October 29 - November 2, 2012

"Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand . . ." (Joel 2:2)

The freshly appointed chairman of a federal investigation into the Benghazi massacre is an apologist for Islamic terrorism who has a cozy relationship with Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism. And to add insult to injury, at press time Tuesday evening the chairman of this new State Department panel, former Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering, was poised to participate in a panel discussion at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., on "what role the faith community can play in fighting Islamophobia."

The news comes on the heels of a new report by the Investigative Project on Terrorism that found that "scores" of known radical Islamists met with senior Obama administration officials during hundreds of visits to the White House. (Front Page Magazine) Read more.

- Heavenly Father, we ask that Your Sovereign hand would bring justice to this most grievous injustice with the handling of the recent Benghazi raid with the the killing of U.S. Ambassador Stevens and others. Please expose the truth of this disaster to the American public. We are so burdened by the insensitivity of Mr. Obama to the families that lost their loved ones and then appointing a Moslem sympathizer to investigate this tragedy. Father, deliver us from this oppression and the insults heaped upon our nation.

- "God is to us a God of deliverances and salvation; and to God the Lord belongs escape from death [setting us free]." (Psalm 68:20)

Glenn Beck interviews the father of one of the Navy Seal members who was slain in the Benghazi raid. The father had the opportunity to see Mr. Obama in a memorial event for the fallen members of the Benghazi raid. The father said shaking Mr. Obama's hand was like shaking a dead fish. He said that Mr. Obama would not even look at him in the eye, but stared over his shoulder.

He went on to say that Hillary Clinton lied to him saying that those responsible for the raid (alluding to the Moslem film as the cause of the raid) would be prosecuted. Even to his face Hillary falsely took the blame off of herself and Obama and placed it squarely on the already proven false claim that the Moslem video was the cause of the raid. (Family Security Matters) View videos.

- Heavenly Father, the false witness by America leaders and news media executives in light of the evidence that the raids in Benghazi were not reactions to a simple video is most dishonorable. It is especially grievous to the families that have paid the ultimate price with their children's lives. We ask that You make straight the crooked paths of unrighteous leadership. Father, You have all authority in heaven and in earth to make these paths straight.

- "in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
(Proverbs 3:6)

It is no secret that Obama's and green-energy supporters' (from both parties) foray into venture capitalism has not gone well. But the extent of its failure has been largely ignored by the press. Sure, single instances garner attention as they happen, but they ignore past failures in order to make it seem like a rare case.

The truth is that the problem is widespread. The government's picking winners and losers in the energy market has cost taxpayers billions of dollars, and the rate of failure, cronyism, and corruption at the companies receiving the subsidies is substantial. The fact that some companies are not under financial duress does not make the policy a success. It simply means that our taxpayer dollars subsidized companies that would've found the financial support in the private market.

So far, 36 companies that have received federal support from taxpayers have either gone bankrupt or are laying off workers and are heading for bankruptcy. This list includes only those companies that received federal money from the Obama Administration's Department of Energy. The amount of money indicated does not reflect how much was actually received or spent but how much was offered. The amount also does not include other state, local, and federal tax credits and subsidies, which push the amount of money these companies have received from taxpayers even higher. (The Foundry - See the list of 36 companies and read more.

- Our Father who art in heaven, we pray that You will help us with our inability to make wise decisions on economic matters. You are the author of sound wisdom for how to solve our economic woes. We ask that You give wisdom to our financial leaders in this nation. Help us restore sound business practices. Apart from You, we can do nothing that will produce righteous and creative ways to foster growth in our economy and be a blessing to other nations.

- "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

Obama said a couple of dangerously misleading things in last Monday's debate, one of them a regular talking point. Let's set the record straight. Yes, technology's advance means today's military must be a different shape and size than past US forces - we do use bayonets less. But, no, the current number of ships, planes and people in the US Navy is not adequate. Our naval forces are now badly overextended. Equipment and people have been worn down - and there are serious questions about the ability of the downsized U.S. Navy to meet more than a limited number of major threats.

Obama noted that the Navy is larger than a number of other navies combined. But the Navy's size should be determined by only one question: Is it large enough to reasonably assure our national security? That question requires something more that an oddly misguided comparison to horses and bayonets, including understanding that most potential threat scenarios will be "come as you are" events.

Numbers do count, Mr. Obama, and at present we're getting the numbers wrong. One ship, one plane, one person can be in only one place at a time. And no level of technological capability can make up for it if the ships, planes and people aren't where we need them, when we need them and in sufficient numbers. (New York Post) Read more.

