The FBI News Conference:
Hillary Clinton "Cleared of Charges"
1. FBI Director Comey: 'No Charges Are Appropriate' in Clinton Email Case - CNSNews.com
One week after Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with Bill Clinton; three days after Hillary Clinton met with FBI investigators; and on the same day Hillary Clinton was campaigning alongside President Obama in North Carolina, FBI Director James Comey announced that he is referring the Clinton email case to the Justice Department with a recommendation that "no charges are appropriate in this case."
"Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgement is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case," Comey told a news conference Tuesday morning.
Comey said the FBI did not coordinate its findings with the anyone else in the Obama administration. "They do not know what I'm about to say." (Read more)
2. FBI Director: 'It Is Possible Hostile Actors Gained Access to Secretary Clinton's Personal Email Account' - CNSNews.com
"We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial email accounts of people with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account," said Comey.
"We also assess that Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email domain was both known by a large number of people and readily apparent," he added.
"She also used her personal email extensively while outside the United States, including sending and receiving work-related emails in the territory of sophisticated adversaries," he said.
"Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton's personal email account," Comey concluded. (Read more)
3. FBI Director: 'Seven Email Chains Concern Matters That Were Classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program' - CNSNews.com
FBI Director James Comey announced Tuesday his investigation found that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent and received emails that contained information classified "Top Secret/Special Access Program" in seven email chains.
"Seven email chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program at the time they were sent and received. Those chains involve Secretary Clinton both sending emails about those matters and receiving emails about those same matters," Comey said.
Comey said while there was no "clear evidence" that "Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information," evidence suggests that they were "extremely careless" in handling very sensitive, highly classified information. (Read more)
4. Trump unloads on FBI clearing Clinton: 'System rigged' - WND
"The system is rigged," charged Donald Trump.
The GOP presidential candidate wasted no time in blasting the FBI after its director announced his decision not to recommend the government file criminal charges against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton over her email scandal.
Immediately following the announcement, Trump fired off a tweet that read: "The system is rigged. General Petraeus got in trouble for far less. Very very unfair! As usual, bad judgment."
That was a reference to former CIA Director David Petraeus. In his case, FBI investigators recommended felony charges against the former general for allegedly providing classified information to his biographer and mistress, Paula Broadwell. Petraeus eventually pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified information. (Read more)

5. FBI Rewrites Federal Law to Let Hillary Off the Hook - Andrew McCarthy - National Review
There is no way of getting around this: According to Director James Comey (disclosure: a former colleague and longtime friend of mine), Hillary Clinton checked every box required for a felony violation of Section 793(f) of the federal penal code (Title 18): With lawful access to highly classified information she acted with gross negligence in removing and causing it to be removed it from its proper place of custody, and she transmitted it and caused it to be transmitted to others not authorized to have it, in patent violation of her trust. Director Comey even conceded that former Secretary Clinton was "extremely careless" and strongly suggested that her recklessness very likely led to communications (her own and those she corresponded with) being intercepted by foreign intelligence services.
Yet, Director Comey recommended against prosecution of the law violations he clearly found on the ground that there was no intent to harm the United States.
In essence, in order to give Mrs. Clinton a pass, the FBI rewrote the statute, inserting an intent element that Congress did not require. The added intent element, moreover, makes no sense: The point of having a statute that criminalizes gross negligence is to underscore that government officials have a special obligation to safeguard national defense secrets; when they fail to carry out that obligation due to gross negligence, they are guilty of serious wrongdoing. The lack of intent to harm our country is irrelevant. People never intend the bad things that happen due to gross negligence. (Read more)
6. "Extremely Careless" - Gary Bauer
As you may know by now, Director Comey stated this morning that the FBI was recommending that Hillary Clinton face no charges for her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state. Sadly, I think we all knew this would be the likely outcome.
Nevertheless, I am outraged by this latest Clinton scandal and the utter lack of accountably. The Clintons once again dodged a legal bullet and are undoubtedly breathing a sigh of relief.
