1. Brussels attacks: 'Two brothers' behind Belgium bombings - BBC
Two of the men who carried out attacks in Brussels on Tuesday have been named by Belgian media as the brothers Khalid and Brahim el-Bakraoui.
Broadcaster RBTF quoted a police source as saying Brahim was a suicide bomber at Zaventem airport. Twin explosions there killed about 14 people.
It said Khalid was the suicide bomber at the Maelbeek metro station, where about 20 people died. (Read more)
2. Brussels attacks: 'If I give myself up I'll end up in a cell', airport bomber wrote before blowing himself up - The Telegraph UK
The Brussels bombers are thought to have used an explosive nicknamed "Mother of Satan" that was also used in the July 7 attacks in London in 2005, reports Colin Freeman.
Acetone peroxide can be made from household items like hair bleach and nail polish remover, and has been used in numerous previous terrorist bombs and suicide attacks.
Terrorists particularly like it because it does not contain nitrogen, and therefore can pass through security screening devices that rely on a nitrogenous presence to detect explosives. (Read more)
3. Netanyahu speaks to Belgian PM, offers counterterror help - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday night spoke on the phone with Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel, offering condolences to the families of the victims in the deadly Brussels attacks and Israeli assistance to combat terror.
A series of bombings claimed by the Islamic State group on Tuesday ripped through the Brussels airport and a metro train, killing around 35 people in the latest attack to bring carnage to the heart of Europe.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu told the Belgian premier that terror does not distinguish between countries. (Read more)
4. Major US airports, transit systems ramp up security after Brussels attacks - Fox News
Hours after deadly explosions ripped through the Brussels airport and a subway station in the city on Tuesday, officials in major U.S. cities including New York City and Los Angeles announced they were ramping up security at airports and transit systems.
The New York Police Department is increasing visible presence of officers on the streets and in the subway system across the city's five boroughs.
"We are in a high state of vigilance and readiness," Mayor Bill de Blasio told reporters.
The Port Authority Police Department is stepping up security at the three major airports in the New York City area. It's also employing high visibility anti-terrorist patrols throughout the World Trade Center site and the PATH train system that runs to and from New Jersey. (Read more)
5. EU Foreign Service Statement from Brussels on 3-17: Israel's 'land seizure' threatens peace process - YnetNews
BRUSSELS - A seizure of land by Israel in the West Bank raises questions about its commitment to a two-state solution to end the conflict with the Palestinians, the European Union said in a statement on Thursday.
Echoing remarks this week by Germany, France and the United States he EU's foreign policy service issued a statement criticizing Israel for its appropriation of 579 acres (234 hectares) near Jericho.
"Israel's decision . . . is a further step that risks undermining the viability of a future Palestinian state and therefore calls into question Israel's commitment to a two-state solution," the EU said in a statement. (Read more)
6. EU's Foreign Policy Chief Mogherini overcome by emotion over Brussels attacks - The Telegraph UK
In a news conference in Jordan which Federica Mogherini cut short after tears welled in her eyes, she said Europe and the Middle East should tackle together the radicalisation and violence which brought grief to both parts of the world.
"It's a very sad day for Europe as Europe and its capital are suffering the same pain that this region has known every single day - plagued in Syria, plagued elsewhere," she said in the Jordanian capital Amman. "It is quite clear that the roots of the pain we are suffering around our region are very much the same and that we are united in not only suffering our victims, but also reacting to this acts and preventing radicalization and violence together," Mogherini said.
One of Tuesday's explosions struck a train close to European Union institutions in Brussels.
"You will understand today is a difficult day," Mogherini said at the end of her statement. As Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Joudeh began to speak, Mogherini appeared to fight back tears before shaking her head. "I'm sorry," she said, putting her head briefly on his shoulders and walking off the platform with him. (Read more)
7. World's most wanted: Belgian police hunt bomb maker linked to Paris, Brussels attacks - Fox News
Belgian police were zeroing in on the shadowy bomb maker for the Brussels terror cell believed to be behind Tuesday morning's attacks and the deadly Paris attacks last November, discovering stashes of explosives and rounding up at least one suspect.
Authorities would not confirm that the man in the photo is the Morrocan-born Laachraoui, who is suspected of equipping the terrorists who struck in Paris in November and is suspected of playing a key role in Tuesday's bombings.
Laachraoui, 24, is believed to have built the nail-packed suitcase bombs used in Tuesday's attack at the airport and explosives used in a blast 79 minutes later at a Brussels Metro station.
Overnight raids Tuesday night and Wednesday morning turned up bomb-making materials in a Schaerbeek apartment, including detonators, nails and 15 kilos of acetone peroxide, a highly unstable chemical which is favored by Islamists because it's easy to make. The chemical also was found in the explosives used in the Paris attack. (Read more)
- Father God, we take up the weapons of our warfare, and we undergird those in authority who are now chasing down this suspect with our prayers. Abba Father God, we thank You that You know where this culprit is hiding, and You know how to direct the police to find him. We ask this be done now, in Your Mighty Name, amen and amen.
- "For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open." (Mark 4:22)
8. Is Europe ready to adopt Israel's approach to security? - israel21c.org
Pini Schiff, a former security director at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, told the Associated Press that the attacks in Brussels point to "a colossal failure" of Belgian security and that "the chances are very low" such an attack could have happened in Israel.
Col. (Res.) Eran Lerman of Bar-Ilan University's Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies agrees with that assessment. Although several European countries have started using Israeli security technologies, hardware alone isn't enough, Lerman tells ISRAEL21c.
"There is an impressive body of knowledge in Israel, which is recognized internationally, on how to counter this type of incident by creating multiple rings and envelopes of security around airports," says Lerman, former deputy chief of Israel's National Security Council and senior IDF Military Intelligence division director. (Read more)
- Father we thank You that the Israelis do have this technology in place and are more than willing to share these security procedures with others. We ask that You would move upon the hearts of those in authority in Belgium and elsewhere so that, standing and working together, we can overcome these evil plots and keep our people safe. We ask this in Your name, Holy One, for You are the God who saves us. Amen and amen.
- "Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago." (Isaiah 25:1)

