An economic collapse is imminent:
An article by Larry Tomczak
Countdown to the Economic Crash-Are You Prepared?
(Disclaimer)
Due to the controversial nature of the following commentary, I submit the following four-point appeal.
1. I am aware I'm somewhat of a "voice crying in the wilderness" with this alert. I ask the reader to not react and label me a "fear-monger." I preach and live a joyous, faith-filled lifestyle. I believe "They will not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they will be satisfied" (Ps. 37:19) while noting this is a conditional promise (see Ps. 37 in its entirety).
2. I believe because of rampant homosexuality, abortion, pornography, abandonment of Israel, widespread political corruption, obscene debt accumulation and celebration of immorality in America, judgment is at hand. The "warning" and "shaking" promised in Hebrews 12:25-29 is beginning. It will be severe and Christians are not exempt from the effects.
3. Every believer will experience the testing/fiery trial to develop and reveal the depth of our faith (1 Peter 1:6-9). Remember when God judged humanity with the flood? (Gen. 6-9). As the waters of judgment rose, the ark of safety rose higher. With what is coming, stay in peace and trust God to guide us while seizing opportunities to share the gospel.
4. What follows comes from much prayer, fasting, research, as well as counsel from respected, senior leaders. I am not marketing products, recruiting subscribers to an expensive end-times newsletter or soliciting donations to receive my "special" revelations. I'm trying to help you and your loved ones navigate successfully through what I sincerely believe will be challenging days ahead.

1. Jerusalem sees sharp increase in violent security incident - YNET News
Jerusalem has seen a sharp increase in violent security incidents, with 580 such incidents against civilians or security forces recorded over the past two months, according to new data released on Tuesday. The data, gathered by the Construction Ministry, only includes security incidents that occurred in the Old City Basin - the three neighborhoods inside the walls: The Mount of Olives, Silwan and the City of David.
The data does not include security incidents that occurred in villages and neighborhoods in East Jerusalem - including Shuafat, Beit Hanina, Isawiya, Jebel Mukabar and others - meaning that the situation in the capital is likely much worse than this data indicates. (Read more)
- Heavenly Father, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We ask that You send Your hand of protection over that city. Please send legions of angels to the borders to protect all your children from the hands of the enemy. We pray that all of our brothers and sisters would come to know Messiah and have revelation of Your Will. In the name of Yeshua, amen.
2. Terror in Jerusalem: Palestinian man attacks Border Policeman with axe - Jerusalem Post
An axe-wielding Palestinian man approached a group of Border Police officers near Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City on Wednesday, yelling and attacking the security forces.
While the officers worked to neutralize the suspect, he managed to stab one Border Police officer and lightly wound him in the leg. (Read more)
- Abba, we ask that You have mercy on those who are causing violence to Your children, even as we cry out for justice. We pray that Your Shalom Peace would flood the atmosphere in Jerusalem and all of Israel. We pray that both Palestinians and Israelis would forget any anger or plans to cause harm to others. We pray that they would feel and be overcome by Your love. In the name of Yeshua, amen.
3. Vatican asks to be removed from Palestinian flag initiative at United Nations - Jerusalem Post
UNITED NATIONS - The Vatican on Tuesday asked the Palestinian UN mission to remove all references to it from a draft resolution the Palestinians have prepared for the General Assembly calling for the flags of Palestine and the Holy See to fly at the UN.
The Palestinian draft resolution, which was seen by Reuters, says that the flags of non-member observer states "shall be raised at the United Nations Headquarters and Offices following the flags of the member states of the United Nations."
The draft resolution specifically refers to both the Vatican and the State of Palestine, both of which are non-member observer states at the United Nations. (Read more)
4. Hundreds flee clashes in Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon - YNET News
Intense clashes persisted Tuesday in the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon between Islamists and members of the Palestinian Fatah movement, killing three people and forcing hundreds to flee, Palestinian security officials said.
The fighting, which began Saturday in the Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp near the southern port city of Sidon, followed a failed assassination attempt targeting a Fatah party official. Fatah is the party of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Three people were already killed in the clashes on Saturday.
Ashraf Dabbour, Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon, told Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen TV Tuesday that a cease-fire agreement was concluded late Monday. But clashes erupted again Tuesday. Dabbour said Islamist militants are seeking to seize control of the camp. "What is going on in the camp is part of what is happening in the region," Dabbour said, in reference to the rising powers of Islamic militant groups in neighboring Syria and the region. (Read more)