While his decision is deeply disappointing, his remarks are likely to appear in dozens of campaign ads later this year. For example, Comey said that Clinton and her colleagues were "extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information." He also stated that it was possible hostile actors gained access to some of that information because Clinton used multiple mobile devices even while traveling "in the territory of sophisticated adversaries."
Director Comey made it clear that her conduct would usually result in "administrative sanctions" for most people working in the intelligence community. Such sanctions might involve the loss of one's security clearance, effectively ending their careers.
While she is getting off scot-free, Clinton's reckless conduct is likely to remain a major theme of this campaign. In many ways, the tenor of Director Comey's remarks eviscerated the notion that Hillary, with all her years of experience, is the steady hand we need in these uncertain times.
Prayer Focus:
Father God, we lift this matter up to You and to Your Throne of Grace. Father God, we have always believed that our nation is governed by the rule of law -- not by the whims of men who are in authority. We ask that our confidence in our government not be shaken, even as we resolve to correct that which is wrong. We pray for godly order, and for peace.
Lord God, in this hour of crisis, we also especially lift up those who today are in prison cells, having violated the same statutes cited today by the Director of the FBI, yet serving time or paying huge fines as a result. Lord God, please comfort each one.
Father, we ask for justice, in Your name, amen.
"But let justice roll down like waters And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream." (Amos 5:24)

1. Abbas refusing to condemn terror surge, 'not taking calls' from world statesmen - Times of Israel
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had refused, as of Saturday night, to condemn the current surge in Palestinian terrorism, including the killing of a 13-year-old Israeli girl on Thursday and a father of 10 on Friday. He is also reportedly refusing to take calls from Israeli and world leaders who are seeking to encourage him to speak out.
As of Saturday night, Abbas had made no official statement in response to the killing of Hallel Yaffa Ariel, who was stabbed to death as she slept in her bedroom at home in Kiryat Arba, near Hebron, on Thursday morning, or the drive-by shooting on Friday afternoon of Rabbi Miki Mark.
A Channel 2 report on Saturday said numerous Israeli and world leaders had contacted Abbas, pleading with him in particular to speak out publicly in the case of Ariel, but to no avail. Abbas, said the report, is even refusing to take some of the calls. (Read more)
2. President, thousands mourn 'righteous' rabbi slain in terror attack - Times of Israel
Thousands of mourners attended the funeral ceremony for Rabbi Miki Mark in the West Bank settlement of Otniel on Sunday morning, two days after he was killed in a drive-by shooting terror attack outside Hebron.
President Reuven Rivlin, a distant relative of the victim, said the whole nation was grieving with him over the loss of Mark.
"You were a righteous and modest man who gave of his own even when he knew it couldn't be repaid," Rivlin said in his eulogy, held at the seminary Mark directed.
Mark, 48, was killed Friday when his car was shot at by suspected Palestinian terrorists in a passing car as he was driving on Route 60 in the southern West Bank, forcing him off the road, where his car overturned. His wife, who remains in intensive care, and two children who were in the car were injured in the attack. (Read more)
3. Rivlin to Muslim leaders: Stop the next murder - Israel National News
President Reuven Rivlin on Sunday evening hosted a traditional Iftar meal, marking the breaking of the day's Ramadan fast, attended by leading members of the Muslim community in Israel.
Attendees included members of the diplomatic community, religious leaders, and senior Israeli officials. Also attending were the Ambassadors to Israel of Jordan, Egypt, Uzbekistan, and the Turkish Charge d'Affaires.
The President began by speaking in Arabic and welcomed his guests, "Salem Alaykum, it is a great honor for me to welcome you here today."
"Ramadan is the month of patience and tolerance, a month of sensitivity to others, to the plights of the poor and the weak. It is a month of good neighborliness. You sitting here today, portray every day through your actions and words the values of this month," Rivlin continued in Hebrew, before speaking of the current climate and challenges.
