1. HERMAN CAIN SUSPENDS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

A defiant Herman Cain maintained that various allegations of sexual impropriety plaguing him were untrue, but nonetheless suspended his presidential campaign Saturday.

Saying the "false and unproven accusations" have had a "tremendous painful price on my family," Cain told supporters that he had little choice but to halt his run for the Republican presidential nomination.

"As of today, with a lot of prayer and soul searching, I am suspending my presidential campaign," Cain said. He also announced that he planned to endorse another GOP candidate "in the near future," and within moments of his speech praise poured in from his former Republican competitors. (The Hill)

- Lift up a prayer tonight for Herman Cain and his wife, Gloria, as they move into a new season in their marriage and in their lives. Herman Cain certainly galvanized the conservative wing with new energy and enthusiasm, and his ideas to revamp our tax structure are still being discussed today. This "war" is now over; may they know His peace. Amen.

- "There is a time for everything . . .a time for peace."
(Eccl. 3:1,8)

2. SENATE PASSES NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT

Bill Passes with Disputed Terror Policies

Earlier this week, Conservative Action Alerts reported that the Senate failed to approve amendments curtailing the power of the National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1867) for Fiscal Year 2012, a bill crafted in secret by Senators Carl Levin (D-MI) and John McCain (R-AZ) that would declare the entire United States of America as a military battlefield. The DoD Bill also provides the President power to hold American citizens indefinitely and waives the right to trial, codified in the Bill of Rights. [For more information on this bill, see special report, below.]

- S. 1867 was passed on Thursday by a vote of 93 - 7. Please pray that all dangerous language included, now coming to light, will be removed before its final vote in a conference committee later this month.

- "The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)

3. OBAMA LAWYERS: CITIZENS TARGETED IF AT WAR WITH U.S.

U.S. citizens are legitimate military targets when they take up arms with al-Qaida, top national security lawyers in the Obama administration said Thursday. The lawyers were asked at a national security conference about the CIA killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen and leading al-Qaida figure. He died in a Sept. 30 U.S. drone strike in the mountains of Yemen.

The government lawyers, CIA counsel Stephen Preston and Pentagon counsel Jeh Johnson, did not directly address the al-Awlaki case. But they said U.S. citizens do not have immunity when they are at war with the United States. Johnson said only the executive branch, not the courts, is equipped to make military battlefield targeting decisions about who qualifies as an enemy.

The courts in habeas cases, such as those involving whether a detainee should be released from the Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Cuba, make the determination of who can be considered an enemy combatant. (Associated Press) Read more.

- Dear Lord, we thank you for the wonderful freedoms we have had in this county and ask that You would set up barriers to the slippery slope of incrementally losing our protections as US citizens. Father, we ask that our executive branch and our judges would handle this important matter wisely without endangering those who are political opponents. We ask that this would never be used against patriotic law abiding Americans.

- "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."
(Proverbs 29:2)

4. DOJ SEALS RECORDS OF MURDERED BORDER PATROL AGENT

Agent Was Implicated in "Fast and Furious"

The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.

The murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent is related to the Justice Department willingly turning over thousands of guns to Mexican criminal gangs, and Obama administration is hiding information about his death from the public. Amazing. (by Mark Hemingway; The Weekly Standard) Read more.

- Oh Abba Father, we fall before You. repenting for our sins as persons and as a nation. Have mercy Lord, we plead and bring all the schemes plotted by the evil one to light, exposing the lies and deceptions, in Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.

- "Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord. They say, 'Who sees us?' and 'Who knows us?'. Surely you have things turned around! Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay; for shall the thing made say of him who made it 'He did not make me?' or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it, 'He has no understanding?'
(Isaiah 29:15-16)

5. WHISTLEBLOWERS PUNISHED OVER "FAST AND FURIOUS?"

Six months ago, several agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives stood before Congress to testify about the details of a U.S. government program that armed Mexico's largest drug cartel with thousands of assault rifles.

The administration denied it at the time and questioned the agents' integrity. The men were nervous and scared. They said they feared for their careers, their reputation and their families.

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed on Dec. 14, 2010. Weapons found at the scene were linked to Operation Fast and Furious, the ATF program that let guns be purchased illegally and cross the border. Several have now reportedly been tied to crimes in the U.S.

"Any attempt to retaliate against them for their testimony today would be unfair, unwise and unlawful," Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, warned the Department of Justice.

And while Obama has said the operation was a mistake and that "people who screwed up will be held accountable," the record so far does not bear that out. Those in charge of the botched operation have been reassigned or promoted, their pensions intact. But many of those who blew the whistle face isolation, retaliation and transfer. (Fox News) Read more.

- Our gracious God, we come to You distressed that so much corruption is being found in our government. Lord, we ask that You would protect those who are honest and stand up for truth. Support and provide for them even as wicked men are punishing them. We call for more men and women to stand up for what is moral and right in Your eyes. We pray for Your rod of justice to be held up to this situation and all wrongs to be corrected by You.

- "Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:"
(Nehemiah 4:4)

6. CONGRESSMAN CALLS FOR INVESTIGATION OF CELLPHONE TRACKING SOFTWARE

Rep. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) urged the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Friday to investigate reports that Carrier IQ software tracks nearly everything that consumers do on their smartphones. The lawmaker said the FTC has the authority to investigate whether the software amounts to an "unfair or deceptive" trade practice. (The Hill) Read more.

Could U.S. Government Start Reading Your Emails?

