1. Judicial Watch: Intel Memo Strikes 'Devastating Blow' to 'Mueller Investigation'
Contrary to the claims of House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.), the intelligence memo released today by the House Intelligence Committee strikes a "really devastating blow" at the "Mueller investigation" of alleged Trump-Russia collusion, said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. He added that "the whole thing is subject to being called off now." (Read more)
2. DOJ/FBI Kept Clinton & DNC Funding of Dossier Hidden in Application to Spy on U.S. Citizen
The intelligence memo released today by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee reveals that when the FBI applied for a warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, the FBI used an anti-Trump dossier paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), but the FBI did not tell the FISA court that the material was paid for by Clinton and the DNC.
Apparently, all the political funding and political background was kept hidden from the court.
Further, the application for the FISA warrant did not mention that the FBI had also authorized payment to the man, Christopher Steele, who compiled the dossier or that Steele "was desperate" to stop Trump from being elected president. Nor did the FISA appplication mention that Steele had briefed Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr on his activities and that Ohr's wife was doing opposition research on Trump for Fusion GPS, which was being paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign, which were also paying Steele. 3. Rep. Gaetz: Memo 'Absolutely Proves the Mueller Investigation Is Built on a Rotten Foundation'
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) told Fox News Wednesday night he believes the information contained in the Republicans' now-famous secret memo "absolutely proves that the Mueller investigation is built on a rotten foundation -- that the entire Mueller probe is a fiction and it never should have been started in the first place but for bad acts.
"And so that's my view, and I would suspet that most of the American people would hold that view once they read the memo." (Read more)
4. Obama DOJ Wouldn't Have Sought FISA Warrant on Trump Advisor Without Clinton-Campaign-Funded Dossier
Then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe testified in the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in December that the Obama Administration Justice Department would not have sought a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to put surveillance on volunteer Trump campaign advisor Carter Page without a dossier that had been funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, according to a memorandum released by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
The application for the FISA warrant did not inform the FISA court that approved the warrant that the DNC and Clinton campaign had been involved in financing the dossier that provided information used in the application. (Read more)
5. Trump on Whether He Has Confidence in Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein: 'You Figure That One Out'
When asked Friday whether he has confidence in Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein following the release of the Republicans' House Intelligence Committee memo on the FBI's Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant application to conduct surveillance on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, President Donald Trump said, "You figure that one out." Our Prayer:
Father God, we thank You for this hour in our nation's history. We ask for calm to prevail among our people as more and more evidence continues to come to light of the corrupt practices undertaken by the former administration. We ask for justice to rule in our land, in Your name, amen.
"These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates." (Zechariah 7:10)

1. Hamas says war with Israel is only days away - World Israel News
Al Hayat, an Arabic-language London-based newspaper, reported Sunday that the leaders of Hamas in the Gaza Strip are calculating that the chances of war with Israel are "at 95 percent" and assume it could erupt within days.
The paper further said that the military wing of Hamas has declared a state of the highest alert, evacuating its headquarters and various sites in the Strip, such as the border areas, and spreading its armed forces in civilian areas for fear of an Israeli attack. Other Gaza terror groups, including Islamic Jihad, were reportedly preparing in a similar manner. (Read more)
- Abba, we send this to Your throne. We ask that You would give wisdom and discernment to the IDF and all leaders of Israel. We pray for protection over all of Israel and ask that You send warring angels to protect and battle against all attacks and threats of attack of the enemy. In the name of Yeshua we pray, amen.
2. For Second Night in a Row, Israeli Air Force Attacks Hamas Targets in Gaza in Response to Rocket Fire - Haaretz
The Israeli air force hit late Friday night two Hamas targets in Gaza in response to rocket fire at Israel. A rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel on Friday evening, marking the second such incident in 24 hours. Rocket sirens sounded in the northern Negev, in the Shaar Hanegev regional council near the Gaza border at around 9:40 P.M.
The army said in a statement after midnight Friday that air force planes hit "terror targets belonging to Hamas" in the southern part of the Strip. They said the two targets were part of a military facility. During the fighter jets' sortie, a rocket alarm was triggered, apparently by mistake and the army said it was looking into the cause of what was most likely a false alarm. (Read more)
3. Israel begins handing out deportation notices to African migrants - Times of Israel
Israel's Population and Immigration Authority on Sunday began serving deportation notices to Eritrean and Sudanese migrants and asylum seekers, telling them that they would be sent to an unnamed African country that enjoys a relatively "stable government."