- Father, we ask that You give Your favor to our military leadership to make necessary decisions to promote effective and strategic plans to answer any military needs for now and the future security of this nation. We know that You are the ultimate authority and defender of our liberties and we make our humble petition before You. Deliver us from evil as we give You the Glory and honor as our Lord and Savior.

- "Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again." (Exodus 14:13)

The mobile industry's at war over cellular privacy-or free speech-depending on how you look at it. The Federal Communications Commission said Tuesday that it's accepting comments on a petition that seeks to have Internet-to-phone text messaging declared a type of autodialing. The technology, which collects cell numbers without consent and then messages them via created email addresses, isn't currently covered under the Technology Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and some consider it a loophole for those who want to spam your cellphone.

Scott Goodstein, founder of the mobile firm Revolution Messaging, filed the petition back in January of this year, but it wasn't until this week that the FCC offered any signal it may move on the request. Goodstein says he's out to protect the privacy of mobile users and put a stop to spammers.

On the opposite side of the issue is Gabriel Joseph, president of ccAdvertising. Joseph tells C&E that his firm intends to submit a comment to the FCC in response to Goodstein's petition, and he says banning the technology his firm uses to send political text messages would amount to a violation of free speech. - Heavenly Father, You have blessed this country with the true freedom of speech and in doing so, we do need Your wisdom in sorting out the balance between abuse of that freedom and its true giftedness in allowing us to hear with our ears the concerns of citizens on issues of importance. An informed electorate is a necessary freedom for a democracy in order for it to function. Please give us wisdom in how to use this freedom wisely and unhindered.

Boeing successfully tests a new missile that can take out electronic targets with little collateral damage. The aerospace company tested the microwave missile last week on a two-story building on the Utah Test and Training Range where computers and electronic systems were turned on to gauge the effects of the missile's radio waves, according to a Boeing press release.

The missile, known as CHAMP (Counter-electronics High-powered Advanced Missile Project), fired a burst of High Powered Microwaves at the building, successfully knocking out the electronic systems and computers, and even taking out the television cameras recording the test. Seven targets were taken out in total during the one-hour test which left no collateral damage. (Contributor: CBS News) Read more.

The average GDP growth for the first three quarters of this year is 1.77 percent, according to data released by the the Bureau of Economic Analysis this week. That is less than half of what the White House predicted GDP growth would be this year, and less than a third of what the Obama administration projected when it first took office.

When Obama first came into office, in 2009, the White House projected that GDP growth this year (2012) would be 4.6 percent. Then, in 2010, the White House downplayed that projection to 4.3 percent. And last year, the forecast looked even gloomier, at 3.6 percent. But as the numbers show, the three quarter average of this year came in even worse: 1.77 percent.

"Gross domestic product, the value of all goods and services produced in the U.S., rose at a 2 percent annual rate after climbing 1.3 percent in the prior quarter, Commerce Department figures showed today in Washington," Bloomberg reports. And while Bloomberg goes on to note "The median forecast of 86 economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for a 1.8 percent gain," and that therefore this number beats expectations, it is worth keeping in mind that it's less than half of what the White House predicted growth would be. - Our Father in heaven, give our leaders who have been assigned to watch over the financial assets of this country the wisdom to make sound financial policy according to your ways. We ask that You would move upon them in ways that would cause them to cry out to You, the one true source for the solutions needed to make this nation once again an honest repository of financial strength with integrity. We ask that You continue to expose wrong doing in financial institutions and their management so that trust can once again be vested with assurance of sound economic principles in place.

- "For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it." (Titus 1:7-9)

On Oct. 26, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands the role and scope of Homeland Security in states and areas across the country. This order, which establishes a new Security Partnership Council, will have far reaching effects in the overall mission of Homeland Security, and for state and local areas that interact with the Federal agency.

Economically, the Establishing the White House Homeland Security Partnership Council Executive Order will increase funding and resources to state and local governments to fulfill Homeland Security programs and doctrines, as well as increase Federal oversight in the implementation of directives tied to the agencies mission.

Through creating a new Steering Committee in partnership with how Homeland Security missions, directives, and programs are implemented in state and local levels, the fine line between state sovereignty and the need protect the country from disaster and terror attacks is becoming smaller every day. Over the past few years Homeland Security grants to local law enforcement have led to a militarization of police and public safety, and new drone technology is being used in criminal investigations outside the scope of national security. (The Examiner) Read more.

- (Quote from The Examiner) In a little more than a decade, the Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with its underlying and partnering Federal agencies, have infiltrated nearly every community in America. This new Executive Order, which expands the scope of the agency and gives it greater power in state and local partnerships, will mean greater loss of freedoms and liberties to both the states and citizens as the Federal government imposes greater authority over what should remain state sovereignty scope and missions.

