1. Ambassador David Friedman Bumps Into Aerosmith's Steven Tyler at Western Wall - Breaking Israel News

U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman immediately went to the Western Wall to pray for President Donald Trump on Monday after the envoy arrived in Israel for the first time in his new post. While there, he happened to bump into Steven Tyler, lead singer of the band Aerosmith, which is set to perform in Tel Aviv on Wednesday.

The two exchanged a few friendly words at the unplanned meeting.

2. Israeli officials: Trump leak 'our worst fears confirmed' - Israel National News

Two Israeli intelligence officials confirmed to the American news website BuzzFeed on Tuesday that Israel had shared specific intelligence with the United States regarding Islamic State (ISIS) plots to smuggle explosive laptops onto planes.

The officials told the website that it appeared that intelligence had been shared with Russia without prior coordination and that this fact was Israel's "worst fears confirmed", according to one of the officers.

"We have an arrangement with America which is unique to the world of intelligence sharing. We do not have this relationship with any other country," the officer, who spoke to BuzzFeed on condition of anonymity, said.

3. Clashes erupt as Palestinians mark 'Nakba' Day - Times of Israel

RAMALLAH, West Bank - Palestinians marching to remember the "catastrophe" of Israel's founding and the dispossession that accompanied the creation of the Jewish state clashed with Israeli forces in the West Bank on Monday, leaving several wounded.

Annual marches are held on May 15 to mark what Palestinians call the "Nakba," or catastrophe in Arabic.

At a checkpoint on the outskirts of Ramallah, dozens of Palestinian youths hurled rocks at Israeli soldiers, who responded with rubber bullets and the foul-smelling riot control spray known as skunk.

4. Abbas: We want a state alongside Israel - Israel National News

Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who is currently visiting India, met on Tuesday with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee, and asked them to support the two-state solution.

On Monday, in a speech at the Center for Islamic Culture in India, Abbas said the following:

"We are striving to implement the two-state solution within the 1967 borders, that is, an independent sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital living in peace alongside the State of Israel."

5. Palestinian hunger strikers to be moved to hospital in central Israel - Israel Hayom

The Israel Prison Service, Health Ministry, Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet security agency are laying the groundwork to move a group of hunger-striking Palestinian security prisoners to a geriatric care facility in Rishon Lezion, a major urban area in central Israel, once their situation requires medical care.

The decision is being taken out of security considerations, as well as the desire to keep the hunger strikers away from other government hospitals.

Israel Hayom has learned that one of the prisoners participating in the hunger strike has already been moved to the medical facilities prepared by the Shin Bet to provide care for the prisoners before they are hospitalized.

6. Israeli Housing and Construction Minister calls for Assad regime's elimination - Jerusalem Online

After photographs were published of crematorium utilized to burn the bodies of Syrian prisoners, Israeli Housing and Construction Minister and Security Cabinet member Yoav Galant said today (Tuesday) that "the time has come to eliminate Syrian President Bashar al-Assad - a despicable murderer who is committing genocide."

"When we finish with the snake's tail, we can go to its head waiting in Tehran," Galant noted at the 2nd International Ground Warfare and Logistics Conference. "If 75 years ago we had the military and defense strength that we have today, history would have been written differently."

The Daily Brief

Please note:
Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

1. White House Shies Away From Acknowledging Western Wall Part of Israel - Breaking Israel News

U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster declined to say whether the U.S. regards the Western Wall as part of Israel during a press conference at the White House Tuesday.

McMaster, who was outlining President Donald Trump's first official overseas trip as commander-in-chief, said questions regarding the location of the Western Wall, which is located in the Old City of Jerusalem, "sound like a policy decision."

McMaster's comments came a day after American and Israeli officials, who were planning Trump's visit, got into a spat regarding the location of the holy site, with a U.S. official-later identified as David Berns, political counselor at the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem-allegedly telling the Israelis the Western Wall "is not in your territory." The Trump administration quickly disavowed the statement, but stopped short of saying the Western Wall belonged to Israel.

- Father, we pray for a consistent message from the Trump administration regarding their official position on Israel, and we pray even more fervently that President Trump would reiterate the Biblical and historical claim of Israel to their land.