"This is a country that has developed tremendously over the last decade and has absorbed thousands of returning residents as well as migrants from various African countries," read the deportation notice, issued to hundreds of migrants as they stood in line at the Interior Ministry offices in Bnei Brak to renews their visas on Sunday.
"In recent years, this country has shown the highest economic growth figures in Africa, thanks to exports from the US and Europe, as well as a flourishing tourism industry," the immigration authority notice read. "In this country, there is a stable government that encourages development in many areas, including medicine, education, medicine and infrastructure." (Read more)
4. Palestinian Authority preparing to 'disengage' from Israel - Israel National News
The Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) top leadership on Saturday ordered preparations for disengagement from Israel. Withdrawing the PLO's 1988 recognition would threaten decades of Israeli relations with the Palestinian leadership and raise doubts over ongoing security coordination between the two. It would also be seen as a fatal blow to the two-state solution, already on life support following the White House's December recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The PLO's Executive Committee released a statement after a three-hour meeting Saturday saying it would set up a committee to study the derecognition move. The organization's top body was meeting for the first time since the Palestinian Central Council, another arm of the PLO, called for the step last month. (Read more)
5. Shin Bet Chief: Israel Thwarts Hacking Attacks From All Over World - United with Israel
Israel has foiled numerous foreign-originated cyber attacks in the past year, Nadav Argaman - the head of Israel's Shin Bet security agency - said on Tuesday. In remarks given at the Cybertech 2018 TLV conference, Argaman declared, "The State of Israel is one of the leading cyber powers in the world. We, as an organization, have very significant cyber capabilities," Argaman noted. "Cyber is a main tool for us in our work of thwarting terrorism."
Argaman said at the Cyber Week 2017 conference at Tel Aviv University in June that his agency and other Israeli intelligence agencies use technological capabilities to prevent terrorist attacks. (Read more)
6. Israel Opposes Polish Draft Law: "Holocaust Cannot Be Denied" - Bridges for Peace
A draft law approved by the lower Polish parliament that would make it a crime to say Poles participated in the crimes of the Holocaust caused outrage in Israel, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying that he is "strongly opposed" to the legislation. According to a report by The Guardian, the bill still must be approved by the Polish senate and President Andrzej Duda before it becomes law. In its current version, it would make phrases such as "Polish death camps" punishable by Poland-which was occupied by the Nazis during the Holocaust-was only on the right side in World War II.
"The law is baseless; I strongly oppose it," said Netanyahu on Saturday in comments released by his office. "One cannot change history and the Holocaust cannot be denied." The Israeli leader's stern comments were made on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Guardian reported that the Polish law passed the lower legislative branch the day before. (Read more)
- Pray for truth to always prevail over theories that clutter our common sense and distort the facts of history. Pray for the legal teams who will have the difficult task of accurately interpreting this new law regarding Polish involvement in the Holocaust. Give thanks for Yad Vashem that preserves the dreadful truth about the horrific killing of the Jewish people in the Holocaust.

1. A Never-Trump Press in Near Panic - CNSNews.com
"All the News That's Fit to Print" proclaims the masthead of The New York Times. "Democracy Dies in Darkness," echoes The Washington Post. "The people have a right to know," the professors at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism hammered into us in 1962. "Trust the people," we were admonished.
Explain then this hysteria, this panic in the press over the release of a four-page memo detailing one congressional committee's rendering of how Trump-hate spawned an FBI investigation of Republican candidate and President Donald Trump.
What is the press corps afraid of? For it has not ceased keening and caterwauling that this memo must not see the light of day.
Do the media not trust the people? Can Americans not handle the truth? (Read more)
- O righteous Father, reveal to the world the rulership of the underworld shadow government which has control of the press and what is allowed to be printed for the public to read. This group bows to the power of satan which instills hate as its strong thrust. But God is the author of truth and peace and love. It is He that will search out the evil and bring it to the light so the world will know the deception that is printed by the underpinnings of the shadow government. We plead the Name of Jesus over this situation and lay all this at the feet of the Lord to pull down the lies of satan that is in print. We pray in Jesus' Name and trust You for victory.
