obama was hoping to make bathrooms a campaign issue, he succeeded. Just not in the way Hillary Clinton or any other liberal running for office intended. According to brand new polling from Quinnipiac, three of the most crucial swing states are speaking out on the administration's order for every public school and university to open their bathroom and locker room doors to students of both genders.

In Florida, voters oppose the transgender mandate 54-37 percent; in Ohio 55-36 percent; and in Pennsylvania 55-37 percent. Obviously, parents disagree that schools should be forced to put students in this uncomfortable situation -- or risk losing their federal funds. Like us, they see what's happening with children from Palatine, Illinois to Howell, Michigan and want no part of the president's outrageous agenda. And the string of incidents at Target stores across America isn't helping.
Since April, when the company announced its gender free-for-all in fitting rooms and restrooms, there's been a spike in peeping tom and attempted molestations at the retail giant. Western Journalism catalogued them, including a report a few weeks ago of police issuing an arrest warrant for a man allegedly filming an underage girl. In Massachusetts, a 17-year-old girl was also a victim. "[The predator] was caught in a unisex changing room at Target peeking into the next stall where a woman was changing," said a WFXT-TV report on the incident. "Other shoppers who take their kids here often are disgusted, saying it's unsettling to know this guy is still out there."
Now, not only has Target's stock tumbled over the past month and a half, but its reputation has too. When American Family Association launched its now 1.3-million member Target boycott, it warned that this would happen. "With Target boasting this policy, that's where sexual predators are going to go," AFA predicted. This is one of those times when conservatives don't enjoy being right. But let's hope the outpouring of opposition in places like Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania will finally get the attention of a far-Left blinded by extremism. (Family Research Council) Read more

- This long disputed territory, wanting independence but currently governed by Morocco, continues to struggle with large refugee camps and issues of displacement. Ask God for a resolution to this political issue. (Pray Proverbs 2:10.)

- There are very few Christian workers in this region focusing on the Saharawi people. Pray Christian workers will find many opportunities to share the Gospel and find that their labors bear much fruit this year.

- Pray for Christian workers, particularly families and individuals with a long-term commitment, to serve in the Western Sahara. (Pray Matthew 9:35-38.)

Proposal to Expand Sharia Alarms Malaysia's Christians


At St. John's Cathedral and other churches in Kuala Lumpur, a modern and lively city of around 2 million people, worshippers gather every Sunday for Masses in English and in Tamil, the main language of Malaysia's 7% minority descended from South-Asian settlers who migrated during British colonial rule, as well as in Tagalog, the language of many of the tens of thousands of Filipino migrant workers living in wealthier-neighbor Malaysia.

But despite U.S. President Barack Obama's praise for Malaysia in late 2015, during an official visit to the country, describing it as "a majority-Muslim country that represents tolerance and peace," there are signs of a growing Islamization in politics in this country of 30 million people, where around 60% of the population is Muslim. Looking at the Sun:

What's Around the Bend?


The Earth-facing side of the sun is quiet, but the farside is not. We know because on Saturday something exploded there, hurling a cloud of plasma over the sun's eastern limb. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded a movie of the high-flying debris.

Within a few days, the underlying blast site should reveal itself as the sun's rotation brings the active region over the horizon. We shall see if it is a large sunspot or something less threatening.

Until then, the visible disk of the sun remains blank and the odds of an Earth-directed explosion are low. NOAA forecasters say there is no more than a 1% chance of strong solar flares on June 26th. (Spaceweather.com)

Thousands Stretch NC Revival into 8th Week


In a state facing attack, God is on the move. The epicenter is Burlington, North Carolina, where growing crowds now meet under a huge tent. Pastor Randy Hobbs of New Hope Baptist Church, where the Burlington Revival began, told CBN News the meetings are averaging around 2,500 people each night. Earlier this month, they held a Youth Night, and more than 5,000 people showed up.

Now entering its eighth week, the revival began on Mother's Day. The church began a one-week revival, and as it neared the end, Hobbs and Evangelist C.T. Townsend sensed that God wanted to do more.

"Brother Randy got up and said, 'I don't believe God's done.' And I said, 'I don't either,'" Townsend told CBN News. "It's just amazing to be a part of this. This is something we've been praying for in our church for several years," Hobbs shared. "We had been meeting over 15 years, praying for revival to touch us locally and nationally." (CBN)Read more