"I know well that the public spirit and at times the political discourse can leave a feeling of despair, of alienation and distance, of a rift, but on the ground we see things differently," he said, added that "on the ground the first signs of blossoms have appeared in the form, with the implementation of the economic development plan for the Arab sector, and the Arab mayors who have been brave and determined partners in leading the process." 4. Israel okays 800 new homes in East Jerusalem, West Bank - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman approved on Sunday construction plans for some 800 new housing units in East Jerusalem and the Ma'ale Adumim settlement, as well as hundreds of new homes for an Arab neighborhood of East Jerusalem.
According to the plan, 560 new units will be built in Ma'ale Adumim, a West Bank settlement to the east of the capital, 140 homes were approved for the Jewish East Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot and 100 for the Har Homa neighborhood, in southeastern Jerusalem. (Read more)
5. Jerusalem Judge Rules: Shouting 'Allahu Akbar' at Non-Muslims on Temple Mount Constitutes Illegal Disturbance of Peace - Algemeiner
Shouting "Allahu akbar" - Arabic for "God is great" - at Jews on the Temple Mount is illegal and constitutes a disturbance of the peace, a Jerusalem Magistrate's Court judge ruled, a Hebrew news site reported on Sunday.
"Past experience in Israel has taught us that the commonly used chant for something other than prayer often accompanies riots and sometimes leads to physical violence and terrorism," the judge said.
The ruling was about a five-year-old case involving Sahar Ghazzawi, an Arab who was detained by police after he yelled "Allahu akbar" at a group of Jews on the holy site. As he was being escorted away from the area, he began to flail his arms and resist, pushing a policeman to the ground and breaking his walkie-talkie. Ghazzawi was then indicted for interfering with the duty of a policeman.
In his defense, Ghazzawi claimed that he had not disturbed the peace, but was merely making religious utterances at the holy site as part of his ritual behavior. He also claimed that the reason he pushed the police officer was because the latter refused to let him go to the bathroom. (Read more)
6. Presbyterian Church USA "Curses" Israel With Pro-BDS, Anti-Settlement Resolutions - Breaking Israel News
Presbyterian Church USA passed a series of resolutions at its general assembly in support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, while calling on Israel to leave the disputed territories.
Among the measures passed by the Presbyterian Church includes the approval of a report, in a 429-129 vote, that seeks to examine the two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and possible alternatives "including but not limited to that of two sovereign states-Israel and Palestine." The report says that Israel's "policy trajectory of continued settlements and brutal occupation" is "deeply troubling."
"Not only does it make a two-state solution increasingly difficult, if not impossible, to achieve, but the emerging, de facto single state's systematic violation of Palestinian rights and democratic values is eroding Israel's moral legitimacy," the report adds. (Read more)

1. Sen. Tom Cotton Quips: FBI Might Ask Putin for Copies of Missing Hillary Emails - Breitbart
The Arkansas senator on the list of potential running mates for Donald J. Trump, the GOP's presumptive nominee, told activists Saturday at the Western Conservative Summit that Hillary Clinton's reckless and criminal behavior disqualifies her to become America's commander-in-chief.
Clinton's decision to conduct all her official business on her own private email account on her own private server and the way she has handled official and media inquires about it was just teaser of how her administration will approach transparency and national security, Cotton said.
The FBI still does not have 30,000 emails the expected Democratic nominee for president claimed to have deleted. "It has gotten so bad, the FBI is on the verge of asking Vladimir Putin for his copies of Hillary's emails," Cotton said. (Read more)
> > > Published July 2, 2016
- Father, We ask You to bring about the fall of evil in any way possible. We know that Your ways are not our ways and we rely on You to bring forth truth even if it is by Putin. We are distraught over the ruling of the FBI to not bring Hillary Clinton up on criminal charges concerning her emails. How can we not prosecute someone who has recklessly put our nation and its people in harms way.? Does this mean that our laws do not pertain to everyone? Open the eyes of the blind and bring justice once again to our nation.