. . . a newly revealed security research project called PRODIGAL -- the Proactive Discovery of Insider Threats Using Graph Analysis and Learning -- which has been built to scan IMs, texts and emails . . . and can read approximately a quarter billion of them a day. "Every time someone logs on or off, sends an email or text, touches a file or plugs in a USB key, these records are collected within the organization," stated David Bader, a professor at the Georgia Tech School of Computational Science and Engineering and a principal investigator on the project. "Some people say it's one step further toward a police state," said Anthony Howard, a book author and security expert who has consulted for the Department of Homeland Security. PRODIGAL's ability to scan reams of data is clearly the next step in tracking unusual activity, and it's guaranteed to raise a red flag for many. "Since people tend to be imperfect, the data captured can easily be mishandled. Where does it end?" Howard said. (Fox News) Read more.

- Pray over the eye of the horn in Daniel 7:8 that has eyes. It is surveillance of people. We have that now. Pray for God's people to be supernaturally hidden.

- ". . .no weapon forged against you will prosper . . ."
(Isaiah 54:17)

7. HOUSE COMMITTEE VOTES TO REPEAL OBAMA'S CLASS ACT

Acting with bipartisan support, a House committee Wednesday voted to repeal the CLASS Act, part of Obama's health care law that the administration has said is unsustainable, but also said it didn't want to see ended entirely. Three conservative-leaning Democrats - Reps. Mike Ross of Arkansas, Jim Matheson of Utah and John Barrow of Georgia - broke with their party to support the repeal, which passed the committee 33-17.

While some Democrats have argued for restructuring the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports Act (CLASS) and the White House opposes repealing the program, Republicans insist on scrapping it in its entirety, saying the law would be a long-term drag on the federal budget. "I believe we have to start over on long-term care reform - an issue that will affect millions of Americans as they or a loved one need care," said Rep. Fred Upton, Michigan Republican and chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. (Washington Times) Read more.

- Dear Lord, we thank You for the unity shown in the vote in this committee. We also thank You for the unity shown across party lines in making an inroad into this foul law. We ask that many more inroads would develop to break down this awful law and eventually eliminate it all together. We ask that this entire healthcare law would be declared unconstitutional. We thank You for watching over Your people as a just healthcare system comes into place.

- "I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him."
(Ezekiel 21:27)

8. UPDATE: OBAMACARE APPEAL IN THE SUPREME COURT

Liberty Counsel is still directly involved in legal efforts to STOP ObamaCare. When the Supreme Court announced that it will hear oral arguments on the constitutionality of ObamaCare, the High Court made it clear that each of the essential constitutional questions in Liberty Counsel's case opposing ObamaCare must be fully addressed.

Because the Court decided to hold our case, neither accepting nor rejecting our petition to be heard, we remain on the Supreme Court's docket. After hearing the Florida case, which 26 other states joined along with the Nation Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the Court will address our case.

For now, we are preparing an extensive brief to the Court on a wide range of issues. Our Amicus Brief will be a significant factor in helping shape the Justices' view of the facts.

This showdown over ObamaCare is without doubt the most important case the Court will hear in this term and perhaps for many, many years to come.

- Continue to "hover over" this appeal in prayer until it has been fully resolved unto righteousness. Please pray for each Supreme Court Justice by name, asking our Lord to show His wisdom to each one as he or she weighs this critical case. Pray!

- "Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes." (Psalm 119:135)

9. SENATOR SESSIONS: JUSTICE (KAGAN) SHOULD ACT WITH "HIGHEST ETHICAL STANDARDS"

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) said Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan did nothing wrong by potentially preparing a defense for Obamacare when she was the solicitor general, but stressed that a Supreme Court justice must act "in a way that's consistent with the highest ethical standards of recusal" now that litigation over Obamacare is going before the high court next spring. My experience back in Alabama says lawyers on the state benches, federal benches, leave their practices and go to the court," Sessions told CNSNews.com on Wednesday at a briefing in Washington, D.C. "If that lawyer was in a law firm and one of his subordinates was handling a case, and now he's sitting on the bench, he can't sit on that case." "He would recuse himself even if he had little substantive involvement with it," said the senator. "That's my understanding of the law. So that's what I'm looking at right now."

During Kagan's 2010 confirmation process, Sen. Sessions and other Judiciary Committee Republicans asked her two questions in writing about whether she had ever been asked or had ever offered her views "regarding the underlying legal or constitutional issues related to any proposed health care legislation" or "potential litigation resulting from such legislation?" Kagan's response to both questions was: "No." However, e-mails that surfaced as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from CNSNews.com and Judicial Watch, showed that there had been some communication between Solicitor General Kagan and other Justice Department officials. (CNSNews.com) Read more.

- Pray for a way to be made that forces Kagan to recuse herself. We need God's supernatuaral help. Pray for the defeat of Obamacare.

- "Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate." (Amos 5:15)

10. HOUSE HEARING NEXT WEEK ON NEED FOR KAGAN'S POSSIBLE RECUSAL

Barely two weeks ago, Judicial Action Group delivered a letter to Chairman Lamar Smith of the House Judiciary Committee asking him to immediately hold hearings investigating Supreme Court Justice Kagan's past work for the Obama Administration in defending ObamaCare. In response to that request, Chairman Smith has delivered a third letter to the Department of Justice asking them to reveal the full extent of Kagan's involvement in preparing legal defenses for Obamacare. Attorney General Eric Holder has repeatedly ignored, then rudely denied, the Judiciary Committee's past requests - but they aren't taking "No" for an answer, and neither will we!

