1. House approves two-week funding measure, putting Congress on track to avert government shutdown - The Washington Post
The House on Tuesday approved a stopgap measure that would keep the federal government funded through March 18 and cut $4 billion in spending by targeting programs that President Obama has already marked for elimination.
The measure, which passed the House on a 335 to 91 vote, now goes to the Senate. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Tuesday that the measure is likely to be approved in the Senate within the next 48 hours. If Congress does not pass a funding resolution by Friday, the federal government would be forced to shut down, but the apparent agreement between the two chambers seems likely to avert that possibility in the short-term.
- God, we ask that You step into this situation as You put a cap on this excessive spending. Overrule the intentions of men, and hold them back so that the government will be brought back to a solid footing. The government of the United States is not in the hands of men, but in the hands of the Lord God Almighty. In Jesus Name.

2. Clinton warns of Iranian efforts to fill ME power vacuum - Jerusalem Post
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Tuesday that Iran was aggressively trying to take advantage of the domestic upheavals across the Arab world, and warned that the United States needed to maintain robust aid and involvement in the region to keep Tehran from succeeding.
- God, guide the United States and its leaders regarding the issues in Iran. You are God over all, and we pray for You to bind all forces of evil and destruction under the blood of Jesus in Iran, and break their influence in world affairs. Release the spirit of truth to prevail over that land. In Jesus Name.

3. Clinton: Mideast Religious Minorities under Threat - NewsMax
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is warning that Christians and other religious minorities are being targeted across the Middle East and need protection as many flee their homes to escape repression.
- Father God, raise up a mighty standard of protection for Christians all across the Middle East. Release myriads of angels over that land who will wage a mighty war on behalf of those who stand for righteousness, holiness and truth. In Jesus Name.

4. Robot Hummingbird Spy Drone Flies for Eight Minutes, Spies on Bad Guys - Fox News
Pentagon researchers have taken robots for a science fiction spin, building a robotic hummingbird that's ideal for covert surveillance.
- Father, we ask that You give intelligence and insight to those in the Pentagon who are building this robotic hummingbird for covert surveillance. Push this program forward so that it stays abreast of what the enemy is doing. Let nothing be hidden, even the deepest of cover be revealed and brought to light. Give knowledge so we can counter their efforts with defeat. In Jesus Name.

5. Earthquakes in Arkansas May Be Man-Made, Experts Warn - Fox News
The sudden swarm of earthquakes in Arkansas -- including the largest quake to hit the state in 35 years -- is very possibly an after effect of natural-gas drilling, experts warn.
- God, curb the tide of guesswork, and let truth be revealed as pertains to the cause of these earthquakes. May the people seek God during these times of distress. In Jesus Name.

6. Moslem Brotherhood sees opportunity in Jordan - Washington Times
With its Friday anti-government rallies here attracting more protesters each week, the Muslim Brotherhood has positioned itself to become a leading player among Jordanian lawmakers if democratic reforms are enacted.
- God, dethrone the forces of Satan as seen in the Muslim Brotherhood. Cast them down in defeat so that they loose their power in the Middle East if they make any attempt to upset democratic reforms. Close them off and bring rest to the land. In Jesus Name.

7. Egypt's Moussa says running for president; adopts harsher tone on Israel - Ynet News
Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa announced on Tuesday that he was running for president of Egypt in elections scheduled for this year.
- Father, allow only Your perfect will to be done in the election of a new president in Egypt. May the church in Egypt be protected by the blood of Jesus and may there be a president who will allow the people to worship the Lord in freedom and truth. In Jesus Name.

8. Libya: US warships enter Suez Canal on way to Libyan waters - UK Telegraph
Two US warships were passing through the Suez Canal on their way to waters off Libya on Wednesday as Western nations exerted diplomatic and military pressure on Muammar Gaddafi to step down.
- God, we thank You for bringing the United States into this conflict for the purpose of bringing peace to the nation of Libya. Take down the wicked and raise up a people who will be in league with God. Draw the hearts of the Libyan people toward serving the right - rather than the wrong. Change this nation by the blood of Jesus and open their blinded eyes to see the Lord. In Jesus Name.

