1. Feinstein: Hillary Clinton 'Needs to Step Up' and Explain Her Use of Private Email - CNSNews.com
Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's lack of explanation as to why she used a private, nongovernment email account when she was the country's top diplomat will hurt her unless she comes forward with more details, says California Sen. Dianne Feinstein. She was the first major Democrat to urge Clinton to fully explain her actions.
The former first lady and New York senator "needs to step up and come out and state exactly what the situation is," Feinstein said. "From this point on, the silence is going to hurt her." (Read more)
- Oh, Lord, we put ourselves and our country in Your hands to do Your awesome work of bringing the truth to light. We ask that You would work in this woman's life to bring to the forefront all things that are secret that should be freely available to the public and to Congress. Thank You for the strong stand of this member of Mrs. Clinton's own party who is standing for what is right. We pray that more will join a call for doing what is right.
- "The way of a guilty man is perverse, but as for the pure, his work is right." (Proverbs 21:8)
2. Issa: Clinton could face criminal charges - The Hill
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) on Sunday suggested that Hillary Clinton could face criminal charges if she knowingly withholds emails from congressional investigators. Appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," Issa noted that "voluntary cooperation does not guarantee that it's a crime not to deliver all" requested emails. "A subpoena, which Trey Gowdy issued, is so that in fact it will be a crime if she knowingly withholds documents pursuant to subpoena," Issa said. (Read more)
- Father, we trust You to bring to light any wrongdoing on behalf of Hillary Clinton. We pray You fill our government with men and women of integrity. In Jesus Name.
- " . . . and you may be sure that your sin will find you out." (Numbers 32:23)
3. ATF shelves proposed bullet ban - The Hill
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is pulling back a controversial proposal to ban a form of armor-piercing ammunition commonly used in AR-15 hunting rifles.
In a statement Tuesday afternoon, the ATF said it will not seek to issue a final framework for the rule "at this time" after receiving more than 80,000 comments on the proposal, the "vast majority" of which were negative. (Read more)
- Lord God, as we read the details of this report, we can see that the huge outcry against this decision by the ATF came from both sides of the aisle, and from both sides of the Hill. We shout HALLELUJAH that our people HAVE raised voices of protest, and that this agency has reacted accordingly. Praise the Lord!
- "Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy." (Psalm 28:6)
4. Christians to storm Boehner office for massive sit-in - WND
Pro-life activist Jill Stanek is joining with the Christian Defense Coalition later this month to stage a sit-in on Capitol Hill over lack of action on a late-term abortion ban that was supposed to be passed in January. The sit-in is scheduled for 11.a.m. EST on March 25 outside the office of House Speaker John Boehner. (Read more)
- Lord God, once again we lift up voices of praise to You, Abba, that we do live in a nation that honors our Constitutional rights to assemble in peaceful gatherings of protest. We ask for Your Hand of favor and mercy to rest upon these who will join this sit-in, later this month, on behalf of LIFE. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.
- "All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God . . ." (Deut. 28:2)
5. Former SEALs chaplain could be kicked out of Navy for Christian beliefs - Fox News
A chaplain who once ministered to Navy SEALs could be thrown out of the military after he was accused of failing "to show tolerance and respect" in private counseling sessions in regards to issues pertaining to faith, marriage and sexuality, specifically homosexuality and pre-marital sex, according to documents obtained exclusively by Fox News.
Lt. Commander Wes Modder, who is endorsed by the Assemblies of God, has also been accused of being unable to "function in the diverse and pluralistic environment" of the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, S.C. "On multiple occasions he discriminated against students who were of different faiths and backgrounds," the Chaplain's commanding Officer Capt. Jon R. Fahs wrote in a memorandum obtained by Fox News. (Read more)
- Lord God, we cry out to You, Holy One, for mercy in time of need. The apparent persecution of Chaplain Modder for holding to his Christian beliefs while ministering to those under his care is but one example of the rapidly growing trend of religious persecution in our nation. We ask for an acquittal of these charges against Chaplain Modder, and an end to this oppression for all others. We ask this prayer, believing and knowing, Abba, that you CAN answer, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen and amen.
- "The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever." (Psalm 28:8,9)
6. Israel Critic and Hamas Defender Named As Obama's New Mideast Coordinator - CNSNews.com
Three days after Israel's prime minister stood before Congress questioning the wisdom of a key Obama administration foreign policy initiative, National Security Adviser Susan Rice on Friday named as head of her Mideast desk an official who has stoked controversy with past criticisms of Israel and by meeting with Hamas terrorists. Robert Malley, who has been serving as NSC senior director for Iran, Iraq, Syria and the Gulf states, is set to succeed Philip Gordon as special assistant to the president and White House coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.
