1. Israel's multi-layer defense system nearing completion - The Washington Post

JERUSALEM - A joint U.S.-Israeli missile interceptor will be operational soon, completing Israel's multi-layer defense system, a senior Israeli air force official said Monday.

He said David's Sling, meant to counter medium-range missiles possessed by Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants in Lebanon, will be operational in early April, marking the completion of the system.

That includes the Arrow, designed to intercept long-range ballistic missiles in the stratosphere with an eye on Iran, and Iron Dome, which defends against short-range rockets from Gaza. (Read more)

2. Jerusalem to host Israel's main gay pride parade - report - Times of Israel

Israel's main gay pride parade will reportedly take place this year in Jerusalem, rather than in Tel Aviv where it is traditionally held. Although Jerusalem is both Israel's capital and its largest city, its gay pride parade is much smaller than then one in Tel Aviv, which has a large LGBT community and prides itself on its tolerant environment.

The initiative to hold the country's main gay pride parade in Jerusalem this year was pushed for by the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance in order to protest for equal rights for the LGBT community, Channel 2 reported. (Read more)

3. Israel said to strike Syria for second time in 24 hours, amid threats from Damascus- Times of Israel

Israel is said to have struck Syria overnight Sunday-Monday, the second strike in 24 hours and third in three days as tensions escalated between the two countries over the weekend.

Syria media reported early Monday that Israeli jets took out a number of targets near the Lebanon-Syria border including a Hezbollah weapons convoy and Syrian military sites. (Read more)

4. 'Hezbollah is preparing for war' - Israel National News

IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot warned Sunday that the Hezbollah terror organization in Lebanon was preparing for its next major attack on Israel, and that war with the fundamentalist Shiite group was only a matter of time.

"The coming war will have an address - the Lebanese government," said Eizenkot. "Hezbollah is violating UN resolutions and is preparing for war." (Read more)

5. Shin Bet: Terror attacks will intensify ahead of Passover holiday - World Israel News

Attempts by Palestinian terrorists to carry out attacks against Israel will intensify in the coming month, ahead of the Passover holiday, the head of the Shin Bet (Israel's Security Agency) warned.

Addressing the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday, Shin Bet director Nadav Argaman said "there is no doubt" that terrorism networks, and including those commanded by Hamas, will attempt to carry out attacks ahead of the spring holiday season.

Passover and Israel's national holidays, including Independence Day, are among the upcoming holidays. (Read more)

Please note:
Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

1. Five things to watch for in Supreme Court showdown - The Hill

Hearings on the confirmation of President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, kick off this week. The Colorado-based federal appellate judge is likely to face tough questions from Democrats, many of whom view his nomination as an attempt to steal a seat that should have been filled by former President Obama.

Republicans' refusal to hold a hearing or vote on Obama's nominee, Merrick Garland, until the next president was chosen gave the country its longest-ever court vacancy and Trump the chance to fill a seat previously held by a leading conservative. With Gorsuch, Trump appears to have delivered on his promise to name someone in the mold of Justice Antonin Scalia, whose death last year opened up the seat.

Democrats have characterized Gorsuch as a judge who puts the interests of big business over American workers, but not everyone in the party seems ready to filibuster his nomination. If they can't get Gorsuch past the 60-vote filibuster threshold, Republicans could go "nuclear" by removing the filibuster and eliminating not only Democrats' ability to filibuster Gorsuch but other Supreme Court nominations to come.

With three justices in their 80s, Trump could have the chance to fill as many as four seats on the Supreme Court during his presidency. Democrats may chose to save this fight for the future. For now, Gorsuch needs the support of at least eight Democrats to win confirmation in the 52-48 GOP majority.

Here are five things to watch for. (Read more)

- Precious Lord, we lay before you the confirmation hearing for Judge Gorsuch. We ask that You, in Your wisdom that is higher than earthly wisdom, would be in charge of these proceedings to make sure that all questions asked would only give credibility to this man's nomination for the highest court in the land. May each answer Judge Gorsuch gives come out with Your strength and power to silence his enemies and Yours in Congress. We ask that You would turn each dart aimed at him as a question to be turned back again into a positive vote. Thank You, Lord, for Your divine oversight in this matter.

