1. PA accuses Israel of carrying out 'field executions' on Palestinian youth - Jerusalem Post

The Palestinian Authority on Sunday accused Israel of carrying out "field executions" of Palestinian youths and said it would file charges with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The accusation came following Saturday's incident near Nablus, where a Palestinian assailant was shot to death after stabbing an IDF soldier. The attacker was identified as Rafik Kamel al-Taj, 18.

The PA Foreign Ministry claimed that al-Taj was "executed" and left to bleed to death. It also claimed that the IDF prevented medical teams from saving his life. (Read more)

2. Red Cross offering training to Hamas on International Law - Jerusalem Post

The International Committee of the Red Cross have begun training courses for Hamas militants last month in International Law and humanitarian principles, the New York Times reported on Sunday. The sessions, which began last month, discussed how the International Criminal Court dictates wartime conduct and how it decides what constitutes war crimes. The challenge for those organizing the lessons, however, was convincing members of Hamas' armed Kassam Brigades, that international law and Islamic law could work hand in hand, according to the report. 3. Israel Army Preparing for Possible Limited Ground Invasion of Syria (VIDEO) - Algemeiner

The Israel Defense Forces is preparing for the possibility of a limited ground incursion into Syria in the case of massive rocket fire from the country falling on Israeli territory, Israel's Channel 2 reported on Sunday.

The IDF carried out a large division-scale exercise this past week in the Golan Heights which included the scenario, according to the report. The preparations are being made in response to the rise in power of radical Islamists in Syria and an understanding that the current calm on Israel's northern front is more fluid than it appears to be and could change at any moment. 4. UN Security Council Backs New Syria Peace Plan - Israel National News

The United Nations Security Council on Monday backed a new push for peace talks in Syria in a measure adopted by Damascus ally Russia and the other 14 member states, AFP reports. It was the first time in two years that the council agreed a political statement on Syria and French Deputy Ambassador Alexis Lamek hailed the newfound unity as "historic."

Venezuela, which has friendly relations with Syria, disassociated itself from parts of the statement, which called for a political transition to end the four-year war. The South American country last week delayed the vote on the resolution. Caracas envoy Rafael Ramirez said the council was setting "a very dangerous precedent" by supporting a plan that he said violated Syria's right to self-determination, according to AFP.

The 16-point statement drafted by France had been under negotiation since UN envoy Staffan de Mistura presented his new approach for peace talks to the council last month. (Read more)

5. Israeli Think Tank Says Iranian Desire to Destroy Jewish State is Part of Regime's 'Founding Vision' - Algemeiner

Israeli think tank, the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, published a report on Sunday that extensively details Iran's threats to destroy Israel.

In the report, the author, Lt. Col. (ret.) Michael Segall, calls Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei the "chief agitator for the extermination of Israel." He says this position is a continuation of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini's "founding vision" that "the eradication of Zionism is an inevitable precondition for redeeming contemporary Islam." 6. IDF: Iran behind all recent attacks in Golan region - Israel Hayom

"All of the attacks in the Golan Heights sector since December 2013 have been carried out with Iranian direction," a senior IDF Northern Command officer told reporters on Sunday.

According to the officer, several hundred Hezbollah operatives are currently active on the Syrian side of the border in the Golan Heights. The officer also said Iran was responsible for the planting of an explosive device on the Israel-Syria border in April.

Terrorist operatives in the border area have received "clear guidance" from Iran to carry out attacks, the officer said. One terrorist cell operating in the area is led by Samir Kuntar, the Lebanese Druze terrorist who was released from Israeli prison in 2008 as part of a swap deal with Hezbollah. Kuntar has recruited local Syrians to join the ranks of his cell. (Read more)

7. Shocking New Iranian Video Imagines Islamic Takeover of Jerusalem, Destruction of Israel (VIDEO) - Algemeiner

A newly revealed video produced under the auspices of the Iranian regime in early August threatens and visualizes the destruction of Israel at the hands of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iranian Middle East proxies, The Investigative Project on Terrorism reported on Monday.