"There could be no better successor to Phil than Rob Malley, who is already one of my most trusted advisers and ideally placed to provide a seamless transition," Rice said in a statement. "One of our country's most respected experts on the Middle East, since February 2014 Rob has played a critical role in forming our policy on Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the Gulf. I look forward to working with him in his new role."(Read more)
- Forgive us, Lord, for having political leaders who disparage Israel and look positively on terrorist organizations. Dear Father, we call for a replacement of all officials who cannot support Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. As a country established as a Judeo-Christian nation, we declare that we will bless Israel and pray for those who hate her to turn from their wicked ways. In the strong name of Jesus, we pray!
- "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: And in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3)
7. Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Tests Whether It Is Serious
- NY Times
President Obama said that he and other world leaders have offered Iran an "extraordinarily reasonable deal" that will test whether the leadership of the Islamic nation is serious about at last resolving the dispute over its nuclear program.
Even as negotiators appear close to an agreement, Mr. Obama highlighted the challenge of what comes next: ensuring that any pact forged in Geneva can pass muster in Tehran, where Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, has expressed deep skepticism about a settlement with the outside world. "We have made progress in narrowing the gaps, but those gaps still exist," Mr. Obama said in an interview with CBS News that aired Sunday on "Face the Nation." "And I would say that over the next month or so, we're going to be able to determine whether or not their system is able to accept what would be an extraordinarily reasonable deal, if in fact, as they say, they are only interested in peaceful nuclear programs." (Read more)
- Father God, as the world makes plans that it hopes Iran will accept, we know You have Your own plans for Iran to be saved and converted to a peaceful people who will not need to be watched for constructing nuclear bombs to threaten their neighbors, especially Israel. In the name of Jesus, we ask You to put a stop to all nuclear development intended for warlike usage. Bless You, Lord, for hearing us in this most important matter.
- "I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and , lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found." (Psalms 37:35-36)
8. Senators Tell Iran: A Deal You Sign with Obama Ends in 2016 - Israel National News
A group of 47 Republican senators has written an open letter to Iran's leaders warning them that any nuclear deal they sign with President Barack Obama will not be valid after Obama leaves office in 2016, reports Josh Rogin on Bloomberg The letter was by freshman Senator Tom Cotton and signed by the Senate's entire Republican leadership as well as potential 2016 presidential contenders Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. (Read more)
- Father, we do pray that Congress will get a say on the Iran deal. We pray You put a stop to the many executive orders by this president. Prevent any deals with Iran that would put America and Israel in danger.
- "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice." (Proverbs 12:15)
9. While Obama Guts The U.S. Military, Russia Prepares For War - Rapture Ready
The Russian military and the U.S. military are going in two very different directions. Military spending in Russia is increasing by a whopping 33 percent this year alone, and the Russians are feverishly preparing as if a major war with the United States is inevitable. But despite the fact that the conflict in Ukraine has raised tensions with Russia to Cold War levels, the Obama administration is still acting as if we were living in a "post-Cold War" era.
Even while the Russians are arming themselves to the teeth, the U.S. military is being gutted. In fact, the U.S. Army is in the process of being cut down to the smallest size that we have seen since the end of World War II, and the U.S. Navy is already the smallest that it has been since World War I. There is very little political debate about this gutting of our military at the moment, but someday we may look back and bitterly regret not being more prepared. (Read more)
- Father, we pray that a political debate would rise up on the gutting of our military. With threats all around America and Israel, it is unwise to downsize our military. Father, give us wise leaders that have our best interests at heart. Father, prevent any further action to reduce our military. Give us leaders with foresight that will plan ahead for any threats.
- "And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art . . . " (Genesis 41:39)
10. Boko Haram leader pledges allegiance to Islamic State group - AFP
The leader of Nigeria's Boko Haram militants, Abubakar Shekau, pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) group in an audio recording released Saturday. "We announce our allegiance to the Caliph of the Muslims, Ibrahim ibn Awad ibn Ibrahim al-Husseini al-Qurashi," said the voice on the message, which was believed to be that of Shekau and was released through Boko Haram's Twitter account. Qurashi is better known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the IS group which has proclaimed a caliphate in parts of Syria and Iraq. (Read more)
- Father, we pray You confuse this enemy. Prevent them from becoming stronger. Keep them in confusion and disarray. In Jesus Name.
- "Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt." (Psalm 35:4)