- "Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth: of He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come." (John 16:13)
2. UPS, Lowe's, Cigna, Thermo Fisher Scientific Announce Pay Raises, Bonuses Due to Trump's Tax Cut Plan - CNSNews.com
Four more companies have announced they are giving out bonuses, pay raises and making investments because of the president's tax cut plan.
UPS announced Thursday that it is making "more than $12 billion in investments to expand the company's Smart Logistics Network, significantly increase pension funding, and position the company to further enhance shareowner value," and the decision is "an outgrowth of the opportunity for tax savings create by the Tax and Jobs Act." "We will increase network investments and accelerate pension funding to strengthen the company for the long term, so that we maximize the benefit to our global customers, employees and shareowners," UPS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David Abney said in a statement on the company's website.
"We applaud President Trump and Congress for their bold action to improve the U.S. economy," Abney continued. "Our investments will create new jobs, secure existing jobs and expand opportunities for our people. We are committed to remaining a preferred employer by continuing to provide industry-leading compensation and excellent career opportunities." (Read more)
- Father, we thank You for President Trump and the Congressmen who supported the Tax Cut Plan. We thank You for the companies that are sharing these new funds with their employees. May Your blessings fall upon each one. We pray more employers will follow their lead and will share their own increase with their employees too. Amen.
- "Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ." (Colossians 4:1-3a)
3. VP Pence on Pelosi Calling $1,000 Bonuses 'Crumbs': 'You Live in a Different World Than I Live in' - CNSNews.com
Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday derided House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for dismissing the $1000 bonuses that various companies are giving to their employees as a result of the president's tax cut reform plan as "crumbs." Speaking to lawmakers at the GOP congressional retreat last night, Pence said, "I heard Nancy Pelosi-before the tax cut was voted on, Nancy Pelosi predicted economic "Armageddon." Remember that one? Well, that wasn't the worst of it.
"It's just amazing to me that after this tax cut passes, 3 million Americans get another thousand dollars in their pockets, in many cases. She actually described that as 'crumbs,'" Pence said.
"Okay, so if you're going to say $1,000 is crumbs, you live in a different world than I live in," he said. "I mean, I promise you. I hadn't done that math. No, I tell you, another thousand dollars - back when our kids were little, another thousand dollars in my pocket at the end of the year, I had a term for that: Christmas. Am I right? Or maybe a little something extra for Mrs. Pence under the tree or maybe a new refrigerator, a down payment on a car, or - this is big stuff. "I mean, the truth is, any leader in America that would say $1,000 in the pockets of working families is crumbs is out of touch with the American people," Pence said. (Read more)

4. AG Sessions Announces 45-Day 'Surge' Against Over-Prescribing Doctors, Pharmacies - CNSNews.com
Sessions announced an immediate crackdown on those who prescribe and dispense "unusual" amounts of opioid drugs: Now I am announcing today that, over the next 45 days, DEA will surge Special Agents, Diversion Investigators, and Intelligence Research Specialists to focus on pharmacies and prescribers who are dispensing unusual or disproportionate amounts of drugs.
Sessions said the country is in the middle of its deadliest drug crisis ever, with an estimated 64,000 people dying because of drugs in 2016. "That's roughly the population of Bowling Green dead in one year," Sessions said. " And in 2017 it appears that the death toll was even higher." Sessions noted that drug overdoses are now the leading cause of death for Americans under the age of 50, while millions of Americans are struggling with addiction.
Last August, Sessions announced the creation of a new data analytics program called the Opioid Fraud and Abuse Detection Unit, which uses data to identify and prosecute individuals who are contributing to the opioid epidemic. It shows who is prescribing the most drugs, who is dispensing the most drugs, and whose patients are dying of overdoses. "The numbers don't lie, even if the fraudsters do. And now the fraudsters can't hide," Sessions said.