- Do not move your neighbor's boundary stone set up by your predecessors in the inheritance you receive in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess. (Deuteronomy 19:14)

2. MAJOR PRAYER ALERT via Jim Bakker: The Lord Told Me President Trump's Life is in Danger-Pray for His Safety - BCN

"Pastors need to address this and have intercessory-I'm not talking about saying, 'In Jesus' name, bless him'-I'm talking about interceding, crying out, even having prayer meetings. I know it's not dignified for some churches, but have the Church cry out. When I'm driving down the road, and I'm by myself, I'll cry out, 'God! Save our president!'" -Jim Bakker.

Jim Bakker said during a recent podcast interview with Charisma Media founder Steve Strang that God told him there will soon be an attempt on President Donald Trump's life, and that Christians need to be crying out in prayer for their president's protection.

During the same podcast interview with Charisma Media founder Steve Strang in which he discussed the 'WannaCry' ransomware attack [as] an end-times event, Jim Bakker shared that he sometimes feels alone in his calls to pray for President Donald Trump.

But another word he received from the Lord has added to his urgency.

"There is going to be an attempt on our president's life very soon," he said. "We need to pray for the protection of our president."

- Father, we come alongside Jim Bakker and pray Your protection would cover President Trump in spirit, soul and body. We pray the enemies of President Trump would continue to exhaust themselves and be proven unworthy of the public trust.

-The wicked talk about killing people, but the words of good people will save them. (Proverbs 12:6)

3. Trump to give 'inspiring' speech on Islam in Saudi Arabia - The Times of Israel

US President Donald Trump will urge unity between the world's major faiths on an ambitious first foreign trip that will take him to Saudi Arabia, the Vatican and Jerusalem, the White House said Tuesday.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster laid out a detailed itinerary for the "historic trip," due to start late this week, and confirmed that Trump would address a gathering of Muslim leaders on his "hopes for a peaceful vision of Islam."

"He will meet and have lunch with leaders of more than 50 Muslim countries, where he will deliver an inspiring, direct speech on the need to confront radical ideology and the president's hopes for a peaceful vision of Islam," McMaster said.

- Father, we pray President Trump will not come into agreement with the lie that Islam "is a religion of peace". Help him be a faithful son, uncompromising, as he represents Your standard around the world.

- You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Psalm 60:4)

4. The media might have revealed more intel than Trump - New York Post

For all the outrage over what President Trump might have told the Russian ambassador last week, aggressive journalism - and ambitious leaks - may have done the worst harm on Tuesday.

Monday's stories on what Trump told his Russian guests noted that he'd given details that might help them figure out how Washington had gotten the intel.

But The New York Times reported Tuesday that Israel was the source.

And then ABC disclosed even more sensitive specifics: An Israeli spy inside ISIS had uncovered the active plot to bring down a US-bound jet with a laptop bomb able to evade airport security.

This info is said to have been provided on condition that Washington not reveal who came up with the goods. And we'd like to hope that the leaks to the Times and ABC are disinformation to obscure the true source.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster insists Trump didn't even know where it came from.

So why did the Times and ABC feel compelled to publicly disclose more details? Maybe the Russians hadn't figured it out - yet now the whole world knows.

ABC went live with info that, by its own admission, places the life of the Israeli spy "at risk." So ISIS knows now - thanks more to the US media than to the president.

- When there are many words, transgression and offense are unavoidable, but he who controls his lips and keeps thoughtful silence is wise. (Proverbs 10:19)

5. Trump presses more countries take back U.S. deportees in immigration success - Washington Times

Between cajoling, threats and actual punishments, Homeland Security has managed to drastically cut the number of countries that habitually refuse to take back immigrants whom the U.S. is trying to deport, officials said Tuesday, notching an early immigration success for President Trump.

The number of recalcitrant countries has dropped from 20 to 12 over the months since the presidential election, and some longtime offenders - including Iraq and Somalia - have earned their way off the naughty list. The list of countries is the shortest this decade.

In many cases, that means criminals who otherwise would have been released onto the streets are now being sent to their home countries.

- Father, we pray You would assist our law enforcement in identifying and removing dangerous foreigners from our nation. Give the Trump administration wisdom as they work to deport these people back to their nations of origin.