- "Beloved, never avenge yourselves but leave it to the wrath of God. For it is written, ' Vengeance is Mine, sayeth the Lord." (Romans 12:19)
2. Ryan Rolls Out Sweeping Tax Cut Proposals as part of Election-Year Agenda - IFA
House Republicans on Friday unveiled their plan for sweeping tax reform, a key pillar of the Republican agenda for years that is not being discussed much on the campaign trail this year. The tax proposal is the sixth and final element of a policy agenda rolled out in recent weeks by House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) in an effort to help House Republicans establish a policy platform independent of their presumptive presidential nominee, Donald Trump. The platform includes planks on healthcare, national security, regulatory reform and reducing poverty. (Read more)
- IFA has said before in this space that until Senate and House members will be governed by the same laws they write for the rest of the populace, proposed tax "reform" will revolve around who pays most and where the money will come from. Rep. Ryan no doubt means well, but positive tax changes will not come until government spending is reigned in. Please pray accordingly.
- "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God." (Romans 13:1)
3. Ryan says House won't vote on Democrat gun control bills - AP
The House won't vote on proposed Democratic gun curbs, Speaker Paul Ryan suggested Tuesday as the rekindled election-year clash over firearms showed no sign of resolution.
Ryan, R-Wis., said Democrats' plans to broaden required background checks for gun buyers and to bar firearm sales to terror suspects were unconstitutional.
And though he did not directly say he would block votes on the Democrats' bills, he said Republicans had no intention of rewarding Democrats for their lengthy House floor sit-in two weeks ago to demand gun-control votes.
Ryan says the Democratic bills would violate the Constitution's rights for people to bear arms and to have legal processes to protect themselves. (Read more)
- Lord God, we thank You for Speaker Ryan's position on this critical matter. We believe that the Rule of Law, as described in the Constitution of the United States of America, governs our people. Praise God for a Speaker of the House that upholds the Second Amendment, protecting our right to bear arms. In Your name, amen!
- "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord." (Psalm 150:6)
4. Inside a Secret Government Warehouse Prepped for Health Catastrophes - IFA
When Greg Burel tells people he's in charge of some secret government warehouses, he often gets asked if they're like the one at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, where the Ark of the Covenant gets packed away in a crate and hidden forever.
"Well, no, not really," says Burel, director of a program called the Strategic National Stockpile at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Thousands of lives might someday depend on this stockpile, which holds all kinds of medical supplies that the officials would need in the wake of a terrorist attack with a chemical, biological or nuclear weapon.
The location of these warehouses is secret. How many there are is secret. (Although a former government official recently said at a public meeting that there are six.) And exactly what's in them is secret. "If everybody knows exactly what we have, then you know exactly what you can do to us that we can't fix," says Burel. "And we just don't want that to happen."
What he will reveal is how much the stockpile is worth: "We currently value the inventory at a little over $7 billion." (Read more)
- This report raises many questions. Readers will likely compare these storage facilities to insurance premiums paid for policies against injury, damage, and fire. Such payments are necessary, but we hope we never have to file a claim. Considering a widespread national disaster, let us pray for God's mercy. Pray for a repentant nation with open hearts for spiritual revival.
- "But if they will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors-their unfaithfulness and their hostility toward me, which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies-then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin, I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land." (Leviticus 26:40-42 NIV)
5. U.S. Man Arrested on Terrorism Charges - Voice of America
An 18-year-old man is accused of conspiring to carry out acts of terrorism against government buildings in the southwest U.S. state of Arizona. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Arizona Attorney General's Office say 18-year-old Mahin Khan was arrested following an investigation by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. He is suspected of planning attacks on government buildings in Phoenix and Tucson.
Officials said Khan's alleged plans did not involve the Fourth of July or any related festivities. They added there are no additional suspects and no current threat to the public involving Khan's plans. Khan appeared in court Saturday on two counts of conspiracy to commit terrorism and terrorism. (Read more)
- Jesus, We thank you for uncovering the plots of terrorism by Mahin Khan against our nation. We praise You, God, for the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and their work in this case. Lord Jesus, we ask that You would send someone to bring the gospel of salvation to this young man because You wish none to perish, amen.