On Thursday, December 8, Attorney General Holder will appear before the Judiciary Committee for a routine oversight hearing to answer questions posed by Congress on a range of issues. This is an excellent opportunity for the Judiciary Committee of Congress to ask Holder about Kagan's work in defending ObamaCare. Also, the Committee must demand that Holder produce the requested documents and make the witnesses available to either prove or disprove that Kagan was involved in the defense of ObamaCare . . . and therefore, must recuse herself from judging the same case that she lawyered! (Judicial Action Group)

- To preserve the integrity of our United States Supreme Court, Kagan must recuse herself from any ObamaCare case. To preserve the openness of our government, Eric Holder must respond to the Judiciary Committee's request for documents and interviews related to Kagan's time as Solicitor General. Pray and decree that this will happen at the hearing on Thursday in the House Judiciary Committee.

- "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
(Matthew 21:22)

 ALERT!!!!! (Four Articles)

A) National Defense Authorization Act:

Declaring the Homeland a "Battlefield"
(Source: Hebrew Nation News)

There has been a flurry and outcry about the National Defense Authorization Bill that has passed the Senate. Next it goes to the house, and, if passed, will ultimately reach Obama's desk for signature approval.

What is all the controversy about with this bill? First, it declares that the homeland is now considered a battlefield. In essence, the bill extends the terror battlefield to the entirety of the United States. It brings the "war on terror" home to within our own borders.

Next, it gives authority to the US military to detain "covered persons" to hold them in military custody or to go forward with a military trial, suspending due process, and holding a detainee without a speedy trial, thus suspending 4th and 6th amendments of the US constitution. If you are dealing with an al-Qaeda terrorist who is here illegally that is one thing. But, could this provision in the bill also apply to a US citizen who is perceived as a "terrorist?"

Seems that the bill is focusing on those who are a "threat to the US", who are considered "terrorists". Now that the Obama administration has sanitized and wiped clean in the FBI, Homeland Security, and the State Department all its training materials and communications that would associate "radical Islam" to "terrorist", how does this administration define or view "terrorist" in its own homeland?

According to the New York Times, several top security officials have come out in opposition to this bill-including the Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, and the Director of the FBI, Robert Mueller III, as well as several former counterterrorism officials from the Bush administration. The fact that even our own security leaders who are tasked with protecting the homeland are against this bill should raise loud alarm bells in our national psyche.

Writer and attorney, Bonnie Harvey, takes a close look at the actual language of the bill and gives her analysis with comments. Will this bill, if passed into law, give an open door to the government to round up US citizens, detain them unlawfully, without due process? Bonnie's sharp analysis will give you the facts, and what they mean.

B) Sen. Rand Paul, joined by only one Republican, loses battle against martial law legislation (Source: Louisville.com)

Talk about strange bedfellows! Rand Paul, Kentucky's Republican Junior Senator, found himself teamed up yesterday with Senate left-wing Democrats and the ACLU, in a failed attempt to insert an amendment into the massive National Defense Authorization Act, which would have limited the federal government's power to enforce martial law against American civilians. Sixteen Democrats and an independent joined with Republicans to defeat an amendment by Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) that would have killed the provision, voting it down with 60 against, and 38 for it; keeping in the controversial provision which allows the military to detain terrorism suspects on U.S. soil and hold them indefinitely without trial.

Senator Paul observed that the unamended law would mean that any American citizen suspected of aiding terrorism would get just one hearing, where the military could assert that the person is a suspected terrorist, and then he could be locked up for life, without ever being formally charged. "I'm very, very, concerned about having U.S. citizens sent to Guantanamo Bay for indefinite detention," said Sen. Paul. Illinois Senator Mark Kirk was the only other Republican joining Sen. Paul in his support for the Udall amendment. Read more.

C) Former Virginia Governor James Gilmore Voices Opposition to the National Defense Authorization Act (Source: The Wellborn Freedom Watch)

Here's what Jim Gilmore reportedly said about Section 1031: "The provisions of this Bill undermine the basic safeguards that we enjoy as Americans. It is dangerous, and should not be supported by anyone: Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, citizen or non-citizen. Any member of Congress voting for this bill should be defeated at the next election," Gilmore said. He added: "This ill-considered bill is one of those dangers to our liberties by an unwise extension of military power in the homeland contrary to all law, precedent and history." (The Wellborn Freedom Watch) Read more.

D) SUMMARY FROM CHPP: WHERE WE ARE NOW

S. 1867, The National Defense Authorization Act - a massive bill - went sailing through the Senate on an almost - unanimous vote of 93-7, shortly after Senator Carl Levin brought it to the floor, with NO COSPONSORS. This fact, in itself, is very strange. We feel that S. 1867 bears watching in the weeks ahead, and we encourage all of you to please "pray without ceasing" that the dangerous amendments to this bill, which includes American civilians as potential detainees in military prisons and tribunals, BE REMOVED.

Specifically, now that S. 1867 has been passed in both the Senate and in the House, it will move next to a conference committee where members of both parties, from both sides of the Hill, will merge both versions of this bill (House and Senate) into one; then be voted upon again in both chambers; and finally move to the White House for signing into law.

The Carl Levin/John McCain martial law provision MUST be stopped in the Senate and House conference!!

We will continue to advise you of petitions you might sign, urging your senators and congressman to strip this language in committee, so please stay tuned for details.