- Decree that this new Executive Order never be implemented, as a new administration may soon be on the horizon!

- "Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; Speak the word, but it will not stand, For God is with us." (Isaiah 8:10)

A debate over how freely the U.S. government can eavesdrop on international communications reaches a climax on Monday in the country's highest court.

At issue is a law passed by Congress in 2008 allowing the government to monitor the overseas communications of individuals without obtaining a warrant for each target. The government has said it needs flexible surveillance power to help prevent strikes by foreign militants such as the attacks of September 11, 2001. But a group of attorneys, journalists and human rights organizations has challenged the law, saying thousands or even millions of innocent Americans are likely being monitored merely because they are communicating with people overseas.

In oral arguments on Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court will consider whether the challengers have the right to bring a suit against the law. (Reuters News Service) Read more.

- Heavenly Father, we ask that You give wisdom and guidance to the nine U.S. Supreme Court justices on the matters of listening in to foreign calls made by U.S. citizens and those of foreign origin to the U.S. We know that this can be a very important matter of security for our nation and its citizens, but there needs to be a necessary balance in light of personal privacy with non-essential security matters and also business transactions that foster national financial growth and do not interfere with national security concerns.

- "You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety." (Job 11:18)

US electoral math is almost like a jigsaw puzzle. Predicting the Electoral College is anybody's guess. Five swing states would determine who the next president of United States would be. Going by the polls, we still may not know who has won for days after the election. There would be long spells of wrangling over the next Presidency of the United States, barring a last minute land-slide.

If the election were held today--Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney would tie nationally at 47 percent, with the remaining voters up for grabs. Those numbers aren't a clear indicator of the results to come. The election is not about the popular vote. It is about electoral votes, Only one number matters in the presidential election, and that is number 270. The election would be decided by the following swing states where Obama and Romney are going neck to neck: Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia and Nevada. (Asia Tribune) Read more.

Hurricane Sandy is expected to pose a serious threat to the East Coast, prompting several governors to order mandatory evacuations and declare a state of emergency.

Regardless of its official category, Sandy is expected to be a monstrous storm that poses a serious threat for the entire Eastern Seaboard. Forecasters say Sandy is a massive cyclone, with hurricane-force winds recorded as far as 100 miles away from the eye of the storm.

Experts said the storm could be wider and stronger than Irene, which caused more than $15 billion in damage, and could rival the worst East Coast storm on record (Fox News) Read more.

A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off the west coast of Canada and a tsunami warning was issued, authorities said, but there were no immediate reports of major damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake hit the Queen Charlotte Islands just after 8 p.m. local time Saturday at a depth of about 3 miles and was centered 96 miles south of Masset, British Columbia.

The National Weather Service issued a tsunami warning for coastal areas of British Columbia and southern Alaska. It said the warning area included Craig and Sitka, Alaska. (Fox News) Read more.

Wednesday (October 24th), the Israel Defense Forces [IDF] welcomed the 34th class of the combat officers after they graduated their training course. The ceremony's attendees included Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Yair Naveh, Ground Forces Commander Maj. Gen. Sami Turgeman, Commander of the Officers' School Col. Eran Niv, and the officers' families and friends.

Addressing the ceremony, the deputy chief of staff discussed Israel's security situation. "The distant East's leaders shamelessly threaten from every stage, voicing their desire for Israel's destruction," he said. "On the border of Gaza, we are in a situation of constant combat against terror organization, and from time to time, such as today, the civilians of the South must stand on the front lines under fire. In front of our eyes, the Sinai border has turned into a border of active terror, taking a toll in blood. The Golan Heights is turning from a long quiet border into a border where the forces of jihad ["struggle" in Arabic] and terror congregate.

"For the first time in many years, the IDF, including you, is forced to maintain alertness and preparedness on a number of fronts simultaneously, and forced to responsibly follow changes throughout the region with flexibility," continued Maj. Gen. Naveh. "Starting tomorrow, you are there facing the challenges; you are the commanders of the ambush in Lebanon, commanders of the armored patrol on the Sinai border, and commanders on the Gaza border. You will be required to be committed to the mission, provide a personal example, and be vigilantly responsible for human life."

Maj. Gen. Naveh also offered advice to the new officers, emphasizing their responsibilities toward their soldiers. "In combat, the soldier is the most important factor," he said. "They are the key to achieving victory, and they are the causes of defeat and failure. Therefore, take good care of your people; they are your primary source of strength. Develop the best of them into commanders, do not excuse the deviants, and do not ignore the unacceptable. Command your force. You will be required to command from the front. The essence of command lies in the small details, and your test is that of action."