The animated video, produced by the Islamic Revolution Design House, depicts soldiers preparing for battle. One dons the IRGC insignia on his left arm, another the emblem of the Iran-backed Iraqi Shia Badr Organization. Yet a third dons a headband bearing the Lebanese Hezbollah logo, and a fourth is seen clad in Hamas' characteristic balaclava and the Qassam Brigades green headband.

Each brandishes a weapon, a helmet and a keffiyeh. They are shown poised on a hill overlooking the Israeli capital of Jerusalem, prepared for battle. (Read more)

8. Temperatures rise as Israel experiences 3rd heat wave of the year - Israel National News

The intense heat wave that has engulfed Israel over the past few weeks refused to relent on Sunday, as 44 degrees Celsius were noted in Sde Eliyahu, a religious kibbutz in northern Israel, while in Kibbutz Gilgal in the Jordan Valley, meteorologist measured 43 degrees Celsius in the shade. When the banking crisis crippled global markets seven years ago, central bankers stepped in as lenders of last resort. Profligate private-sector loans were moved on to the public-sector balance sheet and vast money-printing gave the global economy room to heal. Time is now rapidly running out. From China to Brazil, the central banks have lost control and at the same time the global economy is grinding to a halt. It is only a matter of time before stock markets collapse under the weight of their lofty expectations and record valuations. The FTSE 100 has now erased its gains for the year, but there are signs things could get a whole lot worse. (Read more)

2. Obama Can Do Iran Nuclear Deal Even If Congress Disapproves - ABC News

The September vote on the Iran nuclear deal is billed as a titanic standoff between President Barack Obama and Congress. Yet even if lawmakers reject the agreement, it's not game-over for the White House. A congressional vote of disapproval would not prevent Obama from acting on his own to start putting the accord in place. While he probably would take some heavy criticism, this course would let him add the foreign policy breakthrough to his second-term list of accomplishments.

Obama doesn't need a congressional OK to give Iran most of the billions of dollars in relief from economic sanctions that it would get under the agreement, as long as Tehran honors its commitments to curb its nuclear program - at least for now.

"A resolution to disapprove the Iran agreement may have substantial political reverberations, but limited practical impact," says Robert Satloff, executive director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. 3. Obama Administration Warns Beijing About Covert Agents Operating in U.S. - New York Times

The Obama administration has delivered a warning to Beijing about the presence of Chinese government agents operating secretly in the United States to pressure prominent expatriates - some wanted in China on charges of corruption - to return home immediately, according to American officials.

The American officials said that Chinese law enforcement agents covertly in this country are part of Beijing's global campaign to hunt down and repatriate Chinese fugitives and, in some cases, recover allegedly ill-gotten gains.

The Chinese government has officially named the effort Operation Fox Hunt.

The American warning, which was delivered to Chinese officials in recent weeks and demanded a halt to the activities, reflects escalating anger in Washington about intimidation tactics used by the agents. And it comes at a time of growing tension between Washington and Beijing on a number of issues: from the computer theft of millions of government personnel files that American officials suspect was directed by China, to China's crackdown on civil liberties, to the devaluation of its currency. 4. Clinton emails should also be reviewed by inspector general: lawmaker - Reuters

Hillary Clinton's private email server should be examined by the U.S. intelligence watchdog after the FBI finishes reviewing any classified information on it, a Republican lawmaker said on Sunday.

Trey Gowdy, chair of a U.S. House of Representatives committee investigating the killing of four Americans at a U.S. diplomatic building in Benghazi, said there should also be a probe into whether Clinton has handed over all her emails.

"When the bureau is through with the server, I hope they turn that server over to the Inspector General so they can determine whether or not the record is full and complete," Gowdy told "Fox News Sunday." (Read more)
- Father, we ask that the full truth of this server and these emails would come forth, including information from backup servers, parent servers of virtual servers, and anywhere else forensic analysis of this email traffic would yield forth more information about these actions by the former Secretary of State. Father, we ask that You would remove all pretense and political motivations behind or in front of these investigations that would cast a shadow on the truth that is being revealed about these actions. May the full truth be known, and actions in accordance with justice prevail.