Prayer Request

- Father God, we thank You that in Your omniscience, tonight You are looking down from heaven and gazing upon every aspect of this potentially dangerous bill. We ask, Lord God, that You would cause the American people to see the danger therein, and to take action to bring correction to its language, while there is still time.

We know we are asking for a miracle, Lord, but we also know that You are a God who can and will do miracles, if we but humble ourselves, repent of our sins, pray, and cry out to You for mercy.

Would You please act now for the sake of Your people in our land, amen.

- "You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; for they are ever with me."
(Psalm 119:98)

1. GOP WILL PASS BILL REINING IN ROGUE FEDERAL AGENCIES

Costing the American people hundreds of billions of dollars over the years by their massive regulations and rule-making, the federal agencies and their bureaucrats will finally be reined in after Congress passes the law -- up for a vote next week in the United States House of Representatives -- called the "Regulations From the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act of 2011", H.R. 10. The bill number shows you how important the House Republican leadership believe this bill truly is.

Unfortunately, the most socialist president in American history will undoubtedly veto this commonsense legislation, if somehow the Democrats in the Senate force their leadership to allow a vote on H.R.10. However, the president replacing him on January 20, 2013 will sign this bill -- forcing the countless number of rogue agencies to be more responsible -- as one of his/her first acts as president. (Christian Coalition of America) Read more.

- Ask the Lord to move upon the hearts of these legislators to pass this bill.

- " . . . He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ . . ." (Phil. 1:6)

2. SENATE PASSES BILL ALLOWING SODOMY, BESTIALITY IN THE U.S. MILITARY

Last evening (Thursday) the Senate voted 93-7 to approve a defense authorization bill that includes a provision which not only repeals the military law on sodomy, it also repeals the military ban on sex with animals---also called bestiality. On Nov. 15, the Senate Armed Services Committee had unanimously approved S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act, which includes a provision to repeal Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Article 125 of the UCMJ makes it illegal to engage in both sodomy with humans and sex with animals. (Family Research Council)

- Some news these days is too horrible even to gaze upon, much less intercede over. Our society has sunk to such a level of degradation that only a mighty move by the very Hand of God can save us now.

Pray that this wicked decision will be given to the Supreme Court, where it will be overruled. Pray!

- "I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him."
(Ezekiel 21:27)

3. GOP SPLIT ON PAYROLL TAX CUT

Republican leaders in Congress are facing a pushback from their rank and file as they try to sell another year of a payroll tax cut championed by Obama. The skepticism comes at an intensely difficult time for GOP leaders, who have implored their caucuses to fall into line even as Obama and Democrats have moved to steal their tax-cutting credentials. Rival bills proposed by Senate Democrats and Republicans both failed in floor votes Thursday night as the two parties battled over how to pay for the extended break. The Senate Republican bill won only 20 votes, less than half the GOP conference. (The Hill) Read more.

- Pray that all issues related to our budget, our tax structure, and our national economy would be led by the Spirit of the Most High God, rather than by man's "wisdom." Pray!

- "But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about." (John 4:32)

4. LAWMAKERS PROPOSE END TO CONGRESSIONAL PENSIONS

In an effort both to identify cost savings amid the nation's growing debt crisis and to give federal lawmakers more credibility in addressing related financial issues, Rep. Tim Griffin (R-Ark.) and Rep. Mike Coffman (R-Colo.) have recently introduced separate proposals for the elimination of pension benefits for members of Congress. In mid-November, Griffin put forward legislation terminating congressional pensions for future elected officials. Two months earlier, Coffman introduced stricter legislation to eliminate lawmakers' pensions.

Congressional feedback has been "probably more negative than positive, but I'm hoping that the negative people, under pressure from the American people, will come on board," he said. (The Hill) Read more.

- Dear Abba Father, May members of Congress be confronted with Your Glory and Power, causing them to face the spirits of selfishness and greed which motivates so many of them. May You reach out and confront them in some manner, where they are forced to face how these pensions and benefits need to come in line with the people whom they were elected to serve. We lift up praise and thanks to You Lord for those who are sponsoring these bills, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- 'To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' (Acts 26:18)

5. SENATE BACKS PROPOSAL TO LET MILITARY CHAPLAINS DECLINE PERFORMING SAME-SEX "MARRIAGES"

Military chaplains could decline to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies under a measure approved this week by the Senate. The amendment, proposed by Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., was added Wednesday to the massive, must-pass defense spending bill. The Senate approved the spending bill Thursday night by a vote of 93-7.

The chaplain proposal comes after the Pentagon in September authorized chaplains to perform the ceremonies -- as long as it's allowed by state law -- as the repeal of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy banning gays from serving openly in the military took effect. Wicker said the proposal would allow chaplains to "maintain the freedom of conscience necessary to serve both their nation and their religion without conflict." "Protections for military chaplains should be guaranteed in any policy changes being implemented," Wicker said in a statement.

But Wicker's proposal still has to be reconciled with a competing proposal on military chaplains in the House-passed bill. That proposal, sponsored by Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kan., was aimed at prohibiting chaplains from performing the ceremonies on bases no matter what the state laws say. Huelskamp's amendment presumably would achieve that by blocking funding for chaplain training. While Wicker's proposal comes in the context of the "don't ask, don't tell" repeal, the amendment itself would allow military chaplains to decline to perform any marriage "as a matter of conscience or moral principle."