It added that peace would not be achieved without full Israeli withdrawalfrom all "occupied Palestinian and Arab territories", including the Golan Heights, according to Anadolu. (Read more)

At the AIPAC conference, a sea of 16,000 Israel supporters spent their time talking Iran policy amid the swirling controversy over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress.

4. Netanyahu Says Congress Speech 'Well Worth' Confrontation with Obama - Breaking Israel News
After speaking to Congress on March 3 despite the objections of the Obama administration, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "a prime minister in Israel must be able to stand up even to our closest ally and tell the truth."
In an interview published Friday by Israel Hayom, whose English-language content is distributed exclusively by JNS.org, Netanyahu said his speech about the Iranian nuclear threat was "well worth the cost of confrontation" with President Barack Obama. The White House had opposed the speech on the grounds that House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) did not consult Obama about inviting Netanyahu. (Read more)

9. Netanyahu's Churchillian Warning - Aish.com
Like Churchill, will Netanyahu also be ignored?
Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress was notable in two respects. Queen Esther got her first standing ovation in 2,500 years. And President Obama came up empty in his campaign to preemptively undermine Netanyahu before the Israeli prime minister could present his case on the Iran negotiations. On the contrary. The steady stream of slights and insults turned an irritant into an international event and vastly increased the speech's audience and reach. Instead of dramatically unveiling an Iranian nuclear deal as a fait accompli, Obama must now first defend his Iranian diplomacy. In particular, argues The Post, he must defend its fundamental premise. It had been the policy of every president since 1979 that Islamist Iran must be sanctioned and contained. Obama, however, is betting instead on detente to tame Iran's aggressive behavior and nuclear ambitions. (By Charles Krauthammer) Read more here.
10. Giuliani Attacks Obama's 'Reckless' Actions on Iran - Israel National News
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Saturday said that the United States should take a stronger stance against Iran and also criticized President Barack Obama over his "reckless" actions when it comes to the Islamic Republic, according to The Associated Press (AP).
Giuliani spoke at a rally in Berlin organized by the exiled opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran, which recently warned that Iran has an underground top-secret site that is enriching uranium and has been hidden from the West for years. (Read more)

12. Obama: 'I'll Inform The Folks In America After Iran Deal Is Made - Period!" - Weekly Standard
President Obama will wait until after a nuclear deal with Iran is made to make the case to the American people that it's the right thing to do. He made the comment today after being asked about this letter from nearly 50 U.S. senators to Iran, which stated, "The next president could revoke such an executive agreement with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time."
A member of the press asked Obama, "Can you comment on the Republican letter to Iran? Can you comment on that?"
"I think it's somewhat ironic to see some members of Congress wanting to make common cause with the hardliners in Iran. It's an unusual coalition," Obama told the reporter.
"I think what we're going to focus on right now is actually seeing whether we can get a deal or not. And once we do -- if we do -- then we'll be able to make the case to the American people, and I'm confident we'll be able to implement it." (Read more)

Boko Haram, Fulani, Terror, Ghana Ministry
(Excerpt)
. . . In recent years, our ministry [ in Ghana ] has been devoted to raising up pastors in the rural areas to counter the tide of Islamic influence. This also includes bringing food and clothing to children in the villages where our pastors live, teach, preach and make disciples. We are very small, but we go to the places that the mega-churches refuse to go. We help with education and sustenance--both spiritually and physically. It is a dangerous business because Islam is a violent force that bullies and threatens our pastors and their flocks. The Muslims work very hard to control the land, the food, the going and coming in the rural areas, so if you want to live, you best convert, or life will be even more difficult than it is.
The Fulani, a nomadic Islamic people, roam across the rural areas bringing their herds. Like locusts, they have have little regard for the land and less regard for the people on the land or in the villages. Villages are often told to yield, convert or die. The Fulani are often associated with Boko Haram, the terrorist organization that has slaughtered many Christians in neighboring Nigeria--the organization responsible for kidnapping Christian school girls and selling them into slavery. CNN reported March 8 that: "Boko Haram, the Nigeria-based Islamist terror group, has pledged allegiance to ISIS, according to an audio message purported to be from Boko Haram's leader, Abubakar Shekau."
CNN says that Boko Haram announced its "allegiance to the Caliph of the Muslims, Ibrahim ibn Awad ibn Ibrahim al-Husseini al-Qurashi," which is another name for ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This is a significant development for our ministry in Ghana because it further endangers those such as William Agbeti and his team who are carrying out The Great Commission on a daily basis. Your prayer support is greatly appreciated as well as any other support you may be led to send. While we in America read about the atrocities of the Islamic State, it is very real to those who face it daily. At times it seems overwhelming, but we remember 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