Father, to the extent that national security was compromised in these actions, even beyond the communications themselves, we ask that You would be our defender and our diplomat. Continue to be our favor in the eyes of the world, and may You do a mighty work in us and in our land to make us stand as You would have us to stand.

5. Media Blackout: ABC, NBC, CBS Ignore Undercover Videos Exposing Planned Parenthood's Sell of Aborted Babies' Body Parts - Christian Post

The big three media networks, ABC, NBC and CBS, have spent a minuscule amount of time in their broadcasts reporting on the six undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood staff discussing ways in which they can profit off the harvesting and sell of aborted babies' body parts.

According to the Media Research Center, the three networks combind only spent 1 minute and 13 seconds of airtime playing the audio from Center for Medical Progress' three-year investigation into the practices of the nation's largest abortion provider.

This means that since the release of the first video in July, "ABC, NBC and CBS had 243 hours and 30 minutes [of airtime to fill for their] morning and evening news shows," but allocated only 0.16 percent of that time airing audio and video from the undercover investigative footage, according to the Media Research Center. - Father, we've seen this situation before with Kermit Gosnell. We know You have, too, and we know that You knew about this even before there were videos. We know that his breaks Your Heart, and we know that Your longsuffering mercy does not stand by forever. We ask, Father, that there would be a thundering forth of Your Truth throughout the land. May there be no mistaking that there is a God in America who will conquer this evil, and that You would have us all to turn from this sin, not to turn away from it happening, but to turn it away from happening any more.

Lord God, we ask that everyone from pastors to presidential candidates, parishioners and citizens would cry forth to You, and to cry out against this evil. Holy God, purge this evil from our midst. May eternal and earthly life in Jesus Christ be to evildoers a stumbling block, Father. We ask that even reporters who would seek to have it both ways be disgusted by the videos. May they have no choice but to cover thoroughly and dominantly this question of funding until this evil is purged from our midst. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

6. Arkansas and Utah defund Planned Parenthood over aborted baby parts scandal - LifeSite News

\A total of five states have now defunded Planned Parenthood following the release of scandalous videos incriminating the abortion provider. Two more states have defunded Planned Parenthood in light of videos showing the organization is engaged in the illegal sale of body parts from aborted babies.

On Friday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert said that "allegations against Planned Parenthood are deeply troubling," and ordered his state's Department of Health to stop sending federal funds to Planned Parenthood.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson likewise said his state was ending Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood. "It is apparent that after the recent revelations on the actions of Planned Parenthood, that this organization does not represent the values of the people of our state and Arkansas is better served by terminating any and all existing contracts with them," Hutchinson said in a statement. 7. HRC's 'Gender Inclusive Classrooms' Guide: Say 'Friends' or 'Students' Instead of Girls and Boys - CNSNews.com

To help "create a classroom where students aren't limited based on gender stereotypes," teachers should address classes using words like "friends or "students" rather than girls and boys, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) advises in a new back-to-school guide. The first tip suggested by the HRC's Welcoming Schools Initiative is for teachers to avoid using gender to "divide and address students." The guide claims that separating students for activities according to gender "can leave some students feeling out-of-place, making them distracted or isolated and not able to focus on learning." 8. Youtube Bans Proof Of Black-On-White Violence - WND

Apparently, reporting on crime is a crime. Colin Flaherty, who chronicles racially motivated violence by blacks against whites, awoke Thursday to find YouTube had terminated his account.

. . . Flaherty suspects he knows what is going on. "YouTube sent me an email the other day saying it was putting me on notice for violating its Terms of Service, meaning I would not be allowed to post new videos for two weeks," Flaherty told WND. "The reason: I posted a private video from a parent of a child who filmed an episode of black mob violence against a white child. The local news blurred it. And I presented the original. YouTube did not like that." He said in his version of the video that "anyone who blurred this story is guilty of child abuse because they are aiding and abetting this violence."