- "He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made."
(Psalm 7:15)
6. Kuwait 'foils three planned IS attacks' - BBC
"The authorities in Kuwait say they have thwarted three planned attacks by so-called Islamic State (IS), including a plot to blow up a Shia mosque. An interior ministry statement said security agencies had arrested five Kuwaitis and an Asian in a series of raids inside Kuwait and abroad. Those held include a woman and her son, who were living between Syria and Iraq.
The interior ministry statement, which was published overnight, did not mention when the raids to foil the alleged plots took place. One of those held was named as Talal Naif Raja, an 18-year-old who the statement said was planning to bomb a Shia mosque and an interior ministry facility. (Read more)
- Once again, we thank You Father that darkness has been brought to light and that these horrible attacks will not happen. We pray that the one member who is still at large will be caught and brought to justice. Jesus we ask You to comfort all those who mourn today for loved ones that have been killed during Ramadan. God walk among the terrorists and let them see the truth. There is no God but You!
- "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)
7. Taliban Chief Warns Jihad Against US-led 'Occupation' to Continue - Voice of America
The new Taliban chief has called for the United States to end its "occupation" of Afghanistan, saying the Islamist insurgency is determined to "salvage" the country from the claw of the infidel occupation and mischief."
Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada made the remarks Saturday in connection with the annual Eid festival, which marks the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. "You will not be able to frustrate the determination of our (the Afghans) Jihadic struggle, by your resorting to extending the time of presence of your soldiers or of increasing military rule of engagement in Afghanistan," he said.
Hibatullah was referring to President Barack Obama's decision to increase airstrikes against the Taliban and to deploy of U.S. soldiers to the battlefield when necessary to help Afghan forces defeat the insurgents. "You [the United States] are facing up not a group or faction but a nation. You are not going to be a winner [God willing]. So it is rational if you come with a reasonable policy for solution [of the issue] instead of the use of force," he asserted. (Read more)
- Oh, Mighty Lord, it will take You to give our leaders wisdom as to how to counter this kind of evil-induced determination to fight the US led forces that are seeking an end to fighting and peace for all. We will be the voice of protection for our troops and for an effective plan of action that brings Your kind of peace. Please cause our military along with the Commander-in-Chief to make productive plans put down rebellion and please protect our troops, who are such a target right now.
- "My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard of the rout of my wicked foes." (Psalms 92:11)
8. Vladimir Putin to send Russia's largest warship to Syria to destroy ISIS once and for all - The Sun UK
VLADIMIR Putin is to send Russia's largest battleship to Syria in a bid to crush ISIS once and for all. The Russian president is to dispatch the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier plus 30 jet fighters and attack helicopters to the war-torn country in an attempt to destroy the terror group for good.
The Kremlin strongman's decision came in the wake of ISIS atrocities in Bangladesh - where it murdered 20 hostages in a restaurant in the capital Dhaka - and Baghdad, Iraq, where a car bomb killed 125 shoppers. (Read more)
- Lord, we seek Your hand in this matter of Putin's actions and ask that You be fully involved so that only Your goals are reached. We pray that this ambitious Russian Bear be kept from making excuses to take more territory and influence in the Middle East. We honor You, as the one who establishes boundaries for countries and pray for peace to reign in this area.

The age of American lawlessness
During the week leading up to July 4, 2012, Americans experienced an incredible week of historic events. Founded on the principle that government was instituted to protect the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that week was an amazing display of how government, if not limited by the people who empower it, can become an all powerful leviathan. The very rights the government is instituted to protect are those which the government is taking from the American people and putting in the lockdown of elected and appointed tyrants. Perhaps they do not think of themselves as such, but their actions speak louder than their words. In four years, what has changed?