6. UAE, Egypt and Jordan leaders on Russia visit - English AlArabiya
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi on Wednesday called for a coalition to combat terrorism in the Middle East. Opening a meeting with Putin in Moscow, Sisi said "the Egyptian people" are hoping for broader ties with Russia in all areas, particularly in fighting terrorism in the Middle East.
Putin told reporters after the talks that regional powers should join their efforts to combat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group. "(We) have underscored the vital importance of setting a counter-terrorism front to include key international players of the region including Syria," he said. (Read more)
7. Iranians Violent at Reopening of British Embassy - United with Israel
Hoping to expand ties with Iran in the wake of the nuclear deal, the UK reopened its embassy in Tehran. However, they were met with local violent resistance.
The British were quick to warm their diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic following the signing of the nuclear agreement with the P5+1 Powers.
UK Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond flew to Tehran on Sunday to participate in the reopening of the British embassy in the Iranian capital, which was shut down four years ago, following violent protests by the Iranians.
"Maintaining dialogue even under the most difficult conditions is crucially important," Hammond said during a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. "So reopening the embassy in Tehran and the Iranian embassy in London is not just an important symbol. It's an important practical channel for being able to engage on the very many issues that are of concern and the very many issues that we have shared interests." (Read more)

1. Flood-Ravaged Christians in Kasur, Pakistan "Desperate" for Clean Water and Food - Breaking Christian News
The British Pakistani Christian Association's Naveed Aziz, its Pakistan officer, visited Kasur to meet with victims of the massive deluge in Pakistan earlier this month. According to a news release from the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA), Christians living there have received no help from the Government of Pakistan or any charities.
They have been affected by the Pakistan floods every year since 2010, and yet no disaster recovery plan or infrastructure has been put in place to enhance their safety or security.
Government agencies and Muslim charities have set up tents and are providing clean water, food and medical aid to these regions. That can't be said for the Christians of Kasur.

2. Terrorist Attack on Joseph's Tomb in Ancient Shechem Thwarted - CBN
A joint operation by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the IDF netted a small but potentially lethal terror cell planning to attack Jewish worshippers at Joseph's Tomb in Nablus (biblical Shechem). The tomb is the traditional place where the Bible says the children of Israel buried Joseph's bones, which they carried from Egypt (Joshua 24:32).
Palestinian cell members planned to use explosives and automatic rifles to attack whoever was unfortunate enough to be at the site when they carried out the plan.
The Shin Bet identified the four members, all residents of P.A.-controlled cities in Samaria (West Bank), and their handler, Mohammed Darwish, a senior Islamic Jihad member who directed operations from the Gaza Strip. Darwish was responsible for recruiting and arming the cell and directing the assault against Jews visiting the historical site.

3. 200 retired US generals lobby Congress to reject Iran deal - Times of Israel
Nearly 200 retired US generals, admirals and former political officials have come out strongly against the Iran nuclear accord, and have called upon Congress to sink the agreement on the grounds that it will "enable Iran to become far more dangerous."
Among the signatories are top former career officers from every branch of the US military, as well as officials who have served in the White House, under both Democratic and Republican administrations, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.
"The agreement will enable Iran to become far more dangerous, render the Mideast still more unstable and introduce new threats to American interests as well as our allies," the letter, which was addressed to Republican and Democratic senators and congressmen, stated.