9. 340 US rabbis sign letter urging Congress to support Iran deal - Times of Israel

We back this 'historic accord,' left-leaning clerics say, and warn Israel could be isolated if agreement is rejected. Over 300 rabbis have signed a letter in support of the Iran nuclear accord. "As rabbis, we support the agreement," the letter begins. Signed by 340 rabbis from "all streams of Judaism," many of them identified with progressive causes, the letter was publicized Monday by the left-wing Zionist group Ameinu, which says it promotes "a progressive Israel and a just America." 10. American Christians Uniting with Israel against Iran - Breaking Israel News

A massive lobbying campaign is building a groundswell of support across the United States to urge Congress to kill the nuclear deal recently signed with Iran. The campaign warns that the Islamic Republic, which is the largest funder of global terrorism, cannot be trusted, and that it will attempt to make good on its promise to bring death and destruction to both Israel and the United States.

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), the world's largest organization of Christians who support Israel and the Jewish people, is behind a campaign called "No Nukes for the Mullahs." The campaign encourages members of the organization to contact their senators and representatives in Congress and indicate their disapproval for the Iran deal. "No Nukes for the Mullahs" outlines six main reasons as to why the deal is bad and dangerous to both Israel and the US. (Read more)

Moral Bankruptcy and our role

It often has been said that you cannot legislate morality. Probably right. You can't force someone to be moral. In fact, this is exactly what we see happening with Islam--it forces a standard of morality upon its people using fear and control. And if you don't believe the way Islam wants, or submit to it, the system brings bodily harm or death upon you. How anyone can think this is an honorable and peaceful quality is beyond good sense. The approach of the one true God is voluntary. One accepts his Son and becomes transformed into a new person, voluntarily living by the precepts of what is right and moral and working out the gift of salvation. One way results in death; the other in life more abundantly. But what of morality?

While we cannot force someone to be moral, we can lead by example. Problem is, our example has been sitting on the bench while immorality is flaunting its example in almost every facet of the game of life. Often when the opportunity to suggest morality presents itself, it is done the wrong way--by preaching to and judging those who are immoral. This results in resentment and leads to even more immorality. Even in discussions that are sincere and honest, people will judge your good intent from the intents of their own hearts, which casts you in an immoral light. Hence, you believe homosexuality is sin, and the person listening to you says you are a bigot. They are judging you from their own heart.

The depth of immorality in our own society has become so deep that it is accepted practice. How many folks do you know who have not only lived together before they were married, but have children before they are married? This is far beyond the boundaries of social morals applied less than 50 years ago. It has crept into society as an accepted norm. How did this happen? This is just one example. A harsher one is the number of babies in the womb who have been legally murdered since 1973--over 60 million in this nation alone. Accepted practice. One can talk about abortion and its horrible impact of death and destruction, guilt and depression, but once again, you will be judged from another heart's intent.

Immorality has become so ingrained in our daily lives that many participate in it or even sanction it without realizing what they are doing, or for fear of alienating a friend or loved one. This "immorality creep" is a bane to our national existence and a threat to our national security. It is well out of control. But there is a solution. It's not in preaching or lecturing, although there is a time for that. It is in living out your relationship with the Lord. It is by example and by relationship. Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, "You are the light of the world," and in verse 16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." You have the light others need. Keep it shining!

Family Research Council Joins National #PPSellsBabyParts Protest

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- On Saturday, August 22, thousands of pro-life Americans in over 280 cities will be protesting Planned Parenthood's harvesting and selling of aborted baby parts. Family Research Council is one of over fifty co-sponsors of the nationwide protest. Sponsors of the protest include Created Equal, Pro-Life Action League, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, and 40 Days for Life.