We have a non-elected Supreme Court trampling all over liberty and an elected presidency refusing to enforce the law. In 2012, the Supreme Court ruled that your right to life--the very stewardship of your life in all of its sustainable aspects--can be taken over by the government and it is the government's Constitutional prerogative to tax you for this privilege. The Court legalized socialist health care by calling it a tax. Fast forward to 2016, the Supreme Court ruled on another life issue by further instituting the right to kill the unborn. The majority of America wanted no part of this forced redistribution of wealth, but the "president" and his party forced it upon us. The backlash: he was elected for another four years.
In July 2012, the Executive Branch arrogantly refused to enforce the law. One glaring example was the Defense of Marriage Act. Another was immigration laws where the "president" issued an Executive Order for illegal alien amnesty. The Administration told Arizona that it would not enforce the portion of the law that the Supreme Court ruled Constitutional. Congress voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for not cooperating on a gun running scheme the Administration was involved in with Mexican drug cartels. The Justice department said that it would not prosecute Holder even if Congress demands it--the US Attorney works for Holder. What has changed in four years?
A Constitutional Republic, which is what America is founded upon, requires a representative government to abide by and enforce the law. Jesus said in Matthew 24:12, "And because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." In this, the laws of God are not followed resulting in love growing cold. When the laws of God are not followed, society is no longer safe, the general welfare goes unprotected. The Founders interwove the laws of God in writing the Constitution. The current leadership is dismantling it. If We the People allow this to continue, our rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness will become enslaved to tyrants and be like chains around our necks. We knew these things four years ago. Another opportunity presents itself to make at least an incremental change, or remain in an age of growing lawlessness.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Chinese Authorities Force Churches in Zhejiang to Hand over Income and Donations to the Government
(Wenzhou, Zhejiang-July 1, 2016) Authorities in China's coastal Zhejiang province recently demanded that some churches hand all their income, including donations, to the government as part of a movement to implement more official regulations.
Since last year, the Chinese government has been pressuring churches to implement the "five transformations," which consist of "localizing religion (through adopting local architectural styles for church buildings), standardizing management, indigenizing theology (by contextualizing sermons), financial transparency and adapting Christian teachings," in order to mold Christianity into an institution that reflects the objectives of the Communist Party. As a result, the government established office spaces within churches and assigned officials to closely regulate them. (China Aid) Read more here.

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:
BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC
"He will thunder from His holy dwelling and roar mightily against His land. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, shout against all who live on earth." (Jeremiah 25:30)
Lyrics
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.
I have seen Him in the watch fires of a hundred circling camps They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps; I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps; His day is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His day is marching on.
I have read a fiery Gospel writ in burnished rows of steel; "As ye deal with My contemners, so with you My grace shall deal"; Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with His heel, Since God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Since God is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat; He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat; Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet; Our God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me: As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free; While God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! While God is marching on.
He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave, He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave; So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of wrong His slave, Our God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.

The U.S. Army Chorus performed at the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Library.
About the Author:
Words: Julia W. Howe, 1861
Music: John William Steffe
This hymn was born during the American civil war, when Howe visited a Union Army camp on the Potomac River near Washington, D. C. She heard the soldiers singing the song "John Brown's Body," and was taken with the strong marching beat. She wrote the words the next day:
I awoke in the grey of the morning, and as I lay waiting for dawn, the long lines of the desired poem began to entwine themselves in my mind, and I said to myself, "I must get up and write these verses, lest I fall asleep and forget them!" So I sprang out of bed and in the dimness found an old stump of a pen, which I remembered using the day before. I scrawled the verses almost without looking at the paper.
The hymn appeared in the Atlantic Monthly in 1862. It was sung at the funerals of British statesman Winston Churchill, American senator Robert Kennedy, and American presidents Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon.

Flooding kills more than 180 people in central and southern China
More than 180 people have been killed in flooding along the Yangtze River in China following torrential rain, officials say. Between 10cm and 50cm of rain has fallen in seven provinces, and storms stretching 1,600km (1,000 miles) are sweeping across central and southern China.