- "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 54:17)

2. Comey: 'No Information That Supports' Trump's 'Wiretap' Tweets - CNSNews.com

FBI Director James Comey told the House intelligence committee on Monday that he has looked carefully but found "no information" to support President Donald Trump's accusation that President Obama "wiretapped" him.

Comey told the intelligence committee on Monday that, in general, the courts must grant permission for electronic surveillance, based on a showing of probable cause.

"No individual in the United States can direct electronic surveillance of anyone. It has to go through an application process, ask a judge. The judge can then make the order."

Comey added that "no president" could order a wiretap of anyone.

Asked if the FBI or the Justice Department requested surveillance of Donald Trump but was turned down by a court, Comey refused to answer: "That's one of those subjects I can't comment on, one way or another," he said. (Read more)

3. Sen. Ted Cruz: Trump's Wiretapping Allegations 'Not Necessarily as Outlandish' as Media Suggests - CNSNews.com

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday that President Donald Trump's allegations that the Obama administration wiretapped Trump Tower is not as "outlandish as the press suggests." "I will point out, this is not necessarily as outlandish as everyone in the press suggests. We do know that the Obama administration targeted their political enemies. We do know that the IRS, for example, targeted citizens groups who spoke out in defense of the Constitution, who spoke out against Obama, and so the notion is not necessarily outlandish, but it is serious. So it needs to be based on facts," Cruz said. (Read more)

4. Intelligence Chair Encourages Whistleblowers to Contact Committee: Who Leaked? - CNSNews.com

"Who has leaked classified information?" House intelligence committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) asked at Monday's hearing on Russian influence in the U.S. election. He urged whistleblowers to "come forward and speak to the committee." In his opening statement, Nunes raised three questions:

-- What actions did Russia undertake against the United States during the 2016 election campaign, and did anyone from a political campaign conspire in these activities?
-- Were the communications of officials or associates of any campaign subject to any kind of improper surveillance?
-- Who has leaked classified information? (Read more)

5. NSA documents: Trump under surveillance for years - WND

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Infowars.com have obtained credible information from law enforcement sources regarding individual records of U.S. citizens under National Security Agency (NSA) electronic surveillance in the years 2004 through 2010 - a database that suggests both Donald J. Trump and Alex Jones were under illegal, unauthorized government monitoring during those years.

Michael Zullo, formerly the commander and chief investigator of the Cold Case Posse (CCP), a special investigative group created in 2006 in the office of Joseph M. Arpaio, formerly the sheriff in Maricopa County, an Arizona State Certified Law Enforcement Agency, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, provided sections of the database to Infowars.com.

The electronic surveillance database, provided to Zullo by a whistleblower in 2013, was apparently created by the NSA as part of the NSA's illegal and unconstitutional Project Dragnet electronic surveillance of U.S. citizens, first revealed by news reports published in 2005, as further documented by the revelations of whistleblower Edward Snowden in 2013. - Oh, Father God, we are distressed to see evidence that a government agency was spying on US citizens and then have leaders turn around and deny in public this ever happened. In the name of Jesus, we bind up a spirit of lying and loose a spirit of truth upon government officials and agency heads who are obviously not telling the truth. Father, we call on You to work Your special work of making a public show of the evil that has been perpetrated and then denies it ever happened. We thank You that You alone are able to bring Your kind of justice to this situation and correct the evil that was done. We issue a call for justice, in Your Name, amen.

- "None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity." (Isaiah 59:4)

6. Trump administration boycotts UN council session over anti-Israel 'bias' - Fox News

The Trump administration said Monday that it is boycotting a session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, amid growing concerns by the administration over the U.N.'s anti-Israel stance. The boycott, first reported by The Washington Free Beacon, comes as the council was expected to adopt a number of anti-Israel resolutions Monday. The council has long been criticized as one of the U.N.'s most anti-Israel bodies.

State Department spokesman Mark Toner said that one particular agenda item -- "Human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories" - was "yet another reminder of that body's long-standing bias against Israel. As an expression of our deeply-held conviction that this bias must be addressed in order for the Council to realize its legitimate purpose, the United States decided not to attend the Council's Item Seven General Debate session," Toner said, adding that the U.S. will vote against every resolution under the agenda item, and encourage other countries to do the same.