A hardline Muslim cleric who sparked anger across the U.S. with his anti-American comments in a television interview this month is to hold a protest outside the White House.
British extremist Anjem Choudary - who once said 'the flag of Islam will fly over the White House' - has announced he will lead a demonstration calling on Muslims to establish the Sharia law across America. The rally, planned for March 3, is to take place just weeks after his on-screen row with Fox News presenter Sean Hannity.

2. Farrakhan: Jews are pushing the US into war - Jerusalem Post
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said Jews and Zionists are "trying to push the US into war" and are a cover for Satan, at the group's annual meeting near Chicago on Tuesday.
3. FM: Israel won't cede Golan Heights - UPI
Israel is willing to enter into peace negotiations with Syria but giving up the Golan Heights will not be on the table, an Israeli official said.

The collapse in our future
The US Energy Information Administration, the Wall Street Journal, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Labor, FHFA, Standard and Poor, Realty Trac, the Heritage Foundation, The Conference Board, FDIC, the Federal Reserve and the US Treasury have all individually compiled statistics that are not matching up with what the White House is saying is happening to our economy. Jesus said in Matthew 7:16, "Ye shall know them by their fruits." This means that when actions and words do not match, you have to discern reality by the outcome of what is done, not what is being said. And you must be willing to stand and be good stewards of your citizenship.
When you look at the drastic decline in the United States since 2009--a year into the current White House term--you can see the tremendous amount of effort that is either wrong minded or put into destroying an entire way of life in an effort to "remake America." Let's look at the average retail price of a gallon of gasoline. In January 2009, it was $1.83 and now it is $3.10, an amazing 69.6% increase. Now one might say that the White House has no control over the price of fuel, but its foreign policies that support radical change in oil producing nations has an impact. Domestic policies such as not allowing drilling in Alaska and not issuing permits to produce oil off the Gulf coast (under contempt of court, mind you) are telltale.
National debt has increased from $10.6 trillion to $14.1 trillion from January 2009, a 32% increase. This number is an indicator for what happens with the rest of the economy. This is the most debt America has ever accumulated, the most debt of all the presidencies from Washington through Bush combined. There is an intersection of demise that has been reached. That intersection is the inflation of essential commodities and this tremendous debt. It equals poverty and collapse. Think about it. The inflation of several items in the last year is extraordinary: Foodstuffs like soybeans (42%), corn (78%), Sugar (165%) are pricing food out of the range of the common man.
The food stamp recipients have increased 35% since 2009; the number of long term unemployed is up 146%, and America's poverty ranks have increased by 9.5%. What we are being told is a rosy road to recovery is in actuality a narrow path to destruction. And now, this White House is embracing homosexual marriage by not defending the Defense of Marriage Act. Left to our own devices, we are on a course to collapse. We need a revival of the hearts and minds of our countrymen. We need a revolution of God-given common sense as found in the Holy Scriptures. Some will call it judgment for our adultery and idolatry, but look what has been done by the godless men and women we have elected.

Holder In the Hot Seat
Obama Attorney General Eric Holder was in the hot seat yesterday, testifying before a House committee on a host of issues that have drawn national attention. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA), who chairs the committee with jurisdiction over the Justice Department's budget, convened the hearing to force the Obama Administration to answer for its handling of the New Black Panther case, for dropping its defense of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act and for its plans to try foreign enemy combatants in civil courts.
On the New Black Panther case, Rep. John Culberson (R-TX) challenged Holder to respond to the findings of an investigation by the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, which determined that Justice Department lawyers "were encouraged to be aggressive in defending blacks from voter intimidation and other forms of harassment but were discouraged from being as active fighting discrimination against whites." Holder was defiant, and caused further controversy when he referred to "my people" meaning African Americans. The Attorney General should be looking out for all the American people!
On GITMO, Holder reiterated the Obama Administration's intention to close the terrorist detention facility, but had no explanation for how it would accomplish that goal. When asked whether the administration would shut down GITMO before the end 2012, the best Holder could say was "I don't know." The public remains overwhelmingly opposed to having these jihadists brought to America and tried in civilian courts.
When the Defense of Marriage Act came up, Rep. Wolf accused Holder of "abandon[ing] your duty to defend this law." Rep. Steve Austria (R-OH) warned Holder, "If this practice continues, the Legislative Branch will have no choice but to start defending the federal statute itself. I know that there are suggestions that whatever dollars are being used right now by the Department of Justice be moved to whatever area whether it be the Legislative Branch attorneys to defend Congress' statute."
Rep. Wolf and Austria are right. If the Justice Department won't do its job, then its budget should be cut. (Gary Bauer)