- Father, we rejoice that these men are acting against the Iran deal. We pray that their actions will not be in vain, and that Congress will ultimately reject it strongly enough to override the President's veto. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

4. Nearly 900 U.S. Rabbis Urge Congress to Reject Iran Deal- Arutz Sheva
Nearly 900 American rabbis have signed a petition urging the US Congress to reject the recently-signed nuclear deal with Iran.
The online petition hopes to garner 1,000 signatures by September 7 - the date Congress is set to vote on the agreement. So far 887 "ordained rabbis" from various denominations have signed.
A majority vote against is almost inevitable given the Republican majority in both houses, but so too is a presidential veto, which Barack Obama has clearly said he will use in the event the deal is voted down.
The challenge then for opponents of the deal is to gain a two-thirds majority in both houses of congress to overturn the veto - an achievement that is looking increasingly unlikely as Democratic legislators have mostly rallied behind the president.

- Lord, we are grateful that these U.S. Rabbis are working to counter the effect of the liberal ones. We pray that more and more will come on board to reject the Iran deal. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

5. Gunman who killed 2 former colleagues had long history of erratic workplace behavior - Fox News
The disgruntled former television reporter who murdered two of his former colleagues during a live interview Wednesday morning had a long history of erratic behavior at various workplaces, including acting aggressively toward co-workers and claiming racism was behind uncomplimentary evaluations.
Vester Lee Flanagan, 41, killed himself while fleeing from police in northern Virginia hours after he fatally shot WDBJ reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27. A third victim of Flanagan, Vicki Gardner, was in stable condition early Thursday after undergoing surgery.

6. IRS Getting Pressured To Crack Down On Televangelists Following John Oliver's Segment - Washington/CBSLocal
The IRS is getting pressured to begin cracking down on televangelists following a John Oliver segment on HBO's "Last Week Tonight." Oliver blasted televangelists this past Sunday for what he called "seed faith," where they tell donors they will reap the rewards by giving money to them.
"They preach something called the prosperity gospel which argues that wealth is a sign of God's favor and donations will result in wealth coming back to you. That idea sometimes takes the form of seed faith - the notion that donations are seeds that you will one day get to harvest," Oliver said in the segment. He continued, "The argument is 'sow your money into the ground, you will reap returns multiple times over,' except as an investment you'd be better off burying your money in the actual ground because at least that way there's a chance your dog may dig it up and give it back to you one day."
People have donated millions to televangelists through the "prosperity gospel," believing by giving money, God will help them.

- Lord, if some of the televangelists are doing things outside Your will, we ask for You to touch their hearts and lives with the power of Your Spirit. Let greed not be their bottom line. But we also ask that You protect those who are called by Your Name from undue scrutiny by the government. If something is against the law we pray that You will convict Your church of sin, righteousness, and judgment as we grow ever closer to Your Return. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
-"The former preach Christ from selfish ambition. . . Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes and will rejoice." (Philippians 1:16,18)