"The so-called 'Agenda Item 7' discredits the standing of the only UN body specifically designed to address the state of global human rights by allowing nations to distract from their own abuses back home by churning out anti-Israel propaganda," said U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley in a statement. (Read more)

- Father we thank You for the strong stance that President Trump has taken in the first 100 days of his time in office, on behalf of the safety and the security of the nation of Israel. May other nations take note of this action, and also withdraw from participating in this agenda, in Your name, amen.

- "Whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye." (Zech. 2:8)

7. Hawaii considering bill to force church, pro-life centers to promote abortion - Washington Times

Hawaii is considering legislation that would require all pregnancy centers to refer patients to clinics that provide abortions, - a move pro-life centers say will violate their religious beliefs and their free speech rights.

In a 22-3 vote, the state's Democrat-controlled Senate approved SB 501, which would direct "all limited service pregnancy centers to disclose the availability of and enrollment information for reproductive health services."

A companion bill is expected to pass in the House, which is also controlled by Democrats. (Read more)

- Our Father who art in heaven, have mercy on the babies that are being killed before they have the opportunity to become what You created them to be. Hawaii is a beautiful state but its beauty is greatly dimmed by the bill that may be passed in that state. Once again anti-Christians are pushing for pregnant women to have abortions. But this bill is a bit different as it will require churches to advertise abortions. Dear Lord our God! Your are the only hope to end killing these precious little ones. We ask You, dear Lord, to invade the minds and actions of those considering this bill and supporting it in any way. We pray for the evil ones to see their sins and come into the light asking for repentance. Show them Your way to salvation. If they choose to stay in wickedness, Your word says hell will be theirs. Amen.

- "Let death seize them; Let them go down alive into hell, For wickedness is in their dwellings and among them." (Psalm 55:15)

8. Too Many Bodies in Ohio Morgue, so Coroner Gets Death Trailer - NBC News

It's mute testimony to the opioid addiction plague that has been ravaging Ohio - a 20-foot-long air conditioned trailer with room for 18 bodies.

The Stark County coroner in Canton had a "cold storage mass casualty trailer" trucked-in on Saturday because the morgue was overflowing with bodies, nearly half of them victims of drug overdoses. (Read more)

- Father, each of these precious people were born with purpose, intended to know You and bring Your light into this world. We cancel the assignment of the enemy to destroy more lives in our nation through drug abuse. Bring us sobriety, in Your mercy, Amen.

- "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings." (1 Peter 5:8-9)

9. Egypt's Sisi to visit Washington in first week of April: newspaper - Reuters

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will make his first state visit to Washington during the first week of April at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian state-owned newspaper Al-Ahram reported on Sunday. The trip will be Sisi's first U.S. state visit since being elected president in 2014 as former U.S. President Barack Obama had never extended an invitation.

Sisi was elected a year after leading the military's ousting of the Muslim Brotherhood's President Mohamed Mursi after mass protests. Trump invited Sisi in January but the date of the visit had not been announced. (Read more)

- Father God, the first state visit of Egyptian President al-Sisi will be a history making event. President Trump graciously extended an invitation to the Egyptian president in January. If Your plan is for this president to visit the US, let a date be confirmed soon. Our hope is that the two presidents will become friends and that the two countries will be allies. If the Egyptian president doesn't know You as his personal Savior let him come to know You while he is in the US. And dear Lord, if President al-Sisi has knowledge that will be helpful to Mr. Trump in the best ways to handle the Muslim Botherhood, let that knowledge come forth. We ask these things in Your name, amen.

- "Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held - To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut." (Isaiah 45:1)

10. How Russia Is Turning Syria into a Major Naval Base for Nuclear Warships - National Interest

During the 1970s, the Syrian naval base of Tartus became a major port servicing warships of the Soviet Union's Fifth Mediterranean squadron. The Soviet Union is gone, and so is Syria as a unified nation. But Russia is back, and it's building up Tartus again as a naval base that can handle Russia's largest nuclear-powered ships.