Lies and manipulation a sign of the times
Republicans are not standing up to the unconstitutional and illegal deeds of the "president" and his administration. Yes, there are a lot of Facebook Posts by the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, trying to show people how conservative he is. There are a lot of letters from committee chairmen demanding this or that. But it is so far ineffective, some three months into the new terms of the new majority. Democrats, even though they support some of the most anti-God initiatives, are far better at getting their way. Republicans, if they are going to survive another term, must become an effective opposition party because the nation is unlikely to survive its Constitutional form of government if they don't.
This does have to do with Christianity and the end times. We cannot stop the march of prophecy, but we can determine our place in it. There is no better example than the book of Esther to show how the will of God is carried out by the actions of obedient people. If there were no God-given free will, there would be no purpose to life. Those fatalistic Christians who use the premise that God is in control of everything for not taking action against evil are deceived. Yes, God is in control, as the cliche says, but He relies on his people to pray and act, to overcome evil with good. Politicians are human. They often claim the Christian faith. While many try to separate church from state, one cannot separate his spirit from his body.
When politicians send letters and make statements, it only means that they are playing to the public--trying to get people to believe they are doing something. The letters, emails, faxes, sent by well-intended folks trying to exercise their concerned citizenship, are recorded by issue and used as a list by the politician to "inform" their constituents of all the good they are doing. It is a manipulation game of half truths and, in many cases, blatant lies. If John Boehner, or any of them for that matter, wanted to set things straight, he would immediately go the legal route. The Constitution requires the President to uphold and faithfully execute the laws of the nation. When he doesn't, he is subject to the law.
Instead of trying to pass more laws to prevent illegal amnesty, or send a letter to Iran about a nuclear deal, or whatever, the Republican opposition should hold a trial and convict this "president" on the host of unconstitutional and illegal things he has done. He should be tried in public, convicted if guilty and sent to prison. But, of course, if that course were taken, then many who join in would be subject to their own criminal or civil indiscretions. 2 Timothy 3:13 says, "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." As the royal priesthood of the living God, we, His people, must act--we must make disciples who will know the truth and we must find effective ways to hold accountability.

Google overhaul would radically alter search results
According to an article in New Scientist, the Internet search giant is considering a new algorithm for ranking its search results: one based not on how commonly a site is linked - which is central to its current system - but on how "trustworthy" Google determines the source website to be. In other words, those sites Google says print truth would come up first in user searches, while those sites Google thinks stray too often from the truth would be buried on a later page.
Google controls nearly two-thirds of the world's search results, CNN reports, making it one of the biggest Internet gateways for more than a billion people around the world. The Washington Post further declared, "Google long ago went from being a mere directory of the Internet to a shaper of online reality, helping determine what we see and how," based on former Psychology Today editor Robert Epstein's research, which revealed search engines have the power to profoundly impact elections and voters, even without them realizing it.
RedState's Ben Howe, furthermore, has documented Google is not only deeply involved with the Democrat Party in the U.S., but its chairman, Eric Schmidt, was also the Obama campaign's go-to tech man in the 2012 election. (WND) Read more
- Heavenly Father, we are saddened to read how Google is revising its search formula to present biased results, basing results on extreme leftist views. Even if counter views are returned with the search, their plans to have them buried so far down in the results that only biased, one-sided information is all that is viewed most of the time. Help us, Lord, as this is only the beginning of closing out any chance of 'balanced'' information being available to us. Censorship will most likely just continue to grow. Protect us, Father, we pray in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.
- "Do not be envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them." (Proverbs 24:1 NKJV)