- Oh Abba Father, we come before Your throne asking for Your mercy that we as a nation have allowed ourselves to be in this position. We ask that this amendment be agreed upon and allowed to remain in the defense spending bill, voted on by both sides of Congress and that these chaplains will be able to live by Your God driven conscience while still serving in the military, Amen and Amen.

- "Praise ye the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise in the assembly of saints." (Psalm 149:1)

6. URGENT HELP NEEDED ON SPECTRUM LEGISLATION

Imminent Vote Threatens to Silence Gospel TV Stations

I am writing as the Chairman of the NRB TV Committee and as a founding member of the Coalition for Free TV and Broadband.

I want to alert you to the strong probability that the future of the Low Power Television industry in America may be decided in a matter of days. As it now appears, there is not much of a future for the free expression of the Gospel of Christ to our nation on hundreds of low-power religious stations.

The House Communications Subcommittee passed the incentive-auction-containing JOBS Act out of committee last week and there's strong indication it might not even be marked up in the full committee but be attached to a popular spending bill next week to insure its passage.
As it now stands, there is NO protection for Low-Power Television Stations or Translators, just full-power and Class "A" stations. LPTV owners, many of them NRB members, will have no voice, no seat at the table. They will not be included in any auction. They will not be reimbursed for any relocation of frequencies and if they are in a market along the country's borders with Mexico or Canada or in major metropolitan areas, there won't be room for them on the dial. They will have to turn off their transmitters, lose their life's investment and silence their message of hope and salvation. By some estimates, 4-thousand stations are now in jeopardy.

- Pray that Congress will change the language of the JOBS bill so that these thousands of "small stations" will not be forced to go off the air. The Gospel must be preached in our nation!!

- "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you." (Jer. 32:17)

1. PANETTA SCOLDS ISRAEL ON PEACE TALKS

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta urged Israel on Friday to "reach out and mend fences" with Turkey, Egypt and other security partners in the Middle East, saying he is troubled by the Jewish state's growing isolation in the volatile region. He also pressed Israeli leaders to do more to restart peace talks with the Palestinians -- "Just get to the damned table" -- and underscored President Obama's determination to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He called Iran "a very grave threat to all of us" and said any Iranian disruption of the free flow of commerce through the Persian Gulf is a "red line" for the U.S.

In a speech at a Brookings Institution forum, Panetta said that while Israel is not solely responsible for its isolation, it could more actively attempt to reverse the trend. Panetta, who made his first visit to Israel as Pentagon chief in October, said it is in the interests of Israel as well as Turkey, a NATO ally of the United States, to reconcile. He said he would take that message to Ankara when he visits there in two weeks. He urged the Israelis to address their concerns about Egypt's political revolution through increased communication and cooperation with Egyptian authorities, "not by stepping away from them." Peace talks have been moribund for more than a year.

Panetta spoke starkly of the challenge of Iran's nuclear ambitions. "No greater threat exists to the security and prosperity of the Middle East than a nuclear-armed Iran," he said, adding that Obama has not ruled out using military force to stop Iran from going nuclear. He said such an attack would "at best" delay Iran's nuclear program by one or two years. Among the unintended consequences, he said, would be an increase in regional support for Iran and the likelihood of Iranian retaliation against U.S. forces and bases in the Middle East. It also would have harmful economic consequences and could lead to military escalation, he said .(Fox News) Read more.

- Ask the Lord to forgive our administration for its bullying tactics against the nation of Israel, and stand in the gap in repentance. Please pray for Israel to be left to do what she knows is right and to ignore any pressures from the White House.

2. ISRAELI PRESIDENT DISCUSSES PALESTINIAN SITUATION WITH JORDANIAN KING

President Shimon Peres of Israel met on November 28 with Jordanian King Abdullah II in the Jordanian capital of Amman. According to a press release from Peres' office, the two leaders discussed "various bilateral issues as well as ways to overcome obstacles in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, and exchanged views regarding recent developments in the region." Prime Minister's Office spokesman Mark Regev said, "President Peres's comments were coordinated with the Prime Minister [Netanyahu], and those comments included our ideas on how best to get the peace process restarted."

The Jordanian PETRA news agency said the visit came after King Abdullah visited Ramallah [in the West Bank or Judea/Samaria] last week and implied that Peres presented steps for restarting the suspended peace process with the Palestinians. The Palestinians have repeatedly demanded that Israel again freeze settlement construction and accept general Palestinian demands for territory with the option of land swaps. Israel has so far declined to take those steps, instead repeatedly calling for the return to negotiations without preconditions.

The press release said that in Peres's meeting with Abdullah, Peres "stressed that reaching a solution of 'two states for two peoples' will be possible only via direct negotiations and not through appealing to the UN." The press release noted Peres and King Abdullah plan to "continue their talks in the near future" and that this meeting was held "in a warm, friendly and open atmosphere." Jordan has the relatively unique regional position of having an open relationship with both Israel and the Palestinians.

When asked if Israel is hopeful that Jordan will try to pressure or talk the Palestinians into returning to peace talks, Regev said, "I think that the Jordanians have played in the past and continue to play a positive role, a moderating role, and we always look forward to engaging with them." Both the press release and Regev highlighted the importance of Israel's relationship with Jordan - one of the only Arab nations at peace with Israel.

"Israel has a strategic interest in the strength and the stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan," said Regev. "We believe that the peace between Israel and Jordan is a foundation for stability in the region, and we will continue to act to cultivate that relationship." (Excerpts of an article by Joshua Spurlock, www.themideastupdate.com, November 28, 2011)

- Pray that Israel's relationship with Jordan will remain peaceful, providing stability in the region and a relatively safe border for Israel.