3. Kuwait expels 14 suspected members of Hezbollah - Israel National News
Kuwait has expelled 11 Lebanese and three Iraqis suspected of belonging to Hezbollah, Reuters reported on Monday, citing a Kuwaiti newspaper. The move comes nearly three weeks after Kuwait joined other Gulf Arab states in designating the Lebanon-based Shiite Hezbollah a terrorist organization.
The local Al-Qabas newspaper cited a security source as saying the 14 people had been expelled at the request of the state security service. The Interior Ministry was not immediately available for comment.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) named Hezbollah, an Iranian-allied group that is fighting alongside President Bashar Al-Assad in Syria's civil war, a terrorist group on March 2. The GCC, which groups six Sunni-ruled states - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar - had already imposed sanctions on Hezbollah in 2013. (Read more)
4. Why is Nasrallah speaking in public? - YNET News
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has spoken in public frequently of late. He has delivered a number of speeches and yesterday granted a live interview to the Lebanese TV station Al-Mayadeen. Our many years covering Nasrallah have taught us that he leaves his hiding place to speak for two reasons: He either feels that he owes an explanation to his supporters and the Lebanese people, or he has a fear and wants to dissuade his enemies from realizing that fear.
Currently, Nasrallah owes many explanations to the Lebanese people, especially concerning Hezbollah casualties in the Syrian Civil War, the Arab League's branding of Hezbollah as a terrorist group, and the suspension of Saudi Arabia's $4 billion of aid to Lebanon.
More than 1,300 Hezbollah casualties have angered not only Shi'ite families and Hezbollah supporters, but also the broader Lebanese public. Nasrallah has emphasized that he is the protector of Lebanon, but his critics blame him and his organization for bringing the Syrian Civil War into Lebanese territory. (Read more)
5. Poll: Most Palestinians support return to an armed intifada - Jerusalem Post
Palestinian support for knifing attacks against Israelis has dropped, but a majority of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip continues to support a return to an armed intifada, according to a public opinion poll published on Tuesday.
The poll, conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research last week, interviewed 1,270 adults. It has a margin of error of three percent.
The poll's findings indicate significant changes in attitudes since the second half of 2015. A majority of respondents now back a two-state solution, and support for stabbing attacks has dropped, particularly among West Bank Palestinians.
However, the poll found that a majority of respondents in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip continue to support an armed intifada, believing it would help Palestinians achieve their rights in ways that negotiations could not. (Read more)
6. Hamas stages military exercises to test Gaza readiness - Times of Israel
Hamas staged major military exercises Tuesday to test its readiness in the event of another Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has been ravaged by three wars since 2008.
The exercises involving 1,000 police and emergency services personnel were not meant to be seen as an "announcement of war," said a spokesman for the Islamist movement's interior ministry. For the duration of the exercises, however, a state of emergency was observed in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya, bordering Israel in the north, and Jabaliya farther to the south. (Read more)
7. Ya'alon: Breaking the Silence being investigated for treason -YNET News
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Monday that Breaking the Silence are being investigated for treason after a report on Channel 2 revealed the organization's efforts to obtain classified and sensitive information about the IDF's operational and intelligence capabilities.
Talking to high school students in Kfar Blum, Ya'alon stressed that "I didn't say that we should silence them, I didn't say we should outlaw them. I said we will see if classified military documents were in fact used and whether these documents got to where they shouldn't be. An investigation has been opened and we will see where it leads."
In the defense minister's words, "the report aired on Channel 2 exposed that they also ask the soldiers questions which have nothing to do with morals or what they did in the army, and are asking questions about operational secrets. If they use this secret information outside of the country, or if they distribute this information and these documents outside of the country - this is treason. Even if they keep the information to themselves - it is still treason." (Read more)
8. Defense minister: Leftist group has no right to harm Israel's security - Israel Hayom
The actions of left-wing group Breaking the Silence, recently documented in a Channel 2 report, may amount to treason, according to comments made by Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Monday to students in northern Israel.
In its report, Channel 2 aired a hidden camera recording of what appears to be an effort on the part of Breaking the Silence members to gather classified information from Israeli soldiers. On Friday, Ya'alon instructed the Israel Defense Forces to launch an investigation into the organization.
Breaking the Silence, which collects and presents soldiers' testimonies of alleged IDF human rights violations, has repeatedly come under fire for harshly criticizing and defaming the IDF abroad.
"It was revealed that they are also asking soldiers questions that are unrelated to the character and ethics of their activities," Ya'alon said on Monday. "They are asking soldiers questions about operational secrets. If they use this abroad, that would be treason -- it is serious. And if they are keeping it for themselves, why do they need to know this? Why do they need to know which equipment we use in the air, on land -- to know about operational methods?" (Read more)