Of race, terror, and heart's intent
The look of terror in the eyes of 24 year old TV reporter Alison Parker tenths of a second before being gunned down by a man who wanted to start a race war should be enough for anyone with a heart to say "No More" to this kind of hatred. The gunman, Vester Lee Flanagan II, 41, was an embittered man who was fired from the television station where Parker and her cameraman Adam Ward, 27, worked. Ward was also executed by Flanagan. Flanagan wrote in a suicide manifesto that he killed the victims as revenge for the Charlestown church shootings, he wanted a race war, and that he was about to explode because he faced racial and sexual discrimination as a black and gay man.
Flanagan was fired from two TV stations, both after having made numerous complaints about racism among co-workers and station management. All the allegations were deemed to be unfounded, according to sources involved. The UK Daily Mail reports that in his suicide note, Flanagan wrote: "'Yes, it will sound like I am angry...I am. And I have every right to be...'The church shooting was the tipping point...but my anger has been building steadily...I've been a human powder keg for a while...just waiting to go BOOM!!!!'" He also confesses to killing his cats, blaming the news station for the animals' deaths. And he was censured for reporting from a voting booth wearing a campaign sticker for the "president."
There is a huge difference in this crime compared with Travon Martin, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, and Freddie Gray. There is clear evidence that the assassination of Parker and Ward was racially motivated--the shooter admitted such. The other cases were not or have not been proven to be clearly racially motivated, but people perceived them as such. The "president," Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the New Black Panthers, the Nation of Islam and those with ties to the Communist Party USA have all condemned the Martin, Brown and Gray cases as race-related. As of the writing of this Daily Jot, neither the "president," nor Jackson, nor Sharpton, have uttered one public word about Flanagan and his racially motivated executions--None of the usual talk of banning guns; no expression of sympathy to the families.
The racially motivated shootings at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church were condemned by a huge community of blacks and whites. There was no doubt that Caucasians stood together with their Black brethren in mourning this deplorable act. Today, silence from those who normally speak out when racism is perceived. Does this expose their true hearts? People, in God's eyes we are all part of the human race. Galatians 3:29 says, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus." The condemnation of hatred cannot be one sided otherwise there is no ground for coming together to solve the problem. There is no trust. The "president" said he would bring people together, yet look at what we have. Let us do our part as disciples of Christ.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Archeologists Discover A 4000 Year Old Archeological Find Linking Allah
To Lucifer And The "Harlot Religion"
4000 years old is as close as we can get to connecting how old is "Allah" as deity, his relation to the great rebellion, sex, war - everything.
Amid excavations at four different ancient sites in the Central Anatolian province of Yozgat in the Mound at the Büyük Tak village in Turkey there laid a cuneiform tablet unearthed after laying there for 4000 years (2,000 B.C.) The cuneiform tablet in the Sorgun district of Yozgat shows symbols of Ishtar, known as the Hittite goddess of love, war, fertility and sexuality. Ishtar or "the queen of harlots" goddess was found mentioned more clearly in this cuneiform than those on any other unearthed tablets.
Linking Ishtar to other archaeologic relics, also written in the same cuneiform is the Epic of Atrahasis cuneiform dating just as far back in ancient history (1700-1800 B.C.), which reveal that this ancient deity known as Ishtar and the snake beast god known as Ishtaran another name for "Allah" who is literally mentioned in the epic by name and was a transvestite (dual male and female nature).
The The Epic of Atrahasis is the Mesopotamian account of the Great Flood, which was a corruption of the biblical account in Genesis where Satan rebelled against Yahweh. The amazing epic translated by archeologists who did not coverup the name "Allah" at the beginning of the epic where all of the gods are laboring in slavery for the head deity, Enlil, and then one rebellious deity named "Allah" then revolts against Enlil where Enlil crushes the rebellion and then defeats Allah who was also called Tammuz in Sumerian mythology. Yet this defeat of the rebellion caused by this god of war "Allah" is not considered evil, but his loss is lamented over. . .

- Abba Father, we lift up praise for these archeological findings which confirm the connections between Islam's 'god' Allah and numerous versions of related ancient deities, along with their common attachment to our spiritual 'enemy' satan. Thank You, Father, that this clearly shows how Islam is NOT worshipping You but is caught up into an ancient rebellion against You.
We pray that what is explained here will awaken Your remnant to understand and verbalize that we are celebrating in the spring time the feast of Passover culminating in 'Resurrection Sunday' when Jesus the Christ arose, and we are not celebrating "Easter," which is named after the pagan goddess Ishtar. Awaken all of us fully, Father. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus, Amen and Amen!!!
- "And the God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen." (Romans 16:20)