President Donald Trump briefly mentioned the opioid epidemic in his State of the Union Address Tuesday night, saying: "We must get much tougher on drug dealers and pushers if we are going to succeed in stopping this scourge. "My administration is committed to fighting the drug epidemic and helping get treatment for those in need. The struggle will be long and difficult - but, as Americans always do, we will prevail." (Read more)
- Lord, too many of Your children are addicted to opioid and other drugs. We witness too many deaths due to drugs, and too much money being made by the distributors. Lord, we ask You to remove the covers hiding the doctors, pharmacies and dealers who are over prescribing and distributing drugs that keep people addicted. Forgive them for they know not what they do. By Your power free all who have been mislead to addiction by evil and let them find You for salvation. Give Your angels charge over the agents working to defeat harmful drug distribution. Keep these warriors safe in bringing down the drug cartels. Lead them in Your ways to defeat the enemy. Thank You, Father, amen.

5. U.S. officials: Assad producing new kinds of chemical weapons - Israel National News
"The Trump administration on Thursday accused Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad's government of producing and using 'new kinds of weapons' to deliver deadly chemicals despite committing to abolish its chemical weapons program in 2013, reports The Associated Press. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has in the past determined that civilians in Syria may have been exposed to chemicals even after the Syrian government agreed to the 2013 deal, brokered by the U.S. and Russia, to surrender its chemical weapons.
President Donald Trump has not ruled out additional military action to deter attacks or punish Assad over chemical weapons attacks, administration officials said, although they did not suggest any action was imminent. In April of 2017, Trump ordered an attack on a Syrian airbase after a chemical attack blamed on the Syrian regime in Khan Sheikhun. The Syrian regime denies having any connection to that attack and, in general, to any chemical weapons attacks that have occurred in Syria since the start of the civil war there.
American officials emphasized on Thursday that the United States was seeking a new way to hold chemical weapons-users accountable and wanted cooperation from Russia, Assad's patron, in pressuring him to end the attacks. (Read more)
- Almighty God, You are in full control of the world. We cry out to God and Your amazing power to overtake the enemy that is operating in Assad and other world leaders involved in chemical weapons that have been prohibited by the OPCW. Raise up your hands and declare, "Enough is enough," and there be no more production of these new kinds of deadly chemicals. We pray in the powerful Name of Jesus.
- "Trust in the Lord forever; for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: For He brings down them that dwell on high; the lofty ciy, He lays it low; He lays it low, even to the ground; He brings it even to the dust." (Isaiah 26:4-5)
6. Refugee Admissions Dropped 70% in Trump's First Year - CNSNews.com
The number of refugees admitted to the United States during President Donald Trump's first full year in office was down 70 percent from President Barack Obama's last full year in office, according to the State Department's Refugee Processing database.
In Obama's last full year, the United States admitted 98,898 refugees. In Trump's first full year, the United States admitted only 29,620-a decline of 69,278. Between Oct. 1, 2017 and Jan. 31, 2018, the Trump State Department admitted 6,708 refugees from 43 countries, with the largest contingents coming from Bhutan (1,792), Democratic Republic of Congo (1,422), Burma (794) and Ukraine (779).
During the same period one year earlier, the Obama State Department resettled a total of 32,448 refugees from 67 countries, with the biggest groups originating from DRC (5,833), Syria (4,884), Iraq (4,841) and Somalia (4,034) (Read more)
- Almighty God, how thankful we are for Your guidance in leading President Trump to curtail the immigrants from enemy nations coming into the United States. Praise the Name of God. We pray Your hand continuously be upon our President to hear Your voice and be strong and determined to follow God in all his decisions made in behalf of our great country. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "Lord, You will ordain peace for us: for you also have wrought all our works in us. O Lord our God, other lords beside You have had dominion over us: but by You only will we make mention of Your Name." (Isaiah 26:12-13)
7. President Trump Grants 7,000 Syria Refugees the Right to Stay in U.S. - CBN
"After carefully considering conditions on the ground, I have determined that it is necessary to extend the Temporary Protected Status designation for Syria," said Secretary Nielsen.
The decision marks the first full embrace of the Temporary Protected Status program by the Trump Administration. Still, immigration rights activists said President Trump should have been more generous and expanded the window to new Syrians who've managed to reach the US since 2016. "It is clear that the conditions upon which Syria's designation was based continue to exist, therefore an extension is warranted under the statute," she said. (Read more)
- Thank you, Lord for providing refuge to these 7.000 Syrians whose country has been devastated by war. We pray they have an easy time acclimating in our country.