Already, Israel says the Tartus base is affecting its naval operations. U.S. and NATO operations could be next.

Under the forty-nine-year agreement inked late last year by Russia and Syria, "the maximum number of the Russian warships allowed at the Russian naval facility at one time is 11, including nuclear-powered warships, providing that nuclear and ecological security rules are observed," according to Russia's RT news site. Russia will also be allowed to expand port facilities to accommodate the vessels. (Read more)

- Father, as Russia turns Syria into a major naval base for nuclear warships, our prayer is that this base will be gone just as the Soviet Union is no more. Lord, there is no army, warship or weapon stronger than You. Russia's warships are no match for the weapons of God. Let the Russians begin working for peace and no longer threaten Israel, the United States or any other nation. Let all the warships of Russia fail and their plans to destroy nations and their people become null and void. Guard Your people against any harm from Russia. You are the protector, comforter, and provider of Your people. We pray against all evil acts and ask for Your plans to go forth against the evil one. By the authority given us by Jesus Christ, take down this Russian stronghold. In Your Name, amen.

- "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:4)

11. Dutch Liberals Defeat Wilders's Party in Blow to Populist Surge - Bloomberg

Dutch voters turned out in force to back pro-European parties and help Prime Minister Mark Rutte's Liberals easily beat off an election challenge by the anti-Islam Freedom Party of Geert Wilders, drawing a line in the sand over the spread of populism. (Read more)

- Father, we ask that You stem this tide of a rising liberal agenda, pulling it back from overwhelming the Netherlands, and blocking its entrance to the rest of the nations of Europe. We ask in Your name, amen.

- "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." (John 14:14)

2. The Mystery of Judge Neil Gorsuch's Faith - CBN

. . . the judge's brother, JJ, says he's not sure where Gorsuch lands.

"He was raised in the Catholic Church and confirmed in the Catholic Church as an adolescent, but he has been attending Episcopal services for the past 15 or so years," JJ Gorsuch told CNN.

The two churches diverge theologically and politically, and that has led some social and religious conservatives to express concern about the liberal positions taken by the Episcopal Church Gorsuch attends in Boulder.

St. John's is welcoming to gays and lesbians and the church's pastor, Rev. Susan Springer, admits to supporting gay marriage. The church also encourages members to advocate for gun control and action against global warming. A church leader has also put his name to a letter protesting President Trump for harsh statements about Muslims. (Read more)

When judges undermine the law

A Harvard classmate of the ex "president" and nominated to the court by the ex "president," Hawaii US District Court Judge Derrick Watson was the one who ruled against President Donald Trump's revised travel ban on terrorist sponsoring nations. The ex "president" reportedly made an unexpected trip to Honolulu two days before Watson ruled, causing widespread speculation of a backroom deal. Watson's ruling postulates that Hawaiian universities and tourism overrules security concerns. Pearl Harbor victims might have something to say about that. Watson also infers that Muslim clerics have the Constitutional right to bring anyone they want into the US, whether they have visas or not. But there is more.

Central to Watson's ruling was consideration to the plaintiff, who claimed, discrimination to his family in violation of both the Constitution and the INA, denying them their right among other things, "to associate with family members overseas on the basis of their religion and national origin." The plaintiff is Dr. Ismail Elshikh, a local Hawaiian Imam whose mother is a Syrian national "without a visa, who last visited the family in Hawaii in 2005." She would be barred from entering the US unless granted a waiver. Further, Watson said the state of Hawaii's universities would "suffer monetary damages and intangible harms" and the state would lose revenue "due to a decline in tourism" because of the executive order.

Watson admitted that Trump's executive order contains no express reference to any religion, nor does it "contain any term or phrase that can be reasonably characterized as having a religious origin or connotation." But Watson says, "The illogic of the Government's contentions is palpable. The notion that one can demonstrate animus toward any group of people only by targeting all of them at once is fundamentally flawed." The judge also cited instances when Candidate Trump said he would ban Muslims until they were fully vetted. So the judge included in his decision to issue a restraining order on the ban because Trump, before he was elected, referred to the action as a Muslim ban.