A Supreme Court Victory:
Notre Dame Wins
The University of Notre Dame scored a victory today at the Supreme Court. The justices overturned a ruling by the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals forcing the Catholic institution to pay for contraception and abortion-inducing drugs in its health insurance policies.
The justices ordered the 7th Circuit to reconsider the case in view of the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby decision upholding religious liberty rights.
If you thought this issue had been decided as a result of the Hobby Lobby case, think again. The Obama Administration is still prosecuting cases against religious institutions and charities, including the Little Sisters of the Poor, arguing that Hobby Lobby only applied to closely held businesses.
Hopefully today's action by the Supreme Court is the beginning of the end of this Obama Administration assault on religious liberty.

March 20: A Solemn Assembly in Jerusalem
|
||||
March 20:
The Justice Foundation Calls for A Solemn Assembly
in Jerusalem
HEAR O ISRAEL ! BLOW THE SHOFAR IN ZION !
An Invitation to everyone in Israel to a Joel 2 Solemn Assembly before the Great and Terrible Day of THE LORD with a group of Christians and Christian Ministries from the USA and other nations who love Israel and want to bless Israel through a project called: "A Line in the Sand Israel 2015" on March 20, 2015
We believe that the Great and Terrible Day of THE LORD prophesied throughout the scriptures is coming soon. Because we feel it is a time for repentance, we are coming to Israel to CRY OUT before GOD and the Nation of Israel for the sins of Christians that have been committed against the Jews for centuries. We also are going to repent for past and present sins. We believe the Jewish people are God's chosen people and the fulfillment of all GOD'S promises to the Jewish people will be coming true soon, though only THE LORD knows the time. We are coming to bless Israel and hold a Solemn Assembly which will be held on the day the sun will be darkened with a partial eclipse visible from Jerusalem on March 20, 2015.
Most people understand this is an unusual time in human history. We believe that even the signs in the Heavens point to something new coming, with blood red moons (lunar eclipses) on Rosh Hashanah 2014 and Sukkot 2014, with the sun being partially darkened (solar eclipse) on March 20, and blood red moons again on Passover 2015 and Sukkot 2015.
We are calling upon all citizens of Israel: The Elders, the Priests, the Levites, adults, children, everyone in the land should turn to THE LORD and repent, for He is gracious and compassionate per Joel 2:13. It is a time to rend your heart and not your garments because THE LORD is slow to anger and abounding in love and He may relent from sending calamity. He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing. Here are the words of the prophet Joel that we believe are calling us to Israel:
Joel 2:1-2a "Blow a shofar in Zion, And sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, For the day of the Lord is coming; Surely it is near, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness" (Joel 2:15) "Blow the Shofar in Zion, Consecrate a fast, gather the people."
(Joel 2:28-32) "It will come about after this I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. "Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. "I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire and columns of smoke. "The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. "And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Will be delivered."
YOU ARE INVITED . . . No Admission Fee!
If you would like to join us in praise, prayer and repentance, we will be at The Pavilion, time and location shown below. For those who cannot be with us, you may choose to go to the Wailing Wall to pray or you may decide to go to your own synagogue/church or join with family members, wherever you can take time to be in prayer during this day. We desire UNITY. We acknowledge all faiths, but at this Solemn Assembly as Christians/Messianic believers we are calling upon the Name of the LORD of Host to bless Israel.

Miracle: 18-month Old Found Alive after Over 12 Hours in the River,
and What Was that "Mysterious Voice" Heard by First Responders?
"It felt like I could hear someone telling me, 'I need help.' It was very surreal, something that I felt like I could hear."
(Utah)-According to a CNN report, when Utah officer Jared Warner carried the baby he and other first responders had rescued from an overturned car this weekend, she was "barely alive."
Mother of the toddler, 25-year-old Lynn Jennifer Groesbeck, was killed in the accident, when her car left the roadway and skidded into the Spanish Fork River, flipping upside-down.
It wasn't until a fisherman noticed the wreck the next day and called 9-1-1, that help arrived some 14-hours after the crash.
Mystery Voice Responders report hearing an "adult" voice calling for help from the car-even though the mother was dead, and baby Lily was unconscious.
"It felt like I could hear someone telling me, 'I need help,'" Officer Brian DeWitt told KSL. "It was very surreal, something that I felt like I could hear."