Extremist cleric to lead White House protest calling for Moslems to 'rise up and establish Islamic state in America'
A hardline Muslim cleric who sparked anger across the U.S. with his anti-American comments in a television interview this month is to hold a protest outside the White House.
British extremist Anjem Choudary - who once said 'the flag of Islam will fly over the White House' - has announced he will lead a demonstration calling on Muslims to establish the Sharia law across America.
The rally, planned for March 3, is to take place just weeks after his on-screen row with Fox News presenter Sean Hannity.
Mr Choudary, 43, called Americans 'the biggest criminals in the world today.' The former leader of outlawed group Islam4UK told the Daily Star 'we expect thousands to come out and support us.'
Mr Choudary said the March rally was organized by the Islamic Thinkers society.

PRAYER POINTS TO SUPPORT THE INTERCESSORS ON THE GROUND
FOR MOSLEM RALLY MARCH 3RD
As we enter into a corporate prayer response about this event, to take place tomorrow in Lafayette Park, across from the White House, we remind our readers and thank the Lord that, with your prayer support, two similar efforts, called "Islam on the Hill, " fell flat with hardly anyone showing up to support those rallies.
That being said, we thank you all for standing in agreement with the brothers and sisters in the Lord who will be praying in or near this event tomorrow. Thank you!
1. Ask the Lord to FORGIVE Anjem Choudary and his followers, for they know not what they do. May our Lord impact each one with miraculous visions and dreams, leading to salvation, as He has done for so many others in Arab nations in recent years. Praise God!
2. For those men and women of Islam who may join the rally tomorrow, it is written: "The LORD is faithful; He has severed asunder the cords of the wicked."(Psalm 109:4) Pray that their chanting, cursing and "praying" would come to nought, and that their words will fall to the ground and be of no effect.
It is written: "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, let them also that hate Him flee before Him." (Psalm 68:1)
3. Please lift up the intercessors who are the front-line troops in and near Lafayette Park tomorrow.
- Pray that the Lord goes before the intercessors and makes every crooked place straight and that His Glory will be their rearguard.
- Cover the intercessors who who be on the grounds interceding with the Blood of the Lamb.
- Cover the ground where the meeting will be held with the blood of Jesus.
4. If there be any imposters sent to the rally who "look like us" but who are not of us, pray that they be discerned and set aside. Please study Judges 12:6 to see how the Israelites discerned the "shibboleth" (the branch) from the "sibooleth" (the burden; false brethren) -- and the punishment that was meted out as a result!
5. This will prod Americans to educate themselves regarding Islam/Sharia Law and all it entails. As the darkness is revealed,pray that Americans would turn again to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. - . . . they shall know the truth, and the truth shall set them free" (John 8:32)
6. Finally, pray that the media would be prompted to expose the truth about Islam through this, and what Satan meant for evil, God would turn to good for the nation. (Gen. 50:20)
A Warning to Church Leaders
Church Leaders: You Must WARN Your People
(or Answer to God)!
"Son of man, I have made you a WATCHMAN for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them WARNING from Me" (Ezek 3:17)
"Let the priests [and Pastors] . . . Weep between the porch and the altar" (Joel 2:17)
"Then the LORD will be zealous for His land And pity His people." (Joel 2:18)
Commentary:
According to Paul, it is the responsibility of the leaders of The Church to have these kinds of ears and hearts, and to WARN their people about coming judgments.
Church Leaders, you are urged by God to WARN your people that "gross darkness" and devastation is settling in upon the World, this Nation, and the people in your church (Eph 3:10-11; 2 Ptr 1:13; 1 Cor 4:14; Acts 20:31).
. . . the forces behind what is going on in the Middle East, Wisconsin, and the White House have A COMMON GOAL:
"Ending the Western way of life, especially Capitalism and the Constitution."
- If you've been listening to or watching the reports of these "protests", the word "Revolution" is a constant theme;
- According to one prominent American communist revolutionary (Van Jones), "It's about a global revolution."
- They believe that "The time to act is now" - These forces consist of socialists, communists, anarchists, Islamists, labor unions and other radicals worldwide.
Brethren, as the above-referenced quotation from Joel exhorts, it is time for us to AWAKEN and fight back in Prayer and Action. With God on our side, we are the most powerful minority on the face of the earth (Ps 56:9).
- But first, we must Repent, Turn Back to God, and CRY OUT for His Intervention before all is lost;
- God WARNS us NOT TO "LOOK AWAY" from these abominations or He will hold us accountable (Lev 20:4; Prov 24:12; Lam 1:12).
So, I implore you to Awake and Get Involved in this battle to save our God-given civilization before these forces of evil are able to succeed in their goal of destroying it and substituting something very, very evil in its place.