Watson contends by his statements that non-US citizens living abroad have US Constitutional rights. Overall, he ignored the law. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 specifically states in Section 212: "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate." The Lord said in Luke 16:10, "...he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much." Judge Watson has undermined the law and the Constitution. He should be removed from his position.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Man arrested at White House says he's telepathic

A man who drove to a security checkpoint near the White House in a stolen car and was arrested after stating "there's a bomb in the trunk," later told authorities that the object in the trunk was an asteroid and that he communicates telepathically with the president.

According to a court document filed Monday, 29-year-old Sean Patrick Keoughan of Roanoke, Virginia, approached the checkpoint at 10 p.m. Saturday and said he had a meeting with President Donald Trump. Officers found no record for a meeting and Keoughan left. He approached again at 11 p.m. and made the statement about the bomb.
Keoughan was arrested and has been charged with threatening and conveying false information concerning the use of an explosive. The charge is punishable by a maximum of 10 years in prison.
Prosecutors said in a statement that Keoughan was ordered held in jail until a hearing Thursday. A mental health screening was also ordered. Keoughan's attorney, Dani Jahn, a federal public defender, declined to comment when reached by telephone Monday afternoon. (Fox News) Read more.
- Father God, we continue to lift up President Trump for Your divine safekeeping while he is this office. We thank You that, at the timing of this latest incident, Mr. Trump was not in Washington. We pray for the salvation of this intruder, in Your name, amen.

Israeli Soldiers Report Divine Intervention in Battle With ISIS

Israeli soldiers last week clashed with ISIS terrorists along the Israel-Syria border in the Golan Heights. Those same soldiers later reported, and provided evidence of, divine intervention.

Last Sunday, ISIS gunmen opened fire on a group of Israeli soldiers operating in the buffer zone between Israel and Syria.

srael Air Force aircraft quickly eliminated the threat. A day later, Israel bombed the local terrorist base of operations - a facility that had been surrendered by the UN. Israel feared the incidents marked the beginning of a severe escalation in ISIS attacks against the Jewish state.

But then, God apparently stepped in.

DIVINE INTERVENTION

As seen in the following video, shortly after the attacks described above, a literal pillar of cloud appeared, blinding the terrorists, but stopping just at the border and not entering Israel.

Just like the pillar of cloud that protected Israel during her Exodus from Egypt.

The Good News Corner

U.N. OFFICIAL FORCED TO RESIGN BECAUSE OF HER RABID ANTI-ISRAEL STANCE: IS THE U.N. FINALLY STANDING UP TO HATERS?

"It is time to put an end to practice in which U.N. officials use their position to advance their anti-Israel agenda. Over the years, Khalaf has worked to harm Israel and advocate for the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement. Her removal from the U.N. is long overdue." -Danny Danon, Israeli Ambassador to the U.N.

Rima Khalaf, the executive secretary of a United Nations agency that released a controversial report accusing Israel of implementing "an apartheid regime," resigned from her post Friday after U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres asked her to withdraw the report.
Earlier this week, Guterres had said through a spokesperson that the report, released by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), "does not reflect the views of the secretary-general" and was published without consulting the U.N. leader.
The report from the U.N. body led by Khalaf, a Jordanian national, stated that "available evidence establishes beyond a reasonable doubt that Israel is guilty of policies and practices that constitute the crime of apartheid." Further, the report's author was Richard Falk, a discredited former U.N. special rapporteur for human rights who has an extensive record of virulently anti-Israel rhetoric. Falk has previously praised the Palestinian terror organization Hamas, likening the terror group to the French resistance of World War II.
Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon praised Guterres's approach on the issue, which prompted Khalaf's resignation.

"The secretary-general's decision is an important step in ending the bias against Israel at the U.N.," Danon said Friday. "Anti-Israel activists do not belong in the U.N. It is time to put an end to practice in which U.N. officials use their position to advance their anti-Israel agenda. Over the years, Khalaf has worked to harm Israel and advocate for the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement. Her removal from the U.N. is long overdue."

Before Khalaf's resignation, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley had expressed "outrage" over the anti-Israel report and called on Guterres to force its withdrawal. (JNS.org)