Arina Grossu, Family Research Council's Director of the Center for Human Dignity, gave the following comments in regard to the rallies:
"If you are sickened, and saddened that Planned Parenthood exploits women and harvests and sells their babies' organs, please join a local protest at your nearest Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is an organization that pretends to care for women's health but in fact, is deceptive and harmful to women and our communities. There are plenty of women's health organizations that do more for women than Planned Parenthood has ever done, and those are the health centers we want to see supported in our communities.
"We must to stand against the scandal-plagued Planned Parenthood on behalf of women and children who have been hurt by them and hold them accountable for all of the horrific practices they do behind closed doors. Each of us can stand up against the horrific human rights abuses going on in our midst. When Congress returns in September, they must redirect taxpayer money from Planned Parenthood to the thousands of health care centers that don't perform abortions and are not under federal and state investigation," concluded Grossu.

We ask that You would raise up voices of freedom and put them in positions whereby they can open more doors to freely proclaim Your Word throughout China. Father, may China become a light to the world of You, Your Word, and what Your freedom can look like to the world. We thank You that You have many people in their cities, Father, and we ask You to add thousands to their number daily. Father, foreign policy is ultimately about a nation being open to the Gospel, and we ask that this would be abundantly true of both the United States of America and China. We offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

(Raleigh, NC) - Anne Graham Lotz's husband is in intensive care at a hospital in North Carolina after he was found unresponsive in their home's swimming pool Monday afternoon.

It's not yet clear what caused Danny Lotz's pool accident, but a family friend confirms he's been battling diabetic seizures for the past few years.

A statement on her Facebook page says ". . . there are no answers yet as to the outcome. . . but the family is standing firm in faith, trusting Jesus."

Danny is the son-in-law of evangelist Billy Graham. He and Anne have been married for nearly 50 years and have three children together. (CBN) Read more.

Father God, we thank You for the ministry of Anne Graham Lotz, and we lift up this need to You today before Your Throne of Grace. Lord God, we thank You that You are watching over her husband, Danny, as he rests in the hospital tonight. We join our prayers with thousands of others for a full recovery from this episode. We ask that You grant Your wisdom to the medical team that is ministering to Him, and we ask Your peace to rest upon his household, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen and amen.

Quake hits on Hayward Fault, which is due for major temblor
PIEDMONT, Calif. (KGO) --

The 4.0 magnitude earthquake that rattled the Bay Area on Monday was a rude awakening for both people and pets and is yet another reminder that the Hayward Fault is long overdue for a major quake. There were several aftershocks following the temblor, which was centered in Oakland's Upper Rockridge neighborhood near Holy Names High School.

The quake was not strong enough to cause damage, but it certainly enough to bring the morning routine to a brief standstill. BART reported major delays in the morning while crews checked the tracks. No damage was reported. . . "So it is close to a part of the fault that we do consider to be a possible source of a much larger earthquake," said UC Berkeley seismologist Roland Bergmann, Ph.D.

At the UC Berkeley Seismological Laboratory, Dr. Bergmann measured not only the main shock, but also eight aftershocks ranging between 1.4 and 2.4. All were on the Hayward Fault, which is statistically 10 years overdue for a 7.0. The next will likely to do immense damage in a densely populated Bay Area. (Read more)

New College Class being Taught by Man Who Can Recite the Entire Bible. . . From Memory

(Redding, CA)-His name is Tom Meyer, and he's known for his incredible ability to memorize whole books of the Bible and recite them.

Now he's teaching others his technique through a class at Shasta Bible College, according to a report in the Christian Post (CP).

Meyer says, "The students are graded on their accuracy of memorizing a smaller book in one semester and presenting that book dramatically, from memory, in their local church or in our chapel service."

The course is being limited to just 12 students, said the CP report, and it is slated to begin August 25th.

"Whether they memorize by reading aloud, hearing, or writing, the necessity to meditate on the text will establish the Word in their heart and hopefully provide them with a greater walk with God," explained Meyer.