- "Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed." (Psalm 85:10)

3. THE PA RECOGNIZES ISRAEL EXISTS BUT REJECTS ISRAEL'S RIGHT TO EXIST

Israel is wrong if it assumes that only Hamas loathes Israel, says Palestinian Authority [PA] Ambassador to India Adli Sadeq. Fatah does not respect Israel either. Moreover, the PA and Fatah utterly reject that Israel has any right to exist, he wrote in an article in the official PA daily:

During the first half of 2011, five such attacks were reported. "The Judea and Samaria region is a lot quieter than it has been in the past, though terrorism still exists. For example, the August 2010 shooting attack in Beit Hagai and the terrorist attack where the Fogel family was slaughtered last March," said a Central Command officer.

Palestinian Media Watch has reported extensively on PA/Fatah denial of Israel's right to exist. PA leaders and official PA media refer to all of Israel as "occupied," including cities like Haifa and Jaffa and places like the Galilee and the Negev. The following is the excerpt of PA Ambassador to India's denial of Israel's right to exist:

"The demands of this enemy [Israel] are strange and amazing demands, unique in the history of conflicts...They [Israelis] are not satisfied with Palestinian recognition that is a function of their state and its existence, but want recognition of the eternal right of Israel to exist. Possibly their nature will bring them to ask for compensation for the years that have passed without their state's existence, during the time it had the right to exist upon our skulls . . .

"Hamas, Fatah, and the others are not waging war against Israel right now for reasons related to balance of power. There are no two Palestinians who disagree over the fact that Israel exists, and recognition of it is restating the obvious, but recognition of its right to exist is something else, different from recognition of its [physical] existence."[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 26, 2011]

(By Itamar Marcus and Nan Ziberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, December 1, 2011)

- Pray that Israel's leaders maintain their focus in the face of this kind of rhetoric, demanding that the Palestinian Authority officially recognizes the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state in their ancient homeland.

- 'I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given then,' says the LORD your God."
(Amos 9:15)

4. "WE'LL GIVE UP NUKES IF IRAN DOES THE SAME"

WASHINGTON: Two-thirds of Israeli Jews are willing to give up Israel's nuclear weapons in return for Iran giving up its own program, a survey published on Thursday [December 1] claimed. According to the findings released by Saban Center for Middle East Policy, 65% of Israeli Jews preferred if neither Israel nor Iran held nuclear arms, and opted for a nuclear-free Middle East.

Some 71% said they agreed with a definition of Israel as "the homeland of the Jewish people and all its citizens." The survey was published ahead of the Saban Forum that will open in Washington on Thursday and is expected to draw senior American and Israeli officials including US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Opposition chairwoman Tzipi Livni, and Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.

At least 54% of Israeli Jews held a positive view of Obama, while only 39% expressed a negative view. However, 39% of respondents also said they were disappointed with Obama's policy in the Middle East, while 22% said they were encouraged by it and 35% expressed no stance. (By Yitzhak Benhorin, December 1, 2011 -- excerpt)

- Pray that the deeply held desire for peace among most Israelis will be recognized and acknowledged by the international community while not influencing Israel to ignore real dangers or make unwise security decisions.

- "Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry." (Psalm 34:14-15)

5. IRAN AUTHORITIES BEHIND ATTACK ON U.K. EMBASSY

The storming of the British embassy in Tehran earlier this week was not an improvised student protest but an attack planned and supervised by Iranian authorities, sources told the Al-Arabiya News Channel on Thursday. The attack was planned by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khomanei and supervised by the commander of the Basij paramilitary forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqd, the sources said.

Diplomats working at the Iranian embassy in London must have departed Britain by last Friday afternoon. Their expulsion was ordered by Foreign Secretary William Hague after the British embassy in Tehran was stormed. About 120,000 people in the UK hail from Iran, as well as many students. (Haaretz)

- Lord, we have allowed the evil regime of Iran to do anything they want, including attack Western Embassies. We pray that the day of reckoning will come quickly for them. We also pray for Your mercy over the church and the peoples of Iran who are so terribly suppressed by the regime in Iran. Pray also for the USA to stand in support of our ally Britain.

- ". . . you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you fear. For I will surely deliver you , and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me' says the Lord." (Jeremiah 39: 17b, 18)

6. IRANIAN MILITARY OFFICIAL THREATENS NATO MISSILE DEFENSE IN TURKEY

Iran has a new potential target if their nuclear program is attacked: the NATO missile defense system in Turkey. According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said they have prepared and "if any threat is staged against Iran, we will target NATO's missile shield in Turkey and will then attack other targets."

While the NATO efforts are more traditionally thought [of] as serving Europe, Iran claimed they were instead intended to protect Israel. However, the Jewish state already has its own missile defense system, and the United States is cooperating in its ongoing development.

According to the IRGC Aerospace commander, Tehran may be able to rely on the Turks themselves to take down the missile defense shield, if need be. "The Turkish people are aware [of everything], and we are sure that Turkey's Muslims will stop this plot by themselves," Hajizadeh was quoted as saying by Fars, adding, "We are sure that the Muslim people of Turkey will promptly cut these systems into pieces under threatening conditions."