1. ISIS takes responsibility for Brussels slaughter - Israel National News
Members of the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the series of bombings in Brussels on Tuesday, in which at least 34 victims were murdered and 186 more were wounded. ISIS took responsibility for the bombings through a news website affiliated with it, as cited by Reuters.
The attack would mark the latest in a series of high-profile attacks on European soil by the jihadist group; last November ISIS launched a series of six coordinated attacks in Paris which left 130 people murdered.
Security forces continue to work to hunt down the suspects involved in Tuesday's attacks. Those attacks included two explosions in the Zaventem Airport, where at least 14 were murdered and some 90 wounded. A ceiling in the airport collapsed in the wake of the explosion, trapping dozens of travelers and complicating efforts to recover victims of the attack.
Just an hour after explosions rocked the airport the Maalbeek metro station in Brussels was hit by an explosion, leaving at least 20 murdered and 60 wounded. The metro bombing took place just a few hundred yards away from the seat of the European Union government. (Read more)
- Abba Father, these radical Islamic terrorists show no mercy toward mankind. We ask that You show no mercy to them for they have sinned against You, Your people and they worship demons. We ask they be apprehended quickly and brought to justice . . . and to salvation by means of a divine encounter with YOu, Abba. We ask this in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

2. Defense Minister: This is World War III - Israel National News
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon (Likud) on Tuesday evening responded to the lethal Islamic State (ISIS) bombings in Brussels earlier in the day that left 34 murdered, and warned that "World War III" is looming.
"Western culture in recent years has been under an indiscriminate and uninhibited radical Islamic terror assault, whose goal is to harm and disrupt the lives of citizens of the free world," Ya'alon said. "The attacks this morning in Brussels and on Saturday in Istanbul are examples of this."
The minister determined that "the war against this terror and the attempts to disrupt the lives of citizens of Western countries obligates us to unify in a fierce, creative and uncompromising fight against its sources, its funders and instigators."
"The way to do that will be by continuing to join arms with the security and intelligence forces of states of the free world, and an understanding that this is World War III against our shared humane values. It's a war and if we don't deal with it with the proper tools, at all levels, it will continue to harm and sow destruction." (Read more)
- Abba Father, we thank You that You are uniting the nations of the world in order that they can join arms and share security and intelligence forces in their fight against radical Islamic jihad -- ISIS. In Your Name we pray, Amen.
- "And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart." (Ecclesiastes 4:12)
3. Brussels attacks: Police hunt Zaventem bombings suspect - BBC
Belgian police have issued a wanted notice for a suspect after bomb attacks at Brussels' main airport and a metro station left more than 30 people dead. The man was seen walking with two other suspects shortly before twin explosions tore through Zaventem airport. Both men died in the attacks after detonating suicide devices, a Belgian prosecutor said.
Anti-terror raids have taken place across Belgium. So-called Islamic State (IS) said it was behind the attacks. An online statement from the group said the locations were "carefully selected" and warned of worse to come for "Crusader states allied against the Islamic State".
The US State Department has urged US citizens of "potential risks" of travelling to Europe. "Terrorist groups continue to plan near-term attacks throughout Europe, targeting sporting events, tourist sites, restaurants and transportation," a statement said. (Read more)