Three foreign workers at the Eshkol Regional Council were injured on Wednesday [October 24] in an ongoing rocket attack on southern Israel. Two of the three sustained serious wounds and one sustained light wounds. They were rushed to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. A woman residing at the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council was lightly wounded after running to a shelter. She was taken to the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon. More than 50 rockets and mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip hit southern Israel since Tuesday night, 30 of them at the Eshkol area. Five houses suffered a direct hit. The Iron Dome system intercepted seven rockets fired at Hof Ashkelon. Hamas' military wing and the Popular Resistance Committees have both claimed responsibility for the rocket attack.

School has been suspended at the Eshkol, Shaar Hanegev and Sdot Negev regional councils and residents were instructed to remain inside fortified spaces. Home Front Defense Minister Avi Dichter may cut his Eilat visit as part of the Turning Point 6 drill short in order to attend situation assessments in the Gaza vicinity area in the wake of Wednesday's escalation.

The army launched several airstrikes in Gaza since Tuesday night in response to rocket fire. The Israel Defense Forces [IDF] Spokesperson's Unit said that Air Force jets attacked a terrorist cell in the southern Gaza Strip at 6 am, immediately after it had fired a rocket on Wednesday morning.

The escalation in the south follows the historic visit of Qatari ruler Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in Gaza on Tuesday. Al Thani was the first head of state to visit Gaza since Hamas seized control of the Strip five years ago.

An Israel Defense Forces [IDF] officer wounded in a terror attack on the Gaza border early on Tuesday [October 23] is still fighting for his life, hospital officials say. Captain Ziv Shilon, who serves as a Givati company commander, sustained moderate to serious injuries when a bomb went off on the Gaza border fence, near Kissufim. According to officials at Beersheba's Soroka Medical Center, Shilon lost the palm of his hand in the attack.

An initial inquiry suggests that the officer was hurt upon opening a gate. It is estimated the blast was caused by a roadside bomb, but the IDF is not ruling out the possibility of a mortar shell explosion. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility for the attack. IDF forces canvassed the area in search for the terrorists who laid the explosives.

"Everyone predicted a great military career for my brother, and I hope these dreams will come true," the officer's sister, Hila Magidovich said Tuesday. According to Magidovich, Shilon was expected to assume a new position of command in the coming days.

"Ziv is a highly capable, very motivated, and endlessly generous person," she said. "He always saw himself reaching the top ranks in the army and contributing more and more for the sake of the State."

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that the IDF will respond to the assault in due time. "No person or group who hurt Israel will remain unscathed," he said. Earlier Tuesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the incident during a meeting with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who is currently visiting Israel. "Israel will retaliate heavily to this terror," he said.

Egypt handed over to Israel at the Kerem Shalom crossing Friday night, Oct. 27, the body of a 43-year old Israeli man found on a northern Sinai beach near Sheikh Zuweid. The body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Pathology to discover his identity when a gunshot wound was found to have caused his death - not drowning as first believed. The body was fully clothed. debkafile: Sheikh Zuweid is a stronghold of armed Salafi groups associated with al Qaeda. The circumstances of his death in Sinai are under investigation to find out if he was snatched from one of the Sinai resorts which Israelis still frequent despite terror warnings and murdered. The latest warning is more comprehensive than ever before.

The Majlis Shura Al-Mujahideen is a roof organization of some 6,000 Egyptian, local Bedouin, Palestinian, Jordanian, Saudi, Yemeni and Libyan terrorists who subscribe to Al Qaeda's jihadist philosophy. From their strongholds in central and southern Sinai, they have carried out most of the recent spate of attacks on Israel and on Egyptian military targets in the peninsula.

But four months on, the jihadis remain in control of large tracts of the rugged Sinai desert. And last week, they received a large increment from Libya. The Libyan reinforcements were discovered on their arrival in Sinai Oct. 15 with a large quantity of weapons including missiles, ready for the forthcoming Eid offensive. Among them were some of the perpetrators of the murderous attack in Benghazi on Sept. 11 which killed four Americans at the US consulate.

This incoming intelligence prompted the US Statement Department's travel advisory of Tuesday, Oct. 23, for US citizens visiting Sinai and Israel's Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz's warning that coordinated terrorist attacks may be in store from Sinai and its northern borders with Lebanon and Syria.

Thursday's union between the Likud and Yisrael Beytenu parties has resulted in a tie between the rightist and the centrist-leftist blocs, a preliminary poll released after the announcement found. The centrist-left, however, includes the Arab anti-Zionist parties. The poll, conducted by the Panels Politics institute, was published on Channel 2 News Thursday night, just hours after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman announced that their two parties will run in a joint list for the next Knesset.