- God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, "You must remove the evil person from among you." (1 Corinthians 5:13)

6. BUSTED: FBI Director Received MILLIONS From Clinton Foundation - His Brother's Law Firm Does Clinton's Taxes (Video) - Israpundit

FBI Director James Comey testified under oath at a hearing before Congress, that the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, where she sent and received 'top secret' emails, did not warrant pressing criminal charges against her.

In essence, he said, not only was Hillary not smart enough, or qualified, to know that using an unsecured email server put our nations security at risk, but she was incapable of determining what was top secret material was.

The truth is, that James Comey did not recommend federal charges against Hillary Clinton, in part, because he is connected to the Clinton Foundation through the Swiss bank HSBC.

- Father, we pray for continued exposure of all the cover-ups, self-dealing and graft by our elected and un-elected government employees at every level - national, state and local. May each person who has betrayed the public trust be disciplined, fired and/or prosecuted.

- Jesus told them, "In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people, yet they are called 'friends of the people.' But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. (Luke 22:25-26)

7. President Trump Put Unborn Babies and Poor People Ahead of Abortion by Defunding Intl Planned Parenthood - LifeNews

The Trump administration sent a powerful message to the world yesterday: The principle established in America's founding document, that all men are created with an unalienable Right to Life, would be a determining factor as the U.S. helps with health programs around the world.

Following through on his January memorandum regarding the Mexico City Policy, the administration has declared with its new Promoting Life in Global Health Assistance that abortion will not be an export of the United States in any way.

People in developing countries want help-they want food for their children, they want shelter over their heads, they want to live in a safe environment, they want learning and training so they can take care of, and provide for, their families. When agencies and organizations enter a community, supported by U.S. funds, the people will know that we are not there to kill their children.

The United States is waving a banner worldwide-our health assistance will honor and protect life.

- Thank You, Father, that the leadership of our nation honors life. We pray for the hearts of people to welcome the blessing of children and we pray our government would only pursue life-affirming actions around the world.

- Then he said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. (Luke 9:48)

8. Family of slain DNC staffer Seth Rich blasts detective over report of WikiLeaks link - Fox News

The family of the Democratic National Committee staffer who was gunned down on July 10 on a Washington, D.C., blasted reports that he was a source of emails leaked to WikiLeaks.

Rod Wheeler, a retired Washington homicide detective and Fox News contributor investigating the case on behalf of the Rich family, made the WikiLeaks claim, which was corroborated by a federal investigator who spoke to Fox News.

"My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks." - Rod Wheeler, former DC homicide investigator

In an appearance on Fox News' "Hannity" Tuesday night, Wheeler said a "federal investigator that was involved on the inside of the case" saw Rich's computer and the case file.

- Father, we pray for the Rich family to receive justice and closure as they continue to mourn the loss of their son. We pray this investigation would move forward regardless where the evidence leads.

-The wicked arrogantly hunt down the poor. Let them be caught in the evil they plan for others. (Psalm 10:2)

9. Political Repression on Embassy Row: Erdogan's Men Attack Protesters in D.C. - CNS News

Protesters outside the Turkish ambassador's residence in Washington on Tuesday afternoon were assaulted by men - many wearing dark suits and presumed to be Turkish officials - in scenes that stoked outrage on social media.

In footage shot by VOA Turkish, a gray-haired man with a megaphone is seen being kicked in the face, more than once, while lying on the sidewalk. Moments later he can be seen walking across the camera's field of vision, his face bloodied. Female protestors were also beaten.

The protesters, who included Armenians, Kurds and Yezidis, were demonstrating against Turkey's controversial Islamist president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who met with President Trump at the White House on Tuesday.

- Father, we pray You would deliver the people of Turkey from President Erdogan and his repressive regime and may those who engage in violence on our streets be held accountable.

Pressured from all sides

Headlines that are trending in the news currently are: Trump revealed highly classified info to Russians; Violence, intimidation against Republicans becomes new normal; Clinton launches new "Dark Money" organization; Deep State leaks classified info to Washington Post to smear Trump; If Trump says "Islam is Peace," he can have a travel ban; Trump EO violates First Amendment because honor killings are Islamic; Article of Impeachment; U of Penn Alumni to wear "Denounce Trump" buttons at reunion; Left attacks Miss USA for saying health care not a right; High School assistant principal resigns after cursing at pro-life student activists; and the list goes on and on. It's enough to make your head spin.

