1. Netanyahu hopes U.S. will reject U.N. resolution on Palestinian statehood - Reuters

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday he hoped the United States would continue to reject any move towards a U.N. Security Council resolution backing Palestinian statehood.

"A Security Council Resolution to pressure Israel would further harden Palestinian positions and thereby could actually kill the chances of peace for many, many years," he told a meeting of the powerful American-Israel Public Affairs Committee lobbying group.

Netanyahu's speech returned the conference focus to policy after a turn to partisan politics on Monday when Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took to the stage and denounced President Barack Obama, a Democrat. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu to AIPAC: Brussels attack and terror in Israel part of same assault - Jerusalem Post

The terrorists who struck in Brussels, like those who attacked in Paris, San Bernardino, Istanbul, the Ivory Coast and in daily attacks in Israel, have no "resolvable grievances," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday.

"It's not as if we could offer them Brussels, or Istanbul or California, or even the West Bank. That won't satisfy their grievances. Because what they seek is our utter destruction and their total domination," Netanyahu said in a live address from his Jerusalem office to the AIPAC conference in Washington.

The terrorists' basic demand "is that we should simply disappear," he said, adding "that's not going to happen. The only way to defeat these terrorists is to join together and fight them together. That's how we'll defeat terrorism - with political unity and with moral clarity. I think we have that in abundance."

Netanyahu called the series of attacks around the world "one continuous assault on all of us." (Read more)

3. PA 'punishes' Israel by halting imports from six companies - Israel National News

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has decided to "punish" Israel by halting imports to the PA from five major Israeli food production companies, the Ma'an news agency reported Tuesday.

In a statement released after the weekly cabinet meeting, the PA government said the decision was in response to an Israeli ban on products from five Palestinian companies earlier this month.

According to the statement, the Israeli companies whose products will be banned from PA-controlled areas are Tnuva, Strauss, Tara, Soglowek and Tapuzina.

The statement added that the relevant authorities have been instructed "to put the decision into effect after giving Palestinian merchants enough time to sell the products stocked in their stores", according to Ma'an. (Read more)

5. Special Torah Scroll Written for Messiah Completed - Breaking Israel News

Last week, Rabbi Yosef Berger, one of the rabbis in charge of King David's Tomb in Jerusalem's Old City, took an enormous step towards making his year-long dream a reality.

Rabbi Berger's dream was to write a Torah scroll to present to the Messiah upon his arrival. Since David's Tomb, the burial place of the Messiah's ancestor, is located on Mount Zion, Rabbi Berger is uniquely positioned to personally present the Torah to the Messiah.

The Rabbi believes that by writing a Torah scroll which includes all of Israel, and keeping that scroll on Mount Zion, it will fulfill the requirements to usher in the Messiah. (Read more)

1. ISIS has sent 400 fighters to attack Europe, officials say - Fox News

The Islamic State group has trained at least 400 fighters to target Europe in deadly waves of attacks, deploying interlocking terror cells like the ones that struck Brussels and Paris with orders to choose the time, place and method for maximum carnage, officials have told The Associated Press.

The network of agile and semiautonomous cells shows the reach of the extremist group in Europe even as it loses ground in Syria and Iraq. The officials, including European and Iraqi intelligence officials and a French lawmaker who follows the jihadi networks, described camps in Syria, Iraq and possibly the former Soviet bloc where attackers are trained to attack the West. Before being killed in a police raid, the ringleader of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks claimed he had entered Europe in a multinational group of 90 fighters, who scattered "more or less everywhere." 2. Obama Says Climate Change Is a 'Major' Problem, But ISIS 'Not an Existential Threat' - CNS News

"Groups like ISIL can't destroy us, they can't defeat us," President Obama told reporters in Argentina on Wednesday. "They're not an existential threat to us," he said.

A few sentences later, he described climate change as a "major" problem.

On a day when morgues and hospitals in Brussels were still trying to identify the dead and the grievously injured, Americans among them, Obama described the terrorists as "vicious killers and murderers who have perverted one of the world's great religions, and their primary power, in addition to killing lives, is to strike fear in our societies, to disrupt our societies." 3. Arizona Attorney General Brnovich: There Has Been 'Huge Spike' In Money Transfers on Border to Middle East - Breitbart

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R) said that "We've seen a huge spike in money transfers coming from places like Nogales on the border, to Middle Eastern countries" during the Fox Business Network's coverage of the Arizona primary on Tuesday.