- He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)
8. Trump Administration Relentless in Fighting Mideast Terror: Designates Hamas Leader as "Global Terrorist" - JNS.org
In announcing the move, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson emphasized that "these designations target key terrorist groups and leaders-including two sponsored and directed by Iran-who are threatening the stability of the Middle East, undermining the peace process, and attacking our allies Egypt and Israel. Today's actions are an important step in denying them the resources they need to plan and carry out their terrorist activities."
According to the State Department, Haniyeh, who serves as president of Hamas's "political bureau," has "close links with Hamas' military wing and has been a proponent of armed struggle, including against civilians." "He has reportedly been involved in terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens. Hamas has been responsible for an estimated 17 American lives killed in terrorist attacks," the State Department said.
The designation by the State Department seeks to prevent these individuals from obtaining the resources they need to plan or carry out terror attacks. As such, all their property and interests subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked, and U.S. citizens are prohibited from engaging in transactions with them. (Read more)
- Lord, thank You for this move by the Trump administration in blocking these individuals from obtaining the resources they need to carry out terrorist attacks. May other countries follow our example.
- For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you. (Psalm 5:4)
9. Trump nominee for U.N. migration post called Muslims violent, Christians top priority - Washington Post
The Trump administration's nominee to coordinate billions of dollars in assistance to migrants around the world has suggested in social-media posts that Islam is an inherently violent religion and has said Christians in some cases should receive preferential treatment when resettling from hostile areas.
In tweets, social media posts and radio appearances reviewed by The Washington Post, Ken Isaacs, a vice president of the Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse, made disparaging remarks about Muslims and denied climate change - a driving force behind migration, according to the agency the State Department has nominated him to lead.
Isaacs was announced Thursday as the Trump administration's pick to become director general of the United Nations' International Organization for Migration, or IOM. The 169-member organization has a nearly $1 billion annual operating budget and for decades has deferred to the United States, one of its top benefactors, to lead the organization.
After The Post sent a sampling of his social media activity to the State Department, along with a request for comment, his Twitter account was made private, and the department provided a statement from Isaacs apologizing for his posts.
The election to lead the IOM is scheduled for June. A nominee must receive the support of two-thirds of its voting members. (Read more)
- Father God, we come against this smear campaign being launched against this wonderful brother in Christ by leftist operatives. We forgive them. We ask for favor for Ken Isaacs when his name goes before this UN Committee in June and for his successful nomination to this key post at the IOM. In Your Name, amen.
- "Know therefore today that it is the LORD your God who is crossing over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and He will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and destroy them quickly, just as the LORD has spoken to you." (Deuteronomy 9:3)

11. Haley: UN list of firms linked to settlements part of 'anti-Israeli obsession' - Times of Israel
US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Wednesday slammed a UN report on 206 companies with ties to Israeli settlements as "a waste of time and resources" that showed an "anti-Israeli obsession."
The office of the UN high commissioner for human rights released the report that did not name the companies but could pave the way to a "blacklist" of businesses that Israeli officials fear would be targeted for an international boycott.
"This whole issue is outside the bounds of the High Commissioner for Human Rights office's mandate and is a waste of time and resources," Haley said in a statement. (Read more)
- Almighty God of Israel, we come before Your face in prayer for the State of Israel praying that You will block this attempted international boycott against 206 Israeli businesses. You are the creator of Israel, the established Lord over Israel. All attempts to bring war against Israel will be met with GOD's defense and divine protection. God, bless with Your presence all 206 businesses that are coming under threats of the powers of darkness. In the mighty Name of Jesus the Christ, amen.
- "And the fear of the Lord was on all the kingdoms of those counties, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel." (II Chronicles 20:29)
12. North Korea Plans Parade of Long-Range Missiles Before Olympics - Breitbart
According to a CNN report, North Korea is planning to show off 'hundreds' of missiles and rockets during its pre-Olympic parade on February 8, including dozens of intercontinental ballistic missiles. The 'diplomatic sources with deep knowledge of North Korea's intentions' told CNN that the display will be intended to 'scare the hell out of the Americans,' and might be followed by a missile test in the 'near future.'
