The call of God in this hour
As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and as his children, we often look unto our Lord for guidance in day-to-day living. Indeed, in Luke 5:16, we are told that Jesus often had to slip away from the crowds in order to hear His Father's voice. Should we not be doing the same????
In this hour, and during this month of intense spiritual activity, and intense activity among the nations, our Lord is calling us to follow his example: it is time to abide in His presence more deeply than ever before. There is a yearning in Father's heart to have each of us "nestle" under the shelter of His wing, as the forces of evil run their course . . .

"A New Thing:" Abiding Together via Conference Calls for 21 Days
Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 8th) and continuing for 21 days through Tuesday, September 29th, we will open our conference line for one hour each evening, inviting all who care to, to join us in a time of worshipping Him, lifting Him up, sharing verses of Scripture, and sharing prayer burdens, as we abide together in Christ. Prayers of repentance are also welcome, to prepare the way for Christ to be quickened within our spirits.
Our desire is to provide a "resting place" that we might draw aside from the cares of this world and turn to Him, together. "Draw nigh unto God, and he will draw nigh unto you." (James 4:8)

Repeating Each Day . . .
From Tuesday, Sept. 8th through Tuesday, Sept. 29th, we will feature thoughts and verses for meditation with may, or may not, be used during our time of Abiding . . . depending upon the wishes of the prayer leader for that night.
Our conference number and time of this call will be repeated each day, too, on the Brief.
Also, every night, the Lord will raise up different prayer leaders from different ministry streams who will each host this call as you call forth His praises in our time of Abiding.