OBSERVED TODAY ON THE WEST LAWN OF THE CAPITOL:
Several dozen protestors gathered on the West Lawn of the Capitol Builidng with signs that read the same words as above: global revolution; revolution; change is now, and so on. This is a "spirit" that is trying to overwhelm our nation, but as the people of God and as intercessors for America, we stand in the gap over this and other demonstrations now erupting across the land.
This is an orchestrated plan by a key group of insiders -- not a spontaneous gathering of those who protest their own current status. Plead the Blood of the Lamb over any event you see covered by the media, and ask our Lord to please show His Hand of mercy upon us. Amen and amen. (CHPP)
Walker, Wisconsin Ranger
Barry Obama has been taking cheap shots at Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker ever since thousands of public employee union activists began protesting at the state capitol in Madison. The protests erupted after Walker proposed a budget that would reform collective bargaining rules and have state government workers contribute a modest amount toward their own pensions and healthcare premiums.
Barry is lashing out because Walker is trying to do in his state what Obama refuses to do at the national level: to get his fiscal house in order by proposing a responsible budget. Addressing governors from around the country at the White House yesterday, Obama criticized Republican governors who are taking their budget crises seriously. No doubt with Walker and Wisconsin in mind, Obama said, "I don't think it does anybody any good when public employees are denigrated or vilified or their rights are infringed upon."
But Walker's no push-over. He promptly released a statement that said:
"I'm sure the president knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I'm sure the president knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.
"Furthermore, I'm sure the president knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.
"I'm sure that Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn't acting like union bosses in saying one thing and doing another."

Rescued Chilean Miners Tour Israel
Give Joyful Shout at Western Wall
The 24 Chilean miners rescued last year from a collapsed mine deep in the earth are enjoying a week-long tour of Israel with their families as guests of the Israeli government.
As reported in Israel National News, on Friday, February 25, just before noon, "visitors to the Western Wall heard a loud sound of joy, which is quite unusual for the holy place of prayer."
The "jubilant cries" were the miners' emotional response to their experience. Interviewed later by INN, the miners were quoted as saying their own rescue reminds them of "the difficult periods in which the Jews were saved from harsh decrees throughout the ages."
"It's something that's very similar," said Samuel Avalos. "If there's anything I can identify with it's the idea of not losing faith, just like the Jewish people. I feel grateful that I can give back in return for everything that was done for me through all the prayers that were said for me and for the rest of the miners." According to the report, during their visit to the Western Wall, the miners said a prayer in which they thanked the Creator for the miracle that had befallen them in returning them from the depths of the earth to the open air. The miners approached the stones of the Western Wall with great excitement, placed notes, and prayed silently for a long period of time."