People of faith are watching the world turn to darkness before their very eyes. There is a huge bully-fest gang up on the truth. The extreme and radical leftist political spectrum is relentless in making unsubstantiated claims while at the same time calling their opponents names, accusing them of malicious intent, and labeling them as societal outcasts and haters. They are vocal that if you support this issue or that politician, you are not intelligent, not sane, not American, not right, not really a human being, but rather a sub-human. This has gone so far that these activists are unable to recognize any facts except that if you disagree with them you are wrong and deserve no voice in the public square.
This is a historic time for America. Our country is facing a revolution. These people intend on taking freely elected government down by impeding the ability to govern. They seek to replace the Constitutional Republic with a socialist/communistic globalist union of some sort. It is a nation that not only allows babies to be slaughtered in the womb, but celebrates it; a nation that has no gender; a country that has no borders; a nation state where only religions other than Christianity are welcome, even taught in public schools; a nation whose only moral compass is what the loudest shouting people believe it to be. The America of their vision is a far cry from freedom as protected by laws. Revolution is in the air.
The communists believe that they can foment revolution with just three percent of the population. It would appear that more than that percentage are now pressuring from all sides the American way of life. It's not only President Trump who is in a fight to maintain order, it is you and me and our families. We need to arise to awareness of this fact before it is too late. As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed." We need to find ways to engage with society remembering to not get angry or offended, but be persistent in revealing Christ through our mortal bodies. Be encouraged.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Classic Hymns:
JESUS PAID IT ALL

"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow." (Isaiah 1:18)

Lyrics

I hear the Savior say, "Thy strength indeed is small; Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in Me thine all in all."

Refrain

Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I Whereby Thy grace to claim, I'll wash my garments white In the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb.

Refrain

And now complete in Him My robe His righteousness, Close sheltered 'neath His side, I am divinely blest.

Refrain

Lord, now indeed I find Thy power and Thine alone, Can change the leper's spots And melt the heart of stone.

Refrain

When from my dying bed My ransomed soul shall rise, "Jesus died my soul to save," Shall rend the vaulted skies.

Refrain

And when before the throne I stand in Him complete, I'll lay my trophies down All down at Jesus' feet.

Signs and Wonders

A giant lava lamp inside the Earth might be flipping the planet's magnetic field

. . . we know there are two large regions at the top of the core where seismic waves travel more slowly than in surrounding areas. Each region is so large that it would be 100 times taller than Mount Everest if it were on the surface of the planet. These regions, termed large-low-velocity-provinces or more often just "blobs", have a significant impact on the dynamics of the mantle. They also influence how the core cools, which alters the flow in the outer core.

Several particularly destructive earthquakes over recent decades have enabled us to measure a special kind of seismic oscillations that travel along the core-mantle boundary, known as Stoneley modes. Our most recent research on these modes shows that the two blobs on top of the core have a lower density compared to the surrounding material. This suggests that material is actively rising up towards the surface, consistent with other geophysical observations.

These regions might be less dense simply because they are hotter. But an exciting alternative possibility is that the chemical composition of these parts of the mantle cause them to behave like the blobs in a lava lamp. This would mean they heat up and periodically rise towards the surface, before cooling and splashing back down on the core.

Such behaviour would change the way in which heat is extracted from the core's surface over millions of years. And this could explain why the Earth's magnetic field sometimes reverses. The fact that the field has changed so many times in the Earth's history suggests that the internal structure we know today may also have changed.

We know the core is covered with a landscape of mountains and valleys like the Earth's surface. By using more data from Earth oscillations to study this topography, we will be able to produce more detailed maps of the core that will give us a much better understanding of what is going on deep below our feet. Dr. James Dobson Calls President Trump and VP Pence "Defenders of the Church" as They 'Go to Bat' for Imprisoned Pastor Andrew Brunson

(Washington, DC)-[CBN News] The case of Pastor Andrew Brunson, who has been imprisoned in Turkey since October, was brought up not once, not twice, but three times during President Donald Trump's meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tuesday.

An administration official told CBN News that President Trump was the first to bring it up, followed by Vice President Mike Pence.

The official says President Trump then brought up Brunson a third time. "They went to bat for the pastor," the official told CBN News.

Brunson was swept up in a terrorism investigation last fall but was never formally charged.