4. At least 9 Americans wounded in Belgium attacks, officials say - Fox News
Officials revealed details Tuesday on at least nine Americans wounded in the deadly explosions at the Brussels airport and a subway station in the city, with one of the victims identified as a U.S. Air Force officer. The unnamed officer and five of his relatives were wounded and "some are critical," a defense official told Fox News. U.S. officials told The Associated Press the officer is a lieutenant colonel.
"Our priority at this time is the safety and well-being of our airmen and their families," Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James told reporters. U.S. European Command said it would not release details of the service member's injuries due to privacy concerns.
Mormon church officials said three missionaries from Utah were seriously injured in the airport attack and have been hospitalized. A fourth wounded missionary is a French woman. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issued a statement Tuesday identifying the three American missionaries as 66-year-old Richard Norby of Lehi, 20-year-old Joseph Empey of Santa Clara and 19-year-old Mason Wells of Sandy. They were near the explosion when it occurred and have been hospitalized. (Read more)

5. Chairman of House Terrorism Subcommittee: 'Our Current Strategy Against ISIS . . . Is a Complete Failure' - CNS News
In the wake of Tuesday's deadly terrorist attack in Brussels, the chairman of the House Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade called the Obama administration's strategy against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) "a complete failure."
"Days after Belgian law enforcement captured alive ISIS terrorist Salah Abdeslam, one of the suspected ringleaders of the deadly Paris attacks, terrorists retaliated in Brussels by launching a series of explosions at the airport and train station. Thirty-four civilians are dead and 170 are injured," Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) said in a statement Tuesday hours after blasts rocked a terminal of the Brussels' airport and its subway system. (Read more)

6. Syria conflict: Russia warns US over truce violations - BBC
Russia says it will unilaterally start using force against those violating the partial truce in Syria, if the US does not agree to joint rules by Tuesday. A Russian general said delays in agreeing the rules were "unacceptable" and proposed holding an urgent meeting. However, the US rejected the call, saying Russia's concerns were already being handled in a constructive manner.
The cessation of hostilities has significantly reduced the violence in Syria since it began on 27 February. However, both the Syrian government and opposition have complained of repeated violations. (Read more)

Enraged North Korean leader gathers forces on the coastline and 'prepares for fifth nuclear test' after South Korea holds biggest ever military parade alongside US troops. As Kim Jong-un places artillery guns and pursuit planes across the North Korean coastline and threatens to "bury his enemies at sea" this week, his uneasy truce with the South looks more precarious than ever.
The secretive regime's supreme commander is apoplectic with rage after South Korea and its US ally held their biggest ever military drill earlier this month, featuring more than 300,000 troops and a newly formed commando unit, "Spartan 3000," which has been trained to take down key army bases in the North. A top Homeland Security official told Border Patrol agents the Obama administration has "no intention of deporting" many of the illegal immigrants caught trying to sneak into the country, ordering instead that they be released so they don't clog up the courts, a leading advocate for agents testified to Congress.
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, said the orders are a new "catch and release" policy, which he said "amounts to amnesty" because it means many illegal immigrants are never asked to leave the country. (Read more)