It found that both the rightist bloc and the centrist-leftist bloc would achieve 60 seats in the elections. On the right side of the map, the joint Likud and Yisrael Beytenu list achieves 33 seats, the joint National Union-Jewish Home list receives 13 seats, Shas receives nine seats, and United Torah Judaism receives five. On the other side of the map, the Labor party achieves 27 seats, Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid (Future) party receives 18 seats, Arab parties achieve ten seats, and Meretz achieves five. The poll found that both Kadima as well as Defense Minister Ehud Barak's Independence party do not pass the electoral threshold.

The poll, however, is a preliminary one and future polls may show different results. Prior to Netanyahu and Lieberman's announcement, Israeli media reported that the two conducted their own private polls which found that their union could give them as many as 50 seats. The reactions to Thursday's surprise announcement were mixed. While members of the two respective parties mostly welcomed the move, other parties, both right and left, criticized Netanyahu and Lieberman.

- O Abba Father, two of the political parties, the Likud and Yisrael Bettenu, have formed a union to work together for Israel's future. We acknowledge Lord, that this would upset other political group members as politics is driven so much by power and who has it. However, if this union is from Your Will, Lord, bless this union and fill the leaders with a keen ability for discerning Your Voice and direction for the future. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman appeared unimpressed Thursday by pessimistic public opinion polls and commentators' estimates over what caused him and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the friends turned rivals of Israeli politics, to merge their two parties. In general, Lieberman sees no problem in the Likud- Yisrael Beiteinu merger, as both parties come from the same ideological background. "The two parties are inspired by the same person: (Revisionist Zionist leader Ze'ev) Jabotinsky," Lieberman says Friday in an interview to Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth. "This is our common denominator. We are in favor of Judaism and of separating Judaism from political activism. We are against separating State and religion, but we are in favor of separating from public activists whose work is defamation of God.

"This whole move was taken because of the need to change the government system and introduce a reform. We need practical steps. Running together is the beginning of this move." Lieberman is unmoved by the Likud activists who spoke up against the merger deal, sending text messages to senior ministers and informing them that they are through with the party. "We are not a pork party and not a Tiv Taam store (non-kosher chain)," one of the activists wrote.

Lieberman is convinced that political elements are seeking to pull out the racist card following his party's merger with the Likud. "There is a sweeping majority within the Likud which understands that this is our duty at this time. It was clear that there would be objections, and there are some people within the political system who are trying to inflame the situation in order to pull out the racist card. They are clearly afraid."

The foreign minister says secret talks between him and Netanyahu began about a year ago and matured into a deal about two months ago. He rejects claims that Netanyahu was stressed out over the possibility that winning the elections was no longer in his pocket and therefore rushed into a merger with Yisrael Beiteinu. "This all began way before the polls and the decision to move up the elections. When I talk about a reform, we must reach a reality of four or five large parties."

- Dear Heavenly Father, this news article shows that this political union between the Likud- Yisrael Beiteinu parties has been under discussion for almost a year, and is not a 'knee jerk' reaction for election purposes. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

The Yarmouk Complex of military plants near Khartoum, which was bombed five minutes after midnight Wednesday, Oct. 24, by four fighter-bombers, recently went into manufacturing Iranian ballistic surface-to-surface Shehab missiles under license from Tehran, debkafile's military and intelligence sources disclose. Western intelligence sources have not revealed what types of Shehab were being turned out in Sudan but they believe the Yarmouk's output was intended to serve as Tehran's strategic reserve stock in case Iran's ballistic arsenal was hit by Israeli bombers. The Israeli Air Force has a long record of pre-emptive attacks for destroying an enemy's long-range missiles in the early stages of a conflict. In June 2006, for instance, the IAF destroyed 90 percent of Hizballah's long-range missiles in the first hours of the Lebanon war.

Western sources did not divulge information about the comings and goings of Iranian missile specialists or whether the Bashir government had given Tehran permission to stage attacks from Sudan against Middle East targets, in return for the allotment of a number of missiles to the Sudanese army. All they would say is that the complex's structures had been completely leveled by the aerial bombardment and subsequent fire. Sudan accused Israel of the attack and stated it reserved the right to respond at a time and circumstances of its choosing. Israeli officials declined to comment in answer to questions.