The Iranians routinely make threats, typically warning of retaliation if attacked. Tehran likely has several ways to respond should their nuclear program be hit. The West accuses Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons. In recent weeks, there have been reports of discussions or preparations for military action on Iran if necessary. (By www.themideastupdate.com, November 27, 2011)

- Pray that neither the Iranian military nor Turkish Muslims will make good on these threats. Pray that the Lord will protect all forms of defense in the region against Iranian attack.

- "'And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; and they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and deliver you,' says the LORD. 'I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible.'" (Jeremiah 15:20-21)

7. U.S.: IRAN HAS MISSING STEALTH DRONE

Iran appears to be in possession of one of America's most sophisticated weapons, a super-secret spy plane whose stealth technology is the same as the drone used to monitor the compound during the raid that killed Usama bin Laden, U.S. military sources told Fox News on Monday. Military sources confirmed that the Iranians have the RQ-170 drone, which is so advanced that the U.S. Air Force has not distributed even a photo of it. However, they did not say that the Iranians shot down the spy plane, as was reported by Iran's official IRNA news agency.

IRNA quoted an unidentified Iranian military official saying Sunday that the spy plane was shot down by Iran's armed forces and suffered minor damage.. The official also warned of strong and crushing response to any violations of the country's airspace by American drone aircraft. Earlier, the U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan issued a statement saying the aircraft may have been a drone that operators lost contact with last week while it was flying a mission over neighboring western Afghanistan. A U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the classified nature of the incident, said the U.S. had "absolutely no indication" that the drone was shot down. Read more.

- Pray that this drone is far too sophisticated for the Iranians to understand so that they are unable to copy it and then develop devices to launch it. Ask the Lord to protect the drone or to destroy it by means of fire or trucking accident, whichever the Lord deems necessary. Pray that all drones will be invisible to those enemies that would destroy the USA and/or Israel. Pray against the Russians running to Iran to examine this drone.

- "Chargers are harnessed for the battle, but deliverance comes from the Lord." (Proverbs 21: 31)

8. US SENATE OK's SANCTIONS ON IRAN CENTRAL BANK

The US Senate unanimously approved tougher sanctions against Iran on Thursday, voting to penalize foreign financial institutions that do business with Iran's central bank, the main conduit for its oil revenues. The Senate acted despite warnings from Obama administration officials who said threatening US allies might not be the best way to get their cooperation in action against Iran. Administration officials said they were indeed looking to sanction Iran's central bank, but in a calibrated manner, to avoid roiling oil markets or antagonizing allies.

The United States already bars its own banks from dealing with the Iranian central bank, so US sanctions would operate by dissuading other foreign banks from doing so by threatening to cut them off from the US financial system.

The Senate voted 100-0 for an amendment sponsored by Senator Robert Menendez, a Democrat, and Senator Mark Kirk, a Republican, that would allow the US president to sanction foreign banks found to have carried out a "significant financial transaction with the Central Bank of Iran." The sanctions were approved as an amendment to a huge defense bill that passed later on Thursday in the Senate. Similar provisions have passed a House of Representatives committee, increasing the likelihood that some version will be sent to Obama for his signature into law -- or possible veto.

While the Obama administration steps carefully, some countries in Europe are seeking to push forward a Europe-wide boycott of Iranian crude imports. EU foreign ministers in Brussels failed on Thursday to move forward with a plan backed by France and Britain to ban shipments, but agreed to examine expanding sanctions. Tightening financial sanctions have already complicated Iran's oil trade. Last December, India's central bank scrapped a clearing house system with Iran, forcing refiners to scramble to arrange other means of payment in order to keep shipments flowing. It is unclear whether further sanctions on financial dealings would affect shipments to countries like China, Iran's biggest buyer. (Jerusalem Post) Read more.

- Pray that the voice of reason from Sen. Menendez will be supported by the White House so that the matter of Iran can be contained. Pray also that the regime in Iran will be toppled by the Lord as He best knows how.

- "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him."
(Nahum 1: 7)

9. RUSSIA DELIVERS MISSILES TO SYRIA

Russia has delivered supersonic cruise missiles to Syria despite the violence shaking the Arab country and Israel's furious condemnation of the deal, a news report said on Thursday. "The Yakhont supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles have been delivered to Syria," a military source told the Interfax news agency without disclosing when the shipment was made. Russia signed a contract reportedly worth at least $300 million (222 million euros) in 2007 to supply its traditional Arab world ally with a large shipment of the cruise missiles. (Source: Bill Koenig)

- Russia has been a stern ally of Syria for 40 years or more. Probably oil and other goods of the Middle East are the purposes behind such coziness between Russia and Syria. Ask the Lord to give us prophetic insight into this partnership. The USA also has strategically located warships near Syria. Pray that no conflict is instigated between the warships and Russian weaponry. Ask the Lord to send His Holy Spirit to dissipate the flashing anger that has arisen from this situation and to calm the fears of Israel.

- "You shall seek them [enemies]and not find them - those who contend with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing . . as a non-existent thing."
(Isaiah 41:12)

10. UN CALLS FOR INTERNATIONAL ACTION OVER SYRIA

The United Nations has called on the international community to take action to protect the civilian population in Syria from "ruthless repression" as the country slides into civil war. More than 4,000 people have been killed, including 307 children, in the military crackdown since March. Some 14,000 people are believed to be held in detention, an emergency session of the UN Human Rights Council has been told.