10. Krauthammer: Obama On An "Ideological Holiday Trip In Cuba While The World Burns" - Real Clear Politics
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Obama gave the terror bombing 51 seconds of his speech today in Havana. I thought the whole story of his presidency and its foreign policy was seen in a split screen. On one side you had the video footage of the attack in Belgium. This is the real world. And on the other side was Obama in a fantasy world he inhabits where Cuba is of some geopolitical significance. . .
This is hair-raising stuff. The Belgians are completely outmanned. The Europeans have no way of tracking and that we are completely in the blind. We don't know what we don't know. That's the real world. Obama calls this time JV team, he pretends it is contained and controlled. It is not. Instead he does this ideological holiday trip in Cuba while the world burns. (Read more)
- Lord God, we thank You that words of truth can still be spoken over the airwaves in our country. We stand in the gap for a president who seems to be asleep at the wheel, and we ask You to do whatever You will to correct this dangerous matter. We ask this in Your name, amen and amen.
- "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)

They call it the narrative
Protesters all over the place. Angry people calling candidates, especially Republican candidates, especially Donald Trump, racists, bigots, hate-mongers, Nazis. It's becoming commonplace. Billionaire communist George Soros's group Moveon.org has admitted it it is funding the protests and will continue to do so. Black Lives Matter, another radical organization bent on overthrowing the US government, is also a participant. In fact, before the election is over, most any and all anarchist, fascist, socialist, and communist organizations are likely to be involved in tagging conservative Republican candidates with those very terms. It's the ultimate projection. But the media would call it shaping the narrative.
Projection in psychological terms is defined as the unconscious transfer of one's own desires or emotions to another person. In the case of politics, it truly is judging others from the content of one's own heart. This is a strategy that has been employed in politics over the ages. As politics has become less and less publicly civil, the haters have come out of the woodwork, accusing everyone else of their very own character. They believe, and it has been proven so in many instances, that if they tell a lie about someone enough times people will begin believing it. Vladimir Lenin said, "A lie told often enough becomes the truth." Hitler's Joseph Goebbels perfected it. A little bit of truth makes even a better lie.
By the election, the anarchists, communists, socialist, progressives, fascists and others working in league with their comrades in the Democratic party will have accused their political adversaries of every sin in the book, hoping that some of the accusations stick. They intend to make it a fact that their political foes are the worst men and women on the planet. How many will believe it? They hope enough will believe it to sway the election into the very hands of the accusers. Remember, Communist Party USA has endorsed the past several Democratic presidential candidates, and has written very good things about both the Democratic candidates running for president.
Jesus gave us a pretty good counter-narrative in the Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 7:15-20, He said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." He also said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." So when you hear the "narrative," discern wisely.

Islam the Trojan Horse of Appeasement
The Brussels terrorist attack is the product of politicians' utopian ideas clashing with reality. They are so busy trying to prove that Islam is a "religion of peace" and that just a few radicals are responsible for terrorist attacks, that they fail to protect against the reality--that Islam is responsible for terrorist attacks. There is one clear message: Welcome Islam in appeasement and you welcome terrorism. Wherever Islam is, innocent men, women, and children are butchered by barbarians armed with the same Koranic-inspired message since the days of Mohammad--that Christians and Jews should be killed and terror should be used against those who do not believe in allah and his prophet Mohammad.
Need proof? Here are a few verses from the Koran. They are not taken out of context: Sura 9:5 "...slay the infidels wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush." Sura 8:12 says, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes." Sura 4:55 says, "Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise." These are just three of many.
Dutch Party For Freedom leader and activist to exposing Islam, Geert Wilders, told Breitbart, "I fear that we ain't seen nothing yet. According to Europol 3,000 to 5,000 European jihadists, who went to Syria to fight in the ranks of IS and similar terrorist groups, have meanwhile returned to Western Europe. Some of them hid among the hundreds of thousands of Islamic asylum seekers that entered Europe from Asia and Africa. Two of last November's terrorist in Paris had fought in Syria. So had the terrorist who, last August, attempted to attack the high speed train between Amsterdam and Paris. So had the two terrorists who, in January 2015, massacred the editorial staff of Charlie Hebdo. So had the terrorist who, in May 2014, shot four people at the Jewish Museum in Brussels."
Wilders' words should be etched in the minds of every father and mother in America--that those who fought in Syria were relocating and hiding among immigrants streaming into Europe. The US "president" is allowing hundreds of thousands of "Islamic immigrants" into America. Among them are and will be terrorists. Jesus said in John 10:12, 13, "But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep." The hirelings in America are the politicians who do not care for the sheep and allow the thief to steal, kill and destroy. They are the ones who embrace Islam as a religion of peace, the Trojan Horse of appeasement. We need good shepherds.