The Tragedy in Roanoke:
Perspective for prayer for workplace violence
The tragic events on live TV in Virginia today prompt us to pray for the Holy Sprit Comforter to cover all of those traumatized by this horrific event. Deep grief is in order, including how tragic that the shooter did not choose a Godly way to right what he perceived to be the wrong he experienced as an employee. Had he known Jesus Christ he could have used His wisdom and truths; lives would have been spared.
After grief has its rightful place, it may be instructive to realize that there are many aggrieved ex-employees throughout our communities . . . and in today's fragile economy their numbers can be expected to grow. For men especially, for those who don't yet know Christ, their work often defines themselves. A loss of work means they are stripped of value, lost in a heartless world.
The good news is that the potential thus exists for each of us to reach out in love when we hear of a person terminated from work. Many of our neighbors may be in this category soon. Let us reach out in our neighborhoods as ambassadors with the love and peace of Christ to those facing the loss of employment. God knows how many lives may be saved.
"Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad." (Proverbs 12:25)

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:
IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL
"Praise the Lord, O my soul." (Psalm 146:1)
Lyrics
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Refrain
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
Refrain
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
Refrain
For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.
Refrain
But, Lord, 'tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh trump of the angel! Oh voice of the Lord!
Blessèd hope, blessèd rest of my soul!
Refrain
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
Refrain
Melody
Please go here and sing this classic hymn along with Amy Grant.
About the Author:
Words: Horatio G. Spafford, 1873
Music: Philip P. Bliss, 1876
The tune is named after the ship on which Spafford's children perished, the S.S. Ville de Havre. Ironically, Bliss himself died in a tragic train wreck shortly after writing this music.
About the Hymn:
This hymn was written after two major traumas in Spafford's life. The first was the great Chicago Fire of October 1871, which ruined him financially (he had been a wealthy businessman). Shortly after, while crossing the Atlantic, all four of Spafford's daughters died in a collision with another ship. Spafford's wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, "Saved alone." Several weeks later, as Spafford's own ship passed near the spot where his daughters died, the Holy Spirit inspired these words. They speak to the eternal hope that all believers have, no matter what pain and grief befall them on earth.

Hiker Burned, Dog Dies After Leaping Into Idaho Hot Spring
SALMON, Idaho ¡X A man hiking through a national forest in Idaho suffered severe burns after his two dogs plunged into a hot spring and he jumped into the scalding water to rescue them, managing to save just one of his pets, U.S. Forest Service officials said on Tuesday.
The freak accident occurred last week in the Panther Creek Hot Springs, a popular spot in the sprawling Salmon-Challis National Forest, about 50 miles northwest of the tourist town of Salmon in east-central Idaho.
Temperatures at Panther Creek, usually mild enough for human bathing, had apparently grown dangerously high, possibly from drought conditions that may have curtailed cool water flows that normally mix with the springs' geothermally heated groundwater, forest spokeswoman Amy Baumer said.
Panther Creek draws dozens of visitors annually, and forest managers were unaware of a similar incident ever occurring in the 107-year history of the Salmon-Challis, which spans 4.3 million acres (1.7 million hectares) and numerous hot springs, said Ken Gebhardt, a district ranger.
"The forest is very interested in doing what it can to better inform the public about this accident in hopes of preventing another tragedy," he said.
Hot springs, the subject of travel guides and copious online commentary by outdoor enthusiasts, are widely dispersed across the Northern Rockies and other regions where volcanic activity and geothermal features are intertwined. (NBC News) Read more

Israeli doctors restore sight to 90 Kyrgyzstanis in marathon 'Eye from Zion' initiative
Volunteer delegation of Israeli medical professionals travel to Kyrgyzstan to treat patients, many of them blind for many years * "Many remain blind only because the doctors in their country don't have the means to treat them," says delegation director.
A group of doctors from Israel restored the eyesight of 90 adults and children in Kyrgyzstan earlier this month in an ambitious endeavor undertaken by the Eye from Zion organization.
Eye from Zion is a volunteer Israeli-Jewish group established to provide medical treatment to underprivileged populations around the world. The organization sends delegations of experienced medical professionals and advanced equipment to places where they are needed most. The Eye from Zion delegations perform surgeries together with local medical teams and instruct local doctors on modern medical techniques.
Many of the patients treated this month in Kyrgyzstan had been blind for years.