Brnovich stated [relevant remarks begin around 2:50] "Arizona is on the frontline, and we have seen consequences of what has happened when we've had an unsecured porous border. I mean, frankly, just 6 months ago there were 6 folks apprehended from Middle Eastern countries, from Pakistan and Afghanistan, at our border. I know when you talk to the ranchers down there, they're concerned because they have found coins from Middle East. We've seen a huge spike in money transfers coming from places like Nogales on the border, to Middle Eastern countries. And so, folks are are worried about it, not only from an economic perspective, but from a national security perspective." (Read more)

- Father, we ask that you confuse the enemy, and scatter them. Wherever the cartels and terrorists are collaborating, we ask that You intervene and all their plans be deleted. In Jesus' name, amen.

U.S. authorities on Wednesday seized a cross-border tunnel that ran the length of four football fields from a restaurant in Mexicali, Mexico, to a newly built house in Calexico, California, following an investigation that netted more than a ton of marijuana and resulted in four arrests.

The tunnel was the 12th completed secret passage that U.S. authorities have discovered along California's border with Mexico since 2006. They have found more than 75 along the entire U.S.-Mexico border in the last five years, mostly in California and Arizona and many of them incomplete. (Read more)

5. GOOD NEWS! North Carolina governor signs controversial transgender bill - CNN

North Carolina's governor on Wednesday signed a controversial bill blocking cities from allowing transgender individuals to use public bathrooms for the sex they identify as -- as well as restricting cities from passing nondiscrimination laws more broadly.

House Bill 2, the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, puts in place a statewide policy that bans individuals from using public bathrooms that do not correspond to their biological sex. The bill also reserves the right to pass nondiscrimination legislation to the state government, saying state laws preempt any local ordinances. (Read more)

- Lord, we rejoice that the governor of North Carolina has signed this bill. However, the left is already planning to take it to court to stop it. We ask that You preserve this law both in the courts and in the lives of the people, protecting our children and women from harm. In Jesus' name, amen.

6. MORE GOOD NEWS! How God Miraculously Spared These Christian Friends During Brussels Attack - Charisma Magazine

(Belgium)-Friends Laura Harper and Laura Billiet were walking into the Brussels airport when they heard an explosion-one of the two that rocked the Belgium capital early Tuesday.

Harper, who confirmed to Charisma News that she is a Christian, told AL.com that prayer was one of her first reactions.

"At first I was a complete coward, hiding under the desk," Harper told AL.com. "I thought maybe they have guns, maybe people are going to start shooting us. We were praying."

Had a friend not stopped for a snack on the way to the airport, the two would have been in the line of fire. "If we had arrived one minute earlier, we would have been right inside, right where it happened," Harper said.

El presidente in all his glory

It was hard to fathom that a US President would have his picture taken in Cuba with the image of Che Guevara prominently displayed behind him. Guevara, a communist murderer and major figure in the Cuban revolution, has become the international symbol for communist revolution. The US "president" took his entire family to Cuba, met with the Cuban regime, and even watched a baseball game with the murderous communist "president" of Cuba, Raul Castro. It was almost as if the US "president" was giddy about mixing with boyhood heroes and legendary figures of his passion. His remarks were more telling, saying: "It is an extraordinary honor to be here today." But there is sadly more to the story.

The US "president" said, "President Castro, the people of Cuba, thank you so much for the warm welcome that I have received, that my family have received, and that our delegation has received. It is an extraordinary honor to be here today...To the government and the people of Cuba, I want to thank you for the kindness that you've shown to me and Michelle, Malia, Sasha, my mother-in-law, Marian." As he spoke, he pointed out differences between Cuba and the US and said, "Despite these differences, on December 17th 2014, President Castro and I announced that the United States and Cuba would begin a process to normalize relations between our countries."

He continued by apologizing for America's foreign policy toward the only bastion of communism left in the Western Hemisphere: "And these changes have been welcomed, even though there are still opponents to these policies. But still, many people on both sides of this debate have asked: Why now? Why now? There is one simple answer: What the United States was doing was not working. We have to have the courage to acknowledge that truth. A policy of isolation designed for the Cold War made little sense in the 21st century...Before 1959, some Americans saw Cuba as something to exploit, ignored poverty, enabled corruption. And since 1959, we've been shadow-boxers in this battle of geopolitics and personalities. I know the history, but I refuse to be trapped by it."