ISIS Attacks Brussels

ISIS Attacks Brussels
Once again, jihadists have struck in the heart of Europe, this time in Brussels, Belgium. Reports indicate that at least 30 people were killed and more than 180 were wounded after coordinated attacks at an airport and subway station. ISIS has taken credit for the attack.
The Brussels attack follows a bombing over the weekend in Istanbul, Turkey, in which a suicide bomber stalked a group of Israelis. He blew himself up as they were leaving a restaurant, killing four people, including two Americans.
Brussels is the headquarters of NATO. The subway bombing occurred at the station that serves the European parliament. This attack targeted the heart of the European experiment in open borders and multiculturalism.
Paris. San Bernardino. Istanbul. Brussels. Thanks to radical Islam, the ripped flesh and broken bodies of the innocent is becoming the new normal.
Around the world, an increasing number of nations are subjected to organized attacks planned and executed by the soldiers of ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah, along with increasing numbers of so-called "lone wolf" attacks here in the United States.
While the radical Islamists are solely responsible for the carnage, the flaccid policies of multiple governments, including our own, are making the danger far worse.

For decades now, Europeans have attempted to create a world that does not exist, and their citizens are dying as a result. That world is essentially defined as a continent in which nation-states no longer matter, and borders are seen as an impediment to the free flow of goods and people.
It is a nice theory, as long as everybody ignores reality. Some borders run along the old and reemerging Russian empire. Others are near the boiling cauldron of North Africa and the Middle East. The free flow of goods and people has allowed an invading army of unknown size to embed itself in every major European city.
In spite of the growing stack of corpses, political parties in Europe that say the obvious -- you can't have open borders when you are at war with barbarians-- are labeled as "fascist" and ostracized by elite opinion. In the United States, any politician who dares to suggest that our borders be secured risks similar scorn. (Gary Bauer)

FRC Experts To Attend Supreme Court Arguments in Support
of the Little Sisters of the Poor
Today, the Director of FRC's Center for Human Dignity, Arina Grossu, will be speaking at the Women Speak for Themselves "Let Them Serve" rally in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. Family Research Council attorneys Cathy Ruse, Senior Legal Fellow and former chief counsel to the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, and Travis Weber, Director of the Center for Religious Liberty, will be inside the courtroom to hear oral arguments in Zubik v. Burwell. This case includes the Little Sisters of the Poor and other challengers to the HHS Mandate such as the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Washington, Priests for Life, and multiple Christian universities.
The question in this case is whether the HHS contraceptive-coverage mandate and its so-called "accommodation" violate the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1993, by forcing religious nonprofits to act in violation of their sincerely held religious beliefs, when the government has not proven that this compulsion is the least restrictive means of advancing any compelling interest.
Under the mandate, non-profit employers still remain the legal gateway for such objectionable services as potentially abortion-causing drugs for their employees through the employer's health insurance company. These religious non-profits do not want to be forced to be complicit by providing contraceptives, sterilization, and drugs and devices that can kill an embryo. (Read more)

The Supreme Court made a huge decision on legal marijuana
The Supreme Court's decision to toss out a lawsuit that could have brought Colorado's legal marijuana boom to a screeching halt hasn't deterred opponents of the national legalization effort.
Already, the plaintiffs and their supporters are looking to regroup.
"The Court's decision does not bar additional challenges to Colorado's scheme in federal district court," Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson said in a statement.
But by a 6-2 majority, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case, without comment.
In a statement, Peterson's office said it would work with Oklahoma and other states "to determine the best next steps toward vindicating the rule of law."
. . . Legalization advocates say that while the decision most likely won't have any big practical effects in the near term, it does send a signal to other states mulling their own marijuana policy in the coming years. "The Supreme Court's rejection of this misguided effort to undo cautious and effective state-level regulation of marijuana is excellent news for the many other states looking to adopt similar reforms in 2016 and beyond," said Tamar Todd, director of the office of legal affairs at the Drug Policy Alliance, in a statement. Israel Takes Center Stage