- Lord Jesus, why when the world sees that Israel is constantly under the threat of missiles and attacks, and when Israel does something to maintain their safety - their very survival - does a large part of the world's press present the news as if Israel is the evil one and the perpetrators who build the weapons used against Israel and who fire them against Israel, are 'innocent parties'? We thank You, Lord, for being with whomever succeeded in destroying this huge and dangerous threat, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle - My Loving Kindness and my Fortress, my High Tower and my Deliverer, my Shield and the One in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.(Psalm 144:1-2)

The Sudanese minister of information warned in an interview Saturday that his country would take "more decisive steps" against Israeli interests following the bombing of an arms factory in Khartoum. Ahmed Belal Osman told the BBC that Sudan now views Israeli interests as legitimate targets. Osman said his country has proof that Wednesday's bombing of Yarmouk industrial complex was carried out by Israel, and that experts who visited the scene found evidence that the bombs used were Israeli. "Only Israel has the technological capability that was used by the attackers," the minister added. He said that 60 percent of the factory was completely destroyed, and that the rest of the facility was partially destroyed, according to Israel Radio.

The implication was that if this were an Israeli strike, it would serve as a warning to Iran of the capacity to attack over such a range, on top of dealing a blow to Sudan and Iran in terms of lost ammunition. From Israel, the distance to Yarmouk is further than to certain key Iranian nuclear facilities.

The Israeli military and Foreign Ministry have refused to comment on the bombing.

- Abba Father, it appears that messages are being given to both Iran and Sudan as to what Israeli leaders will have done to protect Israel and its people. We ask, Lord, for you to confirm this to both of those nations as well, showing them that You alone are the Lord Almighty and that they need to take notice!! In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

- It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear. (Isaiah 65:24)

The Washington Free Beacon has obtained a report soon to be released by the United Nations that calls for an international campaign of legal attacks and economic warfare on a group of American companies that do business in Israel, including Hewlett-Packard, Caterpillar Inc., and Motorola Solutions Inc. The Human Rights Council (HRC), a body dominated by Islamic countries and known for its hostility to, and heavy focus on, the Jewish State, issued the report.

The George W. Bush administration refused to participate in the HRC, but President Barack Obama joined it soon after taking office. Members of the HRC include infamous human rights abusers such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Libya, China, and Cuba. The Obama-approved body maintains a "Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories [sic]."

The report attempts to instigate a campaign of boycott, divestment, sanctions, and legal action against a litany of international companies doing business in Israel. In addition to American companies, the U.N. targets include major European firms such as Veolia Environement, Group 4 Security, the Dexia Group, the Volvo Group.

"Employees of companies can face investigation and prosecution for human rights violations committed irrespective of where the violation was committed." In addition to legal action against American employees of targeted companies, the Special Rapporteur "concludes that all companies that operate in or otherwise have dealings with Israeli settlements should be boycotted." The companies should "be prepared to accept any consequences-reputation, financial, or legal-of continuing operations."

- O Abba Father, we fall before Your throne to plead that this called for boycott against Israeli related business relationships by the Human Rights Council (HRC) in the UN will come to naught!! HRC by name is for human rights, but the actions show the spirits driving and governing this council rise from hatred, vengeance, envy and lawlessness. We take up the stake of the Cross and drive it down through the gears operating in this council, declaring all planned evilness against Your land Israel and her people will come to nothing, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

Police arrested two Palestinians and two foreign ISM (International Solidarity Movement) activists who protested outside a Rami Levy supermarket branch in Shaar Binyamin, near Beit El on Wednesday [October 24]. The protesters blocked the entrance to the store, waved Palestinian flags and carried signs calling for a boycott of settlement goods.

Some of the protesters entered the supermarket and chanted slogans against the purchase [of] settlement goods. Large security forces that arrived at the scene tried to disperse the demonstrators using shock grenades. The Palestinians claimed that the forces exercised excessive force and arrested four people. It was further claimed that two Palestinians were rushed to hospital after being hurt in the clashes.

Abir Kopti, an activist with the Palestinian popular committees, told Ynet that Wednesday's protest was part of a line of steps recently taken. The first was last week's blocking of Route 443 [highway to Jerusalem through Judea and Samaria].

According to Kopti, the activists are planning additional protests in the future. "This time we chose the Rami Levy store because we want to send a message to boycott the occupation and its products. As long as the Palestinians get no justice, settlers and Israelis will not lead normal lives." She added that the protest was also meant to send a message to the Palestinian people not to shop in Rami Levy. It should be noted that the retail chain has two branches in the West Bank [Judea and Samaria] that also serve Palestinians.

The Regavim movement [organization whose purpose is to ensure responsible, legal & accountable use of Israel's national lands] said in response, "This is a provocation by Palestinians and anarchists who are trying to fan the flames in Judea and Samaria. The protest in Rami Levy, which employs and serves both Jews and Arabs, exposed the simple truth-that they are acting against co-existence. We ask that they take a look at what is going on in neighboring Syria which they hold so dear to their hearts."