The ICBMs on display will purportedly include Hwasong-15 missiles, the new class tested in November that experts believe could be the first North Korean weapon that could reliably reach the United States, although some doubts have been expressed about the exact capabilities displayed during its test. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we rise up to stand before You at Your throne room to intercede One-on-one for the Korean leadership to be encircled by God's presence, so that they cannot make one move that is incited by their god, satan. We declare that the Lord, He is God over all the insidious plans of Korea, who walk in the pride of their accomplishments geared to destroy humanity. Watch God move. Lord, we put our trust in You, the God of the Universe, to crush the works of darkness under Your feet so that the world will know Who sits on the seat of authority over this evil generation. We pray and trust our God, in the Name of Jesus.
- "And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treads the winepress of the fiercenest and wrath of Almighty God. And he has on His vesture and on His thigh a Name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." (Revelation 19:15-16)
13. Guatemala election: Jimmy Morales elected president - BBC.com
A former TV comedian with no experience in government has won the run-off vote in Guatemala's presidential election. Jimmy Morales got more than double the votes of ex-first lady Sandra Torres, who is seen by many as part of the country's unpopular political elite.
Mr Morales campaigned on a promise to fight graft following the resignation and arrest on corruption charges of President Otto Perez Molina last month.
Ms Torres admitted defeat once the margin of Mr Morales' win was clear. Mr Morales received 67.4% of the vote and Ms Torres 32.6%. (Read more)
- Father God, we recognize that tonight, a shockwave is moving across the nation of Guatemala, as you have delivered this nation into the hand of a righteous man. We praise You for this victory, and we ask that Jimmy Morales be guided by Your Hand for the blessing of the people of Guatemala in the days ahead. Amen.
- "So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"

God's word, race and politics
Galatians 3:28 says, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Romans 3:22 says, "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference." Joel 2:29 says, "And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit." It is obvious that the Lord sees no distinction between men and women, also Jew or Gentile (meaning creed or color), or station in life when it comes to how he views those who believe. So why then is it so difficult for those in the human race to view people in that same way?
There are some who will read this and lecture about there being only one race--the human race. I get that and believe it to be true. Notwithstanding, we still have in this nation and, quite frankly, around the world, problems with dealing with those who look differently than we do. It makes it a little easier if we know we are dealing with believers, but there are still barriers a lot of the time. This is a very difficult and tender subject to approach. Society is divisive. Politicians, especially politicians, are divisive as they benefit from pitting people against one another. They fan the flames and fuel the fires rather than contributing to meaningful dialogue that brings people together.
In this era of politics in America, there are a lot of people who make strong statements that are not backed by the truth. As a result, there are many out there who unknowingly are manipulated into a way of thinking that is not in accordance with the word of God. There are many who want to control others and the way they do it is through propagating a victim mentality. The problem is that people fall for it, no matter the color of their skin or their station in life or their religious persuasion. But there is a greater mandate that those of us who call ourselves Christian must follow, especially as the times grow darker. It is a higher standard--one to which we must aspire.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:1-2, "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you again." I often rephrase this in my mind to say: don't judge from the content of my own heart. Our job is, as Jesus said in John 13:34, "A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." And we are to, as Jesus said in Mark 16:15, "go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." When you are faced with what society calls racism or political division, use it as an opportunity to educate about the Word of God in a way that folks can understand and receive it (not by lecturing or by being judgmental or self righteous). The world needs light, we have it. Let's shine it!
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

At Least Ten Embassies are Expected to Move to Jerusalem
On December 6, 2017, President Trump announced that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel and that he had instructed the U.S. State Department to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. His declaration caused international reactions, both positive and negative, including the announcement by some countries of their plans to also move their embassies to Jerusalem.
Trump's announcement came eight months after Russia announced Jerusalem was Israel's capital in April 2017. Shortly after Trump's announcement, officials from Guatemala announced their embassy would be moved as well.
After Guatemala's announcement, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Likud MKs and reporters,
" I told you recently there would be other countries that will recognize Jerusalem and move their embassies. I repeat: There will be more, this is just the beginning."
According to Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely ten countries are considering moving their embassy to Israel's capital city.