Israel Takes Center Stage
After suffering through Hillary Clinton's speech yesterday morning, I watched Senator Ted Cruz and Donald Trump address the 18,000 attendees at the annual AIPAC conference. Both speeches were extraordinarily good. The heavily Democrat audience rose to its feet for multiple standing ovations.
I believe the United States and Israel are the two pillars of Western Civilization, and must stand together in this daily onslaught from radical Islam. I believe both candidates helped themselves with their speeches, but there was a fundamental difference between them.
What Cruz said yesterday was completely consistent with what he has said about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. It was consistent with what he has been saying about Iran and the dangers of radical Islam.
While Trump has been aggressive on radical Islam, his rhetoric yesterday was not consistent with past statements that he intends to be neutral in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Mr. Trump says he wants to oversee a breakthrough deal.
Presidents from both parties have frequently thought they could do what no other president could do in the Middle East. But such hubris has repeatedly been blown up by men who worship death and have no desire to read "The Art of the Deal."
If the stronger position Mr. Trump articulated yesterday represents a new understanding, that is good news. Pro-Israel voters who believe in the U.S./Israel alliance will have to decide whether the Trump who spoke last night is the real Donald Trump or if the one who says he we will be a neutral mediator is the real Donald Trump.
As for me, I know that what Ted Cruz said last night is what he believes and what he would do. (Gary Bauer)

Lawyers Denied Access to Christian Pastor Imprisoned in China
(Guiyang, Guizhou-March 21, 2016) The lawyers of an arrested house church pastor in China's southern Guizhou province were denied a meeting with their client on March 8 despite following the procedures to obtain government approval.
Chen Jiangang and Zhao Yonglin, two lawyers hired by the wife of Yang Hua, a pastor of Huoshi Church currently serving jail time for "divulging state secrets," went to the Nanming District Detention Center on March 7 in order to request a meeting with their client. When they arrived, the authorities informed them that they must fill out an application and wait for government approval. On March 8, officials denied their request. (China Aid) Read more.

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:
REDEEMED, HOW I LOVE TO PROCLAIM IT!
"Those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those He gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south." (Psalm 107:2)
Lyrics
Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; Redeemed through His infinite mercy, His child and forever I am.
Refrain
Redeemed, redeemed,
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed, redeemed,
His child and forever I am.
Redeemed, and so happy in Jesus, No language my rapture can tell; I know that the light of His presence With me doth continually dwell.
Refrain
I think of my blessèd Redeemer, I think of Him all the day long: I sing, for I cannot be silent; His love is the theme of my song.
Refrain
I know there's a crown that is waiting, In yonder bright mansion for me, And soon, with the spirits made perfect, At home with the Lord I shall be.

OKLAHOMA CITY - The total number of earthquakes across Oklahoma has increased 23 percent from this time last year, though most of the quakes are very small according to USGS data.
Oklahoma started the year slowly for the total number of quakes, though now has seen a large jump in the number of quakes registering 1.9 magnitude or smaller, year-to-date.
So far in 2016, the state has seen 142 of the very small quakes. At this time in 2015, the state registered 16. Overall, 2016 has had a total of 825 quakes compared to 2015's 671.
But 2016 has seen more large, damaging types of quakes, including a 5.1 magnitude quake, the state's third largest on record. (Fox News; Oklahoma City) Read more.

Idaho Passes Bill Mandating Abortionists Tell Women about Free Ultrasounds
A bill that would make Idaho the 25th state to enact an ultrasound bill measure is now on its way to Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter.
With only Democrats voting nay, the Idaho Senate yesterday voted 28-7 in favor of HB 516.
"If approved, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare would compile a list of providers that offer free ultrasounds for women seeking abortions," the Associated Press reported. "The list would be part of the informed consent brochures abortion providers are required to distribute."
To critics who argued the measure restricts "choice," Bill sponsor state Sen. Sheryl Nuxoll said HB 516 "does not limit choice. It just enhances choice. Ultrasounds are truly a window to the womb." (LifeSiteNews) Read more here.