" 'In light of the manifest failure of the Syrian authorities to protect their citizens, the international community needs to take urgent and effective measures to protect the Syrian people," said United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay. "All acts of murder, torture and other forms of violence must be immediately stopped," Ms Pillay added. Also, she voiced concern at reports of increased armed attacks by the opposition forces, including the so-called Free Syrian Army, against the Syrian military and security apparatus. Syrian army deserters killed eight people in an attack on an intelligence building in the north of the country, an opposition group said today.

"The extreme suffering of the population inside and outside Syria must be addressed as a matter of urgency. Victims expect nothing less from the United Nations and its member states," said Mr Pinheiro, a Brazilian expert who headed the three-member panel. A revised EU draft resolution - which emerged after intense negotiations with China, Cuba and Russia - condemns "continued, widespread, systematic and gross violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms". But it stopped short of calling for action by the UN Security Council, which has the powers to refer a country to the ICC. Read more.

- Ask the Holy Spirit to stir up the Christians of Syria, most of whom belong to more orthodox denominations with much attention to ritual. But there is some spiritual fire there also. We applaud the efforts of the UN and the EU to halt the horrendous behavior of the Syrian authorities. But the intervention of God through His intercessors is the power to stop the horrifying behavior, a power that the ruling authorities cannot comprehend and do not expect. Pray that the work of the Lord will set free the Syrian Christians, the Moslems, the Kurds, and many other groups from the oppression of satanic forces working in Syria.

- [For the work of intercession] "Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff." (Isaiah 41:15)

11. REPORTS ON THE EGYPTIAN ELECTIONS

Earlier this week, Egypt held the first round of elections for the new parliament that will be seated next year. My sources told me [Mike Evans] they feared that the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical groups would do well, perhaps even taking a majority of the seats. But the actual results that are being released are far worse for Israel. The radical Islamists-the bitter enemies of Israel-appear to have taken as much as two-thirds of the vote. And this round of elections was held in the more liberal and less religious parts of the country! The vote in the more traditional regions is expected to be even higher.

The peace between Israel and Egypt that has lasted for more than thirty years is in great danger. Leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood speak openly of breaking the peace treaty signed by my dear old friend Prime Minister Begin and Anwar Sadat (who was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood for signing it). A hostile Egypt with its huge military represents yet another grave threat to Israel's survival. (Jerusalem Prayer Team)

Egypt's two main Islamist blocs said they may have won more than 70 percent of votes in parliamentary elections this week that are the first major test of public opinion since the ouster of Hosni Mubarak. The Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party said it won at least 40 percent in the first round of the elections, which took place in one-third of the country's provinces. The more conservative Salafi Al-Nour Party said it got at least 30 percent while the secular Egyptian Bloc said it may have won up to 20 percent of the vote. (Source: Bill Koenig)

- Egyptians are known to extremely dislike the Moslim Brotherhood that is gathering a strangle hold on the country .Do pray for the people of Egypt to keep control of their country and oust the Brotherhood as did Mubarak. Pray for stability to be re-established in Egypt and for the Egyptians to fall on their knees and to cry out to the Lord. The Lord is able to overturn the "victories" of the radical Islamists.

- "And the Lord will strike Egypt. He will strike and heal it; they will return to the Lord, and He will be entreated by them and heal [save] them." (Isaiah 19: 22)

12. THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD AND THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY

The first of a three-stage election process in Egypt [took] place [on November 28] and should culminate next July with the presidential election. However, renewed riots and disturbances have cast doubt on Monday's events, let alone those scheduled to occur in six months' time. Plus, Egypt's military might be interested in delaying the elections, while the Muslim Brotherhood desperately wants them to transpire in order to exploit a historical opportunity to overtake a leading Arab country like Egypt.

In spite of the Muslim Brotherhood's great desire to hold on to this historical opportunity to cease seize power, the organization is quite alarmed by the events in Tahrir Square and may wish to see the Egyptian army restore order prior to making their bid for governmental rule. Of course, once the army re-establishes normalcy on the streets of Cairo, the Muslim Brotherhood risks losing its unique chance to rule.

The news reports of the events in Tahrir Square tell us that the Brotherhood was behind the renewed demonstrations. However, it soon regretted its actions and withdrew from the location that serves as the source of authority for the revolution. The reason was clear: the Brotherhood suspected that the army would exploit the unrest in order to proclaim the impossibility of holding elections at a time of such great disturbance. (Excerpts of an article by The World Jewish Congress, November 28, 2011) Read more.

- Pray that the Lord will intervene in this conflict, restoring order and placing power in the hands of those who are most likely to maintain Egypt's historic peace with Israel and stabilizing influence in the region.

- "Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones."
(Psalm 83:1-3)

13. NASA: BLOOD RED MOON NEXT SATURDAY

On Dec 10th, sky watchers in the western United States will witness a total lunar eclipse swollen to super-sized proportions by the Moon illusion.

To learn more about the timing and the nature of this unique event, you can view a video by NASA here.

- The Word of the Lord also speaks of a blood red moon. Are in that day? Even if not, it is time to stay on the wall, remain on watch, and praise our Lord with all of our strength, for He IS coming soon! Amen.

- And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. " And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. (Joel 2:29-31)

This Week, Worship Our Lord As . . .

KING OF THE NATIONS (Melekh Ha Goyyeem)

"Who should not fear you, King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise leaders of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you." (Jeremiah 10:7)

King of the nations, how I praise Your name, for there is none like You. Others may try to usurp Your kingly reign, but they are fools in Your sight. Thank You that no matter where I am, You are King! Selah . . .