Channel 10 reported that the Honduras Embassy would most likely be the next country to follow Guatemala. Israel reportedly signed an agreement with Honduras in 2016 to strengthen its armed forces in an effort to help it fight against organized crime and its newly reelected president, Juan Orlando Hernandez, graduated from MASHAV, Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation.
The Walla news site reported that representatives from Romania and Slovakia expressed support about moving their embassies to Jerusalem as well.
The Times of Israel points to Paraguay and Togo as additional countries. The Israeli Foreign Ministry would not disclose which countries it was in discussion with, or confirm an speculations.
Yesterday Vice President Mike Pence stated that the U.S. Embassy would open in Jerusalem in 2019.

- Father God, O Holy One, we see Your Hand moving now among these nations as some begin to align in support of Israel. We pray that all nations will hear Your voice and obey Your command to be a blessing to Israel.
And Lord, in this hour of the separation of the "sheep nations" from the "goat nations," we pray that our nation will always bless Israel, too.

Classic Hymns
IN THE GARDEN
"Thinking He was the gardener, she said, 'Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.'" (John 20:15)
IN THE GARDEN
"Thinking He was the gardener, she said, 'Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.'" (John 20:15)
Lyrics
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
Refrain
I'd stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.
Refrain
Melody
Please enjoy listening to Anne Murray singing this hymn.
About the Author:
Words & Music: C. Austin Miles, March 1912
This hymn was sung in the movie Places in the Heart, which won two Academy Awards in 1984.
About the Hymn:
"The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, while it was yet very dark, unto the sepulcher." Instantly, completely, there unfolded in my mind the scenes of the garden of Joseph.Out of the mists of the garden comes a form, halting, hesitating, tearful, seeking, turning from side to side in bewildering amazement. Falteringly, bearing grief in every accent, with tear-dimmed eyes, she whispers, "If thou hast borne him hence". "He speaks, and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing." Jesus said to her, "Mary!" Just one word from his lips, and forgotten the heartaches, the long dreary hours all the past blotted out in the presence of the Living Present and the Eternal Future.

Russian Media Reports 'Biblical Bombshell' as Siberian River Turns to Crimson
The Molchanka river in Siberia turned into a blood-red estuary on Tuesday. The Russian news agency TASS described the sudden transformation as a "Biblical Bombshell," comparing what happened the Molchanka river to the first plague of Egypt in the Biblical story of Passover.
"Moshe and Aharon did just as Hashem commanded: he lifted up the rod and struck the water in the Nile in the sight of Pharaoh and his courtiers, and all the water in the Nile was turned into blood." (Exodus 7:20)
Notwithstanding the comparison made by TASS, local officials are still searching for a more natural explanation. Galina Yevseeva, the spokesperson for the Tyumen region, told TASS that experts in the regional department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor), the Russian agency responsible for environmental concerns, were investigating the cause of the shocking crimson color. Water samples were sent to the Center for Epidemiology in charge of public health where they are still conducting tests to check for toxic pollution. (Breaking Israel News) Read more.

Muslims in Middle East Becoming Christians,
Churches Expect Millions of Converts
The Voice Of the Martyrs (Canada division, VOMC) told BosNewsLife that thousands of Muslims are becoming Christians in the Middle East- through the reach of radio broadcasts.
VOMC reports that "the church" is growing despite intense persecution in Syria, Iraq, Jordan and other areas of the Middle East. Thousands of Muslims are returning to the faith of their homeland's ancestors in Jesus Christ, maintaining that they understand Christianity is the "religion of freedom." Amidst ongoing persecution throughout the region, a spiritual hunger exists, and new Christians are pleading for Bibles in their own language.
VOMC emphasized that despite Islamic terrorism and ongoing war, "God has been very faithful," and there are "strong Christian believers remaining" in the Middle East."
The focus is on the Lord, to whom VOMC credits "the tremendous growth [that] is taking place in the lives of new believers who were Muslims." It reiterates that God is to "be praised and worshipped with great honour, He is worthy." (Read more)

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
Friends may participate by receiving our daily prayer alerts. You may contact us at chpp1994@gmail.com for more information. CHPP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry. Thank you and God bless you!