How about the truth that the Castro regime exploited the Cuban people, confiscated their businesses, forced them into poverty, murdered tens of thousands, and is known for its corruption. And somehow, to this US "president," it is America, not Marxist Cuban dictators who are responsible. This is offensive--an American "president" siding with the propaganda and actions of murderous dictators against the people he has taken an oath to defend. 2 Timothy 3:13 says, "But evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." And Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." These verses are in the context of the end times, but they also serve as warnings for our every day life. The height of lies and hypocrisy are found in the remarks and actions of these evil men and seducers.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

PrayerSurgeNow: Calendar of Events

PrayerSurgeNow: Calendar of Events

Saints:

Dai Sup Han has generated an excellent guide to many, very exciting prayer events that have been scheduled throughout this year. There is a link provided for each event, providing more details.

Of particular interest now is the UnitedCry gathering on the Mall in Washington, D.C. to take place on Saturday, April 9th. 40,000 pastors are expected to attend this event, crying out in repentance before our Lord, and asking forgiveness for our sins as a nation.
At the same time, on the West Coast, Lou Engle will be leading an event to call forth an awakening in America, at the site of the original Azusa Street Revival. Intercessors will fly across the nation from assembly to assembly, carrying a TORCH of REVIVAL with them as they connect these two events in prayer. Praise God!
For details of these and other events this year, please go here to find the bulletin released by PrayerSurgeNow. Thank you.

"The Hope of Easter"

Easter (Resurrection Sunday) is fast approaching and I'm comforted by the reminder that our Savior remains as present in our world today as He was when He walked the earth more than 2,000 years ago. This is a wonderful time of year to reflect on the unfailing reality of "God with us" and to rediscover our adoration for the Lord.

Psalm 89 says, "I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations."

In our home, one of our favorite traditions at Easter, after attending services, has been for each family member to reflect and share at least one blessing for which they are especially grateful. It is a time for appreciating each other and most importantly, for appreciating God; often, many of us are brought to tears! These moments always remind us that Jesus has given us everything through his life, death, and resurrection. We have all we need in Him.

Author Ruth Myers writes, "I find that my worship is richer when I offer the Lord praise and thanks for three things: who He is, what He does, and what He gives." At this very moment, what can you say about each of these? I urge you to review often the questions of who God is, what He does, and what He gives. I pray that your answers every day will be a little richer, a little stronger, and a little more powerful in the grip they hold on your heart's affections.

He is Risen Indeed!

Christians in Pakistan on High Alert in Run-Up to Easter

Christians in Pakistan are on high alert in the run-up to Easter following the execution of the man who murdered the reforming Punjab governor Salman Taseer, according to Release International.

Mumtaz Qadri shot Taseer 28 times near his home in Islamabad in 2011 because the governor had spoken out against Pakistan's blasphemy law, saying it was being misused and should be reformed.

After his arrest, Qadri told police he killed Taseer for championing the cause of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman sentenced to death in a blasphemy case that arose out of a personal dispute.

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

THE OLD RUGGED CROSS

"The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Galatians 6:14)

Lyrics

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering and shame; And I love that old cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain.

Refrain

So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world, Has a wondrous attraction for me; For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above To bear it to dark Calvary.

Refrain

In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine, A wondrous beauty I see, For 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died, To pardon and sanctify me.

Refrain

To the old rugged cross I will ever be true; Its shame and reproach gladly bear; Then He'll call me some day to my home far away, Where His glory forever I'll share.

Refrain

Mysterious Bright Spots on Ceres

Last year, NASA's Dawn spacecraft went into orbit around Ceres, a dwarf planet in the asteroid belt. Immediately, researchers were mesmerized by a number of bright spots peppering the planet's charcoal-gray surface. What were they? No one knew, but they hoped that close-up images taken during a low orbit in Feb. 2016 might crack the mystery. Yesterday, those images were released, and here is an example.

This is the largest bright spot on Ceres, located at the center of Occator Crater. Dawn took the picture at point-blank range, just 240 miles (385 kilometers) above the crater's floor. By far the best photo ever taken of a bright spot on Ceres, it reveals a dome criss-crossed by numerous linear features and fractures.

It does not, however, solve the mystery. "The intricate geometry of the crater interior suggests geologic activity in the recent past, but we will need to complete detailed geologic mapping of the crater in order to test multiple hypotheses for its formation," says Ralf Jaumann of the German Aerospace Center. He is a member of the Dawn science team that released the new images at the 47th annual Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in The Woodlands, Texas, on March 22nd.

One idea which is gaining favor is that the bright area might be a crust of salt marking the spot where a briny underground ocean briefly broke through to the surface. If so, Ceres might not be as dry as it looks. Indeed, the density of Ceres suggests that 1/3rd of the mass of the dwarf planet is H2O, and some researchers think Ceres contains more freshwater than Earth itself. Sounds like a mystery worth solving. (SpaceWeather.com)

"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." (Luke 21:25)