- Pray for the Arab and Israeli workers and customers of the businesses in Samaria. Pray that God would protect their jobs and their freedom to sell and buy such essentials as food and clothing.

- "For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation: 'This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread." (Psalm 132: 13-15)

The U.S. government is about to add $450 million to its $16 trillion debt for the sake of Muslim Brotherhood-run Egypt.

According to the New York Times, the emergency cash transfer is part of a $1 billion aid package pledged in May. The original plan was to provide $190 million as soon as possible, but the declining economic conditions of Egypt convinced the Obama Administration to more than double that amount.

"In addition to the $1 billion in assistance, the administration is working with Egypt to provide $375 million in financing and loan guarantees for American financiers who invest in Egypt and a $60 million investment fund for Egyptian businesses.

Here are six things that American taxpayers' money will pay for once it arrives in Egypt:

1. The Unraveling of the Peace Treaty With Israel.

The pledge by Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammed Morsi to honor the peace treaty with Israel means nothing. The Brotherhood's line has always been that Israel is the one violating, and therefore nullifying, the treaty. After a meeting with Secretary of State Clinton, the Egyptian Foreign Minister said, "Mr. President [Morsi] has repeatedly reaffirmed, on all occasions, that Egypt continues to respect all treaties signed as long as the other party to the treaty respects the treaty itself." He then implied that Israel was in violation of the treaty.

2. Supporting Hamas.

The charter of the Hamas terrorist group states it is "one of the wings of the Muslim Brothers in Palestine." In December 2011, Hamas even changed its name to "The Islamic Resistance Movement-a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood-Palestine." The Brotherhood has never condemned Hamas. On the contrary, it has endorsed the terrorist group at every turn and preached to the Muslim world that it is the "resistance" to Israel.

3. Sharia Law.

Don't be fooled by the Brotherhood's adoption of popular terms like "democracy." Its senior cleric, Sheikh Yousef Qaradawi, explains that their version of "democracy" is different from that in the West. To them, democracy means the level of freedom permitted within the confines of Sharia Law.

4. Anti-Semitism and Anti-Americanism

The Brotherhood views the U.S. and Israel essentially as one unit. To them, the U.S. is secretly controlled by the anti-Muslim Zionists. In July 2004, Morsi talked about the "crisis of the Zionist and American enemy." In 2010, Brotherhood Supreme Guide Badi preached that "resistance is the only solution against the Zio-American arrogance and tyranny."

5. Building the Caliphate

This isn't an exaggeration. The Brotherhood and its allies won the elections in Egypt, Tunisia and Somalia. Hamas controls the Gaza Strip. In Yemen, the Brotherhood's Islah affiliate is the strongest party as the country undergoes a transition. Resurrecting the Caliphate sounds like a fantasy but the Brotherhood is certain that it is destiny and, if you look around the region, it's easy to see why they are confident that it will happen soon. At one of Morsi's campaign rallies, a cleric proclaimed, "We are seeing the dream of the Islamic Caliphate come true at the hands of Mohammed Morsi" and "the capital of the Caliphate and the United Arab States is Jerusalem." Morsi nodded.

6. Keeping the Brotherhood in Power

If American money helps the Egyptian economy succeed, it helps the Brotherhood succeed. It's as simple as that. If Morsi succeeds in improving the economy, even if it's because of international assistance, he gets the credit.

This is what Americans are paying $450 million for. And there's no money-back guarantee if they are unsatisfied. (Jack Van Impe)

- Help your friends, family, and acquaintances to realize the troubles that continuing aid to Egypt will cause for Americans. The Moslem Brotherhood and its leadership probably believe the lies they tell, but the real purpose of the lies is power. Should we wonder if Mr. Obama is deceived, or is he acting out his role in supporting the Moslem Brotherhood? Remember that until the age of 10 Obama lived in a Moslem household in Indonesia and was trained in a radical Islamic school. Pray that any aid to Egypt is prevented from reaching the country. Pray for the safety and protection of the Christians in Egypt. Pray that our Congress withholds these funds.

- "But the Lord is with me as a terrible mighty one: therefore, my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper; their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten." (Jeremiah20: 11)

Russian naval vessels have unexpectedly departed the Syrian Mediterranean port of Tartus, and Russian arms shipments to Syria have been suddenly discontinued. These steps indicate that the Russians are rapidly drawing away from the Syrian arena to avoid getting caught up in the escalating hostilities expected to arise from military intervention by the US, Europe, and a number of Arab states. Russian intelligence appears to have decided that this outside intervention is imminent, and Moscow looks anxious to keep its distance for now.

According to our military and Russian sources, these drastic steps must have been personally ordered by President Vladimir Putin, who is believed to have acted over the objections of some of his army and naval chiefs. This would explain the mixed statements issuing from Moscow in recent days about the disposition of Russian personnel at the naval base in Tartus and Russian military personnel in Syria.

When a Russian journalist pressed the general and ventured to ask whether Moscow was terminating its military involvement in Syria, Marakov retorted, "Why are you so worried about Syria?" But he didn't answer the question.

debkafile's military sources disclose that the Russians have taken five significant military steps with regard to Syria in the last two weeks:

1. They cancelled a large-scale naval exercise dubbed "Caucasus 2012" scheduled to start mid-August in the eastern Mediterranean opposite the Syrian coast;
2. Warships from three fleets - the Northern, Baltic and Black Sea - concentrated opposite Syria have dispersed and returned to their bases;
3. Syrian President Bashar Assad was notified that Moscow was halting military aid to his army - except for intelligence updates and advice on logistics from Russian military advisers;
4. Moscow has not clearly announced a freeze on arms shipments, including replacement parts for Russian weapons, which make up the bulk of the Syrian army's weaponry. Officials have only said, "There are no large Russian weapons shipments planned in the near future to Syria."
5. The only Russian naval ship left in Tartus - a floating Russian Navy PM-138 shipyard - is also under orders to depart Tartus and return to the Black Sea in September.

A Russian source disclosed that all the remaining Russian personnel in Tartus have gathered on the floating shipyard, except for two officers on shore. This vessel and the remaining personnel are evidently packed up and ready to sail at any moment out of the Syrian port. (

- What an interesting turn of events! Russia acts only when her power is threatened. Pray that Russia does not return to Syria - ever. Also pray against any secret agreements with Iran that Russia might make to help Assad. Russia does not like the Islamists, but will use them to gain further power for communism. Ask the Lord to have the Holy Spirit move upon the Russian Christians to use His prayer strategies against the rise of power of Putin.

- "The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy." (Psalm 145: 20)

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri has called on Muslims to kidnap Westerners, join Syria's rebellion and to ensure Egypt implements sharia, Reuters reported, citing a two-part film posted on Islamist websites. The Egypt-born cleric, who became al Qaeda leader last year after the death of Osama bin Laden, spoke in a message that lasted more than two hours.

"We are seeking, by the help of Allah, to capture others and to incite Muslims to capture the citizens of the countries that are fighting Muslims in order to release our captives," he said, praising the kidnapping of Warren Weinstein, a 71-year-old American aid worker in Pakistan last year.

Zawahri's message was first released on Wednesday, SITE said, just two weeks after the cleric issued a filmed statement calling for more protests against the United States over a California-made film mocking the Prophet Mohammad. In his new message, he called on Muslims to ensure Egypt's revolution continued until sharia law was implemented and urged fellow Muslims to join the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

U.S. President Barack Obama, whom Zawahri described as a "liar" and "one of the biggest supporters of Israel", has stepped up the use of unmanned drones to target militants in both countries as well as in Yemen.

In a further attack on Western governments and international institutions, Zawahri accused world powers of giving Syrian President Assad "a license to kill" his opponents. Syria's anti-government rebels include Islamist groups that draw on foreign fighters.

"I incite Muslims everywhere, especially in the countries that are contiguous to Syria, to rise up to support their brothers in Syria with all they can and not to spare anything that they can offer," he said. Zawahri, who led the Egyptian Islamic Jihad movement before joining al Qaeda, called on President Mohamed Mursi, the country's new Islamist leader, to explain his policies on Israel, Egyptian Christians, and sharia law.

Islamist militants want Egypt to introduce sharia and to tear up a 1979 peace treaty with Israel and were dismayed when Mursi said he would appoint a Coptic Christian vice president "The battle in Egypt is very clear. It is a battle between the secular minority that is allied with the church and that is leaning on the support of the army, who are made up by (former President Hosni) Mubarak and the Americans ... and the Muslim ummah (nation) in Egypt that is seeking to implement sharia," he said. (Reuters)

- Zawahri is trying to present an image of "courage" and power as the head of Islam. Ask the Lord to humble him so that his speech has no power. This man is manical in his desire to murder. People who foment violence against others ultimately attact violence on themselves. Pray that he dies to himself and becomes a new man in Christ. With God all things are possible. Ask the Lord to protect Westerners.

- "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness." (Proverbs 15: 1,2)

"O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! " (Psalm 8:1)

When we pray in the Name of Yeshua, there is power in His Name. The same power that set His Glory -- His Kavod -- in the heavens, is the same power available to me.

How majestic is Your Name! I thank You that I know You by name!!

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done." (Psalm 105:1)
